Gorgeous Venue, Incredible Owner

Kimberly and her staff at The Reserve are wonderful! The venue is gorgeous and everyone is still talking about the view! Our photographs were unbelievable! It was nice to have all several ceremony site options and a back-up plan for rain! Kimberly did everything in her power to make sure our day was perfect. It was an incredible venue and the most perfect day. We can't thank Kimberly enough for all of her help!

Perfect location and service!

We have had multiple events at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill over the years and each one has been so wonderful. We even had a Memorial Dinner for a family member that passed and Haley was so incredibly kind and thoughtful to work with. I couldn't suggest a better and more beautiful place for an event.

The day was perfect! We took a chance of getting married in February, but I wouldn't of changed one thing! Jan and Emily were amazing. It ended up being around 60 and cloudy with a slight chance of rain that day and my heart was set on having the ceremony outside. It had rained all day until the ceremony time when Jan and Emily organized everything to be set outside! I could not of been more excited! It ended up sprinkling on the processional but everyone had a good laugh and everyone was happy! The ceremony and reception went off with out any problems! Thank you Jan, Emily, Haley, Beau, and Hector!

My husband and I were engaged on 12/31/14 and married on 11/21/15 at the Reserve at Bluebird Hill. Our venue decision was made fairly quickly -- we had already spoken to and toured several other venues, but as soon as we set foot on Bluebird Hill and met with Emily, we knew right away that this would be where we'd wed! Emily and Jan were amazing through the entire process, and our rehearsal and wedding went by seamlessly thanks to their direction and expertise. The venue itself is breathtaking, even in late fall, and we had our ceremony in the garden beside the reception hall. Our guests (most of whom had never been to TN) couldn't say enough about how beautiful our location was. Absolutely perfect!

Jan and Emily were amazing! They are so experienced which was extremely helpful during the planning process, and they took care of everything on the day of the wedding so I didn't have to worry about a thing. They were very accommodating and helpful. The venue is gorgeous and was absolutely perfect for us. It's also extremely versatile. I love all of the different backgrounds we were able to have for our pictures and it was all on the same property!

Jan Hall and Emily Arnett are pure class! They made sure that we felt taken care of from beginning to end in planning our daughter's wedding. We never worried about a single thing because if we had a question Emily and Jan would have an answer back to us in minutes - not hours or the next day. The facility is beautifully kept and it is a place that has those extra touches that make you know they take pride in providing an exceptional experience for everyone. The gracious way they work with vendors is like clockwork...Rolex clockwork! The Reserve at Bluebird Hill offers such a beautiful setting for any special occasion.

The Reserve at Bluebird Hill made my wedding day dreams come true. It's the perfect place for a serene outdoor wedding and the staff is absolutely phenomenal! It also provides a beautiful backdrop for pictures! I can't give this venue enough praise!

Bluebird Hill was the perfect venue! I loved the flexibility offered by the venue with several ceremony spaces and the reception hall - it made it easy for us to set up spaces ahead of time. We used different spaces for the ceremony (the hill itself), cocktail hour (the garden lawn), and the reception (indoor hall), and having all of those spaces within one venue really helped the flow of the event. The team at Bluebird was very responsive; they responded to emails promptly and were accessible for meetings. The team was happy to complete even requests that required a lot of work on their part - such as mowing the hill with a finishing mower. They were also present to help with anything and everything on the wedding day and were extremely kind. The Bluebird Hill team also set up all the rentals - tables, chairs, etc. - for us, saving a lot of stress on the day of. I would recommend it to anyone!

We love working at the Reserve at Bluebird Hill, which has multiple gorgeous ceremony locations and an upscale indoor pavilion. The onsite horses just add to the character of this lovely venue.

The Reserve at Bluebird Hill was absolutely fantastic! Emily and Jan were amazing! The venue is so beautiful and the staff just as great. There are so many different things to do there and visually appealing areas on this land. The staff is very quick to respond, have great insight and advice, and really pull everything together perfectly for the wedding day. Emily went above and beyond on my wedding day. Our day went so smooth and was beyond anything I ever imagined. I could rave about this place and people for hours. This is the venue to use! Absolutely nothing negative I could ever say.

The Reserve at Bluebird Hill was incredible! Emily and Jan were so easy to work with. They helped to make sure everything went smoothly during my planning process. Emily really helped to make my rehearsal and wedding absolutely perfect. She was always quick to respond to my emails and texts during my months of planning. Her intern Katie was amazing as well. She did a fantastic job helping Emily arrange and manage everything both days. And the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous! I really didn't want to add too much decoration or fancy lighting just because of how naturally beautiful everything is! I couldn't have chosen a better place. Everything about Bluebird Hill is beyond amazing.

This venue is absolutely beautiful. No only is the scenery pretty, but the actual venue is as well. The workers are so nice and friendly. The day of my wedding it began to rain 30 minutes before I was going to walk down the aisle. The workers prepared quickly to move the wedding inside and then quickly moved it back outside once we saw the rain had moved out of the area. They even wiped off all the seats outside so the guests would have a dry seat. I recommend this venue to all of my engaged friends!

We love hosting our daughters weddings there and are just sorry we don't have any more to marry off! The location is easy to get to and beautiful. I appreciate not having to rent too many additional tables and chairs.

The location of the Reserve is stunning. With indoor and outdoor garden options for the ceremony and reception, we knew this was the best place for our wedding. The setting is immaculate, with options for use of the firepit, formal garden and amazing indoor reception area. The staff at the Reserve was so helpful and had the space ready to go and looking perfect. They were extremely helpful providing logistics and ideas, and working seamlessly with other (outstanding) vendors. We would highly recommend the Reserve!

Emily was wonderful to work with for my daughter's wedding. With so many details to keep up with, she was essential to help us pull of a perfect wedding. Her attention to detail makes her the perfect event coordinator. My daughter's special day was all she had dreamed of and more. The reserve and it's staff were wonderful! So helpful and always excited! As a bride I was worried about the stress of a wedding day and the planning that goes along with it. The reserve staff especially Jan, Emily, and Francy made me feel absolutely no stress the day of my wedding. They had everything planned out and timed that I didn't have to worry about a thing. Anything I needed they provided. Their hospitality was outstanding, making me feel so at home. I would love to do it all again not to change anything but because the experience was so amazing!

We used the Reserve at Bluebird Hill for our son's rehearsal dinner. It was a GREAT venue for this! Jan Hall and her staff could not have been more helpful. We were from Florida, and since our son was being married in Knoxville, it was a bit of a challenge to plan the rehearsal dinner from out of town. Jan helped us find local caterers, entertainment, etc. She and Emily and her staff set up the room according to how we envisioned it. The atmosphere was wonderful! There were two fireplaces burning when we arrived, little white lights outdoors, and the inside of the venue was so warm and welcoming. The guests loved it, and it was the perfect precursor to the wedding and reception the next day. I highly recommend the Reserve at Bluebird Hill and Jan Hall. She has truly created a one of a kind event venue for the area. This is a perfect place to hold a wedding or a rehearsal dinner. Great way to get the feel of the warmth and beauty of Knoxville and the Smoky Mountain area.

This was such an amazing place to have our wedding. We wanted something that wasn't too fancy but not rustic. When we first went to look here we fell in love with it. The owner,Jan, is wonderful and always around when you need her. She is great to help and answer any questions. Her wedding planner and her helped with everything all the way through the wedding :) it poured on our wedding day so had to have it indoors and with the lighting it was still beautiful! We were beyond pleased with the quality and friendliness

My daughter's wedding reception was at Bluebird Hill on September 14, 2013 and we could not have ask for a more perfect venue! The facility (indoors and outdoors) is beautiful and the staff members are very professional, reliable and very accommodating to work with. I felt like we were family! It was so comforting working with jan and Emily at Bluebird Hill, especially since I live in South Carolina. I highly recommend this venue for any event you want to be stress free and a success! What a beautiful place for a wedding reception! The gardens were at their peak! We enjoyed so very much meeting and planning with Jan and Paige as they helped us through all of the details necessary in our planning. We were so appreciative that they were so flexible with us and even allowed us to come back the next day to pick up decorations and materials left behind. Emily and Jan at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill made my husband and I's dream wedding come to fruition! Not only was the view breathtaking, but the venue itself is gorgeous. I had SO many guests tell me that they loved the venue and the decor when talking to them. The beautiful Southern feel of the horse farm makes for amazing photos too! Emily, the event coordinator, was such a joy to work with; she is very organized, easy going, and just a sweet person in general. I HIGHLY recommend utilizing this venue.

Amazing is an understatement. It was the best decision I made in wedding planning to go with bluebird hill. The beauty of the venue itself is unbeatable. The professionalism, friendliness, patience, and kindness of the staff was better than I ever could have asked for! The reserve at bluebird hill was an awesome place to have a summer wedding reception. Jan and Paige were very easy to work with and were available the majority of the time that I needed to meet with them. If I had any questions they were always willing to answer a phone call or respond to a text which was very helpful and reassuring! I definitely recommend the reserve at bluebird hill!

Absolutely love this place! They made our wedding a dream come true. Jan and Paige were so helpful and we could not have asked for a nicer staff, they honestly made us feel like family. Everyone was so wonderful and put so much effort into making everyone feel special. The grounds are amazing and have made for some beautiful pictures that everyone in our wedding party have printed off and have hanging in their homes. It has almost been a whole year since my husband and I got married, and our guests are still talking about how amazing and how much fun our wedding was. Truly the best venue in town!

I am beyond excited that we were able to use The Reserve for our wedding reception. All of the staff was very accommodating and I didn't have to worry about a thing because they took care of it all. It is a beautiful venue for either an indoor or outdoor wedding/reception. We did both indoor and outdoor and it was set up prettier than I could have ever imagined! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place for any kind of event

Absolutely stunning venue. Jan and Emily are very accomidating. We had a change in our wedding schedule and they helped us out by switching weekends no questions asked. I would gladly work with this venue in the future and am still in awe of the beautiful landscape and venue they have set up here.

Our wedding at the Reserve was absolutely amazing!! I couldn't have imagined the day going any better! The venue is beautiful and all of our guests commented on how great the place was and they had no idea this place was around. Jan and Emily are so great and you can tell they truly love what they do. They were each always available and Jan is so flexible when it comes to getting into the venue and preparing for the big day. I can't wait to see all of our pictures because the Reserve is beyond gorgeous! Definitely would recommend the Reserve to anyone who is getting married.

The Reserve at Bluebird Hill is a wonderful wedding or other special event venue- we had our wedding reception there. The owner, Jan Hall, is so friendly and helpful- she always responded to any question quickly and professionally. She even helped us by suggesting a lot of awesome wedding vendors. Bluebird Hill is GORGEOUS, it sits on top of a hill on in a large horse farm. I would highly recommend The Reserve at Bluebird Hill for a wedding or special event.

Bluebird Hill was an amazing, AMAZING place to have a reception and I could only imagine for the ceremony too (ours was in a church nearby). We loved Jan and her kindness! The location is perfect and the gorgeous views from Bluebird Hill were breathless! The bridal suit and air conditioned inside were huge, perfect for 150 guests! And even when it rains it doesn't change a thing! It stormed for my wedding and we still continued on with the festivities and even the pictures turned out beautiful with the storm clouds in the background! I would recommend this place to anyone having a wedding!

The staff at Bluebird Hill goes above and beyond to ensure that your day is perfect. They are extremely helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process and were nothing but professional from the first meeting to the big day. My entire family loved working with them and we have recommended the venue to several people already!

They were quick to respond in the beginning, and then slowed down before the event. They seemed a bit unorganized regarding paperwork and during the actual event itself. Overall, it was a great reception, but I think they could improve a bit on professionalism and organization. Also, their staff began cleaning before we even exited the reception (and we left well before the deadline) and the staff was wearing sweatpants and began eating the leftover food and cake. I liked the location a lot, but it just seems like these things shouldn't happen at a venue like this.

All of these things are things that guests probably don't care about, and it certainly didn't ruin my day. :)

I feel like I got stiffed because all the ther reviews are great.... The wedding venue was BEAUTIFUL but the provided wedding planner was more hurtful then helpful. Paige tried and did change my music I went down the aisl to and tried to change what we walked back up to because it wasn't "traditional" (it was supposed I be "I Won't Give Up" and "Gundam Style" and it ended up being "I Got You Babe" and two seconds of "Gundam Style" until "someone" cut it off)
Then the day before we made a plan for how the wedding day should go. Where specifically asked that they wait for me, my husband, and bridle/groom party returned after pictures to start servig food....instead we came back and everyone was done eating and some were leaving. Once we returned she rushed my husband and me into our first dance and then she had us eat, but because it was a Buffett since everyone had been eatting the wedding party got less than half servings of food (we had an extra 20 servings of food compared to people!!!) I guess people assumed no one else had to eat since they feed them all and we weren't even there.
While eating Paige came up and informed me after eating we would carve cake and then do the father daughter dance... Which was not only stupid because people will leave after cake and not stay and see the dance which was supper important to me, but it was again COMPLETLY different than what we discussed the day before!! I had to tell her no and then she acted like everythig I said was a big deal and that I was being unreasonable.
She acted like she was high and miserable the whole wedding and either lost the schedule we made the day before at the rehearsal or just didn't care...

First let me start off saying that the wedding was beautiful! But there were several things that marred the event. First of all, several of the bridesmaids and myself had money stolen out of the closet that was "supposed" to have a functional lock the night of the wedding. It wasn't working that night. Secondly, we were only notified a couple of days ahead of the wedding that we needed to bring a check for $125 for security guard since alcohol was being served. Thirdly, the top of the wedding cake somehow disappeared and no one knew what happened to it. Isn't this the responsibility of the venue? And lastly, several people (including myself) saw Jan's son helping himself to our alcohol, something that Jan vehemently denies. By the way, Jan is always right....just ask her! Be very cautious, brides! It is a beautiful place for a wedding, but the management leaves something to be desired.
