I had the best experience with The Venlist. I was fortunate to work with two great planners, first Kyra, and then Brittany. Kyra really understood what I was going for and was excellent at helping me plan, so I was bummed when she left. However, Brittany is absolutely amazing. She’s the absolute best at what she does. She goes above and beyond for you and she will definitely deal with any vendor issues you may have. Brittany is the main reason why my wedding vision was properly executed and brought to life. The Notion platform was perfect in keeping track of all things wedding, and I loved the style of it. Brittany is such a great person and easy to connect with. I will definitely keep in touch with her even after my wedding. -

Working with Erin Avery (The VenList) was more than a dream - she is a dream maker, fantasy creator, and one of the most organized people we’ve ever worked with. There honestly aren't words that capture the depth of our appreciation for her work. She took us through the whole journey as our virtual planner, guided us through the panic moments, saw the potential in our vision, and as our Day-Of Coordinator ensured we have the most magical wedding we could have ever dreamed up. She respected our budget, never wanted us to compromise on our vision, found vendors who could bring that vision to life, and made us feel like family the entire experience.
Erin brings a profound attention to detail, care for us as a couple, calming spirit, and gentle smile to every person she interacts with. A major shoutout goes to Erin Avery, our wedding planner. She was THE instrumental piece that allowed our wedding to go off without a hitch. From the very beginning of planning, scheduling meetings, researching vendors, and actual game day execution, Erin made our day less stressful, took our "idea" of what the day was going to look like, and helped our wedding come to beautiful fruition. Her professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and just plain nicest personality made the planning process made us feel like we were in great hands. We used the Venlist for our day-of-coordination service and it was fantastic! From the initial booking, Brittany was personable, warm, and so easy to work with! We worked with Ashely as our month of coordinator and are so happy we did. She made our day so seamless. I didn't have to think about logistics one time, everything just happened.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Erin. I planned my wedding over a 2 year period and Erin was there every step of the way helping with vendor selection, timelines, site visits, and any question I could possibly have. She was very timely with her responses, extremely organized, and was always down to jump on a zoom call with me. My wedding would not have been what it was without Erin's help, I feel very lucky to have had her as a day of coordinator! -

I cannot say enough incredible things about Erin. Above and beyond does not begin to cover it! Look no further for any of your wedding planning needs.
We hired Erin for our month of coordinator almost 2 years in advance. From the beginning, she was very responsive, informative, kind, and helpful. I am pretty organized, and she consistently thought of questions I didn't! I was very impressed with her demeanor with myself and the rest of our vendors.
Our venue required a pre-approved coordinator, and Erin took the steps to contact them to make sure she would work out, and we are so glad she did!
She did everything she said she would and then some. She reached out to all of our vendors, worked with us on our timeline (many times!), attended our rehearsal, and never got frustrated even when we had a lot going on.
Erin felt more like a friend than a coordinator, and we are so happy we got to spend our special day with her.
Our day went so smoothly from start to finish, and we know this is due to Erin's impeccable attention to detail.
If you are looking to have an incredible day with a crisp timeline and no stress - Erin is your gal! -

The Top Wedding Planner in the DMV
You can stop scrolling now. You’ve been looking for Britany, owner of The Venlist. Although her title is wedding planner, my wife and I discovered that she is so much more. Britany is an adept listener, negotiator, advocate, therapist, and now friend. We didn’t make it easy on her either. We had to hire all outside vendors for a historic venue that was often frustrating to work with. Yet time and again, Britany found solutions. She created our dream wedding and will do the same for you. -

We were so happy to have Brittany & the Venlist Team on board for our Wedding. From setting up the small details on the big day, to coordinating everything in between with the Church Ceremony & CH/ Reception. I found the Venlist after listening to the HueIDo podcast and I'm so grateful that I did.
After struggling in the initial phase of wedding planning including paying too much for a wedding dress, I was grateful to find affordable support to help me and my now husband with the many decisions required to wedding plan. We chose the virtual wedding planning option which allowed us to meet monthly with Brittany via Google Meet. Because we no longer live in the DMV area, Brittany helped us with locating our vendors including event rentals, wedding dress alterations, rehearsal dinner venue, florist, etc. Because we really wanted to stay within our budget, Brittany made sure we were securing vendors within budget each month and when it was time to transition to our day-of-coordinator, who we also found via the VenList, Brittany made sure we felt comfortable with the transition and everything went wonderfully.
If you are looking for vendor recommendations and/or want assistance with wedding planning which I highly suggest as it makes things way less stressful, I would highly recommend the Venlist!!! Thank you so much, Brittany and the Venlist for helping us make our wedding vision come true! -

The Venlist kept was pivotal in my wedding planning!
I'm so thankful I found The Venlist! I started planning my wedding alone, got overwhelmed when finding vendors, and just wanted to quit. I realized a wedding planner was what I needed, but they are all so expensive. Thankfully, I found Brittany from The Venlist and her reasonably priced vendor hunting services. I figured I could still handle planning myself as long as I had her in my corner, providing me potential vendors that fit my needs/price point, and I was right.
I'm so glad I trusted Brittany for her services. She put me at ease from our initial meeting; learned my priorities and budget; and found the vendors I needed for me to make my wedding day amazing! Once I found Brittany, the wedding planning process was much more manageable as I knew she would find me the right vendors. She found me the perfect venue, a last minute florist, and multiple other vendors. Thanks Brittany for all your help!!! -

YES! I am a type A individual who planned a wedding in Alexandria from my home in Michigan during the pandemic(-ish) all with the help of Brittany at Venlist! We had a small wedding at a relative's home in Old Town, Alexandria which was incredible but brought its own obstacles with it. Brittany helped identify vendors within my budget, understood the vision of my small family centered wedding, made sure all the t's were crossed with the contracts, assisted with decor planning all by looking at online photos of the house, and then executed the best day of my life on my wedding day. She went above and beyond - arriving early, setting up the decor, walking all over town for more flowers, gathering the men and the dog for the ceremony, and making sure the transitions were smooth between different portions of the night. She was 100% in control but also so discrete and friendly that many people just thought she was a guest! I would 10/10 recommend her and the company to anyone looking for an DOC in DC. -

The Venlist : Professional, Timely, and Organized!
I worked with Brittany from The Venlist on a series of styled shoots in Washington, DC. I can't say enough good things about this virtual wedding planning business. Brittany was organized, thoughtful, timely in communication, professional, and extremely calm under pressure. As a wedding photographer, I've worked with many wedding vendors and can recognize when an event is set up for success. Successful wedding planners need skills in time management, communication, and attention to detail. With The Venlist, all of these areas exceeded my expectations.
