Wonderful, friendly and professional

Chelsea our DJ did a wonderful job listening to our music needs. She was professional and friendly throughout the whole process. She also kept the party going!

Really great experience

We worked with Chelsea, the Manager and a DJ. She was responsive, enthusiastic, and a great listener in every interaction we had with her. We felt really confident going into our wedding day, and Chelsea didn't disappoint! She brought great energy into our wedding and kept our guests on the dance floor the whole time. We're so grateful to her, and look forward to attending another wedding later this year with TJ Monte Productions as the DJ!

If you haven't booked them already, you need to!

Six years ago I was in my best friends wedding & still to this day remember how awesome her DJ ( Chelsea Dobija ) was. So naturally when it came time for my own wedding, there was no question, we wanted Chelsea! She was so amazing!! We could not have been happier with her, everyone LOVED the music! On top of that, we were having trouble pin pointing our time line for the evening & Chelsea was so helpful! She managed to fit us in for a last minute consultation with her before our big day & really helped us nail down our time line. When we relayed the timeline she suggested to our photogrophers/videographers, they said it was perfect. She was so friendly & easy going & was really great to work with. As if all of that was not enough, Chelsea still continued to go above and beyond... the friend whose wedding I was in six years ago was one of my bridesmaids & the day before our wedding was actually her & her husbands 6 year anniversary so they had postponed celebrating so that they could help us set up & be with us on our special day. Without even having to tell Chelsea this, she remembered!! Not only did she remember but she gave them a special shout out & played their first dance song for them at our reception!! That alone tells me, when you go with TJ Monte Productions, you aren't just getting a DJ, you're getting a DJ that really cares & doesn't think of your wedding as just another job. Chelsea puts her heart into what she does & it completely shows. So having been both, a guest to an event she DJ'd & a bride whose wedding she DJ'd, I cannot recommend her enough!! Thank you so much Chelsea! Our wedding would not have been what it was without you!!!

Simply Outstanding

Tim was hands down the Best DJ we've ever experienced. He takes pride in what he does and strives to make sure that all your wishes are fulfilled and then some! There was not one moment that our dance floor was empty! I would highly recommend him and his company to anyone looking for a spectacular experience whether it be your wedding, graduation, or just any event you want to be up and on your feet!!

TJ Monte Productions Saved the Day!!!

Chelsea at TJ Monte Productions saved the day! Not only did she drive all the way to Cleveland with less than two days notice, but she made our daughters day so much fun! The scheduled DJ cancelled Thursday night and we were in a panic mode. Alex remembered her childhood friend Chelsea is a DJ and thought maybe she had a connection in Cleveland so contacted her. Chelsea did one better and drove to Cleveland herself, honoring all of the requests made to the original DJ. Chelsea@TJMonteProductions is AMAZING!

Saved our wedding!!!

Hi!!! We got married last night in Cleveland Ohio and had a DJ scheduled for a year. He backed out without explanation Thursday night at 10 pm and we were freaking out that our reception would be boring and people wouldn’t enjoy themselves nearly as much as we hoped. My younger sister/maid of honor has known Chelsea dobija for years and messaged her asking for help right away. Within 30 minutes of us getting the cancellation email Chelsea emailed me offering her help. We asked her to help us just based on the fact that shes known my sister for so long. We couldn’t be happier with her. From the ceremony to the reception everything was perfect! she was interactive with the guests and played excellent music. She communicated well with us and our guests and the dance floor was packed until the very last song. Because of her we’re actually glad the original DJ canceled because I do t think he would’ve done nearly as good of a job as she did!!! Thank you the the company and to Chelsea for making our wedding the best day of our lives and for helping us have the best party❤️❤️❤️ We couldn’t thank either of you enough!!!!

Wow is all I have to say. DJ Chelsea was AMAZING! We got so many compliments after our wedding about how great our DJ was and how she wasn't trying to steal the show, but still super attentive to us. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Chelsea, she had the BEST attitude all night and was seriously so great.

I can't even express my gratitude-- we were told that they would be filming the reception for a promotional video, and about two weeks later-- we received an amazing wedding video that we totally weren't expecting. It was SO great and I can't thank everyone enough for it! If you're trying to decide on a DJ-- you can't go wrong here!

We had DJ Mark provide the music for our wedding reception. The company was very easy to work with and provided a detailed questionnaire for us to fill out so they knew exactly what we wanted. They also called us a few days before the wedding to confirm everything, which was nice. Our guests really enjoyed the variety of music played and he was able to keep people on the dance floor all night long. We even received compliments from many guests that our dance floor was the fullest they had ever seen at a wedding before! We would definitely recommend TJ Monte Productions for any couple looking for a DJ for their wedding!

The Dj we had for the wedding was amazing and did a great job keeping people on the dance floor. We had a great time at our wedding and we couldn't have asked for more.

He was amazing. We got alot of people on the dance floor. He made sure that everything was situated and was scheduled accordingly. We had a blast with him. And he made sure things were okay with us before playing.

We researched DJ's for our wedding reception via the Internet and Wedding Wire. We chose TJ Monte Productions as one of our choices, because of their website, reputation, and reviews. Chelsea contacted us, some online and telephone interaction, met once to check out their info. I got a great feeling meeting Chelsea, but checked out other DJ's. Chelsea just seemed different- personable, warm, friendly, great smile, sincere, knowledgeable, and interested in our day and wedding. We met with her again and BOOKED that day. Just felt comfortable and wouldn't want anyone else. We remained in contact periodically. Chelsea knew we were excited and mirrored our feelings in her contacts. About a month before the wedding- we met with Chelsea for final consultation and reception planning. Chelsea was smiling and said...I have some news. I am going to be your DJ for your wedding, we said you just MADE OUR Wedding day! Chelsea made suggestions, reviewed our 6 page reception planner, and we finalized our wedding day plans. What a great feeling getting out of the Limo at Lakeland Manor to be greeted by Chelsea, with her smile, Hugs, and Congratulations. Reception went as planned, Chelsea took charge on our reception as we discussed. DJ, Host, asked our feelings that night, THEN, carried it out! We received many compliments about the DJ(Chelsea) and the music that night. I have worked in the wedding industry for over 10 years, I know what great service is. Chelsea knows and delivered OUTSTANDING service! We didn't feel like we had a DJ playing music at our wedding...We felt like a friend was playing music at our wedding!!! We had Robby Rob- He was the best. There wasnt a MINUTE the dance floor wasnt packed. I have heard how much fun my wedding was. I get super pumped when I hear how other weddings needed snowball dances and other attempts to get people moving- and Im so glad I didnt need that Thanks to him!

I am very pleased with TJ Monte Productions! Their photo booth was amazing and a ton of fun. Our wedding guests enjoyed it. Chelsea was an awesome attendant. I would highly recommend them!

I used TJ Monte productions as my DJ, photobooth, AND uplighting. They were extremely flexible with prices, and Chelsea was SO kind to work with. I was skeptical at first, as we were told Tim would be our DJ, then Jon, THEN in the end it was Chelsea who was our DJ. BUT, that being said, Chelsea was fabulous! Everyone was on the dance floor, and she listened to exactly what we asked her to play, and I haven't received any complaints. The photobooth attendants were also SO awesome...I just loved all three of the ladies that were at our event. THey were so personable, and made jokes, took photos, and really made our event special :-) I felt like I made three new friends after our wedding, haha! I feel bad even mentioning this, because it was NOT a big deal...but it's more for constructive criticism for the company: the photobooth itself was a LITTLE slow to take pictures (I just think maybe it was a slightly lower quality than competitors?) so in a lot of the photobooth pictures, there's at least one that's blurry because someone moved before the picture was taken (again, just because the camera took a long time to take the picture). Please please please, realize that this is NOT a big deal, and it's something they can probably easily correct. Working with these people was a dream...I have a day worth of about 22 emails that Chelsea just kept going back and forth with me and answering all of my questions. She's so patient and kind, I can't rave enough about what great people this company has :-) Highly recommend them!

Chelsea was my DJ and I was absolutely thrilled with the service she provided. Chelsea was very quick to response to my emails. I made multiple changed and she got every detail correct the day of my wedding. She makes an effort to get to know her clients and their music preferences. She helped make our wedding day run smoothly.

They sent their BEST DJ, Chelsea, to service our wedding. She was on-time, professional, etc. She made sure that all the music was right and that the entrances were right on time. Enjoyed her getting out and being able to have fun dancing at the wedding reception with us. Could not have asked for a better DJ for our special day! :)

TJ MONTE WAS AWESOME!!!!! Chelsea was my DJ and I loved her. She was unique and played everything we liked. She was almost like family to us as we kept in so much contact with her. We knew when we met her at the bridal show that we wanted her! Tim is doing a great job with his DJs. We met all of them and loved everyone of them. TJ Monte Productions is simply the best!!!

I would have to say that this is the best DJ we could have asked for. HE knew my brother in law, so he gave us a good price, and played great music. I never once had to ask him to play something else. He had us fill out information of all the songs that we wanted for each event (like cake cutting, garter, bouquet, first dance, wedding party dance and such). Just from our choices, think he got a feel for us and knew exactly what to play. I would recommend this DJ to anyone that asked. I have been in several friends weddings, and they all complained about their DJ. I am just happy that I can rave about mine!

Molly, are you serious? I don't know what I did for you to write bogus remarks about my service but I'm very unhappy with your comments. You and Carl told me at the end of the night "Thank You and Great Job" I would appreciate if you removed your comments, your making me out to be a bad DJ, I really don't think that is fair. As you recall you provided a disc of music you wanted played, that's what I used. You also failed to mention the huge discount I gave you, because of your brother-in-law.

Tim personally handled our wedding video and assisted his employee with Dj'ing when the video portion was complete. We were married on a dock and our reception was on a boat. (not your typical church/hall type wedding.) Tim met with us to review times, schedules, music and family announcements. On top of that, Tim scouted our wedding/reception location for the best video shots and where the equipment should be set up. As far as I'm concerned, well beyond what was necessary. Most vendors just "show up" and figure it out from there. Tim is extremely talented and can "read" what your guests are responding to, but always keeping the bride/groom's request in mind. TJ Monte has always been professional and willing to work with your needs. I have personally recommended him to several friends. Not one was disappointed..

TJ Monte absolutely made our wedding the best! A DJ can make or break a reception, and Tim had everyone dancing all night long. People complimented us on having the most fun at our wedding. He played requests, and exactly what the bride and groom wanted.

Absolutely perfect! Completely professional during all the planning and especially on our big day. Tim did our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception music throughout all the rooms and terrace of Henry Ford Estate. He even did up lighting, making it even more amazing! The music catered to all our guests and got everyone up and dancing. Highly recommended!!!!

DJ John was absolutely amazing he had all of our guests on their feet all night!!! Not only did he do an amazing job he played music that fit our wedding style. John and Chelsea provided our uplighting and turned our ballrooms into a winter wonderland.

I haven't had much expierence with DJ's in the past but I have nothing bad to say about this DJ service. They had people dancing all night and made the music tie in with the festivites.

TJ Monte was a great choice for DJ services for my wedding day. Chelsea was the DJ I requested for the special day and she paid close attention to detail, was very friendly and accommodating. She did ask some questions that were indicated on the form filled out previous to the wedding day, but reporting that she wanted to ensure there were no changes. They are a preferred vendor at Crystal Gardens, which is where we married. I could critique that I requested no unnatural lighting for the evening, and there was uplighting and flashing lights. Somehow this was miscommunicated between Crystal Gardens, TJ Monte and myself. Chelsea was good at taking requests and not allowing guests to take over the mic without my permission, which I appreciated greatly! Overall, the music was hopping and we all had a great time. Thank-you for helping make our special day the BEST one yet :)

I read many reviews about TJ Monte and saw the same thing repeatedly - great DJ, but not super responsive. I figured that we were not too demanding so no worries! We selected TJ Monte for DJ and photobooth. Everything was perfect and fine until we decided last minute to have a DJ for our ceremony. We couldn't get a return call to confirm that they would also do the ceremony! I was freaking out until two days before the ceremony when we got the call confirming they would be there. The day of the event, they were there and were completely awesome and professional. So, overall I would recommend them, but just remind you to be patient and not worry if you don't get a call back!!! With respect to our photobooth: It was fun (a big hit with the crowd), but my personal complaints were that the room was cramped, the photos weren't very clear (and kind of far away looking), and the directions on the room didn't really tell you where to look for the camera (everyone looked up at the screen rather than at the camera below). Still worth the purchase, but wish they could fix those things!

Mark was our DJ and kept the dance floor packed! He was great to work with and everyone had a great time! I had e-mailed back and forth with Tim in the months leading up to the wedding but it wasn't until the week of the wedding that I actually got a call from them. They played songs from the playlist I sent them and threw in some popular music to keep the energy of the room moving. I would highly recommend TJ Monte and Mark for your next event!

I was paired up with this vendor from a friend at work. She had just used their service for her wedding, and I was attracted to the amount of services they could offer as a package.

I met with TJ in December for my September wedding. We met at Crystal Gardens, which is a venue he does a lot of DJ work for. Since I'm from downriver originally, heading down that way to meet was not an issue. He was very friendly, and I was very happy with the package that was put together.

I booked a DJ, photobooth, uplighting, and a monogram.

I would say the only issue I had was with communication. Sometimes it would take quite a while to hear back from their company. If you are looking for someone to respond within 24 hours, this may not necessarily be the best bet.

However, the day of the wedding went well. The uplighting and monogram looked great, the photobooth was a hit, and the DJ played the music that we had specified during dinner, etc.

I would recommend this establishment to someone looking for a good deal on many services.

The DJ is probably the most important part at a reception! We did not go wrong with our choice. TJ Monte made this part of planning pretty simple. They provided us with sheets to fill out so they had all the necessary information going into the reception. Chelsea was our DJ, she was great. You can really tell that she loves and knows what she is doing. Everyone was dancing all night long. We had a blast. I have already had people ask me for TJ Monte's contact information.

We used this vendor for their up lighting and photobooth services. We were very pleased with the lighting and made our venue look amazing!! They were also flexible and let us use two different colors.

Our photobooth girl was very nice and made our album look great with the touches she added to it. However, I was not as impressed with the quality of the booth and pictures themselves. I had seen better quality ones however it still did the trick and people still had fun.

The DJ's provided were very nice and personable. They were not very professional. In our contract and discussion, we were told that T.J Monte Productions would provide dance floor lighting. The day of our wedding the DJ's showed up without the lighting. When my husband asked about the dance floor lighting, one DJ responded with there was a lot of events that day and we were left without any dance floor lighting for our wedding.
After the fact, we explained the situation to the office manager, Chelsea, at T.J Monte Productions. Chelsea brushed it off as a "miscommunication" and responded with, "There must have been a miscommunication with one of the members who loaded the trucks as I had set out a light for your dance floor. I do apologize for the mishap and I hope everything else went well. From the videos, it looked as everyone had a great time!!

It is unlikely we will keep them in mind, nor recommend them for future events, seeing we paid $1000 for DJ services for our biggest event, and they did not hold their end of the contract by providing the lighting we were promised. Along with not having the lighting, the DJ's messed up the introductions of our bridal party and did not have the right music for our ceremony. Through our ceremony movie quotes started playing during a processional song, as if they did not preview the music before our big day. Luckily, the lighting and few mishaps did not ruin our night. Our wedding turned out beautiful. The DJ's were fun, they were just not very professional and they were unprepared.
By contacting TJ Monte Productions before giving this review, we were hoping that gave the opportunity for them to make it right; at least by refunding us what they charged us for the lighting in our package that we purchased. Instead they simply apologized and asked for us to consider them in the future.

AWFUL!! They never got back to me after I left 3 messages and I had to have the venue contact them and make sure they were still coming to play at my wedding at all!! Then when they were there they never even bothered to play any of our favorite bands. They played rap for most of the night when on our form I had said that I didnt want that kind of music played! AND THEY QUIT HALF AN HOUR EARLY!!!! WORST DJ EVER!
