Best wedding band out there

BOOK. BOOK. BOOK! We just had our wedding at the Crystal Tea Room this past weekend. When i tell you Tim and his band absolutely KILLED it, I am not kidding. One of the top things people took away from our wedding was how amazing the band was and how they did not stop all night. We had toddlers and adults out dancing for all 4 hours. They played everything from Creed to Noah Kahan, to Taylor Swift. Tims acoustic sets were perfect for our first dance of Mess is Mine by Vance Joy, Lindsay and Marcus for our cocktail hour was unreal. Such an intimate vibe in that large space is exactly what we were going for. The band sounded UNREAL. They flipped the room so quickly over cocktail hour so we didn't have to have draping or anything behind the ceremony stage. They TRULY know how to work the room. If you can get them for your wedding day, birthday party, or get a chance to see them locally, I HIGHLY recommend. Tim, thank you again!

The best of both worlds!!

Tim Williams band is amazing. We were able to have a live music acoustic duo play at our cocktail hour and Tim was the DJ/MC for our reception. Although we were not able to have the entire band, we would have loved to if our venue was slightly bigger! My husband and I love to enjoy live music, but we also love to dance to throwbacks on the dance floor all night at a wedding. This was truly the best of both worlds! Our guests won’t stop raving to us about how great the music was all night. If you’re considering booking with Tim Williams band, just do it!

Packed Dance Floor All Night!

We cannot say enough great things about the Tim Williams Band! From start to finish, they were incredible to work with — so kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. Tim made sure all of our favorite songs were included, from Bruce to Harry Styles, and the set list was the perfect mix for every generation.

On the night of our wedding, the energy was unmatched. Lindsey and Tim’s vocals were phenomenal, the instrumentals were outstanding, and the dance floor was packed all night long. We heard from so many of our guests how much fun they had — everyone was up dancing and singing along. Tim was also a fantastic MC, keeping the night running smoothly and making sure everything felt seamless.

We’d book them again in a heartbeat. If you want a band that will make your wedding unforgettable, the Tim Williams Band is it!

Non-stop fun from the first note and a pleasure to work with.

I'd like to send my many thanks to all the members of the Tim Williams Band for the amazing music that you provided for my daughter and son-in-law's Wedding. The day was everything they dreamed of. When she started planning- I asked what was her priority- the venue, the food, the flowers, the music....she quickly said the music. "I want that Jersey Shore night at The Columns feel!".

Well you all certainly provided that and more! From the very first beat till the last song, the dance floor was full. I've never seen so many empty chairs at a wedding!

The song choices, talent and energy were at the highest levels. So many people have said it was the best wedding- and the best party- they ever attended. They appreciated that the variety of music allowed all ages to feel included, and that slow songs were played as well. (The vocals during At Last were mentioned repeatedly!). We have received countless calls and texts complimenting the band and asking for your name.

Two different musicians recommended your band- not only for talent- but because of what great people you all are. They were spot on- you were all sooooo nice. Truly a pleasure to work with.

My daughter and son-in-law are a very special couple and loved by all. They are constantly doing for others. They put so much effort into their planning trying to create a great time for their guests. They achieved their goal and you all were a huge part of that. It was such a fun night!!! Thank you for making them so very happy- they never stopped smiling all day. I truly appreciate you all.

I HIGHLY recommend Tim Williams Band!

From start to finish, Tim and his band went and beyond to make our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception feel uniquely us. Every request we had was met with enthusiasm and flexibility, and Tim handled every unexpected moment with grace and professionalism.
The band is hands down the most talked-about part of our wedding. Every member of the band is incredibly talented. They played everything from rock and pop to country and even Eminem, keeping the dance floor packed the entire night.

Tim Williams Band was simply the best!

Hiring the Tim Williams Band for our daughter’s wedding was simply the best decision we made. Tim was the consummate professional throughout the entire process. He met with the couple several times to discuss their preferences and definitely delivered to make their big day so special. Tim and the entire band are so talented and brought such a high energy, fun vibe that had everyone dancing and singing the entire night. He’s offers different options to suit your needs from DJ, duo up to the full 7 piece band. We thought the service was amazing and pricing was reasonable. A great value. We highly recommend using them for your special occasion! Read on for more details.

We had the full band for the reception and guitar duo, keyboard and amazing vocals of Lindsey McKay for the ceremony and cocktails. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Tim really listened and honored our kids’ preferences. He kept the night moving pacing the special dances, speeches, etc in between songs that kept the dance floor packed all night. He’s a great musician, band leader and MC. He even helped us pick the venue. And arranged for a special guest to make the night even more special. The music, energy and overall vibe was amazing. We literally did not sit down the entire night. We had so much fun!!

It’s been a few months and to this day our wedding guests and people who heard about it keep reminding us that it was the best night ever. And it was! Several friends who were there have hired Tim and recommended him to others for their big day. There are so many things to consider when planning a wedding. My daughters wedding band!

Wow, wow, wow — the Tim Williams Band is absolutely amazing!
My daughter's DJ canceled at the last minute, and Tim stepped in to save the day
— truly a blessing in disguise. His professionalism and talent were unmatched; honestly, the best l've ever seen.
Tim played acoustic guitar during the ceremony and cocktail hour, then seamlessly transitioned into DJ mode for the reception. He brought such a cool, unique energy and flawlessly blended all the different genres we requested.
I truly don't think any other DJ could've suited her wedding better. Thank you, Tim, for doing such an incredible job and making her wedding one for the books!

Tim Williams Band is great! Tim was so easy to work with and made the entire aspect of music and MC'ing the reception stress-free which was incredibly valuable and appreciated. Tim and Mark were amazing guitarists and singers, we had so many guests come up to us to say how impressive they were and we couldnt agree more. We cant recommend Tim Williams Band enough, truly an 11/10

Amazing combo of live music and DJ service!

My daughter's wedding was this past weekend, and Tim MADE the party such a success! From the time we started working with him 18 months ago, he was friendly and open. At the wedding, Tim and one of his band members played acoustic guitars/sang for our guests as they came in. Then during cocktail hour, they continued. So many people complimented their sound- it was the perfect ambiance. Beautiful voices!

At the reception part, we moved to Tim serving as DJ. And he was fabulous!! We had had a meeting prior to the wedding, and he truly took the kids' visions and brought it to life. The music he selected had the dance floor packed all night! We didn't want any gimmicks- so no light wands or props. He read the room, played the music, and let the party flow. One funny note that several people have commented on: during my husband's speech, he mentioned watching the movie Titanic. As his speech ended, Tim had the music from Titanic playing. People asked, "did he know this was part of the speech?" NO he did not, but he paid attention and truly customized it. Those little moments made the night so special.

Finally at the end, the kids wanted a private last dance. Tim orchestrated that, got 200 people cleared out, set it up, took pictures of them (as the photographer had already left!), and then he left the area, to give them true privacy! What a class act!! Tim later texted me the 20 pictures he took so that we could have them.

I can not speak highly enough about Tim. We wanted a mix of live music and a DJ, and he went above and beyond to make our vision happen. So many compliments on the music, which we all know, is truly what people remember. I 1000% recommend Tim to everyone and anyone! You will not be disappointed!!

Simply the best! Keep on rocking!

We hired Tim Williams and his band for our wedding and it was the best decision we made! From the planning stages to the wedding day itself, Tim was incredibly professional, communicative, and truly listened to how we wanted our special day to feel. He sent us a song list and list of questions about what we wanted, specific song choices and what to avoid to fit our preferences.
The band’s talent is unmatched. Their sound during the dinner reception was a wonderful backdrop to guests mingling and when it was time to party the dance floor was packed all night. They knew exactly how to read the room, transitioning flawlessly between live music and DJ sets during band breaks. Every guest we’ve spoken to since has raved about how amazing our band was. They even entertained my husband's request to invite his friend who is a drummer in a somewhat popular band to perform one of his songs with them! It was a hit!
Tim went above and beyond to ensure the night was stress-free, seamless and he helped with venue microphone/speaker setup for our harpist and officiant. He was thorough, flexible, and professional and fun to work with. We truly could not imagine our wedding without them. If you’re looking for a band that will elevate your wedding, keep the party going, and leave a lasting impression on your guests, look no further—Tim Williams Band is the way to go! Our wedding!

The Tim Williams Band is amazing! They performed at our wedding in December and all of our guests raved about them. Their song choices were spot on and Tim did such a great job handling all the announcements and speeches. They were so good from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and all through the reception. J&E Wedding 9/8/24 - Best Band Choice Ever!

Tim and his band were absolutely amazing, from the planning stages to the entire wedding day. Every part of the wedding was accompanied by a gorgeous acoustic sound, and the full band made the reception a nonstop, ear-pleasing party! DJ selection for band downtimes was exceptional and transitioned to and from the live portions seamlessly. They did a great job reading the room throughout the reception and kept the party going strong up until closing time. They even let my husband perform a song with them LIVE! Still raving over this band!

My husband and I got married in June and hired Tim Williams Band and they did not disappoint. From the pre-wedding call to discuss how we wanted our flow of the wedding to go, to the actual day of the wedding, Tim was so helpful answering all our questions and really listened to how we wanted our special day to feel. The band was FANTASTIC and went above and beyond to keep the party going all night long. We truly do not think our wedding would of been the same without them. The Perfect Band for Our Wedding!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Tim Williams. He and Mark played acoustics at our wedding in September. We bought out a restaurant, so it's not your traditional wedding venue. But Tim knew exactly what was needed to make sure the music was heard all across the restaurant. He is very thorough--will send you a list of questions and also a song list beforehand. Price wise, he was extremely reasonable considering the quality of professionalism and talent provided. He is very flexible and accommodating. We had so much fun and so did our guests! They all kept telling me what a great band we had. I highly recommend hiring Tim Williams. Great music all around!

The Tim Williams Band is incredibly talented! Tim did acoustic cocktail hour and DJ for our wedding reception. He learned and sang our first dance song even slowing the tempo so it was perfect for us! He was so great, we booked their acoustic band duo for my 30th Birthday, and my dad booked the whole band for their summer pool party. Wonderful experience and a steal for the price! Tim Williams Band was Amazing at our Wedding

The Tim Williams Band performed for our wedding last month and were absolutely fantastic. Tim was an amazing host for the reception, and the music was second to none. Everyone was on the dance floor all night and they were the primary reason for it. So many of our guests said it was the best music they’ve ever heard at a wedding. Tim Williams took into account our personal style when selecting music. He did a great job of bouncing between music genres so that everyone was happy and stayed on the dance floor. The band learned two new songs for us so that our dances with our parents could be performed live. Could not recommend them enough to anyone who is looking for a wedding band.

Exactly what we wanted!

If you are looking for music for your wedding (or any event) go with the Tim Williams Band! From the minute we reached out to Tim he was professional, organized, and just so kind. Leading up to our wedding he went over every little detail with us to make sure our day was perfect including sharing some advice and tips from his experience and learning about our venue. The wedding music itself was incredible. Tim and his band mates played everything we asked for and you can tell they truly enjoy what they do. Tim was incredible on the guitar, singing, and then later as our DJ. Our guests were dancing the entire night. He also kept the night running smoothly as the MC handling introductions, etc. Lindsey's voice is out of this world and his other bandmates are equally as talented. We received so many compliments on our music at the wedding. We truly wish we could do our wedding all over again just to listen to the music. Best ever!

Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better band/Dj for my big day. Truly from beginning to end - planning my vision all the way to the day of, Tim was top notch. He heard ever request and brought it all to life. Also having Lindsey was the best decision ever. She engaged with the crowd and made our wedding feel like a concert! I wish I could relive it 10000 times. Highly recommend and I would recommend them for any and all events. Thank you just doesn’t feel good enough but I will say it a million times over!

Best DJ Ever

We could not have been happier with how Tim handled our wedding. He met with us multiple times leading up to the day and took everything we asked for and brought it to life. During the wedding, he read the room extremely well and had everyone on the dance floor the whole time. He even played guitar and sang for the cocktail hour and our guests wouldn’t stopping about how good he was. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Fabulous DJ/Band

The Tim Williams Band performed at my daughter’s wedding on 2/11/23 at Normandy Farm and they were Fabulous. Tim was the DJ and he also performed live music during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He provided a fun, entertaining evening for all. Besides being the utmost professional, he also went out of his way to keep my 2 year old grandson happy by allowing him to touch his guitar. I would recommend the Tim Williams Band to anyone who wanted a truly memorable experience at their wedding.

Wow! Can't Recommend Enough!

To say Tim Williams helped to make our wedding day perfect would be an understatement. He was so easy to work with, had recommendations when I was unsure and perfectly incorporated all elements I was looking for. To accommodating how to incorporate a two year old or infusing the night with pieces of me and my husband. Between Tim's instrumental and DJ'ing to Lindsey's vocals and electric vibe on the dance floor- the entire night was absolutely perfect. We're already looking up their line ups so that we can continue to catch their amazing vibes in local spots around Philly. Tim, Thank you for everything!

The BEST person and band

Tim was everything from the start -- he is truly an amazing artist (along with the entire band), but also just an extremely genuine person and awesome business owner. Working with Tim Williams Band was the easiest (and first) decision of our wedding. My husband and I have bonded over music since the start of our relationship, and we were set on a band for our big day; once we engaged in conversation with Tim, we didn't have to look any further. Tim made the entire process easy, and wow, did he and the band deliver! We were so lucky to have him for both an acoustic ceremony and cocktail hour and the full band for our reception. Tim Williams Band was what EVERYONE was talking about after the wedding. Tim absolutely made my 10-year old nephew's night by bringing him up on stage to sing too. We can't wait to continue to support Tim when he plays locally, and I hope that we are lucky enough to be guests at another event Tim and team play at soon. 100/10 -- best decision ever!!

Cannot express our thanks to Tim and his team enough, Tim was professional and courteous during our entire cocktail hour and reception. Tim was incredibly personable and was able to get the whole crowd going and involved on the dance floor! We appreciated Tim taking the time to approach us and let us know the time table and when he planned to make the announcements for speeches and it just made the entire evening go smooth and without any hiccups! We would highly recommend anyone looking for wedding music to go with Tim because he will go above and beyond to make sure you get A class entertainment.

Something for Everyone

Excellent Wedding Band

Amazing wedding performance

We had Tim on guitar/vocals and George Flayer on violin perform at our wedding this past weekend. Their performance was the perfect complement to our perfect day as they played the ceremony music and cocktail hour. Having that added touch with live music enhanced the entire ceremony/cocktail hour. Tim was awesome to work with to plan everything and the night of the performance with George was amazing! The guitar/vocals/violin sounded great together, they played a wide range of genres, and both of their talent truly added to our memorable wedding experience. I would highly recommend adding Tim to your wedding day.

Amazing voice, wonderful to work with!

Tim was fantastic to work with. We booked him for our ceremony + cocktail hour, but I highly recommend booking him for your reception too. He has an amazing voice and is so musically talented. He went above and beyond to learn songs that were special to us on top of his extensive set. This was especially meaningful because my husband is Australian, so it was wonderful he could hear some of his favorite songs on our wedding day. Top notch entertainment

Tim had played at two of our friends weddings and we have seen him at The Goats Beard a few times. We knew we wanted him for our wedding! He is absolutely amazing! He is so nice, laid back, and has a great sense of humor making him such a dream to work with. His voice is second to none. He sings live for cocktail hour as well as first dances. Our first dance and my dance with my dad was so beautiful. He then turned into a DJ and it was amazing, dance floor was packed all night! When we met with him prior to the wedding, he was very organized and executed our reception perfectly! Many guests commented on how amazing he was. If you want a mix of live music and DJ that everyone will enjoy, look no further!

Phenomenal wedding band

Tim and his team (Lindsey + Mark) were absolutely incredible. We originally just booked Tim to sing for ceremony/cocktail and DJ reception. We booked him nearly a year out from our wedding and when we got closer to the date he remembered everything we had discussed and had clearly given thought to how he could make our vision a reality. He offered to add Lindsey and Mark to make it a trio and honestly we could not be happier. Tim crushed the acoustic for the ceremony and the team brought the BEST energy to the reception. Lindsey was out dancing and singing with guests. We've been told by a number of friends it was one of the best wedding dance parties they've been to.. and that's coming from very picky NYers who attend lots of weddings ;)

Could not recommend Tim and his band more. Not only are they incredibly talented but they show an immense effort to make your day even better than you could have imagined.

Arguably the BEST part of our wedding

I wish I could give a million stars. I'll start by saying we've known Tim for years. I used to serve and bartend and a restaurant where he sang live every Sunday night. Over the years, we've had the opportunity to see the entire band together on several occasions, so it was a no brainer for us to ask Tim and the entire band to play our wedding. Even knowing exactly what to expect, Tim, Ryan, Lindsey and the rest of the team went above and beyond our expectations. They set the right tone from the start, and let me tell you, the party was a LIT!! Tim worked with us ahead of time to ask what was on our must have lists, our no way lists, and to go over exactly what the flow and vibe of the ceremony, cockatail hour and reception was going to look like, so we didnt have to worry about a thing. They made sure everyone was dancing all night, and were super cool about requests friends and family made. We've gotten probably 100 complements on how great they were. Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts!

Tim Williams Band

It is no exaggeration to say that the Tim Williams Band made our wedding. We found Tim after another option fell through, and booking Tim and his band was the best decision we could have made. Tim was extremely easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and he also helped the wedding day run smoothly. They played everything we asked during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - including a not very well known song (Brian Fallon - Hard Feelings) for our first dance, which they crushed.

If you can swing the full band, it is 100% worth it. Tim has some secret weapons with Lindsay on vocals and Mark Teague (if available) on guitar, but everyone in the band is great. They played a wide variety of music during the reception that kept the dance floor full all nights. They leaned a little more rock than your average wedding band, which was exactly what we wanted. All of our guests raved about them and continue to ask how we found them. My wife Talia and I both agreed that hiring them was the best decision we made for the wedding and it wouldn't have been the same without them.

Tim is the best ever.

If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would. Tim was absolutely AMAZING and had the party dancing all night. Leading up to our wedding Tim was flexible with zoom meetings, organized, kind and supportive, listened to our music requests, and gave great tips on how to keep the party dancing. On our wedding day we did not need to worry about one thing because Tim was on it all day and night. Tim was adaptive to our nontraditional venue layout for dance floor and music. Tim played acoustic for our cocktail hour and first dance and our guests LOVED his performance. He informed our bridal party of what to do for intros, speeches, cake cutting, etc. Tim followed the crowd’s lead and played all of our guests’ favorite songs. Our guests keep sending us beautiful messages about our wedding and the first thing they keep mentioning is how much they loved Tim. Everyone had such a great time dancing to his song selection. We never wanted the night to end. Thank you so much Tim!

Absolutely Amazing

We hired Tim for the acoustic ceremony and cocktail hour followed by his DJing the reception, and we could not be more thrilled with how everything went. From the first meeting until the reception he made sure to do everything that he could to make our musical vision happen. The acoustics at the ceremony and cocktail hour were amazing, and for the reception he had everyone up and dancing the entire time. We also greatly appreciated his flexibility after we had to change our date due to COVID-19. When we first met Tim, we knew he was exactly who we wanted to be a part of our wedding day. He is hilarious, talented, and kind. We felt like we had known him forever.

During the planning process, Tim made everything so seamless for us. Everything was so easy and he was so flexible. Tim even learned our first dance song for us and he was delighted to do it!

Every guest at our wedding absolutely raved about Tim! He sang an acoustic cocktail hour for us and sang our first dance acoustically as well. It was unbelievable experience and so incredibly unique.

Highly Recommend Tim Williams, Amazing Acoustic Singer and DJ

Tim was amazing from our first conversation to our last song at our reception! My sister-in law recommended Tim from hearing him play at previous wedding. We worked with him for nearly 2 years due to having to move our wedding due to covid. He was super professional, understanding, very responsive and easy to work with. He even went out of his way to recommend a violinist when ours canceled on us for our ceremony and cocktail hour. For our reception, he played acoustic guitar while dinner was served and everyone loved his voice and talent. After dinner, he went right into DJing and the dance floor was filled the entire time. He knew exactly when to filter out guest recommendations that didn’t fit our style and also read the vibe of the dance floor, when to move to a slow song or a more upbeat song. We highly recommendation Tim to play at your next event!!!

the perfect fit for our wedding

Tim was so great to work with! Our wedding was at a concert venue, so we knew that we needed to incorporate live music somehow, but a full band for the reception wasn't in our budget. So we had Tim preform a solo acoustic set for cocktail hour and DJ the reception. He was such a great fit! All the guests loved listening to him at cocktail hour and he did a great job throughout the reception as MC and DJ. We all had so much fun, and his music even got me dancing (which I never do, so that's saying something). Highly recommend working with him, really a great artist and vendor!

Still in awe at how incredible our music was

We’re writing this review multiple days after our wedding and are still in shock at how amazing our music was for our Christmas wedding last weekend. Choosing Tim Williams at first was a sentimental decision for us; he had been performing at the restaurant that my wife and I went on our first date at. I had bought her his CD after the first date because we absolutely loved his music. So we were excited to have Tim do the music for our wedding, but honestly were blown away by how perfectly he planned and executed every little detail of our big day. We wanted a rather unique set up for our music, given that our venue was small and not your normal floor plan. Tim Williams delivered far past our expectations in what we were imagining. Our hope was to have a DJ that also had a vocalist to sing over some tracks and give more of a band-like vibe without us having the space to actually have a band. Tim came with Lindsay McKay, who honestly has such an incredible voice, and such an energetic personality that got everyone out of their seats and dancing. Tim and Lindsay were perfect to perform together. Every single one of our guests were commenting on how incredible they both were. From Christmas songs to slow songs, to the wedding classics, they’re such a dynamic duo. We cannot recommend Tim enough. Tim is so down to earth and was very open to sharing the things that he felt would work really well, while also being very open about the things he’s seen happen in the past to help us avoid them happening for our big day.

We’re already starting to think about what future events / parties we can throw solely to have Tim perform. His pricing was incredibly reasonable, and absolutely worth every dollar. Thank you to both Tim and Lindsay for helping to deliver the wedding of our dreams. You blew our already high expectations out of the water, and we’re so thankful for all of your help in delivering us the wedding of our dreams.

Best wedding musician/dj!

When we hired Tim for our entertainment we really got the best of both worlds: an incredibly talented live musician and an energetic DJ. My husband and I could not have been more impressed by his level of professionalism, his personality, and his courtesy throughout the whole process. He is extremely talented and knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Tim knew how to keep the dance floor full and give everyone what they wanted to hear. Everyone at our wedding raved about many of our vendors, but Tim was one that everyone continues talking about because of how perfect of a job he did. Tim, Lindsay and band were an incredible compliment to our reception. We could not have asked for someone better. Tim met with us via Zoom on 2-3 separate occasions to make sure he had exactly what he needed from us and to go over the plan for the day- of. He went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. He, Lindsay and the rest of the band worked beautifully together and did a great job interacting with our guests. Tim absolutely wow'd our guests (and us - the bride and groom).. His live acoustic performance during cocktail hour was the talk of the night, and days after... Once he transitioned to DJ, later in the night, he knew exactly what music to play and when...

Tim has performed and DJ'd for a number of our friends and I will continue to keep referring him to anyone I know, really a great guy and professional!

All Around AMAZING experience

From start to finish, Tim was amazing!! We worked with him for our May wedding and he made the process so easy and fun. He checked in on us throughout our planning and was very responsive which was super helpful for us while navigating wedding planning during the pandemic. Our guests are still raving about him and our night! He and Ryan played Acoustic for our ceremony and cocktail hour and Tim went right into DJing our reception! Guests couldn't stop raving!

When I started my vendor search, I knew I wanted acoustic music for cocktail hour and a dj for dancing at the reception. Every acoustic musician I found looked good in reviews, but when I listened to samples I was never impressed...until I found Tim. AND he could do both cocktail hour singing and switch into dj mode for the reception. My fiance and I watched some video clips and then went to see him play live, we were so excited to have found him. He was also very affordable compared to many other music vendors, but sounded far better!

Then Covid hit and we had to postpone. This was followed by having to move to plan C by downsizing and finding a new venue two weeks before the wedding. Tim was so flexible and adjusted to all of the changes, even going so far as to refuse part of our payment because we were having a smaller event. He did not have to do that, some of our other vendors certainly were not willing to compromise on pricing, let alone be the one to suggest it. Besides being an amazing musician, he's a good person.
We ended up downsizing from 150 guests to 21 for a simple sit down dinner because of Covid. We switched gears to have Tim play acoustic the whole night as background music. My sister-in-law requested a song to slow dance with her grandfather to. This somehow ended up with all of us dancing and Tim ran with it and kept playing dance music. We had so much fun! It was honestly as much fun as I've had dancing at huge weddings and even better because it was live music. Everyone kept asking where we found Tim and were so impressed. The night wouldn't have been the same without him there setting the atmosphere. I would recommend him to anyone looking for music to make their big day even more magical!!

Tim Williams made our wedding so special!

My husband and I hired Tim Williams for our 3.14.20 wedding and we were so happy with that decision! Throughout the whole process, Tim was responsive, thoughtful and offered a lot of options. He and his saxophonist Rob were excellent during our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and first dances. Tim even learned our first dance song, recorded his version of it and sent it to us ahead of time along with our parents' dance songs. Having live music was something we wanted at our wedding, but we couldn't do a full band. Tim Williams offered the best of both worlds and DJed the dancing portion of the evening. All our guests loved his and Rob's performances! Thank you for adding such a special touch to our wedding!

Must hire, the absolute best!

Tim and his band were absolutely amazing and more than exceeded my expectations. Pre-wedding, Tim brought us into his studio for a fun preview experience. After we booked the band, Tim was always quick to respond, accommodated any of our requests or customization and was easy and fun to work with. At the actual wedding the band was unreal. Tim learned all new songs for my bridal party and me to walk down the aisle to; during cocktail hour the band even incorporated an antique Steinway piano the venue had displayed in the 18th century mansion; and during the reception the band was unbelievable! I had many guests come up to me throughout the night asking where I found Tim Williams Band and am still getting questions and compliments to this day. Thank you so much Tim Williams Band for making our wedding day such a blast! If I can convince my husband to throw a vowel renewal party 10 years down the line, you are hired.

In the streets of key west florida

A happy accident to stumble upon The Tim Williams Band in Key West, Florida. Just wow. These guy are not only amazing musically, they are downright kind. We literally went to see another band at another venue. that band was on break, so we wandered to The Hog;s Breath and found TWB. They are amazing. I've been been married 18 years, but if I could, they would absolutely be our wedding band. They know every song you could ever want, are friendly and able to handle a crowd and genuinely seem to enjoy both the music AND interacting with folks (even the ones that drank too much!). This is a band of excellent professional musicians having a great time and genuinely enjoying providing entertainment. They will keep your 19 year old sousing and 80 year old aunt happy. HIRE THEM!

Tim Williams Band - The Best Ever

Tim Williams Band made our wedding night! We love music, so we wanted to make sure that the band understood our vision: a bit nontraditional wedding, celebratory (no sit-down dinner) kind of a night. Tim and his crew made it happen. From the father / daughter dance to Guns n Roses to Amy Winehouse, Adele and The Rolling Stones the music just got better and better throughout the night. The vocals are INSANE and the acoustic duo at cocktail hour was a major hit. Tim has great energy and is very easy to work with. He had awesome recommendations, set lists and the options are really endless with this talented group. We danced the entire night and the music was one of the most memorable parts for our guests. We will definitely travel to see the band play, have parties with them in the future and would recommend 1000x over.

Hands Down The Best!

Tim Williams is simply THE BEST. His talent is unmatched. Tim performed at my same sex marriage and he completely exceeded expectations beyond words. He performed acoustic at the ceremony and cocktail hour and then very naturally transitioned to the DJ for the night. Tim's attention to detail did not go unnoticed. He even traveled several hours out of state to make our night perfect! I have been following Tim for nearly 10 years and would recommend him 10 times over!

Simply the Best

Tim is not only a fantastic DJ, he is also an exceptionally talented singer and musician. He played live during cocktail hour and dinner, and DJ’d the remainder of the evening. Tim’s live sets were nothing short of incredible: he played songs we requested, joked around with the guests like they were old friends, and even played a Disney song or two for the young children. He also played our first dance live, putting in the time to make a beautiful mash-up of two of our favorite songs. Tim is friendly, professional, and he knows how to read a crowd and keep everyone happy, dancing, and entertained. From the very beginning Tim got to know my wife and I, understood what we wanted, and he put together a unique experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Hands down perfection

Tim was downright wonderful! Quick to respond, great with suggestions, open to talking through playlists, and willing to travel ACROSS the country to perform at our wedding. Tim connected directly with the venue and coordinator to take the hard work out of our hands and let us keep the fun part of choosing our songs. His song list is expansive and amazing - we got to choose a song from Moana to have the kids walk down the aisle too and he knew everything from classics to top hits to Disney and country. Tim played acoustic at our ceremony and then a mixture of live and DJ'ing for the reception. He was attentive, kind, and genuine - everything you want in a musician for your special day! So Happy! More than we could have imagined!

Tim was amazing! We had Tim and Rob play our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (both live music and DJ) at our wedding and could not have been happier. We requested some songs to be played and within a couple weeks Tim had learned the songs and sent us previews. The entire day/night we were getting complement from all of our guest about how much they loved Tim and Rob. FYI Groom's perspective here: Hands down the best wedding band we've seen. Very diverse song selection, great musicians, and excellent at reading the crowd to keep the energy up. Every aspect from acoustic ceremony/cocktail hour to full band and DJ'd songs was spot on. All of our guests raved about the music, and Tim was an awesome MC for intros etc. We did all the local wedding band showcases and no other band even came close. If I was going to have a band at my own wedding, it had to be one that I would seek out live on my own time. These guys are it.
