Christina Sent on 01/29/2017We couldn't have been happier with Drymill Road!! The band was referred to us by our wedding venue, House Mountain Inn, and after listening to a few of their tunes on Google Play I was in love and praying they were still available for our date. Robert was super responsive via email, easy to work with, and the only one of our vendors to contact me first the week of the wedding to check in before the big day. What we really liked about Robert was that he was both professional but also easy-going which we didn't necessarily get with other band prospects and was important for the overall vibe we wanted. We already had a DJ booked for the reception, so we had the band come to play before and during the ceremony and then for the cocktail hour. For the location and duration I felt the pricing was very fair, but honestly we had such a good experience with them I feel like it was a steal. The range of music the band played was impressive and appropriate for all the wedding feels--light-hearted, romantic, upbeat, chill. I had a few requests from their original music and a Beetles song, and then Robert suggested some superb classic bluegrass tunes that we went with for the ceremony. They played so beautifully--my husband and I both burst into tears when they played the song I walked down the aisle to and that started a chain reaction among our guests (it was a real tear jerker:) We asked them to play acoustically, which worked out great in going with the natural vibe of an outdoor ceremony, and it seemed to be easy enough for them to transfer locations to the happy hour. The guests raved about the band and I only wish we had planned to have them play longer. They were definitely a highlight of the wedding. My husband and I have gone to hear the band when they've played locally and will definitely be going to see them again. Can't sing their praises enough! -

Team Sent on 02/25/2017Drywall Road is amazing and made our wedding day extraordinarily special. My husband (finance at the time) were searching for a fun and unique band for our wedding at a farm brewery. We heard Drymill's music on their website and started to dance in our living room. The music is amazing, fun and inspiring. The next step was to reach out to them to see if they were available, cost, etc. Robert was my favorite vendor to work with! He was extremely responsive, friendly and gave us great recommendations for ceremony music. We spoke several times before the big day to make sure everything would be carried out without a hitch. On the day of, they set up, played beautiful music for the ceremony, specifically "Whiskey before breakfast" for the recessional, then lovely instrumental music for the cocktail hour and then our reception. Our favorite part was that they learned "Die a Happy Man" for our first dance and it was beyond amazing! Additionally, they played a super fun rendition of the 'Hora' dance, which got all our guests out of their seats and dancing. I would highly recommend Drymill Road!

User1843211 Sent on 10/03/2014The first thing I did in planning our wedding party was to book Drymill Road! And that was one of the best and easiest decisions I made. Not only were they incredibly easy to work with in the planning phases, their music made the party memorable and so, so special. I received many positive comments about their music and one guest even asked me "How did you get Drymill Road" to play? I hear they're really busy". But the truth is that getting this fabulous band only took an e-mail! Thanks to Drymill Road for making our celebration special!

User1749806 Sent on 08/05/2014My now-husband and I saw Drymill Road play their bluegrass/newgrass music at various local venues and events during the last couple years. Once I found out they also do weddings, there was never any doubt that we would have them play our wedding. They provided our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. They were professional, honest (pointing out that I accidently overpaid them and returning the overage!), provided great entertainment, and are all-around great guys. I think their style of music could fit with any venue (ours was in a modern art museum). I received several compliments from guests. My maid of honor said she got chills from their version of "Hallelujah" (in the style of Jeff Buckley) during the processional; for me, it was the perfect musical backdrop to a very emotional moment. Their music is one of my favorite memories from our wedding. -
User1144814 Sent on 04/26/2013Drymill Road provided the music for my wedding reception. They were fantastic! Robert from Drymill was my main point of contact and he was incredibly responsive, and followed up with me throughout the planning process, which really helped me out! He even accommodated a complete time change for the reception and even came early to set up a PA system through which we played some quiet background music during dinner before the band went on.
Drymill Road learned a special song for us for our first dance that was outside of their song list, and they did a fabulous job. They played the night away, and guests danced and loved the tunes. They also MC'd the entire event, announcing the bridal party, first dance, cake cutting, boquet toss, etc and were so accommodating. I think they were a great wedding band, and I would high recommend them for anyone looking for some awesome bluegrass/newgrass band with excellent customer service! Thanks guys!

User2651536 Sent on 06/17/2016Drymill Road performed at our wedding in the ceremony, during cocktail hour and part of the reception. They created a fantastic atmosphere for our guests and kept the energy going in the reception. The band is easy to communicate with and they are very flexible with song requests etc. They knew almost everything we wanted performed and were willing to go out of their way to learn what they didn't already know. What a terrific experience having Drymill Road in our wedding!
