I LOVED tiara styles beauty!! I had showed a picture from Pinterest for makeup, and she nailed it!! For the hair, I wanted all the volume with curls, and the volume stayed ALL day in the Florida humid heat! Tiara was amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone all day, everyday!! -

I had worked out the details on weddingwired before doing paperwork over email. It was very quick and easy and they were super responsive, especially considering that I had hired them a bit last minute. The price was very reasonable for both the hair styling and airbrush makeup and it all looked amazing! It took a good hour and a half but the makeup artist played met me on site, set up shop and got some music going. She was fun and silly and surprisingly geeky too so she got along well with my easy dropping friends and myself.
I didn't really have a clear idea of a hair or makeup style but she thought the reference pictures I had sent were lack luster but took the vision and upgraded it! She knew what she was doing for sure. :) I recommend them.
p.s - The hair and makeup lasted through a lot of sweating. -

Tiara styles beauty is an amazing team to work with!! I had them do my hair and makeup for my engagement in tampa, FL and loved them so much I had them again for my wedding in charlotte, NC! They are professional, reliable, flexible and just plain fun to work with! They were receptive to what the bridesmaids and I wanted done for hair and makeup and was able to customize everything for us. They had us laughing and relaxed all morning . They also took the time to do touch ups for everyone in between the ceremony and reception which i greatly appreciated!
I loved working with them, and I would highly recommend their services for any special event! -

I have a Mohawk and I needed someone who could help me create a classy look while still accepting my personal style. Tiara answered all my prayers! She looked at my inspiration board on Pinterest and quickly designed the perfect updo!
She was always quick to reply to my messages, arrived early, and had the most energetic and bubbly personality that my MIL insisted I hire her within minutes of meeting her!
The day of the wedding I was on day 4 of the Flu and still felt like death. She worked her magic and not a single guest had a clue! I look amazing in the photos, and I can say that through watery eyes, nausea, and a fever- my lashes stayed put, the contour was on point, and my lipstick didn’t budge. For 6 hours! She is made of magic!

Erica Sent on 11/14/2017Tiara was amazing! When I contacted her I was at a loss as to how to make my Mohawk look classy for my wedding. I had interviewed several hair and MUA who All gave me a halfhearted shrug and assured me that they could come up with ‘something’. Not Tiara, she looked at a few of my inspirational images and quickly was able to design the perfect updo!
Also, the day of my wedding I was super sick and trying to get over the flu I’d had for a week. My skin was terrible, eyes watery, and still nauseous. After Tiara was done, none of my guests had any idea I had been sick (or was still fighting to feel better). I looked amazing in my photos!
Also, she was always super fast to reply to all my messages and was early for all appointments. I can not recommend her enough!!! -

She got there early, she made us feel so comfortable, she helped me get in my dress and placed my veil, and did an absolutely amazing job with hair and makeup. I cried so much and we took a boat ride with so much wind and my hair and makeup stayed put all day and night. What a miracle worker. I can't express enough how grateful and thankful I am to have found and had Tiara with me that day. The best day. Thank you.

Christina Sent on 10/17/2017Tiara, was super friendly! I only have one small critique, timeliness. I know the expression, "fashionably late," is expected of the bride but I wish I could have had about 5 mins to breathe before heading out the door. I ended up being 30 mins late. I feel like maybe some of that could have been my fault, but I'm not sure. I figured an hour and a half would have been enough time to do my chin length hair and makeup. She was nice enough to help me in my dress and I appreciate that but the hustle and bustle was a little lax. Makeup looked gorgeous and my hair was nice. I would recommend this makeup artist for events but perhaps allow a little larger time window! :)

Payment was very difficult and stressful on my wedding day as I was advised last minute that only PayPal or Cashapp would be accepted... as my girls were planning to all pay for their own services and no one had these payment options but me I had the hassle of paying $630 for all of the services and collecting the money from everyone later! -

Tiara,
Please take time to read this and put yourself in my shoes. I was very upset deep down with what took place on Saturday feb 22nd 2020. You saw it on my face and in my body language that I was having mental breakdowns. That I truly was not having the best experiences a bride should have been provided with their wedding parties hair for my one and only wedding day I will ever get!!!
At the same time I did not have the energy anymore or was able to handle any more drama or for me to disrespect anyone near the end. That is why I was putting on a loving face when service was complete because if I told you the truth I thought you and I would have words like I am beginning to see now and I just couldn’t take anymore that day or I would of been going to the hospital for a full blown panic, anxiety attack.
I needed sometime to write down some things and collect myself to speak with you calmly and respectfully especially after having my goodbye brunch with many of My guest that traveled from out of town and took the time to celebrate with me plus the whole wedding party joined the brunch Yesterday. I am a very sweet person and I want the best for everyone. That I needed to tell you the honest truth. I know you might not really care about me or my feelings especially now that my mother in law had words with you even though I can not control her feelings or actions.
Tiara, I went and paid with all my wedding money I got as a gift that was supposed to pay for the purchase of my new home and repaid all of my wedding party that had paid for hair and make up. I gave them all their money back because they were all very upset during the brunch yesterday. Now I am out over $1500.00. They all truly told me how they felt about the service. They mentioned how poor your staffs service was and how rude your one staff member was being towards the women and that they were afraid to tell you! You did send the one staff member home once I made multiple complaints to you and you may have taken appropriate actions with that staff member but unfortunately it Happened and delayed my wedding dramatically.
Most of them were in tears!! One of my bridesmaids Sam had to completely wash her hair after getting her hair done by a staff member of yours. She gave a photo of what hair style she wanted to your staff and it came out nothing like the picture. She came to you and told you she was disappointed and unsatisfied and she didn’t want to get her hair redone because how upset she was and that we were running out of time. That was a waste of hair time for her to have her hair done by a professional and she absolutely hated it then had to go and do her own.
My bridesmaids Emilys first hairstyle looked like a birds nest and then had to be redone. (Another waste of time) She didn’t even want to tell me how bad she hated it till I begged her to be honest with you and myself. Then she had it redone and paid for her hair and make up because I was so stressed out with how far behind we were on the hair and make up schedule that she didn’t want to put any more stress on me which i told you multiple times.
I even texted you asking when you would be returning because I was displeased with the service and I was worried. I asked to speak with you in private by the pool and told you face to face. Woman to woman that I was very unhappy. I then kept coming up to you over and over expressing how worried I was with how behind we were with hair because everyone was upset with their hair and complaining they their hair was falling out, not holding curls and not what they asked for and you kept telling me over to try and relax, you would fix it. When Emily and i talked behind closed doors Saturday at the wedding she was in tears that she paid for both and hated it.
My sister Kims hair had to be fixed three times. The photo she showed the staff that she wanted her first round with her hair did not come out at all like the photo then the second one they did was unflattering that I had to come to you twice to tell you I did not like the side pony thing that was done. I could see it in her face she hated it but was uncomfortable to be honest and say that. I finally had to put my foot down and ask you to completely redo it. Then by 830pm on Saturday 40% of the Bobby pins were coming out of the side of her hair style she was given and her hair was no longer pulled to the one side like it should of been all night. She also paid because she didn’t want to put more stress on me.
My sister Marissas braid had to be fixed twice and then she ended up fixing it by herself because it had pieces of hair sticking out the braid. Another person who paid to try and keep the peace due to the amount of stress.
My bridesmaid Dani sat around with her hair and makeup done for over three hours and then had to ask last minute for someone to fix the back of her curls because they were falling out from being done so early.
My best friend jade (bridesmaid) had to get her hair done twice because the first time her curls were not even done right and I have photos of how it looked the first time. All her curls were completely flat 10 minutes later and the “flower” she wanted in her hair looked nothing like the pictures she asked for and then had to get a whole different hairstyle then what she really wanted the second time around.
My birth moms hair had to be done twice since her hair was supposed to be half up and curly and her hair fell out of the half up and was not curly so it had to be redone.
My mother in laws hair looked like crap the first time around (another waste of time) and had to be redone.
My step mom had an appointment with you and she didn’t get any service at all. She had to do both her own hair and makeup because there was NOT enough time at all and if she did get it done like she was scheduled for we would of been even more late then we already were. She was very very upset that she booked an appointment then stood around waiting for her turn until she realized how late it was and did it herself to save time.
My one flower girl was on the schedule for hair and my sister had to do her hair because there was not enough time to do it since it was already 5 by the time you even started on the flower girls and jr bridesmaid when the wedding started at 5pm. (I have many witnesses that noticed that) She may haven been crying that she didn’t want her hair done but that wasn’t her decision. It was what I wanted. I was the bride that day. Yet I decided last minute to have my sister do her hair because we needed to get her hair done. Only you and Your staff member Vee were the only two left to do hair and make up for a bridal party of 13.
I was up and ready at 7am for my hair like you had asked and You started off amazing with ME and ONLY ME! Yet you left and went to do another brides hair when I booked you for that day. If I knew you were booking another wedding that day and wouldn’t be with me the whole service I put the deposit down for then I would of found a boutique that would have been. I specifically told you before booking with you that I was having trouble finding someone and asked you many times if you were definitely free to book my wedding Feb 22nd 2020. You assured me you did not have anything booked that day. You never mentioned once to me that you had to do another wedding that day till you arrived at 7am. When we talked the night before you only mentioned you had to be to me at 7am to start putting my hair in rollers and the extensions in then I could go relax for a few hours. Due to you booking my wedding and then booking another bride on the same day I booked with a deposit for your services that day. You left and then you got stuck in traffic and arrived back to my wedding late. (You said that in texts if you need me to screen shot it and show you) If you had just stayed like I hired you to do in the first place then you would of been there when all the girls were extremely upset with hair and could of been there to delegate your staff properly to do the right hairstyles the first time so we would of been right on schedule. You had to send a stylist home in the middle of my wedding day because her service was unacceptable and she had a Pout on her face the whole time. You also sent a stylist that had to leave in the middle of my service to go to work with another company. I ended up with just Vee and you half way through the service which was obviously not enough stylist with the amount of woman I had booked with you before the wedding. You had me send you exactly who wanted hair and make up done by you days before the wedding so you could create a time to keep everything and everyone involved on a schedule so we could stay on track on time. Yet your staff did not follow the time line and had me running around calling all the bridesmaids to be in the room by 10am because they were going off the schedule and having whoever was there in the room to go before their scheduled time.
My sister Marissa had to rush to the hotel when she had plans to do some things for the set up of my wedding before her scheduled time but since everyone was being done when it was not their time there she was unable to do that for me.
If we stayed to schedule I wouldn’t of needed to have all my wedding party in the room all at the same time wondering when it was there time when some wanted to take pictures of their husbands that were groomsmen with my husband but didn’t want to leave and cause anymore commotion.
Even though I didn’t want photos of the robes with my girls that didn’t mean I didn’t pay for specific pictures to be taken with me and my girls dressed before the wedding in the bridal suit. That was just one photo I changed. I never once said I didn’t want any photos done. Once my photographers came in the room and no one was dressed or even ready to start because everyone needed redos they had to inform me that it may not get done so I asked them to do what they could and I expressed to them how upset I was with the hair and how worried I was we would not be ready in time but I PREPAID my photographer for specific pictures that meant a lot to me that I wanted done of my bridesmaids, flower girls and mothers fully dressed sitting on and around the couch, downstairs by the door, and pictures of my girls helping me get button up in my dress. I know you don’t care because it wasn’t your money that paid for the photographers. Those were very important to me!
Also They are a witness that I was NOT done BY 2:45pm! I wasn’t fully done till after 5pm Tiara and MY photographer took a photo on her phone of a photo on her phone That shows a time on it for proof! I am more then happy to have them send it directly to you.
My wedding coordinator also had to come and speak with you about how late we were and how upset and stressed out I was because of the poor service. She is also a witness along with all my wedding party that I was not done by 2:45 or even close to that. It was way after 5pm.
You didn’t even give me a choice if I wanted you to stay after the service was completed two hours late! You told me you were going to and when I said “what if I do not need the touch ups you said I’m doing it as a favor and wouldn’t even let me discuss another option because you knew I was trying to ask you for some other kind of compensations for how late, upset and unhappy I was. you immediately brushed me off. You NEVER touched up one of my wedding parties hair or makeup after the ceremony like you told me was the reason for staying after because there was not enough time and you knew that based on that we were already so far behind.
I was over an hour late to my own ceremony which then pushed back my cocktail hour. Since you claimed you were a bridesmaid multiple times you know you only have an hour after ceremony to squeeze as many photos of the whole wedding party as they can in that one hour and then you have to go right into the reception. There is no time to do touch ups especially being we were already hours behind. My wedding started at 5pm, 5:20-6pm cocktail hour and reception started at 6pm till 10pm but I didn’t actually start till 630pm, cocktail started at 7:15pm and reception started at 8:15pm. That only gave me from 8:15-10pm to celebrate with my family in the reception room. That’s less then 2 hours.
All the photos I wanted with My wedding party could not be taken because we were not done ON TIME with hair and makeup. Many of the photos that I prepaid for to be done before the ceremony could not be taken on time and I had to do try and get what I could during the cocktail hour. I wasn’t able to get all the very important family photos I wanted done because we ran out of time. That is something I will never ever be able to get back or taken ever again. It’s heartbreaking! I’m extremely crushed and sad especially because my dad didn’t get one photo he wanted and had already paid for.
You interrupted the photographers time while we were getting photos done outside and started telling people were to stand when that was the photographers job and made them very upset.
I was in tears, having a mental breakdown outside during the photo session because we were so behind schedule due to hair and makeup provided by your company. You even came over to me during that time to try and talk when the photographers were trying to do that so they could get us done. You came over because you knew I was not happy at all with how late we were from hair and make up not being done on time. Plus That was not your job to place the wedding party where the photographers needed the party to stand, even if you were trying to help or not.
You then interrupted my family photos demanding me to pay for my service and my mother in laws payment when you knew we were rushing to get back inside because we only had two hours left of the reception room.
You never told me I would be charged for my extensions to be put in and forced me to pay that when my sister would of done that for FREE. That’s what she does for a living and I would of had her done them Friday night after she picked them up from her job and put them in my head if I knew you were going to charge me to put them in. When I spoke to you about them you should of mentioned that immediately so I could of decided if I wanted to pay to have them put in by you or have my sister do them for free. The only reason why I paid my full balance for MY HAIR was because I was being rushed to get inside and couldn’t deal with anymore drama.
YOU said in front of my family, friends,back up DJ and photographers that ONLY me and MY MOM in law owed money when we were outside and I asked you 3x are you sure just me and her and you said YES. The next day you tell me that my mother in law, my aunt and the JR bridesmaid while on the phone with me that they all owe still and I asked you more then once again to be 100 percent clear and again you said YES to just them. Then as soon as we hang up you then send me a text and add another flower girl.
Lastly I did not want you to stay after you finished hair and make so far behind but YOU CHOOSE TO even after I said “what if We don’t need you?” and you insisted on staying and again NO ONE used you but me and all you did was fix my eye lashes that were falling off when I pointed that out to you in the bridal suit and you said it was just the glue had dried when you knew I noticed it was not properly placed on the eyes in the bridal suit before I headed to the ceremony. I knew it was not put on properly since my sister works for Monaco’s salon and does hair and make up for a living and has done my make up many times. I also had to have you fix my curls in the back of my hair because the curls did not look exactly like the photo. I eventually agreed it was fine because I was so beyond annoyed, stressed and worried that I knew I didn’t have time to tell you it did not look the exact same way. I can show you the photo of what you did and what I wanted next to each other. I had to have you fix the poof on my head right before I walked out the door because I was not happy with it. The only reason why I was so nice to you after it all was done was because I just wanted you to leave and I wanted to make sure none of my bridal party got treated any more poorly then they already felt or that anymore service was done any more poorly then it was already.
I could not handle any more stressed. Which you know I was under with all the pacing back and forth over and over about how behind we were on hair and makeup. Plus That all my woman are upset and stressed. You and I both know woman to woman that you and your staff were very unprofessional that day and that your staff was not doing exactly what was being asked and that is why you sent one staff member home early. If your staff did everything right the first time like it was supposed to be for hair and make up we would of not had to have everyone’s redone more then once some girls three times!!!!
My sister Renee had to even wash her face because she was not satisfied with what was done to her eye makeup the first time it was done. You even said to your staff less make up.
I didn’t get one photo of myself and my son before the ceremony! Do you not know how important that was to me! This was my one and only wedding and I will never ever ever be able to get that back. I will never be able to get back the two hours of reception I lost with my guest. They also expressed how upset they were that they flew miles and miles that cost them a lot of money to only see me for 30mins at ceremony and two hours at the reception!
If I am being honest with you and talking to you woman to woman calmly.. how would you feel if you paid over 35,000.00 not including what my wedding party had to pay for on hair and make up that I ended up reimbursing them for out of my wedding money that we only got to do a 30 min ceremony (which my officiant cut short to make up some time and my husband and myself cut out our vows and had to switch to the vows of a book and repeating them from the officiant. (Now that I think about that it is breaking my heart girl) I wasted so much money because hair and make up was not on time.
I hope you can truly understand how depressed I am over everything I missed out on that I had already paid for because of hair and make up not done on time. You should be really understanding since you have been in so many wedding that every minute is precious when you spend so much money on the one and only wedding you will ever have in your life and can never get it back.
I hope you can come to some kind of agreement on how we can fix this and possibly return some of my money I had to lose to pay back my wedding party especially because now I do not have all the money from my wedding gift money I needed to us to pay for the new house and will be losing the house now.
If you can not work with me on some kind of compensation back to me then I am going to have to have my wedding party and guest contact the BBB and report it, put reviews on social media and let future friends, family and people we know to not use your services which is your business and livelihood that will be effected because of that and that is not the route I want to take or go down. Please let me know ASAP if you can compensate me back with some kind of payment for poor customer service. Please Tiara!!!
