Hiring Christine for month-of coordination/styling was the best decision we made for our wedding day!
I found Christine on Instagram, and within 10 minutes of talking to her, I knew she was the perfect coordinator for us! She has amazing attention to detail, is personable, professional, and very organized. I knew we were in great hands, and I was stress-free leading up to the wedding and the day-of.
She truly did so much work in helping us achieve our dream day: she attended our venue meetings, coordinated all the details with our vendors, provided styling recommendations and sourced decor, handled decor set-up/tear-down, and made sure our timeline was running on schedule all day! Not to mention answering wedding-related questions and just providing guidance leading up to the wedding.
Christine went absolutely above and beyond: she dealt with my crazy requests when I insisted the groom's mother make the wedding cake and then had her parents deliver the wedding cake because there was no on-site refrigerator. And after packing away all our decor at the end of the night, she went on a wild goose chase to help find my bouquet that had disappeared.
We are so grateful to have found her! -

We are beyond grateful that we chose to work with Christine at Threshold Event Co for our wedding planning needs. We knew from our first conversation with her that she had the experience and the organizational skills we needed. At times wedding planning can feel overwhelming, but with Christine's help we had nothing to worry about. She took our big ideas and made them reality while also making sure we were on track to get everything done. She gave us the confidence to speak up for ourselves with our vendors and our venue and we couldn't be more grateful to have had her help along the way. She connected us with the most amazing vendors and everyone came together for the most beautiful wedding day. Christine allowed us to be stress free on the day of our wedding and she made sure everything ran smoothly for us. It was such a relief knowing that she had everything taken care of and all we had to worry about was staying present and enjoying ourselves. Looking back, we have no idea what our wedding day would've looked like without all of her help. She is insanely good at what she does and we are so thankful that we found her. If you aren't sure if you need a wedding planner, but feel overwhelmed by all the wedding decisions and don't know exactly how to carry out your vision, we think Threshold Event Co is an amazing resource. We would 100% recommend Christine to anyone getting married in San Diego. -

I knew from my very first inquiry call with Christine that she was the one. As a Type A, anxious bride planning her wedding from across the country, I wanted to have control but also recognized that I 1) didn't know the landscape, 2) didn't know how to bring my chaotic (and sometimes contradictory…lol) Pinterest boards to life, 3) was working full-time, and 4) wanted a trustworthy expert to guide us through this crazy, beautiful process!
Enter Christine and Threshold Events. From our first conversation, she had me laughing, and I could tell how much she cares for her clients. Her attention to detail is OUTTA THIS WORLD, and she gifted us the most beautiful, seamless wedding day. I wanted to make sure I attached our hugging photo to this review, because beyond all the gorgeous details that Christine and her team brought to our day, perhaps the most important aspect was a sense of calm and control. This particular moment was my first time seeing Christine on our wedding day, and she made me feel beautiful, supported, and ready. If you want the biggest hype woman on your day who also runs a tight ship, look no further. (can you tell I’m obsessed)
In reality, there is so much that Christine did for us behind the scenes in the lead-up to, and during, our wedding weekend that I can’t even begin to comprehend or summarize in a review (and for reference, we did her Event Design & Styling with Partial Planning Support & Month-of Coordination package!!). What I do know is that she provided (THE MOST INCREDIBLE) vendor recommendations, executed the design vision of my dreams (and even got my husband to participate in some brainstorming), gave the best advice, assuaged fears, responded to novel emails from me, and took the time to truly get to know us as humans.
We felt cherished and cared for from start to finish, and now I’m just wishing I had another major life event to plan for so I could work with Christine again. Since I don’t (at the moment), I hope this review finds its way to all future SD couples who want to have the most magical wedding day! -

From our first conversation with her, we could tell that Christine was capable, experienced, and most importantly, had our best interests at heart - we chose her as our month-of coordinator and it was the easiest decision that we made for our wedding. Every interaction with her (whether email/phone/in-person) was a pleasure, our conversations with vendors under her lead were productive, and the efficiency and organization with which she conducts business is incredibly impressive.
Throughout the planning process and through the big day, she was nothing but communicative, professional, and accommodating - on top of being so kind and respectful, not just to us, but to all of our friends and family! We felt like we could trust her with all of our questions and requests and she put us at ease, reassuring us that she was on top of all of the finer details and reminding us to have fun and bask in the moment. On the day of, she did so much behind the scenes to ensure that our day went as smoothly as possible and went above and beyond to be flexible with logistics - even taking it upon herself to pick up some replacements for rentals that were misdelivered! Everything she did was beyond appreciated and we were so happy to have her at the helm.
We could not recommend Christine more - so look no further, because she's the absolute BEST. -

I own a DJ company and one of our DJs performed at a wedding Christine was planning. As the owner of the company, I deal with a variety of planners leading up to weddings - emailing, getting info, contract stuff - all the boring behind-the-scenes business stuff nobody sees but gives me an idea of how professional other vendors really are. Christine was communicative and professional throughout the entire prep process, even with a venue that had strict and, we'll say, non-traditional standards to which vendors had to apply. I was thankful for her communication and professionalism and would love to work with her again! -

Words can't express how amazing Christine was! She made our wedding day so smooth and seamless, if there was any issues behind the scenes I would never have known because she took care of everything. Also before the wedding she helped me so much making decisions which can be super hard for someone indecisive like me! Bonus points for winning over my grandpa, he raved about her after the rehearsal and the wedding day. Hopefully someday I will be able to hire her for some kind of event. She is like a friend throughout the process, but impartial which I found to be extremely helpful.

If you’re looking for a well-organized planner who ensures your day is going to run smoothly, Christine is your woman.
We had 300 guests with 2 unique venues, the USS Midway & my husband's home in Fallbrook where all vendors had to be outsourced. Between Christine & I, we were able to pull it off!
My favorite trait of Christine, was that she is very direct & knows how to control a crowd, including our 24-person wedding party! You can tell that her priority is the bride & grooms comfort.
We booked her to design our wedding & for the day of coordination. We communicated regularly in the 8 months of planning, and I always felt that she was there for us.
My only regret is not booking her as my full-service planner. I believe she would have saved us money in the long run with her connections and recommendations!
Christine is also published in a wedding magazine, just look her up. When you put the best day of your life in her & teams hands, you won’t regret it. -

The perfect day thanks to Threshold Event Co
Being that our wedding was a destination wedding, one thing that was always very important to us was picking a wedding planner that we knew we could whole heartedly rely on. From the moment we spoke with Christine over the phone, it felt like she was not only in our corner, but was incredibly knowledgeable of the industry, thorough with all the details, and immediately understood our vision. People keep continuously reaching out to say how beautiful our wedding was and how perfect the day felt. And it truly was the perfect day! Everything went so smoothly, despite the heavy amount of logistics that were actually involved (like having two separate getting ready locations and two different venues). We can’t thank Christine and Threshold Event Co enough for helping us have the wedding of our dreams. -

Christine was AMAZING! She was professional, punctual, a good communicator and all around great coordinator. We hired her for month of coordination and she was so so helpful with handling all the little things that we wouldn't even think to do. We had a backyard wedding with a bunch of personal decor items and Christine and her assistant did a beautiful job of setting up everything with attention to detail and also helped in making sure all of our items were back in the house after the event which was a massive help. The day was absolutely magical, everything we wanted and more! Big thanks to Threshold for bringing it all together for us! -

Christine is FANTASTIC! After we hired her as our month/day of coordinator, we had to postpone our wedding. She was extremely flexible and fully willing to work with is in choosing another date. The month of she communicated with all of our vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page. Christine is super friendly, organized and quick at communicating. She made the month of and day of our wedding go so smoothly and took care of everything so we could enjoy every minute of it! -

So wonderful!
Christine is amazing! She helped make our wedding day perfect! She provided us with an extremely detailed timeline spreadsheet that we were able to fill in how we wanted to the day to go and she executed everything perfectly! I am sure there were some things that didn’t go as planned, because that’s just life, but we didn’t notice any of it. Weddings can get chaotic with everything happening so quickly, but Christine helped to make the chaos unnoticeable.
She was so professional from the moment we hired her. She was always quick to respond to an email, call, or text with any questions or concerns we had. She brought our wedding day vision to life by setting everything up so beautifully. She also helped load all of our decorations into the cars at the end of the evening which was a huge help. She made sure that everything ran smoothly and stayed on time as much as possible. She handled all of the vendors the day of the wedding so all we had to do was enjoy ourselves.
We had the most wonderful wedding day and Christine was a huge part of that. We honestly can not praise her wedding planning and coordinating abilities enough. She is fabulous and will help make your special day exactly how you’ve always dreamed. -

Christine was referred to us & we are so lucky we got to work with her! She needs to be your first call if you are planning your wedding! We wanted someone who was professional, but also fun like us! Christine was both. We had a lot going on during our final two months leading up to the wedding personally and Christine handled everything for us and I did not worry once. She truly understood what we needed and wanted as clients. She was super responsive to all my wild texts and helped anywhere she could through out the planning. Her professionalism and expertise in this industry really blew us away with the perfect wedding we had!! Literally, did not have one issue! Lauren Sent on 10/05/2017Annie was AMAZING to work with. I had some very specific design ideas and she was able to make everything come to life. On the day of our wedding the venue showed us extra furniture pieces we could use but I was just too stressed to make any decisions so I asked Annie to just make it work and it looked BEAUTIFUL. She worked so hard so that I didn't have to and I was just so thankful to have her there to put everything together. People still comment to me about how cool our wedding was and how creative and gorgeous it looked. I love looking at the pictures of how everything looked and felt. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks so much Ivory & Grace!!!!!
