    Working with Genevieve is AMAZING

    From start to finish Genevieve made the planning process and my big day SO relaxed. She was so ahead of the game and was able to take an immense amount of pressure off of me! She made my day flow so smoothly. Genevieve has such a calming energy as well, which is so essential on a stressful day like your wedding. I HIGHLY recommend her to any bride looking to have the perfect day!

    Hiring Genevieve as our wedding planner was easily the best decision we made (outside of saying “I Do”) for our wedding weekend! I don’t know if I’ve ever met someone so well-suited to be a wedding planner (and I’ve met many wedding planners)! I am still amazed that Genevieve not only managed to keep all the details of our wedding weekend straight, but that she went above and beyond with every detail. Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect thanks to her, her husband Kris (our bartender extraordinaire), and their various employees. Bozeman was a “destination,” so we hired Time of Your Life Events for our welcome dinner and wedding, and the details, timing, communication, etc. were all seamless. Genevieve represents a rare blend of someone who is extremely competent, and efficient yet laid back and reassuring. She has done a wonderful job establishing herself in the Bozeman community, and her experience is evident in the strong relationships/respect she has cultivated with all the wedding vendors, and also the truly exceptional events that TOYLB puts on. Thank you for allowing us to have “The Time of Our Lives!” on 8.18.18!

    Genevieve and her staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day the best day of our lives. Throughout the entire process, Genevieve was professional, organized and always on top of it. She gave us excellent advice and recommendations we could trust. The planning, days leading up to the wedding, the wedding day and days after were stress free because we had Genevieve's guidance and help. Genevieve thought of absolutely every detail, always communicated promptly and effectively, and did everything possible to make sure that our day went perfectly. My husband and I, our families, our wedding party and our guests had an absolute blast and we owe that to Genevieve and her amazing staff. I couldn't imagine our wedding without her. We cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and dedication. We would 100% recommend Genevieve's services to any future bride and groom.

    Genevieve simply killed it! She helped us a ton with our wedding at Big Sky Resort. We live in Los Angeles and we really needed help to put vendors together, recommendations, all that. Genevieve was on point with phone calls, to do lists, things to think about and consider. Day of the event, there by our side running the show like a boss! Thank you once again Genevieve for helping Liz and I tie the knot and be in good hands.

    Genevieve was absolute perfection. From our first meeting through the day of the wedding, she was always available to answer questions. We were planning from afar but I knew I had a Bozeman expert on hand. Genevieve went out of her way to show us what she had on hand before we spent money on decor. I can't say enough about the level of service and her overall positive attitude, even when her entire van was filled with our centerpieces. She's a total straight-shooter, doesn't nickel and dime, and made my wedding day entirely worry free.

    If I were giving advice to anyone planning a wedding, I would say that hiring someone for day of the wedding tasks is a must and that Genevieve is the person you want to do that job for you. She was an amazing resource for planning before the wedding, advising us about vendors and answering our questions, and had our complete trust. We had a caterer who was known for his great food but who was not very responsive to our questions. Genevieve had worked with him in the past and assured us all would be well - and it was. Someone asked me if we had any day of the wedding crises and I said, "no." However, I realize that if there were some, Genevieve handled them. I had such trust in Genevieve that when I left home to go to the wedding site, I was anxiety-free - not a common state for me. We had a wonderful joyful wedding and I attribute much of its success to Genevieve.

    Exceptional people! Our event coordinator saved the day by obtaining a generator when all the power went out at our venue! We could not have moved forward without it! Very helpful, professional, reliable. Highly recommended.

    Honestly, these event planner deserve 10 stars. I was coordinating my niece's wedding from out of state and thankfully, found Genevieve Burmeister and her assistant, Madison. Even though they were stepping in at the last minute for Day Of coordination, Genevieve took the time to walk through our plans to assure every need was covered. She and Madison attended our rehearsal and coordinated the ceremony for us. Madison also stepped in last minute the morning of and saved us working as a fabulous flower arranging and designer. They are fabulous and my only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.

    Genvieve's work made our daughter's wedding the beautiful and special day that we had dreamed of. We hired her about six weeks before the wedding and she provided great recommendations and coordinated all of the vendors with professionalism and joy. She worked hard the day of the wedding so we had time with our daughter and could enjoy the entire event. I only wish that we would have worked with her from the beginning as she saved time and money and made sure that everything came off perfectly. I highly recommend Genevieve and wish you well with your wedding.

    Genevieve was a lifesaver!! Not only was she able to communicate with our vendors, she found a mistake on one of our contracts and saved us about $1000! She went above and beyond, even when we had to redo our rental order and find a new caterer with only 2 weeks until our wedding! She is the best and totally saved us a ton of time, money and most importantly stress!

    Genevieve was professional, friendly, creative, and a joy to work with. I am the mother of the bride, who lives 250 miles from the wedding site. My daughter was in her first year of medical school when she got engaged. It was her idea to get a wedding planner....and I am SO grateful that she did. Genevieve kept the bride on track by setting up appointments, recommending vendors in the area, working with the staff at the event venue, and getting the "day of" decorating done. Genevieve with us the entire day of the wedding. She kept everything on schedule, took care of any last minute emergencies, and made sure nothing was missed during the reception. That gave the parents of the bride and groom time to mingle with the guests and relatives and make introductions. Because of Genevieve, the wedding was flawless....and I am still having friends say it was "a beautiful wedding".

    We hired Genevieve to do the set up & break down of our wedding site. Our location did not have staff to do this & required everything be cleaned up early the following morning. It was a huge relief to have her & her staff to manage this for us so we could focus on our big day! She met with us frequently during our planning to get a good idea of our theme & expectations and she went above & beyond our expectations! In addition to setting up everything perfectly & how we would have done it ourselves, she gave some excellent recommendations for our ceremony & other vendors. Most importantly she was the best value of anyone we hired for the whole wedding. Thank you again Genevieve!!

    It is difficult for me to imagine our wedding without having Geneveive there, because I'm pretty sure my groom and I would have been complete messes! She and Madison made it so easy for us to actually ENJOY the experience without dealing with all the 'behind-the-scenes' worry that is crucial to have dialed in as it is so vital to the happiness of guests, wedding party, pretty much everyone involved. My husband and I were actually able to spend quality time with our family and friends while Genevieve handled all of the logistics without us even noticiing. An important thing to note is the manner is which she handled things - she was incredibly professional, efficient, and creative with great attention to detail. If she was stressed out, there was absolutely no way she would show it to anyone at the wedding and that was extremely important to me as a bride. My husband and I are are mostly mellow and laid back people and we wanted our wedding to portray our true selves - Genevieve did a fabulous job of helping us with that and embracing that approach to the day. I have no doubt that she could tackle any theme of wedding and coordinate it beautifully!

    STELLAR. Extremely helpful and also really laid back which helped keep our stress levels down. Remembered every single thing we asked for with no repetition and relayed it to all of our vendors and her own assistants. Her prices were also very fair. Can't recommend her enough.

    Genevieve and her assistant Madison were such a fantastic team on my wedding day. I didn't have any stress of set up or take down with them there. They made sure everything turned out the way I wanted and they actually made it better. I originally didn't want a planner, but let me tell you it was ABSOLUTELY worth every penny! I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were so organized and professional.

    We used Time of Your Life Events for our day of coordination. We had a destination wedding which can make planning and envisioning the day challenging. Genevieve and team were great to work with! All our emails were responded to timely. She worked with our selected vendors and ensured everyone understood timelines and expectations. Our guests raved about how our ceremony started promptly at 4:30pm and there was no lingering or waiting. Genevieve did a beautiful job decorating the reception tent and allowed us to use items from her inventory which was a life saver as we live out of state. Overall, we would recommend Genevieve and were happy with her service!

    Genevieve Burmeister with Time of Your Life Events was a wonderful asset to my wedding planning. The day could not have turned out as fantastic as it did without her hard work! She definitely is not afraid to get her hands dirty and get to work- a true Montana girl! From the very beginning she was wonderful about staying in contact through phone calls and emails as I was planning the wedding from New Jersey. She also has many contacts throughout the area that ended up helping me out in several situations! She helped me with the many decisions that have to be made, from where Grandmas are to sit, what time dessert should be served, and even came with to meet my other vendors! The day of was absolutely stress free for me, the groom and our families- exactly what we wanted! No setting up of chairs or hanging of decorations- her and her team took care of everything! The amount of stress and time that Genevieve gives you is well worth the price! I absolutely would recommend her and her team to anyone planning a wedding or other event in the area!

    Genevieve is amazing and truly cares about her clients. She is very knowledgeable and is willing to help in any aspect that you need her to. She'll offer advice, go to meetings with you, get her hands dirty, but she is also never overbearing or pushy (unless the situation calls for it). She knows what you are going through and she will take as much of the burden off of you as she possibly can. We feel very fortunate that we were able to work with Genevieve during our wedding planning, and through to the very end of our special day. My only advice is to remember that she is only one person and she cannot read your mind - communication leading up to the wedding day is crucial. And remember to go over the little details with a fine tooth comb (if they are that important to you). I would recommend Genevieve to any bride because she is a true pleasure to work with and she will take care of you!

    I didn't know the first thing about planning a wedding, and Genevieve helped walk me through the process step by step. She suggested vendors and came with me to meetings. Genevieve asked the questions that I didn't even know to ask, and she was able to take really broad ideas from me and turn them into something tangible. On my wedding day, I didn't have to worry about making sure things got done because Genevieve was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. And compared to other wedding planners in the Bozeman area, you can't beat the price for Genevieve's services.

    Leaving a negative review does not feel good. But I really wish someone had steered me towards a different day-of coordinator. Reading the other reviews, I wonder why our experience with Genevieve was so drastically different. Leading up to the wedding, our experience was fine. Genevieve was quick to respond to most emails, but a couple of times we had to follow up after not hearing back for four or five days. She had a lot of decor/supplies to offer us, saving us some money and effort, which was great. Things changed the morning of the wedding, when Genevieve showed up with huge scowl and a bad attitude you couldn't help but notice, even from yards away. She had a short temper with our loved ones. Several people commented on her bad attitude. Set-up was total chaos, thanks to far too many eager helpers. Genevieve did not take the reins or help manage the chaos at all. She stood by her self, scowling, and folding napkins (not even the way I wanted the napkins folded, hah), leaving me to attempt to wrangle the set-up myself. Long story short, I ran away crying. Later, Genevieve called my MOH saying that we had a problem - we'd forgotten to order our cupcakes. Actually, Genevieve had gone to the wrong bakery, twice, despite having the correct bakery written down. You would think at least the ceremony would be taken care of, with Genevieve and her (inappropriately-dressed) assistant "in charge" but that was chaotic as well. It started earlier than the timeline I had given her, and expected to follow. Bridesmaids were given no warning and had to frantically scramble to find their bouquets. Genevieve provided a few useful services, but overall, I feel like I paid her a lot of money to cause more problems than she solved. All our other vendors were wonderful. I'm trying to remember my wedding in a positive light, and forget the mistakes. But I'm struggling.
