    The venue was beautiful, Mary was excellent and made for an absolutely perfect day!!

    The venue at Rafter E was more than I could imagine. It was both beautiful and romantic, the perfect place to get married.

    Best experience!

    This place was so amazing, we did an elopement package with them and they took care of basically everything! From the cake, to the chairs and tables and decor set up, to the bride and groom florals and even photography. And the venue was so beautiful I would recommend it to anyone, even if you’re not doing an elopement package. Could not have asked for more!

    What a wonderful experience!

    We couldn't be happier with The Venue in Fredericksburg. The location is beautiful, and the Eckerts made sure that everything was just perfect for our special day. We chose an elopement package for ourselves and some of our family, and everyone complemented the entire experience. We are so glad that we found this venue!

    Hill Country Gem

    We have had the pleasure of working with Mary at Venue at Rafter E on a couple occasions. The venue is beautiful, spacious, and well appointed. Mary was professional and helpful in every way. If you are looking for a rustic-chic Hill Country Gem- you found it!

    The Venue at Rafter E Ranch

    We would not have changed a thing! We booked this venue 1 year in advance during the covid pandemic and everything went as planned. The owners Mary and her husband were always prompt in answering their emails and having their presence there during our set up and reception made us very comfortable. They are a beautiful couple themselves and the whole day went smoothly. Not only do they have a beautiful large venue in a perfect ranch style setting they also had a key selling point, to letting us set up the day before the wedding which was good for me. I am the type of bride that would rather take control and decorate the venue with our families than to have vendors decorate it for us. To my surprise they even offered a hand!
    The whole experience was wonderful and we would HIGHELY recommended it to other couples who are looking for a ranch style venue as the venue's service is definitely there.

    Awesome venue

    I can't tell you how PERFECT The Venue at Rafter E Ranch was for our wedding! Family and friends are still raving about the beautiful venue and the views. We had about 220 guests and a large live band/dance floor and the venue fit our guests perfectly. The bridal and grooms suites are spectacular and my girls loved having their hair and makeup done at the spacious makeup bar with plenty of natural light. The owners constantly went above and beyond to make our day special...anything from extravagantly decorating for our beautiful Christmas wedding, allowing us to visit to plan months in advance, and they were very attentive the day of our event. The ceremony site was well groomed with shockingly green grass (in the middle of winter...again props to the owners) and huge oak trees that overlooked the rolling hills. It's STUNNING and even more beautiful at sunset. There are so many gorgeous photo opportunities at this venue and their ranch. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out so awesome with the perfect backdrop. If you are looking for a venue, please book a tour here because the pictures just do NOT do this place justice! The customer service exceeded all of my expectations!

    My company catered a wedding for a family member of the venue's owners

    I love the space at the Venue at Rafter E. It is always very clean, organized and the management is always very communicative through email as well as during the event. The property is gorgeous and it is a wonderful place to share special moments with loved ones in the Texas Hill Country. Highly Recommend!

    Excellent Venue ---The Eckerts are extremely helpful and kind!

    The Venue at Rafter E Ranch met our expectations and more. The owner Mary and Brian Eckert were extremely helpful and gracious. The setting back in the hills of Fredericksburg and breathtaking and super close to town and the airport.

    Beautiful Venue

    I had a dream of what my wedding would look like and as a bride you always want everything to be perfect! I could not have been happier having our wedding at The Venue at Rafter E Ranch! It is beautiful, classy, elegant, and a little rustic touch! The owners were very accommodating and helpful as we planned out our big day!

    The scenery was beautiful and we even got an awesome sun set! There was plenty of room to eat, gather, and dance the night and away! I would definitely recommend this venue :)

    We love working at The Venue!

    The Royal Dukes Band loves The Venue at Rafter E Ranch! Mary and Kaylee are an absolute pleasure, and we were so honored when Mary asked us to perform at her daughter’s wedding! This was one for the books! The venue is gorgeous, and the staff is so friendly and responsive. We couldn’t recommend them more. Looking forward to our next event at Rafter E!

    Dream Venue

    Perfect setting

    The Venue at Rafter E was a beautiful location and facility for my daughters wedding. It was clean and well care for. The views were priceless. Everything they promised was delivered.

    Beautiful Hill Country Wedding Venue

    I recently photographed a wedding at this beautiful venue! The owner was extremely kind & professional. From a wedding photographer's perspective: This venue photographs AMAZINGLY! The bridal suite is full of natural light, and the sunsets - phenomenal for romantic portraits! The reception space is large & extremely convenient to capture dancing & events with off camera flash. 10 / 10 would recommend this gem of a venue.

    Breathtaking Views & Friendly Staff!

    My husband and I are a photographer team from Dallas, Tx - We shot a wedding at The Venue at Rafter E. Ranch for the first time this past weekend, and it went off without a hitch! The venue staff was present, and ready to help in any way. They made sure the day went as smooth as possible for our Bride & Groom. Very accommodating, very friendly, and truly has the bride and grooms best interest at heart! We hope we get the chance to visit this gorgeous venue again!

    BBQ Vendor

    As a caterer, we are always at different venues. This venue is beautiful!! The owners vision is seen throughout the venue! I loved the set up, the kitchen, the doors that open up into the hill country views! You can't go wrong, space is perfect!

    Beautiful Space and Great Team!

    The Ranch is an amazing place. The sunset was picturesque. The team of staff was great to work with. They helped with the logistics of transporting over 150 guest to their venue. We look forward to working with them again on the next special day.

    Outstanding Venue

    Outstanding - rustic elegance!

    Literally such a STUNNING venue. The owners have outstanding communication and stay onsite to help with anything venue related that might come up. The views are amazing and there’s so so much room. The outdoor patio gives a perfect breeze so even on our wedding day that was 95 degrees, the patio wasn’t uncomfortably hot. There are sooooo many areas for photos to keep things unique. We had about 250 guests and during Covid there was plenty of room for people to distance and feel comfortable. They definitely run a tight ship which only means they’re facility is going to stay beautiful for soooo many years to come. We had so many compliments on how naturally beautiful the site was and that only helped save us money on decor because we didn’t have to start from the bottom at all. I could not recommend The Venue At Rafter E Ranch enough!!

    All about service

    The owner and staff at Rafter E are so gracious and ready to do anything they can to help accommodate and make everything run smoothly. They are cheerful and attentive. The view overlooking a valley in the hill country is absolutely breath taking especially at sunset! I love that everything is close together so you're not running across fields all day to get from one building to another. The bride's room is bright and roomy with a long makeup counter. It's great for big bridal parties and the photos look great with all the natural light.

    Perfect venue!

    The Venue at Rafter E Ranch was perfect for my wedding. Mary was very kind and accommodating. When having to reschedule because of Covid-19, Mary was very flexible and let me choose another date with no fees. The scenery outside the venue made a beautiful backdrop for my pictures!

    Beautiful countryside and Views

    If you want dramatic 280 degree views, overlooking the beautiful Hill Country, The Venue at Rafter E is made for you! Wonderful facilities, spacious enough for even the largest events, patios and tons of parking, you have to see it. The staff is so friendly and helpful, I can't recommend this venue highly enough! I wish there were more stars.

    What a Setting!

    What an amazing setting for any event and what a stellar and majestic facility! Mind you this is from the musician's perspective but I've peformed at wedding venues from Texas to Montana and this one is up there among the best of them. --jam
