The Stable at Riverview met and exceeded my expectations. Rayma was amazing to work with!!! She and her crew made my vision come to life, which allowed me to focus on getting ready and enjoying time with my bridal party. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding.

We could not be happier with our decision to have our wedding at the Stable at Riverview or to hire Rayma as our wedding coordinator. From start to finish, we were so excited and happy and relieved to find this incredible place and work with these really good people. The site is beautiful and so peaceful. It was really hard for us to find a venue that felt like us and this was it! They offer a range of packages so we were able to do what worked best for us. Rayma did so much for us leading up to the wedding and on the day of. She is kind, creative, hardworking, and organized. She was so invested in our wedding, and she felt like family by the end of our wedding day. My mom and I were able to really enjoy and soak up the day because of all her help. If you are looking for a venue with gorgeous views, rustic elegance, a great rain plan, and an awesome coordinator, this is the place for you. Thank you so much Rayma and Pat for all you did to make our day so special and perfect for us!

The owners of the stable were so nice and easy to work with throughout all of my wedding planning. The venue was absolutely incredible and my guests had nothing but great things to say about it. During planning, if we had questions or needed anything, the owners were quick to respond and very flexible in helping us meet our needs. As far as the barn goes, it offers a huge alley way for guests to use as a ceremony or reception site and there are numerous areas around the outside of the barn that can be used for the ceremony as well. The owners just recently added a tented outdoor area located on the backside of the barn. We used this area for our cocktail hour and as a place for guests to escape the hot sun. I truly have nothing but good things to say about River View Stable after using it as my wedding venue. If I could repeat my wedding, I wouldn't think twice about using it as my wedding venue again!

The Stable at Riverview is a beautiful place to get married and offers multiple locations for outdoor and indoor ceremonies. I loved the atmosphere and location of the venue being back off the road and the scenery was spectacular. The only draw back for the venue is the lack of insulation and central heating and air for winter weddings, but we got lucky with our December wedding being a warmer day. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding!

The owners were great to work with and very flexible with a hurricane hitting the weekend of our wedding! The venue is just beautiful with choice of a pond out front, a white tent with permanent decking, and the barn. Highly recommend for spring or fall weddings!

Rayma, the venue manager is AWESOME! She responds to all emails/texts/phone calls very promptly. She will give you decoration ideas, she will help you decorate, she'll provide some of the decorations if need be. She is very flexible, however the owners of the venue are not so much. The owners idea of "all day access" is not what the rest of the world calls "all day access." Rayma created this bridal room designed for getting ready, and we were told we had all day access. However when I said we were going to be there at 9:30, I was informed by Rayma via the owners (the night before the wedding), there was no need for me to be there at early. But I could be there at 11, which is 3 hours earlier than "all day access" - as a bride, getting ready starting at 2 is impossible for a 5:00 wedding. Thankfully it worked out since he agreed to let us come at 11 - but be warned all day access to them is not the same as all day access to a bride.

Beautiful venue!! The owners are still new and learning. They are making upgrades to the venue to make it truly a venue for special occasions as opposed to just a stable. One of the options (other than the mere beauty of the place) that we liked was having the option to rent the day before the event and the day after for setup/cleanup. However, on the event day, only 8 hours is included in the rental, extra hours are available, but at a premium rate.

We recently got married at The Stable at Riverview and while Rayma and her team were BEYOND amazing (she has since left this venue for a different one) I can't help but not recommend them for future weddings. Our day was perfect and beautiful but:
- the owner was showing the venue to prospective brides all morning while we were getting ready and decorating. I paid for the venue for the day and found this VERY disrespectful to myself and family. I had a few of my vendors and friends ask me what was going on and as a bride I shouldn't have had to deal with that.
- Also, my contract specifically said I had ALL DAY access to the venue so when Rayma asked me the night before what time we were getting there on wedding day I explained my hair and makeup artist needed us there at 10a. She said the owner (Pat) only allows 8 hours and I would have to pay an additional $150 per hours before noon and $100 after noon to use the bridal room to get ready. I explained to Rayma that the contract I signed stated I had all day access and shouldn't have to pay because he wanted to change how the contract was worded (and the contract wording for new contracts had since been changed to 8 hours and not all day). I ended up having to pay $250 to use the space from 10a until the wedding started - I was unable to change locations for getting ready at the last minute and this really made me upset that I had to pay any extra at all!!
- YOU (the paying bride/groom/family) are responsible for trash after 4 bags are filled or they charge per bag they have to get rid of (and you will have more than 4 if you have wine/beer, we almost weren't able to get everything in one trip after the wedding and my parents were in a panic because they knew we would be charged - they asked if they could come back and some of the team didn't seem to think they could - they ended up getting everything in one trip but I hate my mom and dad were in a panic afterwards because of trash! )
- They will charge for EVERYTHING (I had initially planned to use the wine barrels that are at the venue, Rayma then explained the night before Pat charges $35 per barrel to use them so I changed my aisle entrance decor which looked beautiful anyways but still...)

I think this venue lost a great asset when Rayma left and I would not recommend using it without her. Again my day was amazing all because of her!
