    Incredible Wedding Day Location

We had many out of town guests so we wanted to have an all-in-one location for rehearsal dinner, lodging, ceremony and reception... The Roycroft not only delivered this dream to be a reality, but made it painless, efficient and a wonderful experience for my now husband and I. The venue is so beautiful with each season change and it's rich history and it matched our personalities and wedding ideas perfectly. Celeste was wonderful to work with and our family members found the campus to be easily accessible and convenient to walk around and manage our wedding festivity locations. The food was amazing too, and I cannot say enough about the convenience! Simply supurb and magical!

    Roycroft Inn

Taylor was so awesome to work with in planning our August wedding reception as she always responded promptly to our inquiries. All our guests raved about the delicious food and huge portions. The Roycroft Inn was the perfect setting for our guests for a summer night as we had access to the gardens and porches. We had a live band playing for the cocktail hour and then for the reception; the space and sound was great. We really enjoyed staying at the Inn with our bridal party and family for the wedding weekend; that worked out so well for our out of town guests! Wish we could do it all over again!!

A unique, beautiful, historical place to have your wedding. David was extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire process, and we couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out. Our guests are still talking about how charming the Roycroft was, and how delicious the food was too! (Seriously, the food alone is worth it.) My husband and I really loved how un-cookie-cutter everything felt. If you're looking for a venue that has historical ambiance and charm, definitely consider the Roycroft!

Our wedding at the Roycroft was perfection! David was so accommodating in answering all my questions and providing options so we could have the best wedding ever. The venue was perfect for our needs - most of our guests were from out of town, and we were able to reserve a block of rooms so most of them could stay right on site. The ceremony in the chapel was beautiful, and so convenient for the reception to follow immediately after. They were helpful on all the walkthroughs, and everything from the food to the setup was exactly what we had envisioned.

The food was amazing, we got so many compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The staff was happy and fun and quick and we have absolutely no complaints or regrets about having our wedding at the Roycroft. I would pick it a thousand times over. Dream wedding venue!

David Majka and his staff at the Roycroft Inn in East Aurora exceeded our expectations as a location to host our wedding reception. Not only is it a unique and quaint venue, but we received the personalized attention that you sought when planning our very special day. David listened to our vision and he and his staff executed our wedding reception to perfection. From our first planning meeting months earlier to brunch the day after our wedding, trusting the Roycroft staff was the right thing to do. The process was seamless and not a single question or accommodation went unanswered. The quality of the food, beverages and service was superb within a very reasonable budget. I would not ever hesitate to use the Roycroft Inn to host a future event.

Our reception was in the Library room, it was just the right size, we had 31 people attend. The room is lovely, there were 4 round tables of 8 people and a table for the bride and groom in front of the fireplace. The cake table was set up beautifully and the food and service was wonderful. Very reasonably priced as well. The venue is so romantic, our ceremony was in the Roycroft chapel at noon and then we had appetizers served at the Inn across the street on the covered porch and a luncheon at 1pm. We were not rushed, we had the room till 4pm.

This was the perfect place for our wedding! David and his team at the Roycroft made everything very easy. After a couple of meetings, we had the room chosen, the menu selected, timing worked out and rooms booked at the Inn for my husband and I and our guests that traveled in for the event. The room was beautiful, the staff was so extremely helpful, the food was outstanding and the guest rooms were lovely. The professionalism, consideration and special treatment by everyone at the Roycroft made my day worry free and everything I could ever have dreamed of. Please be sure to ask for their recommendations for other vendors they work with for flowers, cake, etc. Their suggestions were also top notch, they all shared mutual respect and worked together seamlessly. Thank you for making our wedding perfect!

This was the Inn in our hometown and we loved the history associated with the Roycroft Campus. The event staff was fantastic and accommodating! The food was excellent and the waitstaff went the extra mile in making sure everyone had drinks and desserts saved, even til the end of the night. We worked with the relaxed elegant atmosphere of the place and didn't go overboard with crystal or flowers and it made for a great summer evening wedding!

My husband and I had our reception at the Roycroft Inn and most of our out of town guests stayed at the Roycroft. It was beautiful. I've always loved the Roycroft but it was even better than I would have expected. Beautiful, romantic, great food. They were great to coordinate with on the event. David who is in charge of coordinating events is super responsive and organized and gave us great vendor suggestions. The cocktail area was perfect...not too big, not too small. I couldn't have asked for more. All of our guests loved the venue and the ones who stayed there loved their rooms.

The Roycroft is an amazing venue for a wedding. If it's in your budget, there is nothing that compares in the area. The food is fantastic, the staff is so helpful and professional, David the wedding planner will do almost anything and everything to accommodate you! If you have your event in the summer, it can get very hot in the banquet room, so make sure you discuss how to keep it cool (shut the doors and blasting the AC) with the staff ahead of time.

My brother had his wedding reception at the Roycroft Inn in 1986 and celebrated his 10th anniversary there, one year after the Inn was restored. I was so impressed that 15 years later, I remember it (even from faraway Philadelphia) and knew it was just the right place for my event.

I cannot say enough good things about the Roycroft. We had a small (26 guests) ceremony in the lounge, followed by a cocktail reception in the same room (they reconfigured the seating in a few minutes), followed by dinner in the adjacent library. Everything was perfect for our New Year's Day wedding. The Roycroft was beautifully done up for the holidays; the only flowers I had to provide were my bouquet, boutonnieres and corsages for the groom and parents, and decoration for the cake. Fresh flowers, exquisitely done, are provided every day at all the tables and accent areas, at no charge to the client. Placecards, programs and favors that I provided were tastefully arranged without my input. The Roycroft provided elegant tea lights and other appointments without my asking for them or even knowing they would be included. They also distributed our goodie bags to our overnight guests. The service was impeccable and friendly.

We did not have dancing, but provided a CD of selections to be played at various times during the 1/2 hour ceremony. One of the waitstaff took on the responsibility for turning the music on and off at the appropriate times, and it went off without a hitch.

I couldn't have asked for any improvements, and all was done on a very reasonable budget. I cannot recommend the Roycroft highly enough.

The food was terrific! The staff was very helpful; however they were not as readily available to our guests after our dessert as they were through dinner. Some of our guests went directly to the bar which didn't matter too much since one of our servers was the one bartending.

Growing up in Marilla, NY my family and I were very familiar with the Roycroft Inn. It is one of my mother's favorite restaurants so I know my parents would be sold on the idea for them as our wedding venue. My husband and I were looking for something rustic, simple, but with excellent service. I was nervous about the cost and if he would like it or not. When we went for our first meeting with David at the Inn my husband was sold instantly. He loved the look of everything and he was immediately impressed with our wedding coordinator. The Roycroft Inn does not advertise a lot that they hold events such as weddings there. They do not attend the huge wedding shows, etc. and that is another thing I liked about choosing this venue. Our wedding coordinator David was extremely helpful, professional but with a sense of humor which my husband loved. They did an amazing job with everything, set up all my decorations, helped me map out the whole look and time table of the evening and gave us a wedding coordinator the night of the event to let me and my husband know when to do everything. They provided a free champagne toast and made sure the head table all had extra drinks before the bar closed for dinner. We went with a buffet for our dinner choice and I could not have been happier. The food tasted amazing and was hot and fresh. We received so many great compliments about the food, the venue, the appetizers, etc. My immediate family, my husband and I, and some friends stayed the night in the hotel after the wedding and the rooms were amazing. Plus we got to enjoy their famous Sunday Brunch. This was by far the best decision we made regarding our wedding. The quality of service, staff, food, and overall experience were well worth the cost.

We had our reception at The Roycroft. The Inn is very beautiful and they offered a good deal. After the contract was signed response to emails to plan the wedding and attention to our guests that were trying to book rooms from the block we had reserved was not the best. The day of the wedding nobody from The Roycroft made themselves available when we were setting up so we figured stuff out as well as we could. In the evening, the appetizers were delicious and our guests enjoyed it but once they were seated things ran slow because they only provided two servers for +40 people. The dinner service was slow and some guests did not get what they had ordered but all the food was fresh and delicious so we thought it was worth the wait.

What upset me the most was that we had the place booked until 11 pm, yet as soon as the first table cleared out the servers started cleaning up, removing center pieces, table cloths and everything while people were still dancing, drinking, etc. Next thing I know all the guest are leaving because they felt rushed out and / or thought we had only booked until 10 pm. In all this cleaning up that the servers did a chalkboard and a wooden candle holder went missing from each table. Next day we received the bill with some charges that did not add up. We talked to David in person about what the charges were and about the six chalkboards and six candle holders missing. He said he would check with his team and let us know what had happened. It has been now one year since our wedding and David never gave us an answer. The items that were lost honestly did not cost that much but it was still disappointing that they just disappeared, probably misplaced as they servers cleaned up prematurely or stolen. We are sure our guests did not take these items.

Overall, I enjoyed most of the reception and The Roycroft is beautiful but they certainly left us with a bittersweet taste no couple wants to have after their wedding.

Historic venue with excellent food best for small wedding.

We had high hopes for an elegant wedding reception for our 130 guests and hopefully our guests had a great time. As the hosts we had some issues with communication after securing the venue about a year ahead with Andrea. It seemed difficult to plan special decor and details that would make the event individual and some details were not confirmed until weeks before which was a little unnerving. We had problems with contact for questions trying email, phone and dropping by. The week before the menu was still being finalized. I will say they were very good with allergy issues and the food was delicious though some guests waited an hour to be served. The bar was inadequate for the number of guests, set in a corner of a vestibule and there was a long line for one bartender. The cake was served after the bar was reopened and many people had left the room so I'm unsure everyone got dessert. The main room was terribly hot on a 75 degree evening so guests disbursed around the building to cooler spots. The DJ stopped at 10:45 to meet a noise ordinance of 11 pm and the staff moved super fast to clear everything (table centerpieces) and reset for the next day. We had to label all our decor and special items and pick it up the next day. We had to have someone hunt down the top tier of the cake the next day and it would have been nice if there had been a lead server to connect with if needed the evening of the event. I feel there would have been less issues with a basic event of 75 people or less. I was less than confident that the event would be what we planned but it seemed our guests enjoyed the evening.
