Working with the team at The Rutherford was the easiest part of planning our wedding. We initially decided to use this venue because of the reasonable cost, but the experience went well beyond what we paid. We asked them for a lot of recommendations throughout the process and I highly recommend you do the same. They know their stuff. -

Planning a wedding during COVID was no joke. With things constantly changing and the state shutting down gatherings, it was very stressful to make decisions about something seeming so uncertain. Yasha and Wallace were so communicative, prepared, and so professional. They were excellent partners, provided a great space, and were so generous to us throughout the planning process and stellar for the wedding. Best venue ever! -

Yasha and her team were really great to work with. They were very professional and organized which made the planning process go very smoothly. This venue was perfect for our needs! It was charming, plenty of space and most importantly was indoor/ outdoor. The patio was my favorite spot. With the chandeliers, string lights and candles it was a very romantic setting. Would recommend this location again and again!

I knew that I wanted bricks in my wedding. I was going for an industrial/boho look and the Rutherford was perfect. I loved that they had the backyard area for the ceremony to be outside even though it was December. The venue allowed us to have a pasta wheel station work. They were very flexible with all of our requests and accommodated with pretty much everything with the ceremony and the reception. I had around 100 people at the wedding during COVID and they helped it feel like a normal ceremony for me and my husband.
It’s a beautiful venue at a great price and very close to many hotels in Greenville. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. They know their stuff.
I highly recommend The Rutherford. My pictures looked beautiful with all the brick! -

Great venue in Greenville!
WE LOVE THE RUTHERFORD.
Yasha and Wallace made the wedding planning experience so much easier for us! This venue is one of kind, and we knew it was perfect for us the day we saw it! It is spectacular, unique, and affordable. Our guests were raving about the space.
It is difficult to obtain venue space in Greenville, especially ones that are affordable. We booked our date almost 2 years in advance, and we're happy we did, it's gained so much popularity since then! We recommend booking it early if you know it's for you!
The space is very versatile and you can have just about any type of ceremony or reception in this space! The outdoor space is open, and well maintained, and was surprisingly quiet for how close it is to a busy road! It rained on our wedding day, and the original ceremony plan was outdoors, but Yasha and her team were great at forming and executing a back up plan, and our ceremony was even more beautiful inside!
They are professionals, and Yasha takes great pride in her space, and they do require all vendors to have insurance and provide their contracts and plans to them in advance! They communicate with all of your vendors throughout the planning process. This provided us with a sense of comfort knowing everything was being handled by the venue and our vendors. It was wonderful to be able to just focus on other things and let them sort out the details!
This venue was the most perfect backdrop for our big day! Thank you to Yasha, Wallace, Mickey, and The Rutherford! -

Wallace and her team was a pleasure to work with for our daughter’s wedding. The space was perfect for our guest and every effort was made to make our special day even more so. Fantastic venue
Yasha and her team were so easy and fun to work with for our wedding. They're open to new ideas and really let you be creative and transform their space into your dream venue. We got so many compliments from family and friends on how beautiful the venue was on our wedding day and we didn't add a lot of additional decoration. This Rutherford also offers a lot of options for both ceremony and reception both indoor and outdoor which is a huge plus when looking to have both in one place. Definitely add this to your list of venues when looking in Greenville! Once we saw it we knew it was the perfect place for us! -

Having a wedding at The Rutherford is one of the best decision you can make as an engaged couple! Here are a few reasons you should The Rutherford: 1. The People (Wallace and Yasha) 2. The Space (no other venue has what they have) 3. Parking (its plentiful and free) 4. Location (close to downtown) 5. Vendor Policy (Easy to work with and still work with ones you love).
It was not even a question for us when got engaged where the wedding would be! Luckily, we were able to find a date and plan a wedding in six months. The Rutherford made it easy, fun and beautiful!
A piece of advice: Hire a a great planner that they recommend! The Rutherford works so closely with great planners and designers. This allows them to focus on all your venue needs while a planner can focus on your design and timeline.
Thank you Yasha for being supportive of my vision and helping me bring it to life in your venue! You have created a one of a kind venue that was just what Greenville needed.
Thank you Wallace for answering questions and being a sounding board on the ideas I presented!
Thank you Mickey for helping guests with parking, escorting them inside and keeping everyone in line so that we all enjoyed the event! -

The Rutherford is an ideal wedding space in Upstate South Carolina and downtown Greenville. With 3 different spaces in one location there is a huge amount of flexibility for your special day. We utilized the gorgeous outdoor space for our ceremony and it was then flipped to our dinner. We then used the downstairs area for our rehearsal also utilizing their patio. We had two full bars, a dance floor and a stage with a live band! Yes it was a great party! There was ample space with tables and never seemed cramped for our 150+ guest count. They have dedicated parking as well as an amazing staff that was extremely accommodating. I couldn't recommend it highly enough - it is a great space for any sort of event as well. -

The Rutherford was AMAZING
We loved the Rutherford! We had our wedding here in November and it was magical. Really the best thing about the Rutherford is working with Yasha. She was so helpful and generous. She really wanted our day to be what we wanted it to be (which shockingly isn't always true in the wedding business). She was flexible and attentive. She was AMAZINGLY organized. Without her, our day wouldn't have been as wonderful as it was. The Rutherford is so versatile too. Our wedding looked so different from others before us and we loved that there are so many different spaces between the indoor area, covered patio, and the lawn. -

Everything about this venue was perfect. Yasha was so great to work with and incredibly helpful every step of the way. We loved this venue because she allowed us to make it whatever we wanted and it ended up being exactly the space we had hoped. All of our guests loved it, we got a ton of compliments on the venue. -

The Rutherford was perfect for our wedding. We were able to have our ceremony upstairs, sit-down dinner downstairs with dancing and games and lounging outside. Our guests had a great time and so did we. The planning process was pretty smooth sailing. -
