The View at Bluemont is a spectacular venue with breathtaking views. Our daughter toured many venues for her October 2024 wedding, and no others compared to the splendor of this one which she and her husband chose for their special day. The aesthetics of the grounds and the layout, cleanliness and beauty of the manor captivated everyone in attendance. Countless guests made mention over and over how beautiful they found the venue. Furthermore, the personnel involved with running this venue and our wedding were top notch. Darcey, Nicole, and Brice along with Bryan were helpful, patient, kind and professional. We used Gala Catering, the in-house caterer and only wonderful things can be said as not only us, but our guests as well were extremely pleased with the quality, presentation, and flavor of the food. Highly recommend others to look at this spectacular venue for any party needs!

We had a wonderful experience with The View at Bluemont. My husband and I got married there in June, 2024. We stayed the weekend with our bridal party and even had our rehearsal there! We were very pleased with everything. Our day went smoothly and the staff were amazing! Definitely recommend booking this venue.

We absolutely loved the View at Bluemont. From the picturesque scenery to the beautifully designed Manor, every aspect of the wedding was stunning. We did not have a wedding planner but felt like we were in amazing hands with Hannah the day of coordinator. The team is very organized and capable and really knows how to throw a black tie event. We rented out the Manor and the Lodge for the night and both accommodations were easy to access and very clean. The team was flexible and genuinely happy to be there, we couldn’t have imagined our wedding at another place. Thank you Bluemont Team!

As a more reserved couple, we initially felt hesitant about the venue due to the salesperson, Nicholas, whose pushy tactics didn’t align with our planning style. We aren’t sure if Nicholas is still associated with The View, but we wanted to call this out so other couples are aware and don’t dismiss this amazing location based solely on their interactions with him. The space and the TVB team’s dedication to making your day perfect are truly unmatched.

Brice was amazing throughout the planning process, patiently answering our many questions and working tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect. After some initial disappointments during our catering tasting, Brice took extra steps to ensure the final menu matched our vision. On the wedding day, Nicole provided exceptional care, making sure we felt supported and stress-free. Both Brice and Nicole went out of their way to execute our day seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment.

The food was an absolute highlight—not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious. Many of our guests commented on how outstanding it was, which made the day even more memorable.

The venue itself is stunning. From the timeless charm of the manor house to the elegant ballroom, every detail of the space is breathtaking. The bridal suite was a dream—a spacious and serene spot to prepare for the day.

We’ll be dreaming about our wedding at The View at Bluemont for years to come. If you’re looking for a venue that offers both incredible service and unmatched beauty, we cannot recommend it enough! If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Brice and Hannah were fantastic to work with—both went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The entire catering staff was equally impressive; their service was attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious.

The in-house logistics were seamless, making it so easy for us as vendors to focus on creating a memorable day for the couple. The space itself is breathtaking, with stunning views that create a magical atmosphere. As a wedding videographer, I have shot at over 100 venues, and this one is one of my favorites. The view is breathtaking, and every time you turn your head, there is a stunning backdrop. Not to mention, everything is in one place. The bridal room is big and spacious, and the guys have a perfect spot to drink and watch a game. The staff was super nice and helpful as well.

I provide hair and makeup services for weddings and events so I am always at various venues. This venue is my all time favorite. Wonderful space and views. Very accommodating.

We recently photographed a wedding at this STUNNING venue and can't wait for the chance to return. The views are incredible, the getting ready rooms are perfectly set up, the reception space is spectacular. It was truly amazing!!!

This venue is truly magical! The views are amazing and venue looks even better in person. I knew once I did a site visit that it was the one. The bridal suite and mountain views sold me and no other venue could compare. My guests are still reeling over how beautiful my wedding was. The staff had great communication, very responsive, flexible, and accommodating. Veronica, our day of coordinator, was phenomenal. She took her role seriously and went above and beyond to make sure the day was absolutely perfect. She is organized, experienced, and made sure to check in with me from time to time to make sure I had what I needed during the event. She was also great with communicating with vendors, months leading up to the big day. We were initially assigned a coordinator that was not a good fit for us but Bluemont quickly had Veronica step in to take over and we couldn't be happier. Food was awesome, service was excellent. We also booked the lodge and Manor for our family and wedding party, which made the experience feel like a true weekend getaway. Location is a bit far from the closest city (about 30min) but guests said they found the place easily. I'm thankful we got to have our wedding here before too many people discover this place and prices go up lol. 10/10 recommend this place!

We have been working with Nicholas Suarez to sign for The View at Bluemont. Nicholas was very helpful over the phone and extremely knowledgeable during the in person tour. We were one of three couples touring, but he made us feel heard and gave us space to chat one on one. He provided a lot of assistance when navigating through the venue contract, and took his time explaining important details to us clearly and concisely. There is a lot to take in at the venue and Nicholas made everything easy to understand and really helped us envision how our wedding could be at the view. He has also been very accommodating and flexible with us throughout the entire process and gave speedy responses even during the winter holiday season. Working with Nicholas has been a very pleasant experience, he’s always able to answer whatever questions we have which gives us peace of mind for our upcoming wedding. The venue itself is truly stunning (the actual view needs no explanation). The newly added ballroom is spacious with big beautiful windows and lots of elegant details. We consistently look at their Instagram account and love how couples are using the space. We feel very lucky to have booked and look forward to working with Nicholas until our big day.

I have to admit, I did not believe committing to a venue would be so quick, easy, seamless and exciting! From my first correspondence with Nicholas Suarez I received prompt communication, pricing, venue details and pictures/ videos. Every question was answered and I had no doubt I wanted our wedding to take place here. He did backflips to make it happen! We did not even lay eyes on the venue before saying YES - this is the confidence he gave us. Thank you!

If you want a fairy tale wedding then this is the place. My niece had her wedding here this past weekend and it was breathtaking. The views, the manor, the food, the accommondations, the service....everything was perfect. If you are looking for your dream wedding, this is the place to have it. We could not have been happier.

We had a wonderful experience hosting our wedding reception at this beautiful venue. Our guests loved the charm and elegance of the manor, as well as the warm and inviting atmosphere. We also had family stay overnight after the wedding, and sharing breakfast together the next morning made the celebration even more special.
One of the highlights for me was the serving staff. They were consistently polite, professional, and genuinely friendly throughout the event.

During the planning process, we did experience some challenges due to unclear communication and a lack of transparency from the sales representative, which led to several difficult back-and-forth conversations. However, everything ultimately came together beautifully, thanks in large part to our incredible wedding coordinator, Nicole Nieves. She was professional, kind, attentive, and truly focused on making sure everything went smoothly. She went above and beyond my expectations, and I especially appreciated her calm, down-to-earth attitude and support throughout the process.

Overall, it was a positive and memorable experience. If I were to do it again, I might choose a smaller venue simply because it’s an incredibly large ballroom and we were unable to have all of our expected guests attend due to the war and travel restrictions. Even so, we are grateful for the beautiful memories we were able to create there.

The View at Bluemont is a beautiful, well-kept, and spacious venue with a hardworking, kind, and professional team. I was a florist for two separate weddings at this venue and I worked directly with Nicole, who is a gem and highly competent. They were communicative and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. The venue itself is stunning, with breathtaking views that create the perfect backdrop for a wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I highly recommend The View at Bluemont to any couple looking for a gorgeous and well-managed wedding venue.

Starting out wedding planning, we met with Nicholas Suarez in June 2023 to look at a few venues. Once we saw the View at Bluemont, we knew it was the one. Not only is the venue and view stunning, but what really sold us was the onsite lodging and how we can book the venue for the entire weekend (Friday to Sunday). We booked our wedding on a Saturday in May 2024. Being able to book Friday through Sunday was such a perk having the bridal suite to get ready the morning of, not stress on timing or traveling the morning of, have the rehearsal onsite, and enjoy the venue for the whole weekend with my bridal party and family.
Fast forward a few months, we got an email from Nicholas apologizing and letting us know they double booked our wedding weekend. They booked a wedding at the venue on Friday so I will no longer have access to the venue or onsite lodging for the weekend but now only have access to the venue on my wedding day (Saturday) at 3pm (wedding starts at 5pm). We were disappointed and asked if the newly booked Friday wedding could be moved since we know I booked our contract first, months ago. We had already planned rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and activities onsite for Friday. After not receiving a response back from Nicholas for 3 days, we decided to follow-up with another email to see if there were any updates. After 2 more days went by with no response, we called Nicholas to get an update on the situation but didn’t answer, so we left a voicemail. He finally emailed back saying he forwarded along our first email 5 days ago to the venue owners and said, “they don’t have a response, so I don’t have a response.” We were frustrated at this point, to have a change with our venue on our wedding weekend dropped on us and then feel like we were being ignored. Just updating us know it was being looked into would have been appreciated. It was impossible to talk to either Nicholas or the owners over the phone, even after multiple requests for meetings to resolve. I know things can be resolved quicker in conversation versus emailing back and forth. Our emailing concluded with them telling us we could either just have the venue on Saturday or we need to cancel and find another venue. Anyone wedding planning knows, with the wedding just 8 months out at this point, I’ve already booked/signed contracts most of my vendors for that wedding date and location. There’s really no way to change the venue or wedding date at that point without major financial repercussions in cancelations. I understand things happen, but it really concerned us with how unprofessional they were in this situation. We had to adjust our plans and purchase additional lodging to make sure everyone had a place to stay. We also now no longer could hold the rehearsal onsite before the wedding.
On our wedding day, we arrived onsite to get ready and were shocked to hear that the basement was no longer accessible. When we booked the venue, the basement was the grooms suite. It had a bar, couches, fridge, bathroom, and a large bedroom with 2 king beds. We only learned that morning that the basement was no longer available and just used for storage now. I planned for my wedding party and family to stay on site and now we are short 2 bedrooms causing scrambling and additional stress the morning of the wedding trying to figure out where people will stay now. There was an option for the left-over reception food to be saved or tossed. We chose to save it to eat and not be wasteful but found out the morning after that the catering team threw out all the food. They apologized and gave us a $250 refund (which is less than the price of one plate we paid for the reception food).
This is a beautiful venue. I just want other brides to be aware of our experience, so this doesn’t happen to them. The lack of communication and how unprofessional they were in handling any situation that arises, really put a big damper on our whole wedding experience. If I had known the amount stress and problems this venue planning team caused, I would have not booked this venue.
