My husband and I were married at The Waterview on 7/12/24. We could not recommend this venue enough! My coordinator, Zuleika, was incredibly kind and flexible throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, she always made sure my husband and I were enjoying our night and had enough food and drinks. My bridal suite was filled with water and snacks, and was even filled with food from cocktail hour when we returned from our ceremony. Amazing service overall.
The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with views of the garden and Lake Zoar. We were married on the West Side, which has more of the garden view, but both sides are beautiful!
We truly cannot thank The Waterview staff enough for the kindness, attention to detail, and overall amazing customer service. You can’t go wrong getting married here.

Amazing Experience (From contracting, day-of, and food!)
From our very first meeting at the Waterview, the entire staff was friendly, engaging, and professional. As a LGBTQ couple, My husband and I knew this would be the right venue for us. They had all of the right facilities, accommodating all of our needs, and flexibility with dates and costing.
The day of the event was seamless with no stress for my husband or I. Our families all enjoyed the Waterview from the ceremony through dinner and dancing. Our coordinator, Kat, was absolutely incredible. She was able to take our vision and make it a reality. We cannot say enough about the staff and facilities. The Garden Room and East room are simply amazing.
Highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches at the end of the night--people are still talking about them!

The Waterview team is the BEST. From the start, their number one priority was always making us happy. They were so flexible and worked with everything we asked of them. I had A LOT of questions and our coordinator Kat was always very fast and detailed with her responses.
We had our wedding the week after the terrible storm that hit Monroe. The sinkhole made it impossible to have the ceremony where it was originally intended. At first I was devastated but it ended up being a blessing in disguise. I HIGHLY recommend a ceremony in front of their fountain. I was absolutely blown away by how it was decorated, it felt like a fairytale. Everyone told us how great their food and cake was and we even went home with a bunch of leftovers.
Beyond reasonable pricing, good food, good staff, and a perfect wedding!!!

Amazing venue
My daughter's wedding/reception at The Waterview 2/2024 was amazing! The venue itself is so beautiful. Due to good weather we were even able to take advantage of their gorgeous grounds to take outside pictures. The food was upscale and so delicious. Our guests were so impressed with the quantity and quality of all of the food. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. Kate was our wedding coordinator and she helped us plan a beautiful day. I highly recommend this venue!

The Waterview is “The Place”
The Waterview - What an amazing venue!!
This venue was truly the best bridal friendly venue we found. From the moment we saw the venue we knew this was the place, it’s scenic beauty, openness, and seclusion was exactly what we were looking for. The Waterview staff confirmed our initial thoughts, as they were super friendly and pleasant. It was refreshing to have venue that displayed and delivered honest and transparent packages about what we can expect and what they would deliver. They never tried to upsell things we didn’t need or want, rather they listened to our vision and made it happen. Zuleika was our coordinator, and we couldn’t be any more grateful for her commitment and thoughtfulness to ensure our wedding was spectacular. During the process of planning (our numerous calls, emails, indecisiveness/uncertainty), we felt catered to as if we were the only wedding party Zuleika was taking care of. Zuleika and her team, never disappointed us but instead reassured us and kept the bride (me) calm. The level of attentiveness we received was consistent throughout the process, from day 1 we were assured we’d be able to integrate and enjoy our favorite Jamaican restaurant’s cuisine into our cocktail hour, to making sure the details of my vision/decor for the ceremony and reception we’re carried out, to ensuring we captured the sparkler send off before our photographer’s contract time ended. Right before the ceremony, a minor detail was out of place and Zuleika made sure it was corrected prior to the start of the ceremony. In addition, they worked with us to setup and break down decor items and it was neatly packed for next day pickup.
By far, we were beyond blessed to have the Waterview as the venue our wedding. While there are a lot of venues out there, the Waterview is truly a top notice venue that’s easy to work with and has the best staff. Our guests (200+) have not stopped talking about our wedding. Our guest traveled from near and far (Canada, Florida, Jamaica, New York, Seattle, Houston) and raved about the beautiful views (lake and garden views), the food selection(s)/quality/taste, and staff’s genuine interest to ensure all guest were comfortable. Zuleika and her team even opened up the inside venue to several guests who arrived extra early so they didn’t wait outside in the heat. The natural beauty of the venue sitting on the water of Lake Zoar combined with the inside elegant charm is unmatched. Their ability to manage larger weddings seamlessly is phenomenal. The WATERVIEW is “THE PLACE!”

The team was amazing at the Waterview! Kat was particularly excellent and so kind. It rained the morning of the wedding and the outdoor garden flooded. The staff swept the water out to the drain so that we could have it outside. I am so grateful to our wedding planner for finding that venue for us.

Perfection.
I have actually lived down the road from the Waterview since it opened but never imagined id get married there. It seems so grand and out of my reach.
But I was told by my siblings who had worked for the Waterview and by multiple other people that I would love it. So we made an appointment to meet with April.
Not only were we blown away by the venue but how affordable it was. We picked a Friday in the Winter so was off season.
April was great to set everything up so when Kat took over it was seamless.
I couldn’t count how many emails Kat had to answer from me but she always did without fail.
The day of my bridal attendants were angels and the guests loved the food and venue space.
The amount of care we felt from the team was astounding and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Amazing venue, great staff/team, fairytale wedding!!
My wedding was early June 2022. I fell in love with the west side outdoor ceremony space. We did an outdoor ceremony, and indoor reception. And honestly it was perfect. The team was great, extremely responsive especially during such a crazy, unsure time, coming fresh out of the pandemic. They were very accommodating and pretty easy to work with. The best part was during my ceremony a family of geese waddled by and it was perfect. My only tip would be girls, if you’re using a cathedral train veil… either test it out before hand or use a runner!!!

I couldn't recommend a more perfect venue for my NYE wedding. Taylor or team took such good care of my guests throughout the night - the boxed up dinners for guests who needed to leave early, added dessert and late night stations last minute, made the most amazing birthday cake for my father-in-law and the list goes on. The perfect wedding venue!

The waterview exceeded our expectations of a dream wedding! We got married 9.10 on the west side. From the moment we toured the venue to our wedding day, everyone at the venue was so helpful and nice. The Waterview venue and Team made our wedding a dream come true! We were married on a Thursday and enjoyed every moment! The food was amazing, they decorated the venue exactly how we envisioned. The best venue ever !
I always knew I wanted to have our wedding at the waterview and we are both so glad that we did. They did an amazing job! Our wedding guests loved the venue, loved the bar, loved the dance floor, loved the food! We cannot thank The Waterview enough for creating an amazing wedding reception for us. From the moment we walked in the door, they made planning so easy. To say that our wedding reception was flawless would be an understatement. The Waterview was so incredibly professional and put great care into the details. Our coordinator worked so closely with all of our vendors to ensure that the entire event went without a hitch. The food was incredible, and easily better than fine dining restaurants we've been to. The Waterview offers so many fun options when it comes to food, and the ones we chose absolutely wowed our guests. The Viennese table was gorgeous, and was a fun focal point for guests. Words can’t describe how grateful we are for our coordinator Taylor and the entire Waterview team! Our February wedding day felt stress-free and we were able to be present and enjoy each moment. We know there must have been things that went “wrong” but we did not see any of it, which is a testament to the team’s ability and commitment to us. They truly made us feel so special and supported!
Our guests and vendors had so many compliments, like “it’s the most beautiful wedding venue I’ve ever been to!” and “the best cocktail hour apps ever!” (Clear favorite was the jerk steak passed app!). Guests were so impressed that the 2 bartenders were able to handle the entire group with no lines. The Waterview truly lives up to their years of positive reviews!

Worth The Wait!
Our wedding at The Waterview was basically a 2 year process having booked everything in late spring/ early summer 2019 for a June 2020 wedding that had to be postponed to June 2021 due to the pandemic. Everything had basically been planned already for our 2020 wedding before the need to postpone. We'd experienced the food and cake tastings and all the details were pretty much sorted thanks to April and Colin for being so communicative and accommodating. Making the decision to postpone was so heartbreaking because at the start of the pandemic no one knew what was going on or how long it would take to congregate safely again. April was one of the only people left in the office at that point, and she made it so easy to push our wedding out to the same exact weekend a year later. (We were also super lucky that all of our vendors were also available for the new date.) When The Waterview finally reopened and we were in the all clear to resume planning, we picked right back up with Colin where we'd left off. He was there to answer any questions we had, especially ones regarding the health and safety of our family and friends and The Waterview staff. The Waterview was with us every step of the way. They made everything very clear (payment due dates, how and when to drop off personal items for the wedding, the rehearsal, coordinating vendors, etc.) Our ceremony was in the West Side Garden which was so beautiful. It was important to us to be outdoors, especially near the water, and the pergola, garden, and fountains made it like a dream come true. The cocktail hour and reception in the West Side Ballroom which had huge bay windows brought all the beauty of the outdoors inside. Our guests loved the food and the space. Having looked at wedding venues outside of Connecticut, our eyes really opened to find that there are many venues where EVERYTHING is a la carte. It made things soooo easy to find a space as beautiful as The Waterview where everything is included: tables, chairs, linen, cocktail hour, multi-course dinner (by the way, everyone thought the Asian Short Rib Salad was the main course!...nope, more food was coming!), open bar, wedding cake, bridal suite, wedding coordinator, bridal attendants, and more! They were also there to accommodate dietary restrictions and other personal needs for some of our guests. At the end of the night, they helped us gather our belongings and pack everything up including much leftover food. Colin kept things running on schedule and checked in with my husband and I throughout the event to make sure we were okay. It was a night to remember and the entire experience was more than we could have ever asked for!

The Waterview was an absolutely amazing venue for our wedding. From start to finish, they exceeded all expectations! In terms of the actual facility, the grounds are gorgeous, the facility is beautiful and kept in excellent condition, and the location and views are perfect! The planning process was very straightforward and everything was very clearly outlined. They are very transparent with their pricing and what is included, and never tried to push or sell us anything additional or had any hidden fees, which I know a lot of places try to do. The wedding package includes SO MUCH food — and the food is phenomenal! Our guests talked so highly of the food — many of them were blown away by how excellent the food was! Kat was our wedding coordinator and I cannot speak more highly of her! She is laid back but professional, knowledgable, and so helpful. She never got tired of me emailing her 100 questions and was able to answer all of them and accommodate a few special requests we had. She is absolutely amazing to work with and made our wedding day perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The best venue out there in CT
In 2019, my husband and I got married there and everything was perfect. April and Colin went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we wanted within our budget. A year later we needed to find a venue to hold a charity military ball and decided to go back to the Waterview. They AGAIN exceeded our expectations on all levels. The food, staff, professionalism, drinks and attentiveness of the coordinators (April and Kat) were incredible! Our guests are still raving about the venue and food so we decided to book the Waterview for the military ball next year! Thank you to the Waterview, Colin, April and Kat for everything you do to make each event perfect! We can't wait to work with you again in 2022!!

I don't know where to begin. The Waterview was absolutley outstanding. I married into a massive family that has had many weddings over the past decade. They unanimously raved that the Waterview was the best venue they had ever been in. The service and staff were top notch, the price was AFFORDABLE (I couldn't believe how affordable relative to how good it was), the location was gorgeous. Even the food was amazing. I can't tell you how many times I heard people tell me: "I can't believe we actually got good wedding food." 10/10.

Where do I even begin? There are no words to adequately describe the amount of gratitude my husband and I have for the Waterview and the entire amazing team. We booked our wedding in 2018, and we knew from the moment we walked through the doors, we had found our venue. It truly was the best decision we could have made. When COVID hit, April was extremely patient, understanding, and flexible. We ended up postponing three times and they made the difficult process so much easier for us. We finally got to celebrate our wedding on July 16, 2021. Thanks to the Waterview, it was absolutely worth the wait. Kat was are wedding coordinator and she made all of our dreams come true. She is a true professional and truly cares about her couples. I walked into the ballroom and immediately cried because of how amazing everything looked. We worked with Colin and Kathleen during the planning process and they were both extremely helpful and responsive. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and no details were forgotten. During the wedding itself the service was absolutely amazing, and the food and drinks were delicious! Always so Beautiful on The Water!
Thank you Waterview Team. Waterview was a beautiful place to get married. I couldn’t have been more happy. The weather was perfect and loved every moment there. The team makes everyone feel so comfortable. Kat, Colin and the Waterview team did an amazing job making everything perfect. I was able to feel relaxed knowing all my guest were taken care of and It was amazing knowing I was taken well care of every step of the way. Karen our officiant from Waterview did an amazing job. It was an amazing experience in every way. I really Loved the process from start to finish. Thank you for celebrating our beautiful wedding and putting together a surprise for the whole family. The Announcing of our baby girl was unforgettable. Thank you for pulling it off. It was so much fun! I got So Many Compliments on the Food, Service, Staff and over all how Beautiful the place was. That’s always the best feeling. Thank you

Highly recommend! Professional, kind, elegant and affordable.
“Congratulations on your engagement, when's the date and where?” Have to be the same sentence and questions in the same breath. This is the first and biggest (as well as priciest) decision to kick off your wedding planning.
The Waterview is a well oiled machine. Making sure your day is exactly how you envisioned. Marie and the entire team I've come into contact with have been extremely helpful throughout the entire process. These are the professionals here people! This beautifully decorated, spacious and clean, along with wonderful accommodations (food is exceptional and let's not forget the view of Lake!).
My review is lengthy because I want to take the time to help guide those who may be considering. Long story short, BOOK IT! Longer story below :)
My fiance and I viewed 3 total properties in-person. We were wowed by them all but we do have to say, The Waterview establishment was the first place we visited and THE PLACE for us to host the biggest day of our lives. The parking lot, is plenty. The million dollar view of Lake Zoar and panoramic view really excels this location. I wasn't looking for a water view in my reception location, but have to say, it was quite a 'wow' moment and gasp of well, now I NEED a lake to compliment my wedding venue. The chandeliers are extravagant as well as their tableware, chairs and flooring. I have to say I was also impressed by their beautiful wooden bar. Other than the dance floor, this is where a lot of friends and family gather to celebrate. At least my friends and family! The bar was spacious and very inviting. For all these reasons and more, we decided rather quickly, this was the spot for us. What really sealed the deal was their moderate pricing, which has so much value! It made this choice rather easy to make a confident decision.
Marie Bedoya was my point of contact and 'unofficial wedding planner.'
from the start of planning, to the next mile stone, to next steps Marie and team really kept us on schedule and organized. Marie was very flexible and had patience. I sent numerous emails and pictures along the way and she was very responsive through it all. I felt like she became family. To help execute and provide professional opinions to support our vision was really important to us. Marie and The Waterview team did just that.

Three weddings
I am a triplet, and all three of us got married at the Waterview. It is a beautiful venue and the coordinator is amazing! Colin is so friendly and professional. I would recommend this venue to any couple getting married.

The Waterview knocked it out of the park
We had looked at 12 venues before finding The Waterview on lucky number 13. We are from NJ but The Waterview popped up as an ad on google based on my previous searches. We were leaning towards a venue in PA when I saw the ad and I could not stop thinking about it. I decided to visit The Waterview myself to try to rule it out so I would not wonder if our wedding would have been better there if we chose another venue. I absolutely loved The Waterview and my fiance made the trip back up to CT with me the very next day to see it for himself. He agreed it was the perfect venue and exactly what we were looking for. Joanna and April in management were amazing from start to finish. Always willing to work with us on budget and to have our day be what we imagined. There were many venues we spoke to that were unwilling to make changes we may have wanted and The Waterview was so accommodating in comparison. We cannot thank them enough. We did have a vision for our day and we knew we wouldn't find another venue more in line with our vision than The Waterview. What we did not know at the time of our first visit is how incredible the staff would be. There are not enough words to describe how amazing the staff was, especially Kat- the wedding coordinator. I made several trips to The Waterview prior to our wedding to make sure that I had all the information I needed to ensure our wedding day ended up exactly how we had envisioned it. Each visit Kat and the other staff at The Waterview, including Karen and Wendy at the front desk, were so kind to me and never made me feel annoying or overbearing. The Wednesday Prior to our wedding day we brought most of our "stuff" to the venue and added some lights to the west garden area along with making sure the fabric I created for the arch was properly set up for the day of. It was HOT out. Kat helped us get the fabric on top of the 10 foot tall arch which for the first time was no small feat. We were and still are very appreciative because she did not have to do that at all. The day before the wedding at our rehearsal we were 40 minutes late due to some terrible traffic from NJ. Kat made sure everything went quickly and smoothly and got all of the information I didn't even realize we needed. She walked us through exactly what would happen and I felt confident that the day of it would be simple and easy. Our wedding day was the most perfect day and I truly believe that is thanks to the staff at The Waterview. Our vision really came to life and couldn't have been more in line with what we had envisioned. Our escort cards were in envelopes that the staff hung with mini clothes pins, each guest had a personalized menu and place card at their table, among countless other details planned for the day- all of which were executed perfectly by the staff. Amy and Erin were our amazing bridal attendants and they did not miss a beat. I did not travel to the bar even once as they got me everything I could possibly need and more! George, who was the coordinating assistant, was also amazing and helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. I received so many compliments on our wedding whether it was the amazing food, the intricate detail, the beauty of the venue, how smooth everything went and it is all thanks to The Waterview and their incredible staff. Quite a few people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Do yourself a favor and book The Waterview- you will not regret it and they will help make it the best day of your life.

Marie and the Waterview are amazing!!
Marie Bedoya (my coordinator) and the Waterview surpassed my expectations for my wedding. From the moment we met the first time, to when we arrived the day of the wedding until we drove away Marie and her attendants made sure it was the perfect day for us. Everything was beautiful, the food was delicious and i could've have asked for a better venue. Not to mention the price is very reasonable considering the great service and what is included. Also the location itself is beautiful for pictures.

Amazing wedding experience!
Colin at the waterview made our day run so smoothly. The venue was beautiful, our food and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. We received so many compliments because of all the work Colin and the team at the waterview did for us. We highly recommend the beautiful waterview.

Perfect day - truly lifesavers
We booked our original venue in July 2017 - over a year before the big day. Long story short, we had to find a new venue with just 10 weeks left. I called everywhere - and there just wasn't anything on 10/6/18. I knew I couldn't change the date - invitations were out and RSVPs were in. Vendors booked, etc. Turns out, they somehow had a cancelation on 10/6/18 and we booked there. I never expected to have such a storybook, perfect wedding day. Collin made every single vision come to life. Our guests still rave about the food service, drinks, setup and staff. They had small appetizers and drinks waiting for the guests as they arrived to the ceremony out by the water and then welcomed them in with an extraordinary cocktail hour, complete with premier chef's table, other foods and more drinks. Dinner was incredible - we chose the Salmon, Filet and Stuffed Acorn Squash - all were amazing. They have a top shelf bar selection and even accomodated two signature drinks. The ballroom was incredible - decorated perfectly. They executed each moment of the day from beginning to end with ease and we couldn't have been more pleased. I'd choose that venue again and again and recommend it to everyone I can. Thank you so much for making every single wedding dream of ours come true.

You guys, I can't even being to express how amazing Colin, our Wedding Coordinator, at The Waterview is... Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, with zero hiccups and I totally have Colin to thank for this!!! Every detail far exceeded my expectations! The food was exceptional, all of our guests have been raving about how good the food was. The two attendants helping Colin also went above and beyond for us... I forgot my bouquet at the end of the night, and they literally put it in a vase with water and then put it in the fridge to save it for me to pick up the next day.. Colin even made my husband and I a to-go container of extra food (which I also forgot to take home lol) but was saved for when I went back to pick everything up... If you are looking to get married in a beautiful location, with all inclusive services, and amazing staff absolutely schedule a tour with them ASAP! You won't regret it!

Beautiful venue, great staff!
It's a beautiful venue by the water, and all the staff members we met during our tour were so nice and had nothing but great things to say about each other, even the vendors that were setting up for weddings that morning! April was amazing and we were so happy to finally meet someone so sincere and gracious, and that was so accommodating regarding cultural customs that would need to happen on our day. We attended a showcase in the fall and it only confirmed how much we love the venue and the people...We've got a little while until the big day arrives, but my fiancé and I are so excited to being working with them!

Best Decision Ever
We held our wedding here on December 8th, 2018 and we are beyond thrilled with our experience at this venue. Every single interaction with sales, coordinators, and attendants has been nothing less than stellar through our 1+ year of planning with them.
From consultation to execution, every single person involved with our wedding has been attentive, helpful, and excited to be working with us. April M. was wonderful at our consultation and worked with us to make our dream wedding happen at our budget. From there, Kat U. was an all-star coordinator in planning every piece from start to finish. It was incredibly reassuring to have her as our coordinator and knowing she was taking care of everything we needed from napkins to meals and everything in between. On the day of our wedding, the Waterview team not only decorated our entire ceremony and reception with all of the details we provided, but they worked seamlessly with all of our vendors and ensuring we were set for our dream wedding. Angela, our bridal attendant was absolutely incredible. From steaming my wedding dress to following around myself and my now husband with food and drinks to ensure we were eating, she was beyond flawless. There was even another event happening at the same time as our wedding and nobody knew!
Our guests have continued to rave about the gorgeous venue, incredible food and drinks, and the staff at the Waterview everyday since our wedding, and we agree with their overwhelming sentiment! We simply cannot say enough about this venue and all of the staff. I even have friends from out of state who are already considering this venue for their wedding as they were that impressed. If you're looking for a venue for your wedding, seriously look no further than The Waterview. To all of the staff who helped us, we SO appreciate you and cannot thank you enough for making our special day all the more memorable with your impeccable service and kindness.

Amazing experience
The water view was the greatest experience with a vendor. They were super responsive with all my questions. I was the first bride in my family so I was a little clueless going into the entire process, but from booking my date to the very end, they were amazing to work with helping me every step of the way. My husbands and I’s family are both Italian so obviously the food was the most important thing, and I had EVERYONE raving about cocktail hour and dinner. The room was beautiful, the bar was amazing. I literally have not one single complaint

We got married at The Waterview on July 20, 2018. It was without a doubt the best day of our lives. Since the day we first met the staff, they were amazing. We had Kat as our coordinator and she was phenomenal. She handled any contact needed the day of with the vendors and had everything set up perfectly the day of. We had our dog walk down the isle as a secret/surprise which was flawless due to Kat's perfection to detail. The food and entire staff the day of the wedding was amazing. We really couldn't have picked a better venue. To The Waterview staff - Thank you for making our wedding day the best day of our lives! We definitely recommend you to give them a chance to make it yours!

We got married here on 7/8/18 and I wish I could give more stars! The Waterview was that good. Our event coordinator, Kat, was so knowledgeable and attentive. She helped us with everything from picking our cake to coordinating the set up of all our reception details. Every bride wants a stress free wedding planning experience and wedding day - ours was exactly that because of Kat and the other staff at the Waterview! They made sure the day ran smoothly, the food and drink were delicious and that every guest was happy. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they've been to! The bridal attendants were also fabulous.. they coordinated with our other vendors to be sure our dinner came out at a time we could eat at least a few bites, made sure we always had drinks in our hand, and made it their priority to give us the best day ever. Our day was perfect and if there were any hiccups, we didn't even know about them! We can't thank the Waterview enough for making our dream wedding a reality.

We got married at the Waterview on 6/2/18 and we could not have loved it more! The venue itself is beautiful. We were really hoping for an outdoor wedding, but had to have it moved inside due to weather. Honestly, it didn't even matter. Both ceremony spaces are gorgeous. The service, food, and organization of the event were impeccable. My event coordinator Kat was a life saver. She always answered my emails promptly, even if my question was kind of silly. She took every change I made leading up to the wedding in stride, and on the day of she was super on top of everything. My bridal attendants (Jane and Amy) were equally amazing. They coordinated when we would get our meals, boxed up leftovers for us, made sure we and our wedding party had drinks, and even fanned me off when I had to take a break from pictures outside because it was so humid! They were the best. I didn't get a chance to meet them, but I heard from guests that the bartenders were excellent. Friendly and quick to make drinks. I can't thank Kat and her team enough for making my wedding so special!

I could not have chosen a better venue for my wedding day. Everything was absolutely beautiful and the staff was excellent. My guests raved about the food and location. Absolutely would recommend the Waterview to anyone! We had our marriage and reception on 1/6/18 at the Waterview; a winter wedding on the coldest night of the (maybe decade) year. We had a flawless experience from beginning to end! Kat was absolutely amazing - I had so many questions throughout and she was so attentive and receptive to all of them! Everything went smoothly, all our decorations were exactly the way I envisioned; the food was amazing, and all of our guests had a wonderful time! I had absolutely nothing to worry about the whole day and night..they took care of everything! I could not recommend Kat & her team at the Waterview enough!

The Waterview was definitely the right choice for our October 2017 wedding. The staff there is incredible and at the top of their game. They caught printing errors on some of our napkins and one of our attendants even walked a nervous flower girl all of the way down the aisle. They made sure that our wedding ran smoothly from start to finish and were so easy to work with through all of the planning beforehand. The food was absolutely delicious and the ice cream and grilled cheese stations were a big hit! We would recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I had the unfortunate luck of being impacted by the fire at St. Clement’s Castle Marina. After going through the grueling task of venue searching I was ready to give up. My husband found The Waterview online and we did a virtual tour and I was IN LOVE! I called that night and spoke with Joanna who informed me that our date was available! (We were only 3 months from our wedding when the fire happened). We came in and toured the venue and I was immediately sold. Not only did they have our data available, they worked with us on pricing to match what we originally had and let me tell you - our guests still can’t stop raving about the food and the venue! I also had the pleasure of working with Colin and our planner. He was absolutely amazing. Throughout the whole planning process he was always there to answer all my questions. On the day of the event he was there to ensure we were okay and direct our guests where they needed to be. Absolutely the best day of my life. Thank you to all the staff that made our day perfect! We highly recommend Colin and team for doing such a tremendous job.

We got married at the Waterview on 9/30/17 and everything was absolutely perfect. We worked with April to secure our date and sign our contract, and she was so pleasant and easy to work with. Colin was our wedding coordinator and he was amazing as well. He was so quick to respond to questions and was so helpful on the day of our wedding. Everyone at the Waterview did such a great job - we brought a ton of decorations and they set everything up perfectly. The food and drinks were amazing, our guests could not stop raving about all the food at cocktail hour and the meals. The cake was also delicious. Everything about the waterview made our day great - it was seamless and we didn't have to worry about anything. I would highly highly recommend.

I am only two weeks away from my wedding and wish I could do it all over again! The Waterview staff was amazing, Colin our wedding planner went above and beyond. Every little detail was exactly how we wanted it and all my guests said how wonderful and beautiful the reception was. Colin was simply amazing. From the moment, we decided to go on a tour, we knew that The Waterview would be the ideal and perfect location. Colin Melita was amazing when it came to making sure that everything would run smoothly. Not only was he and the staff responsive to our needs prior to the wedding during the planning process, the day of the wedding was simply magical. Colin made sure from the minute, I ( the bride) arrived that my bridal suite and everything would be all set up and meet and exceed all of our expectations. Right before the wedding, our bridal assistant Jason was amazing and made sure that we were all set and ready to go. The ceremony was perfect and ran incredibly smoothly. From the minute we walked down the aisle as a newly married couple, Colin was at the end of the aisle with a tray of champagne to hand out to the bridal party. It was such a sweet and genuine gesture. Colin was amazing, I cannot put into words how fantastic our day ran because of him and the staff at the Waterview. He made sure that we had all the cocktail hour appetizers and drinks brought outside to the bridal party taking pictures. He made sure that we had our drinks full and our plates full ( even though I- the bride- could hardly eat with all of the overwhelming love the day brought). If there was something wrong that day, we had NO idea because everything was perfect. We, alongside our families, are eternally grateful and appreciative of the Waterview and the entire staff especially Colin for making our day so perfect and special. It has been almost a month and a half since our wedding and people are still talking about how amazing the food, the room, the ceremony and the desserts were! ( Helpful Bride Tip: GET the Viennese table, it was to die for and the guests couldn't have enough!) This is the place to get married or have any large event.

Our wedding at the Waterview was nothing short of perfection. We visited over 10 locations in Connecticut before choosing the Waterview for the big day. We were instantly in love with the beautiful serene outdoor setting, the incredibly accommodating and warm staff and stunning reception area. The views from the windows in the reception area are truly spectacular. Many wedding venues do not offer a satisfactory indoor wedding reception option in case of rain, but the Waterview has a beautiful garden room that would still make your wedding feel magical. Joanna (the general manager) was so helpful and accommodating from our very first visit. Many venues we visited were very strict and unwilling to make small accommodations, while the Waterview would bend over backwards to make sure our wedding was exactly how we wanted it to be. While the Waterview does not offer a formal tasting, their showcase they host for couples was fun and delicious, and very representative of the food served at our wedding. Our wedding coordinator Kat was always responsive via email, and was a calm steady presence on the day of our wedding. I can truly say that our wedding day was flawless thanks to the efforts of everyone at the venue, with every one my carefully crafted details receiving the personal attention it deserved. The food was delicious with generous portions, and my guests were lining up to eat at our ice cream dessert bar. My husband and I are so sad the wedding is over because we wish we could eat the food again! We are both so grateful to the Waterview, Kat and the staff for making our wedding picture perfect.

I was lucky enough to hold my ceremony and reception at the Waterview this past January. From the moment we met with Joanna for the initial tour, until the flawlessly executed wedding day with my event coordinator, Colin Melita, we were so well taken care of and our guests are still raving about the wedding details and the food!
We had about a month to secure a place and fell in love with the Waterview as soon as we saw it-- and how could you not-- it's beautiful. Since our final guest count was about 225, we used one half of the Grand Ballroom for our ceremony and the other for our reception. We saw quite a few venues that would cram people into one section with hardly any room between the tables or between each seating arrangement, but that was not a concern for us here. The Waterview was so accommodating with our lack of time, and worked with us to help us pull off the short-notice planning.
A special shout out to my bridal attendants, who were constantly making sure we were eating and hydrated enough throughout the day. Being that the wedding was in January, they even came out in the cold with us during pictures, holding my coat so I could warm up between shots! A big thank you to my attendants-- Christina and Genny-- you guys are amazing :)
There's one more thing I can't help but mention. I have an uncle who is on a very strict diet, and as soon as I mentioned this to Colin, I was asked where he would be seated and was assured that he would be completely taken care of. The family told me that they received the best service compared to any other wedding they've been to. This, among other compliments I received about the food and the service, went to show that the staff at the Waterview do an exceptional job and go above and beyond to ensure that your wedding (or any other event) goes smoothly. The Waterview and all of their staff are absolutely outstanding. We had our winter wedding here on 1/14/2017 and I could not have imagined the day going any better. We knew after our first visit that this was our venue. The water views and beautiful windows throughout make this venue absolutely gorgeous at any time of year, but it made our snowy wedding day just perfect being able to watch the snow fall over the lake throughout the reception. Our wedding coordinator Kat was fantastic and made us feel comfortable and excited at every stage of our planning. I was living in Texas for work and was having to plan our entire wedding over the phone and via emails. Kat made this a seamless and stress free process. She was so accommodating and kept me on schedule during each phase of planning. She worked with our travel schedule to make sure we had in person meetings whenever possible and made our day absolutely amazing. On the day of the wedding we had nothing to worry about and Kat took care of everything. From working with our vendors to keeping our timeline on schedule, she covered it all. We also had two outstanding bridal attendants, George and Jenny who made the day even sweeter. They were troopers and even stood outside to help me with my dress for our snowy bridal party pictures! Kat, George and Jenny made sure that my husband and I, and all of our guests were comfortable and having fun all night long. At the end of the night they had all of our items boxed up and ready to hand off to us. The night went off without a hitch and it was a dream come true. We still have guests raving about the beauty, food, cake, and service that this venue offers. I HIGHLY recommend The Waterview for your wedding or event. The staff is fantastic and it was an experience I will always cherish. Thank you!!

Absolutely fantastic place to have a wedding from the beauty of the site to the wonderful staff on hand, I cant recommend a better place for a wedding. Sue was our wedding coordinator and she was just wonderful, she made the day go smoothly and helped us throughout the entire planning process. We planned the wedding from CA and so she was very helpful in making us feel at ease and scheduling meetings when we were in the area so that we could have a smooth wedding. The other staff members who were part of our day were just amazing as well they made sure we had everything we wanted and needed and our wedding went great! I would recommend the Waterview for anyone thinking of doing their wedding there!

We are thrilled to have our ceremony and reception at the Waterview. Kat was our event planner and she was fantastic. We planned our event from Virginia, so we really appreciated Kat's responsiveness over email -- and during those scant times in which she was unavailable, other Waterview staffed stepped in to help.
The ceremony site is beautiful and the reception venue has a wonderful view of the water, as you might expect from the venue's name. The food was phenomenal -- we had many guests remark how great the appetizers, antipasti, chicken piccata, prime rib, and vegetarian dish were. The bride is vegetarian, so they made her a custom dish (the chef even reached out beforehand to discuss specifics over email, which was a wonderful touch). Other guests who ordered the vegetarian dish remarked that it was the best vegetarian dish they ever had at a wedding.
Kat was very flexible as well -- we had some last-minute requests 24 hours before the wedding such as adjusting seating (sick guests cancelled) and all the requests were accommodated with a smile. We had George and Talia as our bridal attendants on the day of the wedding. They both were fantastic and helped keep us on schedule. When the bridal party had to make an emergency dress repair, Talia even whipped out some scissors to help out. We couldn't have been more pleased with the Waterview. My grandfather mentioned several times that the staff was very professional and greeted everyone with kindness, so that's another star in my book. Thanks!

I can not say enough amazing things about the Waterview. My husband and I were married 8/6/16. Kat, my Event Manager, answered all my questions in a timely manner. She helped us make our wedding perfect, the way we imagined it. The staff of the Waterview were professional. They all went above and beyond when it rained 15 minutes before my ceremony. They dried the ceremony space and pulled off a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The ballroom is simply stunning. The food is delicious. The tea light candles on the tables create a romantic feel. My husband is a big fan of craft beers, we were able to bring in beer and the bar served it. Our bridal attendants kept us hydrated and happy. The outdoor space is simply stunning, it is a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. We received a lot of wonderful feedback from the guests about the venue. I wish i could relive this night all over again!!

I just had my dream wedding at the Waterview! From the moment we went on a tour there ever staff member was beyond accommodating. I first toured the Waterview when there was 3 feet of snow outside and I couldn't see the lake. Even at the moment I knew this place was beautiful. The views at the Waterview on Lake Zoar are breathtaking and is the perfect backdrop for your fairytale wedding.
The Waterview gives you a wedding coordinator that helps you through the whole process. We had Sue and she was beyond amazing. She has so much energy, and walks you through the entire process. Sue and her team do all the setup for you and make sure that everything is exactly where you want it! During the day she makes sure that everything runs smoothly and checks in with you to make sure everything is going as you want it. She also comes over to you and makes sure that you go eat! Which, thank you Sue! The rack of lamb was beyond amazing, and we were busy talking and not eating. Sue came over to us and got us to our sweetheart table, and I am so glad she did! The food from the cocktail hour, the salads, the meal and dessert were really good! Best food I have ever had at a wedding!
You also get bridal attendents! Talia and Alec were so helpful to us! From the moment you get to the Waterview they have food setup for you in the bridal sweet and they are ready to get drinks for you! Talia helped me to bustle my dress, and while we were taking pictures she also was walking around with us to give us water and drinks along the way. Even right before the ceremony I was so hungry that she was able to get me some cocktail hour food before I walked down the aisle. They were there throughout the entire day to make sure we had drinks at the sweetheart table, and that we had everything that we needed. The Waterview is honestly the perfect place for your fairytale wedding! The views are amazing, the ceremony space is breathtaking, and every staff member there is accommodating!

We had our wedding on 2/14/16 at The Waterview. Our event planner Colin and The Waterview staff were beyond AMAZING! From the minute we arrived Colin was helping to make the day a success! He did everything to take the stress off of us and make it a perfect day! The venue is gorgeous! The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and inviting! The Waterview is affordable and elegant - two things you don't often find in the same place. They went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. We walked in Waterview and new this was the place! From the moment we walked in the people were so kind and helpful. The grounds are just beautiful. We put the deposit down and signed a contract within days. Everyone we have worked with so far as been great. They have a gorgeous venue and the customer service matches!

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful our wedding was and I know choosing The Waterview as our ceremony and reception venue had a very large part in its success. Every single staff member was professional, helpful, kind, attentive. Just wonderful. They were prepared for anything.
I gave them a massive cart of decorations and when I returned on wedding day I was so pleased and surprised at the decor placement. it was perfect. Sue was our wedding coordinator. She was on point with EVERYTHING! I loved her. I actually miss her. Even the bridal suite attendant who was a dude knew how to bustle my dress. Guests are still talking about how great the food was. I ate my cake top immediately after the wedding and days later. It was so delicious I could not wait a year to eat it. The entire night ran so smoothly and i did not have to worry about a thing. They are prepared for everything and know weddings inside out and backwards. WORTH EVERY PENNY! You wont be disappointed.

The Waterview far surpassed our expectations! They were incredibly professional and ran like a well-oiled machine. Sue, the maitre'D was unbelievable. I knew immediately that we were safe in her hands. Throughout the night, people kept saying how calm my husband and I both were, and it's all due to the professionalism, organization, and talented team at the Waterview. We had two bridal attendants Talia and Angela, who were both wonderful all night. The venue is beyond gorgeous with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a beautiful lake. Getting married around Christmas, we were blessed with beautiful, tasteful, Christmas decorations to add to our winter wedding feel. The food was great, and service was executed wonderfully. We cannot speak more highly of the beauty and professionalism of the Waterview.

The Waterview was the only venue that we visited but we fell in love and booked it on the spot. Looking back, we could not have made a better choice for our venue!
Kat was amazing to work with and very quick to answer all of my questions throughout the planning process.
The wedding night was flawless thanks to the entire staff at the Waterview. Our bridal attendants were amazing and by our side all night. They even sent us home with some of the leftover hors d'oeuvres that my husband loved! Even small details like packing up at the end of the night was quick and easy because they were on top of every detail.
Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the ceremony and reception spaces were, and how amazing the food was. We cannot thank the Waterview staff enough for making our wedding a dream come true!

The Waterview was an AMAZING venue for our reception. We wed in November and got off season prices. It was BEYOND worth it. There was still fall foliage on the lake. The Garden Room on the lower level was perfect for cocktail hour. Our guests RAVED about the food (butternut squash soup, artichoke dip and fresh bread, chicken wings, turkey meatballs, mini mac-n-cheeses, etc... The day of crew worked side by side with the wedding planner two hours before the reception to ensure decor was set up and they allowed us to store all of our decor on site three days before the wedding. The four course meal was a huge hit as well (especially the salmon with corn and the NYC steak) but it was our extras that made the night - chocolate fountain with a VAST array of dipping foods (fruit, cake pops, pretzels, cookies, etc...) and the sweet station which included brownies, mini cheesecake, cake pops, mini fruit tarts, etc... Waterview - for an extra charge - has a wall lights feature that sets the tone and ambiance in the room. Finally, our Waterview planner/coordinator was AMAZING - helpful, experienced, insightful, hardworking and willing to make the day AMAZING. Excellent service. PS We had a 300 person wedding, it was worth every penny!

Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true! The planning process with our coordinator, Sue, was fun and stress-free. She even took the time to have an extra meeting with me about a month before the wedding just to go through everything again so I felt relaxed about the day. I am still in awe of the amazing experience of having my wedding at the Waterview. The staff at the Waterview were professional, responsive to my needs, and overall, genuinely friendly people. The day of my wedding was absolutely perfect and I thank the Waterview team for a wonderful day. They did everything they said they were going to do and made a very stressful day significantly less stressful for me. The food was excellent and bountiful. The outdoor spaces were manicured and well-maintained. Every time that I visited the Waterview before my wedding, the staff were always doing something to improve the appearance of the grounds or the building. I loved all the staff at the waterview, we had an issue with meeting our minimum number and April re-did our contract to a number we were able to meet.
Colin was our event coordinator and he was amazing if anything went wrong I never knew about it which I really appreciated. He always made sure the bridal party had water, drinks and food. At the end of the night we had forgotten a few items and he put them all together at the front so they could be picked up. And the chef was so nice I had a moment of almost fainting and he brought me into the big freezer to cool down ( I don't many people who would have done that) so a huge thank you to him for helping me and not letting me faint lol

AMAZINGGGGG! So pleased with this venue from start to finish! ALL staff was incredible to work with! They are all extremely friendly and really work with you to make your day stress free and beautiful. This venue comes with the whole package...cake included, beautiful summer flowers decorated the alter, table settings including centerpieces, seating chart and seating cards all included! Once we booked, basically all we had to do was find a dj, photographer and florist for the bridal bouquets. The whole night ran so smoothly and they really took care of you throughout the night! Honestly, I cannot rave enough about our experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The venue and grounds were stunning. The food was delicious. Everyone kept telling us how amazing everything was - from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to dinner and to the end of the night when they served hamburgers and fries (recommended!) Our wedding coordinator, Sue, was incredible. I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing she was. She did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed our day. Their package is fantastic (open bar, cake, table numbers, items to use for centerpieces, etc included in price). Honestly, our wedding was the fairy tale I hoped it would be and we owe it to Sue and the amazing staff at the Waterview.

I cannot say enough good things about The Waterview and all of the staff. We fell in love with this venue the very first time we saw it. From the first day the staff was helpful, kind, informative, professional.... We knew right away that we wanted to celebrate our wedding in this beautiful place. Sue was our coordinator and she was so wonderful to work with throughout the whole wedding process. She was quick to answer any questions we had and was so accommodating to our needs and requests. The night of the wedding was perfect--everything went so smoothly. There was not one moment throughout the entire night that we needed something and there wasn't someone a few feet away. The two attendants we had were right there the whole evening asking us what we needed and checking in on us. Sue was there the entire time also making sure everything was going smoothly and that we had everything we needed.
If you're looking for a professional and breathtaking venue with amazing views, look no further than The Waterview. We had a fantastic experience with them and have not one negative thing to say about it. (Family that we had from Spain couldn't stop raving about how beautiful everything was)!

I cannot even begin to describe how perfect our wedding reception was at The Waterview!! It was everything we wanted and more! The staff was absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed!! I always had so many questions, but our wedding coordinator Kathleen was always incredibly helpful! Our guests raved about the food and the atmosphere. And I could not have imagined a more beautiful wedding cake! Also, the sundae bar was spectacular!

Though my wedding was last June and I'm just getting to my reviews now, guests are STILL talking about the fantastic time they had at my wedding. Much of that was due to the wonderful staff at the Waterview. The food was phenomenal, the service was great, and the temperature was on point (they had just installed new A/C units about a month or so before my wedding). This venue is one of the nicest around and my husband and I were big fans of the layout. While there could be 2 weddings going on at once, each wedding party has its own wing where the guests don't every need to co-mingle, not even to use the bathroom. That's one of the things we really liked. Plus, it has great views of the water which was nice for some of our pictures. The day of my wedding was very humid and it was rainy so by the time I got to the Waterview my hair was not looking so hot. Then, from out of nowhere, Kat showed up with the thing that saved the day for my hair - a flat iron! Needless to say that's just one story among many that night where the staff exemplified great service. My husband and I were very happy that we went with the Waterview as were our guests.

The Waterview was the perfect place for our wedding. After considering many venues in the southern CT area, there is no doubt that it is a great value for the service you receive. I felt taken care of by our wedding coordinator, Kat, our day of bridal attendants, and everyone else I interacted with from start to finish. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was very helpful. The facility is also beautiful and the food was quite good. The Waterview is a great choice especially if you're looking for a more all-inclusive wedding venue experience.

The Waterview did an amazing job with our 240-guest wedding from beginning to end. They impressed us right off the bat when they let us try appetizers on our first visit to the Waterview. After looking around the gorgeous grounds, we were sold. Kat was our wedding coordinator, and I can't say enough about her. She was sharp, helpful, funny, patient, and honest, and she helped us make some of the final decisions about the food, which was an important to me. In the end, the food was amazing! Everyone raved about the filet mignon, and the swordfish was perfectly cooked. The staff at the Waterview was 100% on it when it came to every detail. If my mom needed something specific out of her bag, someone ran to get it. When a guest had to leave early, they gave him a doggy bag so he could take his meal to go. When I asked for extra water at the sweetheart table, they got me 4 glasses. I cannot say enough good things about The Waterview and could not be happier about our decision to have our wedding there.

The Waterview was amazing. The staff was so outgoing, helpful, and polite. They made it so we could relax and enjoy a great day and they took care of everything. They are truly first class.

This review actually took my a long time to start writing because I don't think words can describe how amazing The Waterview is! I was a very nervous bride but Kat and the rest of the Waterview employees made our wedding day SO amazing. They took care of absolutely everything and made it so I could relax and enjoy the day! They seemed to have answers to all my questions before I could ask them! ALL of my guests had nothing but compliments about the venue and its employees and I honestly can't think of one thing I would improve. Thank you for making our day so amazing!

I had a wonderful time at my wedding. The staff was very helpful and they were always right there whenever I needed anything. The view was amazing and the food was great. I had such a good time!

From the beginning the Waterview made our wedding stress free. Colin was patient and kind. They made sure we were happy with everything and that we were taken care of the entire night. Neither my husband or myself had an empty glass the whole night (water or alcohol it didn't matter) and he made sure our bridal party and immediate family had everything they needed.

We had our wedding at The Waterview. Neither of us had ever been there before but we heard great things. Kathleen was our coordinator and she was fantastic. She responded to ALL of my emails promptly and professionally, she made all the many changes I requested and never made me feel like I was a bother or a crazy bride, which I know I was at times. She was very professional and knew a lot about The Waterview and the food and policies. The food was delicious!! I was nervous about it since we didn't have a tasting but all our guests are still talking about how much food there was and what a great quality it was. The two attendants we had in the bridal sweet were PHENOMENAL! I wish I could remember their names but, during cocktail hour at least one attendant was with me the whole time, but not to the point of being annoying, she remained at a close distance. They both got us drinks while taking pictures outside and brought appetizers outside to us. They even took care of getting our parents drinks and appetizers. During the reception I don't think there was a single time that either one of us did not have a drink. They were really the best you could ask for. They offered to help bustle my dress and help me with anything I needed which was great because it gave my bridal party the opportunity to enjoy themselves and not have to follow me around everywhere. The venue is gorgeous which is deceiving from the outside, the grounds are beautiful and the room is spacious. The one thing I found not so great was the seating program. It's a computer program and you have to manually enter all of your guest in and seat them at the tables. I had a hard time with this because we made last minute changes which I thought saved and the day of the wedding I noticed tables were in the wrong spots and there weren't enough chairs at specific tables so guests seemed to have to just find an open spot. This could just be my error. Overall I'm very satisfied with this venue.

I was married at The Waterview in 2004 when it was first built and then returned 10 years later to celebrate my 10 year Anniversary there. It was still Beautiful and Perfect! The staff was Amazing! I had some pretty intricate details that I wanted done. I walked in and all my ideas were done to Perfection. The coordinators were attentive and kind. My guest described it as the best night they've ever had! I was and am so happy with how my evening went!

Hubby and I can't say enough good things about The Waterview. First, April McBride was so kind as to work with us on our very tight budget. She gave us an amazing deal and because of her we were able to have our dream wedding on the water. They give you one price per person that includes a comprehensive package which makes wedding planning so much easier! It includes customized, decorated delicious wedding cake made on premise, Event Coordinator for planning in the days and months before the wedding AND managing everything on the day, bridal attendants waiting on you and taking care of you the day of, top shelf open bar, linens, and three course delicious plated meal! We just couldn't believe everything that we got for once price! We had Colin Melita as our Event Coordinator and he was so awesome! So relaxed and calm which helped put us at ease. Both him and April always responded to my one million emails very quickly! He also went above and beyond at the wedding, coming to the rescue with ointment and painkillers when hubby was suddenly stung by a bee, packing up all our stuff for us including ceramic wrap to safely preserve our sand ceremony sand, re-doing our table name frames so that they looked more elegant than when I brought them to him feeling all frazzled and stressed. Colin was so wonderful and we were really glad that he was our Coordinator. He offered to put our food in the warmer when he noticed we were too busy to eat and brought it back out when we were finally able to sit and eat. It was such a pleasure having our wedding there. The food and wedding cake was absolutely delicious. The grounds were beautiful and perfect. And the day-of coordination was spectacular - walkie talkies to coordinate, someone to fluff your dress for you as you walk down the aisle, champagne and food for us and the bridal party. We HIGHLY recommend The Waterview! If they don't have your date available, change your date! Then ask for April McBride and Colin Melita!

Staff was attentive, friendly and professional. Food was delicious and portions were great. They did a beautiful job with the cake and even reused the ceremony flowers for the tables. The venetian table and coffee and cordial bar was a huge hit! Everything went smoothly, looked great and our guests all raved about the venue. Staff even carried our things out to the car at the end of the night. It was a great day

The Waterview was an excellent venue! The service was fantastic at all times. They accommodated our rehearsal starting pretty late as we waited for out of town participants to arrive and catered to every whim of my bridal party the whole wedding day. I truly felt taken care of by my bridal attendants until the very last minute. One even helped me change out of my shoes and in to sandals at the end of the reception. I didn't have to worry about anything regarding the venue all day long.

I recently got married on September 26th of this year. My husband and I had our ceremony at the church I grew up in located in Trumbull, CT and our reception was held at the Waterview in Monroe, CT. The Waterview is absolutely beautiful, which was one of the main reasons that we chose it for our reception venue. They offer wedding packages, which includes items that normally you would need to provide yourself or have outsourced at other reception venues. In my opinion, for what the Waterview provides, they are very reasonably priced as well. Our wedding package included our choice of six butler passed Hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour, a five hour open bar service inclusive of premium brand liquor, selected white and red wines, domestic and imported beer, and sparkling beverages, bottles of a red and white wine on each guest table, lavish displays of cheeses, seasonal fruits and dips, a four course sit down dinner or you could opt for a buffet option instead, a multi-tiered wedding cake with dozens of options to customize it to your liking, a champagne toast, table linens and napkins in dozens of color options, a personal wedding event coordinator, a private bridal suite staffed with two bridal attendants and refreshments, seating cards, directional cards, table numbers, centerpieces of hurricanes and votive candles, if desired. Our event coordinator was extremely professional, responsive and very flexible to all of our wedding needs. She made it easy for us to feel less stressed and taken care of. The Waterview's food and wedding cake was exceptional and it was the best food I have ever had at any wedding thus far (and trust me, I have been too dozens of weddings and I am also not being biased just because this was my wedding!). I would HIGHLY recommend the Waterview for anyone getting married in the CT area!!
