Working with The Veil Society was a DREAM! Jessica & Gia are incredibly talented and did my bridal hair and makeup even better than the inspiration pictures I showed them. They are the kindest individuals. I can’t wait to share professional pictures when I get them back.

Friendly, affordable, AMAZING at what they do
Highly recommend The Veil Society! I am out of state, and they accommodated doing my trial super early and on an off day because it was the only time I was in town before the wedding. Fast forward months later to my wedding day, I completely switched up what I wanted for hair and makeup and both Jessica and Jyl absolutely crushed it! They were the perfect team for my wedding day. I had 6 bridesmaids plus myself and my mom, and they easily accomplished getting us all done in less than 5 hours. All of us loved our hair and makeup, and it lasted all night (our makeup was not airbrush - I’m still amazed by that alone). They are friendly and personable, and very receptive to making sure you look the way you want to. I definitely felt incredible on my big day and would book them again in a heartbeat. -

Jessica did my hair for my wedding in December and she was absolutely amazing!!! Everything looked perfect and it was exactly what I wanted! She brought another coworker with her and together they were able to successfully finish my hair, my 10 bridesmaids, my mom, and mother in law! They were done well before the time I requested for us to be ready by. The Veil Society and specifically Jessica is so talented and the sweetest to work with! Highly recommend!! -

I had the best experience with The Veil Society servicing hair & makeup for my July 31st wedding! Jessica & Andrea did an amazing job. They were prompt the day of the wedding. Flowed through my bridal party & mothers & grandmother's seamlessly & had me ready to go for my first look with a great cushion of time to spare! Hair & makeup lasted all through the night & looked absolutely fabulous! My hair looked amazing & was exactly my vision & all of my girls said that when they showed an inspiration picture they got exactly what they wanted! I will continue to recommend The Veil Society to any fellow bride looking for hair & makeup for their biggest days!! Thank you Veil Society for making me look beautiful for my big day! -

Jessica and Andrea did a great job with our wedding hair and make up. They are so friendly and easy to work with! They traveled to the Villa we had rented for our wedding party at Gervasi Vineyard and spent the whole day there with us preparing our party, our mothers, and us for the wedding. It was so convenient and everyone looked beautiful! -

Wonderful to work with
Jessica and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with! They arrived right on time and didn’t rush through any girl, making sure everyone loved their look. Our bridal party had a wide range of hair types, and Jessica managed to give each girl a style they loved. Everyone looked chic and classic, and each bridesmaid was thrilled with their hair and makeup. Even behind masks, everyone’s eyes looked beautiful and bright!
I can’t recommend Jessica enough, and hope I have the opportunity to work with her again. -

I hired Jessica and Andrea to do hair and makeup for myself and all the women in my family on my wedding day and I couldn't be happier! I almost never wear make up or spend more than two minutes on my hair in the morning, so I wasn't sure how things would turn out. I wanted something classic, but natural and they delivered! They also were very professional and had everyone's hair and makeup (7 people in total!) done early! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality hair and make up in the greater Cleveland area. -

Beyond my expectations

Highly recommend!
Jessica did an amazing job doing my hair and makeup for my wedding. She also did my mothers, maid of honors, and 2 flower girls hair and makeup! She was incredibly efficient and got us all done ahead of schedule. She was also flexible with adding in a quick cut of my uncles hair. I would highly recommend using her for your big day! -

Absolutely amazing stylist
Jess is by far THE BEST stylist! She did my wedding hair and I was speechless when she was finished!! It was absolutely perfect and better than the inspiration photo I had shown her! If you are looking for someone to make you feel beautiful and confident on your big day, definitely would trust her with my hair!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!! She also did my bridesmaids hair and they were all so beautiful and very happy!! -

Jess did my hair for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in this summer (2020). My hair is pin straight and does not hold a curl. Jess took her time when curling my hair and it actually lasted! She is the best- kind, caring, personable and fun! -

Jessica and Jyl did my hair and makeup for my wedding as well as all my bridesmaids (8) and my mother-in-law. I absolutely loved my hair and makeup!! Both professionals were extremely helpful at my trial assisting me with pulling together my thoughts and executing the vision. They were also able to replicate the look on the big day. The on-site offering was extremely convenient for me and the girls since we were able to relax in the comfort of my home before a long day. A few pieces of feedback that led me not to leave a five star review. I'm sharing this because I would want to know the why, but please keep in mind that this is my experience and all occurred during the very stressful moments before my wedding day. First, I had a very small window of time to schedule my HMU trial. I was working over an hour from their location for an inflexible employer at the time, and I had to go back and forth with them a few times before they were able to accommodate a late afternoon time. During the trial and leading up to the wedding, my planner sent them a schedule with all the individuals who are receiving the service. The group wanted to start hair and makeup much earlier than our wedding planner did which was challenging for my bridesmaids (none of whom are morning people). The early bridesmaids arrived on time and the Veil Society team was about 20 minutes late. They staffed three hair professionals and one makeup professional which made makeup the slowest step of the morning. One of the hair professionals held a curling iron, and none of my bridesmaids noticed her helping with anyone's hair. She left early, but it put my mother-in-law in an awkward position whether or not to tip this professional. Most of my bridesmaids prefer no-makeup as their every day look, and a few of them expressed that they felt they were pressured into darker makeup and false eyelashes. One of my girls was adamant that she did not want false eyelashes and was convinced to try them and then had them taken off. This affected timing since there was only one makeup artist for everyone. Lastly, there were a few awkward moments with money. I was ordering Starbucks for the bridesmaids, and the HMU professionals asked if they could jump on the order. They ordered very expensive drinks relative to what the rest of the group ordered and did not offer to pay for them. They also brought up during the morning that I still owed them for one person's hair and makeup. They had the itinerary from the planner weeks in advance, so it was a little frustrating that they brought this up on the morning of the wedding in front of my wedding party. Overall, if I could do it over again, I would still choose to work with the Veil Society. I thought they did an excellent job with everyone's hair and makeup, and the morning ran smoothly. It was an affordable option for on-site hair and makeup services, and I did enjoy working with the team. I was not bothered by any of the considerations I shared, but if you are a person who would be, then I would recommend with reservations. -
