We got married on October 24th at the Troutdale House and it was such an amazing experience! I couldn't have asked for a better venue for my husband and I. It fit our vibe so well and our guests absolutely loved it!
The process was very straightforward and they provide so much amazing information when it comes to planning your perfect day. The coordinators are all super friendly and helpful. I had a great time planning with them and they were very accommodating to our needs.
I had such a great time at this venue and it truly felt like a fairy tale wedding. We had our ceremony in the Wisteria Courtyard and WOW was it amazing. It created the most unique ceremony with so many fun elements.
If you are looking for an absolutely gorgeous venue with lots of ways to have fun and enjoy your night, I would say the Troutdale House is the perfect pick for you!

Wonderdul experience! Couldn't be happier with the venue! It was absolutely beautiful, and it's very big with a lot of places for guests to go and hang out/talk. The outside where we had our ceremony was gorgeous, it had heaters and a cover hidden by vines (so we wouldnt have to worry if it rained). For anyone who likes the style of an outdoor wedding for pictures but doesnt particularly like being outside, or wants an outdoor wedding any time of the year, or is like me and hates being too cold or too hot, this is the BEST option ! Ours was in October, and it was 100% perfect. The venue coordinators were very helpful and accommodating, and we had so many little requests they came through on! They also have SO many decorations we were able to use, without extra charges! Which saved us a ton of money. This was the most affordable place we found after searching everywhere, and everything about it was perfect and beautiful! Our pictures are amazing with all the pretty lights they have up, and they let you use their sound system and have lights for dancing that went to the beat of whatever song... so we didnt even have to get a DJ (just used my spotify). There was a lot games for kids downstairs, so we didnt have to worry about entertaining them, and a speakeasy style area for guests to have a quiet place to talk or relax a bit. The dressing rooms had mini fridges in both, and steamers, and were super cool just in general. I could keep going on about how awesome this place is honestly, i wouldnt have changed a single thing!

Best Venue near Portland
This place is AMAZING. The owner has a passion for weddings and it shows. The pricing is all on the website, no hidden fees, and they provide exactly what they promise. The decorations are gorgeous. So many gorgeous spots for photos. The bar, kitchen, and buffet room are the perfect size. We partied HARD on the dance floor with about 60 people and it was perfect.

Such an amazing experience!
We had an amazing experience with the Troutdale house! Everything was so customizable and the venue staff was super accommodating! We for sure asked too many questions but they were very responsive to all of them and helped us with so much! They handled setup flawlessly and helped our big day run so smoothly! Casey was so patient with us and all our needs (including when we inevitably left something behind!). The venue is beautiful and we could not have picked a better place to get married!

Fantastic location, the best wedding location ever!
Fantastic service and an even better experience! Casey and the staff at The Troutdale House were wonderful to work with. My wife and I were helping our daughter plan her wedding from out of state, which can be stressful when you can’t always meet people in person. Casey and team made the entire process easy and gave us confidence from the start with their experience and professionalism.
The wedding itself was fantastic—everything went smoothly, and the staff were not only professional but genuinely fun and kind. On top of that, the value was incredible. It didn’t break the bank, and we felt we got far more than our money’s worth.
I highly recommend The Troutdale House to anyone looking for a wedding or event venue in the area. They made a very special day truly unforgettable!

This venue is literally magical
The owners and staff made sure that this was a minimally stressful experience by communicating effectively and promptly as we were planning the wedding itself. On the day of the ceremony and reception, everything went off completely without a hitch. The venue looked magical, and was everything I've always dreamed of. I could not think of a single thing that would have made this experience better. GORGEOUS indoor and outdoor options for ceremony/reception, kind and efficient staff, cutest bridal suite of all time. We all had so much fun here. 100/10!!

I happened to find this venue through an online search. Once I visited their website I knew this was where I was going to have my wedding. The services they offered were plentiful. The staff genuinely cared about helping our wedding to be exactly the way we wanted it. They also only do one event per day, so they were able to completely focus on us and we didn't feel rushed at all. All our guests fell in love with this place and it was a magical day.

Beautiful and seamless
We had multiple guests tell us how beautiful the ceremony and reception locations are! Not only are the ceremony locations beautiful, the staff was fantastic to work with throughout the entire wedding process and day.
The staff at The Troutdale House were exceptional. They were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. We had a complex centerpiece with multiple parts that the staff set up perfectly! We used vendors on the recommended list and all the vendors and the venue staff worked incredibly well together to make the entire setup easy.
We also appreciated the flexibility of the venue. They offered both indoor and outdoor spaces, which was perfect given our unpredictable Oregon weather.
Overall, our experience at The Troutdale House by the Sandy River exceeded all expectations. We highly recommend it to any couple looking for a unique and unforgettable wedding venue near the Portland area.

Perfect spot!
My kid's wedding was this past weekend at The Troutdale House. I cannot express how happy we were with our choice. They have so many options for you to use that are included in the rental cost, and although we didn't use very many of them, it's a nice addition if you're on a budget! Casey, the venue manager, did a great job running our rehearsal and owners Laura and Martin were AMAZING the day of, in what was an unprecedented winter weather event with record low temperatures necessitating some last minute pivoting. Thank you, so much, for creating a warm, welcoming and affirming day for our LGBTQ+ kids.

Such a versatile and amazing venue!
I got married at The Troutdale House on 11/11/23 and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue! There are some many rooms to enjoy within this venue, so many of my guests complimented it. I was still able to have an outdoor ceremony during Oregon November rain since they have a beautiful courtyard that’s covered and heated! PLUS decorations are included with the price of the venue rental! All tables, centerpieces, linens, artificial flowers, and even some signage were all provided by the venue and it didn’t cost any extra! This was a huge selling point for me. The also had an employee on premises the entire time to help with any questions I had day of.

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect venue…look no further!
Casey and the Troutdale House staff made our daughter’s wedding beyond perfect! We had a small wedding of 70 people in mid August so we had to take into consideration location, amenities, quality, and photography options. The Troutdale House provided everything we needed including the bar with air conditioning an upstairs and downstairs for the groomsmen and bridesmaids to get ready comfortable and separately. The surpassed all our expectations and we HIGHLY recommmend this venue and Casey a coordinator to make your special day, magical!

Amazing highly recommend
My wedding was amazing! I figured it wouldn’t be what I envisioned because they don’t provide all of the decorations but I had friend set everything up and honestly even before she did everything looked amazing. The ambiance alone is just beautiful. I highly recommend it so many guests were so excited about the game room down stairs and the kids all had a blast.

We loved it!

This is a beautiful venue and even if you don’t bring one piece of decoration, you will have an amazing and lovely wedding regardless. The whole place is filled with photo opportunities inside and out. They were easy to work with, and had lots of decorations and things we could use for the wedding. Highly recommended. Also the fact that you can bring your dog really makes it a step above most.

My day was perfect
From the minute I walked in to this venue I new I wanted to get married here. It was everything I wanted for my special day. So many options for places to get married rain or shine. The staff is so accommodating and made it easy and stress free with set up and having everything we needed. Tables chairs and lines and tons of flower arrangements to choose from to go with any color scheme. Being able to bring in our own food and bartender was a huge plus. No hidden fees. I am so greatful to the staff for making my day perfect. If you’re on the fence I would absolutely pick this location you will not regret it.

Venue with a feel of home, elegance, and possiblity
The Troutdale House communicated clearly and met the vision and expectations that we had for our wedding day. They provided a list of our responsibilities and theirs. The room decorations and table linens that were included in the cost were a huge bonus compared to other venues in the valley that require additional costs. The extra space on the bottom floor was great for children to play, and the beautifully decorated museum and speak easy lounge made for beautiful pictures!

The troutdale house was hands on only when they needed to be in the best way. The staff was willing and able to do anything asked of them but also did not control the day.
The venue itself was so beautiful I needed very little decor to get my vision across.

As soon as we toured The Troutdale House we knew it was the place we had been looking for. We toured with the owners and they were wonderful! They were able to answer all of our questions and were very knowledgeable. Whenever we had questions/concerns we always got a response in a very timely manner. Our day of coordinator was excellent! She made sure that everything was running on schedule which helped put my mind at ease. I highly recommend the Troutdale House for any event, you will have a wonderful experience!

Delightful Venue and Great Service
We chose Troutdale house because it's beautiful and has several indoor/outdoor spaces (a must for a NW wedding), and has great value. Our questions and requests were answered quickly and we had a great experience.
Troutdale House provided us a coordinator for the day, we had our own but they ended up working together like a dream team. They offered us options for free decor, tables and linens. We used some of theirs and added our own rentals. AC is available on all floors of the venue, but I did find that I was still very hot most of the time in venue (we got married in early august) - especially in the photogenic bridal getting ready suite which is upstairs. The grooms enjoyed their getting ready suite in the basement, which featured games like air hockey.
Additionally, the venue is literally next to train tracks and there is no way to predict when the train goes by, so be ready with strategies should this happen during your ceremony. There is also limited space for dancing, but that didn't stop our guests from having a great time.
Overall, I highly recommend this venue, we had an unforgettable wedding.

Amazing Wedding Venue
The Troutdale House was the first venue we visited when we started wedding planning - we fell in love with the place and made our reservation that day. Covid postponed our wedding twice. The TDH staff, specifically Casey, helped us through the process and was patient and understanding through everything. The inside of the venue is decorated so beautifully that we barely had to add anything extra. We loved being able to bring our own vendors and the day-of coordination services that are included. We got so many compliments about our venue choice and couldn't have dreamt of a better place to celebrate. I booked the venue without even seeing it due to the fact that I live out of state. It worked out perfectly, it was everything I wanted in a venue. The rehearsal was so fun and the coordinator did an incredible job organizing everything and answering all my questions. It was so nice to have a coordinator the day of as well to take charge of getting everything for the ceremony. I also have to mention that for the price you get so much out of the venue, tables and chairs were set up when we got there and they have their own lighting and sound system. The guests had a great time using the pool tables and air hockey downstairs and everyone had a great time. Basically it was absolutely perfect and I am so happy I booked at the Troutdale House

Great space for all guests
We loved having our wedding at The Troutdale House. The variety of spaces gave us lots of options and a place for everyone to enjoy. Not into dancing? Head downstairs to play some games or lounge in the “speakeasy room”. Many of our guests ended up around the fireplace chatting and catching up.
Our June ceremony was perfectly surrounded in greenery, vintage details and twinkle lights. We appreciated the professionalism and quick response from staff and the flexibility and guidance they provided with outside vendors.

We were married here July 2022 and it was fantastic! The whole process from touring the venue, booking, selecting decor and arrangements, rehearsal, and then having the wedding was incredibly easy and stress free. Every decoration, sign, flower, table, chair, linen, and dishware that we wanted they set up and cleaned up themselves, leaving us free to enjoy the night without extra work and saving us the money of paying for a florist. The staff was incredibly helpful and answered every question I had. Yes, there are trains, but if you're inside the building you can hardly hear them. They're very communicative and organized, professional and fun. Would absolutely book this venue again and highly recommend!

The most perfect day!
After having to postpone multiple times due to covid, we finally were able to have our dream wedding at The Troutdale House! They were so flexible through everything and accommodating to all of my requests. We couldn’t of picked a more perfect venue! It is beautiful, unique and full of so much charm. This was the first and only venue we toured, there was no need to look elsewhere! I especially loved that we could bring in all of our own catering & alcohol. 10/10 recommend The Troutdale House for your wedding day, I will never forget our magical day 🤍

Very flexible and fun!
We picked Troutdale House because it was one of the only venues that was flexible with bringing your own food/drink, could change ceremony locations up until the day of, we could use their decorations for free which saved a lot of money, they have fun touches like foosball and pool (which our guests loved) and no hidden fees! It was such a fun vibe and we could make it our own instead of needing required vendors. Would absolutely recommend!

Great beatuiful Venue
Half the wedding party got locked up between two semi-truck car accidents and were at least 30 minutes late. We were on a set time and called Troutdale House and they said don't worry about it. The groom nearly had a meltdown because of the semi-trucks, but everything turned out well. The venue itself is beautiful. Multiple locations where you can say your I-Do's. If you can book in May when the wisteria's bloom, it looks absolutely stunning. We highly recommend this place!

Amazing and beautiful
I looked at multiple venues and nothing compared to the friendliness and the price for a venue that honestly was so pretty I didn't need much to decorate. Full kitchen was available and the men and women were comfortable here. I had the most amazing day and ceremony because of this venue.

Beautiful, Flexible, Bang for your Buck Wedding Venue!
The Troutdale House was the perfect wedding venue for me and my husband. First, you get the entire place to yourself for a minimum of 10 hours (which was all we needed!). Pro tip, get married on a Sunday, rates are cheaper! The owners and staff were very helpful answering questions along the way, as things came up during the planning process. The space is beautiful and vintage. The bridal suite and grooms quarters were incredible! We loved being able to bring in our own food/booze and liked the option of either using their centerpieces or bringing in our own. The wisteria courtyard was a beautiful setting for our ceremony. This is a hidden gem in Troutdale, lots of good lodging accommodations in the surrounding areas. 10/10 recommend!
The only thing I wish was different is that we could have done our rehearsal on Friday. They give you an hour the Thursday before to do a run through. This made it less convenient for our rehearsal/welcome dinner, which we actually hosted on Friday.

My partner and I got married at the Troutdale House in October 2021. The venue staff were incredibly accommodating as we rescheduled during the pandemic. The staff is great at answering questions and helping you work through all the details of your day. We loved that they covered the wisteria garden, so we could hold our ceremony there despite the rainy weather. So much of the venue is customizable.

Incredible venue
We had our wedding there on 10/1. We were one of the unfortunate 2020 weddings, but it was so easy to work to reschedule with them. When the day finally came, they made it a fun and stress free experience. The venue is so large and breathtakingly beautiful, with lots of places for ceremony, reception, and pictures. The price is very fair for how much the venue gives you and does for you. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This venue was everything we’d dreamed of and more. Tons of space, beautiful lights, and elegantly furnished. The staff were all very accommodating and helpful and made the process easy breezy. A Beautiful Beginning
It's surprising how difficult it is to locate a wedding venue that not only fits your taste, but also provides accommodations at a reasonable cost. The Troutdale House was the perfect place for my husband and I to start out married life together. The venue is very large and offers something for everyone. There are beautiful outdoor spaces where we had out ceremony and set up games, but also a variety of indoor spaces which all appealed to us in their own unique way. The owners and coordinators were extremely responsive to our inquiries and provided us a reasonable amount of time to pay off the venue. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married

A picture perfect venue
I couldn’t have been more pleased with The Troutdale House as my wedding venue! From the first email I sent, to quick responses from the coordinator Casey, the owners who gave us the initial tour, the decorations that are able to be used to decorate.
The venue itself is gorgeous!!! I truly feel like my wedding day was perfect. The endless places for guests, so many photo opportunities both indoor and outdoor, I could go on and on!!

My experience with both the owners and the venue staff/coordinators was out of this world. They are so nice, thoughtful, thorough, and everyone clearly loves what they do! They do as much as they can so you do as little as necessary for your wedding. They have so many options for customizing your wedding, and we had an amazing time. This place is beautiful. The staff are great and always respond to emails quickly. We got screwed by COVID twice. First we rescheduled for a year later. Then the weekend of our wedding the county forced everything outside. Troutdale House came up with a great solution that didn’t take away from the wisteria beauty and you can’t see it in pictures at all. The value is wonderful for the space and amenities they have. I’d recommend to anyone.

I couldn’t have imagined a better place for my wedding! It is very spacious and lots of options to make it a fun wedding! Easy accessible bar, kitchen & DJ stations. Multiple areas to choose where to have reception & ceremonys. It’s already beautifuly decorated so you don’t have to spend tons of money on decorating. Guests who didn’t want to dance still had a chance to mingle in the game room playing air hockey & pool! And the fact that the groom & bride have their own dressing room was perfect. My wedding was perfect because of this venue.

We ended up switching to this venue last minute they were a GREAT price and a beautiful venue. They help set up they have tons of their own stuff you can use the owners and employees were all so accommodating and friendly. They’re literally there to help you out when needed and were really out of the way the whole time. Outside catering was really important to us and that’s allowed here. I love that we were able to supply our own alcohol as well. I’ll definitely use this venue again in the future for events! Beautiful venue and love how it’s decorated!!

Great Experience
The Troutdale House was an amazing choice! Our wedding day was amazing, beautiful, and I don’t have a single complaint. Casey always called me back to answer my questions or book appointments with me, she seemed patient with my family wanting to come see the venue a million times before the wedding. The venue has so much to offer, and is so easy to personalize.

Perfect venue!!

Great people and perfect venue
Our wedding was 10.19.19 and I can honestly say that we would not have changed anything; it went perfect! I cannot even tell you how many people complimented the venue. It was perfect for our wide variety of ages. The adults danced and the kids were downstairs playing games; it was perfect. Our wedding was in the Lodge Deck part and worked out great. Awesome people and great place.

This place is perfect
I can’t thank this Venue enough, they went above and beyond to make our day amazing and if any problems came to they were quick to fix it without invoking the bride and groom. They knew I (the bride) wanted an outside wedding and did everything in their power to get me that, which was kinda difficult because it was a rainy day, but we still did it right before the rain and everything was perfect. Such a beautiful venue and such amazing amazing workers. I can’t thank this place enough. My wedding day was amazing and everything was perfect.

Absolutely stunning

The Troutdale House helped make our wedding a dream come true.
We were over the moon happy with our experience with them! We are an alternative couple and they made us feel completely welcome. They were on hand throughout the experience to answer any questions and make sure everything went smoothly. The owners are sincere and genuine. They even reached out when we accidentally left something at the venue. I cannot recommend The Troutdale House highly enough.

Perfect venue
The Troutdale House was the perfect venue for our July wedding! The staff was responsive and helpful. The lower floor was perfect for kids, and all of our guests commented on how much fun they had!

Very helpful and flexible. Helped with details and decoration options. Were flexible and willing to help with relocation with the weather. Super nice and professional. Great place for pictures before during and after the wedding. Looks so magical and beautiful once inside the different areas. Has such diverse wedding locations.

We love the Troutdale House
We could not have dreamed of a better place to have our wedding. The Troutdale House is such a dreamy venue. The inside is already so beautiful, that you don't need much of your own decor. We got married in the Wisteria garden and it was so beautiful! What we appreciated the most was the flexibility of the venue. You are allowed to bring in your own caterers and bartenders, which saves so much money. The staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout. I would recommend the Troutdale House to anyone.

Amazing! Simply magical.
My now husband and I just had our ceremony and reception at the Troutdale House, and it was everything we could have asked for. Crystal was super easy to work with on the day of and at the rehearsal, and made everything work out so well! It was perfect for our small ceremony (40 people), and everyone was telling me afterwards how beautiful the venue was. We had booked it the same night of visiting it for the first time, and we couldn't be happier with the results. There were so many places for beautiful photos, and made the transitions between ceremony and reception flawless.

Super awesome!
My husband and I were engaged for nearly two years. We booked our venue first thing. Over the two years of planning the Troutdale House was extremely flexible, allowing us to come visit with friends and family who were excited to see our venue. Laura and Martin (owners) really have this down to a science. The whole operation guarantees your wedding will be beautiful regardless of your budget once you have paid for your 10 hours. Minimal decor is needed, the venue speaks for itself. You can go as big or as small as you like and still WOW your guests with a lovely event. We had 180ish people at our wedding and everyone had an awesome time and it didn’t seem like anyone was cramped or needed more space. A huge draw for us was the 10 hours included in our package, Troutdale is extremely accessible for in and out of town guests, also you are not required to use any of their vendors. I highly reccommend Pompellos Italian Bistro (once you see the $$ per head you will get it) and everyone said our food was fabulous! Our wedding weekend in Troutdale was perfect. Thank you so much to Laura, Martin and Casey for making it all possible!

This venue is as both beautiful and accommodating! They put up and tore the decor down. They followed how we wanted our wedding to go! I loved that they were so helpful and kept our wedding on track as well!

When booking an event here you know that youre given absolute freedom to run it exactly how youd like, and get every bit of help you need from the director in charge that night. We had a beautiful wedding, made perfect by the venure and staff on site. Thank you again!

Amazing Venue
The Troutdale House was so accommodating and affordable. We celebrated our reception here and it went off without a hitch. In the months leading up to the reception I had a few hiccups in my planning and the staff was able to help me get everything worked out. We ended up having more guest then I originally thought but the venue was big enough that 120 people were able to move around without it feeling really crowded. We did utilize both the main floor and the downstairs. Also having two outdoor areas open made stepping out to cool down after dancing easy without feeling like you've left the party. This venue also is just stunning. There are so many different photo ops everywhere. I highly recommend this place for your next party.

Best day ever!!!
I don’t know where to begin. The Troutdale House Venue and staff did not disappoint. They were welcoming, fast to respond, allowed our own food and drink, had the tables and linen set up before our arrival. Casey was attentive during the reception. My guest loved the venue and all it has to offer. The venue itself is gorgeous so I did not have to do much on decor. I had an amazing wedding day and so happy to celebrate it there when the city of Troutdale is my second home. Thank you Casey, Laura, and team.
