The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village Reviews

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the people at the Westin in Cape Coral. My husband and I had to plan our wedding in 5 weeks (after Hurricane Ian destroyed our original wedding venue) and Tosha and Sandra went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. They made everything possible, got our room block, spoke directly to our guests as they booked, made our menu perfect, walked us through every detail and never had me stressed for a minute. They are both truly a pleasure to work with and all of our guests had the best time. The staff at the Westin were all incredible, kind and overly helpful. We were so upset about our original plan getting derailed but ending up at the Westin, with their team, I couldn't have imagined a better wedding weekend!

ALL our vendor were on time Tosha dealt with everyone the day of wedding everything was on time and on point
JOSE our hoste was fantastic the good was great every one ate all and.i had a tough crowd. Planning was super easy having Tosha she always responded to emails and calls. Overall I was pleased and wouldn't change a think but choose them sooner than I did.

The Westin was a great venue for our two-day wedding. The first day we had a beautify ceremony at their lawn overlooking the Marina and had a reception for 180 guests. On the second day, their ballroom was large enough to accommodate 400-guests and they allowed us to bring a for our baraat (traditional Pakistani entrance on horse and carriage). Tosha was hands down, the VERY BEST at coordinating EVERYTHING! She was always available to us, extremely responsive and very accommodating. Tosha reached out to every single one of our vendors prior to our wedding day and made sure that everything ran smoothly. Weddings are crazy, and ours was not different. Tosha did a great job at handling everything with such grace and experience that she would often solve issues before they became a problem. Both our weddings were AMAZING, the venue was GORGEOUS, the food was DELICIOUS, and everything was PERFECT because we had Tosha to help us with it all!

After my original wedding venue cancelled my destination event because of Hurricane Irma two weeks before my wedding, Tosha Wollney at the Westin Cape Coral was one of the first to reach out within an hour or two after I cast a VERY wide net trying to find a new location for the same dates. Tosha was wonderful to work with and made a very difficult and stressful time incredibly easy. She went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend special, especially in such a short timeframe. Everyone couldn't believe that we planned this in two weeks - I have to thank Tosha for making everything seamless. The venue is beautiful and made for wonderful photos, especially having our ceremony on the event lawn with the harbor in the background. The service was spot on and incredibly attentive. Because of the change, we were not able to come for a food tasting beforehand, but we didn't need one: the food is incredible, everything we had was delicious. If you are looking for a wedding venue on the Florida West Coast, have at the Westin Cape Coral, I can't recommend this place enough!! Thank you Tosha and the Westin team for everything you did to make our wedding weekend perfect!

I am still so in awe of how perfect our wedding day was! Tosha and all of the staff at The Westin Cape Coral went above and beyond not just for our big day but also for our rehearsal dinner. Our experience was simply amazing, everyone did a great job to make sure everything not only went smoothly but also that we were having a great time and not worrying about anything. I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about having my wedding at the Westin Cape Coral Resort. We worked with Tosha as our wedding coordinator and she was THE BEST. I was planning most of the wedding from Minnesota, and Tosha was always prompt to answer my NUMEROUS emails and questions. I knew she was great from the emails, but when I finally met her, I knew we had chosen the perfect place. She is charismatic and fun and made sure my wedding was absolutely perfect. When I finally checked in for the wedding, she had upgraded my fiancé and I to a 2 bedroom suite so "the dog could have his own room." On the day of the wedding, she made sure I had everything I needed and more! My wedding would not have been the same without Tosha's help. She made sure everything ran smoothly, my guests were happy, and that everyone had a great time! The Westin has so many great things to offer guests- food, drinks, entertainment and Tosha! I would HIGHLY recommend having a wedding there! We will certainly be going back for anniversary trips!

Westin in Cape Coral was a beautiful place to get married!! I had the perfect day. My ceremony was outside on the river and the reception was inside. The staff was AWESOME! They were fast bringing out the food, very professional, and did a wonderful job making us feel great on our special day. Our hotel room was AMAZING too! I would recommend the Westin in Cape Coral to ANYONE that asks!

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village and my coordinator Tosha Wollney. Don't let the fact that the Westin is in Cape Coral deter you from having your wedding here.

The grounds and the hotel itself are beautiful. I wanted a tropical/water setting for my wedding, but had no desire to trudge through the sand in my wedding dress. The ceremony took place in the outdoor gazebo area overlooking the water, but not in the sand:)

The reception took place in the ballroom. I had 120 guests and thought the size of the room was perfect. The food was great and I even had a few guests go out of their way to tell me it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The bananas foster station was to die for.

We had a 2bd suite that we also hosted the rehearsal dinner in. The pool and bar area is great. One of the main reasons that I chose the Westin over Miromar Lakes was I didn't want to have my dream wedding and then have my out of town guests stay at The Holiday Inn Express.

I found all of the staff to be friendly and professional. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Tosha Wollney. I knew the first time I met her she was on her A game. She is a true professional and a great asset to the Westin. She always responded promptly to any questions I had...even if she had the day off. She is laid back, yet cool as a cucumber. She honored every promise she made wether it was written in the contract or not.

Working with Tosha Wollney for our Feb. 14th, 2015 wedding was an exceptional experience! She went above and beyond our expectations and made the wedding/reception planning seamless!! The Westin is a beautiful loction for both the ceremony and reception with excellent staff, food, and beverage! Tosha and The Westin get 5's across the board!!

I was very pleased with all of the services at the Westin. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating to any and all of my needs. The lawn was beautiful for my wedding and the Tarpon Terrace was elegant and everything I had ever wanted for my reception. I worked with Tosha and I have nothing but positive things to say about her. She was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I was an out of town bride, and she helped with recommendations with anything from where to get my nails done, florists, and even the photographer. There were a lot of changes that I wanted to make and I had very high expectations on what I wanted my wedding to be. Tosha made sure that my wedding day was everything I wanted and more. She truly made my wedding go off without a problem!

Tosha Wollney the event coordinator at the Westin is amazing she is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable in what she does. Any issue or concern we had Tosha made them disappear. My Husband and I just returned from our honeymoon and wanted to write a review for Tosha and the Westin right away! We had a hard time searching for a venue for our wedding and finally came across The Westin and fell in love. Tosha, the event planner, helped us with every detail of our wedding, even details that had nothing to do with the venue! She was available any time we needed her and answered all of my many (and I mean many) emails and phone calls. On the night of the rehearsal dinner she could tell I was stressed and had a drink in my hand right away. On the day of the wedding she made sure we were treated like VIPs and had everything under control. She even came up with a creative way to fit all of our guests that we invited (and a few that showed up last minute.) We could not have asked for a more stunning location to get married and a more supportive wedding planner! Thank you!

This venue is absolutely gorgeous.... From the rooms, to the views, to the service. Tosha was our wedding coordinator and she was phenomenal! She helped fix my flowers (they were all wrong), she set everything up, she took a lot of the pressure off of my shoulder so that way I can enjoy my day.... And she kept us informed with open bar tab so that way we were always in the know. The food was delicious too! We asked for an ice cream bar and it was perfect. She worked with our budget and made it a beautiful day

The Westin Cape Coral is AMAZING! Tosha is great to work with and answers email and phone calls very quickly. The venue is gorgeous and the food was amazing! Words cannot describe how happy I was with my wedding here!!! And everything was a really great price! THANK YOU!!!

Absolutely LOVED the location of my wedding and reception. Very beautiful background for pictures and Tosha was wonderful to work with! Will definitely recommend this location for anyone who wants a beautiful outdoor wedding!

My daughters wedding took place at the resort, words can not express how expectations were exceeded. When you are planning a wedding for 1 1/2 years with short visits home from the bride it can be quite nerve racking to say the least. In the beginning I could not imagine how this would all come together...Tosha (catering manager) was always so calm, cool and casual, she assured us everything would be fine. Well the last 2 months she was simply AMAZING!!!! She responded to every e-mail and question in a moments notice, I honestly can say she removed the word stress from our vocabulary. From the bell staff to the head honcho and everyone in between nothing was ever too much to ask for...always a smile always a helping hand...we had ALOT of out of town guests and every single one raved of this facility and its staff...my husband and I frequent the facility and we say it's like going to "Cheers"...still always remembered and greeted with a hug and smile, what more can a bride, groom and family ask for???

The Resort at Marina Village was a fabulous experience from the day we chose the venue 2 years before the wedding. Tosha and her team at the resort are the best! We had many events for the wedding at the resort from the bridal shower to the rehearsal dinner and the wedding itself and everything was fabulous! My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding and a great deal of that we owe to the resort and the fabulous staff. They are prompt and always there when you need something. We have gotten compliments from many of the guests stating they have never had such amazing service. Thank you to everyone at the resort for making our wedding experience as memorable as it was.
