Magical! Everyone loved the retreat and the location is easily accessible off the interstate!
We had a wonderful reception at the River’s Retreat! It was magical! Marcus was wonderful to work with. The cottages were perfect to stay late and end the night at the retreat! The location for many of our families was great! We had a fire in the fireplace and ended the night with another in the fire pit! We started with a cocktail hour in the Community Hall! It was the perfect space for it! The caterer was Nonna Randazzo. Everyone enjoyed the food! Marcus recommended the bartenders Ron & Barbara Hebert. They were great to work with as well! The pavilion was perfect for the band to setup with enough electrical outlets and space! With a large dance floor in front of the band! We had an LSU game playing under a tent on the lawn! I highly recommend The River’s Retreat! I wanted to add that they are pet friendly! We were able to bring three of our large trained dogs with us! -

Fall in Love with The Rivers Retreat
We can’t express enough how awesome this venue was. There is absolutely nothing like it and it really made our wedding experience everything we dreamed of. Marcus was AMAZING and was there whenever we needed it with solutions and guidance. He was very professional and open to all of our ideas. Our family and friends stayed with us the entire weekend at the rivers retreat and the time we got to spend together because of this outstanding venue was so special and meant everything to us. We would love to come back and be able to utilize the venue again for other event as well. Our wedding was truly an amazing and memorable adventure because of this unique venue. -

Couldn’t be more perfect!
Marcus and the staff were so helpful and accommodating! Having the property for the whole weekend was a huge blessing for us since we had so much family traveling from out of state! Such a beautiful place! The perfect place for our wedding! -

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!! We had my dad's 97th birthday party in the dining hall on a Sunday. We had access to the complete dining hall and it's full size kitchen! Our guest arrived to a beautifully set up dining hall covered in the black tablecloths and chairs. A table was also set up for dad's cake and a long buffet table was all set up and nicely decorated. It was a nice spring day and I wish we would have not been so busying socializing and spent time on the 13 acre property. It was truly a wonderful experience. Sadly, I didn't know about this hidden gem when my daughters were married. Before you decide on a venue, please do not pass up a tour of The Rivers Retreat ... you don't want to cross this one off your list. THANK YOU MARCUS for everything! Your hospitality was top notch!

When we found the Rivers Retreat in December and re-planned our entire March wedding, we were initially very stressed and nervous, but let me tell you we had no reason to be! The property is gorgeous and totally customizable! Staying on the property for the full weekend with our entire wedding party led to some of the greatest memories of our lives. Marcus was incredible to work with, so professional, flexible, and genuinely went out of his way to ensure it was the weekend of dreams. We loved having our wedding at the Rivers Retreat and could not recommend it more! The property is beautiful and completely customizable to your own style! We could do any decorations we wanted and Marcus was able to accommodate all of our many requests! We rented the property for the full weekend, so we were able to use the various rooms for our rehearsal dinner, getting ready for the wedding, the ceremony, and reception! It was an absolute blast and so convenient to have everything all at one place. We made the best memories staying on the property for the full weekend with all of our friends and family! Marcus was very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed and more!The Rivers Retreat's reply:

We ended up not choosing this vendor due to him being slightly out of budget, but he is super nice, has a pretty property, and has great pricing for what he offers. If we had a larger budget, we would have booked him for sure as he offers the entire property for the whole weekend, which is great for close knit families.The Rivers Retreat's reply:
