Lower Garden Wedding

Connie was an integral part of our wedding planning process at the Wolfeboro Inn and we are thankful they found her. After starting with one coordinator, going through an interim, then having no one to reply to our correspondences - Connie was a great find for the Inn. She has over 20 years of experience and brought that expertise to every conversation we had. From the day she introduced herself, all the way to the day after the wedding, we felt taken care of. Brad, the executive chef, was fantastic in making our wedding fully gluten free in order for myself and my many family members with Celiac Disease to feel safe. We had no worries in regards to eating delicious and Celiac friendly! We had many guests comment that it was one of the most fun weddings they have been to. We had our wedding in the tent in July and although it rained during the reception and we were warned of severe thunderstorms by WMUR, nobody even noticed when the walls of the tent came down! If you’re looking for a great, lakeside spot for your wedding - the Wolfeboro Inn is it!

Great Wedding!

Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be! Anything that we needed Connie and Kelsey were there. They were very hands on and took care of everything. When we arrived they took all of our things and brought them to the room and stored all our decorations until the next day. The flexibility in the schedule made our day enjoyable and not so regimented. Our food was phenomenal and so well done. I would plan an event with them and at the Wolfeboro Inn again!

The BEST place to get married!

I recently had my wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn and I cannot put in words how amazing it was. It was the absolute perfect location overlooking the water for our ceremony (they also have a beautiful gazebo if you prefer) and our outdoor reception under the tent was gorgeous and is perfectly situated on the property for privacy. While the location and beauty of the venue is gorgeous, their wedding coordinator Guen is the icing on the cake. She is truly amazing and we feel so lucky to have had her working with us throughout the whole process. From the moment we met with her to look at the venue, through all my countless emails and phone calls and then down to the very end of our wedding weekend she was absolutely AMAZING. She truly made our day so perfect even despite a few issues I had with my own vendors I had booked. Her assistant Emily along with the rest of the team were so warm and welcoming and we absolutely loved our bartender Ed. This was the second venue we looked at and immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. All the rooms are so quaint and my suite for the night before and night of the wedding was so spacious and couldn’t have been more perfect for us girls getting ready and also romantic for my husband and I’s wedding night. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say about their entire experience throughout the whole weekend there. Every staff member we ever encountered from the moment we checked in until the moment we were driving out of the parking lot was so accommodating and welcoming, always smiling and asking if there was anything they could do to help. The food was absolutely delicious not only at the wedding but also in the tavern for late night snacks and breakfast the next day. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and wish I could plan another wedding here! If I could give it 100 stars I would, I cannot wait to go back for our 1st year anniversary!!

Wonderful place to be married!

We absolutely loved getting married at the Wolfeboro Inn. Gwen is amazing and so organized and sweet. The venue was beautiful and the food delicious! We couldn't have asked for a better venue.

Perfect Location for a Lakeside Wedding!

Couldn't have been happier to have made our decision to host our wedding weekend at The Wolfeboro Inn. From our first tour and meeting with Guen to walking down the aisle, I was confident we were in good hands. There is so much I loved about having our wedding at the Inn, the things that mattered and stood out most to us and our families were;

1) A great location, (it was already a semi destination for a lot of people, I wanted it to be easy to get around)
2) A great team (from venue to band to hair/make up/photography videography)
3) And an unforgettable night with the best people (including great food/drink and little stress of course)

Wolfeboro is a beautiful little town that I had not spend a lot of time in prior. My guests loved staying in their area and exploring all that the town has to offer. From initial stages of planning to the day after, Guen was unbelievably responsive, & helpful. She was naturally aligned with all our visions from the rehearsal, ceremony, reception and our brunch the following day including decor, catering, timeline etc. I have so much respect for the amount of people and things she needs to coordinate and she does it all with ease and grace. I was heavily involved in the planning of our big day, but when it came to arriving at the Wolfeboro Inn on our wedding weekend, the execution was in the hands of Guen, Emily and their great and there wasn't a moment in time where I needed to worry! I truly enjoyed each moment of my wedding day and weekend as did my husband, stepdaughter parents family and friends. Guen even checked on our dog during the reception so with that she agrees as well! I highly encourage any brides to consider The Wolfeboro Inn, location is beautiful and the team will make sure your day is better then you can envision!

Amazing!!!

The Wolfeboro Inn is the perfect wedding venue. If you are looking for a picturesque setting in a quintessential New England town look no further. The grounds are well kept with beautiful landscaping. The inn is charming and intimate, and the rooms are well appointed. All the staff was warm and welcoming and it truly felt that they wanted to make our day special. We held our ceremony at the lower garden with the shoreline of Lake Winnipesaukee in the background. Our weather was perfect, and our guest commented with how peaceful and serene an outside venue in a busy town was. We held our cocktail hour and reception under a bistro tent on the main lawn and it was exactly how we pictured it would be. We looked at many other venues in the Lakes Region and know we made the best choice. Our overall experience exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend The Wolfeboro Inn for your wedding!

In addition to booking a beautiful venue The Wolfeboro Inn, you will gain a phenomenal wedding coordinator. Guen Kerr is personable, professional, detail oriented, organized, and truly loves what she does. We had the added stress of planning a wedding from California, and Guen made it seamless and easy to do so. She was responsive by emails and set up many detail phone calls and venue visits throughout the whole process. Guen’s help made all the difference in the world with planning everything down to minute details we hadn’t even thought of. On the day of, Guen and her team of coordinators made it easy and carefree for us which helped us have more time to enjoy with our friends and family. We know our dream wedding would not have been possible without Guen, and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for all she did for us.

Great venue and amazing wedding planner!

My husband and I just had a wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn! Guen was so helpful, nice, responsive, and great to work with. She made our wedding day go so smoothly.

The venue is affordable and the wedding packages include so much for the price! If you are looking to get married near the lake, this is the venue to go with.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with The Wolfeboro Inn! Growing up, I spent my summers in Wolfeboro and I always knew I wanted to get married at the Inn. It's a beautiful, classic, New England venue that offers multiple options for your big day given your personal style.

My husband and I planned our wedding weekend from California and Guen and her team did an amazing job of answering all of our questions and accommodating us given the distance. From our rehearsal lunch on the Winni Belle, ceremony by the gazebo and reception under the tent, to the after party and brunch in the 1812 Room the next day, we could not have asked for anything more!

The food was delicious and I loved that there are various options for dinner during your reception. We chose the "Small Plates" option which offered guests a variety of stations rather than a standard buffet or seated dinner.
Everything went so smoothly from start to finish and that's exactly what you want on your wedding day. I'm so glad we chose The Wolfeboro Inn and highly recommend Guen and the entire staff!

When we first booked the Wolfeboro inn, we met with Nicole. A few months later Nicole left, and we were put in the hands of Lori. Long story short, Laura, who is now the replacement for both Nicole and Lori, stepped in. Let me tell you, this may have been seen as a red flag to some, but Laura never missed a beat! She responded to emails in a timely manner, she has been doing this for years and it showed! My husband and I fell in love with the Inn because it was small, intimate, and located on the beautiful lake! The rooms were perfect for our guests, the food was great. Unlike some of these wedding venues who have multiple wedding wash day, Laura and her team made us feel like we were the only ones that mattered! If I could do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing!

My wife and I could not have chosen a more incredible venue for our wedding. From the moment we walked in the front doors, the staff was kind and courteous and we were taken away by the beautiful rustic elegance of the inn.

We selected our venue and began working with the wonderful event staff there. Lucy and Laura, the two event managers at the inn, are an absolute pleasure to work with. They are enthusiastic, kind, helpful, and incredibly talented at what they do in making events successful.

This past weekend was our wedding and it was amazing. The event went off without a hitch. The food was amazing, the rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff and service was above and beyond what you could get anywhere.

After the wedding, my wife and I stayed for a few days for a mini honeymoon of sorts and I'm so glad we did. It was like being at a home away from home. It was so relaxing and so nice to be surrounded by such wonderful people (the staff) in such a nice and comfortable inn.

And I will say, if you have thought about a winter wedding...do it and have it at the Wolfeboro Inn. Then stay for a few days afterwards to relax and unwind. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I cannot thank or praise the Wolfeboro Inn enough. Shout outs to: Lucy, Laura, Susie, Francine, Rachel, Cindy, Debbie, Gracie, Aaron, Josh, and the list goes on, but those are just some of the wonderful people my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting and working with during prior to our wedding, while we were there, after our stay, or some mixture of the above.

Our wedding at The Wolfeboro Inn was, in every way possible, absolutely perfect. I wasn’t totally into wedding planning, but Nicole and her team made everything easier for us. They pulled everything together on the day of the wedding – the tent, the tables, chairs and linens were gorgeous, and they took care of setting everything up on the day of the wedding. It was breathtaking!
Nicole was always easy to get in touch with and very responsive; she’s a pleasure to work with and will guide you through every step of the process with patience and a smile! Jumping into wedding details can be overwhelming, but Nicole was very knowledgeable in the industry and she was a great resource when we had questions! We really appreciated that a lot of things were included in the base wedding packages for the reception and the food was delicious, everyone raved about it at the wedding!
We had our ceremony down by the water, which was gorgeous, I can’t believe how great the photos look with the lake in the background. Everyone had a great time – we took the Belle out for a sunset cruise the Friday before the wedding, and our guests loved hanging out at the Inn on the wedding day and exploring the town! We held the after party in the Wolfe’s Tavern, which was convenient since plenty of guests were staying at the Inn! We got married in June, and 2 ½ months later, people are still telling us what an amazing time they had and that it was the best wedding they’ve been too besides their own! Get married here, you won’t regret it!!

The Wolfeboro Inn is a wonderful setting for any occasion. It was our second marriage for each of us and we seeked elegance but quaint atmosphere. The Inn was perfect. They offered many optional venues in regards to event rooms. We used the 1812 room with the deck. The night was fantastic. It started with the outdoor ceremony at the gazebo over looking the lake then cocktails on the deck and a delicious meal inside. Nicole Gosselin coordinated it all for us. She is knowledgable and professional. Her expertise in this field radiates and makes you feel secure in your decisions you have made. The staff was attentive to all our guest while serving appetizers and meals. The Inn itself was highly rated by all our overnight guest as well. I could not be more please with the way we were handled from beginning to end. The Inn is great and Nicole is over the top as I would recommend The Wolfeboro Inn for any size wedding or special event.

The Wolfeboro Inn was the quintessential New England lakeside venue. On the evening before the wedding, we hosted a cruise on the Winnipesaukee Belle, the replica of a steamboat owned by the Inn, and our guests enjoyed a splendid cruise. The views, the food, and the service were exemplary. On the day of the wedding, the wedding party and guests were again treated to phenomenal service by the staff at the Wolfeboro Inn. The venue looked amazing and it is obvious from observing the setup that every person on staff took care of the many details to create an elegant and stunning ceremony and reception space. Nicole Gosselin is an exceptional wedding coordinator, she was available to answer every (and many) questions prior to the event and superbly managed the day of activities. The staff in Wolfe's Tavern graciously handled the post wedding gathering for our guests. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

My husband and I spend most of our weekends up at Lake Winnipesaukee and we've always found Wolfeboro to be such a quaint, beautiful town. So when we got engaged and were looking for a venue the Wolfeboro Inn was one of the top choices for us. What really sold us in the end was the wedding coordinator, Nicole. Nicole is such an easy-going, attentive, organized professional and she made the entire wedding process easy from the start. She answered all of my questions within a couple hours of me asking-- and I had A LOT of questions. She even gave advice when needed which was extremely helpful as I was a new bride and really had no idea what I was doing. When our wedding day came and all the plans were finally put into motion, I was blown away by how gorgeous the whole day turned out. There were absolutely no hiccups. And if there were I knew nothing about them. Nicole kept everything on time and running smoothly until the very last minute of the event. My guests had such an amazing time and we couldn't have asked for a better day. The lake holds such an important meaning to us and to be able to celebrate our wedding day at the Wolfeboro Inn was a dream come true. The venue is beautifully maintained and the staff is outstanding.

My husband and I recently held our wedding and reception at the Wolfeboro Inn, and are completely satisfied with the excellent service, professionalism and patience that Nicole provided throughout our entire wedding journey.

As many already know, the wedding planning process can be quite stressful and difficult to manage on your own. It is especially critical that you have support and guidance throughout each phase leading up to the big day. From day one, Nicole was extremely helpful, supportive and friendly. Whenever I had any questions, I received a response promptly and with the right amount of information to help me make a decision. Her attention to detail and organization was exceptional, and because of her enthusiasm and love for weddings, I always felt as if we were her only customers…she truly helped made our wedding so unique and special.

On our wedding day, the ambiance was perfect - everything was exactly how I had envisioned... but better! Because of the hardworking staff at the Inn, our guests raved about their overall experience. The food was cooked perfectly and the servers and bartenders were friendly, attentive and funny! Furthermore, there was plenty of space for our family and friends to relax and enjoy the party whether it was by the fire pits, in the Tavern or down on the beach looking out onto beautiful Lake Winnepesaukee.

Thank you to Nicole and everyone at the Wolfeboro Inn for making our wedding so special and memorable. We couldn't imagine having had our special day anywhere else in the world.

The location was delightful and the services provided were impeccable. Our coordinator, Nicole, was always available by phone or in person to answer all our questions. She was never surprised by any of our questions and if she didn't have an answer immediately, she got right back to us. She was very professional, kind and a pleasure to work with.

What a beautiful place for a wedding. We got married last weekend, and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. The Christmas decorations go up right after Thanksgiving, so we didn't need to provide a lot of extra. The ceremony was in the lobby, in front of the big stone fireplace.
Nicole was great throughout the entire process, always answering any questions we had, and making sure we had everything covered.
The food was great, and the staff handled the majority of setup and take down. They are flexible with the furniture options, so you can customize things as you like.
Our reception ended at 9, so the Tavern made for a great place for an after party. They had a live band, so the party kept rocking right up until closing time.
The entire weekend was just about perfect.

I LOVE THE WOLFEBORO INN! We looked at 5 venues, the second one was Wolfeboro Inn and I would have booked it then on the spot but wanted to at least pretend to shop around. What drew me to the Inn was the vintage, rustic feel of it all. The lower lawn is breathtaking and I'd suggest a ceremony here rather than the gazebo purely for a better view of the lake. The food was INCREDIBLE and we all know how bland/poorly cooked wedding food can be. Wolfe's tavern was the perfect place for an after party, too! The ONLY, and I mean only thing I would change is that the ceilings in the ballroom are low, so be careful with that. We hung string lights on the ceiling and my husband's friends are all over 6 feet so they were dancing with their hands up in between the lights. That and I broke them during my bouquet toss (oops). The carpet is a harsh red color but my florist blended in some reds/maroons with my flowers to help with that and to be honest I did not even notice it come the day of the wedding. Enough about the venue, let's talk about Nicole Gosselin aka the most incredible wedding coordinator you'll ever find. She is super friendly, professional, responds to emails in a very timely fashion and overall a super fun person to work with. She made us feel like we were the only wedding last year!! I can't wait to visit the Inn next year for our anniversary! Thanks again to Nicole and everyone at the Wolfeboro Inn for making our wedding unforgettable!!

My husband and I were married this past July 4th, and the Wolfeboro Inn was the perfect location. Nicole was wonderful to work with, and I knew after meeting her at the initial consultation that we would have nothing to worry about during our months of planning. For our rehearsal dinner we took 60 guests out on the Winnipesaukee Belle, which guests really enjoyed. The food was great on the boat as well, as we toured the lake. The day of the wedding staff was very attentive to guests and the entire reception was very relaxed. Guests enjoyed amazing food, walking down by the lake, and dancing all night. We even had a perfect view to watch the beautiful firework display. Our family and friends continue to to tell us how our wedding was the best they have every been too, and how much they enjoyed staying in Wolfeboro the entire weekend.

I'm not sure how to begin this review since we were soooo in love with every detail of our wedding day. BUT I guess I'll begin with our venue search about a year before our wedding. My husband and I only looked at 2 venues (Wolfeboro Inn and 1 other on the other side of the lake). The other wedding venue felt like a total wedding factory. There were 3 weddings there that day and the coordinator was so stressed trying to meet with us in between working the weddings that she was visibly sweating, hahah. Our experience when we first visited Wolfeboro was the total opposite; It was quiet, lovely, and Nicole gave us her full attention. We loved the inn so much that we decided to end our search and book with Nicole a few days later. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, Nicole was always super responsive (and I feel like I really harassed her with 9 billion emails and questions every other day haha!!). Fast forward to the day the day of the wedding... Our ceremony was on the lower lawn, and because the backdrop was so gorgeous, we had no decorations at all :). After the ceremony, we had our cocktail hour on the Winni Belle which was the BEST part of the wedding, hands down. Our reception was under the tent, which was gorgeous, especially when the firepits outside of it were lit. Our food was delicious and so many guests commented on how much they loved the salmon and the polenta! I feel pretty awesome when people tell me our wedding was legitimately the best wedding they've ever been to, and I have to thank Wolfeboro Inn and Nicole for that!!! I wish I could do the whole thing all over again ;).

Nicole at the Wolfeboro Inn was AMAZING from start to finish! She was very prompt in her email responses to me with all my questions. She made our wedding day perfect beyond words!!! We had to change things up a bit due to the rainy weather and everything was still amazing! She was a pleasure to work with! The food was delicious as well!!

If you are looking for the perfect venue for a smallish wedding (approximately 64 people) the Winnipesaukee Belle is ideal in every possible way.
Our planning experience began with our first meeting with the Wolfeboro Inn wedding planner Nicole Gossenlin. After our first meeting, I was very relaxed, as I knew Nicole had everything well in hand. She had asked us many, many questions, listened very carefully, and then worked very closely with us on every aspect of the wedding. Moving forward to the special day, Nicole was pleasingly responsive to all our emails and calls, would give us advice when needed, and worked closely with our DJ and our baker to make certain that they had everything they needed in place the day of the wedding. Nicole always made us feel like our wedding was the only wedding she was working on and that we were of the highest of priorities to her.
We met with the boat staff on the day of the wedding, we first met with the head of the wait staff who explained when and how servings would commence after the ceremony. All was perfectly planned out ahead of time by the staff. We then met with the Captain of the Belle, to discuss where we wanted the cruise to go. As he knew the lake so well, we asked him to take the cruise to the most beautiful vistas on the lake. I could not have been more pleased and was constantly astounded by the scenery that was always in view, allowing for some of the most breathtaking pictures. After the ceremony, the wait staff served appetizers to our guests who surrounded every aspect of the boat. Music from the DJ could be heard, at a pleasing level, on all corners of the boat.
With Nicole’s and the staffs exceptional help and knowledge, the final results were that our wedding far exceeded our dreams and wants. To Nicole, the wait staff, the captain and the DJ, Thank you all, so very much, for making our day spectacular in every respect. We are still receiving wonderful compliments on an amazing wedding.

The Wolfeboro Inn is a perfect wedding venue. We had an amazing experience from our first tour of the grounds to our multiple on-site meetings, and finally on our wedding night! Nicole was so helpful and responsive throughout the year with planning and coordination. She brings organization, great energy and a lot of wedding experience to every piece of the planning process and we were so happy to have her and the entire Wolfeboro Inn staff running our big day. We can't wait to return for many anniversaries to come!

From the day of our first meeting with Nicole to the day of our wedding, I could not be happier with the entire experience. Nicole was always quick to respond, great at making recommendations, listened to everything (and remembered) what my husband and I wanted, and she always greets you with a smile! Nicole made sure everything was perfect for our wedding! The dinner room was the perfect location for our rehearsal dinner. The next morning you could walk downstairs to the Tavern and have one of the best meals you’ve ever had. Wolfeboro itself is such a perfect little town to enjoy for the weekend. We had our ceremony outside and the flowers and landscaping was beautiful in May! Our reception was in the ballroom downstairs which easily held 100 guest. Nicole set up the ballroom just as we wanted - it was absolutely beautiful. If you’re still debating on your wedding venue look no further than the Wolfeboro Inn….I promise it will be nothing short of spectacular!

The Wolfeboro Inn did an awesome job. The wedding was on the Winnipesaukee Belle. The captain was awesome, as well as his daughter and wife which were servers. The bartender Torren was so friendly. They even had to turn around for that one couple who was late, re-dock and then take off again, not once showing any aggravation. The Inn was very accommodating and patient in planning this wedding that was put together in under 2 months. Nicole was extremely helpful in all of this.

When I sent an inquiry a year ago to see if the Wolfeboro Inn would be available to host our wedding, I was surprised and pleased that it was. I am familiar with Wolfeboro and the charm of the town and thought it would be the perfect place to have our wedding and IT WAS! From the first meeting with Nicole to the day of our wedding, I could not be happier with the over all experience. Nicole was very responsive, and attentive to our needs, always there with a smile! The front desk receptionists were also so willing to help in any way they could, offering a place to keep handbags, watch over flowers, etc. The private dining room was perfect for our small wedding party and the staff never left us feeling abandoned. The food was excellent! And our room accommodations were wonderful! The ability to have breakfast in the Tavern (which was also very good) the next morning was awesome!! I would highly recommend the Wolfeboro Inn to anyone looking to hold a wedding or any other celebratory event - I am sure that what ever expectations they have will be by far exceeded just as mine were. Thank you Nicole and the entire Wolfeboro Inn staff for helping to make our wedding day so, so special!!

Our Experience with planning and enjoying our wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn was nothing short of spectacular. Nicole Gosselin is quite a professional but also very warm and easy to work with she really became a friend in the process. We planned and had our wedding in a short period of time and the value of her responsiveness and follow up made our decision making as easy as possible. We are not from the area so we needed some recommendations for flowers, cake, spa, photographer, and every one of them came from Nicole and they were all excellent. The Inn itself is a very nice place with an older feel but a refined beauty and you cannot beat the view of the lake. The suite we had was amazing, quite large and had everything we could have asked for. All in all I would certainly recommend to anyone and the town itself is a great place for families to enjoy and experience.

We recently moved to Wolfeboro and was in search of the perfect place to get married. After seeing several venues- we met with Nicole. She was professional, patient, understanding and most importantly treated us as if we were the only wedding she was planning. We had the most picturesque wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn in October - it far exceeded any and all of our expectations. Nicole was instrumental to my wedding planning! She always returned my calls, emails, and many questions right away and always made time for me when I had to drop in last minute. She fulfilled my every request (big and small) and ensured everything was set up/carried out exactly how we discussed. She took detailed notes from every meeting, conversation, and email we exchanged, I couldn't believe it-she remembered EVERYTHING!! She set up all of my decorations and made the wedding look absolutely beautiful! I had forgotten to bring a few important details, but Nicole came to the rescue by implementing what we needed.

Finally, everything I consulted with her, she kept my best interest in mind (i.e. saving money, comfort, decor, etc). Nicole is very professional, organized, and outstanding at what she does! I hope I get another fun occasion to work with her in the future!

My husband and I had our wedding on July 5th on an absolutely PERFECT day in Wolfeboro! We live in Hong Kong, but he is from Boston and I am from New Jersey and we picked the Wolfeboro Inn because I have been going to Lake Winnipesaukee my whole life. It is my favorite place in the world and we really wanted a wedding on the lake.
From the start, Nicole was great to work with! Planning a wedding from the other side of the planet presented some unique challenges, and Nicole was so flexible! Since we couldn't attend any of the tasting events, she and the staff accommodated us for a private tasting when we were home for Christmas. She was available early for phone calls since we couldn't call during the day and was very responsive to our emails, which is how we did most of the planning! And for the entire year that we worked with her, she always made us feel like our wedding was important to her and that she was excited about it too!
We had our rehearsal dinner on the Winnipesaukee Bell and afterwards had our other guests join us for drinks for a cruise around the lake. The food was amazing and despite the rain, everyone had a fantastic time! It was a really unique and fun way to spend the night!
The wedding could not have been more perfect!! We had the reception in the tent outside and even though it had poured the day before, you wouldn't have known it... any wet/muddy spots were completely covered. We did a buffet and the food was excellent. All the decorations we brought were arranged perfectly.
After the reception all our guests continued the evening in Wolfe's Tavern, which was a blast! After a long, amazing day and night my new husband and I finally went back to our room and there were 2 big plates of food for us, which we inhaled, with a beautiful note from Nicole and our first framed picture as a married couple... so nice!!
Everything about the entire experience was awesome... get married there!!

Everyone at the Wolfeboro Inn was amazing!!! Heres an example of the full service you will received as a bride at the Wolfeboro Inn. The Friday morning before my wedding, I had scheduled a nail day with some of my ladies in a nearby salon. We decided to stop at the Wolfeboro Inn first to unload some of the wedding stuff. This was before check inn but was not a problem. Of course we were running late and I had merely mentioned this to there receptionist. After making a few short trips from the car to the Nicole's office, the receptionist informed me that she had called the salon on my behalf to tell them i was running 5-10 minutes. It was a great start to the weekend. Nicole and the rest of the staff were amazing. We did the buffet and everyone loved it! We had our DJ tell everyone to go to the The Wolfe's Tavern after the reception. It was perfect. We also recommend having your wedding party book the 2 bedrooms with the shared large balcony, because this became the after, after party for us. We had no issue in these rooms, the staff never asked us to be quiet. Maybe we weren't loud, but I'm not sure. By the time my husband and I made it back to our bridal suite, there were two plates of food. Exactly what we needed! The rooms where perfect, clean and nice. We loved the robes! We recommend staying Sunday night, Sunday morning will be spent saying good bye to all the friends and family. By noon, you know have a chance to sit at the Wolfeboro Inn's beach, rent a jet ski right from the Inn, and/or walk around the cutest downtown area. Basically I love the Wolfeboro Inn, they are amazing. My husband and I love it and we have already booked next years vacation.

The Wolfeboro Inn was very accommodating and wonderful service! The Staff had such a great attitude and were so helpful! They had turn down service at night when my husband and I ending our wonderful wedding night we came back to the room and they had a meal for us with our bed turned down and a wonderful atmosphere. All the guest had such a great time and Nicole was so helpful with everything! My husband and I highly recommend this venue we can't wait to stay there again!

The staff at the Wolfeboro Inn were amazing. They took care of my every need. The place was immaculate and the staff was so happy and helpful. Paula at the Wolfeboro was amazing both during the process and the big day! Our DJ from Main Events got my party literally dancing the whole night! Our officiant Sharon Curole has become a friend during this whole process. Everyone raved about the ceremony she put together! Tangles Salon made myself and my girls feel so welcome and did an amazing job making us all feel beautiful! I even told them to crash the wedding because I loved them so much! And our photographer Marina was on top of everything! And the photobooth she did was a huge hit with all guests! Wolfeboro Inn worked amazingly with my vendors and the teamwork really showed! As well as their personal touches! Thank you so much for making my wedding exactly how I imagined it! We also LOVED coming back to our room with all the sweet romantic surprises left as well as the sandwiches. We were starved, so thoughtful!!! Thank you again!!

The entire team was SO extremely helpful! They made it easy for me to relax on the big day. They set it all up for us, and followed all of my instructions to a tee. Not only did they make it look beautiful, but each person I came in contact with went out of their way to make my day special.

I had my wedding aboard the Winnipesaukee Belle, we had an extremely diverse group of children, adults and elderly. The staff went out of their way to ensure that every detail was executed flawlessly, and that all of the guests were well taken care of. The captain made sure that we were all happy and that we got a beautiful view of the sunset and all of the area. Overall, the staff made my event a night that I and all of my guest will be talking about for a lifetime. I can't say enough about how great my experience with this venue was!!

Our wedding was amazing! The whole process went off without any issues. Many of our friends and family said it was the best wedding they had been to! The food was amazing (everyone loved the swordfish! also the stations were the perfect choice)!!, Paula could not have been better (so helpful, responsive, organized! She helped make everything end up perfect!!), the grounds of the inn were immaculate and the view could not be any better. Everyone had a blast! We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding in the area!

The wolfeboro Inn knocked our party out of the park! Everything from the boat cuise to the dinner buffet was perfect in everyway. Most impressive was the food. Who does gourmet dinning for 97 people? I would go back in a heart beat. All my guests raved about the service, food and relaxed friendly atmosphere. There are not enough thank yous to to extend for making a dream birthday come true. The staff at the Wolfeboro Inn were incredibly helpful and understanding during the wedding planning process. Since my husband is in the military, we had to wait until the month before to set a date, and the wedding coordinator was more than flexible, which we certainly appreciated. We were a very small wedding, 12 people total, and they created a very intimate, relaxing, and romantic atmosphere for our dinner. The food was fantastic, and overall we had a perfect day in our eyes. I would absolutely recommend them!

Honestly, I cannot say anything bad about Wolfeboro. I'm always hesitant to give a place a perfect 5 stars, because I don't want to set the bar too high for them. But let me briefly explain:

Paula & staff were awesome. She was responsive, answered all my questions, and was a friendly face during the days before. She even helped me deal with my mother (who was a bit of a handful) prior to the event. Paula balanced everything so well, and her staff even went so far to make table numbers for us (we had a Portal game based cake, and they designed the table numbers after that). It was such a pleasure that they thought, and included, those little details.

Wolfeboro Inn itself is beautiful. I wish that their ceremony venue was actually on the lake - but it still oversees the lake. And you will get some amazing photos from the angle. I hadn't seen the location prior to getting married there (I live in Los Angeles), but trusted my dad to proxy. The inside is incredible, and the room that we got for the reception was big enough to host my family, but small enough to make it cozy.

And the food! Oh my goodness, the food was incredible. Since my husband and I were off taking photos, they were done passing around hors d'oeuvres by the time we got back, but they had set aside a few for us to munch on (we were starving!). Everything was delicious.

It was the first place that I found that had an extensive VEGETARIAN menu (which I am one, but my husband isn't) and it was easy to add a meat carving station as well.

Honestly, if I could go back and do it over again, I would still choose Wolfeboro. Paula made my experience memorable, and the whole staff was so nice.

Their decor is a little mod and has a lot of stripes, but I love that kind of rustic/vintage-y feel, and it was great.

While Wolfeboro is a bit of a higher budget, it is definitely well worth the price for the location and the great staff - that's why I still think it was a great value. It was practically flawless.

The wolfeboro inn was amazing for our wedding ceremony and reception. Nicole Gosselin is the sweetest and most professional coordinator. I would email her so many times and she would respond quickly and was very helpful. The day of the wedding she was incredibly calm and made sure everything went as planned. I 100% recommend the Inn for your wedding!

Everything about our wedding was perfect thanks to all of the help we received from the Wolfeboro Inn. The whole experience was easy and stress free from the time we booked the venue through the whole event. Nicole was great and made sure that everything went according to plan, I didn't have to think about anything. We had an amazing wedding and our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say!

We had a wonderful experience at the Inn, they were very accomodating. We couldn't have picked a better place to have our wedding. All our friends and family enjoyed themselves immensely. Every detail was exactly what we asked for. Exceeded all my expectations.

Beautiful lakeside wedding

Connie and Kelsey were amazing day of coordinators making sure everything ran smoothly. The day wouldn’t have gone the same without them! The inn grounds were beautiful for our outdoor ceremony and the 1812 room was amazing for our micro wedding! The outdoor fire pit was so fun to be around the night before the wedding with family and friends! We had so much fun and would recommend this place to everyone we know!

We cannot say enough about how FABULOUS the staff at the Wolfeboro Inn is! They took such care and put so much thought into our day! Guen is a rockstar. We could NOT have done it without her. In the middle of our After Party, I looked over and saw her walking through the venue - three hours after she was scheduled to go home! She was responsive, caring, thoughtful, extremely nice and genuinely seemed excited for us. All couples are sad when their wedding is over for many reasons, but one of ours is definitely that we won't be able to talk to Guen every day! Tiana and the Banquet Staff were INCREDIBLE. They were prompt, friendly and professional. We were very, very happy with everything!

Thanks to the staff at the Wolfeboro Inn, my wedding was the most magical day of my life! Leading up to the big day, it was always a pleasure working with Nicole and Lucy – they were always poised, responsive, and totally put me at ease throughout the planning process. They went over and above to accommodate our requests and make the day about us. For example, we really wanted our dinner service done a certain way – a way that the Inn had never done before – and instead of shooting us down and keeping us in a box of amenities, they met with the chef and figured out a way to meet our request while maintaining the integrity of the food and service. They always put the bride and groom first, while ensuring that the delivered product was the best it could be.
The wedding itself was as perfect and ran as smoothly as I could imagine. If something didn’t go the way it was supposed to, I never knew it! Everything from the tent setup, ceremony flow, cocktail hour, dinner service, cake cutting, management of the band, photographers, florist, and all of the other vendors….. Everything moved seamlessly and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was outstanding – wedding food isn’t supposed to be that good. We had our ceremony at the gazebo and our tent on the lawn… I was worried about the space, but the tent was set up with great flow and it was the perfect space for our 100 guests.
Your wedding day is one of the most important day of your life and the event staff at the Wolfeboro Inn gets that. Our day was easy, beautiful, and all I had to worry about was enjoying myself and not spilling champagne on my dress :) If only we could do it all over again!

If you are even thinking for a slight second this could be the place to have your wedding, just say yes! I had a very small 29 persons wedding here, we got married on site at the gazebo. I just can't think of one thing that I could of wished for because it all turned out so perfectly. Working with Nicole was such a pleasure, she's absolutely wonderful and makes all your worries go away. Being able to get married at the gazebo with the lake in the background, then have guests walk inside for the beautiful reception. We got the 1812 room which was so perfect! It had these big windows that gave you beautiful views of the lake. Then being able to stay the night at the Inn which I believe most of the wedding packages they offer include the bridal suite, which again was AWESOME! I had small plans for have a small wedding , but at the end of the day with every detail worked out and the help from the Wolfeboro Inn I got something even better, an unforgettable and perfect wedding.

My husband and I had a great experience having our wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn. Paula was fantastic and very easy to deal with. She always responded right away whenever I emailed her with questions, you can tell she was very experienced when dealing with weddings. Some of the things that made the Wolfeboro Inn stand out was the beautiful backdrop. We had our rehearsal dinner on the Winnepesaukee Belle and I would highly recommend that! We had our wedding ceremony outside in front of the garden gazebo and our reception under the tent. Having an outside wedding was very important to us. We had the buffet and the food was excellent. Another personal touch that we thought was great was when we went back to our room at the end of the night there was a tray of food and champagne waiting for us. In addition to the food and drink there was a picture of us right after we got married already in a frame along with a gift certificate for a one night stay for our one year anniversary. It was a nice personal touch at the end of our day!
There were a few things that didn't seem to go as planned. There was a mix up with my husbands hotel room the night before the wedding so he ended up without a room, luckily his family had rented a house nearby that he could stay at. My husbands parents table was not placed where we had put it on the diagram and they ended up behind other tables when they were supposed to be close to us right on the dance floor. And the last thing was with the buffet. There was only one buffet line for over 160 people, which made it seem like some people had to wait a lot longer then others to eat and one of the last tables to be called up was my husbands parents and grandparents table, I feel like they should have been called up in the beginning.
Overall I would still highly recommended this venue and Paula!! The few mix ups were only noticed by us and we didn't let it ruin our day.

Great experience!

Having our wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn was one of the best choices we have ever made! The venue and grounds are gorgeous! Right on the lake! You have a few options of where to have your ceremony and reception which I really liked. The coordinator, Guen was incredible!!! The day of she made sure everything was perfect! Her team was awesome! We really appreciated all of their work.
Our only negative is that there was some issues with people getting charged twice for their rooms but once they called to fix it, everything was all set!!

Planning a wedding from afar was pretty tough for my husband and I, but Nicole and Lucy made it so easy for us to have a great wedding! I worked mostly with Nicole, and then the last month was with Lucy. Both were very accommodating and flexible with our needs, and really made the planning straight forward and worry-free! The setting is gorgeous, the inn is beautiful, and the town is so cozy and welcoming. We loved our experience at The Wolfeboro Inn, and definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to get married in the Lakes Region!

My biggest word of advice for couples considering the Wolfeboro Inn is to trust that Nicole Gosselin (catering manager) knows exactly what she is doing. It was really hard for me (the bride) to trust that everything would be done exactly as I wanted it to, so I asked a LOT of questions and triple confirmed a million things. Not only was Nicole was patient with me, but she was one step ahead of me during the whole process. At the end of the day, she was more prepared for our big day than I could have ever been!

Overall a great experience!!

The weather did not cooperate with our plans to have the ceremony outside, but Connie and her team were very flexible and made things as comfortable and smooth as possible. The morning of the wedding, they treated us like royalty and eased our nerves about little things that came up. There was some major confusion about the room reservations for our wedding party, but they made it work and I don't fault Connie or her team for the mix ups.

I would like to start by saying Nicole Gosselin, as mentioned in other reviews, is an absolute gem when it comes to wedding planning. She is laid back, sweet, has a sense of humor, and is great at what she does. She is quick to respond and did not get frustrated with my emails of question after question, there is something to be said for that. :) She made planning our rehearsal dinner/ceremony/reception from 1900 miles away very smooth. Because of her services I would highly recommend this venue for an event in the future.
With that being sad, our weekend was not exactly perfect at the Inn. Overall, the ceremony and reception were great. The staff was friendly and efficient and everyone had a great time. During the rehearsal dinner, we were given a projector that did not have sound, so that was a bit of a pain to fix but luckily we had a guest who was experienced with things of such nature. At the Wolfe's Tavern after the reception we had a poor experience with the manager on duty which was unfortunate and left an overall bad taste in our mouths to the venue as a whole. This is true of many of our guests also, which again is unfortunate because it all could have been avoided. Understandably the Inn has a job to do and this matter has since been discussed, but it still is a lingering topic that is being discussed three months after our big day and that is very disappointing. Because of this treatment I would still recommend the Inn but I would look elsewhere for your after party events or at least request ahead of time to be told who is on staff that night. I am happy to share the specific name of the manager if anyone has apprehensions, just thought it best not to post it on here.
That being said the location is great, the views of the lake are beautiful and the hotel itself is nice to stay at. The food was great, service aside from the one person was great, and overall we did have a positive experience at this venue and look forward to visiting in the future.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! The Wolfeboro Inn and Especailly Paula did an amazing job. I really enjoyed working with Paula! She did the best she could to make sure everything was Perfect. I was hoping to spend a little more time at the Rehearsal Dinner to make sure everyone knew what they were doing because on the Day of the Wedding I ended up chacing a lot of people trying to make sure where they were. This was Partial due to the fact that our guests ended up being late to the Rehearsal Dinner due to the Extreme Traffic and difficultly of traveling Down Town. I also think that the Wedding Cake should have been served to the guests at the Tables. We had asked for this, but it was not a huge deal that it did not happen, but a lot of people didnt even know there was cake for them. Over all the Wedding was Absolutely Stunning and no one even knew that things were not planned the way they happened. I just wanted to Provide some advice to take a little more Stress off the Bride because the Day flies by for the Bride and she should be able to enjoy all of her planning too. I would like to Thank everyone that helped with our Wedding! We got so many compliments on everything. Thank you so much for helping make our very special day coe true!

The Wolfeboro Inn was a beautiful location for our wedding; the tent was stunning and the lake provided the perfect backdrop. The ceremony was lovely in front of the gazebo. All our guests enjoyed the food during cocktail hour and the reception. There seemed to be "lags" during the dinner when all the guests were sitting and waiting to be told to go to the buffet; myself and husband initiated the process as it became an awkward pause. The staff was kind though I did not have a chance to interact with them much throughout the night. The overall service/responsiveness during the event as well as the restaurant is very slow. We were hoping to have more time to dance/enjoy the night, versus waiting for guests to be asked to the buffet (per guests report that they were not asked for some time). Other than this piece, the night was wonderful, Nicole was kind and we will certainly be looking forward to staying at the Inn again.

Absolutely would not recommend until they hire a new event coordinator

We had our wedding at the Wolfeboro Inn on June 12th, earlier this year. Although the day ended up going smoothly by the end, I absolutely would not recommend this venue to any other bride. We decided on this venue in November 2021 at the recommendation of a family member and after touring it. We signed a contract by the end of the year and all was going smoothly. Around March, our experience became progressively worse. The primary event coordinator left and the other worker, named Corin, took over. From that point on, we didn't get a straight answer about anything. I asked for weeks for details about hotel room costs and what (if anything) was included; never got a proper response. Everything was "I'll check" or "Let me see." As an event coordinator, she did not seem to know the answer to a single question. We even called the front desk to ask about hotel room costs and were told they'd check with Corin. The day before our wedding, I was informed we would have to pay about $1,000 for the hotel rooms for 1 night.

At our menu tasting, we asked about options to accommodate 3 vegetarians in our guest list. We ended up agreeing that 3 fish filets could be made separately since the guests would eat everything else on the menu. Fast forward 2 weeks before the wedding, Corin calls to talk about the menu and says she can't accommodate the 3 vegetarians.

During the planning process, Corin would complain about other brides on the phone to me while trying to give me updates on our events. I also received Facebook messages from other brides in planning groups asking if I was able to get ahold of anyone recently.

The week of the wedding, I ask if we're able to decorate the reception room the day before and Corin assured me that would be fine since we are the *only event that weekend.* When we arrive the day before the wedding, the reception room has another event occurring that wouldn't be done for a few more hours. Friends and family had arrived early to help us set up just to be told that it couldn't be done for at least 6-7 more hours. Corin's response was that she forgot about the other event but "they would be done soon."

The morning of the wedding, I saw my husband outside setting up the ceremony and running extensions cords for the music instead of relaxing and prepping with his groomsmen. Corin didn't arrive until after 10 AM that morning after we were told she would get there very early to set up the arch and chairs.

The day of the wedding, Corin served dinner before my husband and I even entered the reception. We went upstairs to change our shoes and come back down for dinner when I received a text from a bridesmaids that servers were currently serving dinner. When our bridesmaids asked why on earth food was being served without us, the response was that "well it is time to serve dinner." My husband nearly lost his composure at this point in the weekend.

I made detailed lists of where the decor should go, the music to be played, what order to walk down in, and even wrote the majority of the ceremony script. It wasn't until after the wedding that I found out by talking with other staff at the hotel that we were supposed to be provided with those timelines rather than trying to figure it out ourselves.

Thankfully our friends, family, and some of the other staff we met were very helpful and accommodating to make our day go smoothly. But I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this venue to any other couples until they replace the event coordinator due to the lack of organization, communication, and professionalism.

Poor service

We had a poor experience at the Inn. They have had a lot of staff turnover and do not currently (as of May 2022) have a qualified event/wedding coordinator. We had a lot of stress in planning the entire event, including on the wedding day, and received very little support from the Inn. I would not recommend having your wedding here unless the Inn gets new owners/management
