My husband and I rented a trolley through The Trolley Car & Bus Company for our wedding in Chicago on 3/4/2017. I worked directly with Kristi Lichtenberger for our reservation and she was extremely helpful- More than accommodating to our requests and was super responsive throughout the months leading up to our wedding. Not to mention, their prices were half of what other companies were quoting us at! On the actual day, our driver was prompt and the trolley was clean and such a fun experience for us and our bridal party to travel around Chicago to take wedding photos. Our driver also suggested additional locations for us to take photos and was eager to please, as we didn't exactly stick to the original itinerary due to weather. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about The Trolley Car & Bus Company and hope to work with them again soon in the future!

Best trolley company in the city! We hired Trolley Car & Bus Co. for our wedding transportation to various city locations for our wedding photos between the ceremony and cocktail hour (May 21, 2016). They arrived ahead of time, the driver was extremely friendly (and funny), and the trolley was nicely decorated with a just married sign outside and decor inside. The driver listened to our requests for stops and patiently waited while we took photos. We were also able to play our music though an AUX cord. Everyone had the best time!!

We rented a trolley for our wedding and it was an awesome and easy experience. The trolley was easy to book and communication was excellent. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable, and arrived early for our pickup. He had no problems taking us all around downtown Chicago for photos. The trolley was decorated inside and out, and we were able to bring food and drinks on board. Highly recommend!

We used the trolley for transportation to and from our wedding ceremony to venue. They were prompt and even had champagne chilled for toasting upon entering. The trolley was decorated with wedding décor, but yet still classy. We would certainly book this transportation again, easy, quick, and little planning on our end to make it come together.

We loved our trolley! We were so happy we went with this company. Our driver Karen was awesome! She arrived to my house earlier than needed which was comforting to know it would be on time and we could leave when we want. She was so nice and friendly. The inside and outside were beautiful and photographed so nicely. We would encourage anyone who is thinking about doing a trolley to definitely do it and to pick it from this company as you will not regret it!

The were easy and helpful to deal with. The driver was on time and entertaining. He seemed to enjoy his job! The trolley was well maintained and perfect for our large wedding party!

Our trolley was awesome! They arrived ahead of schedule, and our driver Ernie was smiling and funny! We had a great time with us! They let us hook up our own music, and even provided us with champagne! We had a total blast on the trolley!

We had a great experience working with this company for a wedding day trolley. We only used the trolley for about 2 hours, but had to pay for the three hour minimum, understandably. They were very professional, easy to get in touch with, and affordable.

For our wedding we used a trolley car- it could fit 35 people so our whole wedding party and thier families could ride all together. Our driver picked us up on time and was so wonderful- she always had a smile. The trolley was also decorated for us on the inside. My only worry was that our wedding was in July and I didn't want it to be to hot on the trolley and it was not the air worked well and kept everyone cool. We are so glad that we went with the trolley the overall experience was great

We had a great experience with the Trolley Car Company. The employees were easy to communicate with, the price was unmatched anywhere else and the trolley itself was clean, roomy and great! The driver was professional and on time! I would continue to recommend them.

The mini bus was clean, on time and efficient. Our driver had a great personality and was a lot of fun. Everyone was in a party mood and the driver added to it with pumping up the music. He was very flexible when we needed to change locations a couple of times do to the rain. Great overall experience. Would hire them again!

We hired The Trolley Car and Bus Company for our wedding day. The trolley arrived on time and was decorated for the occasion. We used the trolley from 2pm-6pm to drive around Chicago to 3 photo locations before our ceremony and reception. Everything went very smoothly, there were no wrong turns and we arrived on time to my ceremony. The trolley was very clean and they supplied us with a cooler and some champagne. The trolley is also air conditioned although we didn’t really need it as it was a perfect 70 degree day  I would definitely recommend The Trolley Car and Bus Company to anyone planning a wedding.

Linda was the best driver! Derek was great to work with!! There prices are hard to beat. I am so glad we went with the Trolley Car and Bus Company for our wedding on 5/28! Thanks Derek and Linda for making our day so great!

WE had a very large bridal party, so we had a limited number of affordable options to get everyone from A to B. We got a steal on our trolley and the entire wedding party thought it was the coolest thing ever! Not to mention we got 2 bottles of champagne and wedding decor on the trolley! Our driver was courteous and thoughtful always helping me on and off the trolley in my huge dress! I couldn't have asked for better or more affordable transport on our wedding day!

The Trolley Car and Bus Company was so easy to work with! They not only helped us to get the best price, but they were thoughtful and organized during the planning process. The trolley was beautiful. Our wedding party had a great time traveling around during pictures, on our way to the reception. You're making a mistake if you don't give The Trolley Car and Bus Company a call!

Ken was our driver and we worked with Damien & Derek, mostly via email, to get everything together. They were early everywhere we needed to be, let us play our own music, the trolley was beautifully decorated and it was a great to transport our bridal party around. We were going to not have a limo / trolley b/c it was so expensive but we were thrilled to find Trolley Car & Bus Company. They were super affordable, professional, and most of all, on time :)

Timely, clean trolleys and drivers. Janet was our driver and she was FABULOUS! Damien was our contact person and while he was rough around the edges, I appreciated his candidness and no-fluff approach. We had a great time. Great prices! Highly recommend!

We had two trolleys looping from the Adler Planetarium to the Palmer House before and after the ceremony/reception. Everyone arrived on time, got back to the hotel safely, and enjoyed the ride in between!

LOVED THEM! Great value, professional and all around wonderful.
We had a mini bus, which for 6 hours was the cost of one limo (with another vendor) for half the time! Fantastic!

Great company to work with! I'm so glad I booked a Trolley with them for my wedding. They arrived on time and the inside was clean and decorated. Our driver was enthusiastic and very personable. I highly recommend The Trolley Car & Bus Company!

The Trolley Car & Bus Company did a great job with providing transportation on our wedding day. They provided a trolley for the wedding party. A friend had recommended them due to their reliability. Not only were they reliable, but the trolley was also high quality. It was a surprisingly 97degree day in May and the AC on the bus and trolley worked amazingly! The trolley was clean, had windows that closed for comfortable driving on the highway, great AC, fun sound system for iphone/ipod playlist, and even had "wedding decorations". We would highly recommend using Trolley Car & Bus Company for your transportation needs.

Our driver was fantastic and the trolley was adorable and great in my pictures! Everyone had an easy time sitting on the trolley and were not crushed like in a limo. We had enough room for spouses and dates and enjoyed the ride between our ceremony and photo shoots. The price was a bit high, but totally worth it and probably still less than if we rented two limos and definintely was more fun!!! Also, the trolley had A/C, which was a major bonus being that on our wedding day it was sunny and 88 degrees. Highly recommend this company!!!!

We ordered a trolley for the wedding party and a bus to take guests from the hotel to the ceremony and back for the reception. The trolley was on-time and really cute - however it was so HOT! The plastic windows were on (which took away some of the appeal of the cute trolley) so that the air conditioning could be used, but after the first 2 rows, no one felt the air conditioning, which was a challenge since it was a warm July day (and the wedding party had to hop off the trolley for some pre-wedding photos). The bus seemed fine (I am not sure, I wasn't on it), but it did get lost on the way to the ceremony (one of the guests had to use her Blackberry to get things back on track). Luckily, I was pretty generous (i.e., ridiculously uptight) with my time estimates and had budgeted an extra 40 minutes for the trip, because the bus arrived *just* in time for the ceremony. Oh! And the price was really reasonable. I called a few other trolleys and they were all a few hundred more...

Everyone enjoyed the trolley and we are happy we incorporated it. The timing of the pick-ups was a little skewed, but maybe the driver hit some traffic. There must have been some confusion with the schedule of the trolley due to the boys being dropped off in the wrong spot. When the girls finally arrived we had the boys walk to the right spot and the girls were just driven there. The driver seemed a bit nervous the whole time, maybe he was new. He did his job and went on his way.

We ended up getting married on the day that it flooded and were glad that we had a trolley car. We used it to transport the bride and bridesmaids to the ceremony and then the entire wedding party back to the hotel. Since it had been raining for days and was a complete downpour the day of, we found out that the trolley car leaks from the emergency exits on the roof if you are sitting toward the front. We had paid for 4 hours (we added an extra hour) but only used it for 3 because of the flooding and rain. It came with champagne and we brought food and other drinks on board for after the ceremony. There was a good dound system and we played our own CDS. Other than the leaks, we were pleased with the trolley!

Our experience with this company was so-so. Everyone that we dealt with at the company was nice enough, but there were a few serious issues on our wedding day that were really frustrating. They were there on time, which is always a huge plus. Great. However, they forgot to mention that the trolley can only go 45 miles per hour on the expressway. Maybe they should have mentioned that when they asked me how long it took to get from one destination to the next? Even though I had left extra time in my schedule, we wound up getting to the church late because of this. Not necessarily their fault, but I think that they should have mentioned this and told me to allow for more time.

But what really got me was that when we got back into the trolley after the ceremony, it was HOT. I'm not talking warm, I'm talking HOT. Like 90 degrees inside the trolley. Good Lord. We asked the driver to turn on the AC and he said it was on... but there was definitely no cool air coming out. It must have broken or something.... Again, not really anyone's fault, but I would hope that they make sure everything is in working order before they send out their trolleys. We were all sweltering, especially the poor guys in their tuxes! By the time we got to the reception, we were all pretty damp and wilted... not really how I wanted to feel on my wedding day.

They must have known that this happened, but we never had anyone apologize about it or anything, which was a little disappointing. So unfortunately, all in all, I don't think I'd recommend this company or use them again.

My husband & I hired this company to provide handicap accessible trolley service on 8/1/2014. The process booking them was fine & they had no problem taking our money.
Fast forward to the day of our wedding. They sent us a trolley that had a broken air conditioner on a warm & humid 83 degree day (so even if the additional problem I explain below doesn't apply to you, consider that you may just sweat like crazy on the day of your wedding looking all beautiful/handsome). Then, when my brother (who is in a wheelchair) went to use the lift it would not work (only rising about 2 feet before malfunctioning - never reaching the landing where he could safely get off). My husband and 5 groomsmen all tried pushing the lift up to no avail (in the process covering themselves in dirt and grease in their nice clothes). After my brother removed himself from the lift, it would not even retract back into the trolley so that the vehicle could be driveable. Therefore we had no transportation. Despite the contract stating that alternative transportation may be provided in the unlikely event that the one we booked becomes unavailable, the company did not honor this. We were forced to take our very friendly photographer's car & another guest's car so that we could get to our reception as all the bridal party's cars had already been brought to the hotel.
The customer service woman at the company, after hearing from us that day, was rude, unapologetic, & completely dismissive of our issue; telling us how difficult this was for HER (not once apologizing for our difficult situation). She couldn't have been any more awful in her response.
We did finally email with someone 4 days later who tried to make it as right as he could. He issued a refund plus $200. However, the moments we lost because of the time we spent trying to get the trolley to function are priceless. The worst decision I made for my wedding day was booking with this company.
