Wedding Reception
Pete was an amazing DJ for our wedding! His pricing was reasonable and his handling of the music could not have been better. He hit all of our most important songs, helped keep the party running on schedule, and kept the volume at a level that people could visit with each other while still feeling like they were at a party. We were thrilled with his services! -

Fantastic Service & People
This group came in last minute, just over 24 hour notice, when the original contracted DJ cancelled. The responded quickly, had good communication, was focused on our needs, followed the playlist, were very thorough helping us make decisions on items we hadn't thought about, and finally they were extremely friendly and even helped with some other things at the event. Our event was so successful, because they were so great! -

Incredibly professional and knowledgeable
Time of our Life DJ helped us run the wedding when me and my wife had no clue how to. He kept things moving like clock work and helped us pick songs for our wedding and reception. There is no doubt that he is the DJ to pick for your wedding! -

Best time of our lives (not even kidding)
Pete was hands down the best DJ we could have asked for! We were looking to have a intimate 115 person wedding at Fischer Dance Hall. Both the reception and the wedding were in the same place as it was too cold to go outside and it was dark since we got married 15Nov2019 at 6pm. It ended up being about 80 people from kids to Golden folks. He was very reasonably priced and he worked off of our 4 song suggestions and came up with a great list for dancing he also took requests and everyone loved him! Not only that but he got every single person up to dance :D played songs that were hits for everyone from the 2 year olds to the Golden folks at our wedding. Very tasteful and incorporated all the genres from reggaeton to rock to rap to Baby shark. He also did a great job rolling with schedule which was a little crammed (6pm to 930pm). We had both reception and wedding in the same place and he was the sole sound system. He coordinated with catering to get people food in a timely and smooth manner. We had a blast! If we had had to go outside with our wedding he does have a bluetooth speaker, but it was much easier to have it inside. The sound was clear and his setup took up a small table by the door. He had a cordless microphone for the toasts. -

Pete is a great guy and an awesome DJ! We received several compliments on the DJ. He met with us prior to our wedding to go over the itenerary and allowed us to pick our songs. Very professional throughout the entire process. Great MC as well. Hire Pete for your event, you won't regret it! -

Awesome DJ
We are very glad we went with Pete for our wedding, he communicated very well before our event, understood all of our requests and he did an amazing job at our wedding. He was thoughtful, funny and delivered everything we asked for. I think he had as much fun as we did, maybe more LOL ... what a great guy, we will hire him again for any other event we may have in the future. Pete ROCKS!! -

Pete was amazing! He was super flexible with our wedding and the continuous changes to the timeline and he was very professional with his set up and his demenour for the whole wedding! He played everything we asked him too and he even found songs based on what we asked for that we did not even think of! Pete was very helpful from our first meeting and throughout the entire process and wedding. He helped us plan the times of events. Gave us kind reminders when needed. Helped tremendously with the song selections and went above and beyond what was expected. I would definitely hire him again for a party or something.

Pete was awesome, definitely kept everyone on the dance floor all night! He kept us on schedule, as I'm sure most people know the wedding couple isn't checking their watches to make sure everything is happening on time! He would find us, no matter where we were being sequestered by our wedding guests, and make sure everyone knew it was time for toasts, dances, etc. He will spend a lot of time with you the day before to make sure y'alls schedules match up (though I recommend getting together with him a couple days sooner if possible- I was super busy the night of the rehearsal and felt a little stressed trying to do a million things at once). And if plans change, he is flexible! We had many things happen the night of our wedding that threw the schedule off (rain, impromptu speeches, surprise wedding song, etc.), but Pete was able to bring it back to a reasonable time frame. He is reliable and a hoot, book him! -

Pete did a great job at our ceremony and reception. He helped us create a schedule and kept everything running on time, letting us know what was up next along the way and MCing the event. We have very specific tastes in music and wanted to make our own little playlist for cocktails and dinner, which Pete was totally cool with then he controlled the rest of the reception. Everybody had a great time and Pete definitely created a fun atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. We are super happy with his work. -

Pete Wong from "Time of Your Life DJ's" was very professional and provided my wedding with fun, excitement, entertainment, and dancing. He truly listened to my husband and I, and he even found and purchased songs that were rare that my husband and I wanted to be played at our wedding. Pete was the DJ for our wedding and he was excellent!! Pete was amazing to work with! He was a huge asset to our wedding. When we first met with Pete he helped us build an itinerary for our special day. He was flexible with our budget and on the day of the wedding he really helped keep everything running smoothly even when a few hiccups came up. Pete would come over help resolve the situation by getting the right people involved which freed me up to have a drink, take pictures and really enjoy my wedding. I went into the wedding music process not knowing what to expect or even that you needed a song for nearly every aspect of a traditional reception! Pete walked me through the process and even provided me with song suggestions when I wasn't sure where to go with it! On the day of the wedding Pete set up before my guests arrived, worked through last minute issues without a hitch, and interacted with my guests perfectly. My day turned out wonderful and I ended up dancing for the entire 5 hour reception! Choosing Time of Your Life DJs was definitely one of the best decisions I ever made! -

Pete was amazing from the first meeting until even after our big day. The ceremony started late and we had a family emergency right before the reception began, but Pete was able to work with us to get back on schedule and keep the guests happy and dancing. He even checked back with me the next day to make sure everything was ok after the emergency. He was willing to meet and set up a day-of schedule before even signing a contract. He was truly a blessing on our wedding day and we are so thankful that he was there to help us on such a crazy day! -

Pete was friendly, helpful and professional. He met with us before the wedding and listened to our needs. He is easy to work with since he is very flexible. We were able to email him the music we wanted and he made sure to have it for the reception. Our guests danced up until the last song was played. We had lots of compliments on the music. Pete did a wonderful job with the music selections for both our ceremony and reception. He kept us on track the entire evening, which was great, because we got a bit of a late start.
We had people on the dance floor most of the evening. And he even handed the microphone over to my niece so she could sing along with her favorite song! (so sweet).

I cannot say enough great things about Pete Wong and Time of Your Life DJs!! Pete is so incredibly kind and friendly, and his number 1 priority is making sure your event goes exactly how you want it to go. We were planning our wedding from abroad, and Pete was wonderful about working with us over the phone and via email. I really enjoyed our phone conversations and knew from the first time we spoke that we were in good hands.
He responds right away to emails, checks in to make sure things are on track, and worked with us to come up with an itinerary for the day and how music should fit in. For cost reasons, based on what we'd been quoted by other DJs, we were only going to have music for the dancing part of the reception. But Pete's rates were so reasonable, we could afford to have him do our music for the reception AND dinner AND cocktail hour AND the ceremony (which involved setting up equipment at an additional location on the property)! He didn't charge us any extra for the ceremony and the extra set up, just the same hourly rate, which was so generous of him.
Pete's selection of music was vast! I think he had every song that got requested at the reception. He did a great job of reading the mood of the room, so we and all of our guests had a fantastic time dancing for hours!
Time of Your Life DJs is based out of New Braunfels, but they were willing to travel two hours to our venue at no extra cost to us -- another very generous gesture. So if your wedding is somewhere in Central Texas, I highly recommend working with Time of Your Life, you won't regret it! -

Pete did a great job as a DJ for our wedding. My wedding started later than planned but he was very flexible with adjusting to changes during the ceremony and reception. We weren't sure about whether to get a DJ or just do our own music through an iPod because we were worried the DJ might talk too much, distract from the event or play typical cliche music that we really didn't want for our event. After talking with Pete, I knew right away these were our guys! They were incredibly responsive, open to my over-pickiness about the songs, took the time to listen to what we really wanted and not just say "it was all about me" and then talk right over me, etc... The event was fantastic and they really helped keep things flowing! I really can't say enough good things about these two, feel very thankful to have found them for our special day!!! -

We had the pleasure of having Pete as our wedding DJ, and we really felt like we were in good hands!
Our families like to dance and that was our main concern---keep em' dancing! Pete delivered on that promise to keep the party going for us. He was very easy to communicate with, and was especially concerned about getting a feel for who we are and what kind of music we like. We met with him on several occasions and he always kept in great contact leading up to our big day. He provided us both the ceremony music and the reception music, and we really enjoyed the playlist.
We played Pete's famous Newlywed Game and got several compliments from guests about how hilarious and fun that was, and we ourselves had a wonderful laugh during this awesome game!
Pete was very personable and arrived early to set up, which was great! He was very professional and really had genuine concern about making our night perfect.
When he played the last song of the night, he asked our family and friends to circle around us on the dance floor and they all obliged as they swayed back and forth encircling us with their love and support! Was a truly beautiful moment, and my now-husband kept reminding me to look around at the smiles on their faces and soak in that moment, because it was truly one memories are made of!
Pete, thank you so much for making the entertainment a class act full of fun, laughs, and entertainment! We truly enjoyed, and would highly recommend your DJ services to others!

We were worried about getting a good DJ because my sister's DJ at her wedding completely botched everything. Luckily we found Pete, who did an incredible job.
When we first sat down with him to discuss logistics, he seemed very friendly and eager to help us in any way. He made it a point to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted. We relied on his experience and weren't disappointed.
He voluntarily scouted out our venue so he could plan out how best to set up his speakers for the ceremony and reception, which was very proactive and professional. A good example of how he is committed to amazing service.
Our communication with him before the event was excellent. He was easy to get a hold of through e-mail, phone, and text. He did both the ceremony and reception music and didn't miss a beat. We gave him a short list of music as ideas for what to play as pre-ceremony music and he was able to add to it, knowing exactly what we wanted. During the ceremony, all the music timing was right on. During the reception, he helped us to keep everything on track for the dinner, toast/speeches, cake, dances, sparkler send off, etc. He did a great job mixing up the music to get people on the dance floor. He came up to us just enough times to make sure everything was going smoothly. He was so easy to get along with and we didn't have to worry at all about the music.

We had the best time ever. All were very pleased and happy with the service provided. Our DJ was very attentive to the mood of the crowd. There was never a time when the dance floor was empty. People were commenting and telling us for many weeks thereafter what a great time they had and what a great job the DJ did. All went well and as smooth as possible, great job. Thanks. -

I was so very impressed by Pete and his son's service. I wanted music for an outside ceremony, an indoor dinner and an outdoor dance. They went above and beyond to make sure they did not disappoint, even making a last-minute decision to bring a second sound system at no extra charge. Just before dinner, Pete hosted "The Newlywed Game", which was a HUGE hit for everyone. The music was perfect, I could not have asked for anyone better. They worked wonderfully with my coordinator and other vendors, and if there were any issues, I was unaware and remained worry-free the entire day. I highly recommend Time of Your Life DJ's, they are passionate about what they do, and go above and beyond what was promised.

We worked with Pete from Time of Your Life DJ's in San Antonio, TX. He was very professional and really cared about getting the music right and making us happy. My wife and I have very different styles of music and he was able to mix both styles (Country and Motown) and had everyone dancing including the kids. He did a great job! -

Myself and my family would recommend Time of Your Life DJs for any event you may be planning. The only thing requested was that we meet with Pete and go over the list of songs to play and a timeline of the introduction, first dance etc. He preferred to do this in person as I can appreciate his professionalism. He works so hard to make sure everything is just perfect! He makes you feel that it is not about them, but all about you and your event! He always called me back the same day I called him and was very easy to talk to! My wedding reception was fabulous! The dance floor always busy and every one talked about the great time they had! My mom has been decorating and planning venues for 30 years and was so impressed with Pete Wong! He had different games for us to play, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed and added great humor to our reception. I contribute the great success of my wedding reception to Pete Wong!

Pete rocked my wedding reception! We danced from 7-12am! I sent him a list of songs I wanted and he filled in the rest! We had a blast- my friends (some austin djs) are still complimenting the reception music :) pete had some newly wed questions for us to answer out loud in front of the guests and everyone laughed the whole time. I hired these guys because they're known to do a great job with smiles on their faces- and I got exactly what I expected!

Time of Your Life DJ's have provided their exceptional services to our family on more than one occasion; two of our children's weddings (the most recent in October 2012), special birthday celebrations, New Year's Eve parties, to name a few. There is not another DJ service in town in our book. Pete and Michael put forth 150% in every aspect of customer service, and we would highly recommend them. -

Couldnt have been happier with these guys. The playlist we had requested was played and he was attentive to certain music and songs we specifically DID NOT want. He was very easy to work with . He played the right mix of music to get everyone up and dancing. My husband and i have also heard them at other venues we have attended and were very pleased. -

Pete was great to work with. He answered very promptly and professionally, our only hiccup was the song I was supposed to walk down the aisle to. I had sent him a very specific song that you could not find anywhere else but must have got lost in the process somehow. Either way we quickly got a new song and none of the guests noticed. He was also very flexible and the most helpful vendor I thought throughout the whole process, very happy to have booked him. -

Pete was extremely helpful in providing the music for our wedding. His suggestions for changes to the timing and setup of the music schedule were constructive and proved the correct choice to make. His character was professional yet very friendly and comfortable, so that it felt more like a good friend was helping us with our wedding, more than a hired help (were it only that the photographers were more like him!). I would whole heartedly recommened Pete for any wedding or other social event and should we have another in this area, he will be our first choice. -
