Best live band experience!

Jamie and Threshold Party Band were incredible. They put on an amazing party and our guests have been non-stop raving about how fun they were. Not to mention, they sounded great as well. They were super flexible in working with us to help bring our specific vision to life in terms of our song choices and helped maintain the flow of the reception like a pro. I cannot recommend them enough!

Threshold provided the entertainment that we were looking for. Their selection of music was great and did everything we asked them to do. If you want a lot of people on the dance floor the entire night, you want to book this band. They were very professional in every way.

Threshold was an AMAZING band! They performed for our wedding reception and made the night so memorable! I received so many comments from the guests that the band was awesome. They did a great job at getting everybody on the dance floor! I wish the night could have gone longer. Time flies when your having so much fun! I would HIGHLY recommend Threshold to anyone. Thank you so much for making our night so special to us!

Best. Band. EVER!

I first saw the Threshold Party Band at my friend's wedding and they were, without question, one of the best live-band experiences I've ever had. Please note that I say "live-band experience" and not "party-band experience" because these guys out perform ANY party band I've ever seen.

Once I saw them at my friend's wedding, my now-husband and I agreed that we HAD to do whatever we could to book them for our wedding - and I am beyond grateful and happy that we were able to!! The band themselves are so much fun, and they're AMAZING at what they do. There was never a dull moment at our wedding and we owe that mostly to the Threshold Party Band. They engaged both myself and my husband throughout the night, and were super accommodating to any guest requests (within reason, of course!)

If you're on the fence about them DON'T BE and just hire them!! You, your fiance and your wedding guests will not regret it!!!!!

Amazing Wedding Party Band

Okay so it was very important to the bride and groom that the band be amazing...and they were!!! Most of our guests spent the evening on the dance floor and had so much fun.
Jamie was so attentive during the planning of the reception. Such a pleasure to work with.

Unbelievable Wedding Experience

Threshold Party Band is responsible for making our wedding an unforgettable experience. Threshold is flexible, experienced, and professional and will work with you to make your event exactly what you want it to be. My family and friends, from 8 to 93 years old, had an outstanding time and danced the night away. Jamie Lee Hart is a seasoned emcee as well! I could not recommend this group of professionals more!

Excellent Party!

I would 100% recommend Threshold Party Band- Jamie emcee-ing the reception was perfect. He has a great charismatic presence and really knows how to get the party started! He also did a great job pronouncing our last name - it's not easy. The band can really shred and we tore up the dance floor in response! We also got off to a late start due to a late photographer and the band was flexible and willing to stay and play longer (for a small fee of course). That was really awesome because we were not ready for the party to end!

Jamie and Threshold were phenomenal to work with for our wedding back in March! Not to mention, their amazing talent and flexibility in and around everything related to the reception. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, lively, energetic wedding!

We first heard Threshold at a friend's wedding. We loved them! They played fun dance music and everyone had a great time!! When we started planning for our daughter's wedding, Threshold was the first band that we contacted!! They were great to work with! Very professional, reliable and such a fun band!! Everyone loved them and had a wonderful time! So needless to say, when we were planning for our second daughter's wedding, we did not hesitate calling Jamie Lee! We were so happy to have them again! They were great and I would highly recommend them for weddings or other special occasions!!! We were very happy to have threshold play at both of our daughters' weddings!!

Such a fun band!

Not only did my husband and I love the band, but our guests did too! We had so much fun dancing all night and the band was so interactive and energetic! Would highly recommend

Best decision ever

Threshold Party Band was the best wedding decision we ever made! Having a live band was at the top of my wish list for our big day, and Threshold Party Band delivered. They sounded AMAZING live, and their DJ breaks also played great party songs for the crowd. Our guests danced the entire reception, and we couldn't have asked for a better day. It was a blast! And so much of that is thanks to the band. We will never forget their performance!

Called the party band for a reason

Jamie and crew were amazing to work with from the second we found them. We were pretty discouraged because our original band bailed on us, but clearly a blessing in disguise. They were so much fun, played awesome music and kept the crowd going. We had pretty fun guests, but if you are worried about getting people on the dance floor BOOK THEM. Impossible to sit with Threshold on the stage. Thanks for making our day so fun!

Simply Amazing & BEST Choice EVER!

We had heard Threshold play locally a few times and hired them for my daughter's wedding. BEST DECISION!!!! They were so engaged, so accommodating and SO GOOD! Jamie listened to us, fulfilled our vision with precision and was the highlight of the wedding (after the bride & groom). You cannot go wrong with hiring them for your wedding!

The band did a great job keeping the flow of the event going as it should. The music played at the beginning of the evening, as dinner was being served, was more relaxed and then they really started to get the party going after the cake cutting. They were very accomodating of my requests for specific songs and played a wide variety of music. The band interacted with the guests to help keep things entertaining and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun. The sound quality was great and many people who attended the reception commented that they were very impressed with the band...and these comments were coming from people who attend a lot of weddings with even one person being a wedding DJ himself. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the band's performance and would highly recommend them.

Jamie Hart was absolutely wonderful to work with. He took his time to work with me on the reception schedule which made me feel very comfortable. He worked great with all of my other vendors as well. After the ceremony, we had nothing to worry about besides having fun. This band really threw the party for our one of a kind group. I've never seen my dad or my mom dance out of the dance floor and never imagined them doing so and this band somehow managed to get them out on the dance floor. This is really a band for all ages and they were able to accommodate everyone. They did an incredible performance that made me as a bride feel very special. They also sang our first dance song, which couldn't have been performed any better! This was most definitely the best night of my night & everyone really had a blast thanks to the best band ever!!! We had several complements! It was really more than I had even hoped for. I will never be able to thank you enough for your hard work and making my reception so much fun!

Jamie was awesome to work with. Prior to my daughters wedding he met with us at our home and went over how we wanted the reception to flow and all the music our daughter and fiancée wanted. Also, since the ceremony and reception were at our home we needed setup done prior to the ceremony. Jamie and the band were on site early to accommodate our timeline. With Jamie's suggestions and all the follow up he did the night flowed flawlessly. The bands interaction with the wedding party and guests kept the dance floor full all night. All of our guests had a great time!!

Could not have picked a better band for our wedding. The band did the sound and speakers for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music and first dances, in addition to performing for our reception.

On-time, professional, asks all the right questions, and made all the right decisions as to what music to play. Jamie is so nice and puts your mind at ease. The band even did an encore song after the crowd chanted for it. All our guests are still raving about the band-it MADE our wedding. These guys are worth twice what they charge.

If you want a party, Threshold is your band!!! They are AMAZING!! They had everybody (from teenagers to 70+ folks) breaking it down on the dance floor all night long. They are great at keeping the party going!! They really engage the crowd and get everyone involved in the music, which is so much fun! I also cannot say enough good things about Jamie Lee. He is committed to making your wedding day perfect, and even coordinated with our wedding planner to come up with a timeline for our reception. He was very responsive, and always responded to my emails the same day I sent them. They are also a GREAT value!! Wedding bands can be ridiculously expensive. Threshold is affordable and absolutely incredible. If I had to do it over again, I would choose Threshold every time!!

My husband & I were so happy that we used Threshold for our wedding. They were a great band & kept the guests engaged & on the dance floor. They played such a variety of music so our guests of all ages all seemed to enjoy themselves. Jamie was great in his communication with me & always responded so quickly. They are so talented & we are so happy that we used them for our wedding. Great music was especially very important to my husband because he loves it and they were awesome!

Jamie Lee and Threshold were the perfect wedding band for us and we highly recommend them. We had our wedding reception at The Wickliffe House in Charleston, SC. They made the entire process run smoothly - from initial contact through the end of our wedding night. Jamie Lee is extremely attentive and responsive to emails, and assured us on any concerns that we had. We sent Jamie Lee a list of the songs that we liked and the style that we wanted, and he made sure that we heard what we wanted. When the band takes a break, they have a DJ that is used to keep the party going (which you can also choose the songs for). I cannot explain how fun Threshold made our night, we really couldn't have asked for a more fun and entertaining band that never let the crowd get tired or off the dance floor.

Threshold Party Band is amazing! They are professional, extremely talented and bring the party! Everyone was out on the dance floor and our friends and family are still talking about how fabulous they were. They guided the entire ceremony and had song choices for everyone. Can't recommend enough.

Incredible!!

Threshold Band made our wedding the most fun night ever!! They had the entire crowd dancing and singing all night long! We have received SO many compliments about the band at our wedding and people wanting us to throw another party with Threshold there! My biggest regret was not renting out the venue for an hour extra and having the band play longer! I think everyone was sad when they announced that it was the last song. Haha Jaime went out of his way to make sure that the evening went exactly as planned. When planning, he made sure to find out what exactly we wanted, what we liked, etc. Jaime was very willing to do whatever possible to work with any special requests we had as well. Threshold band was incredible and I highly, highly recommend hiring them for your wedding or any of your events!!! You will not regret it and you will be thankful you did!:)

Outstanding musicians and very professional group!

Jamie and his band are amazing! We were dealing with a lot of unknowns as a result of Hurricane Helene, and the Threshold Party Band was able to flex with all of them. Despite road closures, challenging conditions, and even a questionable power supply these guys made it work!

They played a mix of classic rock, R&B, and crowd favorites to keep the party going. I'd highly recommend letting them run the set list as they've been doing this for 25yrs and know how to keep your guests entertained. I can't thank these guys enough for making our wedding day a huge success and playing some really solid music on top notch equipment. Thank you again!!! We look forward seeing you guys at another gig soon!

Threshold Helped Make It Special

We had an amazing experience with this wedding band! From start to finish, the Threshold Party Band kept the energy high, and the dance floor packed with happy guests. The music selection was spot-on, catering to all tastes and keeping everyone dancing all night long. The sound quality was fantastic—clear and vibrant, just as you’d want it for such an important celebration. Jamie helped us prepare for the event and as the emcee, he was fantastic—engaging, professional, and really knew how to work the crowd. I highly recommend this band to anyone looking to make their wedding unforgettable!

As the mother of the bride; I can't say enough about Threshold. They were FANTASTIC. The music was great, they kept everyone dancing (even the ones that don't normally dance). Jamie also was very instrumental in coordinating the music for the actual wedding ceremony. We didn't really know what /how to do all this, but Jamie is a true professional. They weren't even at our rehearsal and the timing was perfect....THANK YOU for making our celebration truly memorable!!

I can't say enough amazing things about this band. Kit and I got engaged and quickly and unexpectedly had to move to Charlotte NC. We moved from Austin Texas and decided to have our wedding at a Vineyard in Tryon, NC , an outdoor wedding. My husband loves live music so finding a great band was our first task after finding our venue. After much research and time I found Jamie and his band THRESHOLD. They were fantastic from day one. I booked them, met with Jaime about my vision and he took it from there. They were essential in the flow of our big day. They handled the Ceremony, our cocktail hour and of course the reception. Let's just say... it was the BEST PARTY EVER and it is all thanks to this BAND. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professionalism, experience and if you want to have a wedding where the dancing never stops... book these guys now! You will not regret it. This is also coming from a VERY detailed oriented planner and perfectionist. :) 5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Jamie and Band for a unforgettable night.

Great band - everyone loved them and they got everyone dancing right away! They also played 3 slow songs for our first dance, father daughter and one additional request. They were set up on time and played a great mix of music throughout the whole night. We thoroughly enjoyed having them at our wedding and they were a huge hit!

They were awesome!

Threshold made our wedding reception the most fun time with some of the best music. They also played some really good music during the DJ breaks. They interacted with the crowd and kept everyone ready for the next song. They even sang another song since the crowd kept cheering. Overall, I recommend using threshold as your band, they were awesome!! Everyone one keeps asking me what the name of the band was!

Amazing experience!!! They were full of energy and made the evening unforgettable! The guests did not want the music to stop at the end of the night!

Threshold Party Band was great to work with from start to finish. They were super responsive and answered all of my questions right away. They were very and flexible and worked well with the venue and planners. On the night of the wedding, things went so smoothly. They played the music for the ceremony and the reception. Guests were dancing the entire time! The energy was amazing, and we got so many comments about the talent of the band. We are very grateful for the part that they played in our daughter and son in law's special night!

Great Party Band

The band made our anniversary party special. All of them are very good musicians and singers. Also the song selection and the sound were great.

We hired Threshold for our wedding and they were wonderful! Jamie Lee was very helpful with the ceremony music and everyone loved them at the reception. They played different styles that everyone could enjoy. I highly recommend them for any occasion!

Absolutely AWESOME band!

Threshold Party Band performed this past Saturday at my daughter's wedding reception, which was held on our back lawn in Wilmington, NC. They were so easy to work with, and their music had everyone on the dance floor, and even dancing out in the grass! All the guests raved about how great our band was. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Jamie and his band were PERFECT! They had everyone on the dance floor and having a great time! My parents were nervous about spending the extra money for a band instead of a DJ but Threshold was worth every penny! We had a blast with them!

Fantastic Band

Had our wedding on NYE, what a fantastic band! Music was amazing, the band engaged with the crowd and was able to adjust on the fly to changes in the wedding plan. Music appealed to all ages and the venue staff jokingly asked if we had hired the Bon Jovi for the wedding. 10/10!

I had my wedding reception at The Umstead in Cary, NC. Threshold was absolutely excellent. The band leader called me well in advance of the wedding to go over details and answer any questions. At the wedding, Threshold played to the crowd. If my guest seemed to like a certain type of music over others, they made sure to amp up this music. They are organized, fun, and have an obvious passion for their job. I highly recommend this band.

INCREDIBLE! 1st off leading up to the wedding Jamie was calling me and helping with so many important details. He got to know me and my bride on a personal level. On the wedding day our venue suffered a power outage and thanks to the hard work of the band they made sure that this was not an issue. During the reception they were extremely professional and played the perfect music at perfect times! They include my wife with the cowbell and also had me my groomsmen sing "Friends in Low Places". Also, they allowed me and my boys to do a little karaoke to top things off! Everyone was beyond pleased with the entertainment and professionalism of Threshold. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My husband originally found Threshold on YouTube. We had never seen them perform in person so we weren't sure what we were getting into. We couldn't have been more THRILLED with Jamie Lee and Threshold!! Jamie took the time to get to know us and what type of reception we were aiming for. He helped walk us through ceremony music, introductions, and reception schedules all helping us feel completely at ease! They worked closely with us and our planner to make sure the entire evening went off without a hitch. They played an awesome array of music that appealed to all of our guests and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. They have great crowd interaction and made the night such a blast. We can't say thank you enough to Threshold for making our night one to remember!! We highly recommend them, they're awesome!!

If you are looking for a band that is professional, flexible, and willing to consider all requests, this is the perfect band for you. Threshold entertained us at our daughter's wedding reception. We had many compliments on the quality of our band. The guests were on the dance floor all night and had a blast. My daughter is not normally a big dancer, and we had the most fun watching her husband and her both so happy and dancing the night away. Threshold kept the night moving and managed every detail from the wedding party announcement to the last dance of the night. They were recommended to us by several people and we are so thankful they played at our reception.

Outstanding musicians and very professional group!

They played a mix of classic rock, R&B, and crowd favorites to keep the party going. I'd highly recommend letting them run the set list as they've been doing this for 25yrs and know how to keep your guests entertained. I can't thank these guys enough for making our wedding day a huge success and playing some really solid music on top notch equipment. Thank you again!!! We booked Threshold for our older daughter's wedding a few years ago. When our younger daughter got engaged last year, she chose her wedding date based on availability of first, our church; and second, this band. These guys are fabulous; they will MAKE your party. Probably the BEST live band for a wedding!

The Threshold Party Band was highly recommended to us by the Ballantyne Hotel. And the band was amazing. Every guest at the wedding (young and old) and the bridal party were unanimous in their praise for the Threshold Party Band. The dance floor was full of dancers for nearly the entire evening, and many sang the lyrics along with Jamie and his band members. The band cover songs sounded much like the original songs and the Threshold Party Band was able to play a wide range of genres of music. We give them 2-thumbs up, 5-stars and any other high praise we can. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again!

Best Party Band Ever!

Threshold turns a wedding reception into a fantastic party. large play list, variety of song types, accommodating, friendly, function as MC. Minimal breaks. They rock. Can turn a wallflower into a dancing phenom. Many compliments. 2nd time I have used them. The band is most critical element in determining success of reception and Threshold is the best.

The Most Amazing Band

This band is amazing. Everyone at the wedding was dancing. People are still raving about how much fun they had a month later. Since the wedding we have received countless emails and written notes telling us how much they loved this band! Jamie Lee Hart does it all! BOOK the Threshold Party Band!

We saw Threshold Party Band perform at another wedding a few years ago and we knew we had to have them for our wedding! They know how to keep the party going and the crowd engaged all night long. These guys were awesome. We had big plans and hurricane Ian had its plans. Lots of last minute changes. They worked great with us and the night was perfect. So much fun and energy. They had people from 1-90s dancing. Book these guys if you want a high energy fun event for sure.

Threshold is our all time favorite wedding and events band! After hearing them play at a university event in 2009, I recommended them for my sisters wedding in 2013 and of course we had to have them play for our wedding just recently in May! Our guests LOVED them as much as we do as we got so many compliments on how great they were. Our dance floor was packed the entire evening. Furthermore, Jamie Lee is absolutely amazing to work with throughout the planning process and just an all around kind, genuine person. As a wedding planner myself, I've worked with a number of wedding entertainment professionals and Threshold is at the top of my list both professionally and personally for love entertainment.

Can't say enough about our experience with Threshold! The music at our daughter's wedding reception was perfect in every detail! The music was great, energy flowed all evening and everyone danced the night away.

Threshold was AMAZING! They were so flexible and VERY easy to work with. Planning my wedding by myself had some challenges, but they walked me through everything I needed to know about them miking an event (not sure of the correct wording). I would HIGHLY recommend them any of my friends to use. The only feedback I would have for brides is to make sure you clarify if you want certain songs played. They played the clean version of Get Low ("to the window to the wall..."), but some of the guest started singing the explicit version.....that was not a problem for me, but there were kids at the reception. Everyone had a great time though, there was never an awkward moment without some type of music being played :)

You could not ask for a better group of people! Everyone at our wedding said the band was the best they've ever seen at a wedding!!! They truly went above and beyond our expectations!!

Our wedding was the best! Everyone loved the band and danced ALL night long. They were very professional and asked ahead of time for all directions. Had tons of suggestions on music! They made everything so easy!!

We would use them again and recommend them to all of our friends and family!!

It was a pleasure working with Threshold. Jamie Lee Hart was exceptional and worked with us to make sure we had the songs we wanted and to make suggestions when we weren't quite sure what to do. He embraced our Uncle Chris when he wanted to sing "Proud Mary" with the band. Jamie Lee put us at ease and Threshold helped make a night to remember. There were friends and family on the dance floor that never dance. Everyone is still talking about what a great band we had at the wedding. I can't thank them enough.

Best wedding band!

We are so happy we chose Threshold band to play at my mom’s wedding — we had people with ages ranging from 4 year olds to 89 year olds and the band got everyone off their feet dancing! I am already married, but if I wasn’t already married, I would be asking Threshold band to play at my wedding! Jamie Lee was very thorough in discussing setup and logistics, and all of the first/last dance songs and he was a great communicator. We cannot wait to book them again!

Threshold is an amazing band & everyone at our wedding had great things to say about them--they definitely know how to keep the dance floor hot! The band members were professional, friendly, on time, and played a variety of music. We would definitely use them again for any future event. :)

Excellent! Read our crowd well & brought people on the dance floor!

Threshold is easy, simple to work with! They are consistent, reliable, and know how to read the crowd. They brought my husband and I up on stage - which was fun! Gradually throughout the night, more and more people got on the dance floor and stayed until the end! I enjoyed Threshold at my sister's wedding back in 2017 so much, that I reserved them for our own wedding! Highly recommend. They will accomodate what you want as well.

We hired the Threshold band to play at our wedding on 6/20/15 and they were amazing! The band leader, Jamie, helped us setup audio during the ceremony, brought a DJ that played our selected tracks during the ceremony's processional/recessional, and then played 3 live sets at the reception that really made the party come to life! Jamie even went out of his way to meet with us before the event to help us plan and so we could understand all the ways that Threshold could help us on our big day. I would highly recommend hiring Threshold for your event!

One of the Highlights of Our Wedding!

We had a great experience with Jamie and the Threshold Party Band! They kept people on the dance floor and played crowd-favorites. We've had guests say wonderful things about their participation in our wedding and would recommend them to anyone!

Excellent band-- from service to the music itself. Highly recommend for a wedding reception. Our guests loved the music and most of our reception pictures are on the dance floor- they made the event perfect. I plan to hire them again for a graduation or birthday event. They know the routine on introducing the wedding party and all of the traditional customs. They made it very easy for me to just enjoy my wedding day!

Amazing! Talented and great at engaging with guests

The Threshold Party Band was fantastic at our October wedding. The music they played during dinner was perfect and they were great at reading our crowd. After dinner, some were slow to join the dance floor but by the end of the night we had people out there that we had never seen dance! They did such a great job engaging our guests and were a huge part of why our night was such a success!

Fantastic Band!!

Wonderful Wedding Entertainment

Jamie and his guys are awesome! From the beginning they were super professional, friendly, and helpful. When I booked with them, I received a questionnaire to complete which allowed me to select the genre of music we would like played at the wedding and share any special requests for the day. Threshold Party Band was so accommodating and truly make you feel like your wedding day is of utmost importance to them. They really paid attention to the crowd and had a flexible setlist that helped keep them on track with the types of music our guests enjoyed. I would recommend them over and over again!
