Melinda Sent on 10/09/2018If you’re dreaming of a storybook country wedding on Long Island, Gansett Green is just the place. Our daughter was married there last weekend and next to the beaming bride and groom, the venue stole the show. What looks like a small, historic house from the street opens up to a spectacular expanse of manicured grass, surrounded by tall trees and country fields with a picturesque silo next door. It was just the combination of rustic elegance we were looking for and the setting sun painted everything gold!
Gansett is also a wonderfully convenient place for a wedding. The 15 beautifully appointed cottages can accommodate 50 guests on site; there’s a Jitney stop, a great florist, a hair salon and several rehearsal-dinner options all within a few steps in charming Amagansett.
Best of all, Leslie and Jed are wonderful to work with, very warm and caring and knowledgeable. Wish we could do it all over again! -

Surpassed our wildest dreams!
From the moment my mom and I walked on to the grounds at Gansett Green we did not want to leave. We actually completely missed our next scheduled venue visit because we were so busy dreaming about the possibilities for a wedding at Gansett. For months after, I was afraid that the day could not possibly live up to my dreams, but in the end, it far surpassed them! Gansett absolutely sparkled on our wedding day. As you walk down the gravel path from the convenient main street entrance, you are transported to a serene, private field that feels removed from the rest of the world as if by magic. From the moment we chose this venue, Leslie and Jed treated us like family, and Gansett will now forever feel like home. -

Gansett Green Manor is an incredible hidden gem right in the heart of Amagansett. Not only is their lawn impeccably kept and the perfect location for the tent wedding of your dreams, the cottages on site allows you to stay on site with your closest family or friends! The property is surrounded on 3 sides by farm land so you really feel like you're secluded from the real world, while at the same time just a few steps away from the very cute main street of Amagansett with shops and restaurants for guests to explore. Leslie and Jed are BEYOND responsive, were so helpful in recommending vendors in the area, helped us assign rooms for our bridal party, and are all around just really wonderful people! We could not have imagined a more perfect location for our big day! -

From the moment we took our first visit to Gansett, Leslie and Jed went above and beyond, so much that we nicknamed them our Weddinf Fairy Godparents. They did anything and everything to make the weekend our dream, they responded to every email, text and call within minutes and made planning FUN!!!
The venue itself is breathtaking , fields of beautiful green lush grass, surrounded by white roses and if your lucky an occasional deer! The cottages are clean, homey and so cozy, and truly make it feel like a destination wedding!
Sadly words won’t ever do these two humans or their venue justice but I hope some pictures can help! -

The grounds were absolutely beautiful, working with Leslie and Jeb was seamless and their effort to go out of their way to make our weekend successful was incredible. Our guests loved staying on the property, the comfort of the cottages, enjoying homemade lunches then bike rides to the beach. Every hope of a great weekend was matched and then some, I very highly recommend this venue!!!

Kendra Sent on 12/04/2017Everything about our wedding at Gansett Green Manor was perfect. The vibe was exactly what we were looking for -- relaxed and understated yet with the beauty and elegance of the Hamptons. The gardens are incredible. In early September when we got married the property was absolutely stunning.
When you get married at GGM you get the entire property for the whole weekend. It was so amazing to have all of our closest friends and family on site all weekend. We put the bridesmaids up in the Innkeeper's Cottage and turned it into the bridal suite, and used the Captain's Quarters for the groomsmen. There are beach cruisers on site for you and your guests to ride down to the beach (we did this on Sunday after the wedding and it was SO fun), plus tons of towels, chairs, etc. It is a kid friendly place and walkable to everything in downtown Amagansett.
We had our rehearsal dinner on-site on Friday night. We brought in the Rolling in the Dough pizza truck and bar truck and it was a total hit. Unique, relaxed and super fun for everyone compared to a traditional RD. At 11 pm when the noise ordinance went into effect everyone headed downtown to the Talkhouse.
One of the highlights of our experience was working with Leslie and Jed. They are the married couple that owns the property and they will do almost anything they can to make your event perfect. They got to know our families, sat in on meetings with the caterer, answered any questions we had, were accommodating to endless changes we made in room assignments, and lots of other details. They are also locals to the area and were familiar with many of our vendors which made all of that coordination even easier. They are such sweet people and we feel bonded to them for life! It's no wonder that many GGM couples end up spending their anniversaries and vacations there.
Our weekend was absolute perfection down to every detail and we are endlessly grateful for Leslie and Jed and the entire GGM staff!!! THANK YOU!!! -

After checking out more than 10 venues between South Hampton and Montauk, we knew right away that GGM would strike the perfect balance between the homeyness of a backyard wedding and the elegance of a once-in-a-lifetime affair. Leslie and Jed could not have been more helpful throughout the planning process, from recommending vendors to taking care of all permits to handling guest accommodations seamlessly. Best of all, they are lovely people who felt like part of the family by the time our weekend rolled around. We had both of our families stay in the cottages, which was such a wonderful way for everyone to spend meaningful time together. Those guests visiting the east end for the first time especially loved how close they were to town and the beach- it ended up being a great mini vacation for all! I cannot recommend GGM highly enough! -
User2248040 Sent on 07/29/2015I cannot say enough good things about Gansett Green Manor and the owners, Leslie and Jed. First of all, Gansett Green Manor is absolutely breathtaking. As soon as I arrived, I knew it is where I wanted to get married. I first visited Gansett in the middle of January when all the trees were dead, the sky was gray and it was raining. Even at the worst time of year, Gansett was still beautiful. Leslie and Jed are SO down to earth and were beyond helpful the entire year and a half of planning. They are both very organized and reliable and were a huge reason my wedding was such a success. Leslie was a great resource when I had questions about vendors out east on Long Island and handled all of our permits (which I can imagine was a lot of work). Leslie and Jed really went above and beyond and I will miss talking to them every few weeks while planning. My guests were in awe at how awesome the venue was. The rooms are all little cottages that remind me of an Anthropologie/West Elm catalog. They are all very unique which is a style I love. Some of our wedding guests have already made reservations at Gansett to stay for their anniversaries/mini-vacations. The entire staff at Gansett is wonderful. I really wish I could get married there every year. I would 100% recommend Gansett for a wedding venue or for a weekend out in the Hamptons at a lovely inn. -

The field was the beautiful setting for our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception, while the cottages on the property provided accommodations to our closest guests. The cottages are absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable for all of us. They were also a great place for our "getting ready" shots before the ceremony.
Leslie and Jed, the owners of Gansett Green Manor, felt like they were part of the family by the time our wedding weekend arrived. They were extremely accommodating and helpful through the whole planning process. We chose not to use a wedding planner, and we would not have been able to accomplish what we did without Leslie and Jed's help. They were especially helpful given that we live in Manhattan, far away from the venue and almost all of our vendors.
All of our guests have been raving about the wedding ever since! We could not have possibly dreamed of a more perfect weekend. -

Besides being extremely pleasant people to work with, they were very reliable, trustworthy and collaborative throughout the entire process. Most of our family stayed on the grounds and looking back it was so meaningful to have everyone together for the weekend. I cannot recommend them enough and encourage you to get your date locked before this hidden gem becomes a wedding hot spot!
