The Absolute Best!
Tom was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! He was super professional and really knew how to give great direction to capture beautiful shots of us and the venue, but he was also totally open to our ideas and made sure we got the photos we wanted. The pictures turned out stunning, we’re so excited to share them with our friends and family and know we’ll cherish them forever. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! -

Tom's experience, talent, & personality create the ideal wedding photographer! My husband and I spoke with quite a few photographers and it was clear that Tom was the right/only choice after the first call. While bringing wonderful energy to all of our interactions Tom also has a very calming presence that we appreciated in the planning process and on the big day.
All of the requested family combos, special moments, details, and SO much more captured seamlessly and beautifully. We feel like we're reliving the day when browsing through the gallery. Tom is a complete professional through every step of the process, winning my dad's approval immediately. And his professionalism AND creativity shine through in every photo.
Tom's pricing structure is straight forward, flexible, and reasonable. Nothing like the set packages that we saw from others - a la carte, as it should be.
+ Extra kudos for following while I led my new husband on a trek across the rocky ledge of Lake Erie :)

I created a profile just so I could leave this review. I am so happy I booked my wedding with Tom! He captured every part of my day. Even the moments I may have missed. He was everywhere at the perfect time. Even a heavy rainstorm didn’t stop him from capturing breathtaking photos. Highly recommend his work and will forever recommend him. -

Tom was great to work with and has such a wonderful photography style! Made me feel comfortable taking pictures, even though I'm not a big fan of photos. Was easy to schedule and was worth every cent! He had a survey to take once you got close to the wedding, specifically about wedding day times and people to include in pictures, and it was really helpful to plan the day. Was the easiest part of the wedding to plan! -

Tom is a complete professional and master of his trade. We interviewed several wedding photographers, and Tom stood out by far even from our very first call. During that call, it was clear that he heard and understood our priorities. His calm yet confident composure was a breath of fresh air after talking with many other photographers that were pushy and trying to upsell us on various services we were not interested in. We worked with Tom remotely since we were traveling in for our wedding. Even though we had not met him in person up until the day of our wedding, he was always available for an email or call if we had any questions or conerns. He accomodated all of our requests no matter how atypical, and leading up to the event, he kept a constant line of communication to put any of our worries at ease. Neither of us feel like we are particularly photogenic, but with Tom's direction, the posed photos felt and looked completely natural. He also did a fantastic job photographing candid moments of us and our guests throughout the event. The artistry in his work really captured the entire day beautifully, and many of our guests commented on his kind and professional demeanor throughout the day. Despite promising us a lot, he still far exceeded our expectations. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him, and now we have an extensive collection of gorgeous photos to remember every part of that day. -

Can we give Tom 10/5 stars? I mean, hiring him was the single best decision we made in our entire wedding-planning process. Of all our vendors, Tom was the easiest to get in touch with, and he was always quick to answer our questions and give suggestions when we asked. I had no doubt at all that we'd get along when we met him (we only chatted on the phone prior to wedding day), and I was right. He was such a calming presence on our wedding day, managed to corral our family members kindly and efficiently, and got every shot we could have wanted. He's so professional. He delivered our edited photos within 3 weeks of our wedding. 3 weeks! He told us to expect a month, but we were amazed at how quickly he got the photos back to us. We can't thank Tom enough for everything he did to create photos that will preserve our memories forever. All we can do is tell everyone to hire him for photography in Northeast Ohio. -

I actually found Tom's photos on a Pinterest post when I looked up my venue and I loved his photography style. His style is natural with limited filters. Comparing him to other larger photo studios I interviewed, he actually read ahead the answers I already submitted and we could build our discussion from there versus redoing the questionnaire on the phone. That already indicated to me that he pays attention to detail. During our engagement and ultimately our wedding photo sessions, he made sure we felt comfortable and he gives very clear instructions on how he wanted you to pose. He made sure he captured every important moment and he kept us on track with the schedule as much as our coordinator did. Tom is a true professional at his craft and I will always recommend him to anyone who is looking for a photographer. We are so happy with how all of our photos turned out and we know that you will be too if you are able to hire him for your special day! -

Tom was fabulous at executing our vision for our wedding photos. The pictures turned out beautiful and straight out of a magazine! Perhaps the best part of his service was his complete flexibility in meeting our unique needs; our wedding was slightly less traditional and shorter than most and Tom created a package for us for a great, fair price. I cannot recommend Tom Forrest Photography enough! -

Wonderful experience working with Tom
We hired Tom at a recommendation of another photographer. He was professional and personable to work with leading up to the wedding and had great communication. He made it so easy to plan our timeline out.
Tom was great to share the day with - our families and wedding party loved him! The photos he produced are all gorgeous and we are so happy with our choice for our photographer. I would recommend him to any couple getting married and we are hoping we can use him in the future for other photography needs. -

Tom was so amazing to work with for our big day! Throughout the process Tom was such a great communicator and responded very promptly. This made everything very stress free leading up to the wedding. The day of Tom and his assistant were so professional and did such a great job capturing our day. They were so easy to work with and made everything so fun! We just received our photos a week ago and could not be more pleased with them! He really captured the day so perfectly and we couldn’t have been happier with our wedding album! Every person we showed the album to was so amazed with how great the photos turned out! If you are looking for a great photographer for your big day, Tom is the person to hire! -

Tom is simply the best. As a video professional/photographer myself, I can tell you the quality of his work is top notch. After seeing his photos from my sister's wedding, I knew we had to have him for mine as well. He is very talented at finding beautiful light and he never misses a moment. He made everyone feel at ease for portraits and if you love candid moments, you simply have to go with Tom. On top of that, Tom has such a calming, friendly presence and it was a pleasure to have him with us on our wedding day. -

Amazing experience
Tom was so professional and fun to work with! I gave him only general locations for pictures, and he found the specific places that were beautiful. He made everyone feel comfortable and set a fun atmosphere to get everyone in the photo mood. I was worried about one of the locations (that I chose) not looking that great in pictures/having a bunch of cars in the background. But they turned out to be some of my favorites. And not a car in sight!! He made the details of my wedding look glamorous. Highly recommend!! -

Tom was an amazing photographer for both our wedding in 2020 and our postponed reception in 2021. In addition to the quality of his work, he was so accommodating and adaptable through anything from massive thunderstorms mid-shoot to major plan changes due to the pandemic. He made everything so easy for us and we're so happy with the results! -

Tom was wonderful to work with from first day we met. He answered all of our questions and then asked additional questions we didn’t even think of. Tom was very accommodating to our day of schedule and was flexible with attending to both the bridesmaids and groomsmen. The day of our wedding it poured all day - of course not ideal, but Tom quickly adapted to our new locations. He took industrial looking bridges and backgrounds and turned them into beautiful bridal photos. I had full trust in Tom and his ability to capture our day. Tom also captures every detail of our venue. This was very important to me and the pictures make you feel like you were at the reception! I received my suite of photos sooner than originally expected and love the story they tell. -

Best choice
All of the 5* reviews here are accurate: we are SO happy with our decision to choose Tom as our wedding photographer. He was patient, friendly and easy to work with and he is extremely talented as a photographer. He helped relieve our stress leading up to the day with timelines and other planning issues. We got our pictures so fast and were blown away with how beautiful they are, and also how it seems he was “everywhere” but we didn’t even notice him on the wedding day. My mother is a former wedding photographer and she was very impressed by him and his work. Recommend for sure! -

So professional, so nice, super easy going and really, really funny. He had our whole party laughing the whole time and we felt immediately at ease with him in the room. When we ran into a speed bump with another wedding party shooting at our location, he was cool, calm and collected and handled everything for us. Would hire him 100 times over and can't say enough about how wonderful he is. He knew all the ins and outs of our venue and had great recommendations for where to take photos and how to pose - I didn't have to worry about a thing. He takes lots of pictures and they all came out perfect. Thank you so much, Tom, for being such a great part of our day! -
