I can't say enough AMAZING things about Skyline Drive Orchestra. From the moment we met Mitch, we knew this was the band we had to hire. He's a salt of the earth kind of guy and straight shooter. The entire band was so incredibly professional, kind, and immensely talented. We hired them as a 7 piece band with two horns and they had people on the dance floor all night with a variety of hits throughout the decades. Everyone kept coming up to us all night asking how we found them. I love that they interacted with the audience and they truly kept the party going all night. Can't recommend them enough. If you're hesitating, just say yes :)

Highly Recommend!!

As soon as we booked our wedding venue, we knew we had to choose Skyline Drive Orchestra as our band! They played at my brother's wedding and blew us away! Mitch is professional, easy to work with, and enhanced our vision. The selection of music/songs that they are capable of performing exhibits the level of talent that they possess. Our friends and family couldn't get off the dance floor! I highly recommend Skyline Drive Orchestra - they helped make our special day even more perfect!

Extremely accommodating and amazing band!

We had them play at our wedding this past February and they were extremely easy to work with it, especially when it came to our religious accommodations. They were able to easily read the dance floor and adjust the mood of the music accordingly. My personal favorite experience in seeing the band preform is their own enjoyment of playing music. They gave us flexibility with certain unique things we wanted, including playing sheet music I had written for the first dance. Amazing energy and great band!

Amazing Band - Highly Recommend!

We couldn't have been happier with our decision to work with Skyline Drive Orchestra for our wedding! Leading up to the wedding, Mitch was extremely friendly, quick to answer all questions, and made us feel very confident that the day was going to be a great success. The music can make or break a wedding, and Skyline Drive Orchestra exceeded all expectations! They learned the songs we requested for our first dance and ceremony, and did a fantastic job! The guests at our wedding were on the dance floor all night long, and no one wanted to leave at the end of the night! The band was very high energy, and they played music that was fun for everyone to dance to. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful Wedding Band

Skyline Drive Orchestra was our band for our September 2022 wedding. We couldn't have more positive things to say about them! Coordinating details in advance with Mitch was super easy. The day of, they provided all the equipment needed including microphones for our ceremony. They were super accommodating with song requests and knocked our first dance song out of the park. The band was so high energy throughout the whole night - the whole wedding was dancing all night long. Throughout the night, so many guests kept telling my husband and I how wonderful and energetic our band was. At the end of the night, they would have kept playing if our venue didn't have a hard shut down time. Overall, 10/10 experience and highly recommend booking with them.

Beware- you will be on the dance floor ALL night!

Skyline Drive Orchestra was FANTASTIC! Mitch and his team had our guests dancing all night long. They were very accommodating to all of our requests and special dedications that we wanted. We even were able to meet Mitch and here him play prior to our wedding which was a nice added bonus. I know there can be some reservations with hiring a band versus a DJ, but Skyline Drive Orchestra will not disappoint!

Skyline Drive - just add dancing!

Our youngest daughter got married on September 10, 2022. The Skyline Drive Orchestra played at our older daughter's wedding eight years ago and brought the house down then. So naturally, we reached out to Mitch once again. He did not disappoint. The band was phenomenal! From the first song of the night until the party ended, the dance floor was full. The bride and groom chose a more obscure song for their first dance that the band had to learn, and they absolutely nailed it. The father daughter dance included an unusual mash-up of two very different songs, and they absolutely nailed it. Mitch was very easy going and brought the party. We chose this band twice - so obviously we recommend them wholeheartedly!

Energetic, professional and FUN!

Book this band! My fiancé and I booked Skyline Drive Orchestra for our July 3 wedding and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. Leading up to the wedding, we worked with Mitch to book the band and finalize the details. Mitch is a 'salt of the earth' type of person. He is kind, approachable and honest. His transparency immediately put me and my fiancé at ease, and his enthusiasm got us excited about the band and our big day!

When the day finally came, Skyline Drive Orchestra DELIVERED. Oh man did they deliver! To start, every person in that band is clearly an expert at their craft. The horns brought the energy and played off of one another - which was so much fun to see! The vocalists interacted with the audience and hit notes that literally caused a few dancers to stop and stare in awe. Everyone in the band brought an energy that kept guests out of their seats and on the dancefloor! It's already been a week since the wedding and I'm still getting texts from friends and family about how great the band was!

Skyline Drive Orchestra also expertly managed the flow of the evening. The band transitioned between energetic songs that got everyone on their feet and more relaxed, romantic tunes. They also filled the time between takes (e.g., dinner, dessert) with lovely background music for guests to enjoy. I truly can't thank them enough for such a wonderful evening! Seriously people, book this band.

Such a fun, talented band!

There is nothing like a live band! We hired Mitch and Skyline Drive Orchestra as an 11 piece band complete with a horn section. They played throughout our reception and kept people on the dance floor for literally the entire night (seriously- the floor was never empty). Their lead singers are outstanding and their horn section is something special! They have a great assortment of music that satisfies all ages of people. I am so glad to have had them at our wedding and I would book them again in a heartbeat!

Book this band!

Hiring Mitch and his team should be the easiest decision you make when planning your wedding! The whole process was so easy from start to finish and they were beyond accomodating. They learned any song we needed for our ceremony and reception and the execution was flawless. Our guests still cannot stop talking about how amazing our band was and asking, "Where did you find them!?" Trust me on this, BOOK THEM!

We can’t say enough about Skyline Drive Orchestra! Their energy and excitement coupled with the variety of songs kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. They knocked every song out of the park with their exceptional music and vocals. Mitch and the rest of the band went above and beyond to make our special day extraordinary- they even met our request and sang our wedding song perfectly in both French and English! Great energy, great music, great time!

We first met Skyline Drive Orchestra at my husband’s cousin’s wedding two years ago. That was my first time seeing a live band at a wedding, and what a different feel that was! After seeing them perform at that wedding, my now mother-in-law hired them for our wedding and of course we were thrilled!! On the day of our wedding, they were more amazing than I remembered. Our guests loved the diverse mix of music: current, oldies, everything in between. Even my grandmom (who says she hates weddings and all the fuss) loved the music and was on the dance floor!
Honestly, the music was SO good, it was so hard to leave the dance floor! We wanted to go around to each table to greet our guests but they were all on the dance floor! Everyone was up and dancing (and especially loved the sax). My now brother-in-law was Mr. Twinkle Toes, which is sooo uncharacteristic of him! It was great to see everyone have a great time, and all thanks to an amazing wedding soundtrack and fabulous singers!
The members of the band were great to work with all throughout the entire process. Mitchell was always quick to reply to my emails and answer my questions, and Doug was very attentive to us during the wedding, including asking us if the music was too loud during dinner (so thoughtful!)
Hands down would recommend Sky Line Drive Orchestra for anyone’s wedding. Great energy, great musicians, great singers, great time!!

Made the BEST choice!

We were SO happy with our decision to hire Mitch and the Skyline Drive Orchestra. From the very first phone call Mitch was upfront and no BS about how much it would cost. There was no nonsense (that we experienced with some of the big "entertainment companies") where they try to get you to say a number first so they can charge as much as possible. The price was the price, and we felt it was fair compared to some of these other costs that we saw from other bands.

We were able to see them perform before we made our decision and knew right away that we wanted to hire them. They have singers (of course) but a lot of their instrumental musicians also are talented singers which gives you a lot of variety in the vocals throughout the event. We hired two of their musicians for cocktail hour (piano & sax) and had twelve pieces for the reception.

Mitch always answered the phone and is super quick with email response. We asked (pretty late in the game to be honest) for the band to learn two new songs for our parent dances, and one for everyone to dance to and they nailed them.

There is NEVER a break in the music. Even while people are eating dinner etc the musicians take breaks in shifts so that there is always live music being performed.

The ENERGY they created on the dance floor was insane. They played a great mix of music from current popular stuff to rock to motown etc, so everyone got to dance. We are so so happy and all we heard over and over was how much fun people had and what a great band we hired.

Incredible; Beyond All Expectations

Hiring Skyline Drive Orchestra to play at our wedding on November 3rd, 2018 was probably the greatest decision that my wife and I have ever made together! Words cannot describe the energy that a live band will bring to your celebration, and this group is absolutely unmatched in their class. The breadth of their talent—the diverse range of vocals, exemplary instrumental capability, and sincere passion—allowed them to keep the party going all night long! Whether young or old, classic or contemporary in taste—every guest was enthralled and left with a lasting impression that this was some of the greatest musical entertainment they had ever experienced (and they continued to say so for weeks). Those who like to dance had to be herded away; those who don’t typically dance, got out there and did so anyway! In short—if you have a pulse, you will love this performance.

Planning a wedding can get stressful—after meeting Mitch and seeing the group’s sample, we knew that we would never have to worry about the music, and that was a great comfort. From the moment we walked into the cocktail hour to hear the piano serenade, through the final number and a full dance floor hours later, we were continually impressed by how much Skyline Drive Orchestra had exceeded our already high expectations. My only hope is that we will see them again at a wedding in the future—hire them for yours, it will be the most important vendor decision you make!

One of the most important things to us when planning our wedding was making sure we had an awesome band. When we first met with Mitch, he promised us a fun filled evening, with nonstop music, and he kept that promise and then some! From the ceremony music, to cocktail hour background music, to the dinner music, to the party music, everything just kept getting better! We had a few special songs we really wanted for our dances, and Mitch had us send YouTube videos, the band learned the songs, and they were perfect! Our guests were on their feet all night dancing, and everyone we talked to complimented us on our “playlist” (we only had 2 must play songs, so the band knew how to make a playlist that was a crowd pleaser). If we had to do it again, we would use this band over and over again! Thanks for a killer party!!

This band ROCKS. Many people told me that our wedding in early July was the best one they'd ever been to. I am absolutely certain that this was thanks to the band. We literally couldn't get people off the dance floor. At one point, I just looked over at my new husband and we both mouthed in utter amazement "JAZZ FLUTE?!?!" because the saxophonist also kills it on the flute. It was such an unforgettable party.

I also loved working with Mitch, he was just so nice and accommodating. We were out-of-state, so his willingness to meet with us at our venue helped a lot.

If you are on the edge about booking, get off!! Don't deprive yourself and your guests of The Skyline Drive Orchestra ;)

I just had Skyline Drive perform for my wedding, and they were amazing! We got countless compliments and they were really accommodating and paid great attention to detail. As a musician who works in the music industry, I was so happy with their performance, all of the musicians were very talented. They knew how to keep the party going and engage all of the guests, no matter the age group. Mitch was always available to talk and remembered every detail about our specific event. We also had one of their musicians play for our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was great! Live music was so much fun and the guests were so happy - I highly recommend Skyline Drive Orchestra to anyone looking to have an amazing night!

We couldn't be more thrilled. From our first conversation with Mitch Herzog, owner, to our last handshake with Doug, band leader, our experience was amazing. We hired their 10 piece orchestra for my daughter's wedding. Both she and her new husband are in the music business and her then fiance was quite nervous. Mitch came to our house to meet the happy couple and answered all their questions and allayed their concerns. In the end, we had 5 hours of continuous dance floor rocking music that kept everyone up and dancing the whole night!
DO NOT HESITATE TO HIRE THIS BAND! They make your party!!!

Mitch and his band are AMAZING!! The band is as strong vocally and they are instrumentally. As a nervous bride, Mitch worked with me over the last couple of months to put my mind at ease! I’m a Mother of the Bride…and this is the BEST BAND EVER!!! No joke, no kidding, no exaggeration. The BEST. Consider yourself most fortunate if you are able to hire them for your event. Skyline Drive Orchestra played at my daughter’s wedding last weekend, all eleven of them. They were phenomenal!!! We didn’t even consider a D.J. because we wanted our guests to have fun and be entertained. We felt like having a DJ is no different than listening to the radio…good music but not exceptional entertainment. Having a fabulous band is entertainment for your guests… There is no comparison... Half our crowd loved to dance, the other half we thought would at least enjoy the entertainment….well, they certainly did dance and seemed to love it, too. We were thrilled! These are extremely talented musicians. I hired them sight unseen immediately after viewing their website videos because I could tell they were good and was afraid they would book quickly for my daughter’s date. We were in awe of their sound, the way they transitioned from song to song, the way they read the crowd and just seemed to know what to play next. (When you hire a band this good, just let them run with it, they are pro’s!). Mitch was wonderful to work with; very easy going, polite, professional, thoughtful, and absolutely true to his word. Having been involved in planning and attending corporate events over many years, I’ve seen more than my share of bands, large and small, expensive and inexpensive. Believe me, this is the band you want to hire! This band has a great song list that is second to none, a sound that amazed everyone, the ability to learn a new songs in advance. We wanted an elegant (nothing cheesy) but fun party… and boy oh boy, did we get it. Every person in the room was on the dance floor for the last song. We simply could not have found a better band nor asked for anything more. Don’t give it another thought. Just hire them. It’ll be the best decision you make.

Before booking Skyline Drive for our September 2017 wedding, my then-fiance and I were uncertain whether or not we wanted to get a band or DJ. My wife wanted to get a DJ, but I finally managed to convince her that we should book Skyline Drive. We were a bit worried about our budget, but in retrospect, spending the extra money for a fantastic band was beyond worth it. We could not have been happier with their performance.

Skyline Drive was amazing at our wedding. They kept such a high energy level throughout the reception and everybody was talking about how great they were afterwards. When they played "Shout" (by The Isley Brothers) the entire dance floor was packed and everyone was singing along! I cannot express how much fun we had. These guys rock!

Mitch from Skyline Drive also provided us with a piano player for our ceremony, who was kind enough to come early and practice a song with the bridesmaid who was singing during the ceremony. They both sounded great! The band then brought her up to sing a few songs with them during the reception, which was awesome!

We were so happy with Skyline Drive and really hope we have the opportunity to see them perform again at another wedding!

I am the mother of the groom. We had very high expectations and Mitch and his Skyline Orchestra exceeded those expectations! Everyone was on the dance floor all night long. The band members seemed to be having as much fun performing as the guests did dancing to their music. The band was the highlight of our wedding. Countless guests approached us to tell us how incredible they all sounded and that it was the best part of our wedding. They were very punctual, setting up hours before they had to play.
I was originally concerned because I don't typically like a lot of attention on me but Mitch and the band were so accommodating and made the night so memorable. I was put at ease and the wedding flowed so naturally. The music even got me dancing which is not easy!! Thank you for making our wedding so fantastic! We still talk about that day and it always come back to the band!!

Mitch and the gang did a wonderful job for our wedding. Met with my wife and I numerous times to go over band members, song list, and reassure my wife of any concerns she had. Rates were very competitive with other bands and the value that Skyline Drive delivered to our wedding was immense.

Skyline Drive Orchestra played at my wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! The band and vocals were incredible and they had us dancing all night! The band did a great job of catering to our diverse audience of family and friends, with a perfect mix of songs and styles. Mitch was a pleasure to work with--the logistics were simple and the band was perfectly responsive to our song choice selections and guidelines. I highly, highly recommend this band.

This band is outstanding- do not look further! All I can say is THANK YOU to Mitch! Mitch, the owner of Skyline Drive Orchestra, was very flexible and accommodating throughout the whole planning process. Michael and I were so pleased with the entire night. They have been in the business for quite some time so needless to say, they know how to throw a great party! All of our guests kept commenting on how incredible our band was (which is important to a highly dancer-savy crowd!). Every moment I was in the room, I could not keep myself away from the dance floor! Each one of our 9 piece band players and singers had a vibrant energy that was contagious! Can not wait to see them perform again!

I can't even begin to say how good this band was. June 24, 2017, they played for my daughter's wedding. Unbelievable!!! 11 Piece Orchestra!! I have never heard a wedding band as good as this one & this is our 3rd daughter being married with 3 different bands! Just as good as Blood Sweat & Tears(Our favorite band) Horns were exceptional!!! Very professional, Crowd Pleasing, Easy to work with, Everyone is talking about the band!!! Wow!!! You need to book this band, It will make your wedding!!!!!

This band is great!! Our dance floor was packed from start to finish and guests are still telling us how great the band was! We wanted a lot of Motown and the band definitely delivered! Mitch was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. We always felt like we were in good hands. Would definitely recommend this band to everyone!!

This band played last night for our daughter's wedding. They knocked it out of the park and had everyone up all night. Mitch was accommodating and professional. You are in excellent hands with them. (I am a sax player myself and couldn't recommend them more highly)

If you are looking to have a band or even thinking about it, I would HIGHLY recommend the Skyline Drive Orchestra!! They were absolutely amazing at my wedding. Mitch was great to work with and made you feel like you were family. We have had so many of our guests tell us that they thought the music was one of the best parts of our wedding. We asked them to do a few personal touches for our wedding and they delivered and we could not have been happier. Mitch and the band had all of our guests dancing and that was exactly what we asked for!! You will not regret hiring the best band around, the Skyline Drive Orchestra!! BOOK THIS BAND!!! They did absolutely amazing at our wedding! The lead singer was singing amongst the crowd dancing and getting everyone to sing along with him! We were looking for a band that would complete our wedding and this was the band! We gave a little late notice to the band, requesting two newer songs but they still played the songs flawlessly and absolutely surprised us! They definitely set the vibe and atmosphere and we would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a band for their wedding, party, or any event!

I do not think I could say enough positive things about The Skyline Drive Orchestra. Mitch and his band were absolutely amazing! They played a wonderful mix of music and our guests were dancing all night long. Our friends and family are still raving about them. They were accommodating and listened to what we wanted for our wedding. Music is such an important part of a reception and they are absolutely the best decision anyone could make in guaranteeing your guests have a phenomenal time. We love them!!!! BOOK THIS BAND!! They were AMAZING! Our guests raved about how great the band was, playing hits from every decade to accommodate every guest's taste ! The dance floor was full the entire evening as we grooved to hit after hit. We had a 9-piece band and it looked and sounded amazing (though not completely deafening that you couldn't hold a conversation. The band followed the songs we requested and made sure that our first dance, mother/son dance, and father/daughter dance, were arranged perfectly. Once again, there is nothing like having a live band at the wedding and the Skyline Drive Orchestra is the way to go!

Mitch and the band were truly amazing! They played for my daughter’s wedding at the Metropolitan Room at the Newark Club. Mitch was extremely confident when he made his promises and assured us that the band would be fantastic. Not only did he deliver on every promise he made but he exceeded all expectations! The band was professional, loaded with talent and kept the dance floor full the entire night. Mitch was easy to work with and really removed any stress we could possibly have when it came to music for the celebration. If you are thinking of hiring a DJ stop and get the Sky Line Orchestra. It will be one of the best decisions you will make. It has been two weeks since the wedding and I am still getting messages from friends and family asking how did we find that amazing band? Let me put it this way. if you don't hire Skyline Drive Orchestra to play at your wedding, you're making a huge mistake. This band is amazing! My wife put me in charge of the music and since I come from a pretty musical family I was very particular about what I wanted. Whenever I spoke with Mitch he assured me his group could play what I was asking for. I probably was a pain, but I knew what I wanted and this band delivered. From jazz to Jay-Z they nailed every single song. My best man speech was a song and they played backup on the fly which was so cool. The singers were outstanding and smooth and funny when they saw something happening on the dance floor. The horn section was loud and really gave the band that extra *pop*. Mitch made sure there was always some music being played and they did the right stuff at the right time to keep everyone dancing. They knew my favorite song, Rapper's Delight, and gave me the mic to rap and afterwards my brother a bass for a solo. I've never seen a band go out of their way like that.

This band knows how to party. They know how to get people involved. They've forgotten more music than I'll ever know. And from start to finish, working with Mitch was a breeze and made sure everything we wanted and needed happened. Skyline Drive Orchesta is the reason everyone said my wedding was the best they've ever been to! BOOK THEM!!

Simply put: THESE GUYS MADE OUR WEDDING!!
We live in Memphis, so much of our wedding was done via phone and internet since we're so far from town. We got married at the Manor in West Orange, NJ (GREAT place) and spoke with Mitch from Skyline Drive Orchestra to set our band up. Mitch promised the day would be perfect, and boy did he over-deliver! WHAT A BAND! Our guests are still raving about how professional, fun and engaging they were! Other than our first dances, the band took care of everything else and the party flowed perfectly. They ended with "Don't Stop Believing" and wow what a way to close the party out. If you are looking for a band that will cover all generations, sound PERFECT, get the crowd going, and provide hours of continuous music throughout your reception, please go with Skyline Drive Orchestra. By the way, if you check out their website, you'll find sample videos-- this isn't just done for show- they truly are just as amazing as they sound.

What can I say, the Skyline drive orchestra is amazing, they far surpassed any expectation my husband and I had of a wedding band! From our entrance they knew exactly how to read the crowd and kept the energy going all night long. They learned our first song Rob Thomas Little Wonders, and played so beautifully, I started crying and told my husband right there while dancing "the band was so worth it". Mitch was so easy to work with from start to finish. We gave the band a few songs we wanted to hear but for the most part left it up to them for song selection, which I would recommend, much less stressful on your end. I especially liked how they organized the dances and time of speeches, they were able to break everything up in a way that guests never felt like they were sitting for too long. Our guests raved that our wedding was the best they've ever been to and I think it was in large part to the band. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a great time!

My new husband and I are SO thankful that we booked Skyline Drive Orchestra for our wedding! From the very first time I reached out, Mitch was super helpful and accommodating - I never had to worry about a thing! They kept the crowd engaged all night and really went out of their way to make sure that everyone was having a great time from start to finish! Skyline Drive Orchestra just played at my wedding this past weekend. We had their 8 piece band and a DJ through them. They also had one of their musicians playing at our ceremony which was great. The band was full of energy and awesome, the dance floor was packed the entire night. They also played at both of my sisters weddings in the past so I was hesitant at first, thinking maybe we should go with something different but they were amazing and I am glad they were a part of our wedding. From the amazing musicians and vocals to the high energy of their singers out on the dance floor with the crowd it was wonderful!
Mitch was very helpful the entire planning process and even listening to all my last minute requests and questions!

The 11 piece Skyline Drive Orchestra played at our wedding on Saturday night and brought the house down with their energy and enthusiasm. From the introductory song (when we invited everyone to join us dancing) until the last song of the evening, the dance floor was full. they played a wide variety from Sinatra to swing to classic rock to Motown to contemporary music. Our guests, without exception, told us this was the best band they had heard. They are phenomenal!

Mitch was easy to work with and responsive to our every request.

Skyline Drive Orchestra dazzled our wedding on May 31, 2014 in NYC. The band was high energy, professional, and so talented -- we've only received rave reviews, and all guests spoke about how Skyline Drive Orchestra made the party!

My parents met Mitch, the band leader, at a bridal event and gave me a DVD to review. The sound was incredible. Throughout the planning process, Mitch was so helpful, made recommendations, and was very responsive. We used Skyline Drive for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music (pianist), and then 9-piece band for the reception.

The musicians learned at least 3 new/special songs for our wedding -- and played continuous music throughout the reception. And the volume of the music was perfect (so often I've heard that wedding reception music can be too loud). The band played appropriate music during meal times (soothing/jazz-type music) and knew when to get the crowd dancing! In fact, all guests were on the dance floor only a few minutes into the reception.

Skyline Drive kept the party going all evening and showed an impressive and eclectic mix of music, which catered to guests of all ages and music preferences (I never gave any "set list" or genre, since I trusted Mitch, and it was perfect).

We cannot recommend this band more highly. Wish we could relive the evening's magic!

I could go on & on and tell you all about our search for a fantastic NYC-area wedding band and how amazing the Skyline Drive Orchestra is but that's too easy and frankly, a bit unnecessary as they are simply the best at what they do. Outside of a few specific songs we needed played, the only guidelines we gave the band were to keep the party on the dance-floor.....and that's exactly what they did, from start to finish - a year & half later, we STILL get comments from friends & family, that they've never danced so much and that our wedding was the most fun wedding they've ever been to!!
I would, however, like to share just how critical Mitch and the band were in preserving dream of the perfect NYC wedding, after dealing with a natural disaster. You see, we were supposed to be married on November 3rd, 2012, in Manhattan. However if you recall, a little storm named Hurricane Sandy decided to cause havoc for a lot of people that week. While we didn't experience the absolute chaos and misfortune that a lot of other East coasters did, we did have to postpone our wedding. What were we going to do - Bryant Park (venue) had no power and either did we in Hoboken? We had super sketchy cell phone service, so we couldn't even make phone calls, however texts were going through. After determining some available dates with the venue, one of the first texts I made was to Mitch & the band (who was dealing with his own post-storm aftermath and lack of power) and without hesitation, Mitch's response was "whatever it is, we'll figure it out!". 1 month later, we "figured it out" and had the most amazing wedding on 12-1-12!
I knew from the first phone call I had ever had with Mitch, that he was a great guy to work with. However after the storm, his willingness to make things work for us confirmed that he & the band are special people, in addition to some of the best singers & musicians I've ever seen! Do yourself a favor and stop looking for another band....you've landed on THE one!

When I got married in September of 2013, it was the 4th time our family has used Skyline Drive. They are consistent in their performances and would recommend them for any event you have. Mitch was very easy to work with and all of the songs and timing of everything throughout the event was perfect.

The Skyline Drive Orchestra was one of the highlights of our wedding day. Mitch was accessible and responsive leading up to the big day, and was always welcoming any questions that we had. We paid for two pieces to perform at our ceremony, two pieces to perform for our cocktail hour, and eight pieces for the reception. It is without hesitation that I say it was worth every penny. They played music from many different genres and eras that was continuous throughout the entire reception; there was truly something for everyone. Our guests of all ages were up and dancing for hours thanks to their fantastic band. The quality of the musicians were top notch. From the vocals to the instrumentals, the Skyline Drive Orchestra had as good a performance as I've ever heard at a wedding. Even at eight pieces in a room that was not terribly large, the music was not overpowering. They were professional, courteous, and I hope that I get to experience their shows many more times again soon. Thank you for giving us such a positive memory of our wedding day. Our guests are still raving about you to this very day!

The band was wonderfully talented, festive and friendly, and very adaptive to our needs. They were great at reading the crowd and getting the party going. The keyboardist/pianist, Tom, was amazing and played exactly the music we wanted for the ceremony, even though it was all new to him, and we got great feedback on his music during the cocktail hour (which we didn't hear).

Music is a big part of our lives. We travel to see concerts all year round. Music is what brought my husband and I together so when it came time to choose a band for our wedding, you better believe we spent the most time in search of our "perfect band"!! We looked high and low... then we stumbled onto Skyline Drive Orchestra. We knew right away this was our band.
I called Mitch right away, he was so friendly and professional, I knew it would be a perfect match. He knew exactly what we wanted and more.
They blew us away.. everyone was on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. I left it up to Mitch on what songs to play and he absolutely nailed it. Everyone is still talking about "our band" from our wedding... We can't say it enough. They are the BEST and very pleasant to work with!!! WE LOVE SKYLINE DRIVE ORCHESTRA!!!! Skyline Drive made our night into something extra special!! We, along with all of our guests, danced the night away!
The band gladly accommodated our wishes to add a little Cuban and African flare to the night. They played non-stop and we couldn't have been any happier!

We started looking for a band over a year before our son's wedding. From our first contact, Mitch stood out from the rest as he was so responsive and interested. We feel that he took a special interest in our event and it is rare to get that personal feeling from a vendor these days. The music at the wedding was beyond our expectations...the Madison Hotel ballroom was rocking and everyone was on the dance floor having so much fun! We knew that everyone was enjoying themselves, but the wedding video proves it! The band was respectful of all of our wishes and Mitch helped us pull it all off without a hitch!

We are beyond grateful for their amazing performance and services at our wedding. Their professionalism and quality is flawless and they really make you feel lucky to have found a band of their caliber for your special day. They day would not have been the same without them there. All of our guests have talked to us repeatedly about how wonderful and fun the band was. From Mitch hosting and being a phenomenal emcee all the way to song choices... it was impeccable and spot on. So many people were amazing at the continuous song play and no breaks. The talent of the entire band is enormous and so impressive. This band is AMAZING! Mitch is a pleasure to work with, and makes it real easy for you. You book him, you email him with virtually any question you have, he responds within minutes. Two weeks before, he calls to go over songs, and any formalities. We had prepared a list of songs to be played. There was a short miscommunication (My parents didn't like that they weren't playing from the list - i personally was having the time of my life and could care less and didn't even notice) That got remedied in 5 minutes flat, and they played EVERY SINGLE SONG on the list, even played songs twice that my mom missed because she was busy being the mother of the bride, just to keep her happy! The band is really great and is seriously 100% worth booking!

Our wedding was 9/19/15 at the Conservatory at the Madison Hotel.

We used Mitch and the Skyline Drive Orchestra for both our wedding in 2004 and my husband's 35th birthday party in 2014 and they were awesome on both occasions. Mitch is great to work with and the band is awesome. Great musicians and singers! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a band that will get everyone up and dancing!

The band was excellent! We had everyone of all ages dancing the entire night!! We would definitely recommend them to others.
