The toast team (DFW) was spectacular!
Horace, our DJ, really kept the party alive and even filled in a gap left by a no-show vendor during our cocktail hour. He brought our entire vision to life, and our guests are still raving about his ability to cater to our musical needs. It was certainly no small task mixing R&B, Bachata, Reggaeton, Soca, Dancehall, and other genres, but he absolutely nailed it. It was a very diverse crowd (120 guests), but everyone loved it!
Our photographers, Norman and Jennifer, were equally amazing. They captured every moment beautifully and made us feel completely at ease. Their guidance, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond their roles played a huge part in bringing our wedding dream to life. We're so excited to see the final pictures, and we loved having them as part of our vendor team!
The experience fell within our budget, and we even had a little extra at the end to upgrade our experience.
We upgraded to include the audio phonebook (which was a hit), up lighting, and the dancing-on-the-cloud effect! All of these helped elevate our wedding and really wow our guests! Our friend group has been to numerous weddings over recent years, and our wedding is being talked about as the best wedding some people have ever been to! This is, of course, thanks to the Toast Team among our other booked vendors!
The whole booking process was great as well! You do have to dedicate time to filling out planning forms, but once done, you can work directly with the booked team. We cut it a bit close with the timing for a few aspects, but the Toast Team worked with us and secured everything leading up to the day. They are a very responsive, caring, and professional company to work with. The event follow-up was also welcomed, and they made every effort to accommodate our wants and needs. We had an amazing experience with Mark B from Toast Entertainment ATX as our wedding DJ.
We had a live guitarist for pre-ceremony through cocktail hour, and Mark took over at the call to dinner. He did a fantastic job emceeing throughout the night, from our couple's entrance to first dance to dinner, speeches, parent dances, opening up the dance floor, anniversary dance, etc.
Toast’s planning process is thorough, which we appreciated. Their forms let you specify everything from must-play and do-not-play songs to music for very specific moments like cake cutting, last dance, getaway, etc.
Mark asked how we wanted him to approach the playlist—whether to stick exactly to what we provided, use it as a guideline, or take full creative control. We used it as a guideline (pulling a lot from guest RSVP song requests), and he did a great job reading the room and building on that.
Our group was a mix of Latino and non-Latino guests, mostly millennials (around our age, ~30) with some older guests as well, and he blended everything so well—current songs, throwbacks, and different genres.
Mark himself was personable, professional, and great on the mic. He kept the energy exactly where we wanted it all night. We also had a call with him the week before the wedding to go through all the details. He worked with us on exact timing—starting and fading songs for our entrance, first dance, and parent dances at just the right moments, and walked through cues for entrances and transitions so everything felt seamless.
Our guests commented on how great the DJ was, and the dance floor stayed full and lively. If anything, we maybe could have had a few more slow songs since we had a lot of couples—but that was totally on us since we specifically asked to keep the energy up, and that’s exactly what he delivered.

Toast Entertainment has a great system set up. They ask all the right questions in a very reasonable timeline, and answer any questions you might have promptly.
Our DJ was Reno, and he was awesome. He had a great attitude, very professional and friendly, and he did exactly as we requested while also managing some impromptu moments very well. For instance, when one of our activities ran over the alotted time (a game that was only supposed to take one song but people are slow), he looped the song without a hitch and no one noticed, so we completed the game and everybody had a great time.
He followed all our instructions but knew what to do to keep the crowd hype and make the evening fun (including playing a song request one of my friends requested as a prank... It was a very funny moment so I'm glad he went along with it!)
He worked hard to get everyone's names right, which we very much appreciated. He was on time and knew how to coordinate with the videographer to make special moments, like our Big Exit.
Toast obviously has a great process set up, and our DJ was clearly experienced. They were easy to work with throughout the process, from the start to the very end. Highly recommend!Toast Entertainment's reply:

DJ Chris from ToastSA Concierge truly delivered a fantastic show for our wedding! From the very beginning, they provided us with a user-friendly website to complete our music list and add any other special requests, which made the planning process a breeze.
One of the highlights was that I recorded a special message for my husband, and Chris kept it a secret until the perfect moment to play it. It was such a touching surprise, and it added a personal touch to our celebration.
Chris was incredibly accommodating, flexibly following our schedule and adjustments throughout the event. He was even well-prepared for unexpected situations; we lost power in the complex a few hours before the ceremony, but Chris handled it like a pro, ensuring the music continued without a hitch.

DJ Vance was so great in maintaining a lively dance floor and creating smooth transitions throughout the wedding. We had a rain delay so the timelime was pushed back but you would not have been able to tell with how smooth everything went. DJ Vance also gave such great feeback and ideas during the planning stage of playlists and songs that was helpful. Toast Entertainment’s method of preparation is very detailed and covers everything. From start to finish, working with Toast was unbelievably smooth! Our DJ said it best: "Toast has it down to a science." My husband and I love music so we had a LOT of opinions on what kind of music we wanted to play for our wedding, and Toast was able to accommodate everything. Their online portal makes it so easy to import songs from Spotify and make selections for special songs for specific moments.
Our DJ Horace did a phenomenal job! From the moment he arrived, he brought a friendly, bright energy that inspired so much confidence. Horace followed our requests to a T and stuck to our playlists which was so important to us. The ceremony audio quality was on point, and all the songs were played at the perfect time. Our grand entrance song was "At Last" by Etta James, and Horace timed it perfectly so that the few seconds we were walking in, the lyrics "At last...my love has come along" were playing rather than the 0:00 start of the song (I forgot to ask for that!). Expertly handled.

One of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding!
Booking Toast Entertainment for our DJ and photo booth package was hands down one of the best choices we made. From start to finish, everything was seamless and beyond expectations.
Reno, our DJ, was an absolute rockstar. He handled both our wedding reception and the day-after boat party, and let me tell you—he nailed it. The equipment setup was top-notch with ample speakers, lights, and microphones. Reno followed our playlist perfectly, read the room like a pro, and had our guests on the dance floor all night. He really listened during our intake call and delivered on some very unique requests, which meant a lot to us.
We even had a looming chance of rain for the boat party, and Reno handled the situation like a true champ. He overcommunicated with us and brought so much peace of mind in the midst of weather worries—exactly what you need during a potentially stressful situation.
As for the photo booth—it was such a hit! Our guests loved it, and the attendant was professional, friendly, and on top of everything. Great props, smooth setup, and awesome memories captured.
Truly, Toast Entertainment exceeded all expectations. The team was professional, personable, and just got it. I’d recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or event. You’d be crazy not to hire them. Worth every single penny.

The best hands down from the music, sparkle cloud, and the Photo Booth! Dj Vance was communicative and helpful through the entire process. He made sure to keep me on schedule when it came time to send all of the required information and helped me get the perfect moment for my husband and I during our first and last dance. He understood how I wanted the aura to feel on the dance floor and checked in with me to make sure we were on time for the events. The music was as we requested but I also made sure to tell him to be creative which is exactly what he did! As well as the photo booth that Emma was in charge of and I couldn’t thank her enough for being very professional and helpful. Our DJ and MC was Issiah and he was so fun! The team was flexible in helping us increase our package choice at the last minute. Day of, Isaiah checked in with us and made sure everything ran smoothly. There was never an unplanned lull in music, he used a ton of our requested songs, and helped in making sure the grooms father could sing our first dance with the perfectly tuned background music. We had a fantastic experience with Toast Entertainment! They came HIGHLY recommended by our wedding coordinator as the most affordable, professional, and high-quality vendor for a wedding DJ. We decided to also book their photo booth services, which came with a discounted bundle rate. The booking process was easy, and we were given a contact with their concierge service. The Toast Concierge service made every step of planning so easy! Communication was fantastic and faster than expected. Our DJ, Robbie reached out to get our preferences about one month out. Our conversation with Robbie made us confident that the playlist would be exactly what we hoped for. Our day-of experience couldn’t have been better. Robbie was truly amazing, and our guests came to us with compliments of his skills and playlist all night. Steve was our fantastic photo booth operator and he somehow managed to keep up with the wild guests and props all night. I have nothing but the best compliments for our DJ, VanRod.
Our officiant was mic'd up in plenty of time and as far as I know there were no issues with any of the ceremony music or sound. Everything was as expected during the cocktail hour and the music, toasts and first dance during dinner went smoothly. Where Vanrod really shines is during the reception. We had a few things planned, such as some must play songs and the anniversary dance. I had requested that he put a bit of a different spin on the anniversary dance. We started from the most recent couple (Bride and Groom) and went up from there to the longest married couple, and he was very gracious in running it in a way that's different from the way he's done it in the past. It was extra beneficial to get everyone on the dance floor!
He also was very perceptive when my husband decided to make an impromptu additional announcement to thank my mom and to acknowledge my dad who had passed away 5 years ago. I had a song on the must play list that I mentioned in the planning docs and during our initial meeting, was a wedding tradition on my dad's side. We had not discussed when that song should play at all, but the decision to play it immediately after Kevin's announcement to acknowledge my dad was more perfect than I could ever imagine. That was a very magical and cathartic moment for my dad's siblings, and I will be forever grateful to Vanrod for making that decision, whether he knew the weight of it or not.
The other very perceptive thing Vanrod did was adjust the timing of our little chunk of "emo" music. We originally planned on playing those few songs at the end, but he moved it up a little bit and it was a huge hit. He was excellent at reading the room and played more of the music that people seemed to respond well to.
Vanrod did such an amazing job that I literally did not leave the dance floor all night. If you want your wedding to be a party, request DJ Vanrod.

DJ Bryce kept the dance floor rocking
Bryce at Toast Entertainment did the ceremony audio and DJ'd our wedding. We had a call the week of the wedding to make sure all of the music we wanted to hear was able to played. We had some less common instrumental music for the ceremony, as well as a Hindi song for our first dance - Bryce made it all happen.
Our ceremony site was outdoors; Bryce brought all of the equipment he needed to make sure everyone could hear things clearly.
Our coordinator shared a day-of timeline with Bryce before the event, but on the wedding day Bryce was super accommodating and able to make adjustments when we moved some of the bouquet toss and cake cutting times around.Toast Entertainment's reply:

From the jump, our experience with TOAST was top-shelf. Their interest in our needs and desires was so encouraging that we stopped shopping DJs after consulting with them. Pre-booking communication was clear and friendly and they were quick and receptive as we contacted them with follow-up questions.
As soon as we signed with them, they gave us clear guidance for everything we needed to do, with timelines and deadlines plainly laid out; I don’t need to tell anyone who’s planned/planning a wedding what a big help that is.
Even more impressive is how intuitive and user-friendly their digital tools are; we were able to work out all the details for songs, playlists, genres, etc., on their website— everything, down to the minute. They have an AWESOME system, which made it a lot of fun for my wife and I to map things out and focus on the music and tone we wanted to set. Once we realized that this process was tailored to our ease of use, we were free to enjoy planning our ceremony and reception.
What’s more, we had several special requests, some of which we weren’t able to nail down until two days before the wedding, and despite that, our DJ Anthony Brinson was in constant contact with us and assured us that everything would be as we wanted it—and most importantly, it WAS.
Anthony nailed every request and detail we asked for and was a total pleasure to work with. Everyone had a wonderful time and we feel like we gave all of our guests a joyful memory they’ll have for the rest of their lives.
This was a first-class experience start to finish, and I will happily recommend TOAST and Anthony Brinson to anyone we know who needs a professional, personalized DJ/music experience for any event.

We booked a Day of Coordinator for our wedding day through Toast Entertainment. Our first consultation call with Brittany was right as the stress of wedding planning was peaking, and as soon as we spoke with her, I instantly felt better. She was so personable, reassuring, and clearly wanted to be a helping hand on what can be a very hectic day! She posed questions to us on things I otherwise would have only realized at the last minute, which gave us time to think and sort out our plans. Brittany came with us on a venue tour, offered helpful advice, asked questions we would have missed, and coordinated with all of our vendors. Our day went perfectly and it is without a doubt because of Brittany! Anytime we needed her for anything she was right there, and often times she had already taken care of what we were about to ask! We are so grateful for her and cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us leading up to and on our wedding day. We didn't have to worry about anything. She thought of literally everything, things we never would have, and every detail she catered to made our day that much more smooth and perfect! If you aren’t sure about hiring a Day of Coordinator, DO IT. My wedding flowed so smoothly with Horace as our DJ and Jessica as our Photo Booth operator. Horace played all of the songs we love and kept the party going. The Toast Entertainment team was great to work with for my wedding! They were extremely communicative and made sure we had the best package for our overall vibe. Vance created the perfect mashup for my dance with my mom and communicated to make sure we had everything we wanted. Isaiah was AMAZING as our DJ!! He kept the crowd dancing and made sure we had time to eat and drink before we greeted people. He also had a great personality and put us at ease during our pre-event meeting. I couldn't have asked for a better host for our night. Our guests also loved the photobooth and all of the fun props available. Much thanks to DJ Bryce H for bringing the vibes to our wedding last Saturday (October 21). Bryce was personable and so easy going to work with. He was a great MC and DJ during our reception, kept everyone on the dance floor — both the younger crowd and older generation! He clarified the details and notes on the planning form. It was not a mistake for us to give him full creative reins on our song choices because he did so well! He and our planners worked well and seamlessly together during the entirety of the day. We loved that he started off with greatest hits between the 70s-early 2000s decades which meant our older guests were able to get their feet on the dance floor. Looking back at the videos and photos of our reception, there were empty seats and a full dance floor! It was the party of our dreams. Thank you, Bryce!
Toast Entertainment and their concierge team made everything so seamless! Everything was streamlined with their client portal. Their packages were reasonably priced and there was no hassle when it came to payment. Our questions were answered promptly from the inquiry up to the very last second of our planning. The team was professional and courteous when addressing questions. The planning form both for the DJ and the music were so easy to navigate. Toast Entertainment was a great choice for our wedding. We selected a package option that included the DJ and Photo Booth. DJ Ian and Photo Booth Operator Diana from Toast Entertainment were excellent! We appreciated that Diana had the presence of mind to snag us for our own moment at the photo booth, and Ian kept the party going all night. He had a great selection of music. I also was happy with the sound system for the ceremony. All of the guests could hear us speaking and the intro music was played at an appropriate volume.
