My husband and I had the pleasure of working with The Trinh Studios for our June 2024 wedding in Houston, Texas. In addition to our wedding, we also worked with them for our engagement session, and both experiences were exceptional.
We were immediately impressed by their photography style. Knowing that our wedding guests would be ethnically diverse, we were particularly impressed by their ability to beautifully photograph a variety of skin tones.
David and Denisse were with us throughout the day—while we were getting ready, at the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. They were everywhere, all at once, in the best way possible! They captured authentic moments without disrupting the flow or vibe of the day.
Our wedding was one of the first at a new Houston wedding venue, Le Tesserae, which meant they didn’t have previous weddings or photoshoots to reference. However, they embraced this challenge and got creative, finding the best locations and lighting at the venue. They also worked collaboratively and thoughtfully with our videographer and other vendors.
As we were told so many times, your wedding day flies by, and it’s the photos and videos that help you relive the day. The Trinh Studios captured the life, love, and energy of our wedding day so beautifully. Looking back at the pictures, we feel like we’re reliving the day from both our own perspectives and from our guests’ perspectives. After our engagement photo session with The Trinh Studios, we knew we could trust their creative vision, and they more than delivered on our wedding day.
We wholeheartedly recommend The Trinh Studios as photographers. Their professionalism, creativity, and ability to capture the essence of the day made them an invaluable part of our wedding.

Seamless, professional, and amazing quality
The pictures we received are better than we could have hoped for! Both photographers are very personable and likable, easy to work worth, and have a great eye for capturing memorable moments. They were proactive in communication, often reaching out to us before we reached out ourselves, which was great considering all the vendors we were keeping track of. Pricing for photography in general can be pretty steep, but I guarantee that The Trinh Studios will give you the best value for your dollar. Very professional, and I can’t understate how great our pictures look! You’ll be in good hands with them :) -

Amazing Photographers
David and his wife are absolutely AMAZING. We got married on 6/17/2023 and I knew I would love their work but WOW, we were floored by how amazing our photos turned out. The photos are beautiful and David and his wife were amazing to work with. My whole family, including my young kids who usually hates photos, loved them and had no problem taking photos with them. I really can't recommend them any more than I do, if you're looking for a photographer these 1000% should be your people. We're planning on using them for any other photos we need in the future!! -

Great experience!
David and his wife photographed our wedding in March 2023 and we LOVE the way the photos turned out!! We are still getting compliments from our friends on how good they look. We will certainly use them again. The process of ordering prints after was fast and easy as well. -

David and Denisse were great! The pics are wonderful. I wanted colorful and interesting and they definitely delivered. What I wasn't expecting was how thorough they were going to be taking pics of the venue and town. Pictures I didn't think to ask for but am now so happy I have. They were also incredibly kind and patient with my husband, who does not like to have pictures taken. They were great! -

David produces high end work for a reasonable price. No unnecessary upselling. Honest photographer who loves his job. Communication was prompt and thorough. We were looking for a creative photographer who could capture special moments with thoughtful composition and David Trinh and his wife nailed it! We couldn’t be happier with the final product -

I didn't have any experience working with professional vendors prior to my wedding and I don't think I will ever want to unless he quits the business. The Trinh Studios was my first (and best) choice for a few reasons: 1. I wanted an Asian-owned business, 2. I wanted a second shooter, and 3. I wanted a social media presence. It didn't hurt that we graduated from the same college either. I've read so many horror stories about photographers ghosting you, disappearing after the event is over (with your photos), or just being unprofessional but David was not that. We seriously had the best time working with him & his wife, Denisse because they were so easy-going, patient and made us both feel comfortable throughout the whole day as well as helped guide shots/poses at our photo venue. David was truly professional from start to finish and even helped us with our wedding timeline! The Trinh Studios is sorta the whole package because after the wedding, I dmed them on Instagram and happened to mention that we are buying a house and long story short, we are now working with his realtor! I couldn't have asked for a better husband & wife photography team to tackle my wedding day photo needs! Overall, I can't recommend The Trinh Studios enough! If anyone needs a photographer for their special day, this is the team you want by your side! I will be recommending them to anyone that needs a photographer for their special day! -

David and Denisse are such a great team, and they did a wonderful job capturing our wedding. I chose them for many reasons, but one in particular stood out to me - we wanted an evening wedding but also a few pictures outdoors. All of the other photographers I met with said that was not possible and that we’d have to move the wedding up earlier in the day if we wanted pictures outside. David, on the other hand, without hesitation said no problem! He showed us photos that he’d taken outdoors at night from other weddings, and they looked great! Sure enough, we have many beautiful outdoor photos! He was willing to accommodate us when no one else was. That made our decision super easy! He was also very calm and collected, and I figured that’s what we’d all need on wedding day. We met with David several times before the wedding to ensure we were all on the same page and to go over details. He put a lot of effort into ensuring that our special day was captured in all the ways we’d dreamed of. We recently got our pictures back and we cannot stop staring at them! I cannot recommend David and Denisse enough!! We are so happy we chose them! -

Candid Photos of Pure Joy
One of my friends described it best; candid photos of pure joy. Other than the feelings of pure bliss, the only thing you'll have after the wedding day ends are photos, and David is actually VERY fairly priced (especially if you compare to other metropolitan photographers around the country). David Trinh is a true artist; he has an incredible eye for exactly how to make a photo look BREATHTAKING. When I saw my preview photos a couple days after the wedding, I actually stopped breathing, because they were so beautiful. There is a pretty cute story about how he arranged all the wedding flowers when the officiant turned her back for 5 seconds, and I can just imagine that even what he thinks are his worst shots are still...pretty good. Also, Denisse is SO SWEET and she helps so much, she just gets it! Relatable, warm, hilarious, kind, and TALENTED. I couldn't have asked for a better duo of photographers for my big day. Thanks y'all, you're my photographers for LIFE now. -

Above and Beyond Service
As crazy as 2020 was and will be for all of the brides & grooms, David and Denisse made it so easy. Even though we had to shift everything due to COVID, they did not hesitate a second. They were flexible and more accomodating than any other vendor. They even brought an extra stand for our impromptu live stream for friends and family that were unable to attend due to the limitations. Outside of that, the pictures are phenomenal. From a planned 200+ person wedding to being required to limit to a 20 person, private wedding, they captured our big day better than we could have imagined. They were open to any suggested pictures we had in mind, but also brought their own ideas and flair which were some of the best pictures from our gallery. They caught each moment of the day, making it memorable and special. I could write a million more positives about this team! Hands down the best photography vendor. Went above and beyond and is your best bet! -

Hire this photographer!
David and his wife were hands down the best photographers we could have ever wished for. Even our guests noticed how attentive they were yet totally "invisible". They caught every detail and even pulled us out for a moonlight photo shoot just because of how beautiful the night was (totally unplanned!). You can see David's love of photography radiating from him so you can trust that you will get some STUNNING shots. Also, I had a handful of amazing photos sent to me the very next morning and the rest of our photos (a TON of them) were ready 8 quick weeks later. Truly, the 8 weeks flew by especially because we already had some beautiful photos to share. -

David is wonderful person and an incredibly talented photographer! He was one of the first vendors we hired for our wedding. From the very beginning he was so easy to work with, extremely communicative and always responded to e-mails and texts right away. His prices are very reasonable and he takes great care of all his couples, often going above and beyond. I remember for our engagement shoot, he showed up to the venue almost an hour early to scope the place out! I was so impressed with his work ethic and careful attention to detail. He made me and my husband feel comfortable and at ease, which is a real accomplishment considering neither one of us are fans of being in front of the camera! On our wedding day, David and his wife Denisse were with us every step of the way and I could tell they were working very hard to to capture all the important moments and little details. We received our wedding photo gallery a few days ago and were blown away at how perfectly David and Denisse captured our big day. I went online to post a "sample" of our favorite photos and ended up posting over 170 pictures, whoops! :) I think that's a true testament to how much I love them. THANK YOU DAVID, I am so grateful for you and will continue to recommend you to everyone I know! -

I'll start off by saying, your search is over. Book David! You have found the one! David is the BEST at what he does. He not only knows how to capture the big moments but he captures the little moments that anyone else might have missed. He is so patient and tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Denise, his fiance, was the second photographer at our wedding and was also a big help! She's awesome too! I've never really been comfortable with pictures but David knew how to work with this despite the fact. I'm sure that could not have made it easy for them. That didn't stop him from delivering top of the line work though. The quality of the pictures is amazing. I still can't stop looking at my gallery. Everyone loved David! My family and friends who attended the wedding always bring up how great David was at our wedding. Out of all the vendors that were booked for the wedding he was the favorite! Still receiving compliments on him until this day. He always communicated with me and answered any questions I may have. Very professional from the very beginning until the end. I relive that day every time I'm looking through my gallery. Not everyone can capture an event this way, which is why I am so grateful to David because I get to have these memories forever. Definitely recommend! We booked David Trinh Photography a year before my wedding date and he kept in contact the entire time. Even after the wedding he kept us updated on the photos. We got to personally meet him to see if he was what we were looking for. He was prepared, professional, reliable, and very welcoming. David and his wife Denisse, were so down to earth with charismatic personalities! They made suggestions and captured the best moments. What I absolutely appreciated the most were the pictures of the decor, which I didn't even know he took. I left my phone in the bridal suite and I immediately regretted that I didn't take any pictures of the small details. It was a nice surprise! Thank you!

Pictures that tell all the stories of the day!
David did an AMAZING job on my wedding!!! He and his team captured all the important moments as well as moments I would have liked to see but wasn’t able as the bride of the day. His pictures were well done, good lighting, nice backgrounds and most importantly creative! I love that his pictures have a journalistic nature which told all the big and little stories of the day!!! I strongly recommend him and will use him again when I get the chance!!! -

We just got our photos back from our October 27th, 2018 wedding and could not be more happy with them. David was a true professional throughout the entire wedding photography process and made our day so special. David went above and beyond to capture amazing shots and moments throughout the day and I cannot wait to create an album of all his beautiful work. Photography was the most important vendor for us and because of this I looked for a very long time, spent countless nights reading reviews, and messaging many different people. After meeting with David he made us feel confident and secure in his talent to trust him with our big day and I am so glad we did. Catherine Sent on 01/02/2018David was absolutely AMAZING! Him and his fiance came to take photos of my tiny 30 person wedding in the Centennial Gardens. He was so well prepared! He had met with us before the wedding and asked us plenty of questions so he knew exactly what we wanted. He stayed in contact with us throughout the weeks before the wedding. He was kind enough to book us as a few hour session because our wedding was so small. The day of the wedding it was going to rain so we had to work fast and David and his fiance did such a great job getting in as many photos as possible. I've only seen a handful of the sneak peak photos and I can already tell all the photos will be amazing!! He honestly was exactly what I wanted at my wedding. He was able to capture the exact feeling of that day. Him and his fiance made us feel so comfortable! Me and my husband are not ones to want to have our pictures taken and David made it seem like a breeze.
