Perfect Wedding at The Shores at Daytona Beach!
We had the most unforgettable wedding at The Shores at Daytona Beach on June 1 plus a welcome party the night before, and I can't recommend this venue enough! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still raving about the stunning views, vacation-worthy destination, and overall elegance and attention to detail.

The Outdoor Space:
The outdoor space at The Shores is absolutely breathtaking. We held our welcome party and ceremony on the terrace overlooking the beach, and the views of the Atlantic were nothing short of magical. The space is perfect for an oceanfront celebration including the sound of the waves in the background.

Atlantic-Facing Ballroom:
The ballroom itself is equally stunning. With floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, it creates a light-filled, airy atmosphere. The space is elegant and spacious, allowing for a beautiful, sophisticated setting for our sit-down reception. The natural beauty of the surroundings complemented our beach-inspired décor perfectly, making it feel like our own private paradise.

In-House Event Coordination:
We were so impressed with Donna Crane, the in-house event coordinator at The Shores. She was incredibly helpful from day one and worked seamlessly with our outside vendors: A Lovely Engagement, Jennifer Juniper Photography, Jeff Scott - Guitarist, and our (non-wedding) band, Shadow Cabinet. It was such a relief knowing that we had an experienced team between Donna and Jillian working behind the scenes making sure everything was on track, so we could focus on enjoying every moment.

Overall Experience:
The entire experience at The Shores was flawless. From the beautiful setting to the exceptional staff, everything was designed to make our wedding day stress-free and unforgettable. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the excellent service of the staff members on both days, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our love.

I fell in love with this venue for many reasons. I loved the view from the ocean terrace and the reception rooms were equally beautiful, one overlooking the ocean and the other overlooking the river and city. Minimal decor was needed because of how elegant the structure (bones) of this venue was. I would recommend this location to couples who want that perfect balance between beach and city. I worked mostly with Donna and she was accommodating. I highly recommend hiring at least a day-of coordinator to ensure your big day runs smoothly.

I have nothing but positive things to say about having my wedding at The Shores Resort and Spa! Everything was such a pleasant experience from the initial visit to tour and ask questions to the actual day! Donna Crane is an angel! She is so friendly and helpful! I had so many questions and she happily answered them all! She and Lisa helped me set up my room blocks for guests and menu tasting. She stayed in contact with me in the months, weeks, and days before the wedding to make sure everything was in order. I unknowingly booked on the weekend of a huge cheer competition and they helped me switch to a different weekend where it would not be as busy and more rooms were available for my out of town guests. I also had a couple of last minute hiccups and she helped me settle them.

The room for the bride and ladies in the wedding party to get ready was great. It is on the same floor as the ballrooms. That was very convenient since I was setting up all of the decorations myself. The only nuisance was that hotel guests just exploring kept coming to the rooftop floor to check it out and four separate groups of people walked into our spaces to look around even after they saw that we were having a wedding up there. Not a big deal but kind of annoying to have strangers in your business..

The food at the reception was delicious. The servers and bartender were especially attentive to me and my husband at the sweetheart table. The entire staff was friendly and attentive from arrival to departure. From the valet and the reception clerk, to the servers and bartender. Even the workers I saw in the halls were very friendly. Our room was amazing with a beautiful ocean view.

I had always dreamed of a beach wedding with the ocean in the background, but it had been storming all week. Donna and the staff still made sure that our indoor ceremony was just as nice despite the weather. The pergola and outdoor ceremony and cocktail space is very pretty and roped off so people from the hotel won't accidentally walk into your event. The indoor ceremony/reception space is a spacious ballroom with large windows overlooking either the river or ocean. We had 50 guests and it could have easily accommodated many more people. The dance floor was a good size. The open bar was fabulous! All of my guests commented that the bartender was very friendly and attentive to the guests' requests.

Overall, everyone was very happy with this venue and its staff. Special shoutout to Donna and Lisa! I even had some local guests who liked the place so much that they said they were going to visit again by themselves. My husband and I will be here every year on our anniversary since we only live an hour away! Great location and experience!

This venue is amazing! They worked with our budget and has backups prepared in case of weather. Donna was superb through the whole planning process !

Our wedding was held in the Atlantic Room with all windows overlooking the ocean. The people at The Shores were absolutely fantastic, especially Donna Crane who worked with us to plan it and make sure everything was just right.

Everyone at The Shores was so friendly and accommodating. The venue was gorgeous and Donna Crane did an amazing job of arranging it all for us. We LOVE The Shores!

This place provided a gorgeous view for our wedding ceremony and also the reception. Customer service was top notch and we look forward to having events here in the future!

I had my dream wedding at The Shores and can not say enough good things about it! Carley was so wonderful to work with, she responded to my e-mails quickly and always made me feel like I was special not just another bride. The food was amazing, best wedding food I ever had. The staff was very helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful. It was the first and only venue we looked at and we knew it had to be at The Shores. We stayed there with most of our guests for the whole weekend and there is no better resort on Daytona Beach. We will be back!

My husband and I were married March 19th, 2016 and had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at the hotel and we had over 150 guests from out of town that stayed at the hotel. Our wedding weekend was perfect! we could not have been more pleased with the service for each event of the weekend. Everything was organized and looked perfect on wedding day! We could not be more pleased with Owen, who was the wedding coordinator. He was professional, reliable, and attentive to every last detail. The food was awesome and all the staff were friendly during the reception. Multiple friends and family have all commented how beautiful the wedding was and how fluid was conducted all thanks to Owen and the staff at The Shores Resort and Spa. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful beach side wedding.

Carley and her team are absolutely amazing, and the venue itself is gorgeous! Carley is very knowledgeable, organized, and professional! When we toured venues, we knew this was the right one for us mostly because we wanted to work with Carley - the venue being beautiful and on the beach was another added bonus!

The food was delicious, the views and the resort are gorgeous, and the wedding and events team is wonderful to work with. We could not have asked for more.

We recently got married at the Shores Resort & Spa on 6/26/15. It was such a beautiful venue. We like that everything was in one place and that our guests didn't have to make any additional travel arrangements since this was already a destination wedding (we're from CO). Our event coordinator was Carley Rodriguez and she is amazing! Since we did most of our planning via email/phone calls it was crucial that every little detail was crossed off the list. Carley and her team answered any and all questions promptly which gave us piece of mind. Although due to weather we didn't get to be married outside - Carley worked with our other vendors to ensure we received the next best thing and it looked just as amazing! Our reception was beautiful and the space was amazing overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Our guests absolutely loved the place. We all can't wait to come back for a visit! Thanks for everything! From the beautifully remodeled rooms to the amazing food to the incredible staff. They go above and beyond to make every special event THE special event...even if they have a dozen going on at the same time.

A wonderful little gem in the Daytona Beach area! My wedding day was fantastic and all the guests enjoyed the accommodations! The staff was very friendly and very easy to work with through out the planning process. Could not have asked for a better venue for my wedding!

The Shores Resort & Spa helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. Since this was a destination wedding many of our folks came in several days early to enjoy the resort. Even though it rained for a few of the days, the Resort had more than enough space to entertain all of our guests. One thing I will suggest is that if you're the Bride & Groom, book the large balcony room on the corners closest to the outside ceremony location. These rooms have an amazing balcony that make for a romantic setting.

The shores resort & Spa was the perfect place for my wedding it is definitely a 4 star Hotel! The services were excellent. The food was delicious. The weeding coordinator, Jackie Neill was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful. It is beachfront and you can't beat that!!

Jackie, our coordinator was amazing! She was such a calming presence when things got crazy and she was so willing to work with us to ensure our day was everything we envisioned.

The Shores Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach was like love at first sight. That was the first venue we looked at... nothing else even compared to it when we visited. It was perfect for us - we wanted the beach theme without the mess of the sand. We did have our pictures taken on the beach, which turned out great! This venue is not the cheapest by any means, however, you get what you pay for!! Everything about it was beautiful and magical!

Wonderful venue, the team at The Shores, headed by Michelle Waddell was flawless and made the day so easy and special for us and all of our guests. The team at the spa did beautiful hair and make up and treated us all as VIP's. We got married outside on the patio at the resort on a beautiful day in the 80's - the morning got warm and Michelle and her team made sure that guests were taken care of and brought out umberella's which had not been in the plan. This was just one small example of the care they took, the entire staff were great and nothing was too much trouble.

This is THE BEST place for your wedding! Brittiny did an amazing job and everyone is still talking about The Shores. Can't wait to go back for another stay or event.

My husband and I just fell in love with this location the minute we saw it. Brittiny and the staff really did an incredible job with the reception. It was more beautiful than we ever imagined. Everyone was so nice and very helpful from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing and was not the super small portions we had expected from a 4 star resort. Everyone, from guests to vendors, were just in awe of this location and everyone working there.

We am go glad we chose The Shores Resort and Spa for our wedding venue. We could not have asked for a better venue, the weather was beautiful and the spaces where the ceremony and reception were held were beautiful! Brittany, the event manager, really worked with us and answered any question we had along the way. She even wrote us a sweet note and sent a bottle of champagne to our room after the event ended. My guests were impressed with the beauty of the venue and I received so many compliments on how everything came together. I could not have done it without the team at The Shores Resort and Spa. My wedding was perfect, thank you!!

This is a beautiful location for a wedding and great place to stay. Everyone is amazing! They make you feel at home! The wedding coordinators were wonderful! I always knew everything was getting taken care of and they always got back to me when I had any questions! My guests absolutly loved the Resort! I could not have asked for a more wonderful venue! There reception rooms have breath taking floor to ceiling window view! Elegant yet affordable! Highly recommend!

We looked for several venues before deciding to sign at The Shores. The location and the panorama was beautiful. We stay at the hotel in few occasions before engagement and we love the place. Joshua was great as well the rest of the staff. They made the day of the wedding run smooth. My guest were very please with setting and accommodation. Food was excellent. I will recommend the Shores Resort & Spa to any bride that will like a romantic and classy wedding.

I could not say better things about this venue. Josh and the staff at the Shores provided me with all the attention and an eye for detail any bride could ask for. The have such beautiful ceremony and reception rooms, but we also used the hotel for rehearsal dinner and brunch. They provided each event something unique. But the wedding ceremony and reception were just over the top.

The Shores was absolutely amazing!!!!! Josh was the best. I couldn't have had a better person in charge of coordinating everything. He made sure the entire day ran smoothly. My guests complimented the kind & courteous staff. I relied on Josh for EVERYTHING because I had a destination wedding. I only met him twice but his professionalism made me rest assure that everything would be OK. Being out of town, i relied heavily on communicating through email and phone. He always responded promptly. I would highly recommend Josh Williams and The Shores for any event you may have....especially your wedding.

The Shores Resort ended up being the perfect backdrop for my wedding day. To be honest, The Shores was recommended to me by a linen company. When I first heard Daytona, I thought, why would I get married in Daytona? My husband and I live in Orlando with all of our local friends, and the rest of our family and friends are from out of state. Daytona seemed very NASCAR and spring break...but since it was recommended and the website looked nice, we decided to drive out to Daytona Beach Shores, check it out, and see if we could consider it or scratch it off of our list. What we ended up finding was, the first place we looked was the place of our dreams!! We walked on site and just knew at that moment, this was where we were going to get married!! It was an immediate "done deal."

Every single person we met was so friendly, helpful, and didn't wait for us to say the first word or make the first move...the service there was impeccable, and since my husband and I both work in the hospitality field, we can easily post judgment...and we couldn't find a single thing wrong with this place!!

The hotel itself was a beautiful little boutique hotel and the decor was just right up my alley. On top of it all, I knew my parents would love it, and that was important because they were paying for it! To be able to find a place I knew my parents would love as much as my husband and I did was amazing to me.

In short, the entire weekend was awesome...we stayed from Thursday until Monday (with the wedding on Saturday), and the hotel was so comfortable, the food was delicious, the scenery of being on the beach was breathtaking...we did not want to leave and we cannot wait to go back year after year to celebrate our anniversary, and perhaps even to renew our vows!! Our ceremony was on the back patio with the beach in the background, and our cocktail hour was right there during sunset. For our dinner and dance, we went to the top floor which overlooked the intercoastal. The entire weekend was emotional, breathtaking, incredible...there are not enough words to describe how amazing it all was, and The Shores Resort again, was the the PERFECT backdrop for such a wonderful moment in our lives that we will look back on fondly forever.

Everything was beautiful and delicious. The only issue was whoever was letting tables go at dinner forgot and didn’t release half of them. Easy fix. Donna was very helpful with organizing everything. My officiant (not associated with the resort) had never performed a wedding ceremony before and Donna helped him line up the ceremony. We forgot our card box and Donna made sure there was one. All around excellent experience.

Donna, at The Shores in Daytona, was great. She took care of our every need. She exceeded our expectations. I have recommended her to all my friends and family!!!

My wedding was above and beyond all of my expectations. From the time I pulled up the night before, the valets were awesome and brought everything up to my room and then on to the coastal room for setup. They even ran back down to the car for forgotten items. Check in was quick. The room and views were spectacular. The day of my wedding Carley came up to my room because we hadn't met in person yet. My day could not have gone better. I have never seen a wedding have no problems. My guests all raved about the food, the service and the fantastic settings. I truly was blown away. The following morning Carley Rodriguez came to me and thanked me for how awesome my guests were. Seriously I was so happy. I most definitely would recommend anyone to use this venue.

Our reception venue was perfect! The food was beyond amazing and completely impressed everyone! I received the best compliment from a snobby friend that my wedding was the most elegant and beautiful that she'd ever attended! This is saying a lot considering we've both been to weddings together at The Ritz Carlton! Michelle at The Shores is awesome and a delight to work with. She could even handle the annoying mothers and 'too many opinions'. The wedding reception was 100% amazing and I wouldn't change anything (except make the night go slower).

I was very disappointed with the overall service level at the hotel though. Again...not the wedding reception, just the hotel. This had no reflection on the wedding night, thank God. The bride and groom along with several family member and friends were traveling from other parts of the state to stay here Thursday-Sunday for the big 'Wedding Weekend.' I had the Presidential Suite booked for two nights and the service was not great. I got yelled at by room service, several rooms were not ready on time, evident smoking in the suite prior to my arrival, dirty rooms, broken faucets, and the bar closing early even though we had arranged for it to stay open for our 50+ guests attending an after party 'purchasing drinks'. Seeing that our wedding brought in so much business that weekend I had much higher expectations. When I voiced my concerns to the front desk staff, they seemed less than concerned and had a general "Oh well" type of attitude. I do hope for future brides that Michelle lit a fire and got the service level back to what it should be! I'm sure she did so I absolutely recommend this reception venue and hotel!!!

Despite the wedding coordinator leaving just one month before my wedding without being notified my wedding went off without a single issue and was better than I could have ever dreamed! The food was outstanding and the service was good. Carlie and her team are amazing.

The prices are far but there is not much felxiblity in menu options for a brunch wedding. They dont have a price spread sheet would was really strange to me. But the loction and amenities are amazing

Had my wedding there in 2015. Difficult is the way I would describe my experience with The Shores. I think they used to be good back in 2010-2012. Now, it's not.... It's still a beautiful venue but the communication is just horrible. Really difficult to get answers in a timely manner. I think Carley must work part time or something? They need someone on staff full time because they get slammed for wedding season but it's so difficult getting answers/pictures when I need them (I would wedding plan on Sat & Sun- they don't get back to me until Tues...by then Im working and can't deal with it until the next Sat and then it cycles from there) ugh! And this place is expensive! Seriously expensive! They wouldn't give us a tasting when my fiancé and I were in town so figuring out the menu was really difficult and I had to guess at most of it. Many of my guests told me they had a very difficult time calling because there was always at least a 10 min wait on the phone lines to reserve rooms...and this was in the daytime....getting through to someone after 5pm was impossible. I asked about children activities and was transferred 3x and then ending up leaving messages in the gift shop voice mail after the front desk told me that is who would have the answers- & nobody ever called back (surprise surprise). The majority of the staff is not good. Valet lost the ticket for the car & blamed my fiancé in front of everyone. I had a package sent to The Shores to be used for the wedding but it was never brought to me and when I asked about it, they said they didn't have it....so I had to track it down (more time spent doing this) The spa is overpriced. They just didn't give me any info up front except for a food menu ...many pages didn't apply to me. It's like they gave too much food info and 0 other important logistic info which made things very difficult. This was my most difficult vendor. They gifted us with strawberries & chocolate on our wedding night but the stress didn't make up
