Please trust me when I say this IS the place!! It has it all!

The venue is beyond gorgeous. We came from the US so we never got to see it in person beforehand. After 3 long years of waiting due to Covid, we were absolutely blown away when we arrived. Somehow it’s even more beautiful than in the photos.

Jo and Duncan are two of the kindest, most helpful people we have ever met. We had to postpone twice due to Covid and they could not have been more reassuring. They even helped with a lot of the communication with our vendors.

TMBTP has partnered with Caravan Made for catering services and they are INCREDIBLE!! Our guests kept telling us that the best food of their entire trip to Europe was at our wedding. I wish I could have their paellas everyday for the rest of my life. Also, they are just the loveliest people to work with and their staff was amazing.

There are so many stunning areas to choose from for each part of your wedding. You and your guests will have no shortage of picturesque views and backdrops.

Our favorite part about TMPTP is that your can have a group of your closest friends and family stay with you at the venue! Their bedrooms and living areas are so uniquely curated. There are so many cool details that you will notice in person.

For anyone who is worried about a plan B if the weather turns, this actually happened to us! We had to move our ceremony indoors because some rain clouds rolled though. Plan B ended up being even more perfect than our plan A! It felt very intimate and romantic.

We are still hearing from our guests about how this was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. I could go on and on, but just know that the value is truly unmatchable! We loved our experience so much that someday we even hope to return to renew our vows.

THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE! Our wedding ended up being so so beautiful and perfect that my husband Colin and I kept looking at each other with eyes wide open to make sure it wasn't a dream. We couldn’t have chosen a better place on earth to make this day so magical and unbelievable. Jo and Duncan go above and beyond to make sure you and your guests are all taken care of and having a good time, we felt very comfortable knowing that they are so experienced and you can tell they love what they do. They not only recommended amazing suppliers to help us make this day possible, but they also listen to our style and our taste to match it perfectly with what we wanted. We would choose them million times and perhaps one day for our 10th anniversary we would love to be back with friends and family to celebrate again at “This must be the place”.

We are an American couple that chose to have a destination wedding in Spain. We found this venue and fell in love with it just based on pictures. We decided to contact the owners (Jo & Duncan) and they were kind enough to give us a video tour of the venue before making our final decision. Obviously not traveling or touring your potential wedding venue beforehand can be a huge risk, but they made us feel so at ease every step of the way! Our original date was set for 10/10/2020 but then Covid-19 hit and we were faced with the decision to postpone our wedding. Jo and Duncan were so generous and worked with us for almost two years while we waited for our second date of July 2021. Once we finally arrived, they truly made us and our guests feel at home. They offered us recommendations on activities to do around the area and made sure we had everything we needed. This venue is a truly magical space that we will never forget with an amazing family that owns it!

We had a perfect wedding at This Must Be The Place! It was everything we hoped for--you have to see the place in person to appreciate how beautiful it is. We live on the east coast of the US and wanted to do something different for our wedding, and found Catalonia to be a perfect destination--great food, beautiful scenery, lovely people, and very affordable by US standards. Jo and Duncan (the venue owners) worked very hard to coordinate all of the vendors and make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. The venue has multiple great locations to hold the ceremony and a beautiful indoor space for the bar and dancing. Jo also found us several beautiful rental houses for our guests in the area, as well as a great restaurant for our Friday night welcome event. Jo and Duncan were very flexible to accommodate our wishes, including a Sunday breakfast event at the venue, and helped set up all of our decoration ideas. Overall we had a wonderful experience with this venue and the lovely owners, and would recommend it to anyone! It was an unforgettable weekend!
