  Working with Tin Can was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding!

  Wow, I don’t even know where to begin with Tin Can studios. We worked with them for two wedding events (a small ceremony/dinner as well as a large party a day later) and they did such an incredible job on both. They managed to make them feel different but also cohesive, which was a really impressive feat! Ingrid was also a mind reader. My husband and I didn’t have a real vision or know exactly what we wanted, and she and her team still managed to work magic. From the beautiful wedding arch to the stunning tables to a truly breathtaking floral arrangement on the ceiling of our venue, every detail was designed and executed to perfection.
  
  Beyond how beautiful everything turned out, the Tin Can team was a dream to work with. From planning to day-of execution, they were professional, kind, understanding, and just wonderful. I really feel so lucky they were a part of my wedding day!

  The best of the best

  Ingrid and her team made our wedding an absolute dream. I could not even believe how beautiful the flowers were all weekend. They took everything that I said I wanted, and then made it even better. I cannot describe the feeling that I had walking into our reception venue and seeing the incredible install that they did. It was beyond anything I could have imagined. Thank you to Ingrid, Brooke, and the entire team for making our wedding so beautiful. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

  Floral Magic

  Ingrid and her team are true floral magicians!
  Our wedding was held in an empty, industrial, warehouse space which they took it by storm and created a floral wonderland that far exceeded any of our expectations! We were just floored. They transformed a cavernous space into a room brimming with abundance, beauty, and whimsy. They deisgined a hanging canopy of lush greeens, covered our tables with beutiful arrangements of greenery, plants and unqiue flowers, and filled the space with candles. It was just breathtaking.
  And not only was the presentation more than we could have hoped for but working with them to conceptualize the design was the most seamless, stress-free experience. They were attentive to my directives, worked closely with me on the design, presented all options and selections on time and were extremely thoughtful the budget. Ingrid is a true professional. I felt 100 % confident every step of the way and never worried about their management or delivery.
  If you're looking for a florist with a vision, true creativity, and expertise I could not recommend them more highly!

  Ingrid and her team were amazing creative partners for our wedding--full of expertise and insight in the world of flowers and event design, but also super-receptive to feedback on palette and feeling. The sight of the cascading floral "gate" they created for our reception venue, filled with romantic greenery and real passionflowers, was something we will never forget. Coordination and communication were thorough and detail-oriented, and I just wish I could keep working with them to keep creating more of the floral arrangements of my dreams!

  I could not of been happier with Ingrid at Tin Can Studios, she's truly a joy and a beautiful artist to work with. She's very passionate and genuine about what she creates and her creativity made my wedding exactly what my husband and I wanted, something original and unique. It was a blast to visit her studio and collaborate on designs and colors. Ingrid has amazing ideas and she blew me away! I still remember the moment I walked in to my wedding and saw her gorgeous hanging floral chandelier over my bridal table, it was so stunning, I couldn't help the tears. If you're after a florist that has a distinct style and goes above and beyond, Ingrid is your woman! You'll be lucky to have her!

After that day I knew that style was what I wanted, but none of the florists I had spoken with could match it. To my surprise and joy I realized that Ingrid was based in New York, so I could go directly to the source of inspiration. Working with Ingrid was so easy, she knew exactly what we were looking for after talking through the options. On our wedding day, my husband and I were both in awe of her arrangements as we stepped into our venue for the first time. She turned my wedding dream into realty. If you are looking for a florist right now, I can't recommend TinCan Studios enough -- Ingrid is amazing!!!!

  A guest at our wedding insisted that the flowers were too beautiful to be real; only touching the flowers persuaded her otherwise. That may say a lot about our guest, but it also says a lot about Ingrid's talent and the quality of the material she works with. More than one person told us that our flowers--the tabletop arrangements, the bouquets and boutonnieres, the canopy we stood under--were the most beautiful they'd seen at a wedding. For distinctive, gorgeous flowers and a staff that will respond to your concerns and offer you something even more beautiful than you imagined, I recommend Tin Can Studios.

  I loved working with Tin Can Studios for my wedding! I went to Ingrid with some basic ideas of what I wanted, and she created centerpieces and bouquets that I never could have imagined.   Ingrid is exactly who you want to help you imagine the most beautiful floral décor. I look at my pictures now and am still amazed by how beautiful everything looked. The colors and types of flowers evoked the exact romantic and flirty summer night feeling I was hoping for. I can’t thank Ingrid and her team enough for all of their efforts and creativity they put forth to make our wedding dreams come true. And then at the end of the night they took down our larger arrangements and made them into party favors for everyone as well as donating the remaining flowers; it helped knowing that someone would still be enjoying these arrangements for days to come. Everyone was so easy to work with and our personalities just worked so well together. Thank you to everyone on the Tin Can Studios team for helping make our wedding one of the most beautiful nights EVER!

  Her team are hand-selected by her to complement whatever event she is working on. They are not only talented, but incredibly hard working, creative and as polite and warm as Ingrid herself.
  
  The flowers themselves? Go to the website, look for yourself. They are incredible. Ingrid has exceptional taste and that extends to all her arrangements and events. She sources everything fresh, a lot of locally sourced stems, and best of all, she often scavenges to find the most beautiful vases and decorative elements. And she makes her own wedding furniture to deck out your wedding in true style!

  I submitted an inquiry on her website and she immediately followed up with a phone call. We had a wonderful conversation after I inquired about her availability. The following week, my fiance and I met with her at her Red Hook studio, where we went through the plan for our wedding and her proposal. She stuck to our budget and gave us everything we wanted. She then came to our venue several times for walk-throughs with me and our wedding coordinator.
  
  Her vision for the space was exactly what I wanted, and her aesthetic is so beautiful and perfect for a modern yet pretty and classic wedding. We gave her the flexibility to focus on in-season flowers, but within our color scheme. She sources beautiful and unique local flowers in season. She was so unlike other florists I interviewed since she really listened to what I like and don't like, so I got exactly what I wanted without having to tell her every single detail. Honestly the best vendor choice we made in the whole wedding process! I have recommended her to all of my engaged friends and I would not hesitate to use her again for another event!

  We hired Ingrid to be the florist for our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. We couldn't be happier with our decision.
  
  Ingrid met with us several times and was able to turn our vague ideas into beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding. We gave Ingrid a lot of discretion as to the types of flowers used in the arrangements - essentially we told her to use whatever she thought was fresh at the market and was consistent with the color palate that she helped us develop. Ingrid did an excellent job selecting beautiful, locally grown flowers that looked luxurious and fit within our budget. We received many compliments from our guests on how wonderful the flowers looked at our wedding.
  
  Ingrid is also fun to work with. She is high spirited, creative, detail oriented, professional, and responsive. She appreciated that our wedding was important to us and made us feel as though it was just as important to her. We recommend her highly and would happily work with her again.

  I'll be the first to admit it -- I was not the easiest client! I changed my mind many times through the planning process. However, Ashley and Ingrid were patient fielding my many questions before booking and throughout rounds of presentations. Ingrid truly wanted me to be happy with the final product. In particular, she knew how important my flower crown was, so she made me various samples leading up to the event. I knew the flowers would be stunning, but I was floored at how gorgeous they were. TCS totally nailed it! My guests gushed over the flowers and were so excited to take arrangements home. The only thing I'd say is that because they're very busy (especially with event and weekly clients), they can sometimes be slow to respond -- I felt like I sometimes had to chase them down for responses, and it usually took a week or more for them to respond to presentation changes, which brought us down to the wire for ordering flowers, despite starting the planning process more than 2 months before the wedding. That probably wouldn't have been an issue if I was a bit more sure of what I wanted, but it's something that should be noted. In the end, we were so pleased with our flowers! Ingrid is a true artist!

  I'll be the first to admit it -- I was not the easiest client! I changed my mind many times through the planning process. However, Ashley and Ingrid were patient fielding my many questions before booking and throughout rounds of presentations. Ingrid truly wanted me to be happy with the final product. In particular, she knew how important my flower crown was, so she made me various samples leading up to the event. I knew the flowers would be stunning, but I was floored at how gorgeous they were. TCS totally nailed it! My guests gushed over the flowers and were so excited to take arrangements home.
