Thank you, Hayley and team the day of the event. The bridal shower for my future daughter-n-law on February 1st was amazing. Highly recommend this venue.

We wanted a private space with good acoustics for group and private conversation. Reds upper room was the perfect space for our rehearsal dinner, Our food was delicious and the service was great!

We host our Board and Management Christmas Dinner here every year, and once again the event was fantastic. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the food was amazing—especially the tenderloin carving station, which was a highlight of the evening.

Haley is always a pleasure to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is just right. She truly helps make our event seamless and enjoyable. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and look forward to many more events here.

From reservation to when our last guest left, our event ran flawlessly. Room set-up and catering were exactly as requested; and on-site staff were friendly, readily available, and accommodating to our small change requests. The room was lovely, with gorgeous views of the surrounding golf course and woods. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I had our first wedding reception on 8/30/25 at Thousand Oaks. It was fabulous!! The food was great (would highly recommend the chicken parm, everyone loved it), the space accommodated everyone easily, and the staff was awesome!

From the moment we toured Thousand Oaks for our May 2025 wedding, we knew it was something special—but nothing could have prepared us for just how extraordinary our experience would be. This venue didn’t just host our wedding, it brought our vision to life with care, grace, and professionalism that went above and beyond at every step.
Throughout the planning process, Haley, the Event Sales Manager, was a dream to work with. Her eye for detail, calm demeanor, and sincere dedication to making our day perfect were truly unmatched. She guided us through decisions big and small with expertise and thoughtfulness, and we always felt like we were in the best hands.
Diane, the Facilities Manager, and her day-of team were equally phenomenal. Their coordination, attention to timing, and genuine kindness ensured every moment of our wedding day flowed seamlessly. From setup to the last dance, everything was smooth, stress-free, and full of joy—thanks to their behind-the-scenes mastery.
We hosted multiple events across several of the Thousand Oaks spaces, and each location added its own unique charm. The Oak Leaf Lodge was the perfect, cozy setting for our rehearsal dinner and offered a peaceful bridal suite for getting ready. The ceremony space felt magical—lush and intimate—and flowed beautifully into cocktail hour on Reds’ lower patio, where guests mingled overlooking the grounds. Our reception in the Grand Ballroom was elegant and lively, with plenty of space for dining, dancing, and unforgettable memories. The Gold Simulation Building offered us a great space for the groom to get ready in comfort and style.
The catering team knocked it out of the park—every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Guests are still talking about the food! Beyond the beautiful setting and flawless logistics, what made Thousand Oaks truly shine was the people. Every member of the team—from the front office to the servers—treated us and our guests with warmth and genuine care.
We are endlessly grateful for the experience Thousand Oaks gave us. If you are searching for a wedding venue that offers beauty, reliability, heartfelt service, and a team that truly cares, look no further. Five stars truly aren’t enough!

We just had our wedding day at Thousand Oaks and it was magical!

We got ready around noon in the locker rooms
Our ceremony was outside at 4:30pm and just perfect.
Our cocktail reception was at the outdoor fire pits and dinner/dancing upstairs at the Oak Leaf Lounge. Guest count 55.
The room was the perfect size for our event!

All of our wedding ceremony pictures turned out gorgeous. The OLL was private and had everything we needed. Staff was amazing. Food & dessert were amazing and all of our guests agreed.

Haley and Diane were exceptional at helping us make sure our wedding went smoothly for our guests.

We recently had an event at Thousand Oaks Golf Club, in the Oak Arbor Room. Every staff member was professional and friendly. The food was amazing and the venue was perfect. We had about 50 people and the set up was just what we needed. Haley was very helpful in that department. Highly recommended.

Thousand Oaks was the perfect location for a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was elegant, but not too stuffy. The menu and bar options were perfect and the service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend to anyone hosting any type of event.

We held a wedding dinner for a party under 50. Haley, our event planner, was a delight to work with during the planning process. The staff on the evening of the dinner were great.

We held our son's rehearsal dinner here and wouldn't change a thing. To start with, Thousand Oaks is a beautiful, peaceful setting. And their Oak Leaf Lounge, located on the 2nd floor overlooking the golf course, is a gorgeous venue for a rehearsal dinner (or anniversary, etc.). You feel like you're in a treehouse with windows all around the room and a large balcony for guests. The service was top notch beginning with the event coordinator, who helped me plan the event from a distance (we live several hours from Grand Rapids). The wait staff, bartender, and day-of manager were also excellent. The appetizers were delicious and offered good variety. The plated dinner came out hot and on time. Our guests were pleased with everything and enjoyed the fun "cheesecake shooters" (like a mini parfait) and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. I hope my younger son finds a bride from Grand Rapids someday so we can host his rehearsal dinner here as well!

We recently had our holiday party at Thousand Oaks and the entire process was so simple and easy! Everyone at Thousand Oaks was so friendly and quick to respond to requests. The food was great, the venue was very nice and clean. Would highly recommend for any type of event.

We had a wonderful experience with Thousand Oaks for our son's rehearsal dinner! From the very first contact with our event manager Jillissa, who answered my endless emails with questions to the last-minute changes, the service was exceptional! The food was amazing and the view from the private balcony in the Oak Leaf Lounge was spectacular. It was the perfect venue for our group of 40 and felt very intimate while giving us plenty of space to move around and chat with everyone. The staff was very attentive and interacted wonderfully with our guests, especially the bartender. He went above and beyond to make the event enjoyable for all. we chose to do a buffet-style dinner and the food tasted wonder and was presented beautifully. I would recommend Thousand Oaks to anyone looking for an amazing venue with wonderful food and service.

Everything about Thousand Oaks was wonderful. Working with the events manager was so easy. Food was wonderful, service was wonderful, and my wedding went so smoothly. I had a wedding in late March and a live band. Love this venue!!!

We got married at Thousand Oaks in June of 2017 and could not have been happier. We worked with Nicole Ames, who was a Godsend throughout the entire process. She was so organized, thoughtful, kind, and responsive to every question or concern we had. The staff was incredible and treated our guests very well, especially the wedding party/family. The only issue we had was the pieces of cake being taken away too early, but in the grand scheme of things that is extremely minor. The venue was gorgeous and made for some wonderful pictures and memories we will cherish forever. We decided to have our ceremony indoors as to put weather concerns out of our mind. They were able to use 1/3 of the reception hall for the ceremony (seated 170) and only needed 30-45 mins of teardown/setup time between ceremony and reception, to which we used the beautiful wrap-around deck and yard space for the cocktail hour. We used a mobile bar for the cocktail hour (extra cost, but not expensive) and 2 bars (no extra cost) for the reception.
One of the selling points was the ability for the wedding party to be able to get ready on site in the locker rooms located upstairs. Both the men's and women's locker rooms had plenty of space to get ready (our party had 7 on each side). The staff stated that the locker rooms are open to the public, however only a small handful of people briefly walked in when we were getting ready and were not a problem. Both locker rooms were newly renovated and looked incredible.
Our guests have complemented the most on the beauty of the outdoor cocktail hour, the reception hall, and the FOOD! The food Thousand Oaks provides is amazing and we still dream about it! We cannot say enough good things about the venue, but honestly Nicole was the best part. She helped put us at ease so many different times throughout the entire process and was so wonderful to work with. We would recommend this venue to anyone for any kind of event, wedding or otherwise!

Thousand Oaks was the most beautiful and perfect venue for our family's ceremony and reception. The wedding manager, Kari, was top notch and easy to work with. They went over and above to make sure that all of their ducks were in a row so that our day went smoothly and without incident. Everything looked gorgeous, the food was delicious, and our guests were thrilled! What a perfect venue. No complaints, just compliments!

Thousand Oaks was a great place to have our reception. It was large and roomy. The food was excellent, and our cake made by their pastry chef was beautiful. Our wedding coordinator Sarah was amazing and so easy to work with. She is no longer with Thousand Oaks, but stayed on until our wedding was over. The room was beautiful and everything was so well set up, and everything ran so smoothly. I am so happy we went there!

We had our wedding reception at Thousand Oaks and could not have been happier with the venue! The staff was exceptional - the wedding coordinator Nicole is fantastic and highly organized. We also utilized the locker rooms for getting ready and the space was perfect. The food was decent for a country club, albeit it was better at the tasting than the night of the wedding. Bar packages are fairly reasonable compared to other venues and they were able to order us special craft beer to offer our guests which was a huge bonus. Event space is beautiful and our pictures turned out amazing!

Everything went perfect! The room was set up just how I imagined and the good was amazing. We were able to get ready at Thousand Oaks in the morning with breakfast and drinks! They were great to work with, especially Nicole.

Sarah Boozer was our wedding coordinator and was absolutely wonderful to work with. The whole staff at both our rehearsal dinner at Acorn Grill and reception at Grand Oaks were great! The food and cake were amazing! You will not find a better group of people to work with or a more beautiful setting than Thousand Oaks!

This venue had three different ceremony locations that all came with amazing views of the golf course. Their banquet room was such a great place to hold our guests and great to decorate and put our own style from our wedding in to the room.
The staff was very accommodating in every aspect.

Thousand Oaks was wonderful. I had an outdoor ceremony and reception there. The venue was beautiful and very elegant. I received numerous complements on the food and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This location MADE my wedding. Kelly and Leah (the coordinators) are FANTASTIC. I couldn't of been happier with how everything turned out. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Thousand Oaks Golf Course is a beautiful place to have your reception. It is brand new and kept very clean. Everything turned out wonderful!

I have had 2 big events at Reds, both were special nights. Making the arrangements was handled very professionally and really done very easy. The buffet we had was set up in a room separate from the eating area which gave us more room to move around. The food was done perfectly and was served hot. We had our guests raving about the quality of the food. It was done extremely well.

Overall, Thousand Oaks was absolutely wonderful in our entire wedding planning. I kept in touch with the event planner, Kari, quite frequently up to the wedding and she was always responsive and helpful with my many questions. I was a very organized bride and she kept up with my standards with her planning as well which I really appreciated, and therefore day-of we had absolutely no hitches!

Red's did a great job in providing a special night for my daughter's 28th birthday.

Wedding coordinator got back to us in a timely manner with all questions and last minute changes. Beautiful location, attentive staff. Our guests liked the food and cake very much. It was at the top of our price point, but very worth it.

Everything went well at our reception & we chose this location due to the BEAUTIFUL views and delicious food. We also did our cake with them and that was VERY good too! I do wish I would have expressed to servers to save cake for us but I only ended up getting a single bite :( Everyone raved about it during the wedding & afterwards & was a ittle depressed to only have had a small amount. We did also have some troubles with billing the day of and have yet to figure that out after two weeks. Free wedding! Yeah right ;)

Service was decent & set up was great! Nicole was our event planner and she is good at her job. She had all details down and had me completely positive about everything that I had planned for our special day. In addition to great planning beforehand, she was very easy to work with. I'd suggest this spot for a Friday or Saturday if you have a decent budget to spend!
