Best DJ ever!!!

Aaron is the BEST!! He made not only my wedding day, but the planning go flawlessly! I couldn't have done it without him. From helping with the day of coordination to giving suggestions about my menu layout....I couldn't have asked for a better DJ ('wedding coordinator"). From the first song to the very last the dance floor was packed! Best day ever!!!!

Amazing DJ!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ than Aaron! He was the absolute best. He was so helpful with setting up our wedding day timeline, affordable, and kept people on the dance floor all night long! He helped my husband and I stick up for ourselves when some people were trying to persuade us to change things about our wedding. If you're looking for a greay DJ Aaron is your guy!

Aaron is awesome!

Aaron is extremely professional, responsive, and talented. He was well organized and really kept the party going! His services are extremely well priced and everything was top quality! He did my ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception. Everything was perfect! We had a couple last minute additions to our schedule even and he ran with it. Highly recommend!!!!

Absolutely would recommend

Aaron was extremely professional and chose amazing songs. The dance floor was busy all night long. The night flowed perfectly. We used the uplighting and the monogram dance floor and the room looked amazing. The photo booth was also so much fun my guests loved the unlimited prints and the option to text the photo to themselves. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Dance, dance, dance!

Aaron was fantastic and was easily our best vendor! From our first meeting with Aaron he made our lives easier. He was extremely organized and helpful. We meet with him twice before our wedding day and he made sure to really get a feel for my wife and I's taste in music and the vibe we were going for throughout the night. One of our favorite things about Aaron was his willingness and ability to help captain the ship. Our rehearsal and Wedding went very smoothly in large part because of his ability to organize our wedding party and guest.

He did a fantastic job of keeping our guest engaged in on their feet! So many of our guest said they loved the music and loved the games like dash for cash, or the shoelywed game even more. I would recommend Aaron to anyone!!! Throw Yo Hands Up Entertainment definitely lived up to the name!

Great guy to work with!

Makes sure that all your needs are taken care of musically. Provides sheet with all of the music that you choose and when they will be played to help choose songs for event. Great service and price.

DJ/Wedding Coordinator

We could not have had our special day without Aaron. He was so unbelievably professional and helpful. My husband and I really didn't give him much direction and he was able to guide us through the entire process. Aaron's set up was better than we could have ever hoped for and he was friendly and engaging with the crowd. The thing that surprised me was that he stuck by the timeline and made sure that we stuck by it as well! We did not have a wedding coordinator and I felt like Aaron filled that void and it was just so natural for him. We could not have done any of the planning (song lists) or the day of without him. You will NOT be disappointed with Throw Yo Hands Up Entertainment!

Aaron was truly amazing! He made the whole night possible and stress free! He was able to accommodate to the most odd song requests of all time. I cannot say enough good things about Aaron and how he played such a huge role in making our day so special. From our first meeting he was thorough and professional, helping us through all of the details (including the ones I didn't even realize were details). I felt completely at ease letting Aaron make decisions on parts of the ceremony/reception that I didn't have time or energy to research. Our reception was an absolute blast, which everyone knows is in the DJ's hands. My recommendation: book Aaron before he books up, he will make your wedding exactly what you dream of. Aaron was amazing! He DJ’ed at our wedding on June 1st and absolutely killed it. I had a little trouble letting the reins go - he remained patient with me and made sure everything went off without a hitch. The music was stellar, he stuck to our genres and played a great mix for all situations. Everyone loved the shoely wed game, the photo booth, and the dancing!

Uplights were tasteful and the album from the photo booth was very thoughtful!

A++ he was a great guy to work with and the price doesn’t break the bank!

Aaron and his team were AMAZING. I found Aaron through my brother in law and his wife as they used his photo booth service for their wedding. It was such a hit that I knew I needed all of his services for mine and my now husbands wedding. From booking to the end of our wedding day, Aaron never failed to please. Summary: Absolutely fantastic. Organized, professional, great communication from Day 1. Stayed on top of everything at the wedding and kept the dance floor packed all night.

We found Aaron at an Ann Arbor bridal show and immediately liked him. He clearly explained his packages, pricing, and approach. He was very easy to work with the entire time and had organized lists and papers for us to fill out that would cover everything he would need to know for the wedding day. Aaron needed zero direction at the wedding and stayed on top of everything. Our reception started to hit a snag when our venue’s standard 90 minutes for dinner wound up being way too long. Aaron noticed this at the same time we did and worked with the venue and other vendors to get dinner cleaned up early and move the whole reception timeline up by 30 minutes. He even helped clean up the buffet. He did an excellent job reading our group and had people out on the dance floor the entire night. We highly recommend!

Aaron was a joy to work with and made planning our entertainment super easy! I was living out of country while planning and Aaron could not have done a better job helping us with the process. Our dance floor was full the entire night and our guests complimented us on the DJ and music choices all through the night. The photo booth was a blast for both young and old. Aaron made the night a night that many will not forget!

Aaron did such a job as our DJ. From our first meeting with him, he was very professional and organized. He talked the reception out with us beforehand and made sure everything would flow how we wanted it to. He was great at offering suggestions on what would work best. At the reception, he did a nice job of keeping things moving along. The music he played during dinner was not too loud, and everyone appreciated being to talk to one another. He did a great job getting people on the dance floor, and it seemed like no one left from that point on! He also did some up-lighting on the trees outside our venue, and it gave the space a warm feel with the reception space having floor to ceiling windows throughout. Overall, we would recommend his services to anyone!

Throw yo hands up entertainment was amazing!! Aaron always responded to my emails right away and kept in touch with me and kept me updated. He played the exact music I wanted, and he made the night flow very well. Everything was perfect! He was even very accommodating to last minute changes. The photo booth was also awesome! The props were hilarious and the photo book that we received was my favorite part of the night. His co-worker AJ, who worked the photo booth, was amazing too. We have a 3 year old son that we were trying to keep entertained the whole night and when we got the photos, we saw that there were so many of our son in the photo booth. AJ was helping him and giving him props to use. That meant so much to us and those are amazing memories to have. We cannot say enough about these guys. They were truly amazing and they made our night absolutely wonderful!

We cannot say enough about this DJ and his services. He was awesome and very helpful. The reception hall looked amazing with all of his up-lighting and their names illuminated on the floor was beautiful. The photo booth was a hit as well, the guests loved it and had a blast with it. He kept things on track and was more then willing to change things if needed. If you need a DJ Aaron is the one to go to, he will make your event unforgettable.

Aaron is an outstanding DJ. He accommodated my musical requests (old-school country) during the appropriate times and once people hit the dance floor, he kept it full all night with a great variety of music. You could tell he was really watching the dance floor and adjusting the play list to the crowd's preferences. We heard from many of our guests that the music was GREAT all night. It made the reception so much more fun!

Aaron does more than play music, he makes sure we have all pieces of the reception in place (cake cutting, special dances, speeches, etc.) and keeps us on schedule. He also met with us before the wedding and had a lot of helpful suggestions regarding the timeline and drew out some floor plan options for our reception hall.

We rented the photobooth service for our wedding reception, too. This added an extra fun activity for our guests and we got a photo album with all the pictures. Since we had a lot of guests, we didn't get to spend a lot of time with each one, so we loved looking at their photo booth pics the next day to see they were having a fun time! The booth was spacious enough for group pics, which were a hit! A few guests requested copies of them because of how funny they turned out, and Aaron had them available digitally within a few days. Also, I want to note that we made a mess rifling through the photo booth props but it was never cluttered. AJ must have been continuously reorganizing the props and keeping things tidy. I think this helped move people through faster and just kept a more professional appearance. Little things like that really make a difference.

Throw Yo Hands Up is hands down the best DJ service around.

Aaron did an outstanding job at our reception! We had over 500 guests and he controlled the crown very well. Everything ran VERY smooth thanks to him. Even prior to the wedding Aaron was well organized and responsive.

Aaron and his team are GREAT!! He is so organized and is a huge help at keeping the reception running smoothly. We also used their photo booth and this was so much fun for all of our guests and the book they put together with everyone's photos is a great memory for us from the night. Aaron was wonderful to work with! He was so professional and friendly! He was also extremely organized when it came to the schedule of events for the evening. That took a lot of stress off me as the bride knowing that he had all the timing handled. I highly recommend Aaron for your next event!

Aaron DJ'd our wedding a few years back and was amazing at what he does! He did both our wedding and reception and went above and beyond his DJ duties. The dance floor stayed full all night and all great music was played the entire time. I would highly recommend throw your hands up DJ to everyone!

Aaron is amazing at what he does! He kept everything rolling for my reception and kept everything right on time! When he needed to take charge he did and it was appreciated so I didn't have to worry. The music he played made everybody happy and the dance floor was filled all night. All of my requests were filled and he made sure everything I had asked for happened. He even fulfilled requests from my guests which was perfect!

Aaron was outstandingly professional and everything went off without issue. During the wedding planning process he helped us figure out ordering and whether timing made sense from weddings he had DJ'd before. During the wedding he MC'd and everything flowed efficiently.

Music selection was great. Played a good variety for the various guests and kept everyone on the dance floor.

On top of that, for both the booth and DJ, came out to be the most affordable option available.

Aaron was simply amazing. He went above and beyond to do the music not only for our reception but our ceremony. We got the package with a photobooth included and it was a BIG HIT at our wedding reception. Throw Yo Hands Up Entertainment DJ Service/Aaron Helber provided dj service at my daughter Amanda's wedding reception. I never had to worry about the music the entire evening, he is so organized, played all the music we requested and we had a great time. I would highly recommend him and will use his services again if need be. I've taken part in his photo booth operations a couple times and the booth is also a great feature.

Aaron was an amazing DJ at our wedding reception! He was so much fun and the dance floor was packed ALL night!! We got so many compliments on our DJ as well as the photo booth! We got a photo book as well as USB with everyone's photos on it! So much fun! The uplighting he did around the hall really made our reception 10x more beautiful! Aaron was very professional and attentive. He made the evening perfect. He was very helpful with directing the party. The music was perfect. He played exactly what I requested. The lighting was an unexpected bonus, it really set the tone of the evening. All of the guest enjoyed the Jazz for dinner and the fun oldies music for dancing. For an older crowd at a 50th anniversary party they sure enjoyed the music and dancing. Aaron always responded quickly to my emails and answered all of my questions. His pricing made it affordable to have a DJ service for a small party. I would highly recommend his services. Well done!

I have heard from so many people about the photo booth at our wedding. All of our friends and family had so much fun with the photo booth! We were given a book that was done so that people could write notes to us next to their pictures and those are priceless! We had 200 guests at our wedding, so it was hard to find time to chat with everyone, so the guest book was a great way for us to "connect" with guests we didn't get a chance to chat all that much with and allowed us to receive more casual "well wishes." We got so many laughs out of looking at everyone's pictures, messages they had written, and which props they chose. The prop selections were endless and allowed everyone to show their true personalities and just let loose! I would 100% recommend Throw Yo Hands Up Entertainment to any bride!

Aaron's skills and organization is something that needs to be recognized. He is so attentive to every single detail that you wish he planned your entire wedding! Aaron met with my husband and I before our wedding and assured us that everything would run smoothly. Rough weather, caterers showing up an hour late, and pictures taking far too long put Aaron in control of smoothing the timeline over and making everything flow. He went above and far beyond our expectations and we had absolutely no worry about anything because he handled everything for us. Our guests were raving about his music selections and his lighting he did and he made our night so unforgettable. We want Aaron to be well recognized. We can't say enough about Aaron. Our reception went flawlessly and Aaron had a ton to do with that. From the initial phone consultation, to the day of the even everything went smooth. The music was phenomenal, and even people who wouldn't normally dance were out on the floor dancing. The lighting and logo of our names matched our wedding colors very well, and we couldn't of been happier for the great service we received at an affordable price. We would highly would recommend hiring this DJ if you're in/around the southeastern MI area.

Aaron was fantastic!!! From the first time we met him, he was professional, attentive, courteous, and fun. With so many DJ companies, you may not interact much with your DJ until your wedding. That is not the case with Aaron and I think that is what makes his company so special. He was communicative throughout the whole process, was always on time, and kept the energy up all night! I felt completely at ease about the music throughout the whole wedding process, which was awesome. To top it all off, he is very reasonably priced.The lighting was fantastic as well and everyone kept remarking about how they loved how kept everyone informed via announcements. Would highly recommend him!!

Throw Yo Hands Up Dj Service was a true blessing for my wedding reception. I was having trouble findng a dj service (that I liked) and found Aaron by accident on facebook. I met with him and from the first meeting - I knew he was the DJ I wanted to use. His professionalism, attention to detail, energy, and packages with lighting. etc was much higher than any other dj I had found previous to our meeting. I have no regrets in hiring Aaron. He was amazing. He was fun, on time, and allowed us to celebrate all through the night! Everyone at my reception complemented us on our dj selection. He allowed everyone to feel involved with the evening as he took requests from everyone including the kids. He had every song we requested. He came out and danced with us!! Great Party Music

Aaron picked great music and listened to our suggestions to keep the dancing going throughout the night. He was able to come to our rehearsal and get everything set up the night before. A few of the names were mispronounced even with phonetic spelling, but overall he did a great job.
