Doug And his assistant were absolutely amazing. They made everything seem so simple. Both my husband and I were shocked by how smooth everything was. I have seen Videographers at weddings that were in the way but Doug was amazing and he didn’t even realize he was there. He worked amazing with everybody and was so friendly! Not just the video but the photos he sent us took our breath away!! We will forever be grateful to him for catching all the special moments of our day! Spend the money because it is soooooo worth it. We were so glad we did! -

I was so happy I booked a videographer for our wedding. Doug was professional, nice, and very easy to work with. All of the other vendors loved him. He makes everything look effortless and amazing. We don’t even know where to start. Doug was so easy to work with and made us feel at ease, despite us having to work around the super rainy and wet day. His personality was so fun and by the end of the day, we felt like we had known him for years.
We just knew he would deliver...and boy did he deliver! The moments he captured and the way he told our story was better than we could’ve ever imagined. He turned our love story into a fairytale, one like we’ve never seen. We are so ecstatic that we chose This Moment Weddings to capture the most special day of our lives.

One word. Unforgettable. Our experience working with Doug was unforgettable from the “moment” we first met him and he was able to seamlessly capture our unforgettable “moments.” We chose the package that included a love story, wedding highlights, and fully edited video.
Although I live in Chicago and my now husband lived in Los Angeles at the time, he made our first meeting as personable as possible by choosing to videochat with us instead of simply emailing or speaking over the phone. We instantly liked him. He is easy going, friendly, and very attentive to our needs. He took great effort into getting to know us so that our films reflected the essence of our relationship yet delivered in the style that we wanted. I wanted a videographer that filmed our story with a cinematic approach where all shots would be taken on a gimbal stabilizer for that smooth flow effect. With our all outdoor wedding, lighting and contrast are tricky and I didn't want the oversaturated colors but more the “woodsy” feel, so I was looking for someone with outdoor videography experience. Doug is definitely that person!
We first met Doug in person when we filmed our love story in Oceanside, California. He was dressed in t-shirt, shorts, and sandals. We knew it was going to be chill working with him. Even though we spent the whole day filming, it just felt like we were hanging out at the beach, riding bikes, and grabbing food at the street market on any other ordinary day. Doug is that best friend you can hit up anytime knowing it's going to be a good time, except that he can magically capture those moments better than your memories! Our love story portrayed all the important aspects of our relationship: adventure, food, laughter, and love. We showed it at the wedding during dinner and our guests love it!
When we got our highlights video, we were overwhelmed with emotions! It is not simply a chronicle of our wedding day, but a creative and stunning storytelling of our special moments woven into a cinema allowing us to relive the experience. We can't wait for our full video!
Doug genuinely loves what he does and it shows in both his work and how he interacts with everyone: us, our guests, and our photographers at the wedding. He and his wife are a team that is professional, thorough and especially fun to work with. They are absolutely the sweetest couple that just add an extra “awww” factor to why you want to get married. Search no further! I have confidence that This Moment Weddings will capture and re-create your unforgettable special day so you can experience all the emotions over and over again.

We initially found Doug through our wedding venue, and we were very happy with the choice we made for our wedding videographer. He was very professional and helpful throughout the process, from filming our initial pre wedding video to filming the day of our wedding. He spent an entire day with us filming a pre wedding video to be played during our wedding, which turned out extremely well and impressed our guests. He was patient and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. We really liked the cinematic style of his videos as opposed to other videographers we checked out, and so far the wedding highlight video we’ve seen has been amazing. We’re very excited to get the full wedding day video, and would highly recommend Doug as a wedding videographer. -

We had a first call with Doug and from that first phone call we knew he was perfect for our wedding day. Our wedding is not until next year, but the booking process and flexibility Doug had with us would make any couple want to write a review already! We are obsessed with his past wedding films and cannot wait to see ours after our wedding. Wedding planning can be stressful, but I have to say that Doug and This Moment Weddings was the most stress free decision we have made yet. Thank you Doug and we cannot wait for next year!

Doug captured our wedding day beautifully! The highlight video and additional footage was excellent quality and he even personalized the highlight video to make it just what we wanted. It’s a beautiful reminder of our special day and we love watching it over and over. Doug was flexible, professional, and affordable as well. We weren’t sure we wanted a videographer originally and looking back now we would have regretted not having a beautiful video we can share with family and friends forever. Best decision we made. You won’t regret it! Thank you Doug! -

Nini Sent on 02/01/2017i wasnt sure if i was able to afford a videographer, doug worked with me and my budget.. i was beyond excited and soooo grateful.its hard when youre paying for a full wedding yourself!! he totally understood. after seeing his work it was defiantly worth every penny!!! he was my best vendor!! he makes you feel very very comfortable and is easy to work with during shooting! i couldnt even tell he was there! ill be watching this video over and over for the rest of my life, he really captured it ALL! this is something sooo priceless.... and ill hold close to my heart forever! thank you so much doug -

Doug will make you smile and laugh, he makes you feel completely comfortable even with a camera in your face! He really focused on the details that were important to us and we could tell he was passionate about getting each shot just right. He is so friendly, professional and a blast to have around on our big day... Doug captured the most amazing moments, every emotion and told the story of our day perfectly! We will forever cherish the memories! Hiring a videographer is one of the best investments you can make for your wedding day.. having this video forever is a blessing! Darina Sent on 09/21/2015I can't begin to describe how amazed I am with Doug's work. He did video for my wedding on 09/13/15 and me, my husband, and all of our guests were blown away when he did same day edit and played a loop of everything he's recorded so far on a screen at our reception!!!
There's not a special moment that day that he missed with his camera. Every laugh, smile, and tear he captured. What makes his work so special is he didn't have us pose or fake anything, he captured raw emotion, candid shots, and all the happy moments that we will watch years later down the road and re-live our special day again.
To anyone who's married can understand that you spend so much time planning your wedding to be perfect, but when it happens, your wedding day is a complete blur.
If you're contemplating getting a videographer, don't even think twice!!!! Absolutely do it and only hire the best, Doug.
It was truly the best gift we could have gotten ourselves. He's extremely talented and we are SO lucky we found him to be our videographer.
