LOur wedding was amazing and the day flew by so fast! But our photographer captured so many fun moments and composed some wonderful posed shots as well. She was super friendly and nice, and I LOVE every shot! I would say after looking at her photos, it made me realize how important it is to hire the right photographer to capture something that’ll only happen once. Support this artist and you won’t be disappointed, but delighted on all of the great pics you have to remember the day with. -

The wedding photos we dreamed of...
Nicole with The Still Life Photography is incredibly talented. I am still in awe of our wedding photos. We have received nothing but praise and compliments at how beautiful the photos turned out. She is flexible and fast on her feet to take the perfect photos. She was outside with us in the middle of January in downtown Chicago. She made the whole experience quick, easy and painless. And most importantly, the pictures turned out beautifully. I mean above and beyond what I had imagined. Nicole was open to suggestions and was just overall great with dealing with a large party. I keep looking at the photos - I am so grateful for all of the photos and her hard work. -

Seriously Nicole was the real MVP. We had a small wedding 12/11/21 and we were on a difficult budget. I spent a long time looking for photographers and finally found Nicole. I reached out to her and got her pricing. It was a littler higher than our budget and I let her know. She worked with me on our day of schedule and got the price down based on how long we would really need her. I was extremely grateful for her help on both of these things. Once onsite, Nicole was incredible. She was so fast yet so detail oriented. Super pleasant and awesome to talk with. We got all our photos we wanted plus more and they turned out amazing. Because our wedding was the last of the year, we got a quick sneak peak in a few days and ALL the photos in 12 days! 12 days!!! I am obsessed with them, all I can do is look at smile. I let her know that I prefer candids and she included a bunch of random photos that other people might called unfinished but I adored. Thank you so much Nicole! We will treasure these photos always!! -

I would absolutely recommend Nicole & Jay to anyone! Nicole was our main point of communication. She was prompt in responding to emails, texts, questions—all things stressed out brides may need to know. When we first met with her she made us feel comfortable and she was super eager to listen to our vision for our day. For engagement pictures she was flexible since we had some weather issues and willing to do whatever we wanted. On our wedding day both her and Jay worked together and man are they a great team! They were so fun and easy to work with. Their cost is way less than other photographers for everything included and for such great quality and service it would be silly not to book them! Thank you guys!! -

Not only is Nicole an amazing photographer, she just is a kind, helpful, flexible person who now I just want to be friends with! She was so easy to talk to pre-wedding about what we wanted, even sent me full galleries of other weddings at our venue she had shot so I could get a great feel of her style.
She makes you feel so comfortable when you’re shooting, and is always ready with the next idea and next shot so there was never any time where she didn’t know what to do next. It rained (pretty heavily) but we had these cute umbrellas and I wanted a few outdoor shots, and she was all about it, put on a rain coat, and did it with a smile.
We also had big families that we wanted shots of, but since we weren’t doing a first look, these needed to happen during cocktail hour. With 40+ people milling around, she was great and just the powerful presence we needed to get everyone to pay attention and move through those big pictures quickly so we could get to our couple shots.
Highly recommend Nicole! -
Hannah Sent on 06/05/2018Nicole was such a dream to work with! She is polite and professional, and is great at taking charge and getting a large group to focus on a photo! That was quite the challenge at our wedding with our crazy families, but Nicole handled it like a champion. Her photos are absolutely gorgeous, and she even texted me some sneak peeks the night of the wedding! She is fast, efficient, talented, and everything that you could want in a wedding photographer. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Jennifer Sent on 12/27/2017I would give Nicole a million stars if I could. I was 100% impressed with her from the get-go. As I somewhat nervous bride, she totally calmed my fears and had answers for all of my many MANY questions.
From the start, her upbeat personality really struck a chord with me. She knows how to make photos fun, keep things moving (even with our large LOUD party) and the results were unbeatable. Her creativity is limitless and her enthusiasm is contagious.
I truly cherish our wedding photos. We were in the security line at the airport en route to our honeymoon when she sent me our blog post. The photos were so moving, I burst into uncontrollable tears. Nicole knows how to tell a story with imagery and she captured our personalities as if she'd known us our entire lives.
I would recommend The Still Life Photography without hesitation to anyone. Nicole really is the best. -

Mira Sent on 07/21/2016We booked The Still Life Photography for engagement pictures as preparation for our wedding. Nicole was very responsive and always confirmed appointments. The pictures turned out great and she had a great turn around time. She sent a sample of our pictures a few days after the shoot so we got a preview. The entire collection was sent about a week later. She communicated her progress well and kept us up to date on the timeline. We'll be using her for our wedding. -

Noemi Sent on 12/27/2017they drove all the way from chicago to Muskegon to cover for our wedding, Super flexible and talented! Love working with, I like that they still keep in touch even over a year or two from your big day! I think we were there 7th wedding ever but they did great, been followin nicole in facebook and instagram and i could see even more great an awesome photos! Highly recommended!
