Overall, we had an AMAZING experience with The Sinclair!! Our planning process was easy. Plus, they were very flexible. On the day of the event, the venue made everything feel so classy/elegant. Beautiful Venue & Stellar Service
As an event planning company, I can tell you firsthand how important it is to have a dedicated vendor team to execute every event smoothly. There should be a common desire to serve each client with excellence as you work to create a stellar event experience. The team at The Sinclair did not disappoint. They went above and beyond to ensure a smooth event experience for my client’s wedding. From planning to execution, everything was top-notch! If you are in search of a venue that can provide upscale service in the Baltimore area, look no further. Plenty of space and room to create your desired vision and a fabulous food experience provided by The H3irloom Food Group. My clients are still raving over the menu created by Executive Chef David Thomas. Five Stars!!
Absolutely LOVE this venue! Had the pleasure of hosting an event there back in March and couldn't have chosen a better space. Easy and flexible load in/load out makes it a breeze for vendor setup and breakdown. Modern features, super spacious rooms and warm and welcoming staff. And the food from H3irloom is top tier! Our guests still can't get over how amazing it all was. Thank you guys so much for everything and we can't wait to return :)Absolutely LOVE this venue! Simply Amazing!
The Sinclair was everything! Working with the staff was my pleasure, they were very accommodating, and everything that they said they would do was done. Breathtakingly Beautiful
The level of care, love, and professionalism given to us for our vow renewal by the Sinclair and the Heirloom Group still leaves me speechless. Beautiful!
The outdoor ascetic does not do it justice! This venue was EVERYTHING for a great price. Not only do they offer an all inclusive package (food, beverage, chairs, cutlery, linen) but it also comes already partially decorated. The lobby of this place is stunning. Very modern with a fully decorated ceiling with flowers/chandeliers, and they change out the style of the lobby every few months. Though you can’t get a say in which style they go with they seem to keep the colors pretty neutral for any color scheme. They have 3 separate rooms to choose from with one being a lounge/ game area that has bored games and a basketball court (Our groomsmen were found here). Poor communication/ Does value Customers
Communication was initially great but once we toured the venue it became impossible to get in contact with the event coordinator, Tanya, to obtain our contract and secure our date. After over a week of emails and calls (Only to leave a message) we finally spoke with the catering coordinator and was promised a contract in about 30 minutes which we received about 7 hours later. We took the weekend to decided what we would do but ultimately, we decided to take our business elsewhere as we could not risk this trend creating us stress for the next year durning the planning process. We still have not received any follow up from The Sinclair (It's been 2 weeks now) and we are very disappointed with our experience. We are not sure if it is because we are a younger couple (25 years old) or something else, but we were prepared to spend over $20k on this venue and we were not treated as a valuable customer.
To The Sinclair: Our goal for our wedding was to support local black business in our hometown. We really wanted to have our wedding at your establishment as it is truly beautiful. Please keep in mind that every customer is valuable, and communication is key in any business but especially one where you are dealing with one of the biggest moments in life. Thank you.

Not only has this venue showed a lack of respect for my time but they have now attempted to call me a liar. Your lack of record keeping is not the customer's issue. I do not hold black owned business to a higher standard I hold them to thee standard. Hi, Miranda--
I'm sorry that you feel this way about your experience with us. After reviewing your account and communications with us, there is incorrect information regarding the timeline of what you're describing. Your mother, sister, and aunt came in for a tour on May 5th. We received your questions about our package on Friday, May 6th. Our weekends are very busy with weddings and events, so our coordinator wasn't able to get back to you with answers until Tuesday, May 10th. After Tanya answered your questions, we created a contract/proposal for you which was sent 48 hours later to which there was no deposit made or any further communication. Our practice is to wait 3-5 business days before following up on proposals to give couples time to review the it and make payment arrangements as necessary. We have no record of receiving any phone calls or emails from you since May 10th.
As a black business, we do everything we can to make our clients feel valued as we know that we are held to higher standards than other businesses. In the same breath, we still understand your concerns and want to validate them. In addition, we do not want our clients to feel that we are harassing them to make a big decision about one of the most important days in their lives, thus the reason for allowing breathing room to make that decision.
