  Worth every penny

  “Ecstatic” doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel when admiring the work of our wedding photographer. Tim has such a girft! He didn’t just take pictures of us, he bottled the joy of that night and embedded it into each photograph. He saw whatever was in the background and created an unbelievably artistic image. His photos tell our story.
  
  When the event is over, all you'll have left is pictures. Tim Ray photography is worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!

  Tim was so much fun to work with. He is very professional and knows what he is doing. He was so helpful in so many ways. We have over 600 pictures and there isn't a bad one in the bunch. Also he's priced are very reasonable

  Tim and his wife were very accommodating to meet all my needs for my wedding photographs. He designed a customized package that fit within my budget range and the pictures turned out exceptional. It was great that he gave me access to all the photos he took, as well! Tim took great shots, including all the details from my reception as well as action shots of our guests and my groom and me. He was very prepared, and gave us ideas of poses/shots when I couldn't think of them myself. Very pleased with my pictures and the professionalism that Tim displays! Excellent photographer and will highly recommend!

  I would HIGHLY recommend booking Tim Ray to do your wedding photography. The photos from my wedding were amazing. While I loved all the posed portraits, what I was really impressed with were the outstanding candid shots. He truly captured the joy of my friends and family as they danced, chatted, and celebrated all day long. Also, he is very willing to work with you to get exactly what you want accomplished - he even made a pit-stop on the way to our reception to take some photos of us with our dog at our house since pets weren't allowed at either of our venues.

  When I found Tim Ray Photography by a google search for wedding photographers in WV, I was very pleased with his work.   Takes amazing pictures! Able to make any room look grand. Meet with him before the date if you are wanting specific pictures so you can give him a list otherwise you may not have time on the day of to get everything you wanted but he does a good job getting most of it on his own anyway.

  My husband and I were a little worried about having a wedding that was 4 hours from our home and finding someone that could capture who we are without knowing them. Tim and his wife did an AMAZING job of this. Our pictures are great, they were timely and just let the night happen without trying to pose us for shots. We both have LARGE families and lots of little kids and Tim did a wonderful job on wrangling everyone in, even though it was hot and people were getting restless. I highyl reccomend him!

  Tim did a few photos for my brother and I to give to my folks for Christmas. My mom actually cried she loved them so much. After we decided to see if Tim would do my and Jeff’s wedding. He did such a great job and he was willing to do any shot we ask. What I loved most about is how responsive our dog and horses were around him. I can say we probably will see if he will do more pictures for us later on.

I was very disappointed (a month after the wedding, not 1-2 weeks as promised) and then most of the pictures were staged and of the family or bridal party. There were some good pictures, but not exciting or quality that is portrayed on website.

  I don't normally respond to reviews, but felt the need to do so with this particular review. Let me start by saying that this review is by the mother of the bride, and not the bride. I was contracted by the bride to photograph this wedding. The mother and father of the bride are divorced, and this is the point of contention by the mother. The mother of the bride emailed me that there were too many photos of the father/daughter dance, but I was there to photograph the wedding for the bride and groom.
  
  There are several factually untrue statements made in this review: First, I never promised that images would be ready in 1 to 2 weeks. The contract signed by the bride clearly states that the images would be ready in 2 to 4 weeks, and they were ready in that timeframe.
  
  Secondly, there were never any staged photographs captured at this wedding. All of the posed family and wedding party portraits were specifically requested by the bride and groom, and I captured only what they requested. We do offer additional photographers for those who want to capture more images of the crowd, but this couple opted for one photographer coverage.
  
  The Bride told me that she and her husband love their wedding photos and will cherish them the rest of their life, and that is what really matters to me.
