    perfect beach wedding

    Jane and her team were perfect! We were able to relax and just enjoy the day with friends and family. If you are not sure if you need a coordinator...hire one anyway. You will not regret it. I wanted a beach wedding and they took care of the details beautifully.

    Total Wedding Experience - Jane Park

    Total Wedding Experience (Jane Park) was a lifesaver. I actually had no stress including the day of the wedding. Well worth every penny! I highly recommend this company and Jane. Thank you so much!

    So helpful and Fabulous!

    Minister Jane Park and staff answered my endless questions and coordinated the perfect vow renewal on the beach in Galveston marking our 18th wedding anniversary. It was a cold windy day and they made it so special, even in those conditions!

    Best decision ever made.

    Jane and her team were amazing. Words almost fall short in trying to describe how much we value her expertise and how she went above and beyond for us. We had tried planning our wedding ourselves and got nowhere. I decided to reach out to wedding planners and Jane was the first to respond right away. Not only is she communicative and professional, she and her entire team really do care. They work extra hard to bring your dream wedding to life. Our wedding wouldn't be what it was without her.     Amazing experience!!

    Absolutely the best experience we could have ever imagined!!! We wanted an intimate ceremony for just us on the beach. I'm so glad I found TWE because of the many package options and affordability. Jane is wonderful and I can't wait to see the photos because the photographer was amazing. I know they're going to be great. We went simple but it's exactly what we wanted. It was a beautiful and memorable experience. We definitely recommend The Total Wedding Experience- no matter what your wedding plans. They are awesome to work with. And hopefully we'll be using them again in five years for a vow renewal on the beach!

    Our Wedding Experience

    We had such an amazing time at our wedding. It was absolutely beautiful. It exceeded my expectations and my guest all enjoyed it as well. Jane and her Team really put everything together and it look like we had planned it for over a year when in actuality our cruise wedding got cancelled due to Covid 19 and had to book with her last minute. She had less than a month to pull it together and I feel that it came out better than it would have onboard the ship. Thanks Jane and Team for being so on top of things and being so responsive to all of my e mails, calls, txt, and last minute changes. You all are hands down the best vendor I have ever worked with.

    Jane Park and her team are exceptional, I hired her for Day of Coordination and when I say her team went above and beyond. I didn't have to lift a finger. I was married on Crystal Beach and not only did they take the ferry to get to the Villa, but they served food, were bartenders and even helped us prepare some of our sides. I recommend them for your wedding, you won't be disappointed.

    Jane Park was our officiant on our wedding day 7.11.15. Her & her crew assisted as our wedding coordinators. I wasn't sure at first if I would even need a coordinator & thank God I did! Jane & her girls (sorry I forgot their names) were very professional. They were helpful in any way you can think of. They were amazing . Made my wedding day even more amazing. Everything went smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing... not even about getting my drink because they kept my glass full. I was a very happy bride!!!! These girls rock!!!!     Jane Park was the officiant for our union in Crystal Beach. At first, I was a little nervous having someone perform the ceremony that I did not have a personal relationship with, but Jane made it a ceremony to remember! She was kind, relaxed and eloquent. Her ceremony staff was attentive and professional. I had no worries on that perfect day and it allowed me to fell like a queen!

    Jane is amazing! An Angel!! She and her girls go above and beyond! In addition to everything she did, we found out after the wedding that she stepped in when our caterer decided he didn’t want to do anything. Jane and the girls were serving plates, serving drinks, serving cake...all while keeping everything else running smoothly! Thank you WIB (Women in Black) . You were BY FAR the best investment we made in the wedding!! We will always have such beautiful memories of our wedding because you so amazingly dealt with all the not so fun stuff!     My husband and I used Jane as both our wedding coordinator and officiant. Her services were the best value for our money! We interviewed and priced several coordinators. From the very beginning she recommended vendors based on her experiences with them as "trusted vendors" with a history of performing well. She was always just a text message or email away, highly professional at all times, poised when I was not, and prepared at all times. As the wedding got closer she made sure all of the details were covered! She contacted all of the vendors that we had lined up and went over the itinerary with them. Literally nothing was overlooked. She was present at my rehearsal and got to know our families and friends to ease in the flow of our wedding day. The day of the wedding everything was set up by her staff when I arrived she literally did everything that needed to be done. My husband, myself, and our friends and families literally just showed up and enjoyed our day taking no concern with the task and flow of the evening! She was a lovely officiant, and we felt quite comfortable with her in this role since we had planned the wedding alongside her. She was flexible throughout the night as some things took longer or less long than anticipated and she filled the time appropriately. We had many little events for the night that she directed appropriately. We ran into and issue at the bar and she managed it the best that she could, ultimately the issues could not be resolved, but this was the fault of the vendor, and not her. As you can tell we highly recommend Jane to other couples looking for a wedding coordinator for a less stressful wedding experience!

    Disappointed me on my wedding day

    I was very happy with them at first, they meant with me several times before the wedding. They helped me find vendors and other things I needed for the wedding, they went to my cake tasting and my food tasting and was very involved. I had several meetings about how i wanted the wedding to go and I filled out several information forms of all the details i wanted. I did everything I was supposed to do and paid in full before the event. However on my rehearsal day they just let the pastor take over who ended up having us recite our vows (awkward) and they didn't take control over the situation. I had a lot of family and i was nervous and i needed my coordinator to coordinate and she just stood back, she didn't suggest practicing with music or ask me if i liked the way everyone walked down the aisle or go over timing with music or any details. It was a mess. I had to take more time out of the day and make sure to practice the timing at the Hotel on my own with the bridal party. Then on my wedding day, the other vendors didn't set up things correctly and the coordinators didn't fix it even though she is the one in charge and new exactly what i wanted. Then my sister gave them their tip envelope alittle too early and after that i barely saw them the rest of the night. It makes me so angry that I tipped these ladies, big regret and undeserved. In the middle of the party i see guest leaving and we hadn't done the garter toss or bouquet toss yet and it was pass due on the itinerary, so I'm dancing with my groom all upset and he doesn't like seeing me upset, so he leaves me to go find them. He finally finds them hiding out on their phones in the kitchen and tells them i'm upset and to get out there. You know they didn't speak a word to me the rest of the night, yet in all the meetings they promised me they would check on me and make sure I had a drink. But once they got paid they were MIA. I was extremely disappointed. I tried to reach out after my wedding because I was so upset, I pointed out all the things that bothered me, and instead of being sympathetic or even having customer service, she just emailed a very long e-mail back about why i was wrong and that things "just happen" it was a whole bunch of excuses. I'm sorry but a coordinator is hired to MAKE things happen not "let" things happen. Don't waste your money.

    Wow! What a delightful couple! We worked extensively with the bride to prepare for her wedding. We attended many appointments and had several consultations to make sure we got everything just the way she wanted it. They were such a nice couple, a pleasure to work with and everything went smoothly, including the wedding day which we thought went great.

    So you can imagine my surprise when I received an email from the bride about how unhappy she was with our services. We rarely get negative reviews and this particular bride had so many issues that we felt it necessary to express our side of the event.

    We did meet with the bride many times for consultations or vendor appointments. Everything went smoothly. We prepared an itinerary for the bride and she approved it. However after the wedding the bride sent us an email describing all the things she was unhappy with. We were very surprised as we thought the wedding went great. So did all the other vendors and their families came up and told us what a great job we did so we were really surprised by this email. We addressed each issue, not to be giving an excuse but to explain that most of her concerns were with the services of the other vendors. So we informed her that she would have to discuss those issues with them as the contract for service was with them and not with us and there was not much we could do to remedy the situation with those vendors other than to express her concerns and we did that.

    Her being upset with the rehearsal is news to me. She never mentioned in her email that she was upset with how the rehearsal went. This is the first time I'm hearing of that.
    Ministers/Officiants are usually not present for the rehearsal but if they choose to attend we accommodate them. We went through the processional twice and once the couple is standing in front of the Minister I usually let him take that time to give the couple any last minute instructions. Their Minister was actually a Minister at a church they attend and they had been meeting with him several times prior to the ceremony. We had no way of knowing what he was going to say and he proceeded to go through the entire ceremony with the couple. It was a little awkward, but I felt that it would be rude and inappropriate for me to stop him and tell him he couldn't say that.
    The bride never indicated to me that she was upset over it. We exchanged a few text messages after the rehearsal in which she said it was a little awkward but not that she was upset over it.

    We also rarely conduct a rehearsal with music as the DJ is usually not present at the rehearsal. However, if she had requested that we practice with music, we would have absolutely honored that request. We could have even used our phones for the music. She never said anything. She did have a very detailed processional and we had a discussion about it and practiced it at the rehearsal; she wanted her entrance to be at a precise moment in the song. After we had gone through the entire processional and recessional we asked the bride, groom, bridal party and parents if they understood when and how they would enter and everyone replied that they were good, no one had any questions including the bride. On the wedding day, the processional went exactly as we had practiced and the bride entered at exactly the moment she had wanted. Even the DJ was impressed.
    As for the other vendors not setting up the decorations the way she wanted...the bride arrived at the ballroom early, just as we were finishing up and she came in to have a look and said that everything looked great. We even asked her about the placement of a couple of items and she walked around and looked at everything. We asked her if she liked it and she said it looks great. Had she informed us of any changes we would have accommodated them at that time. Just prior to the ceremony we turned on all the LED candles and everything was working fine. However, in her first email to us she stated that several of the candles didn't work and why didn't we replace them. We let her know that the vendor providing the decorations did not leave us any extra candles so we were unable to do anything. We did not notice any candles that were not working. We did have one of the globes on the chandelier centerpieces get broken by a guest.

    She also accused us of wasting her sparklers stating that a family member saw one of us burn up a bunch of sparklers. I explained to her that prior to the formal departure we counted out exactly how many sparklers we needed to have one for each guest. We did have a couple extra ones as some of the guests had left, so we lit those and held them up to add to the effects of the photo. After the couple got in the horse carriage (that I arranged for them) the guests started handing their burning sparklers to the coordinator. She had to hold them and let them burn out because once they are lit, you cannot put them out, they have to burn out. So she had a bunch of sparklers in her hand from all the guests, not because we wasted them. In her email she expressed that she expected some compensation for our terrible service and at least for the wasted sparklers. I explained to her that often times a family member will see something and not really knowing what's going on, assumes that it is something bad. She had one unopened box and several packages out of the first box still left over. Nothing was wasted.

    As for us being MIA or unavailable that simply is not true. We were always either in the ballroom or the kitchen adjacent to the ballroom. I stood in the ballroom and watched the bride dance. She appeared to be having a really good time so I didn't want to interrupt her. The groom did come to me at one point while I was in the kitchen to request that we go ahead and do the bouquet and garter toss. And yes, I was on the phone. I was trying to locate the venue manager because the photographer wanted to do some night shots and was asking if there was any lighting outside. I wasn't able to find her on the property so I was calling her to find out about the lights.

    We actually did the bouquet and garter toss a little early because the bride was afraid that too many guests were leaving early; so we went ahead and had the bouquet and garter toss. Guests leaving early seemed to be a real hot button with this bride. She mentioned to me on many occasions that she didn't want guests to leave early. So I had a conversation with the DJ and asked him to make some announcements about staying till the end because we had a big sparkler send off planned, which he did a great job of working the crowd and getting people to stay. He even got on the dance floor with everyone to work the crowd.
    I told her prior to the wedding that people might want to leave early as the wedding was on a Sunday night and lots of folks might be worried about getting home at a decent hour.
    Her reply was that we were supposed to "Make" things happen not just let them happen. I tried to explain that there are some things that are just out of our control, like guests leaving early.
    There still seems to be some confusion on what exactly were we supposed to 'make' happen.

    I can say with all certainty that this wedding required a great deal of coordination as the bride had very detailed instructions on every aspect of her wedding. I can also say that everything went almost exactly as we had it on the Itinerary that she approved. The only exception was the bouquet and garter toss and they actually happened a little earlier due to her request. She had specific instructions for everything including not letting anyone in the ballroom until they were finished with photo's and were ready to make their entrance down the staircase.
    And now I'm also reading for the first time that she doesn't think we deserve our tips so I will be refunding those to her.

    Lost Photos

    If I could give this company 0 stars I would. We planned a wedding at the beach. Everything went as expected. We were supposed to get our wedding pictures within a few weeks. We heard nothing from the planner. We reached out numerous times. Finally we heard that all of the photos that we payed $500 were lost. My wife was heartbroken. At first they refused to refund any of the photo money. After going back and forth they said they would refund the money. Three weeks later they sent only part of what we paid. We were in formed that we got a discounted rate other than what we were quoted and would not receive the rest which we were never informed of. After ruining one of the most important days in a couples life you would think they would make it right. Guess not. Horrible customer service.

    On the day of this wedding, everything went beautifully. The photographer took lots of photo's but unfortunately he lost them. This is the first time this has happened and we sincerely apologize on behalf of the photographer. We know the importance of your wedding photo's and we wish there was some way we could recover them. The photographer did try for a couple of weeks to recover the photo's but was unable ot. The photographer did reach out to the bride to let her know that the photo's had been lost and she misunderstood him to say that he wouldn't refund their money when in fact he said he could refund their money but he would rather see if he could recover the photo's. I advised him to go ahead and refund their money which he did. This couple mistakenly thought they were charged $500 for the photo's but when they changed their package right before the wedding, they went with one of our budget pre-designed packages in which the services are offered at a discounted rate - which is why they are called budget packages. The original package I sent the groom's mother back in May was a custom package of services listed at their full retail prices. She paid the deposit and said the couple would get back with me on which services they wanted. We tried numerous times to reach the couple over the summer and confirm what services they wanted but they never responded to our emails or calls. Two weeks before the wedding the groom finally emailed us and said they didn't want to pay that much for the wedding and told me what services he wanted. I suggested one of our budget packages where he would be able to get the services he wanted at a discounted price. He was not charged full retail price for the photography service as part of the budget package. The photographer was paid $375 for this wedding and that is what was refunded to them. We also tried to offer them another photo session but they declined.
