Amazing venue!

From the moment we booked, Samantha was extremely helpful and professional! She responded to all of our emails and knew our vision. On the day off, every staff members was extremely helpful and positive! Our guests still rave about the food! Cocktail hour was amazing and our guests mentioned how good the entrees were for all coming out together. We absolutely loved The Ryland and our wedding in the grand ballroom was everything we wished it would be!!

The Most Incredible Wedding Experience!

Our wedding at The Ryland Inn was truly the most incredible day of our lives. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect — not one thing went wrong. The staff was top-notch: professional, efficient, and attentive to every detail. They made the entire day run seamlessly and made us feel completely taken care of.

We had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and everyone is still talking about the food! The venue itself is stunning, and the service is unmatched. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience.

A Dream Wedding Venue

My husband and I got married in the Grand Ballroom on September 21st and we truly had the best experience - I knew it was going to be our dream wedding but it beyond exceeded our expectations!!

From the moment we toured Ryland Inn, we sensed how special this venue was - they made us feel so warm and welcomed from the start.

We were honestly so blown away by the whole team. The day of, everyone we worked with was so accommodating, on top of everything, and beyond willing to lend a helping hand. Our event coordinator, Danielle, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Any questions (and I definitely had quite a few) or concerns I had along the way, she was always there to help. I feel so grateful to have been working with someone who truly cared about making my and my husband’s wedding so special, and also a reflection of us.

As a bride, I did not have one thing I needed to worry about - Danielle and the staff made sure I was stress free and enjoying every second of the day. Any requests we had from the start to the day of were happily accommodated. The attention to detail was unmatched!!

The venue itself is stunning in every aspect - it really is picture perfect. Our guests were so impressed with cocktail hour and the food was plentiful throughout the night.

We could not be happier with how the day and night turned out. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. We have had so many people reach out to us about how great of a night it was and that they had the best night.

We would choose the Ryland Inn over and over again - it will always hold a special place in our hearts!

The very best!

From the start The Ryland was amazing! Samantha was there for everything I needed and always there for any questions or anything i needed. She really made it easy to plan a wedding. The day of, Ted was in charge of our cottages & he was great, attentive and there for anything we needed. Donna who was my bridal assistant was top notch! I really could not compliment her more. She was attentive, knew things before I could ask, and on top of everything that needed to be done. Thank you Ryland and all your staff. You made our wedding for one to be remembered!! We couldn't of loved it more!

I wish I could get married again here

I do not even know where to start! I had the most AMAZING experience throwing my wedding at The Ryland Inn. Danielle was the most helpful throughout my planning process and was very supportive and helpful. Her e-mail responses were quick and she was always able to answer my questions. We heard nothing but amazing things from our guests from the atmosphere, the food and the service. I highly recommend this venue, you will NOT be disappointed

A dream come true

We got married here in May 2023 in the Grand Ballroom and could not have selected a better venue. It’s of course a stunning space, but the food is also delicious and the staff are excellent. We were able to stay in one of the on-site cottages (Kimblewyck) the night before and night of the wedding, which was extremely convenient and helpful for getting ready. My only complaint would be that the house could have been a little better thought out - there wasn’t really anywhere to hang my dress where the garment bag wasn’t hanging on the floor, and the sinks in the bathrooms were incredibly small. The men were in the Grooms Cottage the afternoon of the wedding and had a great time.

Sam was our Memory Maker throughout the entire process and she was so wonderful to work with. Leading up to the day of, she was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions thoroughly, and on the day of, helped ensure that everything ran smoothly (especially impressive since it rained on and off all day and the plans for the ceremony kept changing). Angela was my bridal attendant and I absolutely couldn’t have made it through the day without her. She was incredibly helpful and took care of all kinds of small things I never would have even thought of. It was truly the most wonderful day of our lives, and we are so thankful that we were able to have our wedding here.

Dream venue

What an absolute dream! The food is absolutely amazing. Everyone mentioned how delicious the filet mignon was. My brother was even able to take a tour of the kitchen and they showed how they smoked their own meats. Everything is farm to table carefully selected. Not over the top and gaudy like other places and I've been to so many other venues. Just the right about of delicious quality food.

Danielle Gomez was so helpful in all our planning from the beginning. maitre d was also amazing day of!! Sam my bridal attendant was the best. The all made sure my day has everything planned out without having to worry! Food and drinks brought to us. Kept us on schedule and ensured the parents also were comfortable. Everything went perfectly!!!

It is such a beautiful venue too!! The grand ballroom is so open, bright, roomy and historic looking. Outdoor ceremony was gorgeous. No drapery and carpets that make the space feel dark claustrophobic.

If you're shopping around and interested.. do it!!

The Best Place for the Best Day

The Ryland Inn helped make the wedding of my dreams a reality. We were immediately impressed with the beauty and elegance of the venue on our first visit there. The Grand Ballroom was just spectacular and I knew it was the perfect place for our winter wedding. Danielle was great to work with, always willing to answer my million questions throughout the planning process. As it got closer to the date she was on top of everything and made us feel calm and excited for our wedding at the Ryland. The food was outstanding, so much so that so many of our friends and family are still talking about it! The kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure there was something for everyone. They were eager to accommodate my dairy allergy as well as any other dietary restrictions our guests had. The set up for cocktail hour was perfect with the various stations and the passed appetizers. Our guests had so much fun at the cocktail hour that it was hard to get everyone to move into the ballroom. The ballroom set up was spectacular with the roaring fire and the glittering chandeliers. Our guests also had the option of going outside where we had fire pits set up, and they loved it despite it being so cold. The entire staff at the Ryland was impeccable. Daniel, our maitre’d, and Angela, our bridal attendant, were incredibly organized, attentive, and kind. The Ryland Inn absolutely exceeded our expectations and helped us have the most perfect wedding reception we could have ever imagined!

Our Perfect Wedding!

The Ryland Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we toured the Ryland Inn, we knew we wanted to have our wedding here. My husband and I had our wedding in the grand ballroom on 12.02.22 and were blown away by the whole team at the Ryland Inn. Lara, our event planner was there for us every step of the way through the planning process. She was there to answer any questions we had helped us personalize every aspect of our wedding day. My bridal attendant was extremely helpful, making sure we were okay throughout the night, helping me with my dress and bringing us food upstairs so we could have a quiet moment to ourselves after the ceremony. Billie and her team went above and beyond throughout the night to make our guests feel welcome. From the moment they arrived our guests felt welcomed, they were greeted with warm apple cider while they waited for the ceremony to start. We have received countless compliments on the food, especially during cocktail hour. The ability to customize the menu throughout the night allowed us to ensure all of our guests had food options they would enjoy. Our parents were also blown away by their attention to detail. Billie and her team ensured our parents were well taken care of throughout the night which included bring them plates of certain cocktail hour stations to their tables so they didn't have to get up. The popcorn at the end of the night was the perfect send off for our guests on their way out. I couldn't be happier with our choice to have our wedding at the Ryland Inn.

Wedding of our dreams!

Me and my husband had our wedding in the Coach House earlier this month and it was the most beautiful day! We are so happy that we chose The Ryland Inn to celebrate one of the best days of our lives. Our family and friends kept commenting on how unique and beautiful the space was. We didn't want a typical ballroom wedding, and we knew that the Coach House was the perfect venue from the first time we toured the property. The food was absolutely delicious and the customer service from the moment we set our date was second-to-none. Samantha Lipman, our event stylist, was so wonderful to work with and seamlessly executed the event according to our vision. She was always so responsive, attentive, and helpful! The whole process was so personalized from start to finish and the entire staff truly brought our vision to life. We are so grateful to The Ryland Inn for making this the wedding of our dreams!

The Perfect Wedding Venue!

We had an absolutely perfect wedding day part 2 at the Ryland Inn. Danielle worked closely with us every step of the way, from postponing our wedding due to covid to helping everything look perfect the day of. Everyone at the Ryland truly thinks of every little detail - I’m not kidding when I say there was not a single thing that went wrong that day. I loved how our Maitre D brought us in to the grand ballroom right towards the end of cocktail hour to take a moment and just soak in the gorgeous final setup before they opened the doors to everyone. My bridal attendant was extremely helpful the whole day, helping to carry my train and flowers, and then bringing my husband and I a little bit of each appetizer in the private room upstairs right after the ceremony. This allowed us to take a moment to breathe and enjoy all of the delicious food before heading down to mingle with all of our guests. The food was AMAZING!! It was one of the biggest reasons we booked the venue and it exceeded our expectations - the passed apps, all of the appetizer food stations, the entrees… so so delicious. And finally the venue itself is just beautiful - we got married in the grand ballroom, and we had fairly simple decorations because the space just speaks for itself. We cannot thank everyone at the Ryland enough for our perfect day!

Wedding of Our Dreams!

We were married on December 12, 2021 at the Grand Ballroom at the Ryland Inn. Our wedding was out of this world! The staff was so kind and helpful - our bridal attendant was so wonderful and sweet. The waiters and bartenders were wonderful and danced with us at the end of the night! The food was incredible and all the staff put me at ease. All our guests were happy with the food and thought the Ryland was the most beautiful spot for a wedding!

12/3/21 Wedding

We got married this past Friday 12/3/21 and everything was absolutely perfect. We made a game day decision to have our ceremony outside and it was gorgeous, with the fire pits going and an incredible background in the grand ballroom windows. Planning was such an ease with Danielle, who was available whenever we needed her and answered every question promptly and detailed. Service and food was amazing and we cannot thank Clovis and Sydney enough for their amazing hospitality! Our guests are raving about them! Any couple looking for a romantic and elegant space with top notch food and service, look no further than the Ryland Inn!

Best Wedding Ever!!!

We had the most incredible wedding at the Ryland Inn!!! We fell in love with the decor and the gorgeous grand ballroom as soon as we stepped inside. It has the most cozy, romantic, and elegant style that was just perfect for our fall wedding. The fireplace is stunning and made such a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, I was actually happy it was moved inside due to rain. The food and drinks at the Ryland Inn are INCREDIBLE!!! The tasting was our favorite wedding planning event by far and we were able to bring all of our parents along which they loved. I worked with Lara throughout the entire planning process and she was great! She is very detail oriented and always answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. Our maître d Daniel was very attentive and made sure we and our VIP guests were happy and well fed throughout the night. My dad is still talking about how helpful he was! My bridal attendant, Toni, went above and beyond the entire day! She held my dress through hundreds of very rainy photos, wiped my tears seconds before walking down the aisle, and even gave me a foot massage before changing my shoes during the reception. She made me feel like a queen the whole day! My guests cannot stop talking about how amazing the food and service were at the Ryland Inn. The venue is stunning, food is the best, and the staff creates the perfect experience!!!

Perfect Wedding Venue!

We got married on August 21, 2021 at the Coach House at the Ryland Inn. The Ryland Inn is the absolute perfect wedding venue - they truly know how to make a wedding run smoothly from start to finish. We worked with Danielle as our memorymaker - she was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and responsive throughout our planning process. The Ryland Inn provides an amazing food experience, everything served from the cocktails, to passed hors devours, to dinner and dessert - was second to none. The grounds provide a scenic background for photos. We held our wedding in the Coach House, with the ceremony on the lawn. Everything was meticulously planned and ran smoothly. The venue also has multiple spaces for getting ready - we used the Hayloft Bridal Cottage which was a perfect space for 10 ladies to get hair and makeup done that morning. The Ryland Inn provided a butler for the bridal cottage in addition to a bridal attendant, a maitre-d, and numerous servers, bartenders, and other staff. The venue spaces are updated and fresh while still providing a rustic-elegance experience for guests. The location of the venue is convenient to many hotels and local restaurants.

A Magical Day!

My wife and I got married at the Ryland in this past weekend, and it was truly a magical day. The ceremony was absolutely stunning, and the cocktail hour and reception were filled with fantastic food and even better service.

Some highlights for anyone not convinced to choose the Ryland:

-Billie: She made sure that everything was perfect, and also managed to ensure that we were not worried about anything and kept us totally calm. When we were worried about the weather, she sat down and explained to us how the Ryland Inn staff uses three different apps to track the weather in order to make an informed decision about whether or not we could set up our ceremony outdoors. Her demeanor totally calmed us down, and her plan worked out perfectly.

-Sam: She worked tirelessly with us through the planning process, always put our wants/needs at the forefront, and was willing to offer suggestions when we needed them in a way that was truly helpful instead of overbearing. She is also simultaneously fun and no-nonsense. You'll have a blast talking to her, and she will also make sure everything gets done (and gets done right). Sam promised us the wedding of our dreams, and she absolutely delivered.

-Toni: I didn't know what to expect from a bridal attendant, but I never even could have dreamed up someone this attentive! My wife and I swear she could read both of our minds; she was always there with whatever we needed exactly when she needed it. Toni was also there for all members of the bridal party and made sure everyone was at ease. She's also a great dancer and a ton of fun - all of our guests loved her!

-Clovis: We specifically requested Clovis to be part of our wait staff because of his energy and personality. He made everyone feel at ease and provided great service while also creating a more fun environment for all of our guests.

-Aja: She was behind-the-scenes the day of our wedding, making sure things ran smoothly, and they sure did! She was also so kind and made the day stress-free. I actually wish we had gotten to work more with her throughout the whole process, so I would suggest asking for her!

Beautiful Venue, Attentive Staff, Fantastic Food!

Absolutely perfect is the best way to describe our experience having a wedding at the Ryland Inn! The Ryland Inn was the only venue we looked at and after our tour with Sam, I knew this was where I wanted to have my wedding. Sam was my Event Stylist/Memory Maker and I could not have asked for a better point of contact. She is incredibly kind, responsive, and flexible. She was there to answer my questions over my 20 months of planning and made adjustments for me even after our final details meeting! The entire day/night was flawless because of the staff at the Ryland. Many of our guests commented about how great the service was - drinks never empty, napkins never not refolded, new utensils in hand within seconds if one was dropped, etc. Special shoutouts to Daniel, our Maitre D, Maria, our Bridal Attendant, and Clovis, one of the servers! All day/night we felt so taken care of and anything we needed they took care of for us. In addition to the service, the food was INCREDIBLE. From drinks when guests arrived before our ceremony, to cocktail hour, through dinner, and including our Jersey Boardwalk dessert station and donut wall, the food was outstanding! Sam/The Ryland Inn even put together a special plate for my fiance for dinner as he is a VERY PICKY eater. We rented the Kimbelwick House and the Groom’s Cottage on the property to get ready and stay overnight. The concierge, Tim, was great about responding to any questions and requests. It was great being able to relax the day of while getting hair/makeup done before our first look and ceremony!

The Ryland Inn was a dream to work with and our day was seamless, stress free, and truly perfect! I couldn’t have asked for more and would recommend them 100 times over to anyone looking for a rustic, romantic, and elegant wedding!

Coach House Wedding 7/31/21

I do not have any words to truly describe how wonderful our experience was with the Ryland Inn. Because our wedding was originally scheduled in 2020, we had to postpone our wedding 3 times. Each time the Ryland was extremely accommodating and they went above and beyond to ensure that our stress was alleviated. Michelle was absolutely incredible and helped us navigate our postponements and gave suggestions that helped us make decisions quickly and efficiently.

Our final wedding date was 7/31/21 and it was absolutely incredible. Sam Lipman helped us get ready for the day and was there through the million questions I asked her as we were getting close to the day. Everything associated with the wedding went flawlessly due to the amazing staff at the Ryland. The food was absolutely amazing and so many of our guests raved about the food and how it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. I also have to give a huge shout out to all the staff at the Ryland. The wait staff was incredible and our guests did not even need to get up to go to the bar themselves when at the table as the staff was so attentive. Even when one of our guests dropped a glass that shattered on the dance floor, the staff was there within seconds cleaning it up. I want to give a special shout out to Asha who was with me during the entire night including fixing my gown and the Clovis who gave us suggestions on the set up of our tables and was an amazing wait staff. Some of our guests came up to specifically talk to us about how Clovis was so personable and went above and beyond.

The venue, staff, and grounds exceeded our expectations and made our day absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend the Ryland to anyone looking for a seamless, stress free, and absolutely beautiful venue.

The Ryland Inn is a dream!!!

This was the first and only venue we looked at and upon stepping into the ballroom, I knew it was the one!! While we did have to postpone a full year due to covid, our day ended up being absolutely perfect!! The Ryland truly has a first class team from your event stylist to the wait staff. Everyone is so professional, helpful, flexible, and does everything in their power to make your dream wedding day a reality. I would not have gotten thru wedding planning if it wasn't for Lara. She went above and beyond in all aspects and made me feel like I was the only wedding she was working on, when I knew there had to have been a ton. From the ceremony, to reception to our after party the day went flawless! Everyone was gushing over the beautiful space and the food! I still have guests who can't stop talking about the mac and cheese we had at our cocktail hour. We also rented all 3 cottages on the property to get ready in and to stay over night which was so convenient! The concierge Tom was awesome and beyond helpful. He even jumped in to help my mother in law on the phone with step by step directions who got lost driving to the venue. Overall the Ryland Inn is amazing and we are soooo happy we got to finally have our special day there! Highly recommend for any couple looking for your not so typical catering hall venue with first class food, staff, and ambiance. It fit our rustic, romantic elegance vibe of a wedding to a tee!

The perfect venue

For reference, we got married in the Ballroom and got ready at the Kimblewick house. My experience with the Ryland was nothing short of perfect. If you’re a current Ryland bride, stay excited because you’re in for such a magical day! First of all, the venue is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. But the staff is what makes that place! To start, Samantha Lipman is one of the greatest people I’ve ever met. She is so organized, professional, respectful and kicks ass at her job. I am an extreme Type-A.. and Sam was reading my mind before I even had to ask. She was in clear communication with my husband and I prior to the wedding. She was very personable and got me so excited about everything. We were scheduled to have our rehearsal dinner in the upstairs room of the Ryland. However, my husband’s grandma had a major heart attack prior to the wedding and we were afraid she would not be able to make it up the stairs. The Ryland brainstormed and put together the most beautiful rehearsal dinner at the Kimblewick house for us. Leo, our waiter, was GREAT! He made sure all of the guests had exactly what they needed and was very attentive. When we headed to welcome drinks, he stayed back to clean up. He left us a note about how he stocked the fridge with my favorite drink and that he had so much fun that he requested to work our wedding the next night. Ted, the attendant of the Kimblewick house, was also amazing and so friendly. We ordered high tea the morning of. Chef Christopher let me alter the menu of high tea to my preferences and it was such a special way to start the day. The wait staff was SO PERSONABLE and attentive. My husband and his family have owned high end catering companies. They have high expectations. They appreciated that the food for each table came out all at once, so no one was waiting. Also – after the ceremony, when we walked from the ceremony space into the building for cocktail hour.. the waiters all line up with trays of our signature drinks, red wine, white wine and beer. So as guests walked into the building, they could easily grab a drink without a long line at the bar. AND THE FOOD… OMG. They say as the bride and groom you don’t really eat at your wedding.. my husband and I devoured every bite. The guests were raving about the food all night. I felt like a true princess. I was completely taken care of. Anything I needed, Sam, the Maitred or the bridal attendant, were there. The next morning, we returned to the Ryland to pick up our stuff and it was all neatly boxed up and put away waiting for us. They were amazing, from start to finish. The staff, the food, the beauty of the venue.. it is the most perfect place to get married.

Our dream wedding!!

My husband and I just got married at Ryland and we can’t say enough about how perfect our experience was! First of all, we couldn’t have gotten luckier with Sam as our event coordinator. We spoke with several venues prior to locking in a date and part of the reason we booked Ryland is because we felt like we were in the best hands with Sam! After having to postpone our original date, Danielle made sure things went as seamlessly as possible, and when our new date finally arrived Sam and her team went above and beyond for us! Working with people who love what they do makes all the difference; we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!!!

First-class experience!

If you are looking for an elegant and classy wedding venue, look no further! The Ryland Inn is truly a first-class venue. Its rustic yet elegant aesthetic paired with delectable farm-to-table food is unmatched by other local venues. The entire team at The Ryland Inn (Lara, Danielle, Michelle, Donna, David, Chef Chris, Kimberly, etc.) was a true pleasure to work with from the moment we booked in 2018 all the way to saying goodbye as we boarded our hotel shuttle at the end of our wedding night. Our guests could not say enough about the incredible serving staff ("The service was amazing! Our server was so attentive and personable!"). Despite dealing with the pandemic and three postponements, we eventually had the PERFECT wedding day that was absolutely worth the wait!

Our Dream Wedding

The second we walked into the Coach House, we knew this was the venue for us. Michelle greeted us and stole our hearts. She was our hype girl for almost 3 years, as we had to unfortunately postpone an entire year due to the pandemic. The Ryland Inn was absolutely incredible in accommodating our every need as we had to make some of the toughest decisions during this planning process. The tasting was incredible and assured us just how amazing the food was going to be. Danielle worked with us the weeks leading up to our big day and she didn’t skip a beat. She had everything perfectly set up and everything ran like clockwork. Aja took care of us throughout the night to ensure that we had everything we needed. The entire team was remarkable and our guests recognized their passion and professionalism. We truly felt like we had the best venue, down to the service, food and accommodations. We hope that we can go to the Ryland Inn for someone else’s wedding so we can experience the venue as a guest. We highly recommend the Ryland Inn and all their amazing services. What a wonderful experience.

Bride & Groom

Where to begin? Looking for a venue that felt like my husband and I was a little difficult, as we really are not a "ballroom or barn" type couple. I happened upon The Ryland Inn by chance and made an appt. to visit it. This was the first place we were going to look at, my now husband had to work so my parents and I went and I absolutely fell in love with the grounds and the space. I called my husband and told him all about it and that was it we booked that day. Lara was our wedding coordinator and we could not have asked for anyone better. Lara answered any questions we had and honestly we didn't have too many because she literally took care of everything that we didn't have too many unanswered questions. The wedding tasting was pretty much a mini wedding and allowed you to really understand the quality of food they will be serving. Food was important to us and the fact that during the tasting the chef explains the farm to table dishes was a bonus to us. The day of our wedding we were so excited, Lara coordinated all our vendors so all we had to do was show up and enjoy our day. My bridal attendant Toni was a star! Toni goes above and beyond not only for her bride but for the groom, our family, and really our guests, you know and feel just how much she loves what she does and I could not have asked for anything more. Kat and the wait staff what can I say... Amazing! I can not say enough, everyone of our guests and I truly mean everyone came up to either myself, my husband, or our parents to tell us just how much they loved the entire staff. Impeccable is actually the word we had heard over and over again and we could not agree more. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts you made our wedding day the most memorable day ever and its so amazing to continue to hear from guests just how much fun they had and just how amazing the staff and venue were. Mother of the Bride

From the very first time we visited Ryland Inn, our daughter knew it was just what she was looking for. Not a ballroom, not a barn. Lara was our contact person/event coordinator. She did an excellent job of keeping in touch, coordinating all the various vendors, and making sure everything we envisioned happened. Lara also was able to make suggestions based on her extensive experience that wound up working better than our original ideas. She was always professional, respectful, and never tried to upsell options. We felt that she had her finger on the pulse and everything went without a hitch.
Toni was my daughter's bridal attendant assigned by Ryland and she was on top of everything, from helping the bride dress,making sure both the bride and the groom had what they needed, making sure they had sometime to just breathe and be together, and made sure they ate. And, the part we loved best--she joined us on the dance floor!
The bartenders and wait staff were on point. Also joined in on the dance floor!
Food was perfect, set-up was perfect, the day was perfect.
We did opt to rent farmhouse tables and chairs from The Daylily Group as we thought it reflected the ambiance of the Coach House.
It would be a mistake though to call this a well-oiled machine, because that conjures up "wedding mill' .
Far from it, a wedding at the Ryland Inn is more like a fine-tuned orchestra.

We just got married in The Coach House at The Ryland Inn and it truly was an amazing experience.

We were looking for a venue that had a “rustic/chic/barn/Hudson Valley” feel, but with all the amenities of a more upscale venue, near reliable accommodations, and more easily accessible to a New Jersey and NYC crowd. The Coach House checked all the boxes.

Our wedding night was full of great food, amazing ambience, and perfect acoustics for music & speeches.
Note: By moving the dance floor into the “Silo Bar” area of the Coach House, we were able to very comfortably accommodate close to 200 people for a seated reception.

Special thanks to event stylist Michelle Ross, whose ability to navigate the obstacles and rise to all the challenges that came her way is unsurpassed. Her patience and flexibility meant such a great deal to us and our families, and it’s no secret that Michelle undoubtedly went above and beyond to ensure all our concerns and needs were addressed. She truly showed grace and poise throughout this entire process, and we have the utmost respect for her and the entire Ryland Inn/Coach House Team’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Special shout out to Chef Christopher Albrecht, who worked closely with us to design a deliciously unique experience, and to our wonderful Maitre D’, Cat, who was able to execute our unique flow/floor plan flawlessly.

Our Dream Wedding!

Wow. Where to even begin. Our experience with the Ryland from beginning to end was exceptional. We booked their gorgeous Coach House space in December 2018 and were married in February 2020. We worked primarily with our coordinator, Lara Nestler through the planning. Lara is so sweet and incredibly good at what she does. She created a vision for us and helped execute it to a T. She worked hard to make sure we had our dream wedding all while staying within our budget and for that, we are grateful. Our bridal attendant, Tawny, is an actual super hero. She was by our side all night taking care of every tiny detail and need, sometimes without us even asking - it’s like she has some sort of bridal telepathy. Our guests told us multiple times that our wedding was the nicest they’d ever been to and that the food was out of this world. The Ryland takes care of EVERYTHING for you. If you’re a naturally anxious worrier like myself, you would be making a huge mistake not to book this venue. I’m 1000% satisfied!

Absolute Perfection!

My daughter was married last month (9/15/19) and we held the reception in the Grand Ballroom at the Ryland Inn. We had worked with Danielle (who was later promoted to General Manager, and deservedly so!) to plan the event and she had reassured us that everything would go smoothly and we would be able to truly enjoy the evening. Well, she totally delivered on that promise! The staff was truly phenomenal from start to finish. The grand ballroom looked spectacular! Danielle had every detail covered (from flower and candle placements, to linens and lighting, etc) and Daniel, our maitre d', was friendly, professional, and completely on top of things...diligently following up on any request. Tawny, my daughter's bridal attendant, was amazing...bubbly and attentive and helpful every step of the way! Hats off to the chef and his staff...the food was absolutely fabulous! Cocktail hour was amazing, each dinner entree was delectable and beautifully presented, and dessert offered so many savory treats! The Ryland Inn operates like a well-oiled machine...the staff provided flawless, efficient, and cheerful service throughout the evening and our guests are still raving about how spectacular the evening was! My husband and I were looking for a venue that was unique! We came across the Coach House during an internet search and scheduled an appointment quickly after to setup a tour. We met with Michelle and we were provided with so much information and felt very comfortable with Michelle. We booked the Coach House! The whole process was very well organized. The whole wedding day was absolutely amazing! We booked the cottage which was a lifesaver for getting ready, and storing our belongings. My bridal attendant, Tonee, was great! Always around to refill our drinks, fluff my dress, bring our bouquets and even danced with us! Kat and her serving staff were excellent. The whole day was amazing and not one thing went wrong. Look no further for the perfect wedding venue!

From the moment we first visited the Ryland Inn, we were sold! The fireplace in the Coach House was absolutely stunning and the option for both of our families to stay on the property the weekend of our wedding made it a no brainer. It really checked off all the boxes we had when we went to visit venues. Our coordinator, Lara, did an awesome job helping plan leading up to our wedding day and she was so patient with all of our questions - we really appreciated it! Our bridal attendant, Tawny, was also incredible! She was always by our side and ready to help us with something before we even knew we needed it! The best wedding venue & staff! Check this place out!

Amazing in every way. From the start of the planning process, Lara was incredible to work with. The Coach House had the perfect vibe that we were looking for and because we booked a bit last minute, the Ryland was able to accommodate a 100 person minimum. The day of staff was better than we could have hoped for. Tani (sorry if the spelling is wrong) was the best bridal attendant a couple could ask for! She took great care of Kevin and I including grabbing him a drink to calm his nerves during our first look, helping me through pictures, and she was prepared with her cute fanny pack to accommodate any requests that you had. She has a great personality and helped keep our guests on the dance floor. Cat was our Maitre D and executed everything from beginning to end so beautifully. You can tell the team at the Ryland Inn loves what they do. Our guests raved about the food and on top of this, even mentioned that the team and staff were incredible. Thrilled with The Ryland Inn

We had the most beautiful wedding at The Ryland Inn Coach House, thanks to their amazing staff and directors! We were so lucky to have worked with Lara from day one to plan our special day. She was so professional, compassionate, and kind! She went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. Our day-of team at the Ryland Inn was amazing- the guests were raving about them all night (shout out to Tawny and Kat-- our Maitre' D and Bridal Assistant who are absolute rockstars)! Our guests could not get over the stellar customer service from everyone at our wedding. We did not have to worry about anything day-of, and that was a huge relief! The venue is gorgeous and the food is amazing. They are very willing to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions. Ryland Inn Coach House

We had our wedding at the Ryland Inn Coach House in early May and it was amazing! The venue is so beautiful and the Coach House has such a charm to it. Additionally the food is amazing, above and beyond your standard wedding fare, we got so many compliments from our guests. When we looked back at the wedding the next day we were shocked how smoothly everything went (if anything went wrong we had no clue!) which made our day that much better. I would highly recommend booking the Ryland Inn for your wedding, it was worth every penny!

Best Day Ever!

The Ryland Inn was the dream wedding I have always wanted! To say everything was perfect is an understatement. We were in the main ballroom which was absolutely stunning, and we had more than enough room to dance and walk around with around 200 guests. Have the outside was so nice and the weather made it a great place to cool off from all of the dancing! Having the ceremony outside was so beautiful also, and the carriage house where the bridal party waited was perfect. Danielle, the general manager, was so amazing! She helped us every step of the way of the wedding process, and we could not be more grateful. She truly made our day so special! Lastly, the food was so freaking good! We still have guests saying it was the best cocktail hour they have ever been to!

Fairytale Wedding!

I had my heart set on a rustic-themed wedding venue, or even a barn. We stumbled upon The Ryland Inn while we were up the road looking at another Landmark venue. The second we stepped foot in The Coach House at The Ryland Inn, I was in awe of the gorgeously rustic, yet elegant setting. The fireplace and the large overhead lights were amazing! Before I could even get the words out of my mouth, my fiancé-at-the-time knew that this would be our wedding venue! We booked the space that day! It was just that perfect! We worked with Lara through the whole wedding-planning process and she was more than helpful and responded to every question that we had along the way. And oh my gosh, two words: The tasting! When we were invited to sample the food choices that were being offered on the “winter menu” and the options for “signature drinks,” nothing could have prepared us for how amazing this night would be! They Ryland Inn mimicked an actual wedding day, meaning that there was a full cocktail hour, where you (and up to four guests) are able to taste the food, drinks, & “station upgrades” that you will be selecting for your event. Then it was sit-down style where you were able to sample a full serving of every single salad and entrée option that was offered! There were 13 entrée choices alone! Needless to say, we left very stuffed and extremely impressed! We choose to have our Rehearsal Dinner on the property as well and everything with that was just as amazing! Ted was of great assistance to my bridal party and I the day of the wedding while we were getting ready and constantly came back to the Bridal Cottage with whatever we needed! They Ryland Inn even provided gluten-free breakfast options for my one bridesmaid with an allergy. I highly recommend reserving the Bridal Cottage so that you can relax and get ready on the premises the day of the wedding. It also gave my husband and I a chance to take a quick twenty-minute break following our ceremony to “take it all in” and to enjoy food from all of our various food stations that were being offered at the cocktail hour, before we met up to greet our guests. The food and drinks on the night of the wedding were top-notch and we received endless compliments from everyone. The farm-to-table food was very fresh and delicious and could accommodate individuals with allergies. My bridal attendant was Tottie and she was beyond attentive on the day of the wedding, carrying the train of my dress around during pictures and getting me anything and everything I needed, including my comfy pair of shoes to wear. I could not say enough nice things about everything and everyone that contributed to make our wedding day (2/16/19) so magical and truly a real-life fairytale!

Beautiful Reception - Amazing Service

When me and my husband visited the Ryland Inn, we knew it was perfect. We still went and visited other venues, but nothing really compared. We got married in the Grand Ballroom. The ceremony was inside, since it was raining outside, and it was just beautiful with the fireplace. After we took pictures, they brought me into the room again once they had set up the reception to make sure I liked how everything was set up - which I did. The room was beautiful! The food was delicious too. Also, the bridal attendant was with me the whole night. She would even put cold cloths on my neck after spent time dancing to help cool me down. She really made sure me and my husband were comfortable and happy the whole day and evening. The maitre d' and event coordinator, Lara, were also great the whole day and kept everything running smoothly. Lara was also great when we were planning the wedding and always kept in good contact with us. Basically, the venue and the staff really helped make the whole day perfect!

Worth every penny!

I worked directly with Danielle Gomez to plan my wedding day and she was a true gem. She was always on the ball, which matched my crazy type A personality. The food was the BEST and when your Italian relatives compliment the meal (this is huge)!. Also, our Maître D', Daniel and Bridal Attendant, Tonya went above and beyond. Daniel made sure my parents and in-laws were taken care of the entire day and Tonya never left my side. She was my GIRL! Did I mention she gave me a foot rub at the end of my wedding because I was the crazy bride that didn’t take my Choos off once the entire day. Amazing food, even better staff !!

Our wedding at The Ryland Inn was a dream come true! We had dinner here a few years ago and from that moment we knew we’d want to get married here. It’s everything we ever wanted from the beautiful grand ballroom with it’s amazing fireplace to the delicious farm to table food. Our coordinator was Lara and she was great and so helpful throughout the whole process. The rest of the Ryland Inn team was truly amazing! The day before the wedding, we went to drop off some items and Daniel (the maitre d’) was already prepping the space for our wedding. He talked us through the space and based on his recommendations, we were able to make some small tweaks to the layout which made us feel that much more special. On the day of, Daniel and the rest of the Ryland Inn team made sure the event was so smooth. So many of our guests were impressed by the waitstaff and their attentiveness! Billie, our bridal attendant, was AMAZING and surpassed our expectations! She was so helpful and would anticipate anything we needed before we even asked. Overall, our experience at the Ryland Inn was really great and we would highly recommend it!

From the moment we got engaged to the moment we got married we knew that The Ryland Inn was the venue for us. Lara was our coordinator and couldn't have been more helpful. She made the entire process so easy and it also didn't suck to have an excuse to have dinner there a couple times during the planning. The food was and is amazing there - total game changer compared to some other weddings we have been to. The service was perfect the night of #TawnyIsTheBest. Amazing place, amazing night!!

My fiancé and I both grew up in NJ and it was important to us to find a spot that represented where we were from The Ryland Inn was exactly what we were looking for. The old world equestrian theme of the building is offset inside by the grandeur of the incredible ballroom where we had a fire blazing for my Christmas wedding and garlands strung from the elegant chandeliers. The space was the perfect size, with the cocktail hour space giving guests a reprieve from the dance floor to grab another drink or take advantage of our vintage photo booth. Beyond that, the room that guests are first welcomed into after the ceremony is cozy and inviting, yet spacious and elegant. With a leather couch for seating and decor that reminds you of a gorgeous ski lodge or antique filled inn, the entire aesthetic from room to room perfectly encapsulated the theme of my holiday wedding. The s’mores out by the fire pits next to a GIANT lit Christmas tree were incredible, the lighting of the ballroom and the extra space for additional stations were just more positives on top of an already perfect evening. Danielle is attentive and kind, clearly looking out for you and ensuring that you have the best night of your life. You couldn’t be in better hands.

Beautiful, Memorable, Amazing !

From the first time we stepped foot on the Ryland Inn's property and went into the Grand Ballroom, we knew this was our venue! We worked with Danielle, who was amazing & so helpful throughout the process. She made sure to go above & beyond to make our wedding day prefect & memorable. The space at the Ryland Inn is just incredible. The grounds are beautiful and the decorations that go along with the seasons/holiday are gorgeous. The ballroom is breathtaking, giving you the feeling of romantic yet rustic. The ballroom also displays large ceilings, an amazing brick fireplace, lovely chandeliers, lots of space, and natural light. The outdoor area with the fire pits, built in seating, & patio bar bring everything together. Our guests enjoyed s'mores by the fire as well as cigars. The pictures that our photographer took, both inside & outside, are amazing. Our bridal attendant & maître d were amazing & made sure that every detail was perfect, we enjoyed the night, were comfortable, ate enough, & everything in between. They definitely helped the night go smoothly & it was very enjoyable. The staff did an awesome job at making sure everyone was happy & they all made sure to congratulate us. We got so many positive comments about the staff, venue, food & drinks throughout the night and the next day... people are still talking about it all! The food & drinks were excellent, thanks to the awesome chefs & bartenders! We loved that we were able to pick a signature drink. The cocktail hour is amazing...there is wide variety of food & stations offered during this time. The sit down dinner is also excellent, we love the farm-to-table cuisine. If you haven't looked at the Ryland Inn, I highly recommend you do so. Do not hesitate to book this venue...you will not be disappointed!

Fairytale Wedding

My daughter was married at The Ryland Inn on December 2, 2018 and we were blown away by how magical and perfect the wedding was! The wedding took place in the main ballroom - and I describe it as understated elegance, romantic, rustic and jaw dropping beautiful! The staff goes above and beyond and are fully attentive to all guests. The food is creative, delicious and beautifully presented. Danielle Gomez is the memory maker who made all of my daughter's dreams come true. She was responsive throughout the entire year of planning and was easy to work with from start to finish. She worked with us on everything and even helped when it came to creating our own unique station during cocktail hour. We cannot recommend The Ryland Inn enough!!!

Ah-maz-ing!

First thing is first. Danielle is amazing & a true professional. Being that I am in sales and always concerning myself with the customer; I can assure you Danielle goes above and beyond. She made me comfortable through the entire process and same with my husband. I cannot thank her enough for all the things she does (even without you knowing she's doing them). The coach house is absolutely magical. You barely need to decorate because the space is just unbelievable. The pictures I have of the venue inside & out from my photographer are just perfection!! Everyone that we encountered who work for the Ryland was pleasant & accommodating. We had so many great reviews on the food as well! After going to the tasting & meeting the head chef - I knew our food was going to be amazing. We heard nothing but positive comments about the food! Do yourself a favor & put the short ribs in your selections for entrees! There were even some of our family & friends that couldn't believe there was a sit down dinner after the cocktail hour. I. AM. BLOWN. AWAY. -- THIS. PLACE. IS. PURE. MAGIC. Do yourself a favor & book this venue as soon as possible. You won't be disappointed!

We were married at The Ryland Inn in late July and could not have asked for a more wonderful venue to work with. Danielle, our coordinator, was warm and professional throughout the planning process. She offered insights that were incredibly helpful in designing an event that both made sense for our guests and was personalized to us and our tastes. Speaking of taste, the food at the Ryland is incredible, and any foodie couple should consider this venue for its fresh ingredients that come right from their backyard. On the day of the wedding, Danielle and her team were incredibly accommodating. They were especially wonderful in helping to keep our elderly grandparents comfortable, and even set up a table in the cocktail hour of the ballroom for a quieter dining experience for them. Also, the venue is stunning!

We are still on cloud nine from our wedding on July 1st in the Grand Ballroom. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! It truly was the wedding of our dreams. Danielle, Shayna, Daniel, and the entire Ryland Inn staff were absolutely wonderful.

Shayna, our bridal attendant, was the true rockstar of the day. She took care of everything for us. From making sure we stayed hydrated and cool while taking pictures, to getting us food, drinks and making sure everything was perfect during the entire night. Our photographer and videographer couldn’t believe that she kept bringing them water throughout the day too, they had never seen that much help from a bridal attendant before. She was incredible! We cannot speak more highly of her! She was beyond wonderful!

The ENTIRE Ryland Inn staff was incredible as well. We cannot get over that as we walked out after the ceremony, each staff member congratulated us and told me how beautiful I looked. We knew the service would be great, but everyone went above and beyond!

The food was out of this world. Each and every guest raved how wonderful the food was from cocktail hour to the s’mores at the end of the night!

Danielle made the planning process so easy for us! She was very knowledgeable and made sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds she made sure everything ran so smoothly. Danielle was absolutely amazing to work with!

We could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding! You will not be disappointed booking your wedding at The Ryland Inn!

The Ryland Inn fulfilled all of my wedding dreams! We trusted the Ryland Inn and booked the Coach House in the early stages of construction and WOW they did not disappoint! The Coach House is a beautiful, elegant barn (which is hard to find in the NJ/NY area). We worked with Lara throughout our wedding planning process and she was truly amazing! She was very responsive, helpful, friendly, and accommodating. She really helped us coordinate the logistics of our day. Of course, the food is so delicious!! We were planning on having the ceremony outside but had to move it inside because of the weather. However, that was actually the best decision because the ceremony was so gorgeous and beautiful in front of the fireplace! I absolutely, highly recommend the Ryland Inn!!

The Ryland Inn provided us with the wedding of our dreams. The day was even more perfect then I imagined it could be. We had our wedding in the Coach House ballroom in the beginning of May and the venue was the perfect location for a spring wedding. The Ryland Inn was the only wedding venue location we toured. We knew after visiting for the first time and meeting the staff that we needed to book it. Once you choose the venue, set your date quickly as their weekends fill up quickly! If you're willing to prolong the engagement to get the perfect date they are well work the wait to book with. The food is incredible (our guests are still talking about the risotto at the cocktail hour and its been over a month!), their staff is incredibly professional, and their scenery/décor is so beautiful you don't need decorations. My husband calls them the perfect mix of "rustic classy." Thank you to the incredible team here. We will be back for dinner every anniversary!!

My husband and I got married at Ryland Inn on September 8th, 2017. This venue is absolutely stunning!!! We knew from the moment we pulled up to this breathtaking location we’d be getting married here. What closed the deal for us was meeting their amazing coordinator Danielle. From the moment we met, we connected. She is so knowledgeable, passionate, kind and REAL. She made me feel as if I was the only bride she tended to throughout the 11 month process. We went through all the details from beginning to end. She was also very accommodating. I've had several events at numerous venues and Ryland is honestly number one in my book. Most places forget about you from the moment you give them a deposit to about 7 days before the event when the final count is due. However that is NOT the case with Ryland. Danielle was more than gracious. She would check in from time to time and always offer assistance and never once did she make me feel as if I was bothersome or being rushed. Mike, the bartender, is the absolute best. He wouldn't give up until he concocted a tasty and unique signature drink for our special day. So besides the staff being out of this world AH-mazing- the food is delicious. If you don't believe me swing by for dinner one night. The cuisine is fresh, flavorful, colorful and creative. Overall Ryland Inn truly makes getting married a seamless and wonderful experience. Their customer service is exceptional throughout the entire journey from start to finish. And when I say finish, I was honored to have Danielle hold my gown and wish me luck before I walked down the aisle to meet my husband. I promise Danielle and Ryland Inn will not disappoint!!!

Recently we hosted our daughter's wedding at the Ryland Inn and words cannot express adequately how perfect everything was. Danielle worked with us from day one and her attention to detail throughout the process was impeccable. Chef Albrecht was so attentive and receptive to our needs as several family members had a variety of different food allergies. The "rave reviews" from our guests continued throughout the evening regarding everything from the cocktail hour to the main meal to the attentiveness of the wait staff. Our Maitre 'd Daniel and our daughter's bridal attendant Donna could not have been any more helpful and attentive as well. The event ran as smoothly as possible and there is no comparison with the quality of the food. This venue and the employees deserve 10 stars!

We had the most amazing, perfect, beautiful wedding at the Ryland Inn on May 28th 2017. When we were looking for wedding venues we kept coming back to see the Ryland, and compared every place to it. It was obvious we had to have it here so we booked this venue two years in advance. Danielle was great every step of the planning process, she would get back to us in a timely manner and was always very clear and efficient in answering any questions. The day of the wedding Lisa, Emily, and Daniel were AMAZING!!!! They were so excited, kind, and helpful. Every single worry or need they had already covered. Our guests RAVED about the service for the entire night. We did pictures early before the ceremony that came out absolutely breathtaking. Everything went so smoothly (from the line up and processional, the live musicians getting set up, our decorations and flowers, to getting the bridal party food and drinks while we were doing photos during cocktail hour). The reception ballroom was out of a fairytale. I had a cuban cigar roller as a surprise for my husband and Daniel and Danielle made sure everything was set up for him. It started to pour rain during our cocktail hour but the guests were brought inside and no one even noticed the weather because inside the reception hall the staff made sure everyone was happy and having a great time. They even had a separate table in the side room for my grandparents to sit and have dinner because they were overwhelmed with the DJ speakers. Myself and multiple guests had many different dietary needs- all of which the staff bent over backwards to make sure were met. The food was absolutely amazing- guests were pulling us aside to compliment the chef all night. My only regret was that we didn't have more time! It was truly the perfect day, everyone is still talking about it! Everything was done PERFECTLY.

All I can say is WOW. We recently had our wedding at The Ryland Inn and they made our day beyond perfect - we didn't want it to end! Our guests could not get over how stunning the venue was and raved about the A+ service, attention to detail and professionalism of the entire staff. Also, the food! People were saying it was one of the best meals they've ever had from cocktail hour to entrees and dessert.

This place takes care of literally everything - down to helping us blow up 36" balloons we brought for photo props, setting up all of the items we brought to make every single table and nook look beautiful ( I work in events as part of my job and had been stressing over how they would know how to style everything and it looked insanely beautiful - these people have an amazing eye!), and not to mention bending over backwards to get my now husband and I anything we could possibly need or want! Our Maitre'd Daniel was beyond amazing - he kept everything running seamlessly throughout the evening and was checking on us the entire night. Beyond that, in all the commotion we forgot all of our cards+gifts at the end of the night (NOT the thing you want to leave behind!) and Daniel literally ran everything out to hand deliver it to us on the shuttle! This man is INCREDIBLE! A huge thank you also to Lisa, Donna, Emily and Amanda (who literally held my bouquet for me about every 5 seconds and was an angel!). Thank you also to Lara who was an incredible guide during the entire wedding planning process as well as on the day itself as well - Lara answered every single question that we and our families had and is amazing at keeping everyone cool, collected and organized on the day - not to mention her total professionalism and warm personality.

The Ryland Inn is worth every single penny - if you want a full TEAM of people who are amazing at what they do and cater to you 110% on your wedding day you have to book here! We will be forever grateful!

All I can say is Amazing...I am still in awe of what a fabulous evening we had celebrating Gene and Mark's marriage.

Danielle Gomez, our "Merry Maker" was the consummate professional from top to bottom. From our first introduction she treated us as honored guests and we continued to value all the guidance she offered along the way. She made every effort to make this venue the perfect "home" for Gene and Mark's wedding (not just a building with a grand ballroom) and it culminated into an incredible magical night!

The venue itself is spectacular but when we walked into the ballroom the evening of the wedding - it was absolutely jaw dropping! The tables were set to perfection with the beautiful centerpieces and candlelight and the fireplace with it's 3 foot flames, just added more glow to the amazing setting.

Thank you for ordering the perfect weather for our outdoor ceremony! It started as the sun was setting, and it was everything the "Boys" could ask for and more (just beautiful).

The cocktail reception was meticulously presented, the dinner was served hot and in a timely manner, and the food - OMG, this was art for the palette. Every single item was cooked to perfection - your chef is a credit to his profession. My guests are still talking about how stupendous the food was, especially the lobster!

Daniel, our Maitre D was spectacular. He ran the show in a calm and confident manner and truly allowed us to be guests at our own party. No details were overlooked and there was not one single moment of worry. Gene and Mark thought Donna (their attendant)was remarkable in every way. The staff was well trained, kind, polite and gracious to our guests.

Overall, just an excellent experience - we've been receiving phone calls and texts about "the best wedding ever" and how incredible they thought everything was.

Thank you again for being the perfect "Merry Maker" I hope Landmark Hospitality knows what a Gem you are!

The Ryland Inn was PERFECT for our wedding. It was formal with the perfect touch of rustic, homey elegance. Danielle helped my visions for the day come to life and really made our event feel unique and unlike any other with custom menus and drink choices. The staff blew us and our guests out of the water with over the top attentiveness and service... not to mention every single server/staff member wished us congratulations every time we walked by. Our wedding would not have been the same without the A++ treatment from The Ryland. It is not an inexpensive venue, but they don't cut corners and are definitely worth every penny,

There is not enough space in this box to sing the praises of The Ryland Inn and their staff. You can tell by any of the photos how gorgeous the venue is, but what you can't see is the absolutely unbelievable staff. They are so attentive and professional and accommodate your any request. The day of we were provided with champagne at every turn and anything we forgot or needed they were there to provide. Danielle was a joy to work with from day one. She answered all correspondence quickly, and dealt with any crazy requests with grace. This woman is a saint! They bent over backwards to perfect the traditional cookie table my family wanted and hand arranged hundreds of cookies into a spot where they normally wouldn't have any tables. Where she could have gotten annoyed or simply said no, she made a way to make it work! Anything you think you have to throw at them, they know how to deal with it. The food is superb and the service at the tables the night of was excellent. We had some picky people in our crowd and there were nothing but rave reviews. I really don't know how they do it! They make you feel like you are the only people they have ever thrown a wedding for. When they complete the new buildings on the property, it is going to get even better (if that is even possible).

I would give the Ryland Inn 10 stars instead of 5!

The property is so beautiful and I have to say that some of the photographer's photos are really stunning!! The opportunity for photo backgrounds are everywhere. For instance, since the wedding was in October, our family shots against the white fence with the huge tree in full color behind us, are beautiful. After the ceremony which was on the patio, there was a brief shower, and their photographer took them over to a pathway by the groom's cottage and the light was really perfect. I can't imagine a more charming place and more picturesque grounds! The ballroom is magnificent and when it was set for our guests it was really elegant but not pretentious. I was thrilled with the ambience and charm of it all! All of our family and so many of our guests could not stop raving about the food. I have a couple of friends who are a bit of "food snob" types and they were very impressed, which is a huge compliment to your chef. I'm so glad we chose the comfort foods since the ribs and mac'n'cheese were a huge hit! Everything was delicious.
Although, there were many of us who worked together to make our daughter's wedding a special and meaningful day...the wedding co-ordinator, Danielle was so over-the-top, all of us involved were really amazed by her! I think the best picture I have in my mind to describe how selfless she is and how she puts the couple first, is seeing her kick off her shoes and run from the field to the Inn to find umbrellas. I simply can't imagine anyone else doing that! Danielle is amazing...she is kind and detail oriented and follows through on every detail. She is a huge gift to the Inn and I couldn't speak more highly of her!
Honestly, I can assure you that if you choose the Ryland Inn to be where you celebrate your wedding, you will be thrilled!!!

Danielle Gomez and her team at The Ryland Inn were exceptional! We had an amazing experience at The Ryland Inn and are so happy we decided to get married there. The entire experience of planning our wedding, and our wedding day itself exceeded our expectations. The service, food and drinks are top notch and the venue is absolutely beautiful. Our wedding day was beyond perfect! Danielle was reliable, very responsive and full of great ideas for us. The Ryland Inn was absolutely magical. Before we were engaged, I saw photos of the site from a photographer and fell in love. The grounds are stunning. We worked with Lara and she was extremely helpful. She made everything so easy for us, I was never lost in the planning process and she answered all of our questions so promptly and thoroughly. I couldn’t image our day at another venue. We had a smaller wedding for the room (125, their minimum for a Friday) but it was set up so perfectly that it didn’t feel too small for the beautiful room. We were lucky enough to be able to utilize the outdoor space since the weather was great and the patio is amazing! The entire day was a fairytale thank you to the beautiful venue and their extremely professional and helpful employees. Thank you!

My new husband and I could not be happier with choosing the Ryland Inn to host our wedding last month. The entire staff, especially Danielle, and our Maitre d's, Donna and Emily, went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We planned to have an outdoor ceremony, but unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side. Danielle monitored it throughout the day and decided to set up the ballroom for the ceremony about 20 minutes before it was set to begin, just in case. We were so surprised with how on top of things she was and how smoothly everything went. We never had to worry about anything going wrong. We ended up with an indoor ceremony and it was honestly perfect. We now couldn’t picture having our ceremony outside! Our family and friends are still talking about how stunning the venue was, how delicious the food was and how great the service was. Donna and Emily were so amazing and very attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed/wanted the entire day/night. I also had an issue with my bustle and Danielle took the time (a good 15 minutes) to help me fix it, which I so appreciated! All in all, it was the most perfect day and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Ryland Inn to any couple looking to get married at a beautiful rustic/romantic venue in NJ.

The Ryland Inn was my dream venue, and I knew I wanted to have my wedding here from the moment I stepped in. Danielle was amazing to work with and the day-of staff were attentive, kind, and helpful. My whole family is still raving about the venue and how beautiful it is and how delicious the food is. My fiance and I are vegetarians, and the Ryland accommodated us and we were able to have a full vegetarian menu that was creative, unique, and delicious. It was the best day of my life and I have no regrets about choosing the Ryland as my venue. (Wedding date 12/19/15)

The Ryland Inn was one of two venues I looked at and after looking at the menu, the decision was easy - the decor, atmosphere, food and customer service here in unparalleled. Danielle is so organized and was a great point of contact! Our guests are still talking about how great their meals were. The staff on our actual wedding day were attentive, professional and a delight to be around. I have absolutely no regrets about this venue and wish I could relive it all over again. Truly an exceptional space.

I can't imagine getting married any where else. Our plan A was to get married outside on the back patio but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate the day of. We wound up having the ceremony in the grand ballroom, which was a fantastic alternative. They had the room flipped incredibly fast for the reception--it was really impressive. The food and service from start to finish was incredible. I strongly suggest using the grooms cottage and bridal suites. The day of attendant was extremely helpful as well--she put together plates of food for us to enjoy together right after the ceremony. If you are interested in the Ryland Inn definitely book early! We booked about a year and a half in advance and every weekend up to our date was already booked!

Even though it’s been nearly three weeks since my big day, I’m still hearing from friends and family that it was the perfect wedding. Of course the weather could not have been more beautiful, nor could the sunset have been more perfectly timed as I walked down the aisle. But the real star of the show was the magnificent Ryland Inn and the impeccable staff that keeps everything running so smoothly that even my event planner mother could actually let go and enjoy her daughter’s wedding.

Danielle was a joy to work with over the past 18 months, a true pro who enthusiastically planned and patiently responded to my frequent emails. I was so grateful for your calm presence throughout the process, but especially the day itself when I knew that you had it all under control. Carmen was a delight to work with as well – her attention to detail was comforting. Andrew came up with an awesome signature drink that everyone enjoyed, and my groom was particularly appreciative of his efforts in procuring those hard-to-get beers. The bartenders and wait staff were all outstanding, polished and pleasant throughout the night.

Guests continue to rave about the food, which looked as delicious as it tasted. The appetizer displays were picture-perfect, as were each and every one of the 170 dinner plates. I had expressed my concern ahead of time about undercooking the meat (which often happens at weddings), but the chef came through with filet mignon that many people said was the best they ever had. In fact, and not surprisingly, we’re still getting compliments about the food . . . with people making plans to return for dinner on their own.

Everything about the Ryland exudes class and sophistication, but with a warmth that makes you feel like family when you’re there.

Thank you Ryland Inn for the wedding of my dreams!

The Ryland Inn is the perfect venue is you are looking for something unique while still being able to take advantage of the amazing food and service of an amazing venue. The Ryland is NOT a "Jersey Ballroom Wedding". We met with Danielle while they were still putting the finishing touches on the Ryland - they had not yet hosted a wedding in the main ballroom and we were still certain this where we would celebrate our special day. Danielle was super easy to work with. Responsive to our questions, kind, and helped us to leave any worries at the door. Not only was Danielle amazing, but her team, especially, Carmen and the rest of their team provide service that I found to be unparalleled in the NJ wedding venue industry. Having attended many weddings, the service we received was well worth the price you pay at the Rylan. We had not a single worry about our day because every detail is attended to, even things you don't think about! Having our reception at the Ryland was the BEST decision we made when planning our wedding - the worst part about it is that it had to end. However, having your wedding at the Ryland means that you can celebrate your anniversary there every year which we fully intend to do.

Our wedding at the Ryland Inn was absolutely flawless. From the bridal suite and groomsmen cottage set ups to the beautiful courtyard ceremony location, the breathtaking reception hall to the delicious and varied cocktail hour and dinner selections, the service that defied expectations to the warmth and kindness exhibited by an extremely professional staff, it was all out of a dream. Admittedly, I am a pretty laid back woman that doesn't need much in terms of luxury, but when my mom suggested the Ryland Inn for my wedding, which is truly a perfect blend of rusticity and elegance, one visit sealed the deal. They accommodated our every request, including having an ungodly amount of Busch Light cans on hand for my Iowa-hillbilly groom and his people, for which I cannot express enough gratitude. Danielle, the events coordinator extraordinaire, was a true pleasure to work with. She is excellent at her job and is such a kind person! Carmen, the banquet captain, is sweet yet a really badass professional who really knows what she's doing. And last but not least at all was Amanda, the bridal attendant, who was so attentive to me and my husband that we begged her to come live with us after the wedding was all over. Our guests are still raving about the Ryland Inn, it was an absolutely perfect and stunning place for a wedding and reception!

The Ryland was exactly what we were looking for: a beautiful, clean, classic event space with incredible food, and amazing outdoor space. As a chef, I'd always sworn that I would never serve filet and salmon at my wedding, but once we tried the dishes at the Ryland, they were honestly the best I've ever eaten, and we couldn't NOT serve them!! We were completely catered to on the night of our event, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how much they loved the food and the service for weeks! In fact, the level of service at The Ryland was so incredible that when the entire town lost power on the day of our wedding, I had absolutely no idea. They ran our DJ's equipment and the kitchen/bar on generators, and I never even found out about the potential catastrophe until a week after the event. The staff completely went above and beyond the whole night; there wasn't a single request that they didn't bend over backwards to accommodate. (And to the one server who was passing out sparklers and ended up literally running in circles around us for five minutes even though that isn't even close to her job - you gave us the best photo of our whole night. THANK YOU!!!)

Ryland Inn is beautiful, classy, elegant.. food is amazing.. service is fantastic. I'm SO incredibly happy that i was able to have my wedding at this amazing venue… perfect mix of elegance and rustic touches. Every guest told me it was one of the best weddings they've been too.. that the food surprassed any wedding food they've had before. Our wedding day at the Ryland Inn was absolutely perfect. Danielle, who is their event planner, worked with all of our vendors and had everything set up perfectly. She was extremely accommodating from the moment we got their that day until the end of the night.

Donna, the maître de, stayed with me also from the moment I got there until the end of the night. She made sure I was relaxed, had food, had water, had anything I needed that day. She stayed positive and up beat the entire time, which had to be tough since she was with us for at least 10 hours!

The food, service, atmosphere, and everything else was amazing here. I completely recommend having your ceremony & reception at the Ryland Inn, you will not be disappointed and your guests will be stunned at how beautiful everything is!

I literally cannot stop raving about the Ryland Inn! I had my wedding there in October 2014 and the service, the food, the ambiance left nothing to be desired. I simply cannot do my experience justice in a written review. Not only is the ballroom gorgeous, Danielle and her staff provide the most elegant and magical experience. They are kind, sincere, responsive, and so accommodating - certainly the type of people you want to spend such a memorable day with! I have nothing but wonderful things to say - did I mention how DELICIOUS the food is - and wish I could experience it all over again!

Danielle walked us through some bumps in the road and helped us execute an outstanding event. The Ryland Inn is absolutely breathtaking! From the outside patio where our ceremony took place to the ballroom, I could not have been more thrilled with how beautiful the space was. It easily fit our group of 150 with a 7 piece band and a huge dance floor! My guests never left the dance floor for the entire reception, except to enjoy the great food! Although I could go on and on about the beauty of the venue, it is the people that really make the Ryland top notch! Danielle Gomez was wonderful to work with and someone who knows exactly what is best for you and her venue. Take my advice - Trust her! She will tell you everything you need to know in a "no bulls$it" kind of way which I sincerely appreciated being in the event industry myself. She will not try to sell you on an idea or an upgrade just for the profit. I knew I was in great hands and everything would be taken care of on the big day! The Maitre D, Daniel, and Bridal Attendants, Donna & Emily, certainly deserve a shout out too! They were fantastic! Danielle runs the ceremony for you and then Daniel, Donna, & Emily handle everything else for the REST of the night! They not only took care of myself and my new husband by always making sure we have fresh drinks, food, etc, but also our parents and all of our guests can't stop talking about how attentive and lovely they were to them. You really do feel quite special on your big day! They certainly know what they are doing at The Ryland Inn.

If I had one critique at all (and it is minor) it would be that during the tasting for our wedding, although our server was fantastic, we felt a bit "forgotten". The Manager on Duty for that evening was "too busy" to come over to talk to us, which was disheartening because we had some questions about the food offerings and pairings. Everything was absolutely delicious but when you make a point to do a tasting, it would be nice to have someone there to walk you through the offerings and take down your suggestions/changes.

Our Dream Day

The Ryland Inn runs a tight ship and it shows. Our wedding went off without a hitch. The event coordinators running that place are so thorough and amazing, nothing was left to chance. Ryland Inn - Ballroom

Ryland Inn was the first venue we visited. It was really the first one I noticed when looking at places online but I *really* had my heart set on an outdoor wedding. After trying to make that work but thinking July would be too hot, we just kept coming back to Ryland! We worked with Liza at first who was so patient, helpful and willing to try to move things around for our ceremony. She was very responsive to our needs. We were sad (and a little nervous!) when she switched positions, but then we got to work with Michelle, who was just as responsive and helpful. The Ryland Inn is very accommodating for any food allergy, insensitivity - basically you can customize the menu to your needs. We were very happy with the food during our tasting and the night of the wedding. The staff really does try to go above and beyond for you during your day. We had mini pies instead of cake and there were a few miscommunications in regards to that. Some tables were told about the pie station, others were not. We wanted an attendant there so it was less chaotic. But at the end of the day it seemed to work out okay -- and was nothing big enough to have an effect on our views of the Ryland. You'll definitely be taken care of and have a beautiful wedding here!

Hey now, hey now - this is what dreams are made of.

We got married in the ballroom at The Ryland Inn on 4.19.19, and really, the title says it all. This was the first venue we toured and we booked on the spot. I could not picture myself getting married anywhere else. We did all of our planning with Danielle, which was seamless and honestly downright easy. On the day of, everything went off without a hitch. I really didn't have to lift a finger at all. All of our guests raved about the service and the food, and the beauty of the Ryland in general. We have heard from many of our guests that said it is the most beautiful venue they've ever seen. I agree! They took great care of my husband and I that day. Every staff member we came into contact with was warm and genuinely excited for us, and they made sure we always had a full glass or plate. Loved having a full sampler platter from our cocktail hour brought upstairs after our ceremony so we didn't miss anything. The raw bar we added at the last minute was fantastic. I could keep going! If you're considering The Ryland Inn, know that you'll be in the best possible hands on your wedding day. It was no doubt the best decision we made, and I'm glad I trusted my gut and ended my venue search with this one.

Beautiful Venue

We booked the Ryland Inn site on scene because lets be honest we were running out of time and available dates with my husbands tight schedule for a wedding date but somehow they had an opening in both their spaces, the ballroom and the coachhouse. We ultimately went with the coachhouse (without it even being finished yet) because we loved the vision boards of the space, it was everything I ever imagined my wedding venue to look like. When it was all said and done the plans had changed a little bit leading it to not be exactly what I pictured, but with the pre-construction pricing we received I couldn't complain. Our day was beautiful. A few hiccups along the way but nothing our team couldn't fix.

I want to start off by saying this venue is absolutely gorgeous; all of our guests were wowed by the space and our photos came out beautiful. The staff did an excellent job on the details and service as well. We did have a hiccup at our reception in which the fire alarm went off right before entrees were to be served. Something I thought was out of anyone's control as we did have children there and the alarm that was pulled was (legally) uncovered with low placement on the wall. However we were outside for about 40 minutes while we waited for the volunteer fire department to come and give the ok to go back inside, and in speaking with them it was our understanding this was not the first time they've been there for a false alarm. We were given an extra hour at our reception which we were thankful for and was the right thing to do. Some of our guests noted that their entrees weren't hot as a result of the time outside, but others said their dishes were perfect. Just a bit of a warning, as one of our vendors mentioned it's happened again since our wedding in September and it didn't seem to be a one time occurrence. Other than that, The Ryland Inn is a stunning setting and great alternative to the typical NJ banquet hall.

They don't care about military

I would never good conscience recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are military. It is such a sad thing because I was so excited to have my wedding here but time and time again, the staff lacked communication and compassion. After putting a $5000 deposit down with Lauren for my wedding, within a month she quits and I am "transferred" to another wedding coordinator who took MULTIPLE weeks and MULTIPLE attempts on my part to reach out to her with no response. Finally after multiple emails and weeks had gone by, Michelle finally called me back so we set up a meet since my fiance was in town (he's military). After finally setting up a date, Michelle said she would comp a dinner for us due to the lack of communication. After our meet, we got a comped drink only. 6 months later COVID hit. The venue, FIRED my wedding coordinator and didn't tell me. I was forced to speak with Danielle who was less than helpful and when restrictions were lifted, they hired my wedding coordinator back. Even though our original wedding date was 12/26/2020, we didn't want to chance it because we have family members who assured us they wouldn't come due to underlying health reasons. The venue was not helpful with letting us push our date to 2022. They did not want to agree to our current contract due to covid and my fiance's military orders since he was due to deploy spring/summer of 2021 for a minimum of 6 months. If my fiance didn't have orders to deploy, we would have been able to do a 2021 wedding. The venue DID NOT CARE .We were forced to pick a new date out of season in late 2022 on a Sunday afternoon so the cost would not greatly increase. Now after the constant mistreatment, lack of communication and new orders arising for my fiances job again, we were forced to entirely cancel out wedding and guess what? I had emailed my wedding coordinator and days later still did not receive a response. I emailed their rep, Danielle, days later still did not receive a response. I had to send a certified letter to the venue to receive an email response from the venue. Finally, after my multiple attempts to get their response, I was just not informed my wedding coordinator (whom they fired and rehired) was on a leave of absence. As a client, I should have been aware of that and both Michelle and representatives of the The Ryland Inn failed to inform me of that. After all this, in order to cancel, I would still need to owe money for my late fall 2022 wedding after my $5000 deposit. You pay for service except i received none.

Traumatized Experience

My fiance and I were scheduled to have our wedding at the Ryland Inn on 5/9/2020. Due to the coronavirus, we had to postpone our wedding. We initially wanted to keep our wedding at the Ryland Inn, but the only dates available were dates such as 9/11, Halloween and New Year's Eve. When we asked Landmark Hospitality if we could get a full refund given the circumstances, they immediately started avoiding us, not responding to any of our emails or calls for 4 weeks. It required an email directly to the CEO of Landmark Hospitality to receive a response. She pushed us to hold our wedding on a non weekend day to maximize her profits, telling us that "Pandemic Monday is the the new Saturday!" Unbelievable given the circumstances.
Given that we had already paid over 80% of the total deposit, they held our money hostage for over 2 months, which prevented us from booking another venue. We still have not received our full deposit back and at this point, are treating it as a sunk cost. However, it's our responsibility to all of the potential bride and grooms out there - we highly recommend looking at other venues. The actions of Landmark Hospitality's staff and leadership are truly shameful - we hope nobody else has to go through this experience.
