The most beautiful barn!!!
This venue.... WOW! It was absolutely stunning. Everything about it was beautiful and I could not have been happier with it!! The service from start to finish was grand as well. We loved Andrea!!! The bridal cottage was the perfect place to get ready, the drive up to the barn is gorgeous, and the ceremony spots to choose from are ALL amazing! I am still in love with it, and would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married!

Gorgeous, rustic elegance, and private
I was thrilled the minute I drove onto the property of this venue! Although there are many “barn” venues, this was the most unique one I’d seen. I loved how although it was rustic, it was also very elegant with its high ceilings and decor. I loved the versatility. For example, we used the outdoor screened porch for a s’more bar. The space allows for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. The lake and surrounding scenery is breathtaking. What stood out to me most was the privacy of the barn. I visited other venues and many of them were right on a busy road. At Walter’s, this is not the case. The seclusion allows for such a peaceful, beautiful ceremony! I am so grateful to the Walter’s Barn for making my wedding day more perfect than I could’ve imagined!

Absolutely loved this venue! It was everything I wanted and my wedding went so smooth. I will say if you don’t do a package, it makes things a little more difficult. But besides that it was great, the staff and my coordinator Kirstin were amazing! Highly recommend!

Fairytale of my dreams

We had our wedding at Walters Barn 11/13/2021. This venue is STUNNING. It will take your breath away as soon as you walk into the barn. I do not remember how I found this venue but I just remember receiving an email from them one day with details on the venue. As soon as my husband and I looked at the pictures, we immediately fell in love. The scenery surrounding the barn is BEAUTIFUL and I am so glad we picked the perfect weekend for our wedding because the trees were the perfect fall color. The barn is also so spacious and can hold quite a few guests. We had plenty of room to talk, eat, and dance. One of my favorite things about the venue is the fireplace. We had a s’mores bar for our guests, which was so cool. I don’t regret one second for having our wedding at Walters Barn. Soirées Southern Events knows how to create the most dreamy wedding there!

An incredible experience
We were looking for that rustic country wedding feel that was also all inclusive. The Walters Barn provided that for us. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the people who are associated with it are incredible. We were so lucky to have Becca as our coordinator. She was always so responsive and made the entire planning process a breeze! We cannot thank her enough for how perfectly our day went and the amazing memories we made. Overall amazing
Perfect venue for our special day! Alison and Ellen were absolutely amazing and made my vision come to life! The barn is stunning and I received so many compliments from guests. Not only did they love the venue but commented on how smoothly everything ran! They know what they are doing and make the whole process stress free! We had such an amazing time! I wasn’t a huge fan of the bridal suite (needs updating) but no worries, we stayed at the Ava house bed and breakfast and it was perfect!! I would highly recommend the Walters barn to any bride!

Great place to get married!
The Walters Barn is a wonderful place to get married! The venue is beautiful (we loved the character of the farm, animals, etc) and the staff is so great! Everyone we worked with was so helpful and made the day run so smoothly. Becca was awesome (I couldn't have done it without her)! All of the staff is great and all of the vendors are great as well. We didn't have a single bad experience and if you are on the fence, you should definitely go with Walters!

I would choose The Walters Barn again!
This venue was an absolute dream come true! We got married in October by the lake and had our reception in the barn. I knew I was going to like this venue based off of the pictures and reviews I has already seen but seeing this simple elegance in person just took my breath away and sealed the deal. I fell in love! Soirees Southern Events gets a huge shoutout as well (especially Andrea and Susan) because they helped my vision come into fruition. The all inclusive package is the way to go!

Andrea was my wedding coordinator and she is absolutely incredible. She’s been planning weddings for a while so she definitely knows her stuff. Soirees Southern Events did all of the decorating and flowers for us and I cannot get over how beautiful it turned out. They also have amazing vendors that they use regularly and they were all so sweet and answered ALL mine and my mom’s questions. I can’t say enough great things about the venue as well as everyone who works there. I have also been told that my wedding was the best wedding they’ve been to. People are still talking about how beautiful everything was and how amazing the food and cake was. I could NOT have put any of this together without Andrea and her girls. Thank you so much for making my day so wonderful and I will forever recommend them!

I got married at the Walters Barn this December and I simply could not have done it without soirees southern events. I am the oldest in my family and the first to get married so I had so many questions. Sherri was amazing from coordinating to helping with decor. My wedding day was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have done it without her.

The entire staff was fantastic. Allison was a huge part of our big day, and she stayed in touch with us the entire 2 years that we had been waiting to get married, including a moment where we had made the mistake of trying to have the wedding on family land. Walters Barn and the Soirees staff were excellent to work with. They had the whole wedding experience mapped out for us and we just had to choose between the options they had already put together. Most everything was provided in the package we chose and they even gave us a list of little things we might want to buy that were not included. Truly, this was a stress free wedding experience for all. Flowers, food, venue, staff were all top notch and very affordable.

I chose The Walters Barn because I loved the simple elegance of the barn and knew it was exactly the look I wanted. When I was touring I met with Allison who I just clicked with right away! I cannot say enough good things about the Walter's Barn and the Soirees staff. The planning process went so smooth thanks to Andrea. She was great with suggestions, ideas, and guiding me step by step on things that needed to be done. She was seriously a lifesaver! The wedding day went perfectly as well. I didn't have a thing to worry about because Andrea and Rebecca had everything under control.
Also, the florals were AMAZING. Sherri is so talented. I have no knowledge on florals, so I showed her pictures of what I liked and they turned out beautiful! Better than I imagined.
I wish I could re-live our wedding day a thousand times because it was such an awesome day, thanks to all of the hard work from these ladies. Recommend 10/10!

The Walters Barn far exceeded every expectation we had for our early February wedding! We were highly reccomend them to everyone! From the very beginning of the process every member of the staff was incredibly helpful, and we were able to plan our dream wedding at this beautiful venue in less than 5 months! Choosing the all inclusive package was the best decision we could have made! Our wonderful planner, Madelyn, made every aspect of planning our wedding incredible fun and easy! She was always willing to answer our questions and help us in any way she could. The day of coordination was perfect, and the staff made sure that every aspect of our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day went off without a hitch. The florals and decor were stunning, and were one of our favorite things about our day. Sherri perfectly captured what we were invisioning for our wedding day, and our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful everything was. The quality of every aspect of our wedding was insurmountable and we could not be happier!! A dream come true!
Our wedding day was a complete dream come true all thanks to the Walters Barn! We couldn’t have asked for a better day! I can remember my husband and I being so worried and so stressed out the day before our big day and everything turned out completely perfect! All that time we spent stressed and worried for nothing! The staff is so organized and so on top of things. They handle everything! Everybody there is so wonderful but Andrea is literally my angel! I can remember texting her all hours of the day and not a hour went by that she didn’t respond back. Every bride needs a coordinator she can reach out to at any given time and Andrea was ALWAYS there!!! She was always helping me with planning and giving me ideas, sending me decor pictures, even helping me out with picking music.. EVERYTHING! My husband and I are so sad our wedding day is over because we miss it so much and everyone at the Walters Barn who was a part of it. Everyone there did whatever it took to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be. We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful venue to say our “I do’s” or a better group of people to be a part of our special day. You all have made our wedding a day we will never forget and we cannot thank you enough!

Breathtaking barn and property
The Walters Barn has much more to offer than just a barn. The property was seriously breathtaking. Our photos came out amazing because of the different natural scenes the property has. The farm animals made it 10 times better. If you're looking for a rustic and romantic place to say I Do to your forever person, this is DEFINITELY the place to do it!

We are SO in love with The Walters Barn. Since day one, it was so easy to plan our wedding. The Soirees Staff saw my vision and made my dream wedding come true. They took care of EVERYTHING. I wasn’t stressed about anything. When I walked into the barn on our wedding day, I was completely blown away! Our wedding setup was absolutely beautiful. The barn and every corner of the property is stunning. Our photographer took so any amazing pictures all over the property. We couldn’t have picked another venue. I am SO glad we choose Walter's Barn and the Soirees Staff. They took care of EVERYTHING. I didn't have to worry about a single thing or be at all stressed on our wedding day, so my (now) husband just got to enjoy each other and our families. The day was perfect and that was because of The Walter's Barn and their staff (Andrea and Sherri are AMAZING).

I can’t say enough about The Walter’s Barn and the staff!!! My wedding day would not have been what it was without the wonderful people who work there. It was worth every penny I spent. I was never stressed or worried about things getting done. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!!!

My husband and I LOVED The Walter's Barn! It was the perfect venue for our wedding. We knew we wanted a beautiful outside setting for our big day, but with Walter's Barn we ended up with so much more than just a great setting. Prior to visiting Walter's Barn, we went to other venues that felt more like wedding factories, where they would try to host multiple weddings in one day. After meeting Sherri for the first time, and seeing the barn, we decided to go with the all-inclusive package. It fit our budget, included two wedding coordinators, food, cake, flowers, decor, and DJ. Plus, we would be the only wedding scheduled for the day of our choice.
From the beginning, the coordinators were accommodating, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of working with Sherri, Andrea, and Rebecca and they treated us like family as they helped put our dream into reality. My husband and I met with them several times leading up to the day of our wedding to make sure everything was perfect. Every little detail was accounted for, every question answered, and all vendors were prepared prior to and during the ceremony and reception. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and I owe it all to the coordinators at Walter's Barn!
My husband had concerns that our entire wedding day would be filled with us getting paraded around and pushed in every direction by vendors and coordinators. However, this was NOT the case. The coordinators handled everything with ease. They made sure that we were where we needed to be, but they were not pushy or intrusive in any way. They made sure we ate, hand plenty to drink, and had time to visit with our guests the entire evening. Andrea was the best! She was like having a fairy godmother there to look after us and she took care of all of our needs. After leaving the venue, my husband even admitted he had such a great time that he wanted for us to get married all over again.

The Walters Barn and Soirees Southern Events were everything we could have asked for and more for our wedding. Sherry was so supportive and helpful from the very first meeting. Even though I didn't have a clear picture of exactly how I wanted my decorations, flowers, etc., Sherry and her team made helpful suggestions and took the lead in every aspect. They were very responsive during the planning process and the entire Walters Barn/Soirees staff, vendors, bartenders, and everyone else that helped the day of our wedding was really an all star. The venue is beautiful, the facilities are clean and well kept, and the staff is the best in the business. My husband and I looked at each other the day after the wedding and agreed that if we could do it all over again, we would in a heartbeat. I give all the credit to the crew at The Walters Barn and Soirees Southern Events for helping us put together the wedding of our dreams.

The Walter's Barn venue is unbelievably beautiful, and the ladies at Soiree Southern Events pulled the whole wedding and reception together magically! All of the vendors they recommended were top notch. We could not have been more impressed and delighted - it was exactly the wedding our daughter had dreamed of.

This venue is beautiful and the team is amazing! Sherri and her team were so helpful every step of the way!! I never really felt like I had much of a vision for my wedding, but I showed Sherri a few pictures of things I liked and they pulled it together more beautifully than I ever could have imagined! The vendors she recommended were also amazing and Sherri and her team coordinated everything beautifully so me and my family were able to just relax and enjoy the day! We are so thankful for Sherri, Andrea, Rebecca, and Maddie! We highly recommend Soirees Souther Events and Planning!

I honestly cannot thank Sherri, Andrea, and the whole Walters Barn staff enough for everything they did for our big day. They all were there every step of the way to make sure everything was taken care of and everything ran smoothly. Our day would not of been perfect without them and how beautiful the barn was decorated. Even though it did rain for a little bit I really appreciated that I was never pressured to bring my ceremony inside, instead Sherri helped me stay positive and rearranged the day just so we could have the ceremony outside after it cleared up! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience at The Walters Barn and I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking at venues!

Absolutely perfect!! As a dual military couple, my fiancé (now husband) and I were attempting to plan our wedding from two different states, across the country. A nightmare for almost any bride out there. However, Andrea and Sherri made the planning process so stress free and easy. Sherri was able to incorporate every little detail I could have ever wanted and made sure I was able to chose even the tiniest of details despite having to do it over facetime and phone calls. Andrea had every little detail of the day planned out to a T and made sure everything went seamlessly while still letting us get off track when we wanted to. I cannot say enough amazing things about these women, this venue and the perfect wedding day they gave us!

I really can't say enough about The Walters Barn and Soirees Southern Events. Sherri and her team were amazing. I had a pretty tight vision of what I wanted my wedding and reception to be, and once they were finished, it even surpassed my wildest dreams. The wedding ceremony and reception were simply stunning. Our wedding coordinator did get changed around the middle of our planning process due to the opening of a new venue, but both coordinators we worked with were great. We started-off with Allison who was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable about the venue and all it had to offer. Then we finished-up our wedding planning with Andrea who also was our day-of coordinator. Andrea is a ROCK STAR. She eliminated all stress and made sure the wedding day ran smoothly. This place is seriously awesome, and I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else!

The Walters Barn was a spectacular venue for our wedding day. The venue is spacious and has a great layout for large weddings. There is plenty of great dance space and room for all your vendors to set up. The coordinators that work with couples who choose the Walters Barn made sure every detail came together perfectly. They took time to meet with us throughout our wedding planning and fully understand our vision. On our wedding day we didn't have to worry about a thing. I will definitely be recommending the Walters Barn to all future brides I meet!

I had no problems at all on my wedding day. The venue took care of everything for me and the only thing my husband and I had to do was enjoy our special day. Our original plan for the ceremony was to have it by the beautiful lake outside, but due to the rain, we had to have the ceremony inside the barn. Despite the last minute changes, our wedding was extremely beautiful and seamless with its flow due to the wonderful staff that made it happen.

i can’t say enough about Southern Soirée Events and The Walters Barn. Our daughter’s wedding reception was held at The Walters Barn on October 14. Thanks to Allison Dolph (one of the BEST coordinators on Sherri Christiansen’s team), the day could not have been any more perfect! Allison coordinated all of our day-of vendors for a seamless event and she could not have been more gracious in handling all the details throughout the whole planning processing in the months leading up to the big day. Sherri Christensen provided all the flowers and they were absolutely gorgeous. We were blessed with wonderful weather that day and the beautiful venue provided a backdrop for incredible photos. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about what a great time they had and how beautiful everything was. There are not enough words to describe it all. To us it was the BEST DAY EVER

My daughter's wedding was in June and Walters Barn is not only an absolutely beautiful venue, but the people that we worked with were awesome! They answered all of our questions timely and we were able to meet with them several times before the wedding and the day of the wedding could not have been more perfect. Love this place! Walter's Barn was a fabulous venue with its beautiful building and grounds, but the top quality service provided by Soiree's Southern Events made this option a great experience. I would plan it all again with Sherri, Allison, and the whole staff because they made the job of mother-of-the-bride very easy and enabled me to enjoy my daughter and her big day. Every detail was attended to and they made sure we stayed on schedule and that the event was a huge success.

Getting married at the Walters Barn was an absolute dream. My husband and I live in Atlanta, and we were hoping to find an outdoor venue within an hour of the city with breathtaking scenery that felt like an escape—Walters Barn is it! Every time I went up to Lula for a meeting with Sherri or Andrea, their expertise and the beautiful venue set me completely at ease. Plus, there’s an adorable donkey on the property! We did the Saturday wedding package, which was the best choice we could have made. Sherri and Andrea of Soirees Southern Events took care of the florals, food, pies (which we did instead of cake), DJ, and day-of coordination! It was such a relief to know that all those things were taken care of, and the results were incredible! The food and pie was DELICIOUS and the florals were over-the-top gorgeous. Sherri and Andrea are rock stars. They are wonderful about keeping the bride focused on having fun and just moving everything else along behind the scenes. They’re also amazing at handling all the delightfully complicated family dynamics. :) I wholeheartedly recommend The Walters Barn & Soirees Southern Events!

Our daughter's wedding was absolutely beautiful!! The guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was!! Sherri was coordinator, advisor, floral designer and fabulous decorator! Her interns, Christy and Mackenzie were wonderful, especially their beautiful lettering of all the chalkboards. The venue is absolutely beautiful!! We went with the Sunday package which included flowers, decor, food, DJ and cake. The flowers and decor were breathtaking, Johnnys BBQ was delicious, Nigel the DJ was GREAT!, and Sugartopia provided the gluten free cake topper and 3 flavors of cupcakes was scrumptious!

The Walters Barn was everything we had ever dreamed of for our big day, plus more. Words cannot begin to describe how beautiful this venue is. From how gorgeous the barn is to the beautiful ponds on the property to the grand entrance, it was perfect!! The venue also came with a wedding coordinator who is AMAZING!! Sherri made our day absolutely perfect and even helped out with things that weren't in her job description. She went over and beyond to make sure that the bride and groom did not have to worry about anything on their special day. I would recommend the Walter's Barn to anybody about to get married. It made our special day that much more special and memorable!!

Allison was our main contact and she was always so sweet and flexible and so calmly worked to make sure to provide exactly what we wanted. She was so thorough and helpful and attended to every detail. Her hard work relieved the stress so that on the wedding day, we were all able to just relax and enjoy such a special day. Sherri did an amazing job on the decorations and flowers - it was truly breath-taking. And Luna's catering was absolutely out of this world. We received so many compliments on how great the food was. Honestly, the best experience I could have ever hoped for.

I could not have dreamed of a better venue, location, staff and service for my daughter's wedding reception. The day was absolutely stress free and amazing thanks to the staff at Walters Barn! I highly recommend this venue and as a matter of fact, have already recommended this venue to a friend.

First and foremost.....God blessed us with a breathtaking, gorgeous day! The venue was amazing! It was beautiful and Allison and Sherry helped us every step of the way. The timeline they created for us, kept us organized and informed. My daughter has told me several times that it was the wedding of her dreams. Thank you all for helping make her dream come true.

I would of never had my wedding anywhere else!! The Walters Barn was absolutely perfect! Sherri and Alison were so helpful throughout the entire process and became like family...our wedding was absolutely perfect because of them!

After touring several rustic wedding venues in north Georgia, we decided on The Walter Barn. It was hands down the most beautiful and was easy to get to from I-985. The event planners, Sherri and Allison, were amazing! They were extremely organized and very professional. I also opted to have Sherri do our wedding flowers. They were the most beautiful flowers I have seen in my entire life. They were so beautiful that if I ever need flowers again for another event I will hire her.

Sherri and Allison were so great in making my dream wedding come true! They used the decor that I provided, plus their own, and created a magical, fairytale wedding that was prettier than I could have ever envisioned! It simply was magical!
I am also so grateful to them for getting in touch with all of the vendors I selected and arranging a schedule that was absolutely flawless! The Walters Barn staff is incredible!!

Sherri and her team were awesome and handled everything for us! Quick response time and very smooth wedding day. From organizing the rehearsal dinner to helping me write thank you cards for my vendors an hour before I walked down the aisle, Soirees Southern Events did an excellent job!

This venue is stunning. Wendy and Sherri are a wonderful help and support to the wedding process. They care about the bride and groom and work to make the day the best it can possibly be. I don't have one complaint about this place or these people!!

I could not say enough good things about Sherri and her team! Nothing short of amazing! I didn't have to worry about anything! They handled everything... And decorations? Forget buying your own and having to sell them after the wedding! These guys have every decoration you could ever wish to have! I only brought 2 bags of things in for the wedding which consisted of pictures of us and things that were going to be used in our ceremony. It was such a relief to not worry about getting decorations and having to actually set up everything on our own... Not one person in my family or wedding party set up anything for the wedding and I loved that. There were no worries for any of my loved ones and everyone was able to relax that day! I can't even express how perfect out wedding day was, it was so perfect! I would get married here 10 times over and I would use Soirees staff again for any large event I ever plan again! They know their stuff and it made me a lot more relaxed and with that more excited and better able to enjoy my wedding and the planning experience!

Where do I even begin? Walter's Barn is the most beautiful venue ever, it is rustic and still classy! Sherrie the coordinator for Walter's Barn, and her assistant Allison are AMAZING! They took the time to go over every detail including: floral's, decorations, signage, and timeline of day-of, and so much more! They took the time to coordinate all the details with all of my vendors (food, photographer, preacher, & hair/makeup) to ensure that there would be no confusion for the day of. Sherrie arranged all of my floral arrangements, and I was totally blown away with how precise and absolutely beautiful they were! If your looking for a wedding venue, Walter's Barn should be your first and last option!

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience with the Walters Barn, most specifically with the coordinator Sherri. When we first saw the Barn, we were immediately enamored by the serenity and beauty in the location. While we first viewed the barn within a few months after it had began to be rebuilt, we got more and more excited as we saw the owners' vision unfolding. At the time of the ceremony and reception, the lawn looked gorgeous and the inside of the Barn was stunning.
We were so blessed to have gotten to work with Sherri (and briefly with Troy) to help us coordinate the details of the wedding. Sherri is an incredible professional and clearly has years of experience under her belt as she always seemed unflappable in the face of stress. She offered guidance and advice during our planning while not pushing her ideas onto us and was focused on doing what we believed was our vision for our wedding. She went above-and-beyond for us and our families and we are so grateful as she led us through our wedding day.
We would highly recommend the Walters Barn to anyone who is looking for an outdoor wedding in a beautiful location because of the look of the barn and because of the people who help to run it.

Our son and daughter-in-law were married at The Walters Barn 2 weeks ago! It exceeded our expectations! The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The weather was beautiful outside for the ceremony (although there was a back-up plan), and the reception once inside the Barn was
amazing. We must say that Sherri and her team were so wonderful to work with, and from the day before when we gave here boxes of items we wanted incorporated into the ceremony and reception, she took all of our worry and stress away. She handled everything, and ran the rehearsal, and day of wedding so well, we enjoyed every aspect of our sons wedding! We cannot say enough of how we feel about The Walters Barn and Sherri and her team. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

My husband and I were set to get married here and unfortunately the Barn burned down 3 weeks prior to our date. God is so good though and everyone was so sweet and generous to us throughout the process. Sherri (the coordinator) was amazing and found us another reception site immediately (it is Double L Farms- BEAUTIFUL!!!!) We were still able to get married outside on the Walter's property and got many comments that it was the most beautiful wedding venue people had ever seen. The property is gorgeous, the service is great, and the new Barn will be beautiful! They should have it rebuilt this summer, so we would definitely recommend this place!

Lovely venue
This venue was beautiful. We did an all-inclusive package and felt that the price was great and everything turned out beautifully. The only thing I would change was that I think I would have been happier with some of the vendors if I had chosen them myself rather than used the ones in the package.

Beautiful venue and great vendors!
Walters Barn is beautiful and we chose the inclusive package that included food, cake, DJ, flowers and coordination. It was a great decision. The food was delicious, cake was great(almost all eaten), DJ was perfect to get the party started, flowers and decor were spectacular. Coordination was great and they were very flexible with moving times/events around. I still don't know that I saw all the little touches they had put out for the ceremony and reception but I know people commented and loved it!
