Any brides looking for a wedding photographer… you need to hire The Veil for you wedding!!! Choosing Amanda and Landon was one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process….you won’t regret it. 😊

Amanda and Landon were an absolute dream to work with! Both of them are soooo kind and down to Earth. All of our family and friends at the wedding that interacted with them adored them and later commented on how friendly and professional they were. My husband hates getting his picture taken, and he later told me that he wasn’t even bothered or annoyed by the amount of photos we took. They have a way of making very shy people feel comfortable in front of the camera.

They helped make our wedding day easy and flow so beautifully, and I will be forever grateful for that! In the planning process I was so worried about how our timelines would end up and how we would get all of the pictures taken, but after one discussion with Amanda and Landon all of my worries were put to rest. They really are SO talented, and we are extremely grateful that they worked with us as our wedding photographers. They helped us capture the wedding photos of our dreams, and have provided us with memories that we will cherish forever. ❤ We appreciate every ounce of effort and every single detail the two of them put into the day!

Kind-hearted, talented photographers

Amanda and Landon are such talented photographers, but they are also the most kind-hearted individuals. I chose to hire Amanda and Landon because of their talent, but more importantly because they listened to what I wanted and treated me like a friend and not just a client. I knew I wanted to hire them the second I got off our first phone call. While Landon was taking the photographs, Amanda was making sure my makeup and hair was on point and helped with lipstick and hair touch-ups, which I was very thankful to have a female there to look out for those details. We are so excited to get our wedding photographs because we know they are going to be beautiful just like every wedding they have done. When me and my husband first got engaged I knew one of the more important things to me was finding a good photographer to capture our special day. From the moment I met Amanda and Landon I knew they were it for us. They are both so sweet and down to earth and made us feel very comfortable the whole day. Not to mention that Landon takes amazing photos!! I truly cannot express how amazed, over the moon, happy & BLOWN AWAY we are by our wedding photos. Amanda & Landon produce an absolutely stunning product. We have only received a small sneak peek (our wedding was only a few weeks ago on 2/17/18 - and already they have about 30 sneak peeks for us!! how awesome is that!?), but I was so blown away with how gorgeous the photos are that I immediately came here to write a review for truly the best photographers I've ever seen. From my first phone call with Amanda, I knew The Veil was the perfect fit for Paul and I. Amanda is fun loving, outgoing, and TRULY cares about giving her brides the best day of their life. Landon is a GENIUS. The moments he's captured thus far (with absolutely PERFECT lighting) are unbelievable. The Veil captured the best day of our entire life and everytime I look at just these sneak peek photos my eyes fill with tears of JOY. With The Veil, you're not just getting a photographer, but a friend, confidant, wedding planner, and two people who go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make your wedding day as another reviewer said perfectly = pure magic. I can't recommend Landon & Amanda at The Veil Wedding Photography highly enough! They are equal parts talented, kind and professional! From my first interaction with Amanda on the phone to the moment we saw all our beautiful photos, we have been nothing but pleased and amazed at the quality of service we received from them. Honestly the photographer was the biggest source of stress when it came to budgeting (I know ladies, it's a lot!), and finding the right one - but I am SO glad I choose this team. I simply do not have the words to describe how overjoyed we are with our wedding photos! Landon is a true master, and we cannot believe what beautiful images he captured of our wedding. We will have them to treasure for a lifetime! When we hired The Veil we wanted someone who could perfectly capture the special, emotional moments and details of our day. The Veil’s portfolio spoke volumes, and from the very first moment we met with them we could tell that they took personal pride in giving the highest quality service. Throughout the entire year they stayed connected with all their brides through a private Facebook group in which they shared tips, did giveaways, answered questions and planned meet ups! Landon and Amanda made such a perfect team on our wedding day. We had a long and eventful New Years Eve wedding! They worked tirelessly for 12 hours, they posed us expertly, and they kept us happy and excited the entire time. When we got our photos back they literally took our breath away. Pure magic. Landon and Amanda were awesome! Unfortunately Amanda was unable to make it to my wedding, however they were able to find another photographer to work alongside Landon without causing any panic on my end. During our wedding Landon took the time to really evaluate all the areas in order to find the best light. She was very precise, quick and motivated with every thing he did. Amanda was very responsive with emails and kept me updated on everything. The couple was very friendly and my husband and I really enjoyed working with them. Now....the photos.....THEY WERE AMAZING!!!. My husband and I love every one of our pictures and many of our friends and family say that it is obvious we had a great time and you can see the story of our day. The photographs were very important to me and The Veil Wedding Photography delivered 100%. I highly recommend them!!!

Amanda and Landon were phenomenal for both our engagement and our wedding pictures. Landon and Amanda are two of the most wonderful human beings I have ever met. And what's better - they have a God-given talent in photography. Amanda and Landon are such a blessing. I started off with selecting the wrong photographer who long story short screwed my husband and us over. In an effort to find a photographer I started requesting information from just about anyone. At the same time Amanda was told to contact me through some mutual friends. It was almost as though fate was taking over. Just emailing back in forth in that first conversation I was sold. Amanda was extremely personable and I loved their work. Amanda took the time to call me around my crazy night shifter schedule and I'm pretty sure our conversation was just about anything other than photography. It felt as though we were life long friends but I still wanted to meet them before we decided plus I hadn't really spoken to Landon. After meeting with both of them we were 110% sold. My husband and I are kind of awkward in front of the camera and during our engagement shoot Amanda and Landon took the time to make us feel comfortable and our photos came out looking great. Despite being pressed for time at our wedding Amanda and Landon did everything possible to get all the photos we wanted. They came out great and it did not take that I was very impressed. My favorite thing about Amanda and Landon is they take the time to get to know their clients. They follow you on social media, they will go to dinner with you, they take the time out of their busy schedule to ask you how everything is going and if you need anything. They are in your corner and give you advice on anything wedding that they can. Even after the wedding they are still extremely helpful and do anything possible to try and make your life a little less complicated. I can not express how extremely grateful my husband and I are for these two. Booking them as our photographer was probably one of our best decisions.

The Veil Photography is a must have vendor!! I was told that I was crazy getting married in NC and choosing a photographer from FL, but I would do it again and again! I unfortunately got married during hurricane Matthew, Amanda and Landon left 3 days early to make sure that there were no issues and that I was promised photographers if nothing else for my wedding! As a photographer myself, I was picky about whom I selected to capture my favorite day. The Veil Photography will go above and beyond your expectations on every level, and at the end you will be friends for life! I would urge any couples trying to find a photographer, to consider booking with The Veil! I can't speak highly enough of Amanda and Landon. They are wonderful and caring people, and they are gifted photographers who will perfectly capture all your treasured moments on your wedding day. My husband and I went through a tumultuous experience when the photographer we originally booked was unresponsive, and we discovered that she had previously operated under a different business name with less than desirable feedback. At a time when I was overwhelmed, upset, and filled with anxiety over no longer having a photographer, Amanda and Landon swooped in and saved the day! Not only were they flexible with fitting us into their schedule only a few short months before our wedding, they also found time in their busy schedules to squeeze us in for an engagement session, and most importantly, they comforted us at a time when we were overcome with nerves. I truly believe that everything we went through happened for a reason, and that reason was to lead us to The Veil! I could not be happier with the beautiful photos that Landon and Amanda captured for our engagement, and the sneak peeks that I have received from our wedding have left me swooning, and I can't wait to see the rest of them!

One of the most important elements of planning a wedding is responsiveness, and I simply can't praise Amanda and Landon enough for the way they stay in close contact with their clients. They give amazing direction for those who have not spent time being photographed and may be a little awkward or uncomfortable in front of the camera(**emphatically raising hand** - my husband, however, is a total natural - just my luck haha)! The value of these services, for the time they spend getting all the right shots and the quality of the images you will receive, is unbeatable! Amanda and Landon are extremely down-to-earth, and I can say without hesitation, that you should book this photographer!

I absolutely loved working with The Veil Wedding Photography!! My wedding was a week and a half ago and Landon and Amanda were amazing to work with. They did our engagement as well as wedding photos and both completely exceeded our expectations! Not only is their work gorgeous, but they are great people, super helpful and accommodating, got to know us as a couple, and were willing to work with us as much as possible to make sure all of our needs and desires were met. As far as the wedding day, the two of them make a great team and were very on top of things. They were extremely organized and I felt very confident in their ability to capture every detail of our day. Although I haven't yet received all of our photos, I am already in love with the sneak peaks I have seen. I would recommend these amazing people to any couple looking for the perfect photographer for their special day!!

Amanda and Landon have been wonderful to work with, we recently took our engagement pictures and they turned out beautifully. Not only were they willing to travel to Gainesville, they came to the area a week prior to make sure we were as efficient as possible on the day of. Amanda and Landon were a blast to work with! When we were taking our engagement photos we got rained of our planned outdoor shoot and ended up doing an unplanned shoot in our apartment which turned out so sweet! They came back a few weeks later for a second engagement shoot (perfect weather this time!) which turned out beautifully! They even sent us a sweet wedding gift a few weeks before the big day :) During the wedding they were so efficient and were able to get our requested shots quickly so we could rejoin the party. Our wedding was only a week ago but they have already gotten several edited shots to us which we've loved! We can't wait to see the rest and would absolutely recommend The Veil Wedding Photography!

The Veil Photography recently shot our engagement photos and we received all of the images today. Our wedding isn't until 2017, but I couldn't wait that long to write a review. To say that these photos are outstanding and beautiful just wouldn't be enough to describe them. Landon and Amanda truly have a gift for capturing such special moments through the eyes of a lens. The photos are absolutely gorgeous! The way the captured not only my fiance and I, but the scenery is just magical. We are in love with our photos and are honored to be working with such a talented vendor. We knew we chose the right photographers when during our shoot we felt comfortable, at ease, and at one point even started joking around with Landon. It felt so natural to be around him. He made us feel very relaxed which we were very grateful for. The day of our shoot, it was supposed to rain, Landon was incredibly flexible with us to make sure we were still able to have the shoot that that day, (luckily no rain!). Even though there was no rain, it was incredibly hot and humid. Landon never once complained. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and kept clicking away. I would consider myself a pretty particular bride in knowing what I want. They delivered to a TEE and beyond. Our photos are gorgeous and our experience was absolutely FUN (which is what anything related to a wedding should be). I cannot say enough words to describe this company's work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Veil Photography. They made our experience stress free and I have so much confidence in knowing we chose the BEST photographer to shoot our 2017 wedding. Best. Wedding. Photographers. Ever.

Photography was one of the most important things to us when it came to our wedding. We had a very specific type of photography in mind and couldn’t locate an available photographer in the Dominican Republic who meshed with our style. After finding The Veil online we fell in love with their portfolio and met with them via Skype to confirm the booking. The communication before the wedding was superb, and Amanda developed a photography timeline with our input, and never seemed put out or annoyed by our numerous requests for additions or subtractions from the timeline.

We were nervous about hiring people who’d never visited the resort where we were getting married, especially since they weren’t arriving until the day before our wedding, but felt that their photographs were worth the risk. It turned out we had nothing to be worried about. Landon and Amanda arrived and immediately started scouting the resort for photography locations. They attended a welcome party we had for all the guests that joined us and instantly fit in with our friends and family. The day of the wedding they were a pleasure to work with. I have numerous examples of them going above and beyond to capture great shots and their photos show that dedication. Landon and Amanda are amazingly talented photographers and even better people. Neither of them ever once got frustrated, or if they did they didn’t show it, and they were able to provide firm direction to us, our bridal party, and family members while also being engaging and friendly. Nearly every one of our guests raved about them and we can’t count the times that we’ve heard “your photos should be in a magazine” from friends, family, and even strangers. I feel so fortunate that we had the good luck to hire them, and those photographers became friends during the course of our wedding. I cannot recommend them highly enough and I know you will not be disappointed if you choose The Veil Wedding Photography.

Amanda and Landon were FANTASTIC to work with! As a bride planning a Florida wedding from Virginia, I had to rely on reviews to pick my photographers. I came across The Veil from WeddingWire and after talking to Amanda on the phone was pretty much sold! The things that stuck out to me about them is that they offer fantastic value for their prices. They arrived the day of the wedding at 11:30am and didn't leave until after our grand exit at 9:30pm! Most other photographers will leave after the cake cutting or only guarantee 5 hours, but with Landon and Amanda, they were there and captured every important moment from beginning until end! I was a little nervous leading up to the wedding because we didn't get a chance to meet them until the day of the wedding and I didn't know what to expect. But as soon as they walked in, Amanda's bubbly personality and Landon's obvious knowledge about photography immediately put me at ease. We decided to do a first look and are SO GLAD we did because it allowed us to get some really beautiful pictures before our wedding and took all the pressure off in "rushing" to get them completed in between the ceremony and reception. Instead, we saved that time to take a few family pictures and then the rest of the night was dedicated to having fun! The day after the wedding, I was very surprised and excited to get a "sneak peak" of about 15 photos from our wedding which turned out beautifully. I can't wait to see what the rest of the pictures look like and know they will be amazing just based upon the 15 that we've already seen!

We loved having Amanda & Landon as our wedding photographers. Amanda & Landon did a wonderful job capturing our big day along with another big moment. We couldn't be happier! James and I decided to have a 2 year engagement to make sure that we had plenty of time to plan & save. One of the first decisions I made was the photographer. I am completely OCD. I wanted to make sure I chose someone who was just as critical. As soon as I met Amanda, I knew I made the right choice. Her instructions & lists seemed like something I would have made. I liked the fact that she wanted to get together to meet before doing business. I feel like a wedding is an intimate occasion & you should feel comfortable with the person documenting this memorable day. The duo made me so comfortable that I had them document another special moment.. A year into our 2 year engagement we found that we were pregnant. we wanted to share this joyous moment in a unique way. We asked Amanda to do a baby announcement shoot and she was overwhelmed with happiness to be in on the surprise. The duo fit us in right away so we could announce our little one ASAP. They even went out of their way to buy props to use in the shoot. Everyone loved our announcement & now we have wonderful pics to remember it. A year later & we reach the actual planned day. Even after submitting our desires for pictures on paper, Amanda made sure to call before the wedding to iron out each & every detail. She gave her plans and asked us what our expectations of her & Landon were. On the big day, they showed up on time & ready to work. They did a great job on getting all the shots we desired & took some beautiful detailed shots of a lot of key objects in our wedding. We feel blessed to have met two wonderful photographers that truly care about their clients! Thank you Amanda & Landon for all you two have done! Amanda and Landon are amazing photographers. We were beyond happy with their work and their professionalism. I literally gasped when I saw our sneak peek photos from them. I could not believe that these amazing pictures were of my husband and me! We had so much fun with them on both our engagement shoot and at our wedding. Wow...where do I begin? As a bride, one of the most important things to me were the photos. I researched numerous photographers and finally came across Amanda and Landon approximately a year before my wedding. When I talked to Amanda on the phone we connected instantly, and she listened patiently to all of my concerns. Our engagement pictures were totally and completely unique. She and Landon found a great location to match our theme and captured everything effortlessly. As I was planning my wedding, I researched quite a few photographers. After speaking with 3 different photographers, I was finding it hard to really click with someone and feel comfortable with them capturing my big day. Amanda and her husband were fabulous! They met with us beforehand to get to know us and walked around the ceremony site (Castillo de San Marcos) to see what spots we liked and what we were looking for in our photos. They showed up very early and stayed until they captured everything we asked them to. I liked that throughout the night she would ask to borrow the rings, bouquet, etc because she had an idea or wanted to snap a certain pic with those items. Multiple guests commented to me how friendly and professional they both were. She had some preview pics up on her blog within a few days (which are beautiful!) And I cant wait for the rest of the pictures! It is obvious Amanda and Landon are passionate about what they do and project this enthusiasm into every picture they take. Definitely definitely definitely recommended!

Amanda and Landon did an outstanding job on our wedding shoot. My wife and I knew when we first met them for our engagement shoot that we had made the perfect choice for our Big Day! I cannot begin to thank Amanda Jayne Photography enough for capturing the most beautiful photos of both my husbands and I's engagement shoot and Wedding Day. The pictures were more than we expected and they caught some moments we didn't even realize were happening until we saw them for ourselves. We recently had our Engagement photos done by Amanda Jayne Photography. We are so happy with the way they came out!! Amanda and her husband are very professional with their work, they knew how to make us feel at ease and comfortable during the session. At the same time, they were open to our ideas too. I mentioned to Amanda that I liked the antique affect; she remembered and sent some of the pictures in antique!! We have Amanda Jayne Photography booked for our wedding in April 2013 and we definitely plan to use her many more times after that!!

We could not have been more pleased with Amanda Jayne Photography who provided memories of our daughter's wedding that we will enjoy for years to come. This is a husband and wife team to love each other so much, they now how to bring that out in the couples they shoot. They have a way of making you feel like you are their only client, and that is not the case at all as they stay busy. Just check out their websiite. Tell then what you want and they will do all they can to make your wishes come true. From our experience, turning them loose to let then do what they do best, will not be a disappointment.

We received professional attention before the engagement pictures were even scheduled, and are still receiving professional attention, as we had an additional need post wedding to include in the wedding photos. Our daughter and her new husband have joined their precious families of three children together. They decided to do a separate sand ceremony after they returned from their honeymoon. This ceremony will be a little different and be something that each child will participate in. They have suggested that we go back to the venue of the wedding and do the ceremony there so the pictures will blend in with the rest of the special moments of the day.

They took real time pictures during the wedding ceremony, posed photos after, portraits at dusk for special lighting, they worked with the bride and groom during engagement and wedding photos to capture the personality, the love they share. Absolutely gorgeous.

We also hired a videographer who they worked so well with. The photography and the video compliment each other. You would never know the two businesses are not the same business.

The best advice I can give you for booking The Veil Photography would be, DO IT! I was referred to them by a co-worker and they were phenomenal. We have only seen our sneak peak, but have loved every single one of them and cannot wait to see the rest. They made sure to capture all the moments and poses we wanted. They took the time give check out my pinterest to see my style and what I was looking for in engagement and wedding pictures. Amanda is also extremely organized, always on time and they are both very flexible.

It has taken me sometime to write this review because we are so upset about the poor quality and professionalism of the Veil. This was my daughters wedding, she is also unhappy about the photos, but what can you do the day of the wedding can't be recreated for a re-shoot. First of all, the contract promised 2 photographers, in fact only one was taking pictures at any one time. So many missed ANGLES for beautiful shots were missed, also very little thought by the photographer about the composition of the photo, simple things as arranging the veil so it didn't look ackward, over exposure (MOST OF THE PICS IN THE CHURCH WERE OVER EXPOSED) My daughter chose this photographer, and I say it would have been worth to pay more for truly good photography as this was truly amateur work. Too many shots of people looking down or to the side ( that is a tip that the photographer is not very good by the way), NOT ONE photo of the bride classical photo full body by herself. NOT ONE!, Poorly arrange veil, were was the 2nd photographer? that wasn't taking pictures? She should have been making sure the composition was well done. So this is the TIP for everyone, when you see a portfolio that has only very few samples of pictures and the choices are too selective Beware!, when a lot of the pictures have people looking down or to the side Beware. It is harder to capture the moments that are not so easy, like looking at the camera with different people, children included in the group etc.. If the portfolio mostly has Picture perfect photos without the elements that could bring challenge, or too many whimsmical overexposed photos; do some more comparison with other photographers. I had to write this, as I am going through the hundreds of photos with their Black and White companions, I can't find ONE good picture of our Family together or of our daughter by herself (ACTUALLY THERE IS NONE OF HER FULL BODY BY HERSELF) The Veil is so bad, we would not ask for a retake!

Do yourself a favor and do not do business with the The Veil Wedding Photography, unless you would like to pay a premium deposit, only to be cancelled on over 5 months later.

As I booked my wedding photography contract with Amanda in May she advised she needs a sizable deposit early as this is her only source of income, and needed to secure the date. After thinking one of the most stressful pieces of planning the wedding was complete, 5 months later I receive a printed out copy of an email(not even signed) advising my contract was cancelled.

"A few days ago one of my brides emailed to touch base with us and once I pulled up her contract I realized that it was for the same date. We use an Apple calendar so that it's syncs with all of our devices. Apparently when we booked her, somehow her date didn't get updated in the calendar. Unfortunately because she was booked before your date we have to cancel our contract with you. I'm am so sorry for the mess up."

How do you not double check a date or know how to use a calendar app to confirm an appointment? What is a bride to do if she realized this 2 weeks before the big day?

Very unprofessional and a cause of exacerbated stress and difficulty trying to book with only a handful of months remaining. She offered to "help" by referring me to a friend who was MORE expensive! Egregiously poor business tact. I cannot stress enough what a poor experience overall this was. If I can save even 1 more bride the trouble of dealing with THE VEIL, then I consider that a moral victory of sorts. Her lack of empathy after canceling on me was the most galling part. Very dissatisfied.
