Stunning & Spacious Venue for Large Wedding
Everyone says your wedding day is the most magical day- and they are not wrong! At the Vineyards at Chappell Lodge, amongst family, friends, large oak trees and a few deer, my husband and I became THE FISHERS.
My number one priority was to have a place that allowed for beauty, ambiance, fluidity, and good vibes. We had so many out of town guests that we needed somewhere that was close to DT Austin (25 minutes) and allowed us to have the ceremony and reception in one place. Trust me, the ease of having your guests walk straight to the cocktail hour without having extra transport is both smart and practical. Each space (vineyards, oaks trees, courtyard, pond, villa, and tent) offered picturesque scenery, which resulted in the most amazing photos for us and our guests! Additionally, very little decor was needed since the space was designed with elegance and Mediterranean aesthetics.
I also need to mention the bridal suite and groom's den- Each was spacious with all the sinks, mirrors, hanging and floor space you could ever need. Throughout the night our wedding party could pop in to change their shoes, use the restroom, etc., and be back to the party within minutes. Our dance floor was bumping for the entire wedding and with the flow of the venue, guests were able to feel that they were in the action even when taking a break or getting a drink.
Lastly, Krista and all at the VCL were fantastic to work with! I met with Krista in May of 2020 when all things Covid related were up in the air. She made me feel at ease and confident that the day would be everything I wanted. I did several visits to the venue and felt that every step of the way I had guidance and support. Weddings are stressful- and you will need the positivity, experience, and quality Krista offers!
I wouldn’t have changed a thing and was incredibly happy that we chose The Vineyards at Chappell Lodge! There is no way you can go wrong with this wedding venue. Thank you VCL for everything!-

Our perfect fit
Such a magical venue that was EXACTLY what my now husband and I were imagining for our wedding day!! As soon as we left our initial tour of the venue, we had literally nothing wrong we could say about the place - and they even have an on site coordinator (Catherine) who knows the place back to front and from top to bottom! The whole venue just smells like flowers and gives you such a special feeling. My girl crew and I even rented the on site cabin the night before to stay in after our rehearsal dinner and got ready there the next morning until we went over to the venue!! SO fun!
I had so many people come up to me on our wedding night complimenting the venue!! Couldn't have chose a better place!! -

Stunning Property, A Dream Location
In the midst of all the COVID craziness, my fiancé and I decided we still wanted to say our vows and Chappel Lodge was kind enough to let us rent the venue and say our vows with our family and friends supporting us virtually. When we woke up on the day of what was supposed to be our big wedding day, we honestly were quite sad to know we wouldn't be surrounded by our family and friends- but once we stepped on the property everything changed! It is a true piece of heaven on earth. The sunset, the fields of flowers, the oak trees- it was incredibly peaceful and unbelievably beautiful. It was a reminder of so much good and it made for an incredibly romantic setting for us to say our vows and enjoy a picnic. Now when we look back on 4/24/20, we aren't filled with sadness for what should have been but are instead overjoyed but what we were able to do and how we were able to still celebrate! Thank you Chappel Lodge for loving couples so well during this time and for bringing so much joy to our special day.-

AMAZING!! Look no further - VCL has everything you want in a wedding venue!
I cannot say enough amazing things about The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge and our coordinator, Catherine Haffner! The venue was breathtaking - from the beautiful vineyard, to the large oak trees, and the stunning field. There was no shortage of amazing photographs from our special day. Our wedding day was an absolute dream. Catherine and the staff at VCL worked tirelessly to make sure that I still had the wedding of my dreams, even during COVID-19. Catherine handled every detail of my wedding perfectly and never let me know of any issues that occurred behind the scenes. Saying "I Do" under the huge oak trees was so amazing. The reception area is covered but not enclosed, so we could still enjoy the beautiful scenery at VCL. This venue had everything we wanted and more! It was the perfect venue for a wedding during COVID. We were able to invite all of our guests and space them apart, everyone felt comfortable since the ceremony and reception were held outside. All of our guests had an incredible time and still talk about our wedding and ask about the venue! I wish we could get married here over and over again! -

Absolutely beautiful and Amazing Venue.
Wow, I am not even sure where to start with our review of The Vineyards at Chapel Lodge! Absolutely everything was incredible!
Firstly we had the awful task of locating a venue for the month December. After looking at dozens of venues online we came across this beautiful venue. We called first to make sure they had availability with our December 7th wedding date. The pictures looked incredible, and it looked like such a beautiful location.
We both fell in love with the look and the feel of the venue driving up for our onsite meeting. It was so surreal. The beautiful oak trees, pond, deer and facilities were absolutely beautiful. When we called to make a onsite interview Jaycie and Catherine were so lovely. They made arrangements for us to view the venue and explained the different areas. Jaycie took us through a general run through of what most couples do on their day but let us know they were very open to any creative ideas we had to make things a little different for our day. She really put our minds at rest and we knew that this was the venue for us. Catherine was our onsite coordinator and helped us finalize all the details for the day of. She made the wedding day run so smoothly.
Just a quick note to say thank you so much for all your hard work in making our wedding the best day of our lives. It would not have been possible without you all. All of our guests had a wonderful time and couldn’t praise the venue enough. It was so lovely to see it all come together so beautifully on the day – thank you so much again!
Best wishes
Cameron & Avery Gregory

Amazing Experience!
Fantastic venue!!
The in-house day of coordinator, Catherine Haffner, went way above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly on our wedding day, and was so lovely to work with!
The venue itself is gorgeous, open/airy and very thoughtfully designed. The bluebonnets and wild flowers were in full bloom, adding a beautiful splash of nature to our April 16 wedding.
From our first call with the owner, Krista, to our late night goodbyes with Catherine, my husband and I couldn’t have imagined a better team for our big day.
Thank you so much, VCL!! -

If I were recommending this to a couple, I would make sure that you absolutely know that you want an outdoor ceremony. I loved everything about our venue: the size, convenience to downtown Austin, and the spectacular views it had. This venue was so beautiful and worth every penny. Catherine was our coordinator and she was a dream to work with; she made our day so wonderful and was very accommodating in every way. Our best decision was to use her day-of coordination service. I don't think we could've pulled it off without her. Overall, I give this a 5 because our wedding was near perfect. -

Gorgeous property
This venue was perfect! The property was the perfect size for our wedding and had great accommodations as we got ready and cooked our reception dinner. I couldn’t have asked for a better day and a better venue. Just stunning! -

I need to start this review by saying that we had the most amazing wedding at the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge in April!!
Their website doesn't do the venue justice- the grounds are absolutely stunning, with gorgeous fields of wildflowers and romantic oak trees as a backdrop. Once we stepped foot at the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding (note: this was after having seen 8 different Austin venues in person and looking at countless others online in our research phase).
The professionalism and flexibility of the staff- Jaycie and Catherine- put us at ease immediately and made planning an Austin wedding from NYC much less stressful. With every email or call to them, they put our minds at ease, always answered all our questions, and were so accommodating throughout the planning process and on the days leading up to our wedding.
We could not say enough amazing things about the Vineyards, and nor could our guests for that matter! It was the absolute perfect location and we had the wedding of our dreams.
Thank you Catherine & Jaycie! -

Highly recommend for any occasion!
We absolutely adored our wedding venue, not only because the venue itself was beautiful and met our needs, but because of the staff that works for VCL. From our first interaction with the sales staff, to meeting the owners, to our fabulous day-of wedding coordinator, Catherine, the staff at VCL was welcoming, helpful, and professional. Their jobs are certainly not made easy during a pandemic, but they remained professional and supportive throughout. We received so many compliments from guests who attended. We are so appreciative of Catherine for making our big day less stressful and hectic, and for refocusing our energies on the things that truly mattered. My husband and I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion. We've even discussed returning someday way into the future to renew our vows! Five stars. Highly recommend.-

Stunning Location
As soon as we drove up to The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge through a field of wildflowers, we knew it was where we had to get married. My dream had always been to have a ceremony under large, old trees, and the oaks on this property are beyond stunning. Everything you could want in a venue is here—suites for getting ready, lodging options, outdoor ceremony space, a climate-controlled tent, a vineyard, a meadow…it really is perfect. The staff here was great, and we always felt we were in expert hands. They can accommodate pretty much anything you envision—the wedding the night before us had a guest count of 250; our guest count was 25. We could not have been happier with our venue choice, and our wedding photos are a forever testament to the beauty of this spectacular location. -

The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge was absolutely the most gorgeous place to have a wedding. We think the venue is South Austin's best kept secret. Just south of Moontower Saloon, the venue looks like hill country, dripping springs, or driftwood but in reality, is only 15-25 minutes south of downtown. Our wedding was three days ago, and we are still in awe of how beautiful everything looked on our special day.
We DIY'd our entire Wedding and this venue made our projects look absolutely stunning. The gorgeous oak trees were exactly what my Austin born and raised Fiance (now Husband) wanted for the ceremony. The vines, the glowing hayfield behind the ceremony at sunset, and the beautiful oak trees created an romantic, yet casual, and elegant backdrop! Our guests loved all the spaces in the venue, they were able to explore little areas and really utilize the full space. Aside from the breathtaking surrounding grounds, the hacienda style house and outdoor patios are just beautiful!
From the speakers in the trees, to the bridal suite, to being able to rent the venue overnight to load-out in morning, and have our guests stay overnight, it was all so perfect. We also booked Catherine to be our day of coordinator and she was top notch, truly professional, and worked hard for us the week leading up to the Wedding and especially on the day of the Wedding. Wouldn't have been able to execute it all so smoothly without her, so glad we budgeted her into our Wedding. It was so nice to be stress free that day, we didn't have to worry about a thing. She was so wonderful!
We cannot say enough great things about the venue. Choosing this place for your special day, especially if you'd like an outdoor venue, will not disappoint!

March 21, 2019 Wedding
The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge is the best venue in Austin, TX. It is so gorgeous and has plenty of space for guests to roam around. Jaycie showed us around and we instantly fell in love with her down to earth personality. She was amazing and made us feel it was the right place for us to get married. Everyone at our wedding said it was the most beautiful venue they had ever been to. It turned out to be a gorgeous day and the bluebonnets and wildflowers were everywhere. The bistro open air area was very calming- probably one of my favorite areas and I absolutely loved our bridal suite. Super romantic and seriously the best day ever at the best venue ever!-

A dream wedding under a big Texas sky, beneath the branches of an old oak tree with wild flowers in bloom in the nearby field! Our daughter and son-in-law had a vision for their special day and Vineyards at Chappel Lodge was the perfect spot for making it all come true... and more!
Just a short drive from the fun and bustle of downtown Austin, Vineyards provided a natural elegance for our celebration! Despite the threat of severe thunderstorms, Catherine, the venue's day of coordinator, kept us all calm by making certain that all the essential pieces for a plan B were in place! In fact, she was the voice of calm and reason and guidance every step of the way in a planning process that was happening from faraway New York and New Jersey! We are thankful for all her help and guidance in the months leading up to the wedding and for coordinating all the moving parts on the big day itself! The rains never fell on our celebration after all - the sun peaked out and the birds were chirping as we walked our daughter down the stone path to the beautiful oak tree. It was magical!
And the reception on the lovely tented terrace was just as perfect where we enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Royal Fig and amazing music and dancing courtesy of Uptown Drive. The wedding was more than 2 months ago, but we are all still smiling ... We are all still basking in the feeling of a very wonderful day at a very beautiful and special venue - it was everything the bride and groom dreamed of! -

This place is beautiful!
The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge has the best set up for a flawless wedding or event. A beautiful outdoor ceremony site, peaceful terrace for cocktail hour and a giant covered space for dinner and dancing.
I have had the pleasure of coordinating two events here and really enjoyed it! The space is efficient and the team is kind and helpful. I can't wait to come back! -

Great experience at this venue
My husband and I had our wedding at Chappel Lodge and could NOT be happier about our venue choice! The venue is beautiful and very convenient location (20min from downtown). The space is very flexible and could be used for different sized weddings.
We hired Catherine as our day of coordinator and she was amazing, she made sure everything ran smoothly even with some last minute changes! We had unexpected weather and Chappel Lodge worked through the changes seamlessly and I was stress free.
I could not recommend this venue and Catherine enough! -

Nothing short of Perfection!
Seriously! I cannot brag enough about the venue and their staff. This whole pandemic has changed the normal course of our lives and many don't take the time to think of others when dealing with the individual stresses it has caused. I will say Krista puts her clients first and it reflects with her team as well. We planned being very flexible with our wedding knowing how this year has been. We were absolutely blown away with the level of service and gratitude we received at Chappel Lodge. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous, well maintained and offered the perfect setting for photography. I could go on and on, but bottom line, this place is beautiful and their customer service is second to none. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge. Do yourself a favor and make this your last stop so you can see how much better they are than the rest. Thanks again to Krista and her team!!! -

Breathtaking Venue Nestled in South Austin
We toured several venues before choosing The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge, but once we visited, we knew right away that it was the venue for us. We were so in love with the fields and fields of wild flowers surrounding us and the open-air feeling of the giant white tent. And we chose right - our wedding was such a dream! Although we did have our own wedding planner, Catherine, the venue manager, was beyond helpful! She was so responsive to all of my emails and questions, and we just felt so supported throughout the entire wedding planning process - even through Covid. There are so many added bonuses that came along with our venue: 1) furniture rentals included! We were able to choose a few gorgeous couches and chairs to create a cool seating vignette for our guests to hang out in. 2) Lodging! We took FULL advantage of all of the lodging options provided. Our entire bridal party (16+ their spouses and dates) were able to stay overnight comfortably using the huge, adorable cabin on the property and the very well kept rooms in the lodge. The also provided the absolutely gorgeous bridal suite for me and my now husband to stay in on the night of our wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a partially-outdoor wedding. (I recommend April - the weather was perfect!) You cannot beat the views, the vibes or the professionalism of this place. Thank you VCL!!-

Ever since I was little, I always wanted to get married outside. There's something so romantic about light and trees and nature... And since I'm a hopeless romantic, the outdoors was the perfect fit for me. I also wanted a place where I could hold both the ceremony and the reception, so that people could travel to just one location and the flow of the wedding would not be interrupted. The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge gave me all of these things, plus more. The grounds are gorgeous, the reception patio is rustic yet classy, and the best part: you feel like you're in Hill Country without driving out to Hill Country. (You're in South Austin close to a major street, but there is light and trees EVERYWHERE and it feels like you are in Dripping Springs!) I will admit, I was nervous at first about the entire wedding taking place outside since you never know what Texas weather will do, but our overcast wedding felt amazing and looked gorgeous in pictures! On top of that, the staff is wonderful. Kristy and Catherine got to witness a bridal meltdown (courtesy of me and my stress) when I signed my contract, and were beyond supportive, counseling me and handing me tissues the whole time. And Catherine.. HIRE HER. Her day-of-coordinating is worth every penny (and it's at a great price anyways) and she knows exactly what she's doing. In our planning meetings (first one held a month before the wedding, second one a week or so before) she asked me questions and made me think of details I would have completely forgotten otherwise. I had almost no worries the day of, thanks to her, as she kept everyone in check and everything running smoothly. So my advice: go take a tour of the venue. The pictures online don't even do it justice; I promise you will fall in love. I am so glad to have such a beautiful background for the memories of the day I got to marry my best friend, and will always hold The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge very near and dear to my heart! -

Everything I was looking for
I fell in love with the Vineyard at Chappel Lodge the minute I visited. My partner and I were looking for a naturally beautiful venue in Austin city limits when I stumbled on the venue accidentally while on google maps. And I'm so glad I did! The grounds allowed a carefree and open environment with ample space for our community to enjoy while being socially distant. It also exuded the beautiful rustic elements we were looking for to would make our guests feel right at home. And that gate!!
When I saw that gate, I knew the vineyard would be my venue.
I had my wedding at VCL and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great it was. And that is all thanks to the great staff! You'll meet Catherine who is just a wealth of knowledge and really looks out for your day and your needs. She was such a reassuring force throughout the process and made herself available for any questions along the way.
If you're looking for a knowledgeable support team, an Austin wedding venue that serves beautiful scenes, and a relaxed and classy/casual atmosphere that's less than 20mins from downtown Austin... you have to check out The Vineyard at Chappel Lodge. I'm so so glad I did.-

Fairytale wedding
I had the wedding of my dreams at The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge. Getting married under the beautiful live oak trees was like something out of a fairytale!
From my first venue tour with the owner, Krista, to the big day itself, the entire planning process was seamless and worry-free.
I am especially thankful for Catherine, the in-house coordinator, who went above and beyond in making sure the day went off without a hitch. We had so many guests remark that this was the most memorable, well-run wedding they'd ever been to before. THANK YOU! -

Picturesque and unique venue!
This was the most beautiful venue! We got lucky with having our wedding in late March when the bluebonnets aren't supposed to be out, but they were for our wedding and it was magical! Catherine is the on-site manager and we hired her as our day-of coordinator as well, and she did a fantastic job making sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend getting married here! It is a picturesque and unique wedding venue. -

The most beautiful venue
We absolutely loved having our wedding at The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge. From the first moment, Jaycie and her team were kind, thoughtful and responsive and we loved working closely with them throughout the whole wedding season! The venue itself is so beautiful - in the few times we visited, there were groups of deer running by, which was so special. The venue is close enough to town to be very convenient, but also feels amazingly peaceful. We loved working closely with the team there, and are so grateful for their support and partnership over the past several months! -

Love Love Love Kristy! She's absolutely amazing and I couldn't have had a better experience with her and the venue. I wish she would've been my wedding coordinator! Super understanding of all my requests and very easy to work with. It was a May wedding in Texas so I was super worried about the weather but she did everything in her power to ensure it was a beautiful day and that the ceremony/reception would go off without a hitch and sure enough....it did :) -

Loved our Vineyards at Chappel Lodge Wedding!
We are SO happy we booked VACL and additionally happy we invested in Catherine to be our day of coordinator!
VACL was definitely the best bang for our buck! So many venues in Austin 'price gouge' their couples by charging ridiculous fees for specific items and are not up front. We chose VACL for a few reasons:
1. It's GORGEOUS! They have beautiful overgrown trees and the ceremony site with the gorgeous stone aisle is breathtaking. We loved the outside grounds and the fun cocktail hour that then flows into the reception tent. We had the most gorgeous day for weather so it felt worth the investment and risk for this outside venue.
2. VACL allows you to bring your own alcohol on site. We were able to have Specs deliver all the booze we needed (and were able to return it at just a 10% restock fee). Other venues do not allow this - which for a wedding of our size (200 people) and charging per person per hour gets REALLY expensive! Additionally we were able to have the bridal party get ready onsite and enjoy champagne and whiskey while we were getting ready - no issues. A few other venues had strict rules about "no offsite alcohol!" with signs all over the bridal suite which I thought was silly.
3. People were worried about the train but this wasn't an issue for us and even if a train comes through WHO CARES - it will be another memorable moment and if you know it's a possibility you can have the sound ready to play some fun tunes.
4. CATHERINE! She was absolutely amazing and may our day flow perfectly. I've been in a LOT of weddings (over 10 as a bridesmaid) and worked with many coordinators and she is the best. She is direct, but pleasant, informative but willing to listen. Too often I've seen details go missed and that just won't happen with Catherine!
5. The capacity - this venue was perfect for our 200 guests - we were able to sit everyone at the chairs at the ceremony (chairs and tables included in the venue! another huge plus!) and we fit perfectly under the tent!
6. The location! A lot of locations like this are far from Austin making the logistics a nightmare for out of town guests. We had all our guests stay at the Omni Hotel Southpark and then provided shuttles to and from the venue - just a quick 15 minute ride. Then they had access to downtown Austin and were able to enjoy our wedding and still have access to Austin. Other venues are so remote it leaves guests stuck in places that aren't ideal.
Anyways - VACL was a great choice for us!!!

Beautiful Venue
This venue was absolutely beautiful!! The staff was accommodating to our needs and easy to work with. Jaycie was AMAZING and quick to respond to any questions. Catherine had a wealth of information as our day of coordinator. All of Catherine's recommendation were spot on. Everything went off without a hitch. There is an on site cabin available to rent during your event and it was so nice having family close throughout the weekend. We wouldn't change a thing about that day and the events leading up to it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue and Catherine Haffner. -

Dreamiest outdoor venue!!!!
If you’re looking for a gorgeous, outdoor, rustic, ethereal and unique wedding venue near Austin, RUN DONT WALK to the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge!!! I was a Covid bride who had to relocate my (already postponed) wedding from San Diego to Austin less than 3 months before my December 2020 date. Miraculously, they had my open at Chappel Lodge and after visiting the venue, I knew it was the one. I cannot say enough good things about the venue and the entire team there. Krista (the adorable owner) was SO helpful during the whole process, and she is just so sweet and easy to work with. They worked so well with all of our vendors (including some that we brought from CA), and the day itself turned out SO PERFECTLY. My family took advantage of their lodging options, which they loved. And my bridesmaids loved getting ready in the huge and spacious bridal suite. Overall, I could not have imagined a better venue!!!-

I cannot speak highly enough of the The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge. My husband and I knew from the second we stepped on the property that it would be the perfect venue- its beautiful outdoor ceremony site and charming reception pavilion make for a perfect Hill Country wedding only 15 minutes from downtown Austin. Kristy was incredibly patient, helpful, and kind as we negotiated through our contract and created our vision for the perfect day. We elected to have a day-of wedding coordinator (provided through VCL) and it was one of the best decisions we made. Catherine was extremely professional, creative, and organized as we pulled together our last-minute details.
As we got closer and closer to the wedding day, the forecast called for rain. Catherine helped us adapt our schedule and plan for a tent and extra lighting package. Catherine was so flexible with us that she let us wait until 2 hours before the ceremony to decide on a ceremony site. She worked extremely hard to make sure we had the day we always envisioned even though the weather was drizzly. I am so grateful to Catherine and Kristy for helping me plan our wedding and would recommend The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge to any Austin-area couples! -

Unforgettable August Wedding
I don't even think I can fit all of the positive things I want to say about this venue into one review. I fell in love with the venue the second I stepped foot onto it for a tour. Jaycie, the director of sales, has such a contagiously cheerful and sweet personality. She really made my decision to book with the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge one of the easiest decisions I had to make for my entire wedding planning. I knew that if the venue had people like her, I could trust them with one of the most important days of my life. And I was not wrong! Catherine, the day of coordinator that we hired through the venue, is absolutely amazing! If you are thinking of hiring an outside DOC, just don't, believe me, you want Catherine! She knows the venue and she knows her stuff. I had zero worries because I knew she had everything for me. Many of my vendors gave me compliments on Catherine, saying that she was the most organized coordinator they have worked with and how much easier she made their jobs. My bridal party noticed how hard Catherine was working on my wedding day making sure everything was in order and perfect to my liking. All of my guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, and how perfect and smooth the day went. I can't thank the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge enough for making my wedding day even better than I could imagine! -

Awesome Venue March 22, 2019 Wedding
The venue at The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge (VCL) is both lovely and amazing; one of the most beautiful settings we could imagine. On our first visit, we were sold. The wedding for our daughter and her fiancé hosted by VCL was perfect in every way. The wedding was held in the Spring with bluebonnets in full bloom; just imagine the beautiful photos that were taken. The site of the wedding ceremony under the big oak trees seemed to envelop the couple as they said their vows; what a beautiful memory. During the planning process, everything went smoothly. Jaycie Kreitzer, the venue’s Director of Sales and Operations, was energetic
, friendly and paid attention to every detail of the wedding of our daughter’s dreams. She was very accommodating to all of our requests, including visiting the venue several times when we needed additional information for décor and the flow of the event. Jaycie was a delight to work with. We highly recommend this venue not only for weddings but for other events, as well.

Beautiful venue!
My husband and I just got married at the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge in August and they were so wonderful and accommodating. We had our ceremony and reception there on a very hot Texas day but our guests hardly noticed the heat. The ceremony site is well shaded and the tent stayed cool in the evening with fans going. We worked with the day-of-coordinator who works at the venue, Catherine and she was pivotal in helping our day go so smoothly. She made sure all the details were handled on the day of the wedding and we were so thankful to have her there. This venue is gorgeous and leaves you with a feeling of being away from the city even though it’s only 15 minutes or so from downtown. -

Lovely outdoor wedding site with lots of spaces!
This was a fantastic venue to have a big Austin wedding! We got married in late October and had roughly 170 guests. The ceremony site held our gigantic wedding party and attendees easily, and there was plenty of space for cocktail hour. We did a TON of dancing and there was plenty of room for that as well. We chose the venue because it had a lot of spaces (big tree covered ceremony site, vineyard for the first look, courtyard for extra seating and a second buffet table) and it fit our style really nicely. The space is truly beautiful! The on site staff was all super communicative and easy to work with. Lastly, the bridal party stayed at the cabin on site the day of the wedding and that was a GREAT idea. Waking up on site the morning of our wedding and sipping coffee on the porch was a truly magical way to start the day -

Microwedding
We had to postpone our large wedding and reception due to COVID-19 and my fiancé being in the military. We couldn’t imagine ourselves not getting married on our original wedding date regardless of the current circumstances. Because of this, we started practically “cold-calling” venues in the Austin area sounding like absolute idiots asking if they had availability for us to have a small celebration with our closest family and friends. I called Krista, the owner, and I was immediately amazed at how helpful and generous she was. She went out of her way to ensure that Jacob and I had the wedding of our dreams, even though it wasn’t like we at all imagined it to be at first. We wanted to even move our large wedding that we postponed to October to this venue - it is BEAUTIFUL! The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is incredible. Do not miss out on an opportunity to spend your special day here! We would do it 1000 times over and over again. -

Perfect Outdoor Venue + Coordinator
Like other recent engaged couples our wedding planning was a whirlwind. We toured several venues in early 2020 and fell in love as soon as we visited The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge. We knew immediately that it was the perfect venue for us! The open fields, vineyards, tent, and giant oak trees really embodied what we were looking for in a Hill Country wedding. We could not believe such an amazing venue is located in south Austin, so close to guest accommodations and dining areas all within 5 miles. We immediately booked! Krista was wonderful to work with.
Due to Covid 19, we decided to postpone our wedding to 2021. Krista was very understanding and worked with us on a new date for the following year. She really made us feel supported the entire way and was always easy to reach with any questions we had asap! The venue really is amazing, all chairs and tables were included, and is pet friendly. Rental furniture was also included which really made the whole experience so much easier. They even allowed me and my bridesmaids to arrive hours early for hair + make up. The bridal suite is fully set up to accommodate hair + make up services (I had 7 bridesmaids and we had plenty of room to lounge and get ready).
We also hired the Day of Coordinator Catherine. She truly is AMAZING! We cannot recommend her enough! All throughout the entire process she answered any questions we had and met with us to plan the entire wedding day a few weeks before the wedding. On our wedding day she made everything go smoothly. She worked amazingly with all of our vendors and made the wedding of our dreams come true, while making sure we enjoyed ourselves!
We also took advantage of the lodging options offered by the venue. My husband and I spent the night in the gorgeous bridal suite!!!
We definitely recommend the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge to anyone looking for an outdoor wedding venue!

The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge is an absolutely beautiful venue! I got married there last weekend (10/18) and my guests continue to rave about how beautiful the space was. I fell in love with the venue immediately the first time I saw it and knew I had to get married there. What also sold me was the beautiful lodging that is available! My bridesmaids and I stayed there on Friday and Saturday night, and the groomsmen rented the cabin! It was so nice to have all of our wedding party so close and not have to worry about traveling before or after the wedding. And that bridal suite is amazing!
I booked the venue almost a year before the wedding and spoke with Kristy numerous times throughout the year, always with a prompt response. But what really stood out to me was the help Chappel Lodge gave me in the last days before the wedding : I rented a tent from WHIM that was installed the Thursday before my Saturday wedding, however Kristy from the venue knew it would not meet my expectations - the barrels holding the tent were awful, the lighting was poor, and it overall looked cheap. Kristy stepped up and called my day of coordinator to make her aware, but more importantly she called WHIM and said they needed to come out and fix it. She had the highest expectations and even called other rental companies to come out to beautiful the space! I felt so grateful for her and knew that was truly above and beyond her duties! So thank you, Kristy!
Finally, Catherine was the person on duty the night of my wedding and she was so helpful! I saw her running around making sure everything was perfect and even checking on me to ask if I needed anything. She even helped serve the cake! I did not have a single worry the night of my wedding and I have the Chappel Lodge staff to thank for that. (I should also note the cleaning and set up crew were so sweet to me and even congratulated me throughout the day while getting ready!)
I highly recommend Chappel Lodge for a wedding! -

This place is beautiful and Jaycie was a joy to work with. The wedding ceremony took place under the gorgeous oaks and it was just the perfect spot. Everyone said that the place had a special feel to it. Jaycie was so easy to work with and very responsive. They have a big tent in case it rains and if it doesn't you can enjoy the night sky from the large reception area. Do not hesitate to book your wedding here! -

Beautiful wedding under a live oak tree
This venue is Hill Country vibes without the drive. As soon as we visited, we knew this is where we wanted to get married. We loved working with Krista (venue owner) and Catherine (venue coordinator). They were both easy to work with and answered all of our questions. We loved getting married under a live oak tree and cannot wait to see our pictures. The flow of the venue also works perfectly between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception under the beautiful tent. The tent also has fans and A/C, which is extremely important in the Austin heat. The bridal suite was also perfect to finish getting ready in. We absolutely adored our wedding at the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge and we cannot recommend it enough. -

Book here for a perfect day
From start to finish our experience here was top tier. The owner Krista is as warm and welcoming as the venue itself. The location is drop-dead gorgeous and is set up in such a way that everything flows and feels so organic. The getting-ready rooms were spacious and felt super luxe. The ceremony space is perfect and the way they set it up, the pictures turn out incredible. All of the small touches are what make this venue so unique. You really do not need to add a lot, if anything, to transform this space into a perfect wedding backdrop. You can just tell the amount of care put into the spaces by the whole team and they were always so accommodating to all of our wants and needs. The courtyard spaces were perfect for cocktail hour and the reception tent gave us the party of our dreams. If you book here do not think twice about also booking Catherine (the venue coordinator) as your wedding planner. Her input and services helped make our event absolutely magical from start to finish. She is in complete control and worked with all of our vendors to make sure the day went off without a hitch. I would recommend this venue (and Catherine) to anyone looking for a perfect wedding. My husband and I keep talking about it and wish we could have another party because it was just that incredible.-

Beautiful outdoor location for an Austin wedding
We were very happy with VCL for the venue for our ceremony and reception that we had in November 2021. We had originally planning on getting married in April 2020 but had to reschedule twice due to COVID. VCL was very accommodating with both changes (we had to pay a fee for the second change, but it was reasonable). The venue is incredibly beautiful and all of our pictures turned out great. The reception location and having it "open-air" made all of our guests feel a bit more comfortable in the COVID-times. -

Fantastic and the best experience
I can’t say enough good things about this venue. As soon as you drive onto the property the grounds are beautifully maintained and it’s just so peaceful. The ceremony site under the trees is gorgeous. The venue itself with all the features and attention to detail is perfect. We loved the venue so much and Jaycie is phenomenal. She was so helpful, we hadn’t even decided to book the place yet and she was giving us so much good advice and tips for planning and looking at other places. She definitely went above and beyond. They were flexible with our budget and was willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. We had the best wedding and experience here and can’t say enough good things. -

The VCL was absolutely beautiful in April! We found this venue to be perfect without much additional decoration from us (Besides our tables of course). We hired the day-of coordinator who works for the venue and she was accommodating, helpful, and made our day operate very smoothly! She is full of expertise and advice. I 100% suggest working with her as your day-of coordinator even if you think you can do it yourself. VCL is not a "DIY" place - meaning you'll need vendors for most things and don't rely on having friends/family doing everything. The price was worth it! If you are afraid of rain, do your homework to find a tent vendor with a great price. That was the only added cost we through was a slight draw-back for this venue. -

Wonderful Elopement!
Krista was so kind in helping make our elopement dreams come true!! We postponed our big wedding due to COVID but rented The Vineyard at Chapel Lodge for our elopement (no guests). Krista's kindness, friendliness, humor, and attention to detail were all so appreciated. She cares so much about her clients and wanting to ensure they have a beautiful day. She has so many small touches to really make the day magical for her clients. On top of it all, the property is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend it!!-

Perfect romantic Texas venue
We recently had our wedding here and it was absolutely stunning. We loved the amount of space there was for people to roam, the ceremony site is incredibly beautiful, and the reception tent was a lifesaver when we had an unexpected cold spell. It’s incredibly versatile and we were able to cater the set up to our needs and wishes. The staff was very flexible and accommodating. My only difficulty I had was to get a hold of someone in the office, usually email was the best mode of communication. -

Amazing Venue
The Vineyards at Chappel lodge is a beautiful venue. All the green space it has is perfect for any type of wedding.
The reception tent is spacious, beautiful, and perfect for dancing and games.
The venue did everything possible to make our wedding amazing. With the help of Catherine, our day of coordinator, everything was perfectly set up and ready for us.
100% would recommend, I hope to not have to get married again, but will definitely keep VCL in mind for my next celebration.

I just had my wedding at the Vineyards at Chappel Lodge and I absolutely loved it! Getting ready with my girlfriends in the bridal suite was so enjoyable and I received a lot of compliments on the decor even though I had nothing to do with it. Kristy at Chappel was really easy to work with, provided me recommendations whenever I asked, and was really flexible regarding what we wanted to do at the venue regarding layout, timeline, vendors, etc. The venue itself is gorgeous so you MUST visit it in person to really take it all in, we received a ton of compliments from people who live just within a few miles of the venue and were so surprised it was there and so impressed with the landscape, architecture, layout etc. Several guests mentioned how much they really felt like they were "In the Hill Country". -

Would recommend!
Me and my husband just got married this last March at Vineyards at Chappel Lodge, and had a wonderful experience.
A little back story: our wedding was scheduled this past February at the Lodge...but there was a freak snowstorm that hit us! The venue was extremely flexible finding another date that could work for us.
We loved that the venue was all outdoors. It has a tent with beautiful twinkle lights in it to make it festive for the occasion. (It also eased my mind in case of bad weather!) The outdoor ceremony area is absolutely beautiful. Because of our reschedule date...we couldn't get our original flowers....but you truly didn't need a lot of flowers to make the venue look beautiful.
There is also a gorgeous winding drive as you enter.
Side note: just make sure to use Apple Maps to get there, and not
Google Maps. (For some reason Google Maps takes you to the back
entrance, which isn't the pretty way and can be locked.)
We just got our wedding photos back, and the Texas Oak trees surrounding the property look absolutely stunning in photographs. (photo credit: Lauren Reynolds Photography-

Beautiful Oak Trees, and Much More!
This place is awesome! From the moment we stepped onto the grounds and saw the big, beautiful oak trees, we were sold! We got married in February, so we didn't benefit from the vineyards themselves or the flower fields, but everything was still beautiful and green and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. All our favorite vendors had worked the venue before, so logistics and coordination was a piece of cake, and the staff at VCL were totally on the ball, and super accommodating. There was plenty of space for out 120 ish guest wedding, and the rooms for the bride and groom were great. We had an amazing wedding, and the pictures came out fantastic, and a lot of that was due to this great venue. We can't recommend VCL enough! -

Avoid this venue
We wanted to warn future couple to stay away from The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge. Here's the short version...
Beware of any business in any industry that responds to negative feedback with threats of legal action and tries to blame you for their issues. That's the tip of the iceberg with this spiteful venue. I'll lead with the last line they wrote to us after we provided them with feedback, "we understand and will respond once we have gotten with our legal team." 🤦♂️
A beautiful location and the repeated promise of a thorough outdoor cooling system were the main reasons we spent $9,326 for a Saturday in June for the venue and an additional $2,900 to rent their "lodge" for us and close friends to spend the Friday and Saturday night there.
Unfortunately despite multiple in person meetings before our wedding, where we specifically asked and confirmed that, yes they have fans and misters and we'll be ok, the misters were never turned on and fans were only turned on midway through dinner. We had 115 guests melting in the heat and many ended up leaving early due to the heat.
After the event when we brought this up to the venue, no real apologies were given, and instead they blamed us, the bride and groom for not stepping away from our wedding, finding their coordinator, hiding in her air conditioned office, and making her turn things on. And amazingly in the same breath, the venue said they, "do not want the misters to dampen the linens or food on the tables. It would also have likely damaged the paper lanterns throughout the tent" Cool, so the main feature we spent 9k+ to have shouldn't be used. Not once was this mentioned in our 15 months of working with the venue.
Beyond that, the few other issues we had were all met with defensive comments and vitriol. So in closing, avoid this venue at all costs. We truly wish we paid 50% more to have our event at all the slightly nicer spots in Dripping Springs. And I know this review will get a comment from the venue, again taking zero accountability and instead, blaming the bride and groom for everything. -
