A Truly Boutique Experience

I can’t express enough how instrumental the ladies at Liz Clinton were to the success of my wedding. They understood the assignment from the very beginning. I asked for dress options that were timeless, classic elegance, and with satin details, and literally the first dress they brought out had it all. I tried on tons of options, but the first dress was it for me. The same can be said for the veil. They just knew exactly what I was looking for from me just describing the wedding style I was going for. To top it off, I got married abroad and was of course nervous about traveling with my dress, but the owner assured me it would be packaged and pressed in a way that allowed for the dress to travel on the plane with me. I’m so glad I went to Liz Clinton for my wedding dress.

What a wonderful Bridal Shop and experience!

The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton is an amazing bridal shop and I would recommend it to anyone looking for their wedding gown. I went here because my sister went here for her gown about 8 years ago and had such an amazing experience. I can happily say that I did as well! Our first visit, I provided several pictures of what I thought I was looking for and was very happy that a few others were mixed into the bunch pulled for me to try because I ended up falling in love with a gown that looked nothing like what I had expected. We were treated so well, the entire staff was so professional and accommodating. It was very easy to make appointments and have fittings done. We also picked out our bridesmaid dresses here and they were VERY helpful. My sister had to call and request a larger size, as she got pregnant and would be 8 months along by the time of the wedding! Additionally, I needed to change our bridesmaid dress style to accommodate a bridesmaid who'd recently had a surgery and wanted to ensure that scars would be covered. It was a non-issue and was taken care of with ease. Finally, the price of my gown was SO much better than I had anticipated. I've heard of many shops that jack the price up and I was so pleased to find that this gown came in way under budget and that almost ALL of the gowns in the shop were in fact below the budget I had set. All in all, I can't say enough great things about this shop and would recommend it to anyone!

Super helpful team!

I ordered my dress and veil here pre-Covid and had no trouble with the timeline despite the supply chain issues the pandemic later caused. The staff was super helpful and made sure I felt comfortable despite all the craziness of last year. Would definitely recommend!

Wedding Store

The Wedding Store went above and beyond a girl could ask for. Two years ago I bought my dress, prior to COVID-19 my dress fit. As we had to postpone I was no longer able to fit in my dress 6 months prior to our rescheduled wedding date. The staff at the Wedding Store assured me not to worry as we will make things work. With some alterations and positive reinforcement the Wedding Store worked hard and was very supportive as they were able to make the dress fit my body. The staff at the Wedding Store created a memorial experience and a dress that I was able to feel confident in.

Kate was the perfect person to help me find my dream dress!

The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton was my first stop on the day I was trying on wedding dresses. I had set a budget and thought I knew exactly what I wanted. I tried it on and turns out that style is not for my body type (I would say athletic). Kate had recommended another style which my sisters had agreed would look good on me (fit and flare). After trying a few on and loving the fit but none were quite "the one" Kate said she had something she thought would be perfect but was slightly out of my budget (about $300 out of my budget). She wanted to makes sure that was okay with me prior to pulling it and having me fall in love with a dress and it be out of my budget (super thoughtful of her). I did absolutely love the dress she pulled, but had two more stops that day and did want to see if I could find something within my budget. I went to the next two stores, both lovely stores but I did not have a connection with the associate as well as I did with Kate at The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton. The dresses were all lovely but my family and I compared everything to the dress at The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton. I did find the dress online at a store in PA for about $100 cheaper and called and asked The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton if they could match the price. They actually did better! They were having a trunk show for the designer and I was able to get it at the trunk show price! At the time I bought my dress I was not ready to buy a veil as I was unsure I even wanted to wear one. Once I decided I did want one I went back to The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton and again they were able to help me out budget wise. They offered me the option to purchase the in store veil at a 15% discount. Altogether I could not be more pleased with The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton, not only was Kate amazing and helped me find the perfect dress for our wedding day, but they were able to help me fit everything into my budget and I could not be more grateful for everything they did for me!

Short and Sweet!

I called around looking for a specific dress by Justin Alexander - the wedding store was the first to tell me no problem they already have the sample ordered and they’ll call me when it comes in. Dress came in early, I went in tried it on and said yes! They were so nice and made me feel really pretty and were so helpful when my mom was trying to pick out accessories to tie the look together. Perfect day!

Amazing experience

The Wedding Store was absolutely wonderful during the entire dress process! I had a vision in my mind when thinking about the type of wedding dress I pictured myself in and I found EXACTLY what I wanted and more. I looked at 3 other stores prior to coming to the Wedding Store and none of them had the unique dress styles that they did as well as the exceptional service and professionalism. I not only found the wedding dress of my dreams but I also found my veil, gorgeous dresses for my bridesmaids (that none of the other stores had!) and my mom found her mother of the bride dress here! It was overall an amazing experience from beginning to end and I can't say enough good things about this store. I'd especially like to acknowledge Katie and Judy for helping me, my bridesmaids and my mom find our dresses. Another person that deserves to be recognized is Deborah, who altered my dress. She is the sweetest, most patient person and we connected immediately. Not only was she so very kind to me but she did an absolutely PERFECT job at altering my dress. There is not one bad thing I can say about this store! I'd recommend anyone to go here, not only for wedding dresses but for any sort of gown for a special occasion. I can guarantee you'll find it here!

Excellent Experience

I made a last minute appointment at the The Wedding Store, as I knew I would be in town that weekend ( I am from Philly, so it would typically be a hike for me). My sister bought her dress here and had a wonderful experience, so It was on my list of must tries. After 2 unsuccessful Bridal Shop trips, I knew I had found the place when I walked into the Wedding Store. Everyone was so friendly and my bridal consultant was excellent. I showed her a few pictures of dresses that I loved and she pulled a couple of dresses right away that were exactly what I was looking for and in my budget. I found my dress after about 30 minutes. Prices are great, staff are friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this shop!

A wonderful dress shopping experience!

I made an appointment at Liz Clinton's on the recommendation of a family friend. We went on a weekday evening and had a dedicated consultant to help. She listened to what I was looking for, had me try on a variety of styles, and ultimately pulled the perfect dress! She was never pushy and was very attentive to my desires.

My gown recently arrived and I am so pleased with it! I also purchased my veil from them, and my mom purchased her Mother of the Bride dress there as well.

Although we were notified before purchasing the dress that they would no longer be doing alterations, I do wish they still had an in-house seamstress.

Amazing Experience

I have to say, looking for a wedding dress was the part of planning that I was least excited about. I am a plus size girl, so putting on dresses that are way to small to try and find something I liked enough to order just didn't sound like a good time to me, but The Wedding Store completely shattered all of my expectations.
My future MIL recommended I visit The Wedding Store during an Allure Curve Trunk Show, and I begrudgingly made my appointment. Every person I interacted with that day was absolutely wonderful. I felt loved, supported, and most shockingly, beautiful. We tried on several different dresses and styles, and when I found the one I was allowed to put it on a second time and call my grandfather for his approval (I just couldn't get a dress without his approval).
Not once did I feel judged for being a bigger girl. Not once did I feel judged for my budget ($3000). Not once did I feel rushed, hurried, or unimportant. My mom is looking forward to returning to The Wedding Store to look for her mother of the bride dress when my gown comes in, and I cannot wait to see my gown again when it's finished.
I love that this is a small town store - they truly treat everyone with love and dignity which I highly respect. Any future formal wear needs that I have, I will visit The Wedding Store first!

They ordered my dress to be included in their trunk show inventory - above and beyond customer service!

The Wedding Store was the first bridal shop I went to for trying on wedding dresses, which I'm so glad I did. Erin was incredibly helpful - to the point where she wasn't pushing me to buy a gown that day. Even though I came in with a few styles in mind, she insisted on putting me in almost one of every dress type to make sure I was able see what I liked and didn't like from the beginning. We did eventually narrow it down, but, again, she didn't pull the sales move to make me buy a gown that I may or may not have liked and even told me to go to a few other shops to try on more options before making a decision.
Well I did, I went to one other shop and I found my dress. However, I appreciated her service so much, I wanted to buy my dress from The Wedding Store (and added bonus, the shop is only 20 minutes from my house).
They didn't have my dress in stock, but I saw that they had a trunk show for the designer of my dress coming up in a month or so and they suggested I call back to see if my dress would be included in the inventory for the trunk show. I called back almost once a week leading up to the show to make sure they could ensure my dress was in their inventory - and they did it, they got my dress. I scheduled my appointment during the designer trunk show and got my dress with the trunk show discount.
And their service for the fitting process exceeded my expectations. Deborah, the seamstress, was sweet and very detailed oriented. My dress needed several alterations because of the complexity of the lace and bustle - the fitting process was long, but necessary and I'm so glad they took the time to get it right because my dress was perfect.
Overall, I'm so so happy and grateful with my experience at the Wedding Store.

I found my bridesmaids dresses here. We made an appointment and went and had a wonderful experience trying the dresses on. Only a couple could make it that day, as there were two of them who were living out of state. Once we decided on the dresses, it was so easy for them to call and give their measurements. The dresses arrived on time, and we picked them up without problem! Great place for bridesmaids dresses!

If you're looking for the *perfect* wedding dress with a buying experience to match, your search is complete. Buying my dress at The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton was such a wonderful experience. They pulled dresses for me in every style I thought I might like, and worked completely inside my budget. Every single one of the women who work there are sweet hearts, who were so encouraging and helpful when deciding on a dress. Every time I went for a fitting, I had a crowd around me with oooo's and ahhh's (and a posse of girls who were obsessed with my sparkly boots). They really know how to make a girl feel special!! The selection of dresses at The Wedding Store far surpasses any other store around. Pair that with their top notch staff... it was a great experience. We also purchased bridesmaid's dresses from The Wedding Store, and my girls were all offered a nice discount since I had purchased my dress there. I would highly recommend The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton to any and all brides. You will not regret your decision!

My wedding would have not been complete without the perfect dress and I wouldn't have ever had one without Judy and her amazing team! I can't say enough good things about my experience at the wedding store. I got married on June 10, 2017 and not to sound cocky but I looked stunning! My dress fit me perfectly, and I felt beautiful in it. I picked out my dress at the wedding store and had all the alterations done there. They were so accommodating to me and made the entire process a lot of fun. The seamstress was amazing and so friendly. I felt bad for asking her to do a few changes to the dress and every time I did she looked at me, smiled, and said this was my wedding day and I was going to feel beautiful in it no matter what it took. I loved their service so much I got all my bridesmaid dresses there as well as the mother of the bride dress. We all looked picture perfect, it was a great experience!!!

Owner and staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to detail. They guided me, without being overbearing, but were honest, which i greatly appreciated. I really cannot say enough good things about Judy, Erin & the entire staff at the Wedding Store! My sister bought her dress here first and they did such a phenomenal job that I only wanted to shop here for my dress! I had a modest budget, but they were so accommodating. I found a dress that I loved and I even came in under my original budget! My bridesmaids ordered their dresses from here too. In fact, I went to pick them up and got stuck in a ton of traffic. It was rainy and roads were closed, so I didn't end up arriving at the store until they were closing. I called Erin and she was so kind and patient. They stayed open so I wouldn't have to make the trip again. Every part of my experience was wonderful and I cannot recommend them enough!

I went wedding gown shopping at multiple shops throughout the tri-state area, including kleinfeld. The wedding store at Liz Clinton was by far the best. The shop is clean, and has a huge variety of wedding gowns as well as mother of the bride, bridesmaids, flower girl, and shoes. The staff is so kind and accommodating that I would recommend them to anyone looking for a gown!

I cannot say enough about Judy and her staff at The Wedding Store. She did so much behind the scenes to be sure that my wedding dress was absolutely perfect. We shopped during a trunk sale and wound up getting a percentage off my dress even though it wasn't from the new line on display at the trunk sale. I had some medical issues that caused my dress to not fit right when it came in, and Judy worked some serious magic to make sure I could still have the perfect dress on my wedding day. I drove over 90 minutes each way for every fitting and it was worth every minute to work with such professional, caring people who truly seemed invested in the outcome and my day being perfect. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I had a wonderful experience here! I chose my dress and also had the alterations done with Jan. She was very patient and accommodating, often talking through several options with me about the length, the fit, etc. I think it's wonderful (and very fair) that the store offers a flat rate for all alterations. Susan, one of the sales associates, was also incredibly helpful in offering suggestions and support, especially when I began to feel overwhelmed by all of the options at one of my visits. The store itself is beautiful! You will feel like you are in a scene from the movie "Father of the Bride." The staff is professional, and I never doubted for a second that my dress would look spectacular! They also feature great accessories shows, which is when I purchased my veil and earrings at a discounted price. THANK YOU!

The Wedding Store had a great selection of dress designers. They also have a lot of trunk shows on site (designers will send their new lines to showcase, and you often receive a discount if you order a dress at a trunk show). The team was always helpful and supportive. I did my dress alterations at the store, and they did a great job. You need a good seamstress for a wedding dress since the designer dresses are one of a kind. The seamstress team were pro's, and my dress came out perfect for my wedding day.

Judy and her staff are nothing short of amazing! After purchasing my dress in Boston, I needed a seamstress close to home whom I could trust. From the moment we walked into the store and explained our situation, Judy took us under her wing and assured us that we would be treated in the same way as a bride who bought her dress at Liz Clinton. I had the typical number of dress fittings and always felt welcome. Debra, my seamstress, did a beautiful job fitting the dress to my body. She was also able to lift a piece of lace off the train of my mother's wedding dress (you can't even tell she did anything to it!) and sewed it on the bottom of my veil. We were so pleased with her care and attention and highly recommend her services to future brides and bridesmaids. Thank you, Judy, for providing us with such a wonderful experience!

I got my dress here and it was absolutely gorgeous. This was the only shop I went to and I actually found about 6 dresses I would have been happy with. I'm not sure what a typical dress costs, mine was $1500. Their selection seemed to range in price from about $500 - $2,000. I also got my veil there. I found one I absolutely loved and they had it hand made for me and it was about $500. It was expensive, at least to me, but they did absolutely beautiful work, and their seamstress was top-notch. Very kind and patient with me (it was my first and hopefully last time buying a wedding dress) and she gave her opinion without being pushy. They also accommodated my busy schedule for fittings and were very helpful when I was first trying to select a dress.

I absolutely loved it here! The girls at the store are amazing and showed me dressed all within my budget. They worked with me until I found the one! I also got my bridesmaids dressed and MOB dress here and they were perfect. The woman were fun to work with and they were very helpful. I had been to several boutiques before going to the wedding store! None of them compare! I explained what I was looking for to Deb and she pulled out beautiful dress after beautiful dress. I loved it there! I got my wedding dress this June for my October 2016 wedding. Everyone there was so sweet and helpful. The woman we worked with kept pulling out more and more gowns for me to try on - we had so much fun! Also, they really stuck within our budget and didn't try make us go over by any means. Will be getting the bridesmaids dresses and MOB dress from there as well!

My sister-in-law got her wedding dress here, so it was the first (and only) place I looked. All the staff are attentive and friendly and made me feel so reassured in picking out dresses. I am sort of a tomboy, so getting a dress was something that I was nervous about leading up to my appointment - I thought I would hate everything!! The staff were able to pick a beautiful variety of dresses during my appointment and after 5-6 dresses I had found the perfect dress. The staff were patient and knowledgable and I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking to find a great wedding dress.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the great customer service the ladies provided to my whole bridal party. I had a lower budget than probably most brides but they found me a gorgeous dress. All of my bridesmaids purchased their gowns there as well as the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. The staff was knowledgable, polite, courteous, and a pleasure to interact with. I would definitely recommend them to future brides or to those who have a special event to go to. Great selection, fair pricing.

I came across The Wedding Store when I was trying to track down a discontinued wedding gown that I had fallen in love with. I spoke to a consultant over the phone and gave her the make and model of the dress. Although she didn't have the exact dress, she told me she had ones very similar and encouraged me to come in, which I did. The consultant I met with was extremely patient. Every dress I put on was absolutely gorgeous, it just wasn't the dress that I had fallen in love with (which was too small for me). She encouraged me to go back and buy the dress I had fallen in love with. She spent time showing my mother and I how a seamstress can find extra fabric in the dress to let it out. She knew I wasn't going to buy my bridal gown with her but spent so much time with me, encouraging me to go back for my dress!

Her patience and kindness prompted us to look at their selection of bridesmaid and mother of the groom dresses. We couldn't believe the selection that they had! Hundreds and hundreds of dresses that could be ordered in any color! We came back (drove over 20 miles) on two separate occasions. Once for my mother to find her dress and another for me and my Maid of Honor to pick out dresses for the bridesmaids. We ended up with the most gorgeous dresses. The Wedding Store even offered to put a customized Navy Blue bow on the back of the dresses to match the guy's Navy Suits. Aside from the great selection and service, their prices were extremely competitive.

The Wedding Store was my first dress store I visited to look for a wedding dress since it is next to my home town. I had brought in pictures of dresses from magazines so that the lady could pull similar dresses. My original vision was a lace dress, however when I had tried on about five I didn't like how they looked on my body. They were willing to pull different style dresses for me to try on to see what I would like since I wasn't feeling lace dresses anymore. They wrote down three dresses I liked and I left there with a dress in mind. You are also able to take pics of you in dresses which is great! I live very close to NYC and I went to many dress shops and didn't quite find the dress I was looking for in my price range. I kept thinking about the dress from the Wedding Store. I would visit other dress stores that carried Allure hoping I could try on "the one" again, but I couldn't find it. I went back to the Wedding Store and tried on the dresses that were on my list and ended up getting the Allure dress that I couldn't stop thinking about. I bought it at their trunk show and was able to use the discount I received toward extra length on my dress since I'm tall. The ladies were so accommodating and helpful. They never pushed you or tried to sell you on a particular dress and they stayed within your budget. I also purchased my veil there during their annual accessories sale. They have a lot of different styles of veils and an extensive selection of bridesmaid dresses. They only have two fitting rooms so if you decide to have your bridesmaids try on dresses I would recommend going very early on Saturday morning or during one of their evening times. My bridesmaids ordered their dresses from the Wedding Store and received a discount since I had ordered my wedding gown from them. They also have a large selection of mob/mog dresses. I also had my alterations done at the Wedding Store which were easy and with no complaints. Great store!

This place is so adorable inside. They seem to have rooms and rooms of dresses. The wedding dress selection is quite amazing. This review includes my experience trying on size 12/14 gowns but I saw women of all sizes and styles wearing gorgeous gowns. But what sets this place apart from the rest is truly the staff!

I'm a size 12/14 and struggled finding shops that had dresses I could try on. Liz Clinton had a huge selection of dresses that I could actually try on and that were beautiful. The entire experience was amazing because of the selection but more importantly because of the staff. This store really makes you feel like a bride and not another girl trying on dresses. They really listen to how you are feeling or your vision of the perfect dress and then work off of what you want. After hearing what you like/don't like about each dress, they get closer and closer to what you want until you find the perfect dress!

All of their dresses are beautiful and they have such a wide variety. But it really is the people that work there that make the experience. They go above and beyond. With all the stress and craziness of planning a wedding, it was awesome to know that they were handling my dress! They were on top of everything and the alterations came out beautifully. We also got our bridesmaid dresses there because they offered a discount. They were thoughtful and patient through the process of 3 bridesmaids all getting different dresses. They were absolutely more than accommodating. I felt like I could relax knowing they were in charge of dressing everybody! And of course, my dress was amazing!

The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton is amazing!!! I had tried on a few dresses at another store and I just didn't like the service or the selection of dresses they had and one of my bridesmaids suggested this store. When I went, I immediately felt like family. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I had a hard time deciding between 3 dresses and the women there were all so honest and really helped me zero in on the perfect dress for me. My bridesmaids and MOB dresses were also purchased here and even when I second guessed myself regarding the color scheme, they were right there to calm my fears and answer every crazy question that I had. I am beyond grateful to all of the women who work there for making me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day because without their guidance and expertise, I am not sure I would have been as stunning as I was. I pass by The Wedding Store every day on my way to work. I was constantly peeking in the window to see the dresses and once I was engaged, I was thrilled to have a reason to go inside. I had purchased a bridesmaids dress there for a friends wedding a few years ago, but I was dying to look at the bridal gowns.

Erin and I had a conversation about what I wanted and didn't want and she pulled dresses based on that. She even had me try on a dress that was what I didn't want just to make sure because sometimes what you don't want turns into what you do. I loved working with her. I found my dress that day and I was so relieved. The alterations process was completely seamless (see what I did there?) and I am a completely satisfied customer. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

The Wedding Store is truly a family affair. Erin helped me find my wedding dress and her mom, Judy expertly picked out both my mother and mother in law's dresses. Both of the dresses neither one of them would've picked out on their own, but they were PERFECTION. Judy really does have an eye for knowing what looks good and they looked stunning. Jan is a DREAM to work with. The dress that ended up being my AMAAAAAAZING wedding dress was not the dress I originally picked. But if it wasn't for Jan and her calming presence, I might've been a complete mess. But she along with Erin were the dream team. They were able to get my dress fit and done within the time crunch we had.. And THANK GOODNESS, because it really was stunning. It was exactly what I was looking for and had envisioned in my head. I really appreciated all the time they spent with me. I genuinely felt that they cared and cannot thank them enough for that. I can not say enough good things about The Wedding Store and their staff. the selection is great, prices are reasonable(I found a dress there that would have cost me over $300 more at another local store) and customer service was off the charts. The were friendly, knowledgeable, made great suggestions and truely cared about your event. We bought my the brides dress, the bridesmaids dress and both the mother and step mother of the bride dresses there. After several months of fittings with 5 of the 7 brides maids myself and the bride I have to say I am going to miss seeing them every few weeks.

I spent a lot of time at The Wedding Store the months leading up to my wedding day! Every time I was at The Wedding Store, the staff was wonderful. They were attentive, helpful, and down to earth. I had the absolute BEST experience here! I worked with Jill when I had my appointment. I told her very little about what I was looking for...because, honestly, I had no idea! From the first day I walked into The Wedding Store for bridesmaid shopping, I knew this was a great store and wanted to look there for my gown. The staff is so friendly and helpful and really made you feel like part of their family. One month after that, I made an appointment to look for my dress. They helped me try on the type of style I said I had liked, but also had me try on all different types, just to make sure.

Being that I had a budget I wanted to stick to, they helped me make sure I only tried on dresses within that budget, and helped me find a beautiful gown for way less than I expected! And when I told them I had a veil from my sister in law that I was using as my something borrowed, they did not push me to buy one from them - in fact they were said how great it was to not have to spend the extra money. Same went for a belt - I did not like the one that came w/ my dress and my mom had found online for very cheap - the staff did not push for me to look for one at their store and they were glad I was able to find one that looked great on the dress for like $25 online! My alterations came out great. They sewed my belt onto the dress beautifully and my bustle was awesome! I could not have been happier with both my gown and the girls' bridesmaid dresses.

Ordering both my wedding gown and the bridesmaid dresses from The Wedding Store was a breeze! They are all so easy to work with and so friendly. I loved every time I walked into the store, they immediately recognized me.. it really was like being treated like you were part of their family, and not just another bride. With every visit/fitting they spent time with you, wanted to catch up, hear all about what was going on, etc. I never felt rushed or that they had other things to do. Even when I was the last appointment of the night! Thank you to The Wedding Store for helping me find THE dress & for making my whole bridesmaid dress/wedding gown process so easy and stress-free!!

Like many other brides who have posted reviews, I have nothing negative to say about the folks at The Wedding Store. I went to two other dress stores in the area, and really did not enjoy myself (or find any dresses). Liz & Co were a whole different story. It's a family owned and operated business and you can tell the staff all love each other and love weddings. At the same time, they aren't over the top; I ended up choosing one of their more expensive gowns, but I never felt pushed to spend more.

When I got there, Liz asked what I was looking for, and when I said "not poofy" she understood immediately and brought me dress after gorgeous dress to try on in exactly the style I was looking for. Again, she wasn't pushy AT ALL, but down to earth and fun to talk to, as were the other staff we encountered throughout the process. My mom also bought her MOB dress from them, and there were zero hiccups with fittings, tailoring, or pickup for either of us.

On a separate note, my maid of honor went to them after getting engaged, looking for a bargain. They brought out their sale rack (again, never trying to go above her price point) and she found and bought her dress the same day. All in all, it's a great operation and I highly recommend it!

My experience finding a dress was absolutely amazing at The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton. Everything from trying on the dresses, saying YES to the dress, my fittings, my alterations, my bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dresses, mom's dress, accessories, etc. was PERFECT. I had a blast working with everyone at the store and they made me feel beautiful. During each appointment, I never felt rushed or overwhelmed and they catered to all of my needs. I had the best service at The Wedding Store at Liz Clinton. I went to one other wedding dress store prior and had the worst experience ever. Coming here was a breath of fresh air. I purchased both my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses here. They have so many styles to choose from and understand what your vision is for your wedding day. Erin was able to really listen to what I wanted and knew exactly what would work with my body. She couldn't have pulled a more perfect dress for me. The alteration staff there did a fantastic job, too; you couldn't even tell my dress was altered. My bridesmaid dresses were gorgeous, as well. I was a very happy bride! I live in the Morristown area and went to about 8-9 different bridal stores all across Morris, Essex, Hunterdon and Warren counties when trying to find my wedding dress. One of the nicest experiences I had was at The Wedding Store in Andover so I’m glad I made the trip out there. The store has beautiful dresses at reasonable prices which was important to me since I didn’t want to spend $2000+ on a dress I was only going to wear for one day. The quality of the dresses for the price was so much better than other stores I visited. The staff is so accommodating and friendly and make you feel like a part of their family (and not just another customer). I went there twice and the second time there were more dresses for me to try on. It was nice getting to know them and joking around during each of my visits. Each time the same people were around to offer their opinions. They were patient with my indecisiveness and never rushed me through the appointments or pressured me to make a decision. In the end, I chose the dress I tried on during my initial visit. I also bought my veil and had my alterations done there and my dress fit perfectly in the end. The only “negative” I could mention was that they pull dresses for you based on your wish list and so you didn’t have the opportunity to look through their racks and pick out dresses you wanted to try. This was probably a good thing for me because the more choices I had, the harder my decision would have been! They did however pull some dresses for me that were different from the usual dresses I had been trying on. The family has been in business for a long time so they know what they are doing and you are in good hands with these ladies!

The Wedding Store has everything you could need for your wedding day as well as bridesmaid and mother of the bride attire. My mom ended up getting her dress there as well and was given a discount which was nice. I highly recommend this store!

The wedding store is a one stop shop for any bride looking for quality and variety. They were able to dress me as the bride, my bridesmaids, flower girls, and mother of the bride! The Wedding Store at Liz Clintons was the only place I planned to buy my wedding dress from when the time came. My sister had gotten married a few years earlier and our Mom got her MOB dress from The Wedding Store. What I instantly liked about them was that we had gone in with ideas of what dresses would be best for our Mom. They listened and provided their input; they told us that they would show us the type of dress style we had in mind but also would show what they suggested, based on Mom's frame & coloring. They were very professional and nice as we tried one of our picks versus one of their picks. They went through each dress and pointed out why one of their picks complimented Mom over what we had chosen. In the end, it was an easy choice to go with their suggestion since their pick looked dynamite on Mom. Between that and the follow up fittings, I knew this place was quality through and through - from the dress offerings to service. When we went back for my wedding dress, I was planning a short engagement. I let them know my time frame and they only showed me designers they knew they could get in time for fittings & the wedding date. If you tell them your price point, they won't show you something you can fall in love with but not afford. I also love the fact The Wedding Store is a multi-generational family-run store. They love what they do and it shows.

Let me start by saying that I am one of the most indecisive people. When I came to Liz Clinton wedding store, I really just went to look to see what I liked and didn’t like. Instead, I fell in love with two dresses.

After trying on both dresses about six times each, the seamstress came out and met with me. I loved the first dress because of the way it looked and fit my body, but it was too plain. The second dress, I loved the detail. It was a lace overlay with light beading and embroidery (GORGEOUS), but I didn’t like the shape. The seamstress said for me to buy the one with the detailing that I liked and when I came back for my fitting she had taken that dress and turned it into the shape of the first dress that I loved! She really gave me the best of both worlds and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I really loved my dress and the team of people working there made my dress shopping experience all the better!

I am so happy that this store was recommended to me! When I first started out looking for a dress, I hadn't thought to look at the wedding store. Even though it was local, I thought I wanted that 'big wedding dress salon experience.' Well, a friend recommended to me that I look at the wedding store since that's where she got her dress at a very reasonable price - so I decided to check it out. All I can say is WOW!! I was totally blown away by the large selection of gowns they have AND their wonderful service. I never felt rushed, pressured to pick a gown, or unattended. They spent as much time with me and pulled as many dresses as I wanted. When my attendant pulled my wedding dress and brought it in for me to look at along with several others, it wasn't even a style I would've chose for myself...but the moment I saw it I was in LOVE! (Also, completely not like me at all...I hate wearing dresses!) After that point, the whole experience was a breeze. Scheduling fittings and alterations with them was so simple and they are so helpful I didn't stress about it at all. My dress was beautiful, and I was a beautiful bride thanks to them. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get a gorgeous wedding dress at an affordable price!

I really cannot say enough about the Wedding Store by Liz Clinton, if you are wedding dress shopping in NJ, you must go there. They are true professionals and will help you find the perfect dress for your body type. I am very large chested and I went to a total of 9 stores for my dress. I knew I was limited because of my chest size, and always was reminded while shopping. I had a few bad experiences and would go home not feeling special at all. When I went to the Wedding Store, they sized me up perfectly and didn't once make me feel as if I had limited amount of choices. They made me feel like a beautiful bride and had such a wonderful selection of dresses. The first two they put on me fit my style perfectly! The seamstress did an amazing job and fitted me perfectly into a strapless dress- I still can't believe I wasn't pulling it up all night- it just fit me perfectly. The seamstress added velcro to hold the dress to my bra, she created a beautiful bustle and also recommended an extremely elegant jacket for the ceremony which I had to get. I had so much fun changing up my look for the reception by removing my jacket and adding a blingy belt and jewelry. It was such a fun shopping experience too. We bought all of our bridesmaids dresses there (the bridesmaids loved their dresses too), my mom's dress (she looked regal!), and my two aunt's dresses. Great pricing for all price points. You must go there!

I went here because my SIL recommended. I had an idea of what I wanted so they had me try on several styles in that area, but also encouraged me to try other styles, just to be sure. After about 15 or so, they encouraged me to go home and think, which is a lovely, no pressure approach! A few weeks later we came back to try on my top 3 and made my selection! The dress took about 7 months to come in. I had a few rounds of alterations and it's very clear they want everything to be perfect!!

I am a plus sized woman and was dreading finding my wedding dress. We go engaged the first weekend of April 2011 and we went and looked at dressed at this store the next weekend. My husband was going out of town and I figured that I would spend some time with my mom and my sister. I could not believe the number of dresses that they had for me to try on. I tried on at least 10 and within that 10 I found 3 that I loved. I picked 1 and put the down payment on it that day. It does take a while for the dress to come in so I would suggest going as early as possible. Once the dress came in I went in and tried it on and then made my appointment for my first fitting about 2 months before the wedding. The women in this store know what they are doing. It is a family fun business and they just know when something is going to look right on a person. We actually got dresses for my mom, aunt, step-mom and mother-in-law.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at the Wedding Store. I knew going in that I was on the lower end of the budget for most wedding dress boutiques in New Jersey (my budget was $1000), but at no point did the staff act like I was a "budget bride" or make me feel bad (I've heard from friends' experiences at other stores that this often can happen). They had a plethora of options in the $1000 or lower range (although they have lots of options higher than that, too). When I decided on "the dress", the sales woman told me that I should come back in a few weeks to buy it, because they would be having a trunk sale for that designer (Watters). I did that, and ended up spending only $750 on my dress, which was gorgeous and looked much more expensive, in my opinion. I got my alterations done at the Wedding Store, too, and that was also a great experience. I believe the seamstress' name is Jan, and she was wonderful- really great at explaining things (how the bustle worked, different options for length, etc) and was funny, sweet and really down to earth. She took a lot of time during my appointments to talk through the different options, which was really helpful for me. I have highly recommended the Wedding Store to all my engaged friends- it was nothing but a great experience for me.

I had a great experience with The Wedding Store by Liz Clinton. I had tried on dresses at other stores previously so came to the Wedding Store with an idea of what type of dress I thought I wanted. However, they had me try on one of every shape dress to make sure I had the correct style in mind and I ended up with something totally different that I had originally thought I wanted. The store carries a wide variety of bridal gowns, as well as bridesmaids, mother of the bride, christening dresses, shoes, etc. The mother and daughter who own the store are very knowledgeable, never pushy, and are very professional. There was a trunk sale coming up for the designer of the dress I picked so they told me to wait to order it in order to the get discount in a couple of weeks. They also do a jewelry/accessory trunk show each year for their brides where they bring in different jewelry vendors and offer discounts. Alterations are done on site and they were very accommodating in scheduling appointments (they're open late during the week). The alterations can be a bit pricey, but the seamstresses definitely know what they're doing and will make your dress fit perfectly! Overall, would highly recommend to other brides - especially for those who want a one stop shop!

Everyone at The Wedding Store is so nice and helpful, and really listen to what you want. I found my dress there on my first visit, and went back one more time just to be sure. The dress came within the time frame they gave me, and everyone I worked with for alterations was great. There were some issues with my first alteration, and things needed to be redone, but they made sure that everything got done in plenty of time.

I also purchased my bridesmaids' dresses here (which resulted in a discount because I purchased my bridal gown there) and all of my bridesmaids had great experiences with everyone they worked with as well. By the time the wedding arrived, everyone's dress fit perfectly and they all looked gorgeous. I highly recommend The Wedding Store for your bridal gown or bridesmaid dress search!

I was initially apprehensive about going through the wedding dress and fitting process but I could not have had a better experience, and I attribute that all to The Wedding Store. My entire family got their dresses there and we all absolutely LOVED our dresses. I initially told them what I wanted, which included some color in the dress, and they worked with me under a tight deadline to create the dress of my dreams with magenta accents :) . I can't say enough about The Wedding Store by Liz Clinton! I love them! Susan helped me from my first time there until my final fitting. Mary the seamiest was the best! I love the whole atmosphere of the shop and how accommodating the whole staff was to my friends, family, and myself. What a truly amazing experience I had with Judy and her staff. This was the first shop where I actually tried on dresses. They went above and beyond with their help. I tried on several dresses and then there was the last one which I thought I would not be able to try on. I am "plus" sized and the sample was too small so they opened the stitching in the back so I could slip dress on and get a better idea of how the dress would look on me. It was THE dress!!! It was the first dress on my list and the last I tried on. I don't regret not going to another shop to browse b/c of the truly fantastic experience I had.

Once they ordered my dress everything after was a piece of cake, the fittings and pick up. Getting the girls dresses was even easy. We wanted to order some lazaro dresses and they didnt have them in store and weren't sure they could get them b/c they werent carrying lazaro as much. They went out of their way and I was able to order all 3 girls dresses through them.

I would highly recommend The Wedding Store. You will not be dissapointed! :)

Judy and her seamstress Jann are special angels. I recently had an" accident" with a maid of honor's dress purchased at the Wedding Store. The wedding was 2 days away and I was beside myself. When I went to The Wedding Store upset and in a panic, my fears were immediately calmed. They provide a perfect solution and was able to correct my mistake in a very professional and barely noticeable manner. They were caring, professional and reassuring. I found my wedding dress in a catalog, and there were only 2 places in NJ that carried my dress and the closest one to me was The Wedding Store which was more than 45 minutes away from where I lived. I figured I would try it, and the dress was perfect and the store ended up being absolutely amazing!! I never expected that! They were so nice! They told me to come back to buy the dress on a specific date so I could get a discount. :) I loved that they have a little dog greeting you in the store too! He was so cute. :) Overall, an amazing experience with them. My dress was perfect! The only thing is try to make an appointment when they are not busy, like a weekday morning or something. Anyway, I drove 45+ minutes to get there each time I went to try it on or have a fitting, so that shows you it was worth it!

I simply loved the dress I found at the store. The sales people listened to me and were very welcoming. The dress was tailored exactly the way I wanted it to be! I felt amazing wearing this dress and dancing all night!

We had a couple sizing issues with some of the bridesmaids but we were all to work it all out and in the end we had amazingly comfortable and well fitting dresses for a very large bridal party. Really just a smooth and professional process.

My mom found a dress there as well and she looked gorgeous! She will wear that dress many more times!

Very happy to have gone there! Highly recommend them!

I had the best experience at this store. I called ahead to see if they had a wedding dress I fell in love with online, which they did. When I went, they brought it out to me (asking me for my budget first, which was appreciated!), and sure enough I fell in love with that dress immediately, even though it was the first dress I tried on (of course, I tried on others to be sure). I appreciated that they asked me what my budget was before bringing out any dresses, and they were very willing to work within my budget which was around 1,500 (which they didn't squawk at like other stores I've been to). They had a great variety of dresses within that price range, which I was so happy about! The 2 women who helped me were very attentive, friendly, and personable. They really made me feel special - I'm actually looking forward to my fittings because of the quality of service I received. I would recommend this place to anyone, I felt like a princess that day and will never forget it. Thank you for making my first dress try-on experience so memorable! And I absolutely LOVE my dress!

I had an amazing experience getting my wedding dress, veil, and jewelry from The Wedding Store! They had so many beautiful dresses to try on at very reasonable prices! I brought in a bunch of pictures of dresses I liked, and they pulled dresses that were perfect! It was actually hard to nail things down to just one dress! I went to a couple other places, but I really could have stopped after going here. They listened to what I wanted, gave me tons of personal attention, and were a lot of fun! After purchasing my dress, I then needed to schedule my fittings, which wouldn't have been such a big deal except for the fact that I live in KY. They were incredibly accommodating because I was an out-of-town bride, and they worked the fittings around my schedule when I would already be coming to town. I was also having trouble finding the right jewelry, and the seamstress helped me pick out the perfect necklace and earrings, which they discounted for me just to be kind! My only complaint is that the team who works with the seamstress isn't always particularly detail-oriented, and they didn't do one of the alterations she had listed on the dress ticket after the first fitting. When they shipped my dress to me after the final fitting (because the wedding was in TN) they had forgotten to finish re-doing the beading on the straps of my dress. This probably wouldn't have been a big deal if I had been a local bride who could ask them to fix it right then. Luckily, we went to a craft store and found similar beads, and my mom was able to finish the beading. So I would definitely make sure you check your dress for all the alterations you requested, and you may need to remind them to fix things. Overall though it was a wonderful experience, and the staff is great! They have beautiful dresses, kind and accommodating people, and reasonable prices. We're getting dresses here for my sister's wedding too because we love them! I definitely recommend them!

This was the first store I went to when searching for my wedding dress. Jill was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. I told her a little bit of what I was looking for and then we started trying dresses. After just a couple, she really seemed to have a great sense of what I wanted and came back with THE dress. We had her undivided attention, she made my mom and sister and I feel great, and it was such a wonderful, fun experience. Because I already had set up two appointments at other stores, I didn't say yes to the dress right then. I went to the other stores but after being at The Wedding Store, was disappointed and let down by how it went at these other two places. It wasn't the same fun vibe. I came back to The Wedding Store the next day and bought my wedding dress!

We also got our bridesmaids dresses at the store. They had lots of options and colors and were great at working with us until we found the perfect dress. There was a little confusion about if the style we liked came in the color we liked. They checked into it and without asking them, they sent the swatch of color to my house. It was exactly what I wanted. My bridesmaids loved the dress we ultimately picked and everyone looked beautiful.

My mom, and my husband's mom and step-mom all got their dresses from The Wedding Store too. This was wonderful because the ladies at the store knew what each mom had and were able to coordinate colors so their dresses wouldn't clash with each other and would go great with the bridesmaid dresses too. Worked out wonderfully and everyone looked beautiful in a dress that was perfect for them.

Overall, it was a terrific experience at The Wedding Store. Every time I went in, they remembered me and the details of the wedding. They really made you feel special and cared for and I knew we were in good hands. I highly recommend The Wedding Store to anyone with an upcoming wedding!

The best dress store in Northern NJ. The family friendly atmosphere was very comfortable but professional. The store had tons of options to choose from in many different price ranges. We went here for my bridal gown, mother of the bride dress and all the bridesmaid dresses. Each time in the store was better than the next. The store owners know everyone's name and have an amazing ability to find the right dress for you (maybe a style you didn't even think of) for your occasion. I strongly recommend this store to anyone getting married!

The staff at Liz Clinton are fantastic. They come up with the best suggestions and make you see the gowns in a new way. I was on the fence about my dress at first--I was waffling between a strapless and keyhole back style--but once they added a sheer bolero jacket to the strapless gown and a few accessories, I knew it was just what I wanted. At every appointment, they were very helpful and non- pressuring. You may find a gown less expensively somewhere else, but I think the expertise at Liz Clinton is worth a little extra!
