Perfect Makeup for my Wedding
I originally met the Three Zero Six team at a Vendor Open House hosted by Aristide Colleyville. I am so particular when it comes to make-up, that I was actively avoiding booking a Make-Up artist for my wedding. However, after chatting with the Salon Representative, I decided to schedule a Consultation. One of the best wedding decisions I made was meeting with Candace. She is personable, professional and so very talented. Instead of telling me what I should look like on my wedding day, we worked together to create a look that fit with my “vision.” The morning of my wedding Candace and Jessie arrived at my Hotel Suite and quickly set up. They took the time to chat with my entire bridal party, and did not let anyone leave the chair until they felt their look was complete. From my Consultation in January to my Wedding Day in September, I knew I could trust Candace and the entire Three Zero Six team. The Best Hair and Makeup Ever!
I cannot say enough good things about Candace. She did my makeup and hair (along with my mom, the mother of the groom, and a bridesmaid’s makeup too!) for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. The moment I walked into her studio, she immediately put me at ease. She took extensive notes and asked detailed questions to ensure the look was exactly what I wanted. She took her time in getting to know me and my style. She made my whole look waterproof too, since I almost always cry constantly. The day-of was flawless. My hair and makeup matched my trial makeup and hair perfectly. She was so calm and positive all day and I definitely felt like I was in good hands. At the end of the night, after hours of crying and dancing, my hair and makeup still looked fresh. I don’t know how Candace does it, but she is incredible. I cannot recommend her enough. Candace and her team were amazing to work with and I was so happy with the final hair and make up! It was a long day because we had 11 people for hair and make up but Candace and her team were so professional and we finished right on time. I really enjoyed getting to know Candace over the 2 trial runs (I changed my mind about hair) and on the actual wedding day. I wish that I could give Candace and her team at 306 Hairstyling and Makeup 10 stars +++. They are absolutely fantastic and literally saved our wedding day! When my now husband and I first started looking at wedding venues in January 2019, we were turned away by one of the top venues on our list. It was a beautiful country/barn venue with excellent reviews. However, the day before our scheduled tour we received a private message from the owner that said our wedding was not part of God's design for marriage and he would not host our wedding at his venue. We were devastated and pressed pause on our wedding planning, unsure if we were up to the challenge of coming out all over again to every vendor we would need for our wedding and hoping they would accept us. We shared our story and word got out about what had happened to us. Another hair and make-up team heard our story and reached out to us to offer their services. A couple of weeks before the wedding we found out that the original team was not going to be able to deliver on their commitment. Our wedding planner scrambled to find someone to fill in and when Candace heard our story she immediately offered her services as well as 2 of her team members to do hair and makeup for our 5 groomsmaids, our 6 flower girls and immediate family ladies free of charge. We were blown away! The venue is an hour north of Dallas and they arrived at 8:00 am, ready for work and stayed until after 3:00 pm making the women and girls that we love most in life look absolutely gorgeous. Our groomsmaids were stunning and our flower girls looked and felt like little princesses and my husband's mother that night was the most beautiful woman in the room, exactly as it should have been. We cannot thank Candace and her team enough for the amazing gift that they gave us. Candace was committed and eager to helping make things right for us and make our wedding day absolutely perfect. We were complete strangers and she did not have to do this but that is the kind of person that she is. 306 Hairstyling and Makeup is a small business that truly believes that love is love and embraces all couples regardless of what they look like. If you are interested in supporting a business that is not only great at what they do, but has heart, stands up for equality, and welcomes everyone, please give them a look.
