Impressive Coordination at a Four-Day Luxury Wedding — Highly Recommended!
I had the pleasure of working with Lindsay and her team for a four-day Indian/Jewish wedding at Live! by Loews – Arlington, TX in Arlington, Texas. This was a high-end event and, as with any wedding, not everything went exactly to plan — yet Lindsay’s team handled everything in an impressive way. Their professionalism, responsiveness and ability to adapt made the experience seamless and truly elevated the day.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a planner who brings both grace and precision to every moment!-

Hire this group
Simply Elegant was the perfect fit for us. From planning the wedding 1.5 years ago, to the day of, our wedding coordinator Hailey (Chicago based) shined! Simply Elegant provided us the tools to plan our fairly large wedding in Chicago. Their Wedding Workbook are perfect tools for us to help with the day of. Our day of coordinator came in clutch day of the wedding - from continuously fluffing my cathedral veil prior to ceremony, to constantly making sure we were on timeline, and fast-pacing things at our reception when we were starting to get behind, to helping me change into my reception dress, to running to vendors to tip for me, 100% hire this group because they have the best team. Couples should 100% consider a day of coordinator who is there in your corner throughout the day. Fires were taken out without my knowledge, and I realized so many things she did on the back end to make sure I truly enjoyed my day with my husband! I re-live this day over and over again with family and I truly don't think I would have been 100% in the moment if it was't for our SEG coordinator, Hailey. -

Best Decision I Made
One of the first things I said to my husband when we got engaged was that, even though a planner isn’t technically a necessary expense for a wedding (as in, people manage weddings without hiring planners), that having a full-service planner was non-negotiable for me. I know myself well enough to know that nothing would have otherwise been done. I’m incredibly indecisive, I always want to see all the options, and I always want input – which does not work when you’re going online to look at the 5000+ photographers in Denver (and that’s just one vendor). So I knew I needed to find someone I could put my trust in to understand what I was looking for, show me a few options that would fit my desires and budget, and help me evaluate and choose one, as well as someone who would keep me on track in terms of time.
The Simply Elegant Group was wonderful to work with, and I truly don’t know how we would have gotten through our wedding without them. I actually had a bit of a rocky start, but they made it up to me and then some.
When I first started with SEG, I was assigned a planner who I wasn’t entirely happy with. She did help to some extent, but I felt like things weren’t moving as quickly as they should, etc. I was then told that she was leaving SEG and I would be assigned a new planner, which I felt okay with – I think she already had one foot out the door when we started working together. The next planner I was paired with seemed to be pretty good, but we had barely started when I found out that she, too, was leaving SEG. I was starting to become concerned and frustrated, but Lindsay got on a call with me and said that this was definitely not normal and they were pairing me with someone who they were sure wouldn’t leave – Ashley Carpenter (now Lytel).
This completely changed everything. Ashley was on top of everything from day one. She was with me every step of the way, calming me down when I was anxious, getting me back on track when I fell behind on my to-do lists, assuring me that everything would come together. She understood what I was saying and wanting, helped me communicate that to vendors, and answered my many, many, MANY questions (sometimes more than once, since I forgot!).
Then, of course, came COVID. Ashley supported us in all of our decisions to postpone and to alter what we were comfortable doing in the midst of a pandemic. She helped coordinate with everyone to find another date that worked, she reached out to learn about changes in policies at our venue along the way, and perhaps most importantly, she was a much-needed emotional support during all of this.
I cannot tell you how many people – vendors, wedding party, and guests alike – noted to me how wonderful Ashley was. On the day of the wedding, she was there whenever something was needed. There were a few small things that didn’t go as planned, but she was like my fairy godmother turning mice into beautiful white horses. How she managed to be in 10 places at once I will never know (as an avid Harry Potter fan, I’ll just pretend she had a time turner).
I would never have been able to pull off a day like ours without a planner. This became even more true in the COVID era. Ashely’s attention to detail, unwaveringly calm hand, emotional support and understanding, quick adaptiveness, and deep knowledge of weddings and event planning is probably the greatest gift I got for my wedding (secondary only to my husband, perhaps). -

The best planner we could ever have had!
Emily B was incredible to work with from start to finish! SEG hooked us up with a wonderful planner who executed my day to be beyond my wildest dreams. It was amazing! From putting out little fires to calming my nerves before the wedding, we are so glad we chose Simply Elegant for our wedding. Three cheers for Emily B! -

Best Decision Ever!
We worked with Erin with Simply Elegant and she was AMAZING! A backyard wedding was not our plan A. We had envisioned a more streamlined event at a venue full of helpful staff, but when covid forced us to pivot to a more DIY wedding at home, we were super stressed. While we still planned on having a day-of coordinator at our original venue wedding, it was even more essential for the at-home version. Erin and all of her hard work was the only reason we were able to pull it off and enjoy the day. She filled in all of the gaps and made sure every detail that I had planned was executed to perfection. Erin and her assistant basically took on the job of an entire event venue staff and did it seamlessly. She was in the background all day, holding everything together. I don't know how anyone gets married without a day-of coordinator. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard enough, give yourself the peace of mind that everything is handled by a professional. Easily worth the money! -

We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!
Planning a wedding isn't easy, but planning it during a COVID pandemic with rules that seem to change every day is REALLY not easy. We feel so grateful to have navigated the uncertain times with the planning support of Simply Elegant Group. From pulling (and re-pulling) quotes from multiple vendors to coordinating our rehearsal and wedding day, we're so happy with the experience we had with SEG and our planner Kristen. She was very decisive, clear, and strategic in all of our conversations, helping us stay focused on the task at hand so I never had to guess on what I needed work on that week or month. Our situation was unique in that we weren't able to plan most of our wedding until the last two months before our wedding date because of COVID, so seeing how fast the SEG team was able to move was super inspiring. They even helped us with little tweaks we made when we changed our vision to host a intimate wedding, like playing "DJ" with our ceremony songs on a Spotify playlist and recording a Facebook Live video so our family and friends could feel like they were there with us on the day. Our planner Kristen even sent me a video of our first dance since our videographer already left and she knew we'd want to relive that moment later. Everyone at SEG is incredibly thoughtful and proactive. We can't say enough great things about SEG, their preferred vendors, and everyone involved! We highly recommend them!!! -

Helpful, Supportive, Flexible! Hire Kalen!!
I booked Simply Elegant about a year out from my wedding for day of coordination and was provided with a planning document with checklists, organization tools, and ideas. After paying for all other vendors, I wondered if getting the planner was going to be worth it. When it came closer to my wedding, I was able to meet with my day of coordinator, Kalen, about the details and timeline. From that first meeting, I was impressed with Kalen's knowledge of weddings and her creative ideas for some of the details of the wedding. She came early on Friday to help set up the reception area, gave amazing suggestions on decorations, and stayed for the rehearsal. It was such a stress-reliever knowing that Kalen was informed on the timeline, chatted with the vendors to coordinate times, and that she knew the template of the ceremony. On Friday, I already knew that it was worth it to hire her! She was so supportive of me and in making my wedding what I wanted. Come Saturday, Kalen was one of the most impressive vendors that we hired. She handled every detail from my bridesmaids getting grass and lipstick stains on their dresses to plugging in background music when the band forgot during dinner. She cued the ceremony timing and updated me when needed. She asked me throughout the day if I needed anything and was always a friendly face to see on our special day. We were so blessed with her!! I suggest you ask for Kalen for your special day as well. You will not regret it! -

Great experience with Ali from SEG!
We can't recommend SEG enough! Ali was our coordinator and she was simply phenomenal. She's incredibly responsive, unfailingly organized, and so easy to get along with! Our favorite part about SEG was the google spreadsheet they send over in the beginning to help get ideas down and organize thoughts. I'm talking like a 12-tab spreadsheet covering everything you need to think about as you plan. It was unbelievably helpful. In the months leading up to the wedding, we had several phone calls with her to go over the content in the document and get on the same page about all the little details. On the day-of, Ali and her assistant did a fantastic job making sure everything was going as planned so that we were free to chat with guests and enjoy the day as much as possible! -

Absolutley the best!
I cannot rave about this company enough! We went with the Day of Plus package (which is AMAZING, loved the flex hours to allot where you want). Brianna was my lead planner and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. From the first phone call, she and I clicked and I knew she would be the one to ensure my wedding was perfect- and she exceeded my expectations. She was there whenever I needed her. Whether it was to ask random silly questions that were stressing me, going to do walk throughs, deciding on decor, or my rehearsal- she was there with a smile on her face! She ensured we touched on EVERY little detail numerous times, and I felt 110% comfortable turning it all over to her the week of the wedding.
My fiancé was a little hesitant about hiring a wedding planner but he even had amazing things to say. I believe his quote was “10/10 would recommend Bri. She did an amazing job, and was worth every penny.” He even went as far to say “if I ever have to get married again, I’ll be calling her,” (haha) which of course is a joke but really proves how grateful he was for her.
Overall, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. I cannot thank Bri enough for everything she did. From helping me plan the perfect wedding, ensuring that everything was flawless the day of, and listening to me panic over little things- she did it all, and I came away from this whole experience with a friend. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you again!

From the Nitty Gritty Details to Sewing a Button Back on My Wedding Dress
We worked with Margaret for our December 2018 wedding and she was always organized and as cool as a cucumber. The value Margaret provided and the touch base meetings we had to solidify all the details of the day was far above any other competitor day-of coordinator offerings we saw. Simply Elegant Group offers many great organizational tools to make sure you don’t miss any details as you’re planning. On the day of my wedding, I put my dress on a button popped off the back. I didn’t even have time to stress because Margaret and her assistant Danielle were already at the door of our suite in the hotel from overseeing the set up to sew the button back on my dress! Luckily that button stayed on and I didn’t pop any others off. The button was the only mishap (that we noticed!) and Margaret made the day go smoothly and helped us keep the flow going as we were talking with family and friends. Margaret helped us put in the work ahead of time to plan the wedding so we could be hands off and enjoy the day and be present while she managed all the details. Thank you, Margaret!! -

The perfect day
SEG was absolutely incredible. We worked with Gina throughout the entire process and could not have asked for anything more. She was always responsive, incredibly helpful, and just an all-around amazing wedding planner and person. I was a pretty indecisive bride, and she had no problem giving me her honest opinion about everything from decor to order of events. She was also always willing to help with anything I asked, from calling vendors to working with my father-in-law to help him plan a brunch to attending every meeting. Gina was also perfect for the actual wedding day. She brought things to the venue, organized people for pictures, and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. I know our wedding day would not have been so perfect if it wasn't for her. If you're looking for a planner who is truly passionate and puts all they have into their work, then Gina is 100% the planner you want to have. I'll forever be grateful to her and SEG for the best day of our lives!! -

I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about the Simply Elegant Group and my day of coordinator, Ashley Carpenter. I could not have gotten through my wedding without her. I booked her for day of coordination about eight months out from my wedding, but she began "officially" working on timeline and planning about two months out from the wedding. Before those two months however, Ashley sent us recommendations and answered logistics questions for us at no extra charge. Throughout the entire process, Ashley was on top of my questions, always quick to respond, and found an answer if she did not know it right away. She calmed me down when I was acting crazy and reassured me that things would work out. I am not super organized and would never have been able to have detailed a timeline for our day like she did. She had things planned at some points in the evening down to 5-minute segments. She constantly asked my opinion when it was warranted and when I did not know how to proceed, she explained the options and gave recommendations. She communicated and coordinated with all our vendors so that I didn't have to deal with that in the weeks leading up to the big day. On the day of, I did not have to deal with any problems - she made sure we were on time, she grabbed things we forgot, she was our point person for any issues and trust me, things will go wrong! A guest at my wedding fainted during cocktail hour and I didn't even know it was happening because of how amazing Ashley was at handling it. My bustle was also impossible to work out and while I was on the verge of a meltdown, Ashley reassured me that it would be solved and of course, she fixed it. She was the BEST money I spent and I would absolutely recommend this company, but specifically Ashley, to any bride - REGARDLESS of how much of a planner you think you are. Ashley will think of things that did not cross your mind. I love love love Ashley and am so glad I was able to work with her. My day ended up perfect!! -

My husband and I got engaged in April of 2017, and married on September 2nd, 2018. One of the first decisions we made was to use The Simply Elegant Group to help us plan our wedding, as we are currently living in Texas, but had our ceremony up in Minneapolis. We have heard from so many of our guests that our day was absolutely beautiful, and none of it would have been possible without Morgan! She made the whole process a total breeze. We had a pretty minimal vision for what we wanted the day to look like, and she took that and ran with it, and made everything stunning. She kept us on track, guided us to vendors that would fit our style & price range, and was seriously available for questions or concerns every single day. Morgan helped us plan for things that we didn't even consider and was truly a friend through the engagement. It's been two weeks since the wedding and my mom & I still talk about how the whole day wouldn't have happened without Morgan. She kept us calm throughout the planning process, and on the day-of, was our go-to person for anything we needed. Our day was perfect, and it really was all thanks to Morgan. -

I went looking for wedding planning services that were reasonably priced. But what I got was Morgan!!!! The most amazing special, friendly, kind, experienced, fantastic coordinator a bride could hope to get. We both experienced some BIG life changes in the months we worked together and I felt like we became buddies. I was lucky to have her by my side for the entire experience. Since I had never gotten married before and I hope to never do it again I needed someone with wedding experience. I needed guidance and reassurance and HELP, so much help. And Morgan was there for me for ALL of it. She helped me with recommendations for all my vendors, which helped relieve the worry that I was being taken advantage of, or that they wouldn't work out. Morgan made the months leading up to the wedding fun and exciting, not stressful. But nothing can compare to her presence the day of my wedding. She was so calming and on the ball. Morgan and the Simply Elegant Team made the entire circus run like a well-oiled machine. Anytime I thought something might possibly come up, like a fly swatter Morgan was there. And problems vanquished before her. Another amazing thing she did was help our first time wedding DJ. Morgan called him, talked with him, and worked with him all day. It made it so much easier on him. Morgan worked so smoothly with ALL of our vendors that the whole day happened effortlessly (For me ;) ) I can't thank her or Simply Elegant enough for everything they did to make my special day...well... special!

Lindsay Mackey from Simply Elegant Group is simply the best. We were looking for a "day of" planner for our daughter's wedding so that we could enjoy the day and not be worried about the many details. Lindsay was absolutely outstanding! Lindsay was available for weeks before the wedding to answer any questions and walk us through the entire day. On the day of the wedding Lindsay showed up smiling, calm and happy with a detailed itinerary in hand which she made sure was executed perfectly. There are so many details you just don't think of, from getting the flowers to the correct people, getting the bridal party organized and on and off the trolley for pictures , making sure the reception space was as it should be , to providing the band with times for announcements and the first dances to so much more. Lindsay did it all and we were able to enjoy our daughter's wedding stress free because we knew Lindsay had it all handled. I have and will continue to strongly recommend Simply Elegant Group and Lindsay Mackey. Trust me, its money well spent! -

Our planner, Sam Hudson, was insanely incredible. In so many ways we don't at all know what we would have done without her. SEG does an incredible job of providing structure, templates, ideas, checklists and all the support you need to make planning the biggest event of your life feel effortless. More importantly than the discounts, references, constant support and KICK ASS day of leadership - SEG seems to have a thing for hiring high caliber individuals who understand how to walk with you through the crazy process of wedding planning with confidence, ease and grace. We couldn't have pulled this off without them and can't say enough about how awesome Sam Hudson is!!! -

Hiring Simply Elegant for our Chicago wedding this past August was the best decision we made! We planned much of the wedding ourselves to cut down on costs but wanted someone to be there in the weeks leading up to it and on the day of to manage the event. We thought this would reduce our stress and we were right. We worked with Lindsay Mackey and she was amazing! She met with us beforehand to go over our timeline, vendors, and other details. She provided important insight and fun ideas. On the day of she made sure everything went smoothly and it certainly did. She did things we never would have thought of like coordinating our rehearsal, suggesting we hire a second photographer, running out and buying a last minute polaroid, and securing a key spot for taking beautiful photographs. She set up our donut tower and made sure everything was in place prior to the event. We were so happy we made this decision because it was an absolutely perfect day largely thanks to Lindsay and Simply Elegant. Worth every penny and we highly recommend! -

We absolutely loved working with SEG and are so thankful to have worked with our planner Gina! We went with the day-of package and still felt that we still had amazing service many months before our actual wedding. We were able to use many of their great preferred vendors (caterer, florals/décor, transportation). All the vendors we went with were so happy we had a planner with SEG, which speaks to SEG's service, professionalism and reputation. Also, we ended up saving more money from the SEG's preferred vendor discounts than the actual cost to hire them - definitely a big reason we were able to afford having a wedding planner in the first place! Gina was fantastic and we are so thankful to have had her as our planner. We felt that our wedding day was absolutely amazing and all of our ideas/details were executed perfectly - and know that it wouldn't have gone so smoothly if we didn't have Gina to manage everything! Leading up to the wedding, Gina was there for us, checking in regularly, following up with vendors, and making sure our timeline was perfectly planned (really the timeline was followed perfectly on the day of!). We know there were some small bumps leading up to the day, and probably some the day of, but they were barely noticeable thanks to Gina. Specifically, several of our guests had to cancel last minute due to Hurricane Harvey - we were pretty stressed out about it, but Gina was there to help us plan for the changes and communicate with our caterer on our behalf. We had a lot of little details planned throughout our wedding day, and Gina was so attentive and made sure that all the decorations, details, and even dances were set out perfectly. All of her hard work making our vision come true really allowed us to focus on enjoying ourselves with our family and friends, and celebrating our wedding without worrying about any wedding day logistics. We really couldn't have imagined our wedding day happening without her and SEG! -

I went into my wedding planning with a pretty good idea of what I wanted but zero idea how to get there. Taylor from Simply Elegant was able to take my vision to a whole new level, and better yet, realistically. Looking at boards and boards on Pinterest I think it's pretty easy to get lost in fantasy land of what your big day could be. Taylor did a fabulous job of taking my vision and my budget and turning it into a reality. If something was outside of my budget Taylor would immediately let me know and give me options and ideas that were within my budget that still fit my vision. She is great with finding areas of give and take within a budget. She also has impeccable organization skills. I cannot even begin to say how helpful this was. There are SO many small details within a wedding as and she certainly doesn't miss a beat. When it comes to negotiations with vendors Taylor and the Simply Elegant Group have already saved us thousands of dollars - always a plus when you're already spending so much for one day. I'm was one of the last of my friends to get married and up to this point every single one of them has HATED planning their weddings. They were stressed out, felt like they didn't know what they were doing and it definitely impeded on the special time of just being engaged (don't get me wrong their weddings turned out beautiful and perfect, but the planning process was not!). I didn't want that at all - I wanted to enjoy my time with my fiance, and I wanted to look back on this engagement and be able to smile and think about how much fun it was... that's why I went with Taylor. I initially spoke with 3 other wedding planners; Taylor was by far the best fit for me personally; it was a gut feeling. When I met with the first 3 planners, I liked them, they were good, they had great references and I knew they'd be able to do the job; however, when I met Taylor I just knew she was the perfect fit. We debated on a day of coordinator for a while and we have to say it was well worth it!! We were given a few recommendations and Simply Elegant was the most responsive from the beginning. We decided to partner with them and they were fantastic through the whole wedding process. Megan was our contact and we cannot rave about her enough. She ensured our vision came together the day of and was just fantastic- calm, collected and a great advocate for the wants of the bride and groom. She kept my parents in the loop but they truly were able to just enjoy the wedding day which they were so appreciative of. She was great the day of keeping up with the other vendors needs etc. We were so impressed through the whole process- we met with Megan multiple times and she handled all the opinions with ease and presented great solutions. Their spreadsheet is a godsend to keeping you organized and keeping you on task. We walked away realizing we couldn't have done it with out her and the resources Simply Elegant presented. I ended up hiring Simply Elegant last minute for day-of services. I was having a destination wedding in Jamaica. The resort wedding planners were helpful when it came to selecting a location, band, dinner, flowers, etc. but less helpful with the details of the day and timeline. Lindsay Mackey helped us put together a timeline for the day, ceremony and reception. Also, the resort didn't do much for a wedding rehearsal so Lindsay managed this (which was a feat with my family). I was so happy that she insisted that we do a quick run through instead of just skipping it. Lindsay helped make sure everything was on track the day of and for a destination wedding this is not an easy task. Island time is real! When planning the details with the resort, photography was a challenge. I knew that I wanted amazing photos and wasn't getting warm and fuzzy feelings from the resort photographer. One night when Lindsay was helping me with the timeline (about 2 weeks before the wedding) I mentioned my concerns and she said she would reach out to some of her Chicago photographers to see if one was free and would be willing to travel last minute for us. I have no idea how she did it, but she found Adam Novak (http://www.adamnovak.com/) and worked out a great price in a matter of a few days.. The photos were beautiful - Lindsay & Adam were godsends!!! Can't say enough great things about these two gifted people, whom turned my vision of an epic Jamaican beach wedding into an event our friends and family are still gushing about. -

We consider ourselves pretty competent, detail-oriented people, but hiring a day-of coordinator was a MUST for our wedding. Ashley at the Simply Elegant Group (Chicago) was absolutely perfect. She stepped in about 2 months before the wedding to wrangle our dozen or so vendors and ensure that everyone was on the same page, and the same timeline. She was a total pro and put our minds at ease leading up to the day-of and on the wedding day. She allowed us to be chill and just enjoy it all. She also has a lot of experience doing Indian weddings (we had a fusion Indian-Western wedding) and impressed my husband's parents with her knowledge of the culture and tradition. Ashley is worth her weight in gold. -

We hired Lindsay the week of and WOW are we glad we did. I'm not sure what I was thinking not having a day of coordinator. I thought I could do it all then as I met with the manager of my venue and had final meetings with vendors I quickly realized I did not want to be the go to person. I also did not want any of my family members to be that person because I wanted them to enjoy the day as well. From the second Lindsay came into the picture I felt relaxed and way more comfortable with how the flow of the day would go. She is professional, honest, funny, high energy and everything else you'd want in the person there to make your day perfect. She instantly had a vision for my day and made it better than I could have ever pictured. Do yourself a favor and hire Lindsay. This is the best decision we made for our wedding! -

I can only give five stars, but my recommendation for this company and for our planner Emily is higher than any other service/ vendor I have ever worked with in my entire life.
I'll start with the decision to hire a planner. Many people think having a planner is only for those with big budgets, but that is truly not the case. SEG has negotiated vendor discounts with the best vendors all over the state, and my husband and I agree that having an SEG planner paid for itself in vendor discounts alone.
We were paired with Emily as our Day- of Plus coordinator, and fair warning, the rest of this review is basically a love letter to her. We met with Emily several times leading up to the big day, and she helped us find vendors that were truly perfect for us. Emily built us a "dream team" for our wedding.
On the day of the wedding itself, my entire family learned why we loved Emily so much, and they all can't stop talking about how incredible she was. I didn't see much of her while we were doing hair and makeup, but I quickly realized that she was running around the venue making everything perfect for when we were done. Seriously, this woman is like the fairy Godmother from Cinderella- she took my vision for our wedding and just made it happen. I did not worry about a single thing on our wedding day- everything just came together while I was enjoying time with my bridesmaids. My family now worships the ground she walks on too- various people brought questions to Emily throughout the day and she just solved everything without a second thought. She even drove back to our hotel during the reception to look for something that my mom asked for. Emily was truly amazing. She made our day beautiful and totally stress- free. She found us the best vendors and executed our vision perfectly, and she made real- life magic happen on the day of our event. Thank you Emily and SEG for the best day of our lives!

I live in Kansas City yet decided to have my wedding in Chicago, where I grew up. I was worried about planning a wedding from out-of-town, especially since Chicago has such a huge wedding industry. I looked into hiring a planner, but I couldn't make a full wedding planner work with my budget. I was so lucky to find Elisa at Simply Elegant, who was able to provide me the help I needed. For a fee, she provided me a list of venues that could work with my budget and a list of her top 3-5 vendors in several areas, based on both my budget and what she knew about my vision for my wedding. I booked the venue she recommended and several of the vendors she recommended and could not be happier with how my wedding turned out. I had a wonderful time and planning wasn't too stressful --- I give a lot of that credit to Elisa. She's so knowledgeable about the wedding industry in Chicago, and I am so happy I could benefit from her knowledge. I'd highly recommend her services to any bride that wants a little extra help picking the best professionals for their wedding. -

If you have it in your budget - definitely hire a day-of coordinator. The Simply Elegant was with my fiance and I every step of the way with the planning, and we were planning our wedding from afar. We got engaged while living in Toronto and started planning from there. We moved to NYC and spent the rest of our planning time in NYC and had our wedding in Chicago. The coordinators there are meticulous, detailed, and extremely well organized. You should go with Simply Elegant if you're looking for a hands on team that will execute everything as if you were the one running your own show. I had so much confidence in my coordinator and was extremely happy with her performance from day 1. -

Simply Elegant was one of the best choices we made! I can't even imagine the wedding process or the day without them. Nadia is AMAZING! The expertise, energy and guidance from her during each step of the wedding planning process made our big day one that we will never forget. She helped us stay on track and organized. We still cannot believe how fun and easy everything was with them. There was little to no stress in the whole process! With Nadia and her wonderful team there on the big day everything was perfect, beautiful and stress free. They took care of everything and all the behind the scenes situations and decisions. We had a wonderful experience working with Simply Elegant for our September 2016 wedding at the Rookery in downtown Chicago. Initially we worked with Lindsay, who helped answer all of our questions, and then we were assigned our planner, Gina. Gina was a true pleasure to work with, she was so organized, kept us on track with our vendors, helped us organize our ceremony and reception time-lines, and provided multiple vendor recommendations which all turned out great. A day before the wedding, Gina had an emergency and was not able to be at our wedding, but Simply Elegant made sure that everything went off without a hitch. Lindsay called us immediately to let us know the back-up plan, and then she attended our rehearsal while they flew in Kerry from the Minneapolis branch, who took over for Gina for the wedding day. My husband and I were not aware of any issues on the wedding day, which was a true testament to how organized and professional the Simply Elegant team are. Our main concern before booking a planner was having a proper/reliable back-up plan, because life happens, and we were so glad we went with Simply Elegant because of that. Even if there were any problems/hiccups, we were able to enjoy the day and not worry, and it all turned out better than we could have hoped! The strongest recommendation I have for any bride is to hire a wedding coordinator, and hire one from The Simply Elegant Group! We had the honor and pleasure of working with Jamie Diplaris. From the very first meeting we were absolutely confident that she would make our wedding planning process so much better. She is so kind, easy to work with, and always responded to any texts, calls or emails very promptly. I am very crafty, so I was able to do a lot of the DIY things for the wedding, but my organizational skills for big events aren't as strong. Jamie was always quick to step in to make calls, set up meetings with vendors, make specific recommendations based on us as a couple, keep contracts organized, offer advice and guidance, and step in to advocate for us with vendors. We saved money by using her preferred vendors, and we were overwhelmingly happy with her recommendations! Having Jamie as our planner gave me complete peace throughout the entire process before, during, and following the wedding day. (And trust me, peace of mind can be hard to come by as the bride!). The day of, Jamie executed in perfect detail my vision for the venue. She is someone always willing to go above and beyond and a truly gifted person. -

I don't even know where to start. Working with Simply Elegant was truly a lifesaver! I worked with Emily for a day-of coordinator. Being a Type-A perfectionist, I knew I needed someone even more organized and experienced with weddings so I could truly relax on my wedding day. Emily provided a complete list of "to-do's" early in the planning process that I was able to follow and get all the planning done. We met a few times to make sure I had everything covered and discuss details. Then on the wedding week, Emily took over EVERYTHING! She called all the vendors, made sure everyone had the timeline and completely set up our entire venue to make it look perfect with the help of her assistant. I was able to relax and truly enjoy the day knowing Emily was there to take care of it all. If there is only one thing I can recommend to any bride, it would be to work with a coordinator, especially Simply Elegant. I could not be happier with their services. -

Words cannot express how wonderful it was to work with Kerry Hollenback from Simply Elegant (Minneapolis location) for our daughter's wedding in June. Having an outdoor wedding at our home was a decision that had created stress in terms of how to pull it off with making sure that all details & contigencies were in place. Although we had debated on whether to hire a "day of" wedding planner, it was absolutely the BEST decision we could have possibly made. Kerry Hollenback was such a delight and communicated with us from the day we signed our contract. Even though we live in outstate MN, she made 2 trips to our home prior to the wedding & was available by phone & email frequently. She made us feel we were the only clients. Kerry was able to answer questions, provide guidance based on her experience with over 700 weddings, mediate differences of opinion (very tactfully), contact vendors, anticipate concerns, & recommend practical & affordable ideas. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant were amazing in taking care of details that one cannot possibly know need to be done. With an outdoor wedding, weather was a concern & a storm went through just at the time of the scheduled ceremony. We had been watching radar & knew of its impending approach. Kerry was calm and explained that she had a plan. While the wedding party was gathered in our home, Kerry directed guests to the reception tent while the storm passed. Guests were able to have a drink & socialize. When the rain was through, Kerry, her assistant, & ushers wiped down the ceremony chairs - then, moved guests to the ceremony location facing the lake. Kerry & her assistant had set tables, placed signage, directed the reception schedule, & a myriad of details behind the scene. Deciding to have Simply Elegant for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. Kerry handled details & execution on the day of the wedding that we couldn't have anticipated. Her level of professionalism was extraordinary. -

Day of coordinator = best wedding decision, ever!
My recent wedding was absolutely amazing due in huge part to Emily and her assistants’ help! I received nonstop compliments from family, friends and our caterer about how smoothly everything went, and how extremely well Emily was at working with all the various friends/families and vendors. Her kind and fun personality (and organizational skills!) also put me at ease. On the wedding day the groom and I were simply able to focus on enjoying family and friends. I'd recommend that anyone have a day-of coordinator, and this is a great company! -

I worked with Emily and her assistant Caitlin. I'm so glad I went with Simply Elegant. It was money well worth spent that we were originally hesitant about. If I didn't have them for my wedding I know I wouldn't have had as great of a wedding as I did. They were like a little army the day of during the day. Always busy, and we received so many compliments on them from the wedding party and family. Emily gave me great advice leading up to the day and Simply Elegant steered me towards some great vendors I used (Warpaint, On Solid Ground Rentals, Nothing Bundt Cakes). The money we saved from using SImply Elegant made it actually much more affordable to have them. I can't say enough how happy I was to go with this company and how big of a part they made our wedding a success. One of the reasons I choose SEG over other planners was that they are amazing at getting back to you right away. They are also competitively priced and are extremely responsive and helpful from the moment you meet them. And then they assigned me to Gina, which was just perfect.
Gina really understood my vision. We immediately hit it off and gave me tons of advice for my own planning. She was my "day of" coordinator, so I did all the pre-planning. But when we had our final timeline meeting, she was extremely thorough and helped me figure out the loose ends or gaps in my planning. This was terribly necessary!! After a day of getting ready on my wedding day, we arrived to the venue with everything set up perfectly!! I still felt in control of my wedding, but knew I had someone I trusted to look after all my hard worked details. While I had to reorganize a few things and made a few mistakes during the day (nothing major!), Gina took control of most everything and made it all a breeze. She even organized guests to look away while my bridesmaids ran me to the bathroom before the ceremony :)
I am so glad I choose SEG and Gina to help me with my wedding. It was the most spectacular day of life and I will never forget it! Thanks, Gina - you rule :) -

She never made me feel like I was being over the top or ridiculous- she executed every vision I had perfectly. One of the best pieces of advice I received throughout our wedding planning process was to hire a Day-of Wedding Coordinator. Being a pretty decisive and organized person, I didn't need much help with planning our wedding (May 21, 2016), but as the big day approached there were SO many overwhelming details that I have never been so grateful for the decision to hire The Simply Elegant Group (Chicago location).
I had the pleasure of working with Lindsay Mackey. From our initial meeting, it was clear she knew what she was doing - she was so friendly and knowledgable. About a month before our wedding (right when the craziness started setting in) she became very involved and helpful. We had a couple meetings (in person and phone) and she was super flexible to work around my schedule. We talked through all the details. Some very important things that I wouldn't have never thought of or remembered. The timeline and documents we created together left no detail untouched and was a great reference tool for myself and my vendors.
On the wedding day, Lindsay and her assistants did so much behind the scenes work; answering calls, working with the vendors, directing guests, picking up and dropping off various items, setting up personal items for the ceremony and reception, and dealing with any mishaps that may have occurred (which I would have no clue if anything did go wrong!).
Our wedding day went SO perfectly and smoothly. My husband, myself, and our parents truly enjoyed the day without a single worry or interruption, and I have Simply Elegant to thank for that! Do not plan your wedding without them! -

Ashley Carpenter with the Chicago office of the Simply Elegant Group provided Day of Coordination for my May 2016 wedding. She was absolutely incredible to work with - and there is no way we could have done it without her. She arrived at our very first meeting completely organized with spreadsheets and timelines and vendor tracking. She gave me complete peace of mind leading up to the event, because I knew that she wouldn't let anything slip through the cracks. On the day of she kept everything running smoothly, but also kept everyone calm and was able to handle anything that came up and modified the schedule on the fly instead of rushing to try and stick with the original plan. Long story short - she was amazing and I can't thank her enough for helping to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! -

We choose Simply Elegant for my daughter's big day mostly based on the reviews we read. We had Ashley for our personal planner. I could go on and on about the professionalism, skill and care that Ashley displayed, but it is better said with one word: Amazing!!!! Not only did she do everything and then some to the utmost, she did it all with grace and charm. We owe her a multitude of thanks for making everything run so smoothly and efficiently (no small task for 200 guests) and I believe we have also gained a friend! Working with Simply Elegant, and specifically Elisa from Chicago was the most incredible experience. My Fiancé Paul and I were blown away by the level of efficiency, dedication, support, and care that Elisa put into every detail of our wedding day! My Father who dislikes weddings, and is never impressed by anything, couldn't believe how amazing the wedding went. Elisa made Paul and I look like stars. Our guests are still talking about how our wedding was the most beautiful, seamless and fun wedding they have ever attended. Our dreams came true to thanks to Simply Elegant and Elisa! Not to sound too corny, but it was magical. Each of my girlfriends said that they wished they had had an Elisa when planning their own weddings. Caitlin is by far one of the best wedding planners I have worked with in my 5 years in this industry. As a catering sales manager I always recommend that my clients have (at a minimum) a day of coordinator and she validated that for me at a recent wedding we worked together.
Everything from her organization in the planning to her calm presence day of was appreciated and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

When I found out I had a two hour load in at my wedding venue I knew I needed to search for help in pulling everything off as I couldn't be two places as once. I interviewed three different wedding planners before meeting Ashely and after our first meeting I knew she was the one for me.
Her passion for what she does, knowledge and willingness to help in anyway she could gave me the confidence in entrusting her with pulling off the BIG day!!
Ashely was a great resource leading up to the wedding and answered every single email almost immediately. We had a few meetings before the wedding and once the day came I had no worries that Ashely would take care of everything and if any crisis or mishap occurred she would take care of it and I wouldn't be the wiser.
She was absolutely amazing to work with and incredibly organized and pulled everything off while I got to enjoy my day. -

Hiring Caitlin Wolff was one of the best decisions I made early on in my planning process. My wedding day was truly the most magical, beautiful day of my life and that in no way would have been possible without Caitlin's help. I feel so lucky to have found her and would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding- she is a sincere, capable, trustworthy and professional individual and she truly cares about her clients.
I worked with her to plan my wedding of 140 people in about 3 months so I purchased more of a full service package as I was also planning from out of town and needed the extra help. I was so completely overwhelmed when I started out in the process and she helped me tackle each piece of the puzzle and made it come together flawlessly on the day of. She gave me "homework assignments" (I requested them) to keep me on task and make sure things got done... we worked really well together. Whenever I was home, we'd meet up, go to vendor meetings, work out details. When I was out of state, we'd stay in touch mostly via email- she was always super quick to respond back with answers to my questions, help calm my nerves, or with suggestions. I had a LOT of questions and planning a wedding is way more involved than I could have ever imagined.
On the day of, my vision for the day was executed flawlessly! There are some things you can't plan for, though, which makes hiring a planner (or at the very least, a day-of coordinator) even more necessary. At one point o one of my guests got out of hand in the parking lot, but I never found out about anything until Caitlin told me way later that night because she took care of the situation before it escalated. She helped to make my day totally stress-free and enjoyable!
I can’t go without mentioning the value, which in my opinion was exceptional!

I hired Simply Elegant for Day of Plus coordinator for my wedding. Ashley (the owner) was super responsive and professional and matched me to Nadia, one of their lead planners. Nadia was an absolute dream to work with. Leading up to our wedding she was incredibly responsive, helpful, full of ideas and always so positive! I would leave emails or conversations with her feeling less overwhelmed and truly at ease knowing she was on my side. I was planning a wedding in MN from CA, which was a huge task, not to mention, we basically created a wedding venue in my parent's backyard - and I cannot imagine pulling it off without her!
The days leading up to our wedding and the day of she was absolutely essential. She was behind the bar pouring drinks if needed, pouring wine at the tables as needed, and always checking in with me and my husband to make sure we were having a great time. Everyone in my family loved her and was so impressed by her positive "bull by the horns" attitude and it was just such a relief to have her there! I truly cannot say enough amazing things about her and am so so grateful that we were paired with such a warm, organized and top notch coordinator.
I would recommend Simply Elegant and Nadia in a heart beat! :) -

Wedding Day Coordinator does not begin to cover all that Kristin did for us. Even if you go DIY on everything else for your wedding, make sure you hire a Simply Elegant coordinator. The day felt like it went off without a hitch. I'm sure there were hiccups, but Kristin took care of them all before my husband and I ever heard anything about them.
By the time we got to the wedding day, I was so comfortable with Kristin. We had emailed, talked a dozen times, and met in person as well. We lived out of state, and Kristin was very accommodating, often meeting when we were home around holidays.
I loved having Kristin as a coordinator because she happily and promptly took care of anything we asked. On top of that, she ran interference and let us enjoy the day. Right before we sat down for dinner, Kristin let us know that she swapped two of the tables so a family member could plug in his oxygen tank. Kristin saw this need, took care of swapping the tables and informing the caterer, and then filled us in when we had a free moment. All of these little things throughout the day could have meant time my husband and I (or our close family members) would have had to take away from enjoying the event, but Kristin covered them all.
At the end of the reception, I had asked my sisters to help my parents stay behind and clean up. Again though, Kristin had it covered, letting my exhausted parents go home to bed and my sisters out to party further with friends.
The next morning, Kristin let us know that one of the groomsmen had forgotten to grab his suit when he left, and she offered to take it back to the rental store for us.
Even though we did not hire them as a full wedding planner, Simply Elegant was there from the moment we hired them until the week after the wedding, always one step ahead of our needs. -

We are busy professionals and had little local support from friends and family for planning, and relied extensively on SEBC/Jenny. She was TERRIFIC!!! So many people in the industry are incompetent. But Jenny was so responsive, nice, hard working, etc. And she must have put in twice the time we contracted for. Day of was perfect -- Jenny and her assistant handled everything (and it was a challenging venue). A+++++ . I am not the kind of person to pot reviews, but in this situation is well worth it. -

The Best Thing to Happen to Our Wedding!
I cannot possibly put into words how grateful I am for my AMAZING wedding planner, Jenny, at the Simply Elegant Group! I frequently said throughout the wedding planning process that she was the best thing to happen to our wedding! Still true! From our very first meeting to our hug goodbye at the end of my wedding day, every moment was a blessing. She calmed my fears, eased my mind and handled my struggles. She was the definition of professionalism; always responding to my emails within hours, handling much of the vendor communication, and coordinating everything with grace on the wedding day. It doesn't hurt that she paid for herself in vendor discounts but having her be a part of our wedding was PRICELESS. My mom was a bit apprehensive at first about the need for a wedding planner but, in end the, she said it was invaluable to get to just be a MOM for the wedding! Where do I begin?!?! Simply Elegant nailed it. And the compliments regarding our wedding are still rolling in. After our first meeting with Ashley, we confidently signed with them and a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. She in turn listened to our vision and expectations of our wedding planner and wedding day and matched us with our wedding planner, Nadia. This is where the fairytale, wedding planner-couple relationship began!
Nadia was our rock! In addition to the preferred vendors, my wife and I had several "special requests" that involved researching and coordinating details outside the box. Instead of scoffing at the extra work, she embraced the challenges and executed flawlessly.
My only regret with Simply Elegant was that we should have hired them sooner; immediately after getting engaged. Prior to working with Simply Elegant, we had signed a couple contracts with vendors outside the preferred list. And wasted so much time and energy "spinning our wheels" for hours on internet searches, effectively getting nowhere. Instead of looking at hundreds of vendors and trying to fish out the quality-budget friendly ones, they have wonderful relationships with amazing vendors. Simplifying the process, offering peace of mind and saving $$$.
Nadia. Nadia the Great. Nadia our zen master. Nadia the tie-breaker. Nadia the playmaker. Some details we were particular about and some aspects of wedding planning we 1. Had no clue existed and 2. Did not feel strongly about. I can only speak for myself but having someone to entrust these details to and make decisions, was a time and relationship saver.
Simply Elegant, Nadia, Ashley and Nicole (the extra wedding planner for the day of the wedding) allowed us to focus on us during our engagement. Kept things in perspective and pulled off one of the best weddings in 2015 (note I'm slightly bias). We were able to float through our wedding day clueless, blissful, hydrated, well-fed and in love. I met with several wedding planners before I chose SEB. Specifically, my wedding planner was Nadia, whom I LOVE!! I live in California and was planning my Minneapolis engagement party for December 2014 and Minneapolis Wedding in June 2015. SEB allowed their resources, networks and knowledge to be available for me during both events, even though technically Nadia was my wedding planner; she helped me plan certain aspects of my golf course engagement party, as well. She met with the venue coordinators after I chose my venues (for my engagement party and my wedding) and helped me make decisions that I would have otherwise had to fly into MN to make.
I was able to send Nadia pictures of the looks/ideas I wanted and she gave me suggestions on how to make it more personalized for our wedding. Then she would contact her networks/vendors and get me prices and quotes so I never had to. I only visited MSP 1 time in Spring to meet with Nadia and look at/ pick out our centerpieces, table lenin décor, ect.
Nadia was always available for any advice whether it was what I should be working on next, how to word invitations or helping me pick a package that best works for me with different vendors. She helped make an extremely overwhelming process very manageable. She kept me on track while I was long distance, in school and working. I really can’t say enough great things about her.
The day of my wedding, Nadia ensured that everything was setup perfectly. She improvised when something went wrong and fixed it so that I never had to stress about anything. She ensured the vendors all worked together and kept the peace if there was any tension. She helped my day be as seamless as possible for my guests and me. I had a ton of comments from guests afterwards about how organized they felt our wedding was. From a Middle Eastern and Persian background, our guests feeling like things were organized was a huge compliment for us! Totally worth every penny! Made a huge difference! -

Jenny was our day-of coordinator and she was phenomenal! We had our wedding at a venue that did not allow rehearsals onsite, and Jenny was instrumental in making sure the ceremony went off smoothly. I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner, as I felt confident doing the planning myself, but having Jenny and her awesome assistant, Caitlin, to answer questions and direct everyone involved that day was extremely helpful. If I were to give ONE piece of wedding planning advice to engaged couples it would be this, HIRE a professional to coordinate your wedding!!! As a very detailed and organized bride I figured I could do all of the wedding planning and preparation myself. I launched headlong into DIY projects and getting help from all of the talented people in my life. I made the mistake of thinking that I could rely on a friend to help coordinate our wedding details the day of the wedding. Unforeseen circumstances came up with this friend and I was left floundering less than 3 weeks away from my wedding. Coordinating and orchestrating all of the transitions and cues and getting people in the right spot on the day of the wedding was NOT something I could do myself and it was my number one stressor point. I needed help and fast! I sent out a Hail Mary message to the Simply Elegant Group to help me last second to coordinate my wedding. Best decision ever, period. I'm actually GLAD things fell through with my friend and had to ask a professional to take over. My stress level went from a 10 to 0. I had full confidence that the day would run smoothly under the supervision of Simply Elegant Group. Our planner went above and beyond for us!! Our planner helped organize us and come up with a detailed timeline to work out all of the details as well as troubleshoot any concerns we had. We had our wedding in Rochester and needed two dessert vendor pickups in the twin cities, plus a liquor pickup in Rochester which they handled with ease! They finished the décor and styling set up of our reception and also coordinated and communicated with our vendors so I could relax and not be contacted about business on the wedding day! I am so grateful for our venue to have recommended SEBC to us. We were planning our wedding in less than six months and things were coming together very smoothly - I was on the fence about getting a wedding planner. I can honestly say it was by far the best money spent at our wedding! The preferred vendor list is fantastic and we got many of our key vendors from this list. Jenny was our wedding planner and she was incredible to work with throughout the planning process. We worked with Kara on our outdoor, at home wedding this year. I'm the most organized, bossy bride imaginable, and there is no possible way we couldve pulled off our day without Kara!! She was the perfect combination of kind and nurturing, and get-it-done organized. So many people complimented how many things she was doing on wedding day- the woman even baked State Fair donuts to send home with guests!! Using some SEBC vendors, we did save just as much in discounts as what we paid to hire them. For every bump in the road, Kara was there to smooth out the problem and keep me calm. The first choice I made for my wedding was the wedding planner-and SEBC was the first-and BEST choice I made! Kristin helped me every step of the way. I live in New York and got married in Minneapolis-so every time I fly in she set up appointments to look at venues, food tasting and dress shopping. Every few weeks she would let me know what the next step was and the next thing I needed to do, she was definitely my guide through this process. An added bonus was Cait-she handled ALL my decor! I literally told her I wanted pretty and romantic and a budget, and she planned everything, and it looked amazing! Cait also took care of all my stationary (programs, invitations & placecards). The week of Kristin contacted all my vendors and answered all their questions-I did not worry about one thing. The programs were delayed at the printers and Kristin and Cait put them together because I was traveling (they were literally my saviors because I was freaking out at this point). The day of the wedding these girls literally orchestrated my wedding. They dealt with the setup, all the vendors/deliveries and coordinated the flow of the day. I did not have to wonder at any point what needed to be done-they literally did it all!! I remember at one point asking Kristin "Do I need to do anything?" And she said "nope!". Kristin came up to me throughout the night guiding me where I needed to be, asking if I needed anything. She took care of bustling my gown (did I mention she came to my last dress fitting just so she could learn how to bustle my gown?). I made hundreds of choices over the last year for my wedding-the first and best choice I made was hiring the girls at Simply Elegant. I had the wedding of my dreams because I had the wedding planners of my dreams!

We worked with Jenny for our wedding, and I can't even begin to explain how amazing she was. We had her for the "full planning" package and she guided us through every step of the wedding planning process. I was one of those brides who actually hated wedding planning, but Jenny came in and made it fun again.
The 2 weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of was when Jenny really shined. I was probably the least stressed out bride the week of my wedding and the day of because she had taken care of everything. She worked with my venues on all the details (communicating our alcohol and appetizer selections, finalizing the reception "floorplan", coordinating setup and takedown times, etc.) In addition, she put together an extremely detailed timeline for the day and also called every single one of my vendors to ensure they knew where they needed to be and when.
On our wedding day, I didn't worry about A THING. Jenny and her assistant did all the set-up (ceremony chairs, reception decor/floral, etc.). She cued every event of the day (first look, processional, grand entrance, etc.) and made sure we didn't have to pay attention to a clock. If there was any problem on our wedding day, I didn't know about it, because Jenny took care of it right away.
Overall, hiring Jenny and Simply Elegant was by far the best money we spent on our wedding. A wedding planner sounds expensive, but I can assure you that it was worth every penny and all the stress my family and I DIDN'T have on my wedding day. Jenny was amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any future bride! -

We worked with Kristin and Maggie from Simply Elegant and they were absolutely amazing! We had a Barn wedding in Rochester, MN and there were hundreds of details/tons of coordination necessary since our venue was not traditional (normally it's a working horse barn - this was completely DIY!). Kristin was on top of everything and even volunteered to go above and beyond to help throughout the weekend. We cannot emphasize enough how meticulous she was in tracking and managing every detail but more importantly understanding our big picture priorities and doing everything in her power to help us achieve them. To illustrate, for example, we wanted to take 30 minutes to ourselves following our ceremony in a small cabin to process and take in the moment. Without any request from us, Kristin set up a nice plate of hors d'oeuvres and some champagne, which we thought was so special. Kudos to her and Maggie for helping us pull off our dream wedding! -

Kara Souther, our wedding planner was amazing. She was very kind and helpful. I appreciated all the ways that she went out of her way to make our wedding day special. She was very organized and helped us think through things that we hadn't considered. Having her there on the day of the wedding alleviated stress knowing she was fully capable to handle any situation. If you are considering getting a planner Simply Elegant and in specific Kara would be a great choice. -

Ashley Henry was my wedding planner and straight from the start I knew she was going to my make my dreams come true! I used her Day-Of coordination services and she rocked it out! She was always there to answer any questions I had before the wedding, anytime of the day, any day of the week. Her preferred vendor list was awesome and I definitely took advantage of that! I saved so much by using her preferred vendors! She basically paid for herself! On the day of my wedding everyone was so surprised at how calm I was and I owe it all to Ashley! I didn't have to worry about a thing! She took care of everything while my husband and I enjoyed the wedding of our dreams! I DEFINITELY recommend Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting and I know my (HUGE) family will undoubtedly be using them for their wedding events as well. Thank you again, Ashley!! -

Being that we were planning our wedding from halfway across the country, it was critical that we had someone to be our eyes and ears on the ground. Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting was that and so much more! I left my initial conversation with Ashley knowing we would be in great hands. We were matched with our first planner based on our interest in certain venues, but after a few conversations we realized that it might not be the best fit in the long haul. Ashley did a wonderful job of pairing us with Jenny -- her enthusiasm, attention to detail, responsiveness, and genuine love of love were just what we needed to help calm our nerves. Jenny was chalk full of creative ideas and solutions in order to avoid any logistical nightmares from occurring. She went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly... even bringing me a cup of Caribou coffee (the nearest location being over 45 minutes away!). My husband and I walked away feeling like we gained a friend (our families practically wanted to adopt her after the fact). For those considering a wedding planner, you will not regret it! This is your time to focus on the love that you and your significant other share; and allowing that love bind two families together. We highly recommend hiring Simply Elegant (if not as full-time planners, at least month of) to do what they do best so that you can focus on the things that are most important to you. -

Cait was amazing to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process. She made it easy and worry free. My wedding day was a breeze I didn't have to worry about anything. Cait and her crew handled all the little details and more to help make my day go smoothly and perfect. I can't thank them enough for all the help. Kristin helped in planning our wedding and did a fabulous job of making sure all the details were taken care of before the day of and on the day off. Our wedding day went so smooth because we had Kristin there to make sure everything was taken care of. I didn't have to worry about anything on the day of because Kristin was on top of it all! Also, at the end of the night, Kristin took down the decorations and made sure they got in the right cars. What a relief, my family and I could just enjoy the night and not have to worry about this piece! I would defiantly recommend having Kristin or any other Simply Elegant Planner be a part of your planning and day. You day should be enjoyable and stress free, let someone else worry about the details on the day of. It goes so fast and you should be enjoying every minute, having Kristin there allowed me to do so! -

Simply Elegant was great to work with - our planner was Kristin. All of the advice and assistance leading up to the wedding day was fantastic. She was always there for us, and never batted an eye. The day of went extremely smoothly, flawless execution. Many of our friends and family said that it was the best wedding they've ever been to, which I think is an extremely high compliment... and certainly goes back to the planning and organization, of which Kristin and Simply Elegant were the backbone. -

We worked directly with Cait for our wedding planning . From the very beginning of the planing process we felt so welcomed by Cait and the team. Her knowledge and excitement of her job was so nice to see and her connection with vendors was amazing. We did the Day Of Coordinator package with Ashley and she was absolutely amazing! One of the best investments we made for the big day. She was always there to help us out with questions and made me feel so incredibly calm the last couple weeks before the wedding. I truly wasn't worried about a thing! Everything went off without a hitch down to the smallest details, and our hall was completely gorgeous! Not to mention she is just a fun person to be around :) An added bonus was that we booked our photographer and DJ through Simply Elegant, and the team chemistry that was present on our wedding day was something I wouldn't trade for anything. It wasn't something I hadn't thought about beforehand, but having your professionals clearly enjoy working with each other makes the atmosphere even more fun and upbeat! My husband and I are so happy with her and wish her and her team nothing but the very best and huge success in the business. -

You're crazy if you don't hire Simply Elegant for you wedding. I could not imagine my wedding without them. Jenny was absolutely fabulous! We had Ashley as the wedding planner last weekend. Ashley has been worth her weight in gold since the first day we started working with her. Since most people don’t participate in many weddings, it is difficult to know what choices to make when planning a wedding. Ashley was always available to answer any crazy questions we had at any time and always responded very quickly.
We saved more than the cost of her services by getting discounts from her preferred vendors. We used many vendors on her list and were extremely happy with all of them.
We only had her services for the day of the wedding, but she answered questions starting at the beginning of the engagement a year and a half prior to the wedding. She was very patient and extremely easy to work with. It seemed like she was always on our side when it came to working within a budget and has many ideas for saving money without compromising the quality of the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, she was able to keep everyone calm and smooth over whatever issues came up. When we got to the wedding, we discovered we had forgotten the garter and the correct wedding ring for the groom. She sent her assistant the hotel to pick up the ring and garters, so that we didn’t have to miss anything. At the end of the evening, when we were all exhausted from having too much fun, she packed up everything from the wedding and had it all packed in totes very quickly. I would recommend her to anyone. While we still might have made it through the wedding without her, we would have spent much more money, more time worrying and wouldn’t have had half as much fun!

I never thought a wedding consultant would be worth spending money on, then I met with Ashley Henry from Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting. Her insight on what I was looking for was enough to hook me, not only did we receive a discount on our catering by using one of their preferred vendors but she directed me to JenMar Creations who redesigned my mom's wedding gown into a stunning gown fit for me.
The day of the wedding was flawless, Ashley took care of all vendors and issues that arose which gave my husband and I total freedom to enjoy our day. I cannot thank Ashley enough, she's remarkable! -

Maggie (with Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting) was amazing on my wedding day! She took care of all the details so that I could relax and enjoy the day! She was the contact for all of the vendors and because of her, the wedding and reception was seamless. We had the absolutely HONOR of working with Ashley Henry, the owner of Simpley Elegant herself :) I am a Bridal Consultant at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City, and planned my wedding in Minneapolis, MN from a long distance. I needed a friend, a partner in crime, but mostly a true EXPERT and PRO in the bridal industry to help organize my ideas and plans so that I didn't spontaneously combust...talking weddings all day at work with my brides and then going home and talking about our wedding every night was extremely overwhelming! On top of their expertise, the connections and discounts that help you save money, they are truly professional and LOVELY ladies to work with :) When I told her that cameras from Say Yes to the Dress would be filming the wedding, she didn't even flinch!! She's so calm, and can handle anything! I seriously don't know what I would have done without Ashely, and I'm sad that I live all the way in New York, because she's the kind of person that you want as a friend, too. -

Right from our very first consultation with Ashley, she made us feel at ease. She is a joy to work with, creative, organized, and knows the MSP wedding industry inside and out. Ashley’s attention to detail is very impressive and she’s always quick to respond to questions! One of the things we most appreciated about Ashley is that we felt like she really tried to get to know us. We didn’t feel like just another client or name on a piece of paper. She gave us some really unique ideas and feedback – no cookie cutter suggestions here! She also referred us to some amazing vendors. I don’t know if we would have found them otherwise.
On the day of our wedding, both my husband and I felt so relaxed and a LOT of that had to do with Ashley and her team. The groom and I planned some detailed decor for our wedding and the logistics were complicated. Ashley and her team executed it PERFECTLY all the while making sure the wedding party, guests, and all of our vendors were comfortable and had everything they needed. We used Simply Elegant for day of services and were lucky enough to have Kristen Houck as our planner. She was such a calming force and always went the extra mile. I would not do another wedding without her! I always thought a wedding planner was a luxury I couldn't afford. I was wrong. If you book them early enough though you will get discounts on many of your vendors that can offset their services. Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting is totally worth working with!!! Not only did they help save time and money, they were a wonderful referral source for vendors!!! We were lucky enough to work specifically with Britty Glenn and LOVED her! She was so efficient, knowledgeable, timely, and an expert in the field! She allowed us to have the space to still make this our creation and supported us through this whole process! She was wonderful to have on the day of, setting up centerpieces, making sure we were on track with our timeline, lining people up, keeping things organized, handling passing off tips to vendors, and being a positive person whom we could trust to make sure things went smoothly on our big day! We connected with her so much and felt so supported by her! She is so detailed oriented and so am I, so I didn't have to worry she was missing anything and she did not! She was over-prepared!! As the mother of the bride, I would highly recommend Britty with Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting. She was professional in every way. She was very prompt in returning emails/phone calls. She gave us lots of good advice. It was such a comfort knowing that she had everything under control on the wedding day, so that I (and my daughter) didn't have to worry about all of the details. My daughter said that this was the best money she ever spent - and she got all of her money back in discounts that Britty was able to pass onto her from vendors. Ashley at Simply Elegant is a life saver! Unfortunately I didn't use the service from the beginning of my engagement, but she was able to come in once I had already gotten most of my vendors and help get all of the finalizing done and the last few vendors picked. Her amazing honeymoon planning service was another huge plus! We had an absolutely incredible honeymoon all planned by the travel agent on her team. The few weeks leading up to the wedding anytime I would contact Ashley, she got back to me very quickly and always had good advice, recommendations or just calming words of wisdom. The day of the wedding she not only brought food to the church on last minute notice, but anytime throughout the day that I needed her she was right there. She also had an assistant who ran out twice during the reception to get things for us (I needed more eyelash glue and my new husband wanted a monster)! I highly recommend Simply Elegant, they are so professional, positive, and have so much experience everything went off without a hitch. I've had so many guests say that nothing went wrong (which is just the way you want guests to feel) :) -

LOVED working with Ashley and the SEBC team! Not only did she guide me toward the best vendors, location and layouts, but she was FABULOUS at answering those awkward questions that come up but you never think about ("What do I do with the engagement ring during the ceremony? Does the wedding ring go on top?" and "My mom can't find a dress and I'm out of time slash ideas. Help!") She even e-mailed me the night before the wedding to make sure I was all set, and when I wasn't, she was able to print out the readings for the ceremony, rearrange the cake decorations, and meet me at my hotel room first thing!
Ashley impressed me time and time again with her punctuality, attention to detail and wholehearted concern for me and my wedding. I can't imagine doing it without her. She is my first and best recommendation to friends and family. -

We were hesitant to use ANY of our limited budget on a day-of wedding coordinator, but in hind sight it was one of the best investments of the entire day. Ashley met with us three times before our big day to learn what we would need and what our vision of the day looked like. There was a lot of work for Ashley and team to do on the wedding day as we had a barn reception with lots of little details in a non-traditional wedding venue. After planning my entire wedding myself from square one, I was hesitant to call Ashley and have her be my day-of coordinator because, let’s face it, I’m a huge control freak. I am so glad I did. I could not have been happier with what she did for me. I gave her my timeline and she did exactly what I wanted exactly when I wanted it. Her presence allowed me to relax and be completely present in my day and enjoy every second because it sure goes fast! From my view, my wedding was perfect and calm. Even if something wasn’t how I intended, I didn’t know about it. It was definitely something that I would recommend to everyone because in a time that can be so stressful and crazy, I had zero stress or anxiety about it once I knew everything was in her hands. Simply Elegant was the best decision we made next to getting married! SEBC was extremely helpful when giving advice; they maintained a calm, relaxed, and professional presence. Ashley and Alyssa were amazing! They both took great care in helping me organize our timeline, our decorations, and various details which made our special day run smoothly! They were there for whatever help I needed and supporting in our vision of what we wanted our day to look like!! The most important thing was my husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding without any worries ~ we had peace of mind knowing that Simply Elegant was there to ensure success!!! Cannot thank Simply Elegant enough for their committment to providing excellent service and just being Simply Awesome! -

What's the quickest way to take the stress out of planning a wedding? Hire Ashley with Simply Elegant Bridal Consulting. I had no idea what I had gotten myself into when I started planning my wedding. Ashley was there every step of the way providing great recommendations and planning services. She is a joy to work with and I worried about absolutely nothing on my wedding day. Apparently there were a few minor hiccups the day of the wedding, but I knew nothing about them at the time because Ashley was there to step in and take care of it. Also, the value of her services cannot be beat. It will be the best decision you make when starting to plan your wedding. -

Whatever you need for your wedding Simply Elegant can help and if they can't then they will find someone that can. They do a lot of research so they are ready to give you any information you may need to lead you in the direction you want to go for your wedding. I was so pleased with everything they did from putting the flowers on my cake to guiding the bridal party on the day of the wedding. Not only was I able to have all my questions answered, they also asked me the questions I never would have thought about. They filled in gaps and solved problems that I didn't even realize were there because they were on top of every little detail. If you want a stress-free wedding I would book them for sure! -

We hired Ashley for day-of-coordination and were thrilled with the care she took to make our wedding day run smoothly. Tons of things needed to be done in the weeks preceding the wedding, and our meetings with Ashley assured us that we were well prepared. Before and on the big day, Ashley made sure our vendors were on the same page and tended to the little things that came up. She was organized and attentive, inconspicuous but always there when needed. Our parents and we were able to relax and enjoy the day because of her support! -

“I recently had the privilege of attending an event that Ashley Henry planned and prepared and everything was so beautiful and well thought out. The centerpieces she made were gorgeous and the way she laid out the tables looked so nice. Her attention to detail was so impressive - from how the photos were arranged to the lighting in the room to the menu and drinks. Ashley thinks of everything and wants it all to be just perfect.
