Beautiful Wedding Flowers!
Alyssa and her team did an amazing job with our wedding flowers at Early Mountain! Everything from the bouquets to the floral centerpiece on the mantel was beautifully done. I can't thank her and her team enough for making our floral vision come to life and creating the most romantic, classic arrangements on our wedding day! I highly recommend The Posey Detail! -

Before Posey, I spent hours and hours trying to define what it was we wanted for our wedding day flowers and couldn't nail it down enough to even properly explain what I was thinking. After a few conversations & vision board exchanges with Posey, they absolutely nailed it. We got so many compliments on how different & beautiful the florals were and they really matched the day perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed their mood board process because it was so helpful to ensuring everyone was on the same page but also introduced me to new ideas. Alyssa & Grace are so kind and patient and all around lovely people. We really loved working with them and would definitely recommend!! -

The Posey Detail did the flowers for our wedding last weekend and we were blown away. Alyssa and Grace were amazing to work with. I was nervous the flowers wouldn’t turn out the way I had envisioned in my head. However, they were better than I could have ever imagined. The mantles, the arch, the tables, everything was so lush and beautiful. So many guests commented on how pretty the flowers were. There was candlelight and greenery galore. Everything I had asked about, they made it happen. I am so glad we booked them! -

I'd followed Posey Detail on Instagram for a few months before I booked them and I hoped that my wedding would look like the beautiful images they posted but I was truly blown away on our wedding day. I had a vision in my head for what I wanted our wedding to look like and Grace absolutely made that come to life and it was even better than what I envisioned. She was professional, timely, and so wonderful to work with throughout the wedding planning process. She understood exactly what I wanted and made suggestions based on that she thought I'd like such as what focal point would look best at our ceremony site, flower and candle types, ideas for repurposing arrangements, etc. Posey Detail is worth every penny! They will make the wedding of your dreams come true. -

Alyssa and the Posey team are the most amazing people to work with. All of them want your day to be nothing but perfect and are so helpful through the entire process. I came to Alyssa and Grace with having no idea of what I wanted our flowers to look like and with a few pictures and off the wall ideas, they created the most perfect arrangements. Alyssa even put a little something in my bridal bouquet for my mother, who passed away a few years back. I can't thank Trudy, our day of coordinator, enough for all of the phone calls, suggestions, tips, and hard work that she put into our day as I didn't feel one bit stressed or overwhelmed the day of my wedding. I highly recommend the Posey Detail to all brides and couldn't be happier with their work. -

The Posey Detail is THE BEST!!!!
I seriously cannot express enough how wonderful The Posey Detail was as the florist for my wedding - they made everything look so natural and gorgeous, and I got infinite compliments on my bouquet!!! The team was so responsive to emails, set up frequent phone calls, and sent me vision boards to help me visualize the day (which were even more amazing in person!!)! I also had a special request for a memorial table for passed loved ones, and they made the table so special with beautiful candles and greenery which was such a lovely touch. I would HIGHLY recommend booking The Posey Detail and would choose them all over again if I had the choice!!! THANK YOU to the team who made our wedding so magical!!!!!! -

Incredible Florist and Wedding Coordinator
Alyssa and her team are nothing short of AMAZING. Talking to Alyssa was so easy, she took every idea I had for our wedding and blew it out of the park. Every conversation with her I knew how dedicated she was to make sure our day was perfect. She sprinkled her floral power over every inch of our wedding venue. When the forecast wasn't going the way we wanted she moved our gorgeous floral arch from the rain, inside to make our inside ceremony prettier than we ever imagined. Our rain plan ceremony was so pretty our guest thought it was supposed to be there all along! From table arrangements, greenery on every surface (including the chandelier), and my beautiful bouquet the florals were a dream.
We also hired Trudy as our wedding coordinator, BEST DECISION EVER. She was my biggest supporter throughout the entire process. She kept me on schedule during wedding planning, answering every question. She brought decor from her personal stash to use for our wedding (I have guests still asking where I got my decor from). She took every idea I had and upgraded it to exceed my expectations. She spent hours creating the perfect wedding timeline, contacting our vendors, and coordinating our wedding day. On the day of our wedding, she was calm and caring when she helped us decide to move our wedding inside due to the weather, assuring me it would still be beautiful. Throughout the night she continued to make sure everything was perfect behind the scenes. She ran through the rain multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. Our wedding day was perfect and Trudy is a HUGE part of the PoseyDetail Team that made it this way. -

Absolutely beautiful!
Alyssa and the Posey Detail team made all of our floral and decor visions a reality at our September 2019 wedding. We spoke with Alyssa a few times over the phone and met with her once at our venue to do a walkthrough, and she delivered every detail. Alyssa is so sweet and definitely listened to exactly what we wanted. We had a beautiful arch for our ceremony (that was a late add on that came out perfect!), flowers and greenery on the mantles at the reception, the exact vases/flowers/candles that I wanted for the head and guest tables and perfect sizing on my bouquet as well as the bridesmaids. Alyssa even helped with the concept for the hedge wall and lanterns that we wanted to use to display our neon sign. I would love to work with Alyssa again and highly recommend her and her team! -

The Posey Detail team is one of a kind and one of the best in the state of Virginia, and if you are reading this, go ahead and hire them right now! Alyssa not only creates breath taking arrangements and bouquets, but she also is an incredible human who puts her brides first, every single time. I am a photographer that has worked with The Posey Detail multiple times, and, to this day, refer them every chance I can because they give their brides the very best experience. (And again, this doesn't even go into how BEAUTIFUL her work is!)

You Will Fall in Love with The Posey Detail
I loved Alyssa from my very first phone call with her—almost 2 years before our wedding. She spent so much time going over ideas and our vision. In the time leading up to our wedding, Alyssa was easy to communicate with. She created a design board based on my screenshots and my Pinterest account. Alyssa really understood our vision and made it come to life.
Walking into the room where we were getting married was like a dream. I got a sneak peek before our ceremony and was just blown away. The bouquets, mantle, and arrangements were just gorgeous. Looking back at pictures, the florals really stand out and just make everything look so classic and elegant.
My aunt raved about the florals and even reached out to me to get The Posey Detail’s contact info. Her daughter is getting married in Vermont, but she wanted to compliment Alyssa and learn more to show a florist local to them what they did at our wedding! I absolutely recommend booking The Posey Detail for your wedding day, you will be so happy you did. -

Alyssa is amazing!!!
Where do I even start with Alyssa?? We are beyond ecstatic that we picked team Posey for our wedding!! As someone who knows nothing at all about flowers, Alyssa took every random and scattered thought I had and created our dream florals. From the first call I knew we had to go with Alyssa!! She so genuinely cared about everything we had to say and truly got to know not only our vision for our wedding florals, but also us as people. Alyssa took all of my calls/texts/emails in stride and made any and all changes and last minute requests we had!! When we saw our absolutely stunning arbor on the wedding day we were just completely blown away. Alyssa created EXACTLY what we were picturing!!! Every description we gave her was executed perfectly, from the touch of greenery hanging from the chandeliers, to the perfect bouquet sizes. flower and color makeup! One might say we are biased because we feel we had the most perfect wedding, but comments from our guests also attest to their amazing skills. We used Posey Detail for both wedding planning and florals. Their sense of style, design, and attention to detail go unmatched. Alyssa and Trudy have extremely positive and fun personalities, you can't help but become good friends with them. They invest in you. They listen to what you want and dream for your big day, and then transform that into reality...and in our case the wedding they helped us create exceeded anything we could have dreamed for. Alyssa is seriously the BEST. I cannot speak highly enough about her and her team!!
Prior to the wedding, she was so wonderful to communicate with. She was super patient when I had lots of questions and changes as the months progressed (which I'm extremely thankful for!) and also incredibly sweet and kind, sending thoughtful emails and even a sweet gift! She is such a genuine soul and gem of a person, and I'm lucky that she was such an important part of our day.
I (and everyone) was utterly and completely BLOWN AWAY by her work, and every single detail. I had an idea of what I wanted... mostly just a couple colors, some specific flowers and greenery, and a few descriptive words and directions here and there-- let me tell you, Alyssa was able to weave my vision into the most beautiful reality beyond my wildest imagination. The colors of the flowers and greenery complimented every aspect of the wedding. It was dreamy, romantic, soft, elegant, and blended perfectly with the scenery, our colors, and our overall aesthetic. The thing is, I've seen a lot of her work, and the way she is able to craft and personalize the flowers for each unique bride and wedding is truly impressive and amazing. My bouquet and everything we could get from the mason jars, tables, and arbor is still in my house on display. :)
When the bouquets were delivered, I was awe struck. They were each a radiant work of art-- I didn't want to put mine down!! Walking down the aisle with my dad (with her perfectly filled mason jars lining the way), seeing all our friends and family was such a powerful and emotional moment; when I saw the arbor (it was truly extraordinary), it took my breath away!! It really framed the ceremony beautifully.
We just received our pictures and her stunning work stands out in each photograph, making every moment all the more captivating. We are so fortunate that The Posey Detail was a part of our day, making it more magnificent than we could have dreamed. Alyssa gave us everything we had hoped for and more-- absolute perfection!!

Alyssa and her team are truly incredible!!! I didn’t know a lot about different types of flowers, I just knew I wanted pink ones... and a lot of them!! During the planning process, Alyssa was really knowledgeable and eager to understand the vision I had for my wedding. On the day of the wedding, Alyssa and her team worked endlessly IN THE RAIN to ensure I had the flower arch of my dreams. Aside from marrying my now husband, seeing the floral arch for the first time was one of the best moments of my day (I am not kidding). I could not believe how beautiful it was and literally just broke down in tears. I cried because I just couldn’t believe it was BETTER than what I could’ve envisioned in my wildest dreams. I could go on and on about how amazing The Posey Detail is but I’m going to let these pictures speak for themselves.

We could not have been happier with our flowers from the Posey Detail. They built a beautiful chuppah for our ceremony and did an excellent job curating our flowers in a way that would fit both our vision and the venue. They came to the venue with us ahead of time (which definitely wasn’t necessary or expected, but so appreciated) to offer suggestions for flower placement and made the whole process very stress-free. Flowers were very important to us and the Posey Detail truly made our wedding special. I saw so many extra floral pops throughout our venue on the wedding day that we had mentioned we’d like but eventually took off the contract - Alyssa and team just added them on. They also built a beautiful chandelier installment for us and decked out our head table.
Alyssa and her team have a true talent and we were so pleased that we choose them as our floral vendor for our wedding day. I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Virginia area. They were one of our favorite vendors.

My words will never ever be able to fully express how wonderful Alyssa, Trudy, and the whole Posey team is, but I am going to try! There is no way we would have had our dream wedding day if it wasn't for them. We used Posey for both florals and planning.
I have zero knowledge of flowers, but Alyssa listened to my vision (or lack-there-of at the beginning) and knew exactly what to do. She created beautiful bouquets, table arrangements, and a gorgeous design on the arbor for the ceremony. She was so good about understanding my budget and bringing my vision to life - above and beyond anything I imagined! On top of the beautiful floral arrangements, she also helped bring the entire space together with tons of decor that completed my vision of having a clean and simple but romantic and soft design. Alyssa has is extremely talented and has such a special gift with her eye for flowers and design.
We worked with Trudy for the planning. She was great about checking in and keeping communication going throughout the planning process, and she blew me away every time we met with her organization, knowledge of the business, and attention to even the smallest of details. Trudy helped make the process so much fun and stress free. On our actual wedding day, Trudy was our LIFE. She made sure to check in everywhere throughout the morning - the venue, the girl's place, the guy's place, calling vendors, etc. Throughout the night, she made sure our timeline was going off without a hitch and interacted with guests and vendors to make sure everyone was having a great time. We were in awe of how hard she worked to make our day perfect, but made it look easy. To this day, all of my friends and family that were a part of our bridal party still talk about how amazing Trudy is!
I could really keep going on about our great experience with Alyssa, Trudy, and the ladies at Posey. They truly made us feel so special and genuinely cared about US and making our wedding the best wedding it could be. We would recommend them over and over and over again. Thank you for everything Alyssa!!! -

Where do I begin?! When my now-husband and I began the wedding planning process, we knew that florals were going to be our main decor for our wedding. After speaking with a few past brides, The Posey Detail became a frequently recommended floral vendor in the Charlottesville area. With confidence I excitingly reached out to The Posey Detail owner, Alyssa, to see if they could help bring my specific vision to reality and I truly cannot express how happy I was to find them!
From day one, Alyssa was open to every idea I had and happily offered amazing recommendations to enhance the floral aesthetic I was going for. Throughout the entire process, The Posey Detail team was so incredibly responsive with routine check-in's, excitingly took on any additions to the proposal, and provided creative feedback and ideas to ensure that our floral wedding dreams were met.
On the day of our wedding not only was the Posey Detail team prompt and ready to go, Alyssa personally brought me my wedding bouquet! I was completely blown away with the attention to detail Alyssa and her team provided to make sure that every detail and then some were present at our wedding. Beyond My Floral Dreams
Alyssa and her crew were a dream to work with. The flowers were the detail of wedding planning I was most looking forward to most, and Alyssa made everything I desired happen. My wedding bouquet blew me away when I saw it for the first time, and only wish there was a way to preserve it just the way it was on our wedding day. Part of our floral plan was to alternate two different centerpiece designs on for our tables, and Alyssa's crew went above and beyond and did something different on each table, and they were gorgeous! The flower on the arbor for our ceremony took my breath away as I walked down the aisle. I could not recommend Alyssa and The Posey Detail crew more! -

Flowers. I know nothing about them. I just knew the look I wanted for my wedding and I struggled to find the right florist to get me there. Alyssa was one of our last vendors we added on to our team and she became THE BEST. I think one of the best decisions I made for our wedding, was going with Posey Detail as a Florist. She took my scatterbrained explanations and turned them into a reality. I am still in AWE with what her team did for us. Alyssa and everyone on their team, are the kindest human beings you will find in the wedding industry. I could go on and on with how much I loved working with them. She has become a true friend to me and I cannot wait to find a reason to work with her again! The only issue we had was not having items labeled for family and wedding party members, which caused family members to not get the proper items for the ceremony. However, we had a lot of people who needed arrangements and a lot going on during our wedding day in a short amount of time. Posey detail worked amazingly hard and quickly to make it all happen, exceeding our expectations on everything. Just amazing. Not to mention, everyone on her staff is so sweet, calm, cool and collective throughout! In the planning process Alyssa was very organized and would update our proposal notes quickly after every conversation. Worth every penny. Her talent for merging beautiful blooms, colors and greenery have our guests still commenting on their beauty. If you follow her on instagram, you will see it for yourself! Alyssa is the sweetest human on this planet. She was SO lovely to work with. She helped educate me on different types of flowers and seasonality. From our initial consultation through to our wedding day Alyssa was always super responsive and easy to talk to. Our first time meeting Alyssa was at a wedding expo hosted by our venue, Morais Vineyards and Winery. Alyssa came as a recommendation from both our venue and wedding photograph, and we chatted a few days before we met at the vineyard. Alyssa asked us what our wedding vision was going to be and to our surprise when we showed up at her table, her displays were exactly what we had discussed over the phone! It was so nice and comforting that even before we signed her as our designer and florist, she works hard to impress and achieve a brides vision! Of course, we signed her right then and there!
Alyssa was always so prompt in responding to emails and asking questions that really impacted our day. I know absolutely nothing about florals, and even with my short (and frankly terrible) jargon, she blew me away with every arrangement she did.
Alyssa is so incredibly talented and puts her heart and soul into her work. I will never forget her handing me my bouquet as I was getting ready. It was such a beautiful arrangement and more than I even could have asked for in florals. Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she really strives to develop a connection with her brides. She is such a warm and friendly person and made me feel so comfortable and confident to trust her in this process. She is truly an artist and such an amazing person. Thank you so much Alyssa for making our special day so magical for us. You are a rockstar! -

They also provided flowers that were meant to be on an arbor but ended up on a mantle inside and made the room look so beautiful. A friend of my future Son-in-Law told us about The Posey Detail, but not knowing this friend personally I was a little leery. I am a very particular person and relying on other opinions is always difficult for me because they may not have the same standards and expectations that I have. That being said, I am so happy we took the plunge and hired The Posey Detail. Alyssa was so helpful and responsive and mindful of our budget. She worked with us to get us the most beautiful flowers and center pieces for our daughter's wedding. We described what we wanted and she created that and so much more! She went beyond our expectations and everything was absolutely perfect. The flowers were gorgeous...more beautiful than I could imagine and she hit the mark on achieving the feel my daughter wanted for the flowers. As it turned out, I didn't need to worry at all about the flowers so let me say...if you are a perfectionist and a worrier like me...hire The Posey Detail and be confident that they will deliver stunning flowers for the Church and reception and make your event beautiful! They even provided greenery for my daughter's wedding cake and they were exactly what we wanted and looked amazing! Easy to work with, beautiful flowers and the ability to get it all done within our budget...we couldn't be happier! She created beautiful bouquets for both the bride and bridesmaids, and made a breathtaking, cascading, arrangement for a 7ft wooden cross. The flowers were not only perfect, the ceremony was outside on a very hot day and the arrangement on the cross looked fresh and beautiful for the entire day. She stayed within our budget and was a joy to work with!

I bonded with Alyssa from the very first phone call we had for consultation as I was actually planning my wedding in the Harrisonburg, VA area from my home in Columbia, SC. We were referred to Alyssa by our wedding photographer as they are good friends and had previously worked together before. During planning it became evident that this had many benefits to it because as our Day of Coordinator, Alyssa was able to coordinate with our photographer to ensure the timelines all matched up well. In the end I can honestly say that my husband and I did not have a single moment of stress the entire day! Honestly! This is coming from a Type A detailed individual that plans and coordinates events and an annual conference every year for work. Alyssa was so professional and thought of everything during the planning process which made it so easy for me to just hand over the plans to her for execution on the big day. It was so wonderful to get to enjoy the day and see my entire family enjoying the day as well since Alyssa and her team had things taken care of logistically! We also utilized The Posey Detail for our florists which again was beneficial because it was one less vendor to coordinate with and their work is AMAZING! Alyssa does a fantastic job at taking your vision and making it a reality. Our theme was simple/classic with subtle art deco glam with platinum, dusty blue and an accent of cranberry as the colors, and this team hit the nail right on the head with execution! All of our blooms lasted throughout the day and into the next, I can say that they are hardy because mine even survived the ride from VA to SC two days later and then some. Alyssa was amazing to work with! During our first initial phone consultation I immediately knew I wanted to work with her due to her bubbly personality and how quickly she grasped my vision. Alyssa stayed within my budget and really made sure that everything I asked for was given to me. The florals and decor were absolutely stunning! make your day special.Throughout the wedding planning process she was always an email away. If I had any question or concern, she was always quick to respond. Alyssa listened to my vision, but gave me suggestions when I wanted it. She truly knows her stuff about weddings! She helped me find many of my wedding vendors and was conscious to help me stay within budget. Before our wedding day she coordinated with all of the vendors, helped set up a timeline, and we did a walk through of our venue. Alyssa was extremely detailed and helped us feel more at ease about the flow of the day. She helped me create checklists of what I needed to bring on the big day and has a large inventory of wedding decor such as votives, table numbers, signs, etc. to help your day feel DIY without spending all of the money buying it yourself! On our wedding day Alyssa was always behind the scenes. Everything went so smoothly and I know it was because Alyssa was orchestrating it all. She made sure there was someone constantly near my husband and I during the cocktail hour and reception in case we needed to be pulled along so we could greet everyone (or so we could eat!), made sure our glasses were full, or was right there to help if couldn't find something we were looking for. Our day truly would not have been possible without Alyssa! -

She was also flexible and worked within my budget to make my dreams come true. She really took my vision for beautiful fall flowers and colors and created the most gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces we have ever seen. The only complaint was that the boutonnieres flopped early in the night. Alyssa is much more affordable than some of the standard options in Charlottesville with great quality -- highly recommended!

Alyssa and her team use in season, gorgeous blooms. They also do a great job on the extra details: flowers for the cake, sheers, etc. We went over the flower proposal many times to make sure she had the right idea of what I wanted. My only wish is that I got to see the EXACT flowers that were going to be used in the wedding, because it was a little different than my vision, yet still gorgeous. -
