We got married on June 27, 2025 and had the absolute best experience having our wedding at the Tilling House! From start to finish, everything was seamless, elegant, and completely stress-free. Erica, our event coordinator, was incredible to work with. She is professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. She made the entire planning and booking process easy and tailored everything to our needs. Our bridal attendants, Jackie and Gretchen, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, calm, and well taken care of throughout the day. Jackie even took incredible BTS shots of us throughout the day on her phone, which are some of my favorite photos to look back on! They anticipated every need before we even had to ask. The bar staff were outstanding, and made our specific specialty cocktails taste incredible. The cocktail hour was beautifully executed, and you know it was a great wedding when your friends are still raving about it! All the food was absolutely delicious at the cocktail hour and, of course, the reception, where it was served not only perfectly on time but with impeccable white-glove, synchronized service, which was so cool to watch. We felt taken care of the entire time, always had a fresh beverage in hand, plenty of food available and we're able to just relax and have the best time! The level of service was truly 10/10 across the board. Even the next-day pickup was organized and effortless, which made wrapping things up so much easier. The Tilling House exceeded every expectation & we couldn’t have asked for a more stunning venue or a more attentive team. Thanks to everyone there, we have memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend to any couple looking for a top-tier wedding venue in New Jersey! We have been joking that we would have loved being guests at our own wedding, since it was such an unbelievably fun time with great food, amazing space, and energy! -

TillingHouse was AMAZING!
A huge THANK YOU to the Tillinghouse, Erica and team for an epic wedding!! We are so happy that we choose Tillinghouse for our wedding venue. The space is absolutely beautiful, the food is just amazing and the staff is friendly and super helpful. Erica was with us and guided us every step of the way. The day-of the bridal assistants were so attentive, paid attention to details, helped with anything that was needed and worked together with our vendors nicely. Everything went so smooth and our guests are still talking about our magical night. THANK YOU TH and we'll be back for your amazing bar/ restaurant!! -

We had our Labor Day wedding at the Tilling House, and it was perfect. The venue is beautiful and spotless. Erica was incredibly kind and supportive throughout. Jackie and Gretchen took care of everything—from vendor tips to outfit changes—making the day stress-free. The food and dessert were outstanding, with guests still raving a month later. The bartenders crafted amazing drinks. The entire team made our day seamless. Highly recommend this venue for an unforgettable wedding! -

We had our wedding at Tillinghouse this past June, and it was the best day ever! Erica was so great to work with leading up, and she paid attention to every detail. Gretchen & Jackie and the entire TillingHouse staff were also incredible! They always made sure my now husband and I always had what we needed and were well fed throughout the day while sticking to our timeline. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food/drinks were, and how amazing the service was. We couldn't recommend TillingHouse enough! Thank you all! -

I got married this past sunday 4/6 and it was absolutely AMAZING. Since the start of the process when we booked the wedding november 2024 everything was so easy!!! Erica was our cooridnator and she is an absolute gem!! She cares for her brides and wants us to have the best time ever!! on our big day Erica and the staff at the Tilling House exeeded our expectaions!! They elgit did EVERYTHING for us- setting up bathroom baskets, welcome signs, allowing us to store things, helping clean up, handing out vendor tips...etc They legit do it all and do it with the BEST attitude. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we are so happy we went with the tilling house. It is a new venue, super clean, super organized and hands down has the BEST food. I have been to a few wedding venues in NJ and nothing beats this!! The guests talked about the food the entire times ( the lobster croquet/balls were a HUGE HIT). Hands down the most amazing night of our lives and i would recommend them for sure!!! 10/10 for everything!!!TillingHouse's reply:

We got married at The Tillinghouse in November 2024 and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
As first-time wedding planners (and hopefully last!), we had no idea what to expect, but the venue exceeded every expectation. Including making a pivot from our outdoor ceremony and moving it inside when it decided to rain for the first time in almost 2 months!
The transition was seamless, staff was proactive and it was obvious how they did whatever they could to make it perfect.
Atmosphere: The venue is stunning—elegant but warm and modern. This place does not give off cheesy wedding vibes, it is classy and with the times.
Staff: The team was incredible—professional, friendly, and attentive. Huge shout out to the amazing trio Erica, Jacki and Gretchen. Every staff member was calm and helpful, making us feel at ease all day. Even our guests were commenting on how friendly and attentive each staff member was.
The way our items and food were packed up for us at the end of the night left us speechless. They even labeled separate cookies for us based on a comment we made during the tasting about which ones each of us liked best.
Food & Drinks: The food was outstanding—our guests are still talking about the chicken piccata and the cocktail hour. Our signatures cocktails felt elevated in this venue from the look of the bar and the expertise of the staff. The Tillinghouse made our wedding day so unique and special.
Everything from the atmosphere to the service was flawless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night!!!!!!

Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more and we owe it all to the Tillinghouse staff!
From the moment we walked in to tour the venue last year, Erica made us feel right at home and helped us envision our day there. Any questions we had were answered promptly, any requests we made were strongly considered. Our wedding day was absolutely seamless. All of our guests are still talking about the food, gorgeous grounds and staff! The cocktail hour was stunning. We had a bit of a windy November day but you would never know it under the heat lamps in the cocktail hour space!
Our pictures are better than I could have ever imagined due to the beautiful golf course and venue. The bridal attendants Jackie and Gretchen went above and beyond to make sure I had anything and everything I needed. My bustle broke shortly into my reception and Jackie hand-sewed it back together herself and had me right back on the dance floor.
The bartenders were unbelievable! Ryan crafted up the best signature cocktail for me and all my guests loved it.
Every single person went out of their way to ensure my husband and I had the best night of our lives and it was nothing short of that!! I am sad our wedding is over but I’m looking forward to going out to dinner soon at Ember and Eagle and reliving my wedding day through the amazing food!!
Please book your wedding at the Tillinghouse you will NOT regret it!! -

The best venue!
Picking the Tillinghouse as our wedding venue was the absolute easiest and best decision! From the first tour to booking only a few days later with Erica, to our special day only 6 months later, it was such a smooth and easy process. Erica made us feel at ease with planning a wedding in a short time & honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way! She was there whenever we needed anything and was prompt with answering emails and all questions.
The Tillinghouse is easy to fall in love with as it sets itself apart from most other venues. It is unique, has its own vibe, and has SO much to offer amongst the whole property. From our beautiful outdoor ceremony during an October golden hour, to the outdoor cocktail hour under the heated veranda, to the high end modern ballroom- the grounds are simply beautiful each in their own way. The opportunities are endless. It is rare that you find a venue that you are happy with either plan A or plan B when it comes to the weather. It made it so much less stressful.
Erica was a dream to work with, along with the entire TH staff. From the bartenders, Ryan & Joe, who we worked closely with to Create our signature cocktails (which were such a hit), to our bridal attendants, Jackie & Gretchen, who literally went above & beyond in every aspect of the day (so impressive), the list goes on. Jackie was such a calming addition to the day I never knew I needed, I didn’t even have to think or ask for anything and she was there every transition of the day. I was blown away by her attentiveness and kindness. Everyone is so detail oriented with a focus on making sure everything ran smoothly and that we were happy.
Our cocktail hour was off the charts and our guests will forever be talking about how amazing the food was along with the high end cocktail options. Dinner entrees were even more impressive as they aren’t typical “wedding food” offerings. The TH really knows how to set itself apart from others and it shows. It was a first time visit for A lot of our guests along with most of our vendors and everyone raved about everything from start to finish.
We also opted to add on the cigar & scotch tasting bar which was a memorable touch! We were so impressed with how it was setup and it was thoroughly enjoyed by our guests.
We truly cannot thank Erica and the entire TH team for our absolutely perfect day from start to finish! We are so happy we live locally to visit often and reminisce as it is now one of our favorite places! Thank you TH staff for everything!!

If you are thinking about getting married at the Tilling House - we would 1000% recommend. We got married there on 9/21/24 and had 273 guests in attendance and a 14 piece band. Our guests are still talking about the cocktail hour food and drinks 6 weeks later - we still get texts weekly about it! The day of team on site is super knowledgeable and really accommodating. Erica was also so patient and helpful with all of our many questions and our day would have looked so different if we did not choose to get married at the Tilling House. Just love it there and so happy it was our wedding venue. -

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue that will exceed your expectations, The Tillinghouse is it! From the second we took our first tour, to the last dance of our wedding night, every aspect and every detail of this venue was perfection. Erica and her team were not only amazing on the day of our wedding, but made the entire planning process easy, enjoyable and fun.
Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the grounds and venue, the deliciousness of the food, the high end drinks and service, and overall the amazing effort that was put in by all involved. We continue to receive texts and calls about their experience at The Tillinghouse. We often respond with, "We know! We loved it too!" Even our band and photographer were blown away by the amenities of the venue that made their lives easier as well. For them, it was their first time there and they cannot wait to go back.
Brides, the day of might be stressful, but I cannot emphasize enough about how the bridal attendants, specifically Jackie and Gretchen, made everything seem easy. There were things that were done for us before we could even ask. We were blown away by their attention to detail and their quest to make our day a memorable one! They were so, so enjoyable to be around and were the ultimate hype girls for the day!
Erica, Jackie and Gretchen were the ladies behind the scenes that made all of it possible! We cannot thank them enough, and in fact, we can't wait to see them again! We can get tears in our eyes when thinking about how spectacular our day was.
When it comes down to it, we cannot recommend this venue enough! If we had to have another wedding, we would do it in the exact same place with the exact same people. My husband and I will cherish that day forever and are so thankful that we made our decision to have our wedding at The Tillinghouse!

I truly cannot speak highly enough of The Tilling House venue and the incredible team behind it. From the moment we first reached out, we were met with warmth, professionalism and personalization. Erica took the time to truly get to know us as a couple, making us feel valued and heard at every step. Her genuine excitement to work with us was evident, and it made us feel incredibly cared for and special. The team was extremely communicative, supportive and accommodating, which made the planning process truly stress free, and genuinely enjoyable. It’s evident how passionate they are about their work and their couples, and their commitment to excellence truly sets them apart.
The wedding day itself was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the AMAZING team. Their meticulous attention to detail and impeccable service is astounding, and was noticed by not only myself, but the entire bridal party. HUGE shoutout to our bridal attendants, Jackie & Gretchen! You went above and beyond in every possible way, and your dedication truly made our day unforgettable. From sewing my dad’s buttons on his shirt to getting on your hands and knees to scrub out a drink spill stain on my dress—making it look like it never even happened—you showed an incredible level of care. Your impeccable service and genuine kindness made the day what it was, and I can’t thank you both enough for all that you did!
Our guests were also blown away with the entire experience of the Tilling House. From the stunning embodiment of modern luxury in every corner you turn, to the amazing staff & service, and UNFORGETTABLE food, our guests couldn’t say enough. It’s been so fun to hear their amazing reviews, knowing it wasn’t only a night my husband and I will always remember, but our guests too. Your guests will be awestruck with everything the Tilling House is, that’s a guarantee.
So, in short, the decision is easy, it’s Tilling House. Nowhere else even comes close. Period.

Dream Wedding
Where do I even begin! My husband and I's dream wedding came to life at the Tilling House. Between the incredible staff from the moment we walked through those doors to start our day, to the incredible food it was an amazing experience.
We started our day pretty early and our bridal attendant, Erica, was helping myself and the bridal party with anything they needed to make sure the day started off smoothly. Having someone like Erica be by my side helped me focus on myself and have her assist in all the day to day tasks really made me at ease throughout the whole process.
The Tilling House team was incredible. Dominque & Erica were assisting myself and my husband's groom party throughout the morning to get the day going, and then they were with us every step of the way till that last glass of champagne was poured at midnight.
Our ceremony was outside in the beautiful courtyard, and we had our cocktail hour outside as well. I couldn't have asked for a better day for weather, but the best part was if it were to rain we had a back up plan which was very comforting. Because you never know with Mother Nature!
During cocktail hour we had stations set up with the most delicious food. My dream was to go full out for cocktail hour as that is my favorite part of any wedding I go to. And boy did Chef Ryan and his team out do themselves. Between the tuscan table, to the pasta stations, to the seafood stations every bite was a taste of excellence.
Our reception was inside, the venue holds 400 - 450 depending if you have a dance floor or not, and we had 248 as our final head count and we were able to utilize the space perfectly. We had an 11 person band that was at the head of the dance floor, and we had a sit down dinner which was important to us because my husband and I wanted to take a moment to ourselves and just enjoy our dinner at the sweetheart table.
When the reception ended that didn't mean the party was over. We had our after party in their Parlor room, and Parlor bar. We had a DJ in the parlor room, and a late night food station of burgers and fries. Everyone danced through the whole night.
The best part about the Tilling House venue is that their team is there with you by your side to make sure your day is stress free. The venue itself has so many options on how you can utilize the space. Having our wedding in September we were able to be inside and outside during our reception and I know our guests truly enjoyed that. Still to this day people are raving about how this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and I completely agree. Chef Ryans team did a superb job.
I wish I can have a wedding there every year because the vibe was amazing, the Tillinghouse team was amazing and better yet I got to marry the man of my dreams at the venue of my dreams. -
