Wonderful experience!!

My experience at Wedding Embassy was nothing short of amazing! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff. Bona was so kind and patient as I tried on wedding gowns. She was very knowledgeable about dress styles and veils which helped me to narrow down my search. Giovanna was amazing to work with for alterations. Friendly, accommodating, and delightful!

Working with The Wedding Embassy was one of the best parts of wedding planning. The team at The Wedding Embassy is incredibly friendly and kind. I shopped for dresses at two stores and the difference in experience was huge. I often struggle to shop and make decisions, but the shopping experience at The Wedding Embassy was easy and fun. I worked primarily with Emma during my shopping appointments, but everyone there contributed to my positive experience. My crew and I appreciated that we could spend some time browsing the racks before I began trying things on. Emma paid attention to what I said, and what my face said, to help guide me to a dress I fell in love with. She let me explore all different styles and kept the experience energized and light. It was clear that she cared about my experience. At no time was I pressured to explore outside my budget or buy from them. She wanted to make sure I felt comfortable with whatever decision I made. I live out of state and the team was very accommodating of my schedule throughout the process. Towards the end, when I was torn between two dresses, they fit me in for a last minute appointment to help me decide. (I went with the dress I first fell in love with.) They worked with the tighter timeline I was on to make sure I was prepared in time for my wedding. I worked with Monika for the alterations and she was very helpful. I chose to DIY my veil and she offered some scrap material with embellishments that I could use and suggestions on how to arrange them. From start to finish, The Wedding Embassy was a delight to work with. My trips there always brightened my day thanks to their welcoming attitude, smiles, and caring service.

Dream Dress

This place is an absolute dream for the future bride! We had such a fun experience during the champagne toast, looking for dresses, and finally getting the staff's choice. They know their stuff! All staff are extremely professional and friendly. We even had a delightful experience with the seamstresses. 10 out of 10 highly recommend for any bride!

Wonderful experience beginning with shopping for a dress

The bridal consultants were wonderful with helping me shop for my dress and accessories. I had to have multiple fittings and had a good experience working with the seamstresses to get my dress to fit properly.

Highly Recommend!

I cannot recommend the wedding embassy enough! I took my mom and a few bridesmaids to my first appointment and we had so much time walking around pinning dresses. My stylist knew exactly what I was looking for and made sure we pulled all the right options. I fell in love with a dress but I wanted to do a few custom alterations to the neckline and to add a slit. Lisa knocked it out of the park with the alterations and made my vision come to life! Megan and the rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and I felt like I was in good hands. I’m so happy I bought my dress there.

They listened to what I liked and didn’t like, and found “the one” on my first visit. I needed some alterations and Renata was so patient and helpful. They even orchestrated a gifted veil from a friend without my knowledge. They are true professionals trying to help any bride feel good on their wedding day!

The best around!!

I had such an amazing experience at the Wedding Embassy! I had an appointment prior to the wedding embassy that was at an “upscale” store that turned out to be disappointing. The Wedding Embassy actually involved my party in the dress picking process. There were a TON of dresses to pick from, so each person in my group got to use two clothes pins to pin dresses they liked for me. Julie was amazing and caught on to what I liked and disliked about each dress before I could even figure it out for myself! My seamstress Phyllis was absolutely incredible. My family ran into traffic and was late for my first fitting and Phyllis put me immediately at ease, talking me through the process and then just chatting about life in general. It meant the world. Pickup at my last appointment was beyond easy, in and out in minutes. I couldn’t recommend the Wedding Embassy enough!!

A wedding dress dream come true

I can’t even express how happy I was with my wedding dress AND the customer service I received the whole year prior to my wedding day. Megan is absolutely professional, confident and smart and will go above and beyond to make sure that all of her brides are more than happy with their wedding dresses. Our seamstress Angela was SOO talented. I ended up needed a bunch of extra fittings to fix little things here and there on my dress and Angela calmly and quickly fixed every little thing I wanted to be fixed. You can tell how much she loves and cares about her work. Also, I can’t even count how many compliments I got on the beauty of my dress… THANK YOU WEDDING EMBASSY!

Great dress selection, great people

The Wedding Embassy was fantastic! They have the nicest staff, a great space, and a beautiful selection of wedding gowns in different styles and for different budgets. They really know their stuff and helped me to find the perfect dress for my big day. I had no idea what I was doing so I really appreciated their direction and patience for trying on several dresses until landing on the right one. They had really good communication and transparency throughout the process about pricing, when things would be available, etc. I used someone else closer to me geographically for alterations but I would have totally used them for that, otherwise. They can do it all! Would highly recommend for all brides to be.

Perfect say yes to the dress experience

This boutique is truly special. All of my appointments made me feel so special, and everyone I interacted with was so kind and accommodating! The whole process was fun and exciting, and I especially enjoyed my initial appointment trying on so many dresses. Fittings were done with skill and finesse, my dress fit like a glove for my big day! A wonderful experience!

Joyful experience, amazing alterations!

My maid of honor had an amazing experience with Megan, the owner of Wedding Embassy, for her wedding last year and she told me I HAD to work with Megan for my dress search. We tried another shop earlier in the morning and it was fine, but when I got to Megan in the afternoon, I immediately felt like THIS was what wedding dress shopping was supposed to feel like. She was upbeat, positive, and excited for me. She listened well to what I was looking for, respected our budget, and had impeccable shopping skills in her store - she knew all of her inventory and brought me so many dresses I could have imagined myself choosing. I found my dream dress with Megan and felt so confident in the whole process that this was the dress for me thanks to her expertise. The alterations team at WE is ALSO phenomenal, and I had to shout them out as well. Monica, our seamstress, truly worked miracles to make my dress fit me perfectly, and was so kind, diligent, and confident in the whole process even when I got nervous. I shouldn't have worried - she is so skilled and talented, and my dress fit perfectly on my big day! Thank you Wedding Embassy!!!

Amazing Experience

The Wedding Embassy was recommended to me by a friend after I had a few snobby experiences in Southern, CT. From the moment I walked in, I knew this would be the place I would find my dress. My bridal stylist consultant was so kind and never made us feel rushed. She also only pulled dresses within my price range and didn't make any judgements about what my budget was. The other fun part was that my mom and sisters were able to pick out dresses for me outside of my comfort zone, which added to the fun. Everyone who works here has upbeat hype girl energy. I had such a lovely experience with The Wedding Embassy when my sister in law found her wedding dress that I knew I had to return when it was time for me to find mine! It's a beautiful, rustic, well spread out boutique. You have your own space to try on dresses and show them off to your group. All of the consultants are so nice! I had Megan and she made me feel comfortable from the moment we met. She really listened to what I was looking for and my vision. She found some incredible options for me! Love The Wedding Embassy!

The Wedding Embassy went above and beyond to make sure I had the wedding dress of my dreams. They have such an amazing selection of gowns to try on, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. When the trunk show I was hoping to attend was cancelled due to COVID, they were able to borrow some of the dresses from the designer for me to try on for my own personal trunk show. I couldn't believe they would go that far just for one bride! Giovanna also did an amazing job with the alterations for my dress and made sure it fit exactly the way I wanted. After my wedding, they also were able to clean, preserve, and package my dress. I would definitely recommend the Wedding Embassy, not just for their selection of dresses but for how wonderful and helpful the entire team was from start to finish.

A great wedding gown shop!

I went to Wedding Embassy on the hunt for my wedding gown back in February of 2020. I decided to bring a few friends and family for what they call a "Champagne Sunday" appointment where we have the whole place to ourselves. Amy helped us to determine what dresses meet my ideas and budget needs and all of us went to work picking 1-2 dresses from their large selection for me to try on. While I tried on the dresses for everyone there were drinks and snacks to keep them busy! Amy took her time to ensure I felt my best and was confident with what I wanted most rather than what the "crowd" thought. Once I picked the one she helped to get the perfect veil to match too! I cannot say enough about how great my experience was with The Wedding Embassy. Highly recommend using them!

June 2021 Wedding

The team at WE was wonderful to work with from the start. As someone who is very self-conscious, I dreaded starting the process of finding my wedding dress. However, our consultant was absolutely amazing and listened to all my concerns and did not give up until we had found my dress! I had also asked to make a few customizations to my dress which they were more than willing to do, they made the whole process a breeze for me. Even after the wedding when I returned to the shop to have my dress cleaned and sealed for storage, they came through! I had a massive cranberry juice stain on the top of my dress that I was sure would never come out, and sure enough it was gone when I picked it up! If you’re having a hard time finding your dress, look no further than the Wedding Embassy!

The dress of my dreams!

I had the most incredible experience with The Wedding Embassy. They were my first and only shop. I booked a Champagne Sunday for July of 2020. We had a cute spread of local snacks and mimosas and I was able to bring my mom, mother-in-law, grandma, and bridesmaids. I had no idea what I wanted but had created a Pinterest board of things that caught my eye. Krissy was amazing and had us pick out dresses. I tried on probably 20 dresses and Krissy was helpful at staying in my budget. After trying on dresses, we realized I wouldn't need much in alterations and I was able to play a bit with my budget. Towards the end, she had a feel for my style and pulled a dress that we had looked at but was originally not in my range. I put it on and fell in love. It was perfect! The dress was a Stella York and wasn't in the color combo I would order, so Krissy was so helpful to underlay the correct color for visualization. I ordered the dress and then did a show and tell appointment in January of 2021.

My show and tell appointment was also with Krissy and the dress fit amazing. We looked at the small areas I may need altered and set my first fitting with the seamstress, Phyllis. The seamstress I worked with was professional and thorough and very reasonably priced (I didn't even come close to the alteration cap, which was also nice that they have a cap!) I have 3 fittings total and then picked up my dress the week of the wedding. It was such a seamless process and I am now in the process of bringing it back to WE to clean and preserve it. The whole team (including Megan and Joseph via email) were always so helpful and made this bride so calm! I 100000% recommend The Wedding Embassy to any new brides!

True professionals

The Wedding Embassy was the first and only place I looked for my wedding dress. Lorraine made sure I tried on all possible styles to be sure I knew what I wanted, and made the process so easy and fun. I didn’t want a strapless dress but the one I loved ended up being strapless. Lorraine assured me straps could be added and ordered extra appliqués with the dress to make it happen.

My dress came in and just before my first fitting we decided to postpone our wedding. The Wedding Embassy had me come in to at least try on my dress and make sure I was still happy with it before they packed it up to store until I needed to do my fittings.

Once it was time for alterations, Linda came in and worked her magic! She built the straps while I looked on in the mirror to make sure I loved every part of them. They looked perfect and immediately took away any concerns I had about making changes to the dress. She even added extra appliqués from my dress onto a face mask for me, though luckily I didn’t need to wear a mask at any point! Linda is fantastic at what she does and I’m so happy to have worked with her on my dress, everything was beautiful on the day of and I never wanted to take my dress off!

Gorgeous & Helpful Place!

Linda at The Wedding Embassy recently did extensive alterations on my wedding dress. After buying it in 2019, it was not my "dream" anymore in 2021. Linda had such a vision when I met with her and truly had the most amazing eye to transform the dress in just over two months. She is creative, accommodating, and honest. She is genuinely eager and happy to help. The other women who worked there were always very pleasant and happy to help me in anyway they can. Their shop is gorgeous and clean - I would highly recommend this shop!

Amazing and nothing but the best!

I was trying to find a great tailor in CT, did not buy my dress here, however, I did get a tailoring quote and from the second I stepped into building, I felt very welcome! I also felt they had a great variety of dresses and should have looked there first!

Joseph set everything up for my and answered my 5000 questions I had before I made an appointment. He was super helpful and was very knowledgeable about WE products.

My tailor who was providing the consultation, Linda, was amazing! She told me the things I needed and things I didn't need (but if I wanted them she could do them). Her customer service was so great and everyone was so nice and helpful! I went ahead and started my fitting and was very happy with the service I walked out with.

They all followed the COVID-19 safety protocols and everything was great!

Would recommend them 100 times over and over!

Wonderful Experience!

I loved my experience with The Wedding Embassy. I had been to a few other stores previously and had found some dresses I liked, but none that felt like the one. When we arrived, we were able to look through the gowns and pick ones we liked for me to try on. There was so much selection, and as a plus sized woman, I was so excited to see so many I could actually fit into. They were all beautiful, but still none of the ones we picked out felt like the one. My sales associate had me tell her a few dresses I had seen online that I liked and she picked one dress out for me to try. When I put it on, I felt so beautiful. It was definitely the one, and also definitely not one I would have picked out myself, so I’m so grateful she brought it out! I ordered it that day, and never had any regrets. I also had all of my alterations done through the store, and my seamstress was incredibly nice and did a wonderful job. I could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. The Wedding Embassy helped make me feel so special and beautiful for my big day. Thank you so much!

Incredibly talented seamstresses

The Wedding Embassy is a beautiful place to shop, the management/owner is so great and accommodating. But where The Wedding Embassy really shines is in its seamstresses. My seamstress completely and entirely rebuilt the bodice of my dress and the result was perfection. I loved my dress and would recommend The Wedding Embassy to anyone, particularly any bride who knows they will need extensive tailoring. My only negative was that the young woman who initially helped with my shopping wasn’t very enthusiastic and wasn’t very helpful in getting the dresses on. But The Wedding Embassy came through where it really mattered!

The best place to go for a wedding dress

I had the best experience at The Wedding Embassy From picking out my dress to picking up my dress from alterations. WE has an amazing atmosphere and really makes brides feel like they’re the number one priority. There are tons of dresses and a wide range of sizes to try on. There are dresses for every price point. Wish I started here first!

The Wedding Embassy was the 2nd bridal shop I walked into after feeling defeated from my first experience. The second I walked into the Wedding Embassy, I knew that this would be the place where I would find my gown. The Wedding Embassy is truly a beautiful shop. It always felt like a special experience whenever I was there. The owner Megan, is one of the sweetest vendors I have met. She put absolutely no pressure on me to find a dress and she was extremely down to earth. I also can't say enough about their seamstress, she did an incredible job tailoring my dress. My sister-in-law surprised me by taking me there after getting engaged, and from the moment you walk in the door, it is utter loveliness -- the lighting, the hardwood floors, the scent, the staff's warm welcome. You get treated like a queen! THEN I was given such a wonderfully selected range of gorgeous dresses, all within my price range. My ambassador was so patient, creative, and understanding of my desires for exploration. I had BEYOND the wedding-dress-shopping experience I'd dreamed of my entire life. It was SUCH a special day!! On top of all that, I had a very short engagement and it was going to be tight getting my dress altered and ready in time. I went twice to make my final selection, and once we chose The One, my ambassador talked me through every facet of the process and what to expect. The seamstress did SUCH an incredible job and fit my body perfectly! Because I had so little time, they also saved me by having some veils on hand (my ambassador hooked me up with the most stunning cathedral length veil!! it completely made the look come together) and earrings as well. I didn't have time to hunt down a million things so it was soo wonderful trying on everything together in real time! As if all that wasn't enough, they also PACKED my dress IN my suitcase before I flew out!! I couldn't believe how much they went above and beyond. Every time I'm in their shop I don't want to leave haha. They even have adorable bridal t-shirts and candles, which I purchased and highly recommend :) Thank you SO much Wedding Embassy!!!

Great first visit!

Although I didn't end up getting my dress from the Wedding Embassy, they were my first spot and I would HIGHLY recommend. Krissy was my consultant and was so lovely. The entire store is beautiful and my private appointment allowed me to have 2 hours there to try on a number of dresses. Thanks for making my first bridal dress experience so stree-free!

Felt special from the day I picked the dress until wedding day

I heard about The Wedding Embassy at a small bridal show in a local winery, where they had a gorgeous dress on display and were advertising champagne "show me" appointments... I was sold! I loved that they had a specific price range for all of their dresses that was definitely affordable. I had no idea that when I started dress shopping in March for my October wedding that I was already behind, but The Wedding Embassy made it so easy for me to find the perfect dress. The setting was great for my audience of six and there was definitely champagne. I tried on maybe a dozen dresses but I kept coming back to my all-lace halter dress with a gorgeous back and train. We even did all of the many buttons so I could get the full effect! They found the perfect veil to match and I ordered it all that day. We planned for three alteration appointments but only needed two: one for pinning/planning what type of bustle to create, and the other to try on the completed dress! I took it home two days before the wedding and it was packaged to make it to the venue without wrinkling. I felt amazing wearing it all day and the bustle was so easy for my maid of honor to do. I only wish I could wear my dress every day! I will probably use them for cleaning and preservation as well.

The Wedding Embassy turned dress shopping into a cherished experience!

The Wedding Embassy is not just a dress shop, but an experience. They truly made shopping for my wedding dress the most fun and glamorous experience I could've asked for. Employees are not pushy at all and allow you to search through their racks on your own, they were more than willing to talk you through customizing certain details and offer suggestions. My dress came in a timely fashion and their reminders for appointments and alteration appointments are extremely helpful. My seamstress took care in her work to make sure the dress fit me perfectly. She was also very conscious of pricing and let me know during each alteration appointment. Such a pleasant experience and will 110% recommend to any bride!

Dream Wedding dress

I had a wonderful experience finding my wedding dress at wedding embassy. Everyone there is very Friendly and helpful. When i went for my first appointment, I was so nervous and overwhelmed, but the woman (I am so sorry her name has left my brain currently) who helped me knew exactly what I wanted and helped me find my dream dress. They were also so accommodating when I wanted to drop in a few times to reassure myself of my decision and to try my dress on when I had my hair and makeup trial. The seamstress also did an amazing job altering my dress to fit me perfectly. I highly recommend going to wedding embassy to find your dream wedding gown

Amazing Bridal Shop and Even more Amazing Ladies

Megan the owner, Linda the seamstress, and everyone else at the Wedding Embassy are absolute gems, from my first shopping appointment to the final dress pick up appointment, they constantly make you feel like a friend and are so accommodating. A week before my final dress fitting, I was feeling a bit of panic and second-guessing my dress so I called Megan to ask if they would be able to alter the neckline of my dress and she fit me in for a consultation with Linda the next day to talk about what I wanted to do and she literally cut the dress while I was wearing it and it turned out amazing! They even took my veil that I purchased somewhere else and had it pressed and hanging perfectly with my dress for the pick up... I really can't recommend The Wedding Embassy enough, top notch bridal salon, absolutely the best in the area, and possibly the best in the entire state if I'm being honest.

Dress of my Dreams

Would not have wanted to get my wedding dress from anywhere else! Megan and the Wedding Embassy staff are amazingly kind, knowledgeable and flexible! I had been to a couple of salons, including the Wedding Embassy in my search for a dress. I knew I had found the dress, but at a salon I did not want to purchase from. I went back to the Wedding Embassy after loving my experience so much and shared my woes with Megan, the owner. She is a dream-maker, for she informed me of their contract with the designer of my dream dress and ordered a loaner of that dress THAT DAY! She also informed me that if I still loved it when I tried on the loaner then I could order the dress through the Wedding Embassy. Best news ever!!!

I not only worked closely with Megan, the owner, but also with the amazing Monika. She is one of their seamstresses at the shop and is a magician with a needle and thread! She is so good at what she does, explaining to me what she thinks should be taken in and fixed to make the dress perfect. And perfect it was! I was so confident in working with Monika that my dress would look flawless on the day. And I was not disappointed.

It was an absolute joy to work with Monika, Megan and the whole Wedding Embassy team. Wish I could go and buy my dress all over again! Cannot wait to return to get my dress preserved.

I would absolutely recommend this Bridal Shop!

The Wedding Embassy was amazing and I would absolutely recommend them to other brides! Their shop is beautiful and I found my dream dress there the first time I went. Their staff was amazing and patient with me. They even were able to let me slightly alter my dress to add a little extra sparkle to the bottom to make it perfect. Amazing!

PLEASE, PLEASE go here. I bought a dress by my house at a local bridal salon and when it turned out it wasn't 'the one,' I decided to drive 2 hours down to the Wedding Embassy. I am so glad I did. The space is GORGEOUS and so is the selection, and everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I couldn't decide between 2 dresses so Alison helped me basically design my own and the changes were super affordable! Also - Monika the seamstress is a wizard - I only had to have 1 fitting :)

Highly Recommended

The Wedding Embassy helped me find my dream dress. I had no idea what kind of dress I wanted, just a lot of ideas on what I didn't want. I had gone to another dress shop before coming here and thought I found "the one" but still wanted to come to my appointment. Walking in I already felt like a special bride - the shop is amazing and open which I highly appreciated (having come from a very crammed shop). My friends were all able to pick a few dresses they wanted to see me in but after explaining what I liked and didn't like and what I wanted to hide and show off, they brought me "the dress". I tried it on and knew right away the previous dress was kicked to the curb. There were immediate tears and the whole works, I tried a few more on and then came back to the one. There was no pressure, I actually left without buying it and went back a month or so later to make sure I was 110% positive. I was. I continue to receive so many compliments on my dress and it truly was one of my favorite parts in planning for the wedding, which I attribute to the Wedding Embassy - thanks guys!

Beautiful Store!

I honestly wish this store combo'd as a venue because the interior is perfection! Wedding Embassy is such a lovely spot with a beautiful selection of dresses. Although I did not find my wedding gown here, I did have a fantastic experience visiting and trying on dresses. The consultant was super friendly and I loved how she has you place clothespins on the hangers of the gowns you'd like to try on (always love when a shop let's you browse their inventory first!) She also did a great job of choosing gowns for me to try on based on what I did and did not like. This is such a lovely store with so many designer and style options to choose from!

Flawless Attention to Detail

The staff at Wedding Embassy are extremely friendly, considerate, and flawless at what they do. My dress was absolutely perfect on my wedding day. They scheduled several alterations to make sure it fit like a glove on my special day. They were also considerate when it came to alteration prices. They even reduced my cost of alterations by making sure they didn't attach the lace at the bottom of my dress until it was perfectly my size. Their attention to detail will SHINE on your wedding day.

Perfect for any bride!

Going into dress shopping, my mind was all over the place and I didn’t really know what I wanted. Very quickly, I felt comfortable at the Wedding Embassy and ended up falling in love with and getting the first dress I had tried on (probably 12 total). After choosing, the owner came over and worked on customizing the dress with me. I have a rather large bust size for my waist size and she knew exactly what to do. My seamstress was also amazing and ended up beautifully building up the bust line last minute and fitting my dress perfectly. The shop is adorable and I had so much fun with the crew I had brought. I highly recommend the Wedding Embassy to any bride!

Look No Further For Your Wedding Gown!

Wedding Embassy is truly your one stop shop for your wedding attire. When I called the shop to schedule an appointment I was able to make an appointment for the following afternoon. I was paired up with Lorraine who was absolutely amazing. She sat and talked with my mom and me about the different styles of dresses. My only dress "experience" was watching, "Say Yes to the Dress" but my experience at this wonderful shop was so much better than any of the reviews I had heard about from that "other" store! We were given the opportunity to pick out a plethora of dresses to try on. Do yourself a favor- try on all different types whether you have a specific vision or not. The appointment was extremely laid back, stress free and fun! We were allowed to take pictures of all the gowns which I also strongly suggest as well! We returned a few weeks later (partially due to my indecisiveness as well as wanting my future mother in law to be a part of the experience) and I chose my perfect dress! Krissy also helped with my second visit and provided excellent feedback for my narrowed down selections. One of the many wonderful things about this shop is that they have in house alterations. I've seen and heard from so many people who have purchased a dress and have a very difficult time and terrible experience finding a seamstress. My alteration appointments (I believe I had 4 or 5 total) were a wonderful experience as well! I also had my dress cleaned through Wedding Embassy after my destination wedding- can't forget to mention the shop packed ALL of my stuff for me! My dress, shoes, accessories, my husbands suit and shoes as well- into a carry on suitcase. When we arrived at the resort for our wedding everything was packed perfectly and wrinkle free! I cannot say enough about the amazing staff, gorgeous selection of high quality dresses, accommodating appointment times and the final product for one of the most memorable days of my life! I highly recommend Wedding Embassy!

I feel like I could say this for every vendor and service we got with our wedding, but I would recommend The Wedding Embassy to ANYONE! They were fantastic!
For starters, I would strongly recommend the Champagne Sunday experience at Wedding Embassy. You definitely need to book in advance, but that makes sense as you get the entire store to yourself for three hours! Plus, there are only so many Sundays. I had no trouble getting an appointment a few weeks from when I called. \
That experience was so fantastic! I was able to bring eight people with me, and Megan had snacks and champagne ready for us. She sat us down and asked about what type of dress I was looking for, then gave me and all my ladies clothespins and had us pin dresses to try on. I had a blast, and I found my dream dress! I got to have my weepy, saying-yes-to-the-dress moment, complete with little hand signs for my ladies to wave around. It was such a fantastic experience, one I’ll never forget!
My dress came in about six months later and I booked a “show-and-tell” appointment. This time I brought my mom and sister, along with my grandmothers, and got to put my dress back on, with the accessories I had gathered since picking out the gown. That was so fun, and gave me a chance to see that I was still head over heels for this dress, even months later! I did my alterations through W.E. too, and that was great. I went in three times to have adjustments made (hemming, the belt was sewed on, cups were put into the bodice), the last time mainly being just so my bridesmaids could learn the bustle. The dress fit beautifully, and I didn’t want to take it off! It was a pleasure to put it back on for the actual wedding a few days later. Overall, The Wedding Embassy was an absolute delight to work with. They were friendly, professional, offered great advice, patient, and so knowledgeable. Picking out my wedding dress was something I’ve always dreamed about, and W.E. was the perfect place to go!

A co-worker recommended Wedding Embassy and I am so happy that I checked it out. I loved how they allowed us to shop and browse the store, rather than just pulling the dress for me. I tried on 10-15 dresses, but ultimately fell in love with one. It was the first store I had been to, but this dress was so original and was perfect for my venue. The prices were reasonable and all of the ladies that worked there were very helpful. I also purchased my view and earring from the store. They were also reasonably priced and beautiful. For my fittings I worked with the seamstress, Diane, who was amazing. She was very professional and talented. She added several details that I didn't even think of (such as including a belt inside the dress so it wouldn't slip down). Diane made my dress look perfect. I received so many compliments on my wedding day and absolutely loved my dress. I wish I could wear it everyday. My experience at Wedding Embassy was wonderful! I would definitely recommend them!

I had the most amazing experience from start to finish! My consultant was super helpful in picking my dress, after seeing what I picked, she also pulled dresses and I ended up falling in love with one of her picks even though its not what I originally thought I wanted. The staff was always very friendly and made me feel special at every visit. They were easy to communicate with and sent out frequent reminders to keep me on the timeline. The alterations were affordable and my dress fit perfectly! I would highly recommend the Wedding Embassy to anyone looking for a dress!

I went to many other bridal salons before final finding my dress here and it was the best experience! My bridesmaids and I were greeted by my very knowledgeable consultant Loraine, who expertly guided me through the appointment. We first went and put pins on dresses to try.. I loved that my bridesmaids got to be involved and that I got to try on styles I never thought of. Loraine was full of helpful advice and never made me feel rushed or like she was trying to make a sale. When I chose my dress everyone was genuinely happy! The process from there was so smooth, the seamstress was amazing and every staff member I worked with was friendly and accommodating. I did the private Sunday champagne session where myself and bridal party and mother’s had the whole salon to ourselves! Found the perfect dress and bridesmaids dress all that day. I had such a great experience at the Wedding Embassy and am so glad I found it through the recommendation of my wedding venue. The shop itself is spacious and airy and the staff was wonderful, from my initial visit to the day I picked up my dress. I found my dress on my second visit when I had gone back to try on a dress I thought was the one. When I tried it on the second time I just wasn't sure. I thought I had tried on everything the shop had that fit my style already but Hannah then asked if I'd be open to a sample dress and when I said yes she pulled out the dress I had been picturing in my head but had yet to find anywhere! I decided to also get my alterations done at Wedding Embassy, and as an out of state bride, needed to coordinate my fittings around visits to CT. Megan and Linda both went above and beyond to accommodate me (Linda even came in for one fitting outside of her regular hours) which I so appreciated and really helped eliminate a potential stressor during the wedding planning process!

I had a wonderful experience finding my dream wedding dress at the Wedding Embassy. First of all, this shop has the best ambiance and style. I loved just being in there! I worked with Hannah who helped me quickly and painlessly find the dress of my dreams. I had a vision of what I wanted, but she helped me comb through all the options to make sure it was THE one. She answered all of my questions, even ones I didn’t know I had! I was 1000% happy with my decision and never once questioned it. From there, the dress came quickly and I was able to go in and try it on for a “show and tell” appointment before alterations began. I also got my BEAUTIFUL earrings here - there jewelry selection is amazing!! The dress fittings (3 of them) went great, and Linda was absolutely amazing in making sure the dress fit and looked PERFECT. When I picked up my dress for the final time, they went through every single detail I needed to know about how to care for it leading up to the wedding day, and each and every time I visited the shop the entire staff was so lovely, kind, and made me feel so special. They take all of the anxiety of dress shopping away! I HIGHLY recommend the Wedding Embassy to help you find your dream dress!! You will have an amazing experience!

I purchased my dress from The Wedding Embassy for our 10/15/17 wedding, and had an absolutely amazing experience. They responded very quickly to any questions I had, and were able to get a sample to their shop for me for my dream dress, which I fell in love with! I had a large entourage with me for my appointment and they were understanding and accepting of that, and put us in an area that could comfortably accommodate everybody. The seamstress went above and beyond for my alterations and my dress fit me like a glove. If you're looking for a personal and classy experience, this is the place!

I had a wonderful experience at the Wedding Embassy. I went to purchase my dress during a sample sale, and despite them being very busy the woman who helped me with my dress was extremely helpful. She calmly helped me work my way through dresses. I tried on about 12 during my appointment, and ended up purchasing the second one I tried on... which was not at all what I went in looking for! She listened to what I was envisioning for my day, and she actually picked out that dress for me- it was perfect for my big day!

Alterations were also wonderful, they kept me from panicking when my dress had to be let out, and my dress was PERFECT the day of.

Would definitely recommend making an appointment at the Wedding Embassy, and hopefully you'll also find the dress of your dreams!

The Wedding Embassy was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful throughout the whole process of finding my dress and getting it altered. My consultant was patient when helping me to find the perfect dress. I was also impressed with the alteration department's attention to detail. I even got my earrings there and they matched perfectly with my dress! The Wedding Embassy is a great place to get your dream dress!

I splurged for a Champagne Sunday appointment to shop for a grown, it was worth every penny for the individual attention. Me and my girls had free rein of the salon and we had a blast, not to mention I found my dress with time to spare, so my girls then tried on Bridesmaid dresses. I also got my alterations done there by Nancy, she was great, and they were reasonably priced. I will be looking into having my dress preserved there. They are a one stop shop, no need to look elsewhere.

We got my bridesmaid dresses, my dress, my husbands tux and the groomsmen tuxes here and everything was perfect! Megan is so knowledgeable and amazing at what she does and never steers you wrong. She made sure everything was flawless. I worked a lot with Hannah who is also so awesome. She was so helpful with all my crazy questions and when making my decisions. I was determined to make a mismatch theme work for my bridesmaids and she made it so easy for me to visualize how it would look and it came together beautifully. I am so happy we chose them- this is the place to go!

I was recently wed and bought my dress at the Wedding Embassy. They are awesome! Their selection is wonderful! And easy to browse with the way the shop is set up. The staff was attentive to me and took my ideas and thoughts and was able to find the perfect dress for me. It was a breeze with no pressure at all. And I even got a compliment on how perfect my bustle was ! I had a complicated French style bustle and it came out perfect and was so easy for my MOH to pull up. The building and location makes you feel like you are at a cool boutique in Brooklyn so overall it was fun experience !

Beautiful salon with incredibly friendly staff! I originally went in because they were the only store in CT that had the dress I thought was the one. I have been to a couple salons before but nothing made me excited. My appointment was with Megan and she saved that one dress for last, we tried on several dresses with no luck when she suggested one that was a mermaid, something that wasn't even on my radar, turns out it was PERFECT. I feel in love with the dress right away, it was so different than anything I had seen but also so classy and at a good price. Megan still had me try on that original dress which just confirmed the mermaid dress was the one. She knew what I wanted with me not evening truly knowing! Alternations were super easy with Nancy and they looked great. Absolutely worth the drive!

I had a wonderful experience at the Wedding Embassy! I first found my dress out of state in the town where I grew up, and the Wedding Embassy was the first salon in CT to get the dress in stock. The staff was warm, helpful, and easy to get a hold of. Linda, who completed my alterations, was amazing! There was a mix up with my first fitting after I rescheduled it, and I received a call that afternoon that my dress had not been worked on- but when I explained that I had family already driving 6 hours to be at this appointment, Linda and multiple other seamstresses worked together to get my dress completely ready for me! I was blown away and so very appreciative of their hard work. Thank you Megan, Linda, and the rest of the staff for making me feel beautiful in my perfect dress!

First of all, the boutique is beautiful!! I can't get enough of the decor, location, and displays. The staff is so friendly and complimenting from the second you walk in. At first I thoughthought, "I can never afford a dress in this store!" But the staff worked with me until the very end and I was able to get the dress of my dreams for exactly my budget. Thoroughly satisfied with the services of this venue. Their owner, staff and seamstress helped me have the most amazing wedding ever. They made me feel at ease, even at a time when I felt stressed. The selection and pricing were reasonable. On top of that, they have a top notch seamstress that helped make my wedding dress feel like it was custom made for me. Meghan and her team, especially Christy, are amazing. Christy paid attention to everything we said and found me the perfect dress. She also helped me find my Mom her dress (and my mom went in kicking and screaming to wear jeans - not gonna happen), but Christy was able to help her find the perfect dress too. And my bridesmaids got their dresses there as well. Everything came in on time, in great condition and are just waiting for the alterations which will start soon. Everyone there is so nice and polite and responsive. I highly recommend you use them.

Although I didn't buy my dress here, I'm SO THANKFUL that I found the Wedding Embassy and moved my dress here for alterations. Linda made sure that my dress was absolutely perfect and was patient with my every question and request. She was also able to fix my mother's dress along with the dresses for my bridesmaids which we had a hard time with because they were covered in sequins. I'm forever grateful. THANK YOU!

The Wedding Embassy did the tuxes for the groom, groomsmen, and ring bearer for our wedding. They were very pleasant and easy to work with. They were attentive and flexible throughout the wedding planning process. They gave specific instructions on dates and time frames to have the attire completed appropriately. They made reminder calls and reached out in an effort to make sure things were done properly. Very easy to work with.

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Megan and her staff were absolutely flawless, Linda their seamstress in particular. I went in with a dress I bought a while back at Davids Bridal. It was the design I wanted but as a conservative, young bride, I wanted to have sleeves added to the strapless gown I had. Linda created the most beautiful top to my dress and added lace that matched complete perfect with the existing lace on the old dress. She listen to exactly what I wanted and created it with no trouble. It was a little bit pricy to have the top created but all other alterations myself or my bridesmaids had to their dresses were reasonable. The quality of service was unimaginable. I will recommend them to every bride, they have something for everyone.

I recently went to The Wedding Embassy to find a wedding dress, and I have to say it was a great experience. I brought 5 people and there was plenty of room for them to sit while I was trying on dresses, and they were able to help with the dress selection, which made it more exciting! All of the staff there were very helpful and friendly. My consultant Krissy was especially nice and helped me get in and out of my dresses quickly so that I could try on as many as I wanted during my appointment. She also helped down select based on what I was looking for and pulled various additional options that she thought I would like. Needless to say, I found a dress that I loved! I would definitely recommend The Wedding Embassy to anybody!

All of the girls were more than accommodating with my price range and super honest! They never pushed me into buying something that was too expensive, they would tell me where to get it so that everything was perfect for me! We also got our tuxes there which were perfect. I can not express enough how incredibly impressed I was with the Wedding Embassy! I bought my wedding dress at WE in January, and could not be happier! I also had my dress altered here. My bridesmaids got their dresses here, and one bridesmaid did her alterations here. (I'm considering using their cleaning service now, post-wedding.)They have a great selection and great service!

I made my appointment because there was an Allure that weekend, and I liked their dresses. I went on a Saturday morning with my mom and two friends, and worked with Christy. My budget was $2000 and I had zero problems with this budget at WE. Loved how they did the selection process: we were given pink clothespins and allowed to roam, pinning dresses to try on. It let you pick but also kept things within a manageable number.

Christy also pulled one she thought I would like, which I tried on first. SURPRISE - that was my dress! I tried on a total of 13 that day, but came back to my first one! It's a beautiful champagne-colored ballgown from Allure that I am completely in love with (9067). Christy was so nice and not at all pushy, very supportive of my choice. I never felt rushed. In the interest of transparency, I paid about $1100 for my dress (I got a 10% discount because of the trunk show) and I bought my beautiful veil that day.

Megan, the owner, is also very friendly and high-energy. She really makes an effort to interact with everyone and is obviously very knowledgeable. In my visits there, I also saw her calming brides down expertly!

My bridesmaids dresses were also gorgeous, and we had a fun day choosing. We tried on a beautiful dress that was more than I'd wanted them to spend, and Megan was right there with a less costly option.

The alterations cost a bit more than I expected (I wasn't at the cap, but was less than $100 away), but they were well-done and my seamstress was great. One great thing to note is that since I bought my dress is January the size of the store has more than doubled! It's so great to see a business like WE grow!

This was the first dress place I went to. Did find anything so I went to 3 other stores. Still didn't find anything and came back mostly because they had best service and their selection was terrific (even if i didn't find "the one" the first time I was there). My last trip there was about to break my heart. I couldn't find anything I liked! Then the associate (Chrissy) showed me what she thought would make me happy and you know what??? It did! Right then and there I said "yes to the dress" and it was a great feeling. Megan was also a joy to see on my many trips there and was also very helpful and knowledgable about her products. I also purchased my veil, bridesmaids shawls and used their alterations lady who was thorough and professional. If I ever need a dressy dress again or accessories, I will be going back there again!

I went to several stores before making an appointment at WE. I ended up buying the very first dress I tried on. It was a little over my budget but they worked their magic and got the price down. I ended up purchasing a Maggie Sottero gown in diamond white. I loved the dress from the moment I saw it and when I tried it on I knew it was the one. Thanks to WE staff I was able to afford it.

My bridesmaids dress were also purchased at WE. My girls didn't spend more then $175 (including alterations) for their dress which was amazing seeing as most shops we went to had bridesmaids dresses at $300 and up. When my Mother in Law flew in for my fitting she ended up finding her dress there too. Every dress was discounted due to me purchasing my gown there. (Talk about a bonus).

The staff of WE is amazing. Everyone is so professional, friendly and helpful. They can have a showroom full of people and still make you feel like you are the only one in the room. The alteration process was so easy and fairy priced. They even held our dresses until the day before the wedding to ensure they were safe and sound.

I would recommend every soon to be bride to schedule an appointment. They have recently expanded the store and it is just gorgeous. You will be treated like a princess and you will love the wide variety of dresses they have. As a size 12 I am considered plus size in the bridal world. Some shops only carried sizes 8 and 10 so I could barely try anything on. At WE they have sizes for all brides so you can actually see the dress on you rather the imagine how it might look.

PS: We all loved Meghan. She is amazing!!

I had tried dresses on at about 10 different shops and this one was my favorite. They have a great selection of beautiful dresses and all of the staff are wonderful to work with when you're shopping for such an important dress. The prices are very reasonable and they have trunk shows to give even more value. The store is big and pretty. You are made to feel imporant and welcomed. Throughout the whole process from trying on dresses to buying my dress and picking it up for my wedding day I was happy with the service and quality. They have a very good seamstress they use for alterations and she did a wonderful job. My dress looked perfect on me and I felt amazing. I got more compliments on my dress at the wedding than almost anything else! Thank you Megan Dumaine and the staff of The Wedding Embassy!! You guys are wonderful and made my day pefect :) We even had the guys get their tuxes there and the girls got their bridesmaids dresses here too. Wonderful experience.

I got my wedding dress here, and Megan and Chrissy were SO kind and patient when helping me pick the perfect dress. I can't thank Megan and Chrissy enough as I suddenly gained some weight a week before the wedding (due to medication) and they were able to squeeze me in for an emergency final fitting to let out the dress in time for my wedding! Linda, the seamstress, was AMAZING and was able to fix my dress and it looked amazing on the day of. Although the Embassy was an hour away (one way!) it was completely worth it for their flexibility and Linda's skills! Sometimes they do get busy and you will have to wait 10-30 minutes, but it was well worth it.

I was at WE March 27th for my wedding dress. What was a nerve racking task hanging over me, instantly became fun and easy with Christina's help! Christina, helped me stay within my price point and find the perfect dress!!!
I had narrowed it down to 4 possible choices, my mom, bridesmaids and I wanted to see "something different" for me to try on for the last dress, Christina made the pick, and we all LOVED IT!!! A dress I never would have thought to try for myself ended up being a perfect fit and look for me, all thanks to Christina!
I also loved the environment of the shop and the laid back, relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend WE to any bride-to-be for an awesome dress shopping experience!!!

Megan and her staff at the Wedding Embassy are amazing. They are professional, helpful, and have an expertise that I was unable to find anywhere else. It took me several visits to determine the exact dress I wanted for my wedding, as I am very indecisive, and Megan helped me every step of the way. She was able to make suggestions and give guidance when I needed it, but recognized when I needed her to step back so I could think. Once the final decision on my custom Casablanca was made, it was on to bridesmaid dresses. The WE staff accommodated my bridal party for fittings and did an excellent job with making the girls look beautiful. After my fittings, where every detail of my dress was considered, my dress fit me like a glove and was PERFECT. I am so in love with my dress and wish I could wear it again! We also picked out tuxes through the WE and not only are the WE staff able to deal with emotional girls, but also annoying boys. The WE became my second home in the year and a half I was planning my wedding, and now that I’m married, I miss visiting!! The cozy and welcoming environment is SO different from the big box stores. Every bride is important to them and they will never look at you as another “sale.” Hoping to go back soon with a recently engaged friend!

For those looking for a wedding gown, make it a point to make an appointment at the Wedding Embassy. Their selection is fabulous and the staff is very pleasant. There was a bit of a snafu with sizing, but it was taken care of immediately and did not end up being an issue. Megan and the staff work very hard and it shows. They can get very busy, so give yourself plenty of time, especially if you are not planning on buying a sample. They even took care of dying my bridal shoes a custom color and recommended the proper undergarment for my dress. They know their stuff. It was by far the best dress shopping experience of the 5+ shops I went to.

Purchasing my bridal gown from the Wedding Embassy was a wonderful experience! I went in overwhelmed and unsure of what I wanted and left relaxed with a better understanding of what styles I liked/looked good on me. It was the first store I went to and I returned a few days later to buy my gown.

Love the Wedding Embassy! Our wedding was originally planned for June '14 and after a quick decision we moved the date up to 11/16/13, giving just 3 weeks for planning. I had my dress picked out and ordered way in advance but the girls at WE fit me in with ample time for alterations and fittings before our new big day! Can't say enough good things, the store, staff and dresses are awesome!
