Incredible experience

Coming to this shop made me feel like I was on a tv show like Say Yes to the Dress. The shop is beautiful and has a ton of dresses at different price points. The team there is so polite and really pays attention to what you want without being pushy. I highly recommend!

Amazing experience

Blake was fantastic. I had a large group with me(mom,MIL,bridesmaids) and something blue was very accommodating! Blake allowed me to browse the dresses and she pulled some also and I happened to choose a dress we both pulled! I couldn’t have asked for a better staff and a better selection to choose from. The seamstress was also amazing, and everyone was so so sweet and welcoming. The Something Blue Shoppe is definitely a must when dress shopping, I would do it all over again if I could.

My experience at The Something Blue Shoppe was fantastic. Paige Wilson was my consultant and she made sure I got exactly what I came in there for. The dress I bought was within my budget and exactly what I had described to her. Seeing my husband’s face when he saw me in my gown for the first time was priceless. Cannot thank these ladies and gentlemen enough for helping me find the dress of my dreams to marry the man of my dreams! Highly recommend!

Wedding dress perfection!

I had the best experience!! It was a one stop shop for me. Dress veil and earrings! All perfect. Highly recommend something blue!!

Wonderful!!

Something Blue was absolutely amazing and made dress shopping a breeze! Paige was super sweet and helpful in finding my dream dress. The ease of it all definitely helped relieve some stress from my family and I while planning the wedding! I highly reccomend The Something Blue Shoppe!

Excellent: Caring and Professional!!

Something Blue was amazing. I had Blake when I went in to find my dress and she definitely made it happen!! I tried on at least 10 dresses and the final was one she pulled that was exactly what I had described. It was a little over our budget but it was doable and the dress was beyond perfect. Absolutely STUNNING. Blake and the other employees were there every step of the way for me. If I had a question, needed to make a payment, or needed Blake specifically. They answered my questions if they could or had Blake call me back. Everything was done and handled in a timely manor. We got a surprise in January (we’re expecting a baby with our wedding in April) and Blake and Christy (the shop’s seamstress) jumped into action immediately. Blake assured me they would do everything in their power to make the dress work and Christy made it happen. We got the extra fabric in a little over a month before and Christy went straight to work on it. The dress was taken apart on the sides and pieced back together with the matching lace and HAND BEADED perfectly to a T. Just like it came from the factory. I cannot say enough about these people. Absolutely phenomenal. The first photos are before the dress had to be altered and then the day of our wedding. (I don’t have our professional photos back yet! I’m sorry!) Also had to include my picture with Blake, the day I said yes! To my dress!

Amazing experience!

Suzanna was amazing and really made wedding shopping an easy and enjoyable experience! I told her what I liked, and bought the first dress I tried on. She knows what she’s doing! They also offer great discounts on bridesmaid dresses, invitations, and so much more. I spent a little more than my dress budget, but I’ll be able to counter the cost with all the discounts they offer!

Dream experience

An absolute DREAM! Paige was amazing, patient and an absolute sweetheart! I had a vision in my head of what I wanted and it just didn’t work for me but Paige helped me find my perfect dress! I’m so glad this was my first and only stop and I can’t wait to wear my perfect dress!!!

The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The assortment of dresses to choose from was huge. They did a superb job ordering the correct size, which was important for us since my daughter lives and works in the UK and would not be home until 2 weeks before the wedding. We did not have time for extensive alterations, but only a few minor ones were required. We will definitely shop there for my next daughter's wedding dress.

I worked with Susanne to find my wedding dress, and with Amanda to get my bridesmaids dresses. Both ladies are AWESOME! I was uncertain of what I really wanted when I came in, but Susanne helped me quickly find dresses to suit my style and I fell in love with the third one I tried on! Amanda is also wonderful to work with. She is very knowledgeable about each designer and every last detail of her job. She also has wonderful suggestions and advice, but only if you ask her to share! Wonderful shop with wonderful employees. They made the dress process very easy for us!

I worked with Paige to find my dress and she did an incredible job. I came in for my initial appointment with a few pictures of what I liked and she found many different dresses that I not only loved but were with in my budget. The hardest part was narrowing it down to just one. She also kept in touch with as my dress and accessories arrived in the store and set-up my courtesy pressing appointment for me. She was great to work with and the shop is beautiful!

I had went to, two other dress shops looking for my perfect wedding gown and I had no luck. I remember crying and thinking that I was never going to find the perfect dress for me. I heard about The Something Blue Shoppe in Hartselle, Alabama and even though it was somewhat of a drive for me, we headed to Hartselle and made a great trip out of it! The Something Blue Shoppe treated me with so much kindness! I felt like I was purchasing a gown from family. They helped me find the perfect gown for my big day, as well as, helping me find the perfect accessories. I also let my bridesmaids pick their dresses out here, and the color was just what I imagined! Every person at this dress shoppe made me feel as if I was their only customer. All focus is on the bride to go above and beyond her expectations. Even after I got my gown, and after my wedding was over, I know without a shadow of doubt, that I will forever have a friend in The Something Blue Shoppe!

I love this place! I have seen other brides suffer from choosing a place like David's Bridal, and I knew I wouldn't be doing that to myself. Something Blue was perfect and helped me find the dress for me! Great service as well. A fun experience.

Where do I begin! This was honestly my only experience dress shopping for myself. I saw the dress I wanted on their Instagram, tried it on, and knew it was the only one I needed to try! They were so accommodating and understanding through the whole process. And the environment of the store is so laid back it makes it a much easier process!

I went to several shops before arriving at Something Blue. Not only did I find the perfect dress, the sales lady was so professional and helpful. As a bride, you can get a little demanding and she had no problem working with me. Not only that, I got my dress back in 2 weeks! Now that is rare but it just added to my happiness with them!

Amazing. I had a wonderful experience while finding MY dress:) I went in with it in my head that I wanted a certain look and had quite a large group with me. My consultant was fantastic, she didn't skip a beat, pulled any dress my family picked but made sure not to actually put it in the room if it was over budget. She was the one who found my dress, I didn't want to put it on because it was not "the look I thought I wanted" IT WAS THE ONE. I felt like a Bride. Everyone cried. Trust your consultants! and Trust Something Blue Shoppe!
And TJ is awesome too!

Ms. Kim at Something Blue is AMAZING. She did not pull a single dress that was out of budget, she encouraged me to try on everything (I didn't feel rushed for one minute), and she was just as excited about my dress as I was! I had been to other Bridal stores and didn't have the "bridal" feeling that I had at Something Blue. I also ended up having to rush order my dress, and Kim took the time to call the distributor directly, check on my size, and was able to give me an accurate ship date on my dress. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to every bride looking for the perfect dress and the perfect wedding dress shopping experience. Everyone in the store was so nice and friendly! I am so thankful for sweet Ms. Kim and the incredible staff at Something Blue. They made me even more excited to marry the love of my life!

My wedding dress shopping experience was wonderful! My mom and I had tried a few stores before this one, but they were by far my favorite. They had the best selection of dresses and treated you like a princess! We had a blast spending part of our day there, and I couldn't have loved my dress more! Alterations were also super easy as they have someone come in to do it a few days a week. I had my dress within 1 week after meeting for alterations.

The Something Blue Shoppe gave me the perfect bridal experience. My stylist was Pat, but I ended up working with TJ a lot, too. I'm a bit of an unusual bride who doesn't really like traditional things, and I had a very specific vision in mind for my dress. The staff was so warm and accommodating, and they really went out of their way to make me feel special and get me the exact right details for my dress.

When I loved the style of one dress but the beading on the other, TJ worked with his overseas vendors to get me extra beading and lace to create a custom dress that was exactly what I wanted.

Every time I needed something they were so responsive and helpful, even when I didn't realize you had to make an appointment to try on your dress and showed up unexpectedly, they still found room for me and a mirror I could use.

Also they give you free chocolate chip cookies!

The Something Blue Shoppe (and especially my consultant Kim Williams) truly helped to make my wedding a dream come true! They were very understanding and flexible with my schedule for appointment times. They always kept me in the loop about where we were in the process with my dress. Kim made me feel so at ease and ultimately she found the perfect dress for me! She has a great eye for the perfect gown! Everyone at the Something Blue Shoppe was so kind and helpful! Something Blue Shoppe was so wonderful to get my dress from! I especially loved the personal touches, like the hand written note from my consultant! The helped me make sure my dress matched my mom's veil that I wore, and the even repaired my veil for me! I would definitely recommend Something Blue Shoppe!

This was the second place I went to try on dresses and it was different than any other bridal store I've been in. They are so friendly! It seems that warmth doesn't abound in the bridal attire community. But does at Something Blue! Everyone I encountered was so helpful, they remembered my name, and they seemed like they genuinely wanted to get to know my mom and me. The alterations weren't exactly perfect the first time and I was leaving the next day. They had the adjustments made within a couple of hours! TJ was so great to work with. He even searched for a pair of earrings on his own time. He told me honestly (but kindly) what made my body look great and what I should avoid. He was gentle with the criticism and it really helped guide me toward my best style. I felt absolutely gorgeous in my dress and accessories and I needed that guidance to get there. My full-lace dream dress with a train, my veil, custom headpiece, earrings, and shoes came to around $2000 all together! VERY affordable!

I tried on probably a hundred wedding dresses, and found the most beautiful, perfect one at a reasonalbe price at Something Blue. The were professional and friendly, and I cannot recommend them enough! Also, their alterations person is amazing!!!!

During my wedding dress search I went to 6 different dress shops. None of them compared to something blue shoppe! The women there are fantastic, professional, sweet, and cared about what I looked like & how I felt in my dress. The store lay out is so much better than any other as well. It felt like a personalized experience. The dress I purchased was AMAZING! I love this shop and have AND will recommend it to any bride:-)

I ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from Something Blue. They have been absolutely wonderful! I actually chose my wedding dress before I ended up at Something Blue, so I didn't go through the trying on process, but everyone I've seen there seems to really enjoy the experience. Everyone who works there that I've spoken to are so sweet and willing to help. All but one of my bridesmaids were out of town so I was nervous about getting all their dresses ordered, but they worked with each of the girls to make sure they were getting the right size for their measurements and that dresses were ordered in the right amount of time. Everything came in right on time and fit everyone almost perfect! I'm so grateful to have had such a reliable source for our dresses and I would highly recommend them to new brides and bridesmaids.

The ladies over at the Something Blue Shoppe in Hartselle were a pleasure to work with! I found my dress on the first visit there! Cristal was there at every visit and was a biiiiig help everytime! She made me feel special and is very pleasant to work with. They always keep fresh cookies and lemonade for the customers :) . I even purchased my shoes from them. My shoes were absolutely GORGEOUS! They were pink and covered in swarovski crystals! I definitely felt and looked like a princess on my wedding day. I would highly recommend them, they gave excellent customer service everytime!

They have a wide and beautiful selection of dresses!! They are very patient and let you try on as many dresses as you would like. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable. Robin my consultant and she was wonderful! I showed her several pictures of dresses I liked and she was able to distinguish what style of dress I loved. (I showed these pictures at different bridal shop and their consultant said wow you have a lot of pictures go ahead and look for yourself) I was really pleased and able to find my dream dress there! What is even more special is this is the same place my mom got her dress and my sister just got her wedding dress there too!!

My appointment was centered around what I dreamed of and what looked perfect on me. I found my dress very quickly, went around to several other shops to make sure I wasn't being too hasty, and finally decided that the dress and the store were the most perfect choices in the southeast. We got my wedding dress, hair piece, shoes, and my mom's dress here. They were so great work with and were so nice and helpful when we were there. I took in some pictures of dresses I liked and the consultant who helped us pulled some dresses similar but also let us look through the dresses and pull any others I liked. If I had it all to do over again I would look there again. They made my wedding dress shopping experience a fun and exciting time, as it should be. I found the dress of my dreams!

Melanie at Something Blue helped me with my bridal gown. Melanie picked out several dresses for me to try on ; the first one I tried on was the one I chose. The fit was perfect, and the only alterations needed was to add the sleeves to my dress. I ordered my dress in October and did not expect it to come in until March--they receieved my dress in January much to my surprise. Since the dress came far before my wedding date, they held my dress at the store so nothing would happen to it--I really appreciated that service they provide to brides. Thanks!

The Something Blue Shoppe was so wonderful and helpful throughtout the entire dress search, find and alter process. Weeks after ordering my dress, we found out the design had been discontinued. Something Blue was so dedicated to helping me find the best alternative. I found the perfect wedding dress at this little shoppe in Hartselle. I had no idea that they would have such a wonderful selection of dresses and prices. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was quite helpful. The seamstress did an absolutely Fantastic job, from my understanding, she does nothing but wedding dresses.

I would highly recommend this shop for any bride who hasn't found the perfect dress yet!

My only negative is that the hair pieces can be rather pricey.

Wonderful experience! By far the easiest part of my entire wedding planning process. I love that they don't require an appointment - you can come whenever it's most convenient for you and they don't set a time limit or a limit on how many dresses you can try on. They also let you see their entire stock of dresses! There are lots of shops that only let you try on 4-5 dresses and limit the dresses you can see. I ordered my gown, veil, headpiece (which I later had turned into a beautiful bracelet by the manufacturer), shoes and invitations from them. They were beyond nice and attentive every time I was there - they made you feel like you were the only person in the shop! Everything came in on time and correctly! I have recommended this shop to everyone and will continue to do so - I now live in California and was married almost two years ago but still rave about it!

I bought my wedding dress and veil at Something Blue. I am relatively short, so it is difficult to find a dress that is going to fit without significant alteration. After going to a few other boutiques, at which I had seen decent dresses, but none that I really loved, I went to Something Blue. I tried on a dress that fit very well off the rack, and also learned that they do a process called "hollow-to-hem" where they take your measurements and craft the dress to custom-fit your height. Although this is an added cost, this service is invaluable to women like me, and looks so much better than receiving a too-long dress that must then be altered to fit one's height.

I was a little worried about going to the Something Blue Shoppe because my dress budget was on the lower end of the scale ($500-$700). Fortunately, they had an incredible range of dresses in all price ranges! I must have tried on 20- the lady who helped me was incredibly patient. She actually talked me out of a panic attack as I walked in. After I ordered my dress it took slightly longer than they had thought to get in it. I exchanged numerous emails with them, and they kept me updated. They were very helpful and (safely) shipped the dress to me across the country so that I could get it altered (now I have to take it back across the country to get married). Again, they were very patient with my hundreds of questions about mailing my dress. It arrived safe and sound, and it's absolutely gorgeous!

I highly recommend this shop.

I absolutely LOVE The Something Blue Shoppe! I looked at every store possible in Huntsville, then decided to go ahead and head out to Hartselle to look at Something Blue, and there I found the perfect dress! Both of my sisters and several friends found their wedding dresses there. They have the best selection of any shop around. I know of people that have come from Birmingham to get their wedding dress at Something Blue! Their service is great, very sweet ladies. They let you take your time trying on as many dresses as you want. When I narrowed it down to my two favorites I must have gone back and forth 5 times trying each on, and they waited patiently for me to make my decision. I got my dress, shoes, veil, headpiece, garter, and HALF OFF of my invitations here! They also have great mother of the bride and bridesmaids dresses, just not as large of a selection as brides dresses. Absolutely recommend!

Something Blue was the first place I went to look for my wedding dress and ended up being the only place I needed to go. With the help of Emily, my dress consultant, I picked out about 8 dresses to try and get an idea of what styles I liked best on me. I didn't need to pick out any more than those 8 because the perfect one was there! The seamstress did a beautiful job and was very quick at getting the dress back to me. When I had my bridal shoot, I fell out of a swing (of course I would do that!) and ripped the zipper but when I called Something Blue freaking out, they told me not to worry and to bring my dress in. The seamstress had it fixed in less than a week and they cleaned the dirt off the back and no one ever knew.

I had a great time shopping for my dress with my mom at the Something Blue Shop. We called to see if we needed an appointment and they said "no, just come on in!" so we did, and we had a blast. The girls were all so nice, and helped me try on about 30 dresses that all had the same basic shape and idea, until I narrowed it down to the one PERFECT dress. I took my dress back there to have it sized, and it fit like a glove for the wedding day. I couldn't be anymore pleased!

I loved The Something Blue Shoppe! They were great with me and my bridesmaids and really knew exactly what I wanted! They asked me questions about what all I wanted in the dress and what type of wedding we were having and were able to find some perfect options for me to try on. The atmosphere was also very inviting. While I was there trying on dresses they had a pianist playing the whole time with some calming music. Many of my friends have had such great experiences at Something Blue that I traveled back home to North Alabama from Greenville, SC to shop here. I could not be happier that I did! The experience of trying on dresses with my two best friends and my mother is one I will always cherish. The staff was so kind and helpful and truly made the experience magical. I found my dream dress (the exact dress I had seen in a magazine and liked turned out to the be the one!). We did not do a first look at our wedding so the first time my husband saw the dress was as I walked down the aisle. He told me afterwards that if he had unlimited choice of dresses, the one I wore would have been his exact pick also. The staff is so knowledgable and can truly make you feel like a beautiful bride, no matter your budget. We also purchased our invitations through their in house discount after buying my dress with them. They turned out to be absolutely stunning and arrived only a week after ordering them.

Something Blue was an excellent experience for me! They helped me find the perfect dress and kept it within my price range. The only tricky thing is getting the dress altered. They bring in seamstresses that don't work at the store and only do fittings/alterations on Thursdays and Fridays. So if you want to get everything done at Something Blue, make sure you have plenty of time to set it up.

I purchased my dress at The Something Blue Shoppe in Hartselle. The staff was both friendly and helpful. I initially worked with Emily to find a dress. She was great. Not only was she patient, but she worked hard to find dresses that suited my budget and taste. Because we planned our wedding in a little less than 5 months, I was limited on which dresses they would be able to rush to me. Luckily they were able to rush the one I decided on. I also purchased my veil from them. I was fortunate. My original idea to make my own veil fell through however they had the veil I wanted in stock and were able to deliver it to me upon purchase. The seamstress was also very friendly and able to complete my alteration in a shorter time period than most. In addition, when I called about picking up my dress a couple of days before originally scheduled, they already had it pressed and waiting! I work 6 days a week so the fact that they are open until 8:00 pm on Thursdays was a huge help! Overall, I was completely satisfied.

The Something Blue Shoppe did a great job of helping me find the dress for me. Kim helped me pick out my dress, and she did a great job of helping me figure out my likes and dislikes. I wish I could have looked at the dresses a bit more, but I understand that some customers might feel overwhelmed by that. The only complaint I have is that the store did a bad job of letting me know when my dressed arrived from alterations. By the week of my wedding, I still had not received a call, so I called them only to find that the dress had been there, but no one thought about calling me to let me know. I found that to be a bit aggravating since I paid a high ticket for my dress.

I think this is probably the best place in North Alabama (or maybe the entire state!) to get a bridal dress. You can look around at all the other places in the area, but chances are, "The Dress" is going to be here. Save yourself the stress and headache and just go straight to this store. No need to shop around. (I learned that the hard way!)

The Something Blue Shoppe was probably the 10th shop my Matron of Honor and I visited. We had found dresses we liked, but nothing that we loved. When we arrived at the TSBS, we were greeted and taken care of immediately. My only issue during my experience with them was when my dress arrived (7 months later) and I tried it on - it didn't fit. I was freaking out a little when a lady (who I believe was the owner / manager) came in and acted like it was nothing to worry about. She didn't seem concerned that there was a problem and even less concerned that I was worried about it. Also, no one came in with me when I put the dress on - my Matron of Honor and I had to put it on ourselves. I was a bit disappointed with the service at that point.

The lady who does the alterations was great! She doesn't actually work for TSBS, she's just their preferred seamstress. She was very timid, but did an excellent job on my dress!

I got my wedding dress from here and I loved it! It was half as much as others I was looking at, but a much better quality than chain stores, such as David's Bridal. The women were very helpful and I was able to get my dress, veil, headpiece, and shoes for the wedding day. I also received half off of the invitations for buying from there. The only problem I had w/ invitations was they sent the wrong envelopes and after I called, I had the correct ones w/in a week, free of charge. I highly recommend going here for a dress or stationary. They have many different dresses and prices to choose from

The Something Blue Shop was a cute little shop. Lindsey was the girl who helped me, and she was very sweet. She helped me to try on the dresses and helped with information on slips, corsets, etc. They ordered my dress for me in the size and colour I wanted, and hemmed it for me to the right length. Overall, the pricing was a little high for dress and hemming, but the atmosphere and people were pleasant and they had the perfect dress, so price wasn't really an issue.

My experience with the shoppe was mixed. I had a wonderful time trying on dresses and working with the consultant, but then had issues with the dress and was told "I get what I pay for" by their fashion specialist,very unprofessional. Aside from that, I really would suggest them, don't let my spoiled experience ruin yours.

I got my bridesmaids dresses here. All of them ended up being to big for the girls, so they all had to be altered. If you know you're a size 6 don't let them order you a size 8 or 10, get a 6!!! Overall, prices were good and they had a lot to choose from!

The something blue shop has a wonderful selection of very different bridal gowns. If you are looking for something different in your dress you should check the out. I wanted a vintage styled dress, that would also be good for a farm wedding. I bought a Pronovias dress that was covered completely in Vintage lace, The dress was breathtaking, but a little more expensive than I wanted to pay. The something blue shoppe offers a seamstress to alter your dress, but like some shops that include altering into the price of your dress they do not. I believe that the cost of having my dress altered was reasonable though. Their seamstress is not available everyday to be measured so if you have to travel to Harselle to be fitted you make want to consider this in choosing a vendor. The consultants were very professional and most were friendly. I was a bit disappointed on my wedding day however, because the consultant had told me that the boning in my dress would be supportive on its own without a strapless bra underneath. I trusted her judgement and was falling out of my dress the entire day. I loved my dress and wish i could wear it everyday, I was happy with the choice that I made in selecting my gown, and having that " Bridal moment." I do wish however that i had not listened to the store associate and had more support on my wedding day.

Most of those ladies that work there were really rude. The only time I got good service was before I started to pay for my dress. I must say I should of had them alter the dress, but hein sight is only 20/20. They were really pushy about getting the brides maid dresses ordered, but took 3 weeks to order them. I ordered my dress in September, didn't receive it until March. The weren't that helpful. And near the time of the wedding, I was just about ready to ask for my money back.

What can I say? My dress was gorgeous, but I definitely can't recommend them. Disorganized and unprofessional, each person will tell you something different and overall just make the process more difficult. I should have known when on my first visit, my sales assistant spent a significant amount of time trying to convince me to wear a strapless dress when I specifically told her that just wasn't an option. I understand you "don't know until you try" but I told her this wasn't about fashion, this was a modesty issue. And yet she persisted. That wasn't the only issue I had, but that's where I'll stop. Go somewhere where they take stress away, not add to your stress level.

I was not completely satisfied with this shop. My dress was expensive and i paid my own money for it.. So i expected the dress to actually last. I took bridal photos and the little lifts all over the dress fell down. i took it back and they refused to fix it. in the end they ended up fixing in but on my wedding day the pleats fell out again. not even a quarter through the wedding . I was very disappointed.

I did find the perfect dress at The Something Blue Shop - however, the shop ordered the wrong size and made no apologies, just we will fix it; in the end, my dress was gorgeous, but I didnt know what my final dress looked like until the week of my wedding (alterations that I had to pay for, of course, approximately $200.00) which was unnecessary stress on my part. Also, they told me when I ordered my $1200 dress that they would call me when it came in I waited and finally called them, it was in the store. Then I ordered my $400.00 headpiece and $250.00 veil from them. The absolute only reason that I bought the $400.00 headpiece was because I was told that the particular brand that I was purchasing could be sent back to the manufacturer and be made into a piece of jewelry free of charge. A month after my wedding, I went to send the headpiece back to the manufacturer, thinking that I would take it to the bridal shop and they would take care of things for me because I had never talked to the manufacturer before, I thought it was the only way to go about having my headpiece turned into jewelry. I called the bridal shop to see when I should bring it in. They said they didnt handle anything with the headpiece following the wedding and that I would have to check the manufacturers website for further instructions. I thought that was extremely weird and was a little upset that I was going to have to take the time and money to ship the headpiece; however I checked the manufacturers website for the shipping instructions only to find out that the restringing process was going to cost me at least another $100.00. I called The Something Blue Shop back, thinking this HAS to be a mistake the absolute only reason my father allowed me to purchase the overly expensive headpiece was because we were told that at no additional charge it would be made into something I could wear on a daily basis. I was told by The Something Blue that I MUST have been mistaken, that none of their associates would have ever said that, and more excuses I then told them that I had not been happy with the customer service I had received throughout the whole wedding process; I brought attention to all the mistakes that had been made with ordering the wrong size dress, which I was told it is not our fault that you could not fit into the dress that we ordered you. After being put on hold numerous times, never being told Im sorry, being passed around to numerous associates, I finally just hung up for fear that I would blow a vein from being so angry! It is sad that approximately $2200.00 spent does not mean anything to The Something Blue Shop and does not warrant decent customer service.

I purchased my matron of honor's dress at The Something Blue Shoppe, and the only thing I was satisfied with was the dress itself. The Jasmine Bridal dress was great. The customer service, on the other hand, was not. We stood by ourselves waiting for someone to acknowledge that we were needing service for at least 15 minutes. Then once we found a dress, they encouraged me to put a $30 rush delivery on the order to ensure it arrive within seven weeks, and it did not arrive to the store until more than nine weeks after ordering.

Then when I finally was able to speak with someone over the phone to get confirmation that my dress had arrived, I told her that my mom was leaving work early to come pick the dress up. I informed her that she would be driving from 45 minutes away so depending on traffic she may be there right at 5 p.m. The clerk then rudely told me that there may not be anyone there because they "close promptly at 5 p.m., and we sometimes leave 20 to 30 minutes before then if we're not busy." Even though I told her my mom was absolutely going to be there to get the dress we had paid extra for to get in a timeframe that didn't even happen, she said it didn't matter that she was on her way. If they decided to leave early, she would have to come another day to pick up the dress. My mom ended up turning around and going back to work instead of wasting her time driving all that way to possibly not get what we paid for.

If you enjoy snobbiness and poor customer service, go to The Something Blue Shoppe. I encourage you, however, to save your time and money on something more worth it.

On June 5, 2014 at 6:15p.m. I, The Bride, went to the Something Blue Shoppe with one of my bridesmaids to have her fitted because my bridal consultant informed me that they would do a price match for a Bill Levkoff dress (489)which was $220 at Madison Town & Country because at the Something Blue Shoppe it was $235. I told the young lady that was assisting me that Madison Town & Country gave me a total price of $203.83(including tax) and I stated that they DO NOT charge for shipping. The dress was originally $220 with a 15% discount for purchasing 2 or more dresses then add 9% tax with free shipping equals $203.83. For the store manager TJ free shipping was an issue because he told me that I was wrong and that Madison Town & Country does charge for shipping. I stated to him that I specifically asked that question and the lady at Madison Town & Country said NO THEY DON'T CHARGE FOR SHIPPING. TJ, the store manager, could have politely stated okay let me verify that information in the morning and I'll contact you as soon as it is verified, but instead TJ yelled at me stating that I was wrong very loudly in front of associates and customers. TJ was very unprofessional, disrespectful, overly rude in tone and has lost my business as a customer for treating me this way. I WILL NOT BE TREATED THIS WAY AND THIS COMPANY EXPECTS ME TO STAY AS A CUSTOMER!!!! I, along with others should not have to spend our hard earned money in an entity that does not respect you nor show good customer service. I am disgusted at how I was treated and understand if no one speaks up for fear of losing their job. Jobs are hard to come by nowadays but in order to keep your business thriving you must treat others especially your customers with RESPECT!!!! I asked for the owners information and the young lady that was assisting me was very hesitant but I could tell she wanted to help. The store manager TJ yelled to her that the owner would not be back for 5-6 weeks. So I said okay I will call
