5 star service all around!
I can’t say enough good things about White Apron as the caterer for our wedding. The food and the service on the day of was unbelievably amazing. Our wedding was tented on the ocean and a kitchen had to be built, which they executed flawlessly.
Not only was the experience on the wedding day wonderful, but our family still talks about the day of our tasting. Jay and his team made it a one of a kind experience. It was after that we knew we made the right choice hiring White Apron. If you are looking for 5 star food & service, look no further than this team -

I have never written a review in my life but I feel compelled to this time. White apron catered my daughter’s Maine wedding September 14 and 2 weeks later we are still getting text and calls raving about the food. The reception was in a field with a catering tent- challenging dynamics to say the least. These people somehow managed to beautifully present the best tasting food I have ever had. How they prepared and presented perfect steak and lobster I will never understand. This is not “wedding food”
There are so much selections to be made when planning a wedding. Let me assure you that this one is easy. Just book them. SO GOOD
Oh forgot- very responsive and flexible right up until the last minute.

Couldn't have gone smoother. Very professional, absolutely delicious, excellent communicators, Cleanliness was out of this world--would have never known they were at our house, fed a lively crowd of 165 cocktail style and never ran out of supplies. As the title states everything was absolutely incredible! Working with the team at White Apron was super easy and we were planning from out of town. They were flexible with menu planning and helped us with any special requests. On top of that the food was exceptional! Our guests are still talking about how good everything was! I still dream about this food sometimes! Definitely check them out! Thank you White Apron team for making our day perfect! -

Thrilled that we picked White Apron for our wedding- they did a wonderful job and everyone is still raving about the food. We’re big foodies and love cooking so our expectations were high but White Apron still exceeded them. White Apron worked with us for our welcome dinner and wedding celebration the following day and executed both perfectly. Friday night some guests arrived late and the White Apron were able to bring out the extra food for them. The bartenders were excellent and enthusiastic about our collection of speciality whiskeys that we can picked for the event. Victoria was SO amazing with all the planning, I can’t count how many e-mails and calls we exchanged. She was always so prompt and helpful. White Apron was extremely accommodating to very specific dietary needs for my husband’s family and some additional guests. One guest who is celiac said they never ate so well at any formal event- they were able to make modifications and the food was held to the same standard as the rest of the guests. We appreciated their help in menu selection process, their attention to detail and the kindness of all of their staff. Truly a pleasure to work with your team and thank you for making our wedding so magical! Would definitely use White Apron again for any events.

Our wedding coordinator advised us to hire The White Apron when we said that we wanted our COVID-era backyard-wedding to be a lobster bake. She said that if anyone could make a lobster bake 'classy', and work around ever-changing state regulations and federal recommendations- The White Apron could. And boy did they. TWA prepared a few different proposals for us so that we could know what the cost would be if they were allowed to do full service, or if they were only allowed to make the food and leave and then a combo of the two- since we had no way of knowing what the rules would be come wedding time. It was nice to know that they were willing to work with us either way, and be flexible.
The food was beyond amazing (just reading the menu when we received the proposals made our mouths water) and we even got to eat it for the next few days as they packaged up all the leftovers for us! Woo. Much appreciated.
The staff were so pleasant and easygoing, and clearly enjoyed their jobs. They also followed all COVID precautions by wearing masks and even serving the buffet style dishes for us so that they were the only ones touching the serving utensils.
I would highly recommend The White Apron for your wedding. -

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
The White Apron catered my wedding on June 22 of this year and, from start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. Victoria was amazing to work with and incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. She always took the time to thoroughly address my questions almost instantaneously. A few months before the wedding, we had our tasting with Jay, and that was when we realized just how incredible the food is!!! Everything was so delicious and it was also a really fun event that we could bring my parents to and get us all excited for the big day! After trying so much amazing food, it was hard to choose our menu, but we also knew everything would be amazing - and it was! Our guests are still raving about the food as well as the incredible service. As the bride, I really appreciated that one of the servers caught us on the way to the cocktail hour with a tray of a few of each of the hors d'oeuvres so we could try them before the craziness began! Thank you White Apron! -

My daughter got married in early September 2019 at the ViewPoint Hotel in York Maine, which is an outdoor venue. The White Apron is one of their preferred vendors for catering and from everything that we had heard about them, we knew that if we chose TWA as our caterer, we would not have anything to worry about.
From day 1, Victoria and Sidney were very easy and pleasant to work with. They guided us throughout the entire process with the utmost patience and professionalism. Since I did not use a wedding planner, I was always emailing Victoria with all kinds of picky little detail questions and she would always find time to help me figure it all out. I can't say enough about how great it was to work with her.
We also contracted with them to cater breakfast at our beach cottage the morning following the wedding. Although a much smaller event, Victoria was equally attentive to all of my questions and details.
All of our guests have been raving about the food! We knew from the tasting that they do not skimp on their ingredients and the food would be delicious. It did not disappoint. We had 6 passed appetizers and a bistro station of cheeses, nuts, cured meats, etc. all of which were outstanding. Our app choices were the Lobster Canape, Sauteed Shrimp w/orange glaze, Ribeye beef, Saucisson En Croute, Grilled Chicken Skewer, & Potato Pierogi. All were delish!
Our main course consisted of a Maine Blueberry Salad, and choice of Braised Short Rib, Roasted Brined Chicken, or Roasted Mushroom Strudel. Everything was served very efficiently, on time and at the right temperature. And, needless to say, it was all delicious.
For dessert, we opted to have a small, ceremony cake and a dessert station which worked out great. My son in law is Albanian and baklava is a dessert staple in his family. Although baklava was not an option on their dessert choices, they were very willing to make it for us and did a great job with it.
My daughter's wedding day was truly magical and I am very happy that we chose The White Apron to be part of it. Do not hesitate to contract with them for your special events. I am trying to come up with another reason to hire them and work with them again someday!

Rowan Sent on 04/03/2018I cannot believe it has taken me so long to write this review, given the fact that I got married last year in September!! My husband and I were moving and we're now having a baby so things have been crazy. BUT. The White Apron was hands down the best caterer I have ever worked with and they truly made our wedding weekend a stunning event. Not only did they do all the food for our cocktail hour and seated reception, they also stunned our guests with an amazing brunch spread the following morning. Everything was exactly what we wanted, from the presentation to the service to the AMAZING taste of the food. They even made our cakes, along with a fabulous dessert spread, and while I am not even a "cake" person these cakes were out of this world. Working with Jay and Liz, and the rest of the White Apron team was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we did our tasting, I knew they were going to nail our wedding food and they certainly delivered. We even requested a few special creations from Jay as a nod to our California home, and he created the most fantastic pulled pork taco with slaw & chipotle crema. They were also incredibly accommodating to offer an alternative entree-- a fabulous beef tenderloin-- for my grandma who could not have the AMAZING short ribs, along with a delicious vegan & vegetarian friendly entree. Every single guest raved about the food from the passed appetizers, to the stunning farm table spread of meats, cheeses & dips, to the restaurant quality entrees. I am a cook & caterer myself so I have high standards for wedding food, and the White Apron blew us away. In fact, we are hoping to hire them again for my baby shower this summer. Choosing The White Apron for your wedding food will be the best decision you make in your wedding planning process. I cannot say enough good things about them!

They were fantastic to work with through out the entire wedding planning process and surpassed our expectations on wedding day! First of all, the tasting at their kitchen in Dover was phenomenal. After that we knew we were in great hands and that anything we picked was going to be delicious. Highly recommend going for a tasting, meeting in person and getting to know the wonderful staff.
We chose to do a family style dinner and Victoria was great about working with us and provided us with a range of possible menus so that we could pick and choose and stay within our budget.
Leading up to the wedding they were very professional helping us get the appropriate items rented (ovens, tables, bar set up, china) to meet our wedding needs. They also helped us with how much alcohol to purchase, which we bought ourselves but the white apron severed. We delivered it to them ahead of time and they took care of transport and refrigeration.
The day of was amazing! The food was EXCEPTIONAL. We had chicken and salmon, unbelievable spring risotto, grilled veggies, salad and assorted breads. Our guests were raving about the food as some of the best they’ve had at a wedding, even some very picky individuals :)
The staff helped the day run smoothly from beginning to end, including bartending a late night wine/beer after party. They thought of little details like making sure our wedding party got plenty of apps while we were busy taking pictures.
The White Apron was delightful to work with and did everything they could to make our wedding day a success! Highly recommend! -

My husband and I changed the menu several times leading up to the wedding. Throughout the process White Apron remained professional and accommodating. I would recommend White Apron to all!

The White Apron is so polished. From the moment we had our tasting with Jay, through the many menu alterations and questions, to the final presentation, I don't have anything but praise. The bartenders and waitstaff were so nice - even down to stepping over our dogs to pour wine. And they made sure we had food as the bride and groom. Guests were thrilled with the cocktails, appetizers and the buffet style entrees as well. 5 plus stars for quality of service, professionalism, flexibility and quality.
