We were planning an out of state wedding, my future brother in law had been married here and we decided to also have our wedding here. It was amazing! They were so accomodating, we had a lot of people fly in from our home town of Chicago, right from the start they were easy to work with. Getting a block of rooms booked and making everyone's reservation, the planning of the ceremony and the reception, and just some odds and ends while we were there was so easy! Our outdoor ceremony was beautiful! The cocktail hour outside on the patio really set the tone for our wedding. The food was perfect, really our entire wedding went off without a hitch because of the wonderful staff at FireSky. As difficult as it was to plan a wedding from a different state, they really made my job a lot easier by being so thorough. They were easy to get in touch with when I had questions and got answers back to me quickly. They were meticulous in the entire planning process. We can't wait to plan another trip there for our first anniversary!

Amazing Venue!

This venue is beautiful and the people that you work with along the way are incredible! We were so lucky to have our wedding there and stay on property. Our vision truly came to life and we had the most beautiful day!

We worked with Kelly Brabant and Alex Edmunds to plan our wedding ceremony, room blocks and cocktail hour. Kelly and Alex were very responsive to any concerns and questions. Kelly was very available throughout our stay and made sure our needs were met. All of our guests had a lovely time at the resort. It is beautiful and easy to navigate. The ceremony spot is located in the center of the resort so it was easy for our guests to find it. Our wedding was amazing. We looked at 10 other spots in Scottsdale and Firesky was by far the most accommodating and just as beautiful as the others. We wanted to host our reception off site and none of the other resorts in the area would allow us to have the ceremony there without a $10,000 food and beverage minimum. Firesky was the only place that could allow us to get married there without hosting the reception at the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel!

Our experience in working with FireSky and in particular, Jessica Angel was absolutely wonderful! From start to finish, Jessica was exceptional and was the primary reason we decided to have our ceremony at there. She was exceptional with all the details, information and outline leading up to our big day and we're certain that it wouldn't have gone off as well as it did if it weren't for her. Additionally, the entire staff at FireSky was polite, friendly and did everything they could to make our ceremony the absolute best! We would highly recommend anyone to this venue and can never thank Jessica enough for all the effort she gave to make our day a once in a lifetime experience! MG & JD

About half way through planning our Firesky wedding, we found out that the previous coordinator was leaving and we were really disappointed. The disappointment lasted only until we met Jessica, who is the most INCREDIBLE wedding coordinator I ever could have imagined. I cannot say enough positive things about her and her staff. Everything she did made our day so unique and special.

My husband is Australian and I am originally from Michigan, so we had about 95% out-of-town guests (about 130 traveling in from around the US and 9 different countries). On top of that, we live in Texas and only had 2 opportunities to visit Firesky prior to the big day. Jessica made the most of those visits and had everything organized to perfection.

Coming in from out of town, there are a few details that are easy to forget. The day before the wedding, I realized that we didn't have a room big enough for all of the girls to get ready in. Jessica came back with key cards to the big suite overlooking the wedding site so we could see the guests as they arrived. Jessica covered each and every detail and made the entire day beyond what I could have imagined. She made sure the flowers were delivered to the correct place, informed everybody of their timing, fluffed my train before walking down the aisle, met us at the end of the aisle with glasses of champagne after we said "I do," checked in on us dozens of times throughout the day and evening to make sure we were okay, patiently and gracefully handled all guests and coordinating everybody to stay on schedule, left a beautiful note with a signed bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for when we returned to our room... the list goes on! I've never felt more like royalty and would recommend Firesky to anybody and everybody looking for a venue.

Jessica A. & the entire Kimpton Firesky staff did an absolutely stand out job for delivering a perfect wedding day for my husband & I. Our guests gave us so many compliments on the beautiful venue, delicious food & drinks, and overall experience.

Service is top notch at this venue. What really drew my husband & I to selecting this place was that for the get go you could tell that the staff loved working working there. They were all extremely hospitable from the moment we walked through the doors for the first venue consult.

Responsiveness, professionalism, and flexibility was never an issue. Whether it was about our room block for guests, the type of house linens for my event, or question about cost estimates that would best suite our budget, inquiries big & small were always tended to in an acceptable timely manner.

My husband & I can wholly attest that we received the experience we paid for. The value for the venue is apparent from start to finish. We are so happy we chose Kimpton Firesky for our special day!

FireSky was the perfect spot to have a wedding! The resort is absolutely gorgeous on the inside and out. We got married outside and it was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and kind and went above and beyond to exceed all of our expectations!!

If I could give Firesky more stars I would. The staff was so accomodating and friendly. Most of the wedding guests came from out of town so the intimate feeling was very appreciated....wasn't too big. The gorgeous scenery made beautiful ever-lasting photos, pools are wonderful, SPA is AMAZING, FOOD WAS AMAZING....I can't say enough great things about this place. Can't wait to spend anniversaries here;)

Our wedding at Firesky was absolutely phenomenal. We were married 10/19/2012 at sunset in the Oasis Lagoon and it was just the perfect weather and so gorgeous. I was shopping for venues online from another state, and as soon as I found Firesky I knew it was the perfect fit. I booked immediately, because weekends in the fall fill up quickly in AZ! I'm proud to say that I've fallen in love with Firesky and now visit as frequently as I can.

We were treated like royalty from the beginning. It was worth every single penny. Jamie and Dorothy went out of their way to make us perfectly happy. I was stressed to the max the day of but they managed to pull everything together and I was absolutely stunned and so thankful. Their attention to detail and added creativity really made the difference. Their preferred vendor list helped us to find a phenomenal photographer as well.

The food was delicious (and beautiful to look at!) and I still get compliments to this day for it. The service was impeccable and literally all of the staff at Firesky go above and beyond to make an unforgettable stay for you.

We just might renew our vows at Firesky on our anniversary this year with closest friends and family :)

We got married on April 13, 2013 at Firesky Resort & Spa. It was a fairy-tail wedding…perfect! The grounds were beautiful, the staff was wonderful, the food was terrific!!! I would highly recommend having your wedding at Firesky Resort. The staff (Jessica, Sarah, Brian, Dorothy) went above and beyond expectations for our wedding weekend. My husband and I were very high maintenance; but what-ever small/large special request we had, they were there and said “YES.” We liked that we could have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at one location. The garden was the perfect spot for an outside wedding; so lush, colorful and so pretty! Jessica was the best wedding coordinator. One thing I will always remember is that right before my husband and I had our grand entrance, I realized I forgot my tiara in my room. Jessica ran all the way back to our room, got my tiara and put it on my head right before my husband and I made our grand entrance. But, she also did a thousand other things to make our wedding perfect.
Thank you Firesky Resort for helping us to create our dream wedding. We will hold these memories with us forever.

We worked with Jessica for our wedding at Firesky. She started 2 months ago - which was about a month before our wedding. It was an absolute blessing in disguise because she is the BEST on-site coordinator EVER!!! I met with her to make sure she knew all the details of the wedding, and she was quickly responsive to all my emails (which were alot for a detail oriented bride like me!), as well as answered her phone. We didn't pay to have our officiant come to the rehearsal, so she ran our rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what to do. I felt so taken care of on my wedding day and it was all because of Jessica and her staff!!! She is the BEST!!! (did I already say that?)

As for the wedding itself, in my opinion, it turned out beautifully. The ceremony space is intimate and gorgeous, being surrounded by lush landscape. Jessica makes sure other guests are vacated from the surrounding space, so only your guests are watching your ceremony. Arizona is obviously very hot, and no one wants to be sweating while watching a wedding - the large trees in the space create some shade for you and your guests. We used uplighting in the ballroom, which transformed the room to perfectly match with our color scheme. And the food is AMAZING!!! 5 stars for the steak! If you want an unforgettable and amazing wedding, BOOK FIRESKY NOW!!!

The minute we walked into FireSky we knew this was our Venue. We were treated very well there and Jamie was amazing to work with. They were very attentive to our needs and were open to modifying whatever was needed to make my evening spectacular. Everything was perfect.... We would recommend for anyone seeking a Venue to go to FireSky and work with Jamie. I would definitely refer them for any wedding!!

Jaclyn and the entire staff at Firesky were terrific from day one! The facility was so beautiful and green. Not only were the banquet room and ceremony site gorgeous but the rooms were amazing as well. Our guests had such a fantastic time and everyone was treated like VIP. My husband and I were worry free thanks to their amazing staff!

FireSky was unbelievably amazing! It is the most beautiful setting without the feel of a huge overwhelming resort. We started working with Lynn but she ended up moving which made me a little nervous... but to my delight, Jamie and Jaclyn took over our wedding. Jamie took the reins in the few weeks leading up to the wedding and was an absolute delight! Every email (and I sent quite a few!) was answered promptly and professionally. I never had to worry about a thing, Jamie took care of everything! On the day of our wedding, Jamie, Jaclyn and all the staff at FireSky went above and beyond our expectations. My mom even got a run in her nylons right before the ceremony and they went out and bought her new ones! Our entire wedding was completely seamless, beautiful and amazing.... thanks to FireSky! Our guests were so thrilled with the food, service and beauty of the location. We couldn't be happier with our experience at FireSky!

We fell in love with FireSky the moment we walked out to the pool/lagoon area...this place is stunning! Our out of town guest loved the outdoor cocktail hour and getting to enjoy the warm Arizona whether. Kerri and Jaclyn were both fantastic to work with, always quick to answer any questions, and made sure the reception went seamlessly. We were so so happy with FireSky and are looking forward to spending our one year anniversary there next October :)

A hidden paradise in the middle of Scottsdale, FireSky was a beautiful venue for our wedding. Even though we are local, the secluded and intimate environment made it feel like a destination wedding in the middle of an island paradise. The pool was a perfect gathering place for kids or grownups. They even have smores by the campfires at night and happy hour every evening in the lobby. Lynn, the catering manager, worked hard with us to get everything we wanted.

Jamal, at the front desk, checked up on us frequently and made sure we were taken care of. The food was also amazing across the board, from the appetizers (especially the lamb lollipops), to the food stations.

We highly recommend Firesky for any couple looking for a boutique venue. It served as the intimate fun backdrop for our perfect wedding.

The Venue on your wedding can day can make or break your experience as a bride - I can honestly say that FireSky made my day SO much more enjoyable by the quality of service that the entire staff gave my guests, as well as, making me feel extra special by doing the little things so well. The food, the ceremony, the service staff, the front desk, the rooms - everything was done top notch and my guests and my husband and I had the most amazing day ever. I would highly recommend this place and feel 100% comfortable that they can make your wedding day a success too!

Our wedding was the best day of our lives and the Firesky Resort made this happen for us! From our first meeting with Lynn (the wedding coordinator for the hotel) until the day of our wedding, everything went so smoothly. The majority of our guests were from out of state so we had about 40 rooms of the hotel booked and we all had a blast! The grounds are intimate and cozy, with lots of greenery. The service is impeccable and friendly. The food at our wedding was delicious! Everything from the appetizers to the salad, to the dinner, to the open bar was perfect! Lynn made us feel so relaxed and she was so attentive with all our requests and needs. We definitely splurged but it was so worth it. I never wanted the wedding weekend to end!

Lynn, the wedding coordinator, and Chef James were absolutely AMAZING to work with!!!! They took care of every detail through the wedding planning process until the moment we left the resort. My husband and I were so pleased with the service from our first visit, we decided to stay the weekend after the wedding. The service was impeccable from the pool bar staff, to the servers for our intimate dinner at the on-site restaurant to our room attendant. Jim, the GM from the resort even came out to say hello on one day to ensure that we were enjoying our stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you to everyone at Firesky!

Everyone at Firesky was great, they all did a fantastic job of making our day special. Lynn was super, she was able to work with us on many things, she was flexible and very enthusiastic about our day. On the day of our wedding, during the ceremony it began to rain, and all I remember is watching Lynn run back and forth in and out of the rain to get all the decor inside. What a trooper. The staff and service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs. Many thanks to the chef who prepared our food, we got a lot of compliments, he really did a great job. Thanks to the staff who found our puppy Scotti, who slipped out of the room. All of our guests also enjoyed their stay at the resort. Many thanks to Lynn and the staff, you really made our day very, very special.

I could not be happier to have chosen Firesky as our ceremony and reception venue!! Not only is the property absolutely perfect, beautiful and intimate, the staff is top notch. Lynn Lakia, the catering manager/wedding coordinator was so attentive, supportive, knowledgeable and professional. I very much enjoyed working with her. She and her staff made the entire evening seamless. It's been over a month since our wedding and we STILL get rave comments on how amazing the food was (and it was fabulous!), how beautiful and classy the whole event was and how much fun they had. We even had a couple of guests say that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! That means so much to us to hear (and continue to hear weeks later) such wonderful things about our big day! Thank you for that, Lynn, and everyone at Firesky! Even the valet guys!! So so nice!!

One would think that having to change the location of one's wedding in the middle of the planning process would be horrible. In fact, this was one of the BEST things that could have happened. The Firesky is a top notch resort with a laid-back, modern/comfy vibe. The food was delicious- from start to finish. The staff including, Lynn Lakia (catering sales manager) was easy to work with, friendly, professional, and very responsive to all of our questions/requests. She made everyone feel comfortable. The rooms are nice and modern. You can't go wrong with this property-our guests loved it! Prior to the wedding, we attended a fantastic event where we could sample ALL of the potential apps, entrees, and even wine. Also, we were able to meet their preferred vendors should you wish to use them. Please note that the cake is included in the wedding package!

My wedding reception at Firesky this June was absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding and the customer service was great. Anytime I thought there may be a problem, they turned that into a challenge, and fixed it immediately. They were extremely professional and attended to every detail. The day of the wedding was perfect and their venue is absolutely beautiful. Lynn, the wedding coordinator, was very knowledgeable and lovely. Laura, that works in the gift shop, was very helpful and friendly. Dorothy, the banquet captain I believe, took charge after Lynn left and did an absolutely delightful job!! Luciano, not sure of his title, was at the big tasting we had where we were able to taste all of the food options and meet with several other vendors went above and beyond and said that basically anything that we wanted could be done. The whole experience was wonderful!

Our wedding at Firesky Resort was incredible. Lynn and her staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a great time.
The customer service was exceptional at every level. The food was fabulous. At one point, the bartender even went out of his way to search the property for a particular brand of scotch my father had requested during the reception.
Overall a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

My husband and I held our small intimate wedding at the Firesky in August. Neither myself or any of our family members live in Scottsdale so all planning was done from afar and within a fairly short timeframe. In a nutshell, we could not have been more pleased with every aspect of our service. When we left, we concluded that we would not have done anything differently at all. Even though another wedding had been scheduled about 90 minutes prior to ours, you would never have known it, nor would you have known that the hotel was fairly busy for August. The staff at the resort made us feel as though we (and our family) were the only ones there. They made sure my father, who has MS, was provided an electric scooter and when it stopped working, they made sure another was delivered. Luciano was amazing in helping us select wines and James, the head Chef, prepared a meal after our ceremony that our families are still talking about today.
In addition to making the day so great was all of the support and referrals Lynn provided leading up to the event. Her suggestions for an officiant and a photographer led us to people who felt like part of our family after all was said and done - not to mention services that were out of this world. We truly could not have asked for anything more or friendlier staff - we tried to think of what went wrong and could find nothing. My gratitude to the Firesky for making it such a wonderful experience, not only for my husband and me, but our entire family.

Our dream wedding day!

We had an amazing experience from start to finish with The Scott Resort & Spa. It was the perfect backdrop for our dream wedding day, and we could not be more grateful.
From the very beginning, we were treated with incredible hospitality by Debra Mizrahi during the sales process. After that, our experience continued seamlessly with our assigned event manager, Jocelynn Parra, who was wonderful to work with. Room blocks were simple to set up, and every guest who stayed on property absolutely fell in love with the resort. The team took such great care of both our hotel guests and our event guests. At the wedding itself, the food and bar service were exceptional. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was.
From a planning perspective, The Scott was an absolute dream. As a wedding planner myself, I cannot tell you how many venues refuse to be flexible or open to doing things differently than usual. The Scott supported every creative idea and allowed the vision to come to life. Because of that, our day was truly stunning.
I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for a high-end, elevated experience in Scottsdale, Arizona. I wish we could relive the day over and over again!

We had a unique situation, as the Catering Manager left Firesky to join another Kimpton Hotel in San Fran. We were passed on to the Dir of Catering & Conferences - but he was definitley more trained in conferences then weddings. Don't get me wrong, he was very detailed, it just felt like we were repeating everything and I was afraid the details would get lost in the shuffle.
The rooms weren't set up correctly for our group discount- they didn't have the block. But, that was the hotel-staff, not the conference/wedding staff. They did get it fixed. AND the groom's dad found a better deal online than what we negotiated. AGAIN, they took care of them. It was great.
They hold an event 'Eat Drink & Be Married' for all the couples that are having receptions at the resort- you can meet a select group of vendors and taste everything they offer from catering. I would highly recommend not missing this! They did a great job. The only thing we weren't impressed with was the limited selection of NON-fried appetizers. Chris, the head chef was more than happy to arrange for a 'custom appetizer' tasting. Luciano in the catering dept found Rose champagne for our black/white/pink themed wedding! It was perfect!
Then, a couple weeks before our wedding, they hired someone to fill the Catering Manager position. Thank God she had done weddings before, but again, I was left with regurgitating our details. We did a pre-wedding meeting, which was great, everyone was there and we went through every detail.
It rained right before our ceremony, so Lynn, the new Catering Manager did a great job of shuffling everything. We did end up staying outside after the rain had passed. She even took care of my dog who was our ring bearer!
We did use their in-house AV (SWANK) for lighting. They screwed up on lighting the cake, it was to be a clear/no color light...and it had a pink gel : ( other than that, it was perfect and I would highly recommend splurging on the 'up' lighting. We had lights on the head table as well and had a gobo made of our logo behind the band.
With the rain, it pushed back our schedule a little - i guess- i had no idea what time it was- i was lost in the moment! But i beleive Lynn did a great job of keeping things rolling.
One thing that really ticked me off is that we had about 8 people cancel on us right before the wedding -so we had 8 guests at each table (versus 10). I had escort cards so each person had a table number to sit at. They decided to just OMIT 2 tables. Just took them AWAY. So, these guests were TOTALLY confused and didn't know where to sit. They didn't have a TABLE. It ruined our entrance into the ballroom, as people were pre-occupied with trying to find a seat. I kind of noticed from the head table that some people weren't sitting in the right place and I couldn't figure out why there were 2 extra centerpieces behind the bar. Good thing I paid all that money for the centerpieces to sit behind a BAR. I still have not figured out why they would do this when we had table numbers...and then didn't help the guests who were displaced. They were told to 'just find something' when it was brought up to the staff.
Other than that, everything was great- it is a little pricey. BUT, they really did take care of us. I wasn't worried about anything. They even packed up all the decorations and put them back in our room- making sure our toasting glasses were ok, etc. They were VERY accommodating and really took care of us that day.

We couldn't be happier with the choice we made to use FireSky Resort and Spa as the venue for our wedding. Planning an out of state wedding could have been so much more stressful had we not selected this venue! We chose the location initially because we wanted our friends and family traveling from out of state (about 60% of the guest list) to have a one-stop-shop location for the events, a great hotel, fun and relaxation, and access to all of the best parts of Scottsdale. We also wanted a lush, green setting for our outdoor ceremony, which FireSky provided with it's own unique flair! We loved that the open, spacious, and quirky lobby and bar area seemed like a love-child between Phoenix and Seattle (our current home). Leading up to the event, there were a few minor crossed wires about our room blocks and guest count that ended up getting resolved rather quickly. However, once our Event Manager Jessica A. stepped into the picture, we knew we were well taken care of. Jessica clearly loves weddings and she, like all the staff we encountered there, were so happy to take care of us and talk us through every detail. Our tasting was a really fun event, with the chef and the sommelier coming out to talk us through our dishes, and the chef graciously worked with us on creating some vegan, gluten-free options for our guests. The day before the wedding, my bridal party and I took advantage of the spa services and had a really fun time. On wedding day, I woke up disappointed to find that my once-perfect pedi was smeared. It's the little things that can put your wedding day jitters on steroids! Amazingly, Jessica A. coordinated a nail technician to come to my room, fix up my toes, and she also brought a bottle of champagne for the wedding party to enjoy while getting ready! Talk about going above and beyond! The event itself was perfect, food delicious, and all our guests still can't stop raving! We would 100% recommend FireSky and would consider having another event there

We had our wedding at Firesky in June. The reception site is markably exquisite, with lots of unique places for beautiful photo opportunities. They cater the event and the food is incredibly delicious, with a beautiful presentation. The catering staff was so polite and professional, and our guests really enjoyed themselves.
There were a few hiccups here and there. One problem we had was that our events coordinator changed throughout our planning process so there were some inconsistencies on what we had originally planned vs. what the new wedding coordinator had in mind. Though after all is said and done, management was very acommodating and delivered the reception of my dreams.

We could not have received more compliments about this location! Almost 80% of our guests come to our wedding from out of state locations and we received so much praise about what a fabulous weekend everyone had at the resort. The ceremony site and grounds of the hotel are beautiful. So many perfect photo locations! KT, the coordinator was fantastic to work with, she is so much fun and I felt very special on my big day! She brought me champagne while getting my nails done at the salon and checked on me throughout the day.
Everyone said the food was the best. After our tasting several months prior to the wedding, I knew that we had chosen the right place as the food itself was going to be a highlight of the night. And it was!
As far as price, we got quite a shock when the price was LESS than we expected. My husband and I braved the heat (and forced our guests to endure an outdoor ceremony) and got married in June, we received a discounted rate for our food as it was the off season. In return, we had to pay for a full 5 hours of open bar just to meet our minimum! That was much more than we had planned, but it ended up being perfect. With most of our guests staying at the hotel, they were able to enjoy themselves and not stress about driving home.
The only downfall of this location was the reservations and front desk people. Several times I, or my guests called and no one even picked up the phone! We struggled to get some of the reservations taken care of. However, I simply bypassed the front desk and started contacting the group reservations person myself for my guests. It was a lot easier and they solved any problems quickly.
I would recommend this beautiful resort. It is such a perfect setting for a wedding.. great ceremony site and nice rooms for your reception.

We selected this spot because it was centrally located and has a beautiful outdoor ceremony and gorgeous ballroom. The food was amazing and the day of, we were well taken care of by the staff. I couldn't rate it a 5 across the board because it is pricey and you shouldn't plan a wedding there without having a coordinator. The good news is I had the most amazing coordinator ever, see Your Hearts Desire- Valerie Juarez review, but if you're doing it on your own, it would take a lot of effort and follow-up. We would make adjustments to the menu and bar but the contract wouldn't be updated correctly. That happened frequently so my coordinator was good at checking and adjusting the documents before I'd see it. Again, it's an absolutely Beautiful venue and your guests will appreciate the amenities. Just be prepared to pay a little extra and make sure you call Valerie!

Though we did have some issues with using an iPod for the reception it was well done every where else. KT Thompson was sweet, funny and really easy to work with. (Though be warned, she does a lot of weddings and some times can be a little bit overwhelmed and forget stuff, just email her so she is reminded.)

We stayed here to get ready for our wedding. Such a nice hotel and the photos we are going to have will be swoon worthy. The reason I am giving it three stars is because when we were getting our photos done, we saw there was going to be another wedding that day (we stayed 100% out of the way - in fact, we were not even near the ceremony/reception area)...one of the upper management(?) stated that we need to leave and no longer take pictures in the lobby...

Like what?? We were GUESTS at the hotel! And there was no other bridal party around us... I would beware of that. We had to do half of our photos at the Scott and the other half at the venue. Too bad...

The resort itself is beautiful! We loved the location and surrounding landscaping. Also, the staff on the night of our wedding was fantastic, including the banquet captain Dolores (they sold our promised honeymoon suite to another group that came in that night, but Dolores was able to get us the Presidential suite. We had not even met her before our wedding night but she went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience).

That said, the process was quite frustrating. From the site wedding coordinator (KT), to the front desk staff, to reservations, things were completely unorganized. We got the runaround on guest rooms, even after calling the head of reservations and having her take care of them herself. Several times they claimed to guests (and us) that they had no said wedding on file and no rooms available. They lost a lot of revenue from our guests, as they got frustrated and went elsewhere. Also, they lost 2 of our payments. The first check was our deposit, and the last payment of a credit card payment. The resort called and said it went through, then the day BEFORE our wedding, we got a large bill because they did not process it the month earlier. In addition, a week later my parents' credit card was billed (without authorization) for a charge that was never incurred. The irresponsibilty with our checks and credit numbers made us upset and nervous. In addition, the coordinator was hard to get a hold of, and when I did relay information to her, it was more often than not, messed up or not even acknowledged later. Even when I met with her face to face and saw her writing this information in our file. The day of went wonderfully, but not due to the resort. It was because our family is extremely organized and prepared.

The venue was beautiful, but I felt that I was just another name on the list. I didn't receive very personalized service, the venue was overpriced, and the coordinator never got back to me when I called or emailed. I didn't even meet her until the actual day of the wedding she was so busy.

Beautiful wedding venue with terrible customer service

I would like to start by saying that we had a wonderful wedding despite the Scotts multiple attempts to ruin our day. Our guests, the wedding party, our wedding planners all did their part. The rude comments by the staff, allowing another wedding party be at the resort while we were getting ready for our ceremony, scheduling difficulties, valets taking our cars and leaving them on running with lights on, are just some of the things that made our wedding more stressful and unpleasant than it should have been
